20 Best Rn Programs In Bronx, NY (2022 Updated)

I have trouble with the administration every semester. Either my financial aid gets all messed up, they never notify me of a bill (I collect late fees for 4 months because of this), I get unregistered for classes, my schedule is wrong…. etc. Every semester I have to call them almost every day to get their mistake of the day figured out. The professors seem to care about the students, and overall the experience has been educational, but the administration is an actual joke. Update: They screwed me over this semester, too. They over-awarded my financial aid, realized they did this, took it back away (without telling me) and now, out of the blue, I owe them $1200.00. I found out about this today, and the bill is due in 13 days. The sad part is, I'm not even surprised because something like this happens every semester.Erin D

I can’t say enough great things about Corning community college. As a returning adult student, I have had a wonderful experience. The professors truly care about your success as a student and go above and beyond to help you succeed. A good school where you get out what you put in. Many trains stop within walking distance and buses as well. Just like any college, depending on your major, you will find good and bad professors. So always make use of the rate my professor website. I had a very pleasant experience. The administration was more competent than other schools I went to and my issues were always solved within a reasonable amount of time. The facilities I had to use for my major were in even better condition compared to some four year schools. The wifi coverage was good. Plenty of cafeterias with the best one being in the E building. Plenty of food trucks with different types of foods. Lots of seating areas with electrical ports. The class scheduling was workable with enough sections to fit almost everyone. Can't speak for any other major but it felt like that overall. They are always hiring new adjuncts so it's not the same professor teaching that one section you need all the time that everyone says is horrible. Always stay on top of your things if you want to have them resolved quickly. That's the part you play in your college years. The hand holding stops after High School. All I can say is, relax a little and have some fun. At the end of the day grades won't show the strength of your character after all is said and done.Mounia B

It seems like professors like the one I got Professor Arnold who acts likes she is going through the motions and don't there . i felt I waste my time and money which I paid out of pocket in her class and is thinking about leaving the college. She is one of the worst teachers/professors i ever had . I think cause it a community college a lot of them are mad cause they can't teach in a four year college through out of the community colleges in NY LaGuardia is the best . Im currently in my last year at LaGuardia (majoring in business) and i have to say the Business department is full of AMAZING professors. Classes are really easy (most of them except accounting unless you're good at it) and the students are cool. I, personally, never talked to anyone or made any friends because I'm not an outgoing person. The school is constantly going under renovations and they just finished the new library and it looks AMAZING, as if it was a library from an ivy league. Food isn't that great but what do you expect, its school food [not free of course]. This is not a good college at all. It's a decent sized school but I found many of the students here to be very cold and unfriendly. It's a very political school everyone is either very liberal or very conservative which made me uncomfortable since i'm not a political person. There is a lot of drug activity at this school. My overall education received I will give a 5 star. But as for respect for alumni and help available to them I give 1 star. I completed my b.s in 3 and a half years, I got a scholarship for 8,000. I decided to attend because my best friend was attending and enjoyed the school. I also did not want to attend a CUNY, I wanted to try a private college, but not too expensive. My education