Went here during 2013-2014 for my associates in marketing, its an alright college. Tho my only bad points I remember from this is the intern job finder guy was really rude and I had other people who told me they had him too and he was rude to them as well. another bad point was one of the class counselors who made me take an unnecessary course and told me if i didn't take it i wouldn't get my degree only to find out that they lied and i didn't need to take that course (no refunds of course). Last bad point I remember was one of the job counselors who said they would help me find a job pretty much ghosted me after our first meeting. They gave such a wonderful speech about how I was going to get a lot of help finding a job and that i wouldn't be disappointed. well disappointment city here i came first class. total ghosted and never heard from after the second week of trying to talk to them. gave up trying to finding a job threw here. otherwise its an alright place but seriously have enough parking places that people taking classes here and no teacher saved parking spots for teachers who arent even there and we can see are sitting empty for most if not the entire day. Edit to respond to the owner: Sorry but I will not be using your "job finding services". After the first guy Matt Coulter if i remember his name right, was really rude and pretty much did absolutely NOTHING to help me when I had a problem with my internship. Then the job helper person I got to help me find a full time job litterly GHOSTED me, IE: never returning any phone calls, emails and was never there even tho I told they were there on the days they would be in, on 3 separate occasions I wasted my time trying to meet someone who just happened to "not" be there. Sorry your place litterly had two chances to help me and all i got was nothing but rudeness and nothingness. Have a nice dayAlex Brown

This place was the worst college to go to. The counselors don't really help you. They just sign you up for any course they can just so they can quickly boot you out the door not caring to help you find classes for your major or even find a major at all. For the Danvers campus in particular, it's a very snobby, predominately white(and prejudice), unfriendly atmosphere. A lot of them also flow over to the Lynn campus so they bring their snobby attitudes there. The students are worse than the instructors though the instructors can be pretty stuck up themselves. That's just the type of community Danvers is. You will find most of the people who have the edge at this school AND of course speak highly of it are the predominantly white population. I took a Bio 101 class once, and the instructor said in front of the class that blacks usually don't do well because they come from a poor background and lack proper education. It really is not a good place to get your education. Also, a lot of classes they have wont transfer to another college such as their Bio 101 course. You may not know that, but be sure the classes you take are transferable. Be sure to follow up on Rate My Professors website to know if you have a good instructor or not otherwise it's a hit or miss on having a great successful academic year or not. The staff can be very unfriendly on the phone or in person when you go to any of their offices. When you attend this school, you better have direction on what you want to do because No one there is really going to help you unless you have a really good instructor. I transferred out to a better community college and it was one of the best choices I've ever made.Maximum Achievement

I have done four semesters at NSCC in the Criminal Justice program over the past two years. North Shore was a decent place for me to start my college education, as I feel like going to a full-fedged State University for four years is a massive scam and waste of money. Professor Koshivas and D'Agastino were great and I learned a great deal in their classes. The Danvers campus is very clean and modern and much nicer than the Lynn campus, which gave me the feeling of being in a dirty train tunnel. My issues with the school pertain to its administration. I had multiple issues when enrolling for classes during each semester. It seemed like no matter what some piece of paperwork would be lost. Once they even lost proof of one of my scholarships, luckily I had copies. When it came time to cut the check for the semester there would always be an issue with the amount. Sometimes we overpaid, sometimes we underpaid, it was as though they never got the final amount right on the first try. It was frusturating to deal with. Another issue I had was with the WiFi in the school. I would be in the library during the period between classes on my laptop trying to get work done, only to find the connection suddenly stopped and I could no longer connect to the internet. Some days were worse than others with this, it was very unpredictable as to when it would work and when it would not. I won't end up graduating from North Shore as of right now as I'm going the military route instead. However, there are some very good professors at this school, just be prepared to deal with a mediocre administrative department if you decide that North Shore is for you.Millard Fillmore

