Baylor is an amazing school. For a few reviews before me we are not all "rich kids wanting to blow daddy's money" or "rude". I personally have a bad background that would not match the first statement. I am not rich. I am blessed to be in this university thanks to scholarships and my hard working mother. Baylor itself is a blessing. Its a rigorous school BUT very well worth it. I love being part of the Baylor community. Its a beautiful campus filled with loving people. Its not "perfect" because nothing is. There will be a few issues like yes there are some kids who don't care and my be rude or blow things off but really if you are a part of it you will see the majority of the campus and the people here are more than amazing and loving. This is a fantastic university for the liberal arts. I have talked to people from other universities and to those that have come to visit me at college, and all of them see a difference in the student body. There is just a different atmosphere. All the people are kind and welcoming and always willing to help in times of need. The professors are nationally ranked and are not only outstanding in their fields of study, but wonderful people as well. Even if you're not looking to go to college, its a beautiful campus to just walk around in. It's almost like a park in some ways. Just give it a visit and I promise you'll be hooked! I loved my time as I attended Baylor for undergrad, and grad school (2008-2015). The campus has changed so much since i first step foot in 2008 (all for the better). Baylor (and Waco) is in a resurgence/growth period. Its an awesome time for Baylor and Waco. I loved my time there even though I'm not religious (agnostic/theist). Great people (students and especially faculty), and community. There was a reason why I came back to get my masters at Baylor. They helped me get through some rough times, and i am better for it now. This college should be closed. It is unorganized from top to bottom, from admissions and transcripts to financial aid and registration. Teachers do not teach anything just say read, they miss lots of classes without any notice to the students. I also feel they do not like Caucasians there! There is no respect for anyone (I'm from another country and I was shocked when I saw this). I was taking the MLT program it was a horror. The teacher Miss Stephanie Bell does not teach anything at all and will not answer any questions u less you make an appointment. How rediculous is that? You can't ask I question in her sorry excuse for a lecture where she gets paid to read straight from the textbook! The whole class had very poor grades, no one was passing this class. But in the middle of the semester magicly the students had the answers to all the test I assume Miss Bell gave the students the answers to the tests and exams because she was in a bad situation. Of course, no one gave me the answers because I am white. This college is awful I left it and am very happy. This is a garbage hole it needs to be closed.Maryna Klochko

If I could give this place negative stars, I absolutely would. I was treated POORLY. I can't think of a worse word to use. The absolute worst professors, doubt any of them have degrees themselves. The material was SO different than the tests for all but math (I took 2 biology's and a medical terminology). I may have wasted 2 semesters here because I have trouble saying I even learned anything. Barbara Hollis, biology professor, was the WORST woman I have ever met in my life. She failed numerous times to help me and other students and was just plain ridiculous, having no understanding for her students and was too full of herself to help her own students. She thought she was "too smart" and felt it necessary to mention her sad accomplishments every time a student doubted her or asked for help. All the financial aid has supported me broadly. I know y'all are hanging in there from the pandemic I will be going to school on June 1st I have not been in school for 6 years because of problems in my family's life I'm still trying to figure life out I'm just now starting to take care of my mom I am living with her now which is a big step. I either need a scholarship for a college essay or need a grant but they said I don't make enough money. I worked for four years by the way. since I started school in dallas colleges(2019) this summer 2022 is the worse for me. My professor O'Brien is never available, no help from him, and has denied access to all the features that other professors give access to students in order to help us. I went to the campus to talk to an advisor after sending him more than 5 emails, even at the campus No one knew his whereabouts and he finally responded after 2 weeks since i told him I think I'll drop that class he didn't even bother to try and assist me instead he said yes you can drop it and you'll for sure find the same class with another instructor good luck. First time to have such a 👎 instructor at dallas colleges I so much regret wasting this semester in this class. Im only a freshmen at Mountainview community college but I already have a great opinion on the institution. I love the greenery surrounding the buildings because they make me feel tranquilized, I love the inclusivity this college gives and the diversity here. The professors that I have so far have been amazing and makes my classes worth looking forward to. I visited the school store in the S building just last week and I really love everything the store has to offer such as snacks, school supplies, feminine products, hygiene products, cosmetics, and basic necessities! The subway in the dining hall has welcoming employees with great customer service. The success coaches in the S building are also very helpful with planning for classes and addressing any concerns you may have. I love this college!Brianna