received was great, the professors were friendly and well educated as well as had expierence in their related field. BUT I have to take a required course for a masters degree program, I would prefer to take it as SFC, so I ask if the terrier come home program applies and they say NO because I am not pursuing another degree. Well, I’m sorry you don’t provide my graduate program. CUNY wants to charge me 2,200 for one class, I asked if SFC could lower the rate since I graduate there and they made about 20,000 off of my degree? They flat out said no, unless I’m pursuing another degree and would not discount the rate of 860 per credit which is about 400 more than CUNY. They wouldn’t discount me anything AT ALL lol. I would never even consider taking a masters degree program, certification or any other course at this school again. It was very uncooth and disrespectful to not offer any discount especially seeing as they made an immense amount of money off of me. I graduate cum laude and would have attended their graduate school but they offer 3 limited programs with a crazy tuition. Save your money and go to a CUNY for your masters. It’s okay for a undergraduate program but masters programs are limited and the amount they charge for the quality for care and respect for students is minimal. When I went the lobby and cafeteria area had classroom chairs and it looked awful, now it’s all done up and amazing looking lol is that what the extra charge is for ? I would have considered paying a bit extra but the way the man replied via email was kind of snark and annoying. You think they would treat alumni better. Oh well, whatever. They raised the tuition at lease 5,000 bucks in the 3 years I was there and if I’d known that previously I would have saved myself the student debt and went to a CUNY 😂🤷🏼‍♀️ Professors get 5 stars. I am going to be a Sophomore this year and I couldn't be happier with the school. All the faculty and staff made the transition from high school to college very smooth. The faculty and staff care about how your are doing both academically and personally. From the minute I stepped through the door at my open house, I was automatically welcomed with open arms to the St. Francis College family. Everyone from the students to the faculty members are friendly as well, it is really easy to find a solid group of people who will be by your side for a long time. Its also the perfect school for students who want to be highly involved on campus. There are lots of opportunities from department jobs, to research assistants, to clubs and sports teams. I myself am a member of two of their 21 NCAA Division 1 teams, as well as a handful of other clubs and organizations on campus, from Student Government to the Latin American Society. This is the perfect school for someone who wants to be an individual and find themselves, rather than just be one of a few thousand. By spending a day at St. Francis College, I immediately felt a strong connection with the school and everybody in it. I have never felt such an amazing vibe like this ever before. I took Acting & Gymnastics classes growing up as a kid @ KCC; along with taking other performing arts enrichment classes @ Brooklyn College also while growing up, although Brooklyn College wasn't affiliated with my high school like KCC was. KCC has a great campus for a CUNY two-year college (one of the nicest in the CUNY system being right on Manhattan Beach) and is also the partner CUNY institute with my High School alma mater, Edward R. Murrow whom it operates the CollegeNow! program with. I spent my Junior and Senior years at Murrow taking KCC college-level courses taught by both Murrow faculty, and visiting KCC faculty (at Murrow) as well as commuting to the KCC campus from Murrow for additional classes that could only be taught on-site @ the KCC campus. It was EXTREMELY academically enriching to be able to enjoy a college level curriculum whilst still being in High School; and that was due directly to KCC's collaboration with my high school. My GPA went up as a result of the CollegeNow! program during my last two years at Murrow as did my SAT scores. I have KCC to thank for that. 👍👏👏👏👏Ben Schaeffer

