Great school for engineering and decent for nursing. Business school will depend on your work and the professors you choose(from 1-4 ⭐️). The support sucks. Try calling financial aid or student accounts and you know how living in purgatory feels like. One hour of waiting on the line is typical and if you wanna use the outdated mymav website to get help without calling them, good luck 😉 The number in the picture below belongs to student accounts department who will drop you from all your classes when u owe money so you need speed dealing with them. I suggest you’ll go there physically even if you’re infected with Covid19 as you have a better chance of reaching them in person. And the pictures following the call are from when i went to student accounts in person and the line for service goes into a second building. If I could give this university a zero star, I would do it. As an international student, I have millions of terrible experiences with this university. The graduate school and the international students office have been really really rude. They will try to frustrate you using any way they could. Also, the insurance requirement for international students have been so unfair. They will charge you lots lots of money for the insurance for the summer time even though you are not enrolled in any classes during the summer. Also, the staff working in the graduate school have been so rude and know very little. Some of the graduate and undergraduate classes have been so meaningless and do not worth the money.yaqing cao

Atm a lot of construction is going around the university. Either adding new school building, dinning areas, or apartments around the school. The gym is great, great gym equipment, indoor track, and classes that you can sign up for if you do not like working out alone. Building are easy to locate but if you have trouble finding them people will be nice to direct to the correct locations. Baylor is an amazing school. For a few reviews before me we are not all "rich kids wanting to blow daddy's money" or "rude". I personally have a bad background that would not match the first statement. I am not rich. I am blessed to be in this university thanks to scholarships and my hard working mother. Baylor itself is a blessing. Its a rigorous school BUT very well worth it. I love being part of the Baylor community. Its a beautiful campus filled with loving people. Its not "perfect" because nothing is. There will be a few issues like yes there are some kids who don't care and my be rude or blow things off but really if you are a part of it you will see the majority of the campus and the people here are more than amazing and loving. This is a fantastic university for the liberal arts. I have talked to people from other universities and to those that have come to visit me at college, and all of them see a difference in the student body. There is just a different atmosphere. All the people are kind and welcoming and always willing to help in times of need. The professors are nationally ranked and are not only outstanding in their fields of study, but wonderful people as well. Even if you're not looking to go to college, its a beautiful campus to just walk around in. It's almost like a park in some ways. Just give it a visit and I promise you'll be hooked! I loved my time as I attended Baylor for undergrad, and grad school (2008-2015). The campus has changed so much since i first step foot in 2008 (all for the better). Baylor (and Waco) is in a resurgence/growth period. Its an awesome time for Baylor and Waco. I loved my time there even though I'm not religious (agnostic/theist). Great people (students and especially faculty), and community. There was a reason why I came back to get my masters at Baylor. They helped me get through some rough times, and i am better for it now. UPDATE: I was told that career services had been developed since 2014 so I began my masters here… they only changed the name of the website. They did get a new president which I have no earthly idea what he has done because this is the biggest waste of money. You still get the same answer in career services or any department there, “go check online.” It is sad for the great professors here that all the current student reviews mentioned. They deserve better and so do alumni. Past post (2014) The reason I gave it two stars is strictly because of the good professors there. As alumni I will even admit, this school has absolutely nothing else going for it. They have untrained teenage kids handling all your paperwork with HORRIFIC customer service. The most common phrase you hear when you interrupt their cellphone time by asking them a question is, it's online. The career services department is very underdeveloped, do not expect assistance finding a career after graduation. The most you will get is help developing a Tarleton version of linkedin. Honestly, the school is seemingly unorganized and I feel like the dining hall faculty are more friendly to the students rather than faculty who work in the administration parts of the school itself. Parts such as Advising services, housing, or Financial aid for example. (Although not all faculty of course but it seems to be more rude staff than you'd think). Some students have a problem with parking, resulting in parking in no parking zones. The website wasn't helpful to me at all when I was registering. They make you watch videos instead of putting steps on the same page. Rates for housing is pretty ridiculous especially since the meal plan is separate. In my opinion I feel that if the housing rates is going to be 3,000+ they should at least give you the meal plan instead of having to pay a extra 2,000 for that. I don't feel like the school or administration or whatever you want to call it are trying to be very helpful of anything so I don't really feel very secure I should say.BRangerBot