I live near this college and me and my wife and kids love to take walks threw it. It's so beautiful and peaceful. Also you have campus police always around so you feel safe at all times. We just got a bill for 13000 more then what we paid last 2 years with no notice that our aid was taken away . I will never recommend this school to anyone we know. My sons went to f and m and Millersville and had a great experience but the way the school handled this situation is a disgrace . They haven’t even replied to my email I sent on June 30 th to the board so I assumed I’m just screwed we have no choice but to pay since already a Junior and can’t transfer. Look elsewhere this place is a true disappoint thinking we were going to a small school which would treat us like they cared ! Not !Kristie

The health center is the most unprofessional medical staff I've ever encountered. They cancelled an appointment I made several weeks in advance on the day of. When I tried to reschedule, they couldn't get me in until the following month because priority goes to "yeast infections and things like that." I asked if I could have someone else's appointment in the event they cancel, at which point the woman on the phone got audibly irritated, like this was an extravagant and far-fetched request, and the call ended. Fast forward and I'm getting a call back from an upset nurse practitioner for the sole purpose of squabbling with me over the previous phone call and who had no intention of getting me an exam. I'm getting my masters are there in Computer Science. While it is not as intense as I would have expected it to be, it is definitely a great second choice to UW if you are looking for in person classes and are interested in pursuing a PHD. It is worth noting that the UW Professional Master's in Computer Science will not help you get a PHD. The lack of a project or research will block you from PHD programs.Soren Ludwig

I live only 3 blocks from here and it's got rare plants so I like that since I need a cane to go places. Too bad a Street goes through campus so they got a skybridge that goes to third floor so you have to use steps or elevators on both ends. I got my MBA from this school and it was great! I took both in class and online courses to fit my schedule. It was a tough program, but which one isn't. I can't understand why someone would bash the place, if it's a joke, why didn't this person graduate? Anyway, the school is opening a new downtown Seattle campus which will complement its many international sites and opportunities. It's a young university founded in 1973 so it does not yet have to "tradition" of the more established/older local universities but is still very good. City U is one of just a handful of schools around the globe that is accredited by the Project Management Institute (PMI) on top of regional accreditation. I'm very happy I went here. I was able to take an exec ed program at Harvard a few years later, so if Harvard doesn't have a problem with City U, why should some anonymous user?James Thomas

Save your money and find somewhere else to take classes. My first class wasn't awful but second class is a bloody disaster. I'm transferring out ASAP. I've had to complain and complain and email and email more than I should ever have to get the right information, it's been a complete disaster. I cannot believe that I paid over $2,000 for this crap excuse for a class. Worst school I’ve ever attended! IT service has no phone number to reach out. School health insurance never reply your call. International student advisors hard to reach out. I was pursing my Bachelors Degree but had to leave college due to unforeseen financial difficulties. I was looking for a job in the IT field but no one wants to hire you unless you have years of experience. I had heard about the Per Scholars program and decided it would be a great option in getting the experience I needed in order to obtain a job that would pay enough for me to go back to college. I attended the orientation which was very informative. Passed both reading and math TABE exams, filled out all the forms, submitted all the necessary documents, and took both assessments for their engineering programs. I have yet to hear back from the program on whether or not I passed the last assessments. Its been over 2 weeks! I've emailed, called, left messages and haven't heard back from anyone. Classes start next month, and I'm stuck! I've turned down numerous jobs thinking this program would be great for me. I appreciate programs like Per Scholas trying to uplift communities, especially minority communities, but this really is a shame.deKKo 213