Kingsborough CC has a very nice entertainment program, well-run and well-sited, with both indoor and outdoor venues. This year's 4-part post-pandemic return to their July outdoor series has been a real winner for the 3 weeks of it so far, with decent weather enhancing the winning combination. Performers have commented on how well-received they are when they come to perform there, from an enthusiastic staff that really respects their art, to receptive audiences. That reputation has allowed audiences to see a number of top-notch acts more than once there, as the artists appreciate that respectful treatment. There have been other events there, all of which were interrupted by COVID since it came around, so there will be needed time to get those back on track. There are cautionary protocols in place even now: those attending must provide proof of vaccination, with masks optional. Not sure of masking will or will not be required once the indoor events resume, but it certainly appears that the staff has kept up-to-date with everything necessary.N H Tanner

I went to Nyack College in the city for one year and switched to a CUNY school after as I felt the quality of education did not match the HIGH costs. I remember when I was first applying to the school, I was so nervous about taking out such high loan amounts to pay for one year. I kept communicating this to the admissions person, but he kept telling me that no one could take away my education and convinced me to take the loans. I loved my time at SUNY JCC during my 3 year tenure. I originally enrolled on the Olean campus with an Individual Studies degree. however, I did not enjoy that campus and I wanted something bigger and better for myself. During my spring break that year, I toured the campus and fell in love. I changed my degree to Media Arts and August that year I moved to the dorms. My roommates were not the best to at the least but I had amazing professors and the classes actually taught me life skills. My last year I moved to the West building and got a whole set of new roommates and we became best friends. I loved being able to walk only 5 mins to my classes each morning and the Artworks department was amazing. I loved on weekends it was always open and I always was able to get my graphic design or video projects done without stressing. The people you meet and the professors were just amazing. They always carried for you and if you had trouble, they were always there. I also attended a study abroad trip that summer to Japan and I had a Wonderfull time! I graduated last May with my degree and now I am interning at a local business in my hometown! People might give JCC a bad rep but, I loved the school. My family told me they would set up a payment plan. During an entire semester, I assumed a payment plan was set up. But, to my surprise, no payment plan was set up. I received a call from a debt collector telling me I had college debt that was unpaid. I called the Cattaraugus campus to confirm, and they confirmed it, and they said that letters were sent to my home. No one in my family received anything. I received nothing. Now, I'm stuck with a bill I can't pay, and having to deal with debt collectors. I can't pay the bill due to losing my job because of COVID. JCC should have called me on top of sending the supposed notices. Because of their error, I'm stuck with payments I can't make, and having to make sacrifices in order to pay. This school is very biased when it comes to work study jobs. Don’t come here looking for a word study job unless your a INTERNATIONAL student or a athlete. In addition the ladies in the business office are very rude and nasty. The ladies in the financial aid office don’t have no knowledge, I don’t know why they even work there. Residence life is super boring. They try to do actives but their just childish and tacky. It would be better if they did activities outside a campus. This school also didn’t give me no type of scholarship even though I had over a 3.5 gpa. I absolutely loved SUNY Morrisville, I graduated from here years ago with my associate degree in Hospitality; and I could tell you we all were like a big family including the teachers specially Dr Joan Johnson. We all cared for each other, helped each other, worked with each other not only as a team, or friends but more like family. I wouldn't change this experience for nothing, all my professors were caring and really had an interest in every one learning and play such a big and positive impact in our lives. this school could be be great if the teachers didn’t play favorites. i had one bad semester and was dismissed from the college but someone who has had bad grades since they got there 3 years ago got to stay with no problems it makes no sense. on top of it if you don’t live on campus alot of people there won’t talk to you. and the best part is if you ask the teachers for help and your not there favorite they will not help you whatsoever. if you were thinking about going here do your research because there really not as great as they seem i made the mistake of not doing research and just going there biggest mistake ever.ashley colvin

Transferred after my first semester because I couldn't stand the place. Administration can't get things done, is unhelpful, and just horrible. It takes them forever to do anything, and when you try to get things moving they get mad. I had issues with a roommate and Resident Life was very rude to me and had no intentions of helping me. Professors are nothing to brag about, I did have a few good ones. There is nothing special about this school/campus whatsoever, and is ridiculously expensive for what it is.T B