I am considered a distance learner here at the satellite campus in Waco Tx… I completed my bachelor's in criminal justice August 2011 I enjoyed the curriculum so much & my instructors that I have returned to complete my master's degree here, set to graduate December 2017 (graduated May 2018 with Masters of Criminal Justice)… for those students who say they did not or have not had a pleasant experience I do not possibly understand why, the staff is always helpful & if not ask for a supervisor….education at a university level is not handed to you it is a must that one grasp a understanding of their learning environment & set realistic goals! buses and parking are nightmares here. No parking or you will have to pay everytime you park including weekend whereas other schools often free. Buses always late and full. The school not even tried to get more buses. Also, there is 40mins wait between 2 buses. Finally, unequal opportunity for on cambus job or help. We came to many departments and asked for help but they rarely tried to solve but kept saying we could not do anything. And we came back multiple time and the other did help us out. I enjoyed my time at UNT, made some great friends, and I have good memories. However, this University is not longer a place of higher education but a political activist training ground. I never thought that I’d see the day that The First Amendment would not be honored at UNT, but that is what has happened. And to think I have a degree in Criminal Justice from there is similar to being trained as an EMT by Dr. Kevorkian. The Grad program is a joke. I've never met more people incompetent of doing their job. The undergrad school should conduct training with the grad school to get them up to par. Because they dropped the ball, I now get stuck with their issues. Also the elderly lady working in billing should take a phone etiquette class. We are in 2022. There shouldn't be this many issues consistently happening. Yet, the undergrad side was on top of every single aspect. This school is literally the worst, they take all day in the advising office and registration office. They will have one or two people helping more than 20 people and you would think that would make them have a sense of urgency but they do not. They all act as if they don’t feel like helping you and move so damn slow. I received 2 parking tickets during the time I have attended this school because two hours in a meter is not even enough. The best advisor is Shannon, the rest of them act like they don’t care and will not give you any guidance when your new to college, some will over talk you and not even pay attention or listen to what you are saying to them. This school will literally make you not want to attend college at all with how difficult they make the process. I was suppose to be taking classes here last year but wasn't able to log in. I had a meeting and asked for help and she said she couldn't help me for some reason…I ended up texting & emailing people for help but they eighter didn't reply or said they were going to help me but then ended up not communicating back. I managed to call tec support and they said website was down. Few days later they called me & said they were going to put me on a list and since then I haven't heard anything. I feel like putting a bad review I’m currently trying to see a councilor here at El Centro I came Thursday before 5pm and they told me it was closed but on the website they close at 5pm. Come to find out today a staff member told me they closed an hour early because they were having a spring break party. Today I’m trying to speak to an advisor I’m the only one here sitting in the lobby still waiting for someone to help me. I used to love this school but honestly service has gone down the drain. Good school. Dr. Haskins is a great teacher for the cisco CCNA certification course. All the material is provided. However, I feel as if the course is a little rushed. I understand the school is accelerated learning, but 8 chapters a week with only hearing lecture on 4 of said chapters is a lot for people who have jobs outside of school. I am almost done with my time here and I would recommend this school for those wanting to learn and possibly start a career in IT. I'm currently having one of the worst experiences ever! I was completely unaware of being enrolled in online classes once the pandemic started. I never spoke with anyone or confirmed this was ok. I specifically chose on campus classes due my struggle with specific subjects. I was unaware until an instructor contacted me. I emailed advising and was removed from the class I was still charged and a hold was put on my account. I have never talked to or discussed classes with anyone for the fall and i am also scheduled and charged for those classes as well. Now i'm told i have to file an appeal to try to have the balance and the hold removed and i cant remove the fall classes until the balance is cleared. Every time I speak with anyone i'm forwarded to someone or a dept. that cant help or explain!Christi Chavis

