The only reason ppl go here and are willing to grossly pay for an education is the location. I went to school here and will say it is far overpriced for the education you are given. Some staff are great and really care about the education they are providing. Others just read off a powerpoint and have no interest except for a paycheck. Career services ask if you want to be reached out to and say they will help but its not in their interest. At the NYC campus the administrative and financial aid staff are blatantly rudeRyan Ryan

Pace is expensive, doesn't help the students getting internships and when the students get one on their own, Pace takes the credit. After graduating, the students don't get a job. One of their alumni just got a good job and due to she owes money, they don't give her transcripts and are retaining her title. Is not possible for Pace to help when the students really need help? This is a good school. However, the quality is almost identical to the CUNY school I attended before coming here that costed significantly less. Additionally, the lack of diversity (granted, because of how this is a private school) is also lacking. At one time, the tuition for a full-time evening student was less than that for daytime, which made sense since there was no access to many of the daytime nine-to-five services. Love the QC CUNY campus along with free QC Red/CUNY black shuttle bus for students that has certain pick and drop off points . I really can’t explain what I went through with the staff, so unprofessional and the attitude is horrible I always try to be as nice as possible but the way they treat people is awful. They literally screamed at my mom who does not speak any English for not having her vaccine card with her although she had picture of the vaccine but her phone was dead they yelled at her and did not try to help her enter the building at all. Once I came and approach them they was talking to me with awful attitude and yelling at me!!!!! although I respect the policy but they always could help in situation like this making everything 10X harder and unprofessional behaviour. One of its kinda school Historic place as it is more than 100 year old school CUNY’S most iconic campus so far As building is quite old, construction is going on still it’s worth taking a walk here Lush green gardens and beautiful library plus awesome walkways and old concert hall and other buildings. If I could, I would easily give York a ZERO RATING! NOTHING against the professors I’ve come across, but the school, policy and registrar/bursar staff and policy are ridiculous. I have been charged, during the pandemic I might add FULL. I clearly withdrew from summer classes and was literally ONE day passed the 100% refund date. After, I spoke continuously with bursar who kept sending me back to registrar. ALL professors assisted in submitting documentation showing I DID NOT CONTINUE in the ONLINE courses. Although I submitted required, and accurate paperwork documenting the WHY I could not complete the summer session, this greedy school is charging me ONE HUNDRED PERCENT for courses that their own records reflect that u withdrew from. Again, let me reiterate this was at the time of a Pandemic. I am now not able to register or do anything until this balance is paid. I think this school is deplorable, too much of the staff is unprofessional and not helpful At all! They’re dismissive and there is never any considerations or flexibility offered. If you can, avoid this school. Majority of the staff are unprofessional, lazy and do not seem to take their job seriously. Imagine emailing your professor and days, or even up to week plus passes by with no response. Some professors to avoid, Darrell Morris- extremely unprofessional acts as if he's paying us to be there and not the other way around. Lovely campus and easily seen from the street. The school is close to public transportation. The campus houses a high school and an elementary school. The grounds can use some work and some more public art installations. The cemetery is gated but plenty of history ardorns the head stones. The indoor exhibit of The Tuskegee Airmen is worth visiting the campus. The stundent art galley is the best. Ask security for accessibility for people with disabilities. Security at the gate will ask of I. D. He is very pleasant and awesome with directions. Most staff/faculty are helpful too. Better to get assistance from the more experienced staff. They are quite knowledgeable. The food is pricey for college life, but the chicken Marsalis, peas & rice, Mac & cheese and green beans with show string beans cut carrots was a tasty pleasant delight. The logistics of the buildings are identified in letter quadrants to help navigate your way through the buildings. For example 1B 106 would be on the 1st floor in the "B" section. As F-1 visa international student, I would say that ASA College is a great place for our educational and career goals. Professors are responsive and very collaborative as well as helpful. During my education in ASA College I was able to make friends with students from different parts of world. The most of them are my lifetime friends now. Classes are not too big. Therefore, providing a tremendous opportunity to study and excel your knowledge and/or skills. From the moment I was accepted to a few months later, it’s been nothing but miscommunication, incorrect information, and confirming false details left and right. Name any kind of detail, and they’ve gotten it wrong. Name any kind of procedural, logistical, student experience piece, and there’s conflicting information. The “right hand doesn’t talk to the left” saying doesn’t even begin to describe how dysfunctional this place already is, and classes haven’t even started. When you’re about to go into $120,000+ debt for the rest of your life you’d at least expect the “student success advisor” not to demean you at every turn, or for at least one person to confirm details that are actually true. If you’re considering applying here, go absolutely anywhere else and spare yourself the unbelievably unnecessary headaches and stress. I started going to NYU dental clinic in October 2017 for a dental evaluation and any work that may be needed including one implant on the upper right quadrant which had been missing for several years. Five years and many visits later and I need more work than ever, and we are still nowhere close to replacing the tooth I originally came in for. Now that clinic has broken at least three other teeth that later needed to be removed and I’m now walking around with three missing teeth, and one half-broken-off tooth in need of extraction. With no treatment in the foreseeable future as their students will not even work on my teeth through no fault of my own. I often see ads for how great NYU College of Dentistry implants is, but they don’t tell people that it will take years to actually get one if ever. The students pay hundreds of thousands of dollars for a dental degree at NYU and the school charges patients through insurance and private payments so they can practice but it treats the patients like dental training manikins. It takes weeks and sometimes months just to get an appointment and you have a bunch of follow-up appointments that could the rest of the semester to work on just one tooth. They take my blood pressure before starting a session, which has always been low as I exercise regularly and run 17-20 miles a week but all the damage they caused to my mouth required even more work than before and they wanted me to pay for the damage they caused. This resulted in a spike in blood pressure one time and asked me to leave and see a cardiologist which I did and after a battery of tests was told I was perfectly healthy. However, I refuse to go back to NYU Dental Clinic.Joseph vizzielli