The only reason ppl go here and are willing to grossly pay for an education is the location. I went to school here and will say it is far overpriced for the education you are given. Some staff are great and really care about the education they are providing. Others just read off a powerpoint and have no interest except for a paycheck. Pace is expensive, doesn't help the students getting internships and when the students get one on their own, Pace takes the credit. After graduating, the students don't get a job. One of their alumni just got a good job and due to she owes money, they don't give her transcripts and are retaining her title. Is not possible for Pace to help when the students really need help? This is a good school. However, the quality is almost identical to the CUNY school I attended before coming here that costed significantly less. Additionally, the lack of diversity (granted, because of how this is a private school) is also lacking. As an RCC graduate of 2015 I can say this was a second home for me. I had the best professors, a very kind advisor who helped me so much through it all. I had an amazing job on campus I absolutely loved, it helped me get involved more with school events and get out of my shy shell ☺️. This student and her entire family caught COVID and this pathetic excuse of a doctor/professor compared her sickness to her grandfathers surgery. I really can’t explain what I went through with the staff, so unprofessional and the attitude is horrible I always try to be as nice as possible but the way they treat people is awful. They literally screamed at my mom who does not speak any English for not having her vaccine card with her although she had picture of the vaccine but her phone was dead they yelled at her and did not try to help her enter the building at all. One of its kinda school Historic place as it is more than 100 year old school CUNY’S most iconic campus so far As building is quite old, construction is going on still it’s worth taking a walk here Lush green gardens and beautiful library plus awesome walkways and old concert hall and other buildings. If I could, I would easily give York a ZERO RATING! NOTHING against the professors I’ve come across, but the school, policy and registrar/bursar staff and policy are ridiculous. I have been charged, during the pandemic I might add FULL. I clearly withdrew from summer classes and was literally ONE day passed the 100% refund date. After, I spoke continuously with bursar who kept sending me back to registrar. ALL professors assisted in submitting documentation showing I DID NOT CONTINUE in the ONLINE courses. Although I submitted required, and accurate paperwork documenting the WHY I could not complete the summer session, this greedy school is charging me ONE HUNDRED PERCENT for courses that their own records reflect that u withdrew from. Again, let me reiterate this was at the time of a Pandemic. I am now not able to register or do anything until this balance is paid. I think this school is deplorable, too much of the staff is unprofessional and not helpful At all! They’re dismissive and there is never any considerations or flexibility offered. If you can, avoid this school. Majority of the staff are unprofessional, lazy and do not seem to take their job seriously. Imagine emailing your professor and days, or even up to week plus passes by with no response. Some professors to avoid, Darrell Morris- extremely unprofessional acts as if he's paying us to be there and not the other way around. Does not actually teach anything, except the one time he was being evaluated. Does not respond to emails. Never comes on camera. Samuel Olagun- jeez where do I begin. Just do not take him. Lovely campus and easily seen from the street. The school is close to public transportation. The campus houses a high school and an elementary school. The grounds can use some work and some more public art installations. The cemetery is gated but plenty of history ardorns the head stones. The indoor exhibit of The Tuskegee Airmen is worth visiting the campus. The stundent art galley is the best. Ask security for accessibility for people with disabilities. Security at the gate will ask of I. D. He is very pleasant and awesome with directions. Most staff/faculty are helpful too. Better to get assistance from the more experienced staff. They are quite knowledgeable. The food is pricey for college life, but the chicken Marsalis, peas & rice, Mac & cheese and green beans with show string beans cut carrots was a tasty pleasant delight. The logistics of the buildings are identified in letter quadrants to help navigate your way through the buildings. For example 1B 106 would be on the 1st floor in the "B" section. If I could give this institution zero stars I would be. Don’t waste your time with GCC, they will waste your time and money without any doubt in my mind. Don’t fall for the “it’s a beautiful campus” thing, because for example the nursing program is going downhill according to some alumni I’ve spoken to, who are now clinical instructors. I would never even refer to this place as a school let alone a college. Being a transfer student, I have experience with other more legitimate schools and universities. Professors will tell you they are there to help, but seem somehow to make themselves as inaccessible as possible. I wouldn’t recommend their nursing program to anyone.Joe Cooper