While I'd love to give a better review, I have to be honest. If you are utilizing veteran services, prepare for a ridiculous amount of wait time. There's never anyone online via chat and when you call if someone answers, it becomes a series of transference to different people or "I'll have someone contact you." This poses an issue as a current student attempting to be successful in class. I am finding it impossible to get a return address for a delivery I received containing 2 bottles of your CBD oil and 2 packets of the CBD gummy bears which was delivered to me by Hermes. I initially wanted to cancel the order but was informed that I could not. I did not realise the total price of these items and then my shock at finding out I was calling USA as I am in Scotland UK. Dr.George was the best instructor ive ever had LET ME TELL YOU! i have never enjoyed school and never made above a B plus but after taking my first module with him i past all my first 3 classes with a perfect score of 100. The only reason I placed 2 stars is because the dean and the man who enrolled us was great. But other than that,the reviews for this school is spot on. They care only about money. After financial aid,I was told I still needed to pay 221.00 a month or my daughter would be kicked out. The lady who assisted with FA couldn't care less about anyone who goes to this school. And don't have colored hair either,they'll make you change it. When my daughter could not log in to the online course,no one bothered to help or contact us. When researching schools and you read “for-profit” as Concordes main description- believe it. I was accepted into the dental hygiene program and was asked to put a down payment of an amount that was almost 5x my rent. I was considered an “independent student.” (no financial help from family) As soon as I communicated the amount was not doable the school redacted my acceptance and gave my spot to someone else… so before you put all your time, money, and effort into this school-don’t. I cannot speak for the program itself and I’ve heard nothing but great things about the instructor… but at the end of the day that doesn’t matter if Concorde is “for-profit” and not for education.Emilee Gestes

Please do not go to this school. The instructors are very disrespectful and do not teach anything. The purpose is to fail you so that you can pay again since you have to retake the whole semester. The first term had a 30 students class and it went down to like 12 of us. This term everyone is failing so far because the term 2 teacher is random and does not go by the book.There are around 5 students in term 5 which is the last term and most of them have repeated at least one term. I am looking into other programs. Stay away, it is easy to get into the program, but you won't learn anything and NCLEX passing rates are low according to the instructors.Kukita Arocha

From the initial call from Jessica to start your road to rehab. To working with each of the amazing PT staff members Dr.Firth, Dr.Hay, Robert, Lindsey, Madie, Dan and Jon. From the moment you walk through the door you truly have a customized treatment and all about you experience. They have a “perfect dance” as I like to say. Came to Dr Anderson for a consult for a revision a previous surgeon did. I had a terrible complication with my last group of surgeons. I was left feeling disfigured and embarrassed about my body. Dr Anderson sat down with me for almost two hours going over EVERYTHING. Answered all of my questions and concerns. Not once did he make me feel rushed. I can't say enough good things about his staff and nurses. Everyone was wonderful and so very helpful. I felt like an actual person not just a number. Dr Anderson was a wonderful doctor. He was very caring and kind, something you don't find to often in doctors. He did a great job on fixing my face after having cancer surgery. He is on time, no long waits in his office. He also has a great sense of humor and cares about his patients.Gale Sober

While the staff in the office are nice as well as the doctors the most important thing is how you come out of surgery. I used Dr. Warner for a total joint replacement and unfortunately was worse off after the surgery than before. He was kind and attentive and tried multiple procedures before moving to surgery (steroids, jaw exercises, stem cell, all things i paid for), but after the surgery I was being told to believe that the problem was mental. I was told several times that I just needed to relax and that everything was OK it wasn’t until I went to get a second opinion months after being in pain that I was able to prove to him that something wasn’t right. I have been in so much pain since the surgery, the shifts in my jaw and the misalignment of my teeth where I didn’t have it before causes problems daily when I eat. They unfortunately made a lot of mistakes leading up to my surgery. They did not use custom prosthesis instead they use stock joints. That in and of itself is a problem when your face is smaller, and the joint itself has no stop so it pinches your ear and causes severe nerve damage. They also did not pay attention to me when I asked whether or not this surgery on my left jaw may effect or cause problems to my right (after reading content that it could). I was told no however I now have severe degeneration on my right jaw as a result of the pulling from my left. I also now have Facial appearance or bite changes due to resorption of the temporomandibular joint. If they would have listen to me instead of trying to tell me that it was my problem in my head, I would have trusted this medical office And continue trying to treat the pain and deformation happening in my face. But because they didn’t acknowledge that the pain was real until after I proved it to them I could no longer trust their care. I have suffered through years of pain, it got worse after 2014 when I had this surgery with Dr. Warner and now have severe pain and deterioration in the right side. I am seeing Dr. Wolford; will have to have another surgery to correct last one, praying i finally get some relief in 2022. Warning do not do total joint replacement no matter how much pain you’re in if you haven’t done it before. Walked into my appointment with DR Kao being unsure about the implant procedure. Heard some horror stories from a few people trying to talk me out of it. I was met with a friendly staff, which helped keep my blood pressure down. Dr Kao answered all my concerns, which made me feel more comfortable making a decision. Callie their Implant Coordinator also gave me great information and helped work me in sooner than expected. I walked out committing to oral surgery with a smile on my face.Clinton Bush