It's the first time to go to dentist in the US and I was kind of nervous but my students were very nice and gentle. And sane students are in charge always you go.(If they graduate then different student will be.) Usually a junior and a senior student are one pair. And it is appreciative price not like super expensive dentists. Treatments may take time since students give you the treatments mostly with supervised the dentist professor only at the beginning or the end so I recommend you if you can be patient and give them enough time. Just one thing, I went here for a filling treatment and I didn’t feel any pain at all and I didn’t know what kind of filling procedure they will give me. Then the senior student gave me TWO anesthesia shots which were UNNECESSARY!! I couldn’t tell my filling was good or not because of numbness around my teeth and mouth so I had to go back one more time to adjust on different day. My mouth was uncomfortable during the period. So it’s better you ask them every time BEFORE they do treatment for your teeth.日福米豪

I have been trying to get an appointment here for over 2 years. Each time I call, I am told different things and that's only if they pick up. I was told by their staff I was indeed a good fit for their disability dental clinic. I was told they don't take medicaid despite it saying it on their own website. When I pointed that out to the receptionist, she snapped at me about how that's not in her control. I was just letting you know so someone could take it off the website if its not true and then people wouldn't call and waste your time asking if you take medicaid. But to add on to that, another receptionist said you DO take medicaid. This place is very confusing and disorganized. I really needed your services and the crazy thing is, I still do! The longer it takes, the more afraid I will be of the dentist. I just wish if you weren't gonna help, You would've been upfront, honest and not let me suffer in pain for a return call that never came. I really had faith in you.Angel Baby

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. My first appointment with doctor Newman I had to wait hours to see her. I was annoyed and frustrated since my husband had to go back to work. After meeting with her, it was worth the wait. She is so extremely knowledgeable, caring, and trustworthy. I was told by 3 surgeons I had a benign case but it should still be removed. I booked my surgery with dr Newman. The day of surgery came and I got some more images that morning. Dr Newman came in the room along with the radiologist. She explained to me that the calcifications that were previously there, she didn’t see anymore. She didn’t think it was necessary to have the surgery anymore. This is an honest doctor. Any other doctor could have easily still done surgery just for the $. If you’re unsure who to use, she is the one. Thank God for doctors like Dr Newman.Jennifer Loconsole

The school has zero organization. It is a hassle to communicate with people who work here. I was going to apply but if they are not organized in the admissions department, which is like the sales department, they won't be organized once you are a student. My experience: after multiple mails and not getting solid answers, Karina Isoton, told me to visit her in her office at the Manhattan campus. I showed up and was surprised when the clerk told me that Karina doesn't work Fridays and she was not in today. I showed her my whole email conversation where Karina literally told me to come today before 3pm. She was not helpful at all. This review is regarding the Women’s health imaging center. My wife and I had such a negative experience today. My wife was scheduled for a Nuchal translucency exam (sonogram) and cell free dna test (blood work) at 830 am. The day prior, she received an appointment confirmation for 9 am. We didn’t think much of it, since it’s only 30 minutes apart. Today, we showed up at 9 am and was prompted to check in on the kiosk. We couldn’t find out appointment and security called the floor and to our surprise, they canceled our appointment because we were a no show at 830. We tried to explained to the manager that our confirmation email states 9 am. She could care less, offered no alternatives and basically said you’re out of luck. We even said that we were willing to wait and if they could squeeze us in. They said NO. I work in healthcare and ironically at NYP. When patients run late for whatever the reason, we understand. I guess this is not the case at the Women’s health imaging center. Our doctor’s office referred us to Carnegie Hill Imaging. We were treat so professionally and they saw us the same day. The sonogram took no more than 10 minutes and the blood work took 5 mins. So basically NYP women’s imaging couldn’t squeeze us in for 15 mins. So much for their motto “stay amazing”.eric li