As F-1 visa international student, I would say that ASA College is a great place for our educational and career goals. Professors are responsive and very collaborative as well as helpful. During my education in ASA College I was able to make friends with students from different parts of world. The most of them are my lifetime friends now. Classes are not too big. Therefore, providing a tremendous opportunity to study and excel your knowledge and/or skills. I would recommend international students to study in ASA College if they want to be ready to compete within existing job market and get a job they are looking for. One of the benefits of ASA College is providing an internship opportunity. My internship experience in engineering company was extremely interesting and fulfilling where I gained a valuable and measurable work experience. Coming from a foreign country, ASA gave me the opportunity and platform to really become a great version of myself and for that I'll be forever grateful. I've had so many good experiences in this school, the professors are amazing and the support for the student activities are wonderful beyond belief. The diversity, location and career services are only a few of their many great aspects. I was able to get a job opportunity at a very prestigious organization using the skills learned at ASA. ASA College gave me the opportunity to get my first degree in Medical Assisting in the USA, and also to gain useful experience through work in the admission office. That was even more convenient for me to have school and work in the same building. The professors were very accessible, understanding and always ready to assist with any help or piece of advice. I will never forget them. Good thing is that every student have their advisor to help them with academic issues. The most helpful department at ASA College turned out to be the Career Services which assisted me with my first interview preparation. The college has won multiple awards from the CUNY system as well as other institutions for its ability to grant Associate's Degrees at an impressive rate and to foster continuing education at senior colleges. With a respectable teacher-to-student ratio, significant public and private funding, and a central location in New York City, the learning experience has been covered by many publications and studied by experts. However, BMCC also suffers from a large rise in remedial education, lack of freshman retention, and overcrowding. Due to its larger base of capital compared to most other two-year colleges, expansion of new campuses during the rebuilding of Fiterman Hall was possible. Several trailers are still used as classrooms to this day in order to help expand capacity. Internal programs have also been created or expanded to help with academic advisement, provide online access for registration, transferring to other colleges, and job placement. A diverse student base, some of whom had immigrated to America shortly before enrolling, also makes tailoring a viable solution difficult. Improving the retention and graduation rate as well as the increased financial and academic burdens of a remedial program still remain a considerable problem. The Center for Career Development (CCD) provides students with comprehensive career planning services. Its professional career counselors assist students in making informed decisions about an area of study; research occupations that match their personal interests; write a resume; practice interviewing, and help them prepare as candidates for internships and employment. Students also learn to clarify their career goals, develop effective communication and interpersonal skills, conduct job searches, and develop a digital portfolio for employers to view as evidence of their skills, accomplishments and professional qualifications. edit, update: ended up coming to the conclusion that because all of this uncertanty and my bad living situation I am dropping out, I did all I could, was not met halfway by anone but professors unless I begged here. do not go here if you're poor. Just, no. I can't take it anymore. I've tried to explain my situation to this school multiple times, and I'm left to struggle on my own. I am starving, housing insecure, financially unstable, and unable to make ot to class or properly study because of financial struggle, inability to be alone a place quiet to study because they won't house, and depression. In the end they want to fail you out so you can pay them fees later, I guarantee. I'lll gladly take my review down if it's actually a thing they decide they really want to help me with, only after I have been actually helped, and not as in, money grant to help my situation I never recieve, or new housing program email I apply for and am swiftly rejected because I am not enrolled just enough just yet due to circumstances that are once again not entirely my fault because when I applied here I intended to be taking 16 credits not 7. Very diverse. You can see all kind of people over here. Most of the students and staff are friendly. Environment is good. Friendly neighborhood. If you are hungry, you can find all types of food around the building. It has 26000 student. It also has a big cafeteria, big library, big quiet study place for study and a lot more . I am an alumni from this school and my two years spent were memorable and enjoyable. I am originally from NYC so going upstate for school was a drastic change in environment and people. The staff are very friendly and helpful and made me feel comfortable in the change of environment. My advisor helped me choose my classes and helped me through personal and educational challenges I faced which helped me alot. The food does need some change but it was not the worst thing. I enjoyed dorm life at SUNY Delhi but recommend they install air conditioners as it tends to be warm in summer and spring time. I mostly enjoyed the classes, my professors were very knowledgable in their fields and were very helpful in making sure I understood every topic. The resources on campus are worth going to because they do help. I made many friends and connections through joining clubs and going to events. I was even President and co-founder of a two different clubs. Definitely recommend this school if you are looking to get a good education and experience dorm life away from the city. My daughter just finished her first semester. Overall, I would not recommend this school. While the campus is beautiful, the accommodations are extremely unsanitary. The drug culture is highly prevalent and it doesn't appear as if it's being monitored. The sororities still practice hazing for membership. After they use and abuse their pledges, they accept little to no new members. Unfortunately, my daughter had a professor who was clearly unapologetically rascist. I've never, in all my schooling, had a professor grade every paper with a personal insult attached. I highly regret enrolling my daughter in this school. From what I've witnessed, the majority of the academics (with exception of that professor) are decent. At best I would suggest if your not in the veterinary program or in the private pay dorm (Catskill) it's best to live off campus.joangelica 80

I went on a tour today for this school and from everything that I heard they have everything I needed in a school. They allow freshman’s to have cars on campus for a $168 fee (that covers the whole year). They allow you to stay on campus all four years of college and have specific dorms for upperclassman like juniors and seniors. The school and view is beautiful. The school it’s self seems to have a great support system. Everyone seemed friendly and welcoming. The food tasted good from my experience. I recommend this school for anyone in New York looking to go away from home but still be in their home state. I enjoyed my tour here and hope to enjoy my four years here.Bryanna Jordan