buses and parking are nightmares here. No parking or you will have to pay everytime you park including weekend whereas other schools often free. Buses always late and full. The school not even tried to get more buses. Also, there is 40mins wait between 2 buses. Finally, unequal opportunity for on cambus job or help. We came to many departments and asked for help but they rarely tried to solve but kept saying we could not do anything. And we came back multiple time and the other did help us out. I enjoyed my time at UNT, made some great friends, and I have good memories. However, this University is not longer a place of higher education but a political activist training ground. I never thought that I’d see the day that The First Amendment would not be honored at UNT, but that is what has happened. And to think I have a degree in Criminal Justice from there is similar to being trained as an EMT by Dr. Kevorkian. The Grad program is a joke. I've never met more people incompetent of doing their job. The undergrad school should conduct training with the grad school to get them up to par. Because they dropped the ball, I now get stuck with their issues. Also the elderly lady working in billing should take a phone etiquette class. We are in 2022. There shouldn't be this many issues consistently happening. Yet, the undergrad side was on top of every single aspect. This school is literally the worst, they take all day in the advising office and registration office. They will have one or two people helping more than 20 people and you would think that would make them have a sense of urgency but they do not. They all act as if they don’t feel like helping you and move so damn slow. I received 2 parking tickets during the time I have attended this school because two hours in a meter is not even enough. The best advisor is Shannon, the rest of them act like they don’t care and will not give you any guidance when your new to college, some will over talk you and not even pay attention or listen to what you are saying to them. This school will literally make you not want to attend college at all with how difficult they make the process. I was suppose to be taking classes here last year but wasn't able to log in. I had a meeting and asked for help and she said she couldn't help me for some reason…I ended up texting & emailing people for help but they eighter didn't reply or said they were going to help me but then ended up not communicating back. I managed to call tec support and they said website was down. Few days later they called me & said they were going to put me on a list and since then I haven't heard anything. I feel like putting a bad review I’m currently trying to see a councilor here at El Centro I came Thursday before 5pm and they told me it was closed but on the website they close at 5pm. Come to find out today a staff member told me they closed an hour early because they were having a spring break party. Today I’m trying to speak to an advisor I’m the only one here sitting in the lobby still waiting for someone to help me. I used to love this school but honestly service has gone down the drain. Two years ago I had the good insight of enrolling in Concorde's PTA program. The program is run by knowledgeable Physical Therapists invested in quality education (Mary, Sam, Laura, Kelly, Dennis). They provided me with the necessary tools to start a new career and enter the work force feeling competent with my skills. The school has a department dedicated to assist graduates find a job, Alvy has personally helped me with this, he even rendered a mock interview so that I would show up to a possible employer as a strong and coherent candidate. Because the program is so well organized (from prerequisites to clinical rotations and even when/how to signing up for your board test!) it is easier to have a balance school/personal life. And when you approach the school, Karl, the security officer at the entrance, is the most welcoming and kind person that will ever open a door for you.Yawi Griffini

My experience at Concorde has truly been astounding. I joined the Medical Assistant program and my teacher Ms Tameka was nothing short of a great instructor. She was very patient, compassionate and dedicated to ensuring that every student learned even if it meant staying late or adapting the way she presented materials.The Financial staff Eva and Peetee were very efficient in handling my paperwork so that I could dedicate my focus to studying and be successful. Upon completion my graduate employment specialist Rocky was a true rockstar. I had no faith in using their services but this guy was very helpful in making sure my resume was top notch and that I was interview ready and confident enough to land jobs and ask for the money I deserved. After completing my externship, Rocky Ramirez who is our graduate employment specialist assisted me with my resume and employment opportunities. I am a current student at CHCP and I can tell you the school is great ,and they do make you feel very comfortable , the staff is very kind and helpful, they are truelly there for you when you need a hand with class concerns, personal issues or life issues, their open door policy is very real and comforting to have when you feel like you have no one to turn to if you need to talk. The cost and short time to complete the program really helped me to decide that this was the right step and time for me to do something for myself. I have enjoyed learning in a fast-paced setting throughout the past few months that I have been enrolled in the program to become a medical assistant. For the past week, Ms. Marshall, my previous teacher, has been very supportive and understanding of both my learning and myself. I'm currently enrolled in Ms. Morehead's class, and on my first day, I have injected Ms. Morehead with saline as a form of vaccine. I'm currently having one of the worst experiences ever! I was completely unaware of being enrolled in online classes once the pandemic started. I never spoke with anyone or confirmed this was ok. I specifically chose on campus classes due my struggle with specific subjects. I was unaware until an instructor contacted me. I emailed advising and was removed from the class I was still charged and a hold was put on my account. I have never talked to or discussed classes with anyone for the fall and i am also scheduled and charged for those classes as well. Now i'm told i have to file an appeal to try to have the balance and the hold removed and i cant remove the fall classes until the balance is cleared. Every time I speak with anyone i'm forwarded to someone or a dept. that cant help or explain!Christi Chavis