Perscholas has changed my life dramatically and will always have a place in my heart and in my Future. The instructors are amazing. They work with you to help you become the best person you can be. I am A+ certified and working on my Network+. I am an alumni from Perscholas. The admissions director does a fantastic job at recruiting people who are determined and hard working individuals. My classmates were very helpful and diverse. I recommend this program to anyone who has a passion for IT and wants a great career. The course is 15 weeks. Not only do you get hands on IT training, but you also get business development. You have a separate instructor who helps build you resume and confidence to get you interview ready. Gage Academy of Art is a gift. The instructors are highly capable teachers and artists, offering an opportunity for students to learn more in a few classes, than may be possible in an arts degree from larger schools. Gage's strength lies in providing classes solid in foundational skills for drawing, painting and sculpture. I highly recommend any class taught by Mitch Albala. HIs Landscape painting course was stellar. 5-stars. Gage's youth program is also an incredible opportunity for teens (and kids) to learn solid skills and gain confidence. My teen is thrilled with the classes she's taken (4 so far), feels supported by the instructors and empowered by engaging in a class that gives her a skill set of understanding and focus. She said "If I could learn this much at High School, I'd LOVE to get up in the morning!" (no small feat). My only regret in regards to Gage, is that it wasn't around when I was a teen, it would've saved me years of 'learning the hard way'. My pre-teen daughter attended a week-long summer camp at Gage and enjoyed it. The camp mostly involved art (collages with modpodge, book cover designs, cardboard creations, other art with pen and paint toward the creation of a zine, etc.). She also did some creative movement, which she found interesting. Overall, she enjoyed the camp. The location is easy to get to and there are places to park as you do dropoffs and pickups. I wish they did more writing with the book projects, though. It was heavy on the art and not much on the story or writing. I also thought more directed instruction with techniques could have made it better, but I think providing a space for the kids to create on their own, following their own inner artist, so to speak, was worthwhile. The room didn't have AC, but kids didn't seem to mind much. The room was oozing with a sense of art and project-making/building.Tom Johnson

Gage Academy is a top notch art school. The Aristides Atelier, taught by the highly acclaimed painter, Juliette Aristides, is a serious multi-year program for serious painters who want to learn the technical skills of the 'master painters' of the Renaissance. She teaches both realist figure painting and still life. The two other ateliers specialize in still life taught by Gary Faigin (Gage Founder) and the more conceptual painting atelier is taught by Mark Kang O' Higgins. All three of these instructors are successful painters in their own right. The sculpture atelier is also excellent, taught by local sculptor, Mike McGrath. As a graduate from Rhode Island School of Design, I highly recommend Gage Academy. PS- I have never had any trouble with any receptionist there.Eve Alyson

The hotel part had great service and the rooms were comfortable. The rooms are relatively smaller than what you'll find in most hotels but pretty consistent with boutique type hotels. Views from the rooms are decent. One of the best amenities was access to the entire athletic club facilities. The facilities are spread over multiple floors with multiple workout area (some gender specific), several fitness studios and classrooms, and several locker rooms. There is a pool and locker room hot tub. There are a couple saunas and a steam room as well. The staff are friendly and accommodating. There are also a few eateries and restaurant choices within the facility. Overall it was a great stay. We booked a block of rooms and the Governor's Suite for our wedding on the recommendation of our venue and it could not have been a better choice. Not only was it close to our venue, but the room itself was gorgeous and the size of the suite was perfect for the bridesmaids and our HMUA team to get ready. The staff were amazingly accommodating as well. Jordyn in particular was a godsend. I offhandedly called the morning of our wedding asking if they had a full-length mirror that we could borrow to get ready with since there wasn't one in our room and she made it happen for us. The parking is a little pricey, but honestly its probably one of the more affordable garages to be found downtown. We tried to hang in there and even had a sit down chat with upper management, but nothing came of it and the poor service continued. Long story, but the staff is unionized just FYI. Every private club I’ve belonged to have bent over backwards for their guests, but not this place. They were downright rude to us one too many times. David Baum & his team did a phenomenal job for my Tennis elbow pain and lower back pain. They fixed it fast and provided me a plan to prevent injury and pain in the future. They are friendly, knowledgeable, and provided an excellent treatment and rehab plan. They have a philosophy of fixing the root causes of your pain, and prescribes exercises to help get rid of your pain PERMANENTLY! They did a fantastic job explaining my pain in-depth, from causes and how they plan on treating it with exercises & deep tissue work. They value your time and don't want to create a dependency for you, instead they want to see you as few times as possible and get your back to your normal pain free life FAST. That was really refreshing, as chiropractors in the past wanted me to visit them 5-6x but Airrosti fixed my pain in 3 visits. I highly recommend Airrosti!Glen P