WORST.SCHOOL.EVER!! I hope they close down for good VERY SOON! There's no motivation or inspiration at all in this school whatsoever. The counselors and teachers are horrendous!! For every 5 teachers there, only 1 teacher is decent! They hold back their students far too long from achieving their true potential and don't even get me started on the atrocious time consuming and full of adversity enrollment process!! If you're still stuck taking a remedial/non credit class; instead of being able to register online LIKE IT SHOULD BE FOR EVERY STUDENT, you're instead forced to go all the way to Valhalla to register for classes EVERY semester until you've passed ALL their pointless non credited classes! Very excruciating and appalling for any student! Their counselors are always putting down students, not one can potentially uplift you when it comes to succeeding in school. This school is entirely all a scam. They will give you classes that do not pertain to your major and leave the big fat F on your transcript if you fail it, even if you're a Math and Science student that was given a social worker class that has absolutely nothing to do with your program!!!Toki Sing

Miserable place. Professors don’t care. They have people who don’t speak English teaching the math department. Those in the financial building are miserable, uninformative and rude. Nobody communicates!! Financial Tells you one thing and the counselors say something different. Totally unorganized and made my college experience a miserable one. They prioritize minorities and even questioned me on why I’m not on financial aid. Teachers WILL fail you if you don’t agree with their POLITICAL views. Community college is supposed to be affordable, but they manage to shake you down for every little penny. I was pretty skeptical about going back to school during this plandemic and now that I’m back in school, I wish I would’ve saved my money. The website says lab classes will be conducted online but it’s actually remote. If you want to pay full tuition for a partial education, then this is the place for you. The people who work in the administrative building specifically the Bursar’s office don’t care. The administrative building is physically closed so the only way to communicate is via email. I have been emailing the manager of the Bursar’s office, Marcia, for weeks to no avail. No one cares, they just want your money. A money sucking machine.Schneia Robinson

Poor quality school. Went here for a semester, the students are conceded, very self-absorbed and focused on how smart they think they are. They identified their self-worth and level of intelligence by the grades they got, but then they get test and assignment answers from their dormmates and roommates. Rather comical. The professors are not much better. Some have good intentions, but the school apparently doesn't pay them well, so many work in other institutions. The professors that are permanently anchored at the school treat the other professors and students like crap. So the classes and materials are usually disorganized and grading is terrible. The testing material usually doesn't reflect the in-class work. When you try to speak with the professors, they just give you a blank stare, as if they didn't write the tests. If you try to complain to the chair, dean, or administrators, they simply dismiss you as if you're lazy and not doing the work. For nearly $40,000 per year I expected better. I also thought that they would have some integrity or character being that it is a religious institution. Not so. Really not worth the money. They keep the tuition high in order to appear as though they have a quality institution, but they really don't. So they try to give a lot of scholarships and grant to try getting students to enroll that way. But that strains their budget so they can't get good equipment and materials for classes and they can't get quality professors and staff because they can't afford to pay them. The people that are there that may have good ideas or good intentions are too afraid to speak up because they're afraid of getting fired. Their professor turnover rate is horrible. It seems that the only people that they can get are nerds that got high degrees but really can't explain why or how. And since they never learned to socialize, they really can't explain even the stuff they do know, then they get frustrated why students don't understand the material. So even though the professors and administrators probably know that students simply copy answers and have no clue about what they are doing, it's overlooked because as long as the students are getting good grades no one will complain. This becomes troublesome when students try to get into higher education, their test scores suck, so they have to work tirelessly and pay a bunch of extra cash for preparatory courses just to get by. Then the school professors and administrators take the credit. The students don't seem to know any better and since many of their parents are wealthy, it becomes all about the money. I say save your money and go to a state school, it will probably be the same quality. Or if you want to spend the money, at least go to a better school. This place costs about the same as the Ivy Leagues. The one thing that it seems to have going for it is that their name will help you get into other religious institutions. I give them two stars here but they really do not deserve it because they waste your time and money and give you nothing really measurable in return. Almost unilaterally, professors truly care for you and your future. Most staff do what they can to help, too. The Madden School of Business is ranked highly for a reason. Overall, the college is a little more liberal arts than I prefer, but they transferred in my military experience and prior business school credits better than anyone else. Unfortunately, my GI Bill ran out of time, so I have to pay out of pocket, now. Very not cheap! And I didn't even know that I could have gotten financial aid (in addition to the GI Bill) until just recently, so I missed out on many semesters of aid. Note: Le Moyne seems to be handling the pandemic crisis fairly well. I don't think I would be able to come up with a better way. One challenge, though, is the WiFi and cell reception in their library. In order to attend classes virtually, getting on Zoom can be difficult with unreliable/no connection to the outside world.Justin Carhart