While I'd love to give a better review, I have to be honest. If you are utilizing veteran services, prepare for a ridiculous amount of wait time. There's never anyone online via chat and when you call if someone answers, it becomes a series of transference to different people or "I'll have someone contact you." This poses an issue as a current student attempting to be successful in class. I am finding it impossible to get a return address for a delivery I received containing 2 bottles of your CBD oil and 2 packets of the CBD gummy bears which was delivered to me by Hermes. I initially wanted to cancel the order but was informed that I could not. I did not realise the total price of these items and then my shock at finding out I was calling USA as I am in Scotland UK. Dr.George was the best instructor ive ever had LET ME TELL YOU! i have never enjoyed school and never made above a B plus but after taking my first module with him i past all my first 3 classes with a perfect score of 100. She has always been very attentive with me and always checked in, during and after my externship, and now that I'm hired she has continued to check in. I am a student in the MOA program and my experience at concorde I would say it has been amazing.The staff are always willing to help the students to help them succeed and answer any questions they have.If anyone ever has a bad day Stacie and Mari are always open to donating some of their time to the students and help them talk about any issues that they need help with in their personal life.The instructors are very aware of their students and make sure that each and everyone is passing their classes.If you need to find a job in order to survive while attending school Ms.Danielle is always open to helping those who need to find one.Since my second MOD I have been a member of the lamplighter program which is a student leadership program where students help one another including their peers in class and help mentor them as well as help them in anything they need.We lamplighters are always at the service of students and staff if there is ever anything they need help with. The dental hygiene program here is absolutely wonderful. Our teachers and program director are amazing. But I am giving two stars because of the issues I’ve had with financial aid. It feels almost impossible to get an appointment with them and everything is so confusing. I understand everyone is short staffed but I have been trying to get ahold of my financial aid person for a month. Not only are they hard to get ahold of but they have said things such as “you need to get a job” if we ask to take a loan out for living expenses. Don’t they think we would get a job if we could? The program is full time there’s absolutely no time to get a job. I’m honestly just hurt that they treat us that way when we spend 73k on this program.Leah Broyles

I took a night class. The instructor always wanted to go home early. so instead of teaching us hands on, he just read over the instructions. When i and several others in my class took the tour, they said we would practice on dummys before we drew blood on each other. They lied. "The equipment doesnt work" is what we were always told. Towards the end of your last mod they crammed both badge tests and extern sites. We weren't notified if we got into our externs until the last day of class. Really nerve recking to the students who had to quit their jobs or try to notify their jobs of the schedule changes. The extern hours change constantly.Heather Gallagher

A World Class Experience! From early on, I've had trouble with my teeth. I ended up in partial dentures that were always breaking and uncomfortable to wear. The atmosphere at this office was calming & comforting, so I felt at ease. From the very beginning my health was prioritized. The only reason I placed 2 stars is because the dean and the man who enrolled us was great. But other than that,the reviews for this school is spot on. They care only about money. After financial aid,I was told I still needed to pay 221.00 a month or my daughter would be kicked out. The lady who assisted with FA couldn't care less about anyone who goes to this school. And don't have colored hair either,they'll make you change it. When my daughter could not log in to the online course,no one bothered to help or contact us. I had my daughter withdraw. 18,000 dollars and not even a call back. So I'd shop around for a school and make sure its best for you. This one tho,was not it.Katt T