David was amazing! I'm very pleased with my care at Airrosti. David greeted me, reviewed my medical history with me even though I could tell he had already looked it over which makes me feel like our session together could be very focused on the issue I was having in my neck. He did his deep tissue/nerve stimulation/massage/manipulation and though it was painful, it was controlled and he gave me fair warning what to expect as well as let me know that he would stop if it become unbearable. Both Dr. Baum & Dr. Sharma were first class in their treatment of me as a patient from day 1. My initial appointment was with Dr. Baum and he quickly diagnosed the cause of my back pain before setting me up with a great set of workouts to do at home. Then I had the pleasure of visiting with Dr. Sharma next. She worked with me for a while to both fix my back pain as well as educating me on the root cause. If you're serious about learning Mandarin, I can wholeheartedly say that Evan, Garrett, and co are some of the most friendly, talented, and passionate educators that you can have during your study. I thoroughly enjoy my time in class and cannot believe how far I have progressed my Mandarin learning in such a small period of time. Overview: The program is broken into 3 9-week semesters where you start with a cohort of about 6 students. Class is structured such that you learn the material and do homework before class and reinforce everything during class. You spend the entire time in class speaking Mandarin with your classmates. I LOVED this class structure because it made your time in class really effective. Everything builds on top of each other so you are constantly reinforcing your material. Furthermore, the actual content you practice is real and practical. As with any language class this class is a commitment: you WILL have to practice your flash cards and you WILL have study every day. It is challenging. But the pay off is amazing; by week 3 most of the class is lectured in Chinese and you would not believe how much you've learned in such a small period of time. If you're serious about learning Mandarin, then I cannot recommend this program enough. I've had such an amazing experience with Excel Mandarin! The teachers are so helpful and patient, the curriculum is aimed towards conversation and expression which I love, and the workload is challenging in a way that pushes you forward! I always enjoyed classes with my awesome teachers and classmates. I've just completed Q3 with Excel Mandarin and even though extra business in life kept me from focusing on it as much as I would have liked, I feel excited and well-prepared for continuing on in improving and growing in my Mandarin skills. I've tried to learn with other self-teaching methods in the past, but never thought fluency would be possible for me until these classes! So grateful for this school!Mary Kathryn

I joined ExcelMandarin to become more confident in speaking Chinese in a more conversational setting. I've taken Chinese classes in college but we spent the majority of the time learning how to read and write (which is great but my goal was to be able to hold a conversation with my family members). The curriculum makes Chinese super fun to learn and the teachers are so patient and really would like you to succeed. There's a lot of virtual Chinese classes available but this one by far is the most unique in their curriculum, small teacher to student ratio and overall awesome community that you can have even after finishing your classes 🙂Maggie Zhang

My partner and I went here last weekend and I had a wonderful instructor and really enjoyed my time during the class! Overall my experience was great, my instructor constantly checked in on me and I felt really comfortable. If I could have an instructor as great as her I would definitely attend again!! My partner did not have such a great experience however… since my time was great I'm going to keep my rating, but his experience was pretty bad and I just wanted to mention it since I'm pretty sure you all read the reviews. I don't remember the instructor's name but it started with a D and he was the other instructor on June 25 for the 1pm CPR class. He made fun of students mistakes in front of the whole class and rushed through the class as quickly as possible, my partner said he didn't feel like he learned anything new and that attending a class with him wasn't even worth the drive out. The videos we watched at home were way more informative. The instructor even read the evaluations as there were handed in making my partner uncomfortable to voice his opinions himself. The instructor was rude and over all a very bad look for CPR Seattle. I'm confident that most instructors aren't like this there from what I've heard from others. I was just so disappointed to hear that my partner had such a terrible experience.Payton Boliek