DONT GO HERE. I just graduated and I cannot express the lack of communication that campus life and leadership possesses as well as head of departments. Le Moyne is really going downhill. There is no social life at all, food is beyond awful, academics are ok. There are a few good professors at Le Moyne. But other than that Le Moyne is all about playing games, if you’re not someone’s “favorite” then good luck trying to get anything done. All Le Moyne will give you is four years of jumping through hoops. Please, take this review seriously, choose a better school.Angela Boschetti

THIS IS THE WORST SCHOOL IN HISTORY OF SCHOOLS!!! PLEASE SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!! If I could give it zero stars I would. This has absolutely been the worst experience I have ever encountered for school. When you need help and try to reach out for assistance no one replies back to your phone calls nor emails. But some how, some way they know how to get in touch with you to get a payment every month! Forget about admission. They sit you down and tell you all these good things about the school and how long the program is for but forget to mention once your course is completed you still have to take an additional 5 week course to take your exit then your allowed to sit for your NCLEX! Oh and another thing. If you think for a second they'll let you see you grade for the exam forget about it. Once you take an exam it literally takes about 2 weeks of waiting to get your score, and if you wait on MS. Provost for your grade it will take at least 4 weeks and don't think about calling or emailing her. She's allergic to responding back to people. When asked if you can see what you got wrong she will say "wE aReNt aLlOwEd tO sHoW yOu yOuR eXam, yOuR tEsT iS pRiVaTe" like huh?? IT'S MINES! So what they do is give you the top 5 question majority of the class got wrong and that's it. The reason why I passed was because I got a tutor and paid a lot of money for it. This school constantly changes it's rule to better themselves and get more money. I really wished I attended another school because the way they do things here is ridiculous!!!! The only class where I enjoyed learning and the teachers were amazing and really cared about us understanding the course was Mr. Ramdat (mental health) and Ms. Molina (ob/peds). They should teach at universities not this place.Moriah Long

I had the opportunity to attend the school for my LPN and RN. The LPN program I will give them a 3/5. The RN program a 2/5. The school is not consistent in anything. They give out term schedules the day prior and then the day the term starts it’s been changed but no one has up dated the online schedule or informed students. Forget ever getting in contact with anyone at this school unless you owe them money, then all of a sudden the phone email etc work. 1/2 the teachers have DISGUSTING, UNPROFESSIONAL attitudes. Don’t even bother trying to follow your syllabus because “that’s just up there I don’t follow that I do my own thing”, as stated by an RN teacher. Or famous quote they love “WHEN YOU ARE A REAL NURSE……” in regards to the LPNs which is wow because most of us attended JC for the LPN so maybe we need our money back since we aren’t “REAL NURSEs”.. your classes will be from 7a-330/4p Mon-Fri.. they like to make a lot of comments about “you can’t pass my class if you are working”.. Every school has its good and bad but be aware of what you sign up for. The cost of this school is very high and you will have to pay for parking each term(it’s first come first serve and about 80+\- spots) or risk getting hit by a car walking if you live in NY add tolls and gas and when you have clinicals you may need to pay for parking. If you come here honestly I would only recommend there LPN program, it’s tolerable. But the RN if you choose to attend try to transfer in as many classes as you can and save up a lot of money prior to starting. Also practice holding your breath because a lot of these instructors are “Vile”N R

I can honestly say that I am super happy I chose Jersey College. They have a team of amazing instructors, that come in prepared to give you everything, all the resources you need to be successful in the program. I am honored to soon be a graduate. It took a lot of hard work, and studying but I could not have done it without the help of my theory and clinical instructors who came In to every class giving their best which made it that much easier for me to give mine. If I had to choose again I would pick Jersey College everytime.Georrina Lampley