When researching schools and you read “for-profit” as Concordes main description- believe it. I was accepted into the dental hygiene program and was asked to put a down payment of an amount that was almost 5x my rent. I was considered an “independent student.” (no financial help from family) As soon as I communicated the amount was not doable the school redacted my acceptance and gave my spot to someone else… so before you put all your time, money, and effort into this school-don’t. I cannot speak for the program itself and I’ve heard nothing but great things about the instructor… but at the end of the day that doesn’t matter if Concorde is “for-profit” and not for education.Emilee Gestes

Please do not go to this school. The instructors are very disrespectful and do not teach anything. The purpose is to fail you so that you can pay again since you have to retake the whole semester. The first term had a 30 students class and it went down to like 12 of us. This term everyone is failing so far because the term 2 teacher is random and does not go by the book.There are around 5 students in term 5 which is the last term and most of them have repeated at least one term. I am looking into other programs. Stay away, it is easy to get into the program, but you won't learn anything and NCLEX passing rates are low according to the instructors.Kukita Arocha

It's not worth coming here. I should've done more research on how to become an Automotive Technician instead of coming here. There isn't alot of hands on experience that you would imagine there would be. Most of the time its power points, book work, and tests. Some of the instructors cared about our education and taught us well. But some of the instructors are either lazy or just rude all the time. They just sit and be on the computer all day. Every time we ask for help they just get frustrated and ignore us. And most of the students don't even care about learning automotive stuff's, they just play around with each other in the class, and learn nothing, and that's one of the reasons why I didn't learn much at all. And the instructors just ignore them, and do nothing about it. And I wonder why they forced us to give them a good review while we where in class? My nephew start a few months before pandemic. During pandemic it was online school and they did not extend time before allowing him to graduate. The course was Auto & Diesel technician. I should think they should be taught hands on before going into the work world. Now it is very disappointing when you going to have to pay back student loan and was not taught nothing. Plus the school holds on to our diploma until you pay their part on the loan. Please research and find out about the school before applying. I did contact the school and they did nothing. I went to this waste of money school over a decade ago and I'm still paying for it to this day. I'm not even in the field I study for which was automotive technology. The dealerships I went to apply at could care less if you graduated from here. Some of them laughed when I told them where I went. Please take me advice if your thinking of going to one of these schools, don't go. Go to a real college and if you truly want to be a mechanic, go start at a dealership changing oil and work your way up. You want get anywhere going to this money pit.Racer1691

The process overall was well handled. If you want to know what you are paying this is the way to go. The suprise billing for other than the doctor was my reason for using assist. The entire health care industry does not allow for budgeting for this type of thing. So far so good. And assist does a great job of updates throughout the process. Thanks for your help on this program. I honestly do not think I would be able to afford the colon screening I have had if not for the program. Everybody involved has been very professional and toughly. I have not had any less care then I would have paying full price or if I had insurance, which I have experienced (both) in the past. Colonoscopy Assist was like my mother staying awake all night to attend to my needs while I am sick. It is a Good Samaritan Institution. I am very great there are people like you out there. Highly recommend this clinic. I had been toying around with the idea of hair transplant for a few years and after visiting a few clinics (The popular ones) and 4-5 consultations I felt really comfortable choosing Maxim. Throughout the whole process, before and after the procedure, the staff has been very attentive and helpful. I had 3000 grafts done via FUE. It was definitely a long day at the office but the medical team made me feel extremely comfortable and they were absolutely amazing. After comparing pricing and services, Maxim definitely surpassed all my expectation. I feel like I got a lot more than what I paid for. Great value for services. The instructors are great, some of the staff is great , … but the credits do not transfer to any TEXAS university.. They are nationally accredited , and the universities are regionally accredited. I got several denials for universities since the credits don't transfer. I had serval recommendation letters Maintained A- B honor roll (Deans list) Perfect attendance High GPA I received an Associates degree and a certification. The degree is only good job wise – not moving up in your education. The laptop was a great addition as well Now I'll be Starting completely over as a freshman at a community College spring 2021. If you just want a quick certification this is the place for you. Now I'm in debt over a degree thats worthless in the educational system . I've confronted the issue with a few staff members. They don't care .. I am getting legal advice on this matter . Everything I have said I can back up 100%Renee J