I just called to make an appointment for two of my dogs and Abby who had answered the phone, was extremely rude, short, condescending, and unaccommodating. Even though I live in the Clearfork area, I refuse to ever go to this location ever again. First of all, I was put on hold when I initially called and I was in the middle of taking care of my patients when they took me off hold (I am a dentist). They should just let the phone go straight to voicemail if you intend to put the client/patient on hold. Second of all, because I was trying to get both dogs scheduled at the same time while I was answering last minute questions from my dental assistants, I got confused on which dog she was scheduling. She caught an attitude with me and said "we are already done with him" in a condescending tone. I finally got my second dog scheduled, and she just hung up on me when all I did was be kind to her and said thank you after all that. She clearly does not care for people let alone dogs. I work in the healthcare field so I know exactly how a front desk person needs to answer the phone. I am utterly disturbed that this clinic would hire her to have any interaction with people. Also, I just called the clinic again to cancel my appointments in which Abby answered again. She was just as rude and hung up the phone after I cancelled, not even asking, if something was wrong or if I needed to reschedule.Airy Choi

I got so much peace of mind knowing that my dog and cat will be well cared for at this Banefield location. I can't remember the Vets name but when I took my dog and cat in for their updated prevention care, she noticed the ear wax on one side of my dogs ear was increased and I took my dog to another Banefield location for this issue prior and the other location just told me he needed and irrigation. This vet offered me to have the wax substance to be looked at under the microscope to see if it was an infection and surely enough it was. I felt bad that he was living with this infection because I was concerned about it before and I took him in for it. I didn't even mention this to the lady vet on 4/8 she was so thorough with her exam she caught it and I am so thankful and glad he is getting treated. Thank you!Ashley Harvey

I only wish my primary care physician provided half of the personal attention that Dr. Cousins has provided my mom’s dog, which I’ve been taking care of. Dr. Cousins has done such an outstanding job that I will cut ties with VCA, where I currently go to for my dog’s veterinarian needs, and go only to him. Of notable mention is the front office staff who has assisted me and treated me as if I have been going to them for years, even though I haven’t. I strongly recommend this particular Banfield site and can’t speak highly enough of the super high quality level of service they provide. This is my 5th visit to Mira Vista. The ladies in the front are polite, helpful and efficient. Called back to where "the magic" happens, is equally as good. I've had 3 different technicians who prep for the doctor (thank you Albert). Each is professional, polite, and so kind. As they work, they have a super way of relaxing me while preparing me. Dr. Richardson is the most professional! As he works his brand of magic i can say my 5 surgeries leave very little scarring. I received a call from a LaserAway representative on Friday, 10/14 detailing the promotions currently being offered. I was told that I had a $100 credit but further conversation revealed that this credit could only be used if I bought something. At this time, Friday at 1 pm, I set an appointment with the representative for Sunday, Oct 16 at 3:15 pm. The next day, Saturday, Oct 15 I received another call from a LaserAway representative…again, detailing the promotions I had just the day before declined. I mentioned this to the representative and the conversation ended. When I arrived at my Sunday appointment, I was told that the appointment wasn’t until 3:45 or 4pm. I went and sat in my car to await the appointment. When I came back in the representative told me I had no appointment and they would try to get me in. That did not happen. I left LaserAway with no service having wasted gas and an hour of my time to find out the original appointment was never set. I find it odd that I received two solicitation phone calls and my appointment was not appropriately set. Time is a precious commodity and so is gas. I am appalled and irritated that if I’m not spending money, the level of customer service exponentially decreases. I came in for a Xeomin touch up which takes 5 minutes to do. The least the place could have done is honored that. However, they did not and tried to get me to schedule another time. Over the years, I have spent tens of thousands of dollars with LaserAway. Sadly, I will not be purchasing anything else from LaserAway and will encourage anyone else to do the same.Jessica Young