I had a terrible experience. While the place my have all the latest toys and blinding white lights, their clinical space and the way they treat patients leaves a lot to be desired. I showed up on time and waited 45 minutes — no one came to update me or anything. I had to ask the people at the desk how much longer and they couldn’t tell me. Finally after an hour, someone came to take me into another room with blinding white lights, where I had to sit for another 45 minutes. Again, no update, no water, no nothing. Apparently the staff went home at 5pm so they basically put me in a room and left. Finally the doctor comes in after 1 hr 45 min. So, I waited for 1 hr 45 min for a 15 min appt. The only reason I stayed was because I’d already paid my co-pay. This type of patient treatment is unacceptable. I did get a vague apology from the doctor about the wait at the very end of the appt. Next time I will pay my co-pay after my appt so I can leave without losing money the next time I’m treated badly.A.D. Bradford

Beautiful building, TERRIBLE clinical staff. Each time I've been admitted here (2 times) I've cried my eyes out & regretted it!!!! OB staff are really not in tune with the patients & their needs. I was always made to feel as though I was bothering staff. If I asked for help to the restroom or water, or pain meds. It was ALWAYS met with attitude and then a long wait time. I was induced by a VERY impatient Dr. Who went against EVERYTHING I requested & ended up having an unnecessary c section. "I'm sorry" was the only explanation she could offer. It was the absolutely worst experience ever!!!! On top of COUNTLESS other mishaps which occurred I will simply say…. Metropolitan College of New York is one of the best hidden secrets for higher learning. As a graduate of MCNY with a Bachelors in Business Administration, I learned so much from my professors. They took the time to explain what they wanted from their students. We met afterwards if I didn't understand something and they even took the time to set up tutoring sessions for their students. I would recommend MCNY to anyone who is looking to get their under graduate or graduate degree. The class schedules are set up for busy adults who work and/or run their own businesses and need flexibility to get the education they need to succeed. MCNY is an exceptional college with knowledgeable faculty and staff. The school has a unique approach on how it caters to their students educational experience. I benefited from one on one sessions with my CA instructor who took time to understand me and listen to my ideas. He offered guidance and openly shared his experiences with the class. He wanted us to understand that not matter the circumstances to continue learning and researching our fields. Having such a great liberal arts college in the City of New York is exceptional. For someone going back to school after a 20 year hiatus, Columbia College has been absolutely delightful to work with from the first call to getting through the first course. I know this school from my favorite tv show “ gossip girl” but this school is way more important and fun and educated then the other colleges in New York like NYU I don’t like that bc every one who goes there think their better than every one else and they are really not!!deannaa life

Weill Cornell is supposed to be a “great” hospital. I’d hate to visit a “bad” hospital. I dropped off a relative for a ambulatory procedure this morning. Covid protocols didn’t allow me to stay. They asked me to leave my phone number with the surgeon and the nurse (Joyce), and they said I’d get two calls – first from the surgeon and second from a discharging nurse. They told me my relative would be done in a few hours. The surgeon called a few hours later and said the procedure went well and a nurse would call me when my relative was ready to be picked up. So I have no issues with him. A few hours later, someone from the hospital called another relative of mine (presumably they had this relative’s number on file). This relative was not involved, so she just informed me about the hospital’s call. Looks like Joyce did not pass on my information to the surgical/discharge team. Or if she did, the team did not see the written number and checked their computer file instead, thus calling the wrong person. Thinking that my relative was ready to be picked up, I rushed over to the hospital only to be informed by Kaitlyn (?), the nurse who called the wrong relative, that I would have to wait. I’ve waited outside the hospital now for several hours with no information about when my relative will be ready for pick up. Weill Cornell needs to tighten up its procedures or it will get the reputation of being a bad hospital instead of a great one!Ambroz Ferrena

I'm here today for a visit with my Endocrinologist. This location is 1305 York Avenue for Weill Cornell Medicine. Masks are still required when you are in this building and they still follow social distancing guidelines. My doctor Dr. Melissa Katz is my Endocrinologist. She is knowledgeable, kind and patient. When you have an appointment your wait time is always minimal. My visits here are enjoyable! The exam rooms are very clean and the med techs in the lab, Ruth & Antonia, work quickly and efficiently.