Colby led our staff training and it was the best training I've ever received over 20 years of these kind of certifications. He modeled respectful care and embodied awareness, including sensitivity to diverse populations. And his teaching style demonstrated exceptional methods and pedagogy. He first drew out and drew upon what we already knew/thought about an issue, then he added to it, helping all the way to shape and inform how we THINK during a crisis, not how to memorize steps that we'll forget during a crisis. He really got the learning into our body memory and common sense logic, relieving a lot of the pressure to "get it right" and instead, helping us to think through "how do I know what to do next and why to do it?" This was an easy to follow, educational, and fun class. My only complaint is the 2 person exercises. I’m with a bunch of strangers, I don’t want to be paired up. If that’s necessary for the certification then ah well. 🤷🏻‍♀️ The instructor, Robb, was fantastic. He corrected everyone quietly so we weren’t embarrassed and made sure to check on us all. I was seeking out personal training because I had fallen off my normal workout routine, largely due a historically bad knee and what imagine tight/sore hips from bad posture at my 9-5 I assumed the trainer would just create a workout to avoid the pain or stress, but Ben is no ordinary trainer! You can see Ben’s passion for fitness and health from the get-go. He has been committed to addressing the pain and resolving it rather than avoiding it, he’s mantra being that no one has to live with pain. It’s been great working with him the past few months. Local Fit personal training was the perfect way to supplement my exercise routine while spending 2 months in Seattle! John was responsive and accommodating in finding a schedule that worked for me while I was in town. I found this gym on a whim and couldn’t be happier. I was looking for a personal trainer that would help me with mild scoliosis and longer standing sports injuries and was lucky enough to have met Ben. I've been going to studio 206 since it opened and absolutely love the club! It has been the BEST thing I've done for my mind, body and soul. Great investment for my wellbeing and mental health. My favorite dance style is urban dance fitness with Nicole Ellis (the owner of the studio). It is high intensity, you burn lots of calz and the choreo is brilliant! This dance studio also offers a wide variety of dance styles. Other great instructors are MacKenzie, Tricia Diamonds, Isaiah, Patience, Ruby and many more! Check it out!! Best thing that happened to me after moving to Seattle was finding Studio 206. This place is the real deal: wonderful and supportive teachers, creative/top-notch choreography, super fun music, beautiful space, wonderful and warm friends who come regularly to dance together, and a gem of an owner, Nicole, who holds the place together. Cyclebar SLU is hands down my favorite spin studio! Everyone is so welcoming and encouraging; you truly get a sense of community here! Management is wonderful and so helpful, wether it’s helping you find the right shoes, class packages to fit your budget and schedule, setting up your bike, or helping you out with all the cool Cyclebar merch! The instructors are amazing and so motivational, and they’re the best DJ’s in town! They provide the hype, realness, and grit to push you through a tough workout. I really appreciate all the effort and accommodations Cyclebar SLU has been committed to during the pandemic. When workout studios had to close, they allowed riders to rent bikes to take virtual classes at home! They check your temp at the door, provide additional masks, ask that everyone keep their masks on, they sanitize the studio between each class, and they even have partitions hanging in front of the bikes. They’ve gone above and beyond to make riders feel safe! I know spin classes can seem intimidating at first, but Cyclebar SLU has nothing but LOVE for their riders!Lesli Roush

Of all of the fitness facilities I've ever been to, CycleBar stands head and shoulders above the rest. The staff is kind, helpful, and attentive to everyone regardless of if they new to the studio or a regular. All of the instructors are fantastic. I've had at least a class with every single instructor and enjoy each of them. The studio is kept exceptionally clean and the equipment is in great condition. The atmosphere and culture of the studio is positive, supportive and encouraging of everyone. If you've ever considered taking a spin class, I'd highly recommend giving CycleBar a try!Corey Haydon