This place was nice, when I first started going. I loved the staff, and the manager who all had my best interest at heart. Then there were turn overs during my treatments. They lost really good people. Since then I've completed all of my treatments and when I expressed to the new manager that I wasn't happy with the results. It wasn't what I had expected and signed up for. She was very rude, and disrespectful. I asked her about other products. She pursued to tell me they don't do miracles. She had no empathy, consideration, or concern for me, the client. I recommend laseraway, and some of the products, but definitely now weary of this location.Dina Tena

I’ve waited till the last of my tattoo removal sessions to write my review. I would never ever recommend this place to anyone. They’re super unorganized and inconsistent. The staff I met when I first started going were super nice but now a days they definitely lack diversity and you can tell they’re just mean girls. Especially one girl in particular. They promised me a extra appointment after they messed up a different appointment, but when the time came I had to argue for it with them saying “it was never approved”. Then why even tell me I was getting an extra session? I could tell they were just being rude. Stay away from this location.Ev

Sunday following Thanksgiving. Our vet wasn’t open, no way to get in touch. Emergency vet no help at all. Called Banfield just to see. OMG. Back story, our sweetest fur baby had developed cancer fairly recently, but it was a very aggressive type. He was over 14 and it was hitting him faster than we thought. He needed to be out of pain. To stop struggling for every single breath, but we couldn’t find anyplace to help us, until I called Banfield. They said bring him in. Someone would meet us outside (he could no longer walk but still quite big). They took us to a room that was dark and soothing. A room for family. He was placed on a nice, soft pallet. They said stay. Take as long as you need with him. The tech took our information and we told her we wanted him cremated. They do the dogs singly there. We will also receive a plaster of his paw and nose print. A beautiful wooden box. When the tech and wonderful doc came back they made him sleepy first. He was still with us. We told him how much we loved him. The doctor said he was our baby and part of our family. She gave him the other medicine. They let us stay as long as we needed and we were able to leave quietly out the back. They made us feel so respected. The very best of a horrible situation. We have other animals. Thinking about changing vets now. They truly do treat your furry babies as family members here.Nancy Dougherty

As a former employee id like to enlighten people of how their pets are treated here..did your pet go home with bruising? That's most likely because the tech tried many pokes and jabs and blew the pets vein while they dug in it's neck over and over. They say this practice is a fear free vet, yet when a difficult pt comes in…shots are just jabbed in not caring where they go or how deep as long as they get the shot.did they make you reschedule. Your appointment even tho you where in line and only one person at the front and it made u late? The techs in the back just don't want you to make the appointment..they could have come to the front and checked you in.. bottom line..I accepted this job because I love animals and it was my dream to work with them.the staff here could careless I was so disgusted with the staff I had to leave. Please chose wisely when it comes to good care for your petjen dawson

Usually Pretty good with my pup. The last visit bothered me a bit after getting his 1 year vaccinations he had a huge bruise on his neck. I was told it came from one of the shots they placed near the collar bone. However they sent him home with calming medicine they had given him because they indicated that he was kinda feisty…😕… Y’all don’t want to know what I think occurred… In not a very professional and this has never happened soo I’m just going to end right there…Jess *

I would give 10 stars if I could! To start off, the staff here are extremely friendly and my daughter and I both felt like we were their main priority and not "just another patient." We couldn't have asked for a better surgeon than Dr. Green for my daughter's surgery. He is so knowledgeable and spent all the time we needed to answer our questions and to explain what we should expect. I felt so comfortable and confident in his skills that even now that my family has ended up living in Las Vegas, I plan on making the drive when my son needs his wisdom teeth removed to see Dr. Green. He is truly a world class surgeon!Heather Aoun

Everyone that works here is super friendly! I mean they are genuinely kind people. Dr. Green did a great job with my unique oral surgical requirements. And what is crazy is I called on a Monday morning as soon as they opened and they managed to get me in, evaluated, and performed the surgical procedure that day. My appointment was at 10:30 and I was walking out, all fixed up in an hour! 😊. I guess a lot of places could do that, but like I said at the beginning, the difference for me was the attitude of everyone there. So nice!TheEdshemery

Dr Green and the staff were extremely helpful. I have a patient with a severe tooth issue who needs care emergently, but I am not able to get him in to see anyone around town. Dr Green is completely booked and is unable to see anyone for 10 days, but he graciously accepts this patient because he is concerned and wants this patient to receive some stabilization care now. Dr Green is able to add in this patient for today. Amazing help! Thank you,David Hoang