The entire staff, from the Campus director to the front office personnel are very professional and go out of their way to ensure all of your questions, concerns, and needs are met. Dr. Tubby is hands down the best vet I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting and bringing my fur babies to—I’d follow him to any clinic he went to if I can drive there (and coming from a woman who lives 5 minutes from work, that’s saying something!) I have two very different pets—the 18 mo 50 lb Vizsla is a high energy sweetheart, while the 8 year old grumpy kitty queen has been labeled “unfriendly” by vets since her birth—and Dr. Tubby is equally amazing with both of them! I can’t believe the difference he’s made in my sweet girl’s comfort level to even go to the vet, which in turn has allowed me to feel confident enough to actually go regularly and know that I don’t need to worry. And that’s just his bedside manners—he’s helped us through a terminally ill doggo, a fussy kitty going into slow kidney failure, and our new over-energy puppy all with skillful expertise, a calm trustworthy attitude, and, above all, a clear understanding of and love for each pet. We suspected our pet had a UTI and we are relatively new to the area. I tried calling a few local veterinary offices but none would work with a new client on short notice. CityVet was different right from the very first call. Very pleasant and helpful. Helping me get an appointment the very next day. The experience was just as good when we arrived. Reception immediately took us to a waiting room. A veterinary assistant checked on us within 2 minutes and started the process. The Lead Veterinarian (Dr Tubby) talked with us for a good amount of time about our Dog's condition and contributing factors as well as prevention. The whole experience was very positive and we are very happy with the results so far. We have antibiotics to take for 10 days so we have to wait to determine if this does the trick. Staff are all extremely helpful and professional. If I had to give any feedback for improvement it would be that the room was a little dirty. But it was a late afternoon appointment so I have little doubt it was clean most of the day.Greg Beeber

CityVet Preston Hollow, how can we ever thank you enough!? My family has 3 dogs: an old, a wild middle, and a smol puppy. Between 2 knee tears, liver issues, neutering, giardiasis, toe infections, and environmental allergies, we have spent a lot of time and money with City Vet Preston Hollow. We know this team well, and couldn’t be more pleased with all of our experiences. Dr Tubby, Dr Greer, and their entire staff are INCREDIBLE and have gone above and beyond for our family and we are eternally grateful for their partnership in our dogs’ lives. When our oldest tore both his knees within 2 weeks, they talked us off the ledge and let us know he would be okay. The care they provided pre and post-surgery was better than we could have ever expected and something we’ll never forget. I’m sure there are a lot of good vets in DFW, but the team here is the best we’ve ever experienced. Thank you, thank you, thank you.alec donahue

Where do I start… I came here because they were the only City Vet that had an appointment for 2 weeks now I know why. My cat has had many issues for a while and I have been very stressed about it trying to get guidance on the problem as each vet is telling me a completely different diagnosis. I spoke with the nurse and she was very kind and understanding. The actual Vet was about the rudest person I’ve ever met. She verbatim said…. You need to decide if your getting an X-Ray right now because I have other appointments and don’t have time to wait after I pondered for 5 seconds deciding if I wanted to pay almost $300 on the spot when other options were explained. This vet had a complete lack of empathy, and essentially tried to rush me into hundreds of dollars of testing on the spot. Please don’t go here, as pet parents we do our due diligence to make sure our animals are getting the best care, including coming to the vet to get care and guidance as we live with the pets day in and out. If you want to be rushed out of a vet because they scheduled back to back appointments and can’t realistically manage their workload then please don’t go here. Very disappointed with my experience here, I will never step foot in here again.Morgan Membreno

Don’t go here. They don’t care about the animals, just the constant office visit fees. They say they really need to see pets to ensure proper care, don’t refill medications without full visits and testing. If you can’t afford it, they still don’t work with you, willing to let pet go without. So do they really care about sick pets?? Scam. I had a really sick baby. (Almond) Shonte’, Dr. Lufkin and Dr. Arroyo helped me not only figure out my payment options but also nursed Almond back to perfect health. I would recommend this CityVet location to anyone. I pass by 3-4 other CityVet locations just to come to this location. The doctors and staff are very kind, patient and compassionate.