I took a class at Cycle South Lake Union for the first time today. They made me feel like a queen from moment I walked into the studio. They had a locker picked out for me with a welcome sign with my name on it and inside the locker was a gift: water bottle, reusable water bottle with my name on it and a card signed by the instructors. As I am new to spin classes, I was grateful for the assistance I received getting my bike set up to fit me. The class was fantastic! After gaining weight from working from home the past 2 years, I decided to sign up for a personal trainer. First, because I hate going to the gym and second, I didn’t know the most effective way to work out. After looking online, I decided to take the plunge to invest in a Personal Trainer. Ended up doing a trial run at transform 180 and the rest is history. I’ve been going there for the past 2.5 months and plan on prob going there for the next few years (or until I hit my 40s is the running joke)! Karo is my PT, and she keeps me engaged and motivated. She’s awesome at both demonstrating the movements and making sure I’m in the right form. She gives me tips on how I can manage my nutrition (a hidden Keto expert). Overall I would recommend my personal trainer. And dare I say, I really enjoy the training sessions?Jennifer Chu

Really love going to the training session here! They have really good equipments. James always make the sessions interesting and fun. He is very detail oriented and make sure I am using the right form! I am always given a heads up of what’s coming for the hour of training and can be even adjusted based on my energy level for the day. I am able to see progress in my strength and body too. James also makes a note of my weight and gives me tips on how I can manage my nutrition. Overall I would recommend my personal trainer and the gym to anyone. I love training at transform 180. Karo is a great trainer, she makes sure that I get the form right and explains clearly how the exercise will have an impact on my body. Her workouts are both fun and challenging. She’s been mindful of my previous injuries and plans my workouts accordingly. Karo patiently answers all my fitness and nutrition related questions and checks in with me on my food intake as well. I like how she pushes me to workout on my off days too and I can see myself getting stronger with her. The highest praise I can give Industrious SLU is that having relocated multiple times I always wish I could move back to Seattle JUST to attend their classes. Let's get the boring stuff out of the way, the equipment is well-maintained, the workout space is clean, and the wods are super fun and challenging. But the real stars are the coaches and the community. I've never been the athletic type myself, but I found myself excited to check in every single week, because of the constant encouragement and support of the downright friendly coaches. If they could teach me those Olympic lifts, I'm confident they can quite literally teach anyone. Special shoutout to Bret, Zanna, Stephen, and Heather, you just couldn't find a better group of coaches, with their welcoming personalities and infectious energy (thank you for taking my music requests!). I'm sure the morning coaches are just as brilliant, I'm just too lazy to have made it to any of those sessions. Plus, I made some great friends in the process – an amazing added bonus! Only if I could give more than 5 stars to these folks! The ambience is very motivating, equipment is high quality and maintained. I have been going here since 3 months now and have never been this happy about a gym. The trainers are very friendly and they always make sure you know the move and technique. I thought I would never learn how to do rope skipping but I was wrong. The trainer not only gave me a substitute workout incase I didn’t wanted to do it but also gave me tips and tricks on how learn. The next week I was skipping 150 reps single under with a smiling face. I would highly recommend taking a free class and experiencing yourself. All trainers are amazing but I would also recommend taking a class with Bret!mahir dhall

Industrious is a great place to be! Industrious' equipment is top notch and each person has their own set of well maintained equipment to use inside a personal workout space called a HALO. The investiment in equipment drastically eliminates the usual time spent grabbing equipment makes the workout more efficient. The systematic approach respects people's time and ensures that you can get the full workout without going over the time. On top of the great system, the coaching staff is welcoming and encouraging, and makes the experience fun as you work out to their music which syncs well with the workout. I'm very happy that I found Industrious and highly recommend that you come in and join us!Josh I

I forgot all of their names because I’m terrible but the staff are wonderful, informative people. They know their stuff and they put up with my total idiocy and bad jokes with graceful aplomb and basically changed my life. Or my feet at least. I learned so much from them! They just were like, “here’s a 3D representation of how incredibly weird you are, we have just the thing for that”. Paraphrasing of course. The diagnostic/modeling tools they have in the store are VERY cool. 10/10 I spent more money than I could have before on freaking SHOES, and I *hate* running, but I’m not even mad about it because these are hands-down the most comfortable things I have ever owned. I went to the fleet feet today and got fitted for a new pair. Turns out my left arch is much higher than my right, but everything else about my feet are very similar. It was pretty cool to see all the stats from the foot scan. Anyways I got a pair of brooks that are very stylish. He put some inserts in them to correct the arch difference and my right foot (which has been hurting recently) was finally feeling good again on my walk home. Staff was friendly, efficient, and knowledgable. Great experience!Logan Webster

Came here to get a new pair of running shoes to help me prepare for my Marathon training and was recommended to try Fleet Fleet. The staff was attentive and knowledgeable – s/o Gabe!! I landed with a pair of HOKA's which I didn't expect. The AI scan of my foot taught me a lot and I felt that I could take my time on my decision and felt comfortable with my purchase. I hardly ever write reviews, but I have been working out at ZUM for nearly a year now and it is not an exaggeration to say ZUM and their team has advanced the quality of my life and health for the better, big time. First, the ZUM experience: while at first it could seem a bit intimidating at first, the facility is truly the best environment to workout anywhere in Seattle and I have over the years tried pretty much all of them, both public and private clubs. The combination of the generous space over two floors, the light from all three sides as well as huge skylights, the variety of serious and practical machines and equipment with the amazing warmup ‘runway’, the multitude of free classes coming with membership, BUT most of all is the great staff many of which become friends: they are truly dedicated to make you welcome, be your workout community, and most important to reach your fitness goals. My assigned advisor and trainer Rick, (with membership you get one evaluation and session free), set me up with a great program to reach what I thought at the time were more than aggressive goals. If he sees me during the week with not quite the right form or technique he happily coaches me gratis and inspires me to move beyond my goals, which I surprisingly have. ZUM says, ‘you are stronger than you think’.. and then they show you how with that positive constructive training community, the essence of ZUM. The facility is first rate, with a fairly roomy men’s locker room that has the only shower in Seattle with natural western light that I know of. A few lockers recently needed maintenance and were tweaked by Kevin, one of the many great staff that always makes one feel welcome. Favorite part of my week is to go work out at ZUM, best fitness center and value in Seattle. Highly recommend. Thanks ZUM!William Gaylord

UPDATE: I've seen the company take great strides in the light of recent events and commend their forward thinking to keep everyone safe and healthy. They were amongst the first of many companies to offer creative solutions to protecting the continued health and safety of their clients and staff, offering live remote classes at home, keeping us informed via email, and detailing what steps they were taking to deep clean and sterilize the facility. They've shown that they are proactive rather than reactive, and I wanted to give my thanks. Previous- For location and convenience, zum currently works for us. The people here are friendly, staff and gym goers alike, but there have been too many upkeep issues lately that have really gotten to my partner and I. Namely, the cleanliness of the facility in whole, the poor quality of the towels, the state of the products in the locker room, and other minor things. They have replaced a few machines and added a cold towel mini fridge, but these don't make up for what needs to be changed and upkept – especially the mats and towels. It's also uncommonly warm in this gym, winter and summer alike.Dana Cretu

I remain impressed with Zūm Fitness. Zūm has always been different in a very positive way – while most gyms are all about taking in as much money as possible under the guise of health and fitness, Zūm has always been about improving the well-being of not only members, but staff and the greater community. It’s a welcoming group of highly skilled fitness professionals looking to help inspire true change. Unsurprisingly, Zūm has maintained a standard of excellence within the constraints of the pandemic. Rather than meeting bare minimum requirements, their staff came together to brainstorm how to best meet the needs of their members, resulting in a complete restructuring of their operating model. I’m honored to be a part of the Zūm community – it’s a place I feel safe and supported working out (even during a pandemic), and a community in which I feel any concerns I have are truly taken to heart.
