20 Best Medical Assistant Programs In Detroit, MI (2022 Updated)

I called WCC and attended for 3 semesters. Failed my first class because I didn’t know the difference between on- line and virtual classes. Financial aid denied me and reconnect was going to force me to take 2 classes or four total in a year. I have ADHD and bipolar two disorder. It was either the welcome center or the student advisor office that told me that ADHD was just a medical diagnosis and not a disability. I am a mom of three and a grandmother of a toddler.I have been out of school for over 15 years. I am by no means stupid or unteachable. I am great at what I do and am raising well adjusted tiny humans with an awareness of mental health treatment and general accountability. The schools online program send a message that it is doable for everybody and tailored to fit one’s schedule. I have done drop in tutoring I have called the helpdesk I’ve called every number possible for help. I have spoken to financial aid, I have spoken to success coaches, as well as a counselor affiliated with the schoolMy GPA drop below 2.0 and now I can’t afford to go to school. I was in the paralegal program and I can by no means, not understand the material but I struggle so much with the homework and the amount of things you’re expected to know upon entry into this community college. This school has destroyed hope for my future and nobody seems to know what anyone else is doing. The only reason I passed one class is because Professor Lindsey took the time to show me the things I needed to know. Two other instructors, Refused to even go over the homework in virtual classes. They think because it’s in the schedule they shouldn’t have to talk about it in class. Instructors should talk about anything that makes work unclear to students!! Refusal to go over homework by instructors is the biggest thing that caused my struggle in this institution. If you are a mom or a person with day-to-day responsibilities… think twice and get as much info as you can before entering the school. WCC is not tailored for the working person or the single mother. Apologies for any triteness. Democracy runs well w an educated populace. A few hallmarks of a Democracy are; Quality of Life, Education, Freedoms and the Civil Rights of All. Universal Healthcare, Access, Education and Trades training, why not? If we are able to pay one man millions of dollars, then why not provide for millions of people? How often does corporate welfare, “trickle down” and subsidies to huge corporations translate into savings? Educated, critically thinking humans are one goal and Community Colleges are gateways and answers to improving and increasing Democratic values. How naive, ignorant and misinformed I was as a young adult, to snub and look down on Community Colleges. As the decades passed and the Grace of wisdom was given to me, I began to realize the value of CC. Mistakes made can be the process in which we grow and improve, if those mistakes don’t kill you. Thus, Washtenaw Community College is packed full of the possibilities of enhancing the potentialities, aptitudes and visions, just as any institution of higher learning should be. The key: Higher Learning. Do not disparage the “in-district” resident’s ability to pay $95 a credit hour. Of course, the Big 10, Ivy League and others are prestigious and wonders to behold. Yet talent is talent and at times it all comes out in the wash. We are all in the mosaic of life. An accommodating student center, the Legendary Morris Lawrence w the Auditorium’s name in his honor and the music program still going strong. WCC offers countless resources, references and an ability to improve your life plan. Took Motorcycle Safety: Basic Rider Course Weeknight. The course was very well done with professional instructors and decent equipment. Both classroom (parking garage) and range were excellent venues for the subject matter. The class had full enrollment (12 riders) and instructors provided significant "hands on" individualized training. Some participants (students) were familiar with motorcycles others were First Time riders. Appropriate attention and training was received by all. Great job WCC!Michael Bell

From moving out of state and trying another community college it is clear that none if not very few colleges care about their students the way Bay does. One of the best nursing schools in the state of Michigan. They require nursing clinical experience which is worth its weight in gold with your training. Tuition is reasonable. Free Parking available. I recently finished my second Technical degree for Metal Fabrication as a returning student. I delayed going back to school for years for lots of reasons, but mostly because I thought it would be as awful of an experience as High School was. Instead the teachers in my program were excellent. I was always challenged by the projects and supported in my learning in equal measure. If you're looking to get into welding or Metal Fabrication, these programs are career fields that need people, pay well, and you can learn them here! Don't sleep on the trade skills that can be taught here. Go to the open houses, see if these are things you're interested in doing. A 4 year degree isn't The guarantee of employment it used to be, but these one year Technical degrees, leading to in demand fields are.Travis H

Very nice tech college. Almost everyone you come across on campus can point you in the right direction. I just started school today online. But tomorrow I get to go to campus. It's a clean sanitary environment. There is currently some remodeling going on, so part of the building you cannot access… yet! AC was on, felt awesome. temperature didn't change much room to room either. All the employees seem to know their job very well and are willing to help. I chose Madison Area Technical College because I know many people that have graduated and successfully got into a job they wanted. This school is also smaller than UW Madison so I feel like the learning experience is better, more hands on, more participation versus a large school such as UW Madison.Shane Toycen

The good profs here are all just professors moonlighting from UW Madison, I'd honestly say you should apply to and go to literally any other UW system school before here. The quality of education isn't bad- but they somehow managed to misplace finances and put 650 bucks into collections randomly – without mailing me any notifications, and without a notifications on the online portal. You won't get competency from any of the administrative staff, expect 5 week long waits to see a counselor for any sort of urgent need. If you are a student with a disability – make sure you have additional copies of any medical documentation, they will claim to lose it. Most of the education staff despises the administrative staff and yeah, I can see why.Bee

We like the campus and the location. The store is helpful when looking for books and offer rentals and used books to help with cost. We have a lot of trouble with registering classes. They encourage you to do it yourself, but it's very difficult and we've always needed extra help. Then they kept getting my daughter's major wrong. That caused her to take a whole class she didn't need. We asked for a credit toward our next semester for the un-needed class and were only told "everyone makes mistakes" and that they would not credit us for the class. Each department will discuss their business with you only and you have to call one department, handle business with them, and then call the other department. We're told if we have a problem with our FAFSA app., "just ask the financial dept., they'll help you." They never have helped us. They just show us to the laptops in registration and tell us we are "free to use them" to get our business finished. Just be sure to keep an eye on your major, your classes, your credits, etc…. If something's not right, it'll be on you, and you alone.Simply Suzanne

This is an outstanding local community college with a diverse student body with people coming from all over the world. Thousands of interestin and unique stories have been told on that campus, and thousands more have yet to be told. I'm enrolled here and so far I've loved every moment. They offer a wide selection of courses and majors in many subject. A well rounded and friendly staff who are open for consultation makes this my favorite school.David Wadley Animation

I just graduated from here, and transferred to WMU after. I loved every minute spent here. The staff was always helpful, my professors would always help me when I asked for help, and the campus is beautiful. I will miss my time here, but I will be much better off for my time here. Its the cheapest college in the area and you get what you paid for. The staff in the financial aid, business and student advisory are some of the most incompetent people you will ever meet. Time and time again they ask for documents because they lose them every semester. Several times I had to straighten out financial issues after the geniuses had assured me it wouldn't be an issue, then the idiots deny it. The housing director for the dorms is exceedingly callous and cold, if you have a personal issue with your housing or you want to leave early because a job – she wont care. Prepare to have an apathetic housing staff give you the run around, not mean what they say and then deny it if you bring it up, same with all the staff. If I wasnt borderline homeless I would have never come here. Ask any student the competency level of this barely functioning organization and you'll get the same answers. The school is very clean. Like all schools, this one is a business as well. If your going into the nursing program, just know for an associate this is very accelerated. They cram so many chapters and things you need to know in one semester. I felt the stuff they were teaching us will never be used in the real world. You have to maintain 77% to continue in the program. If you fail two classes within your program you cannot apply to the school for 5 years. If you try to withdraw it has to be above 77%. If you withdraw and under 77% it’s a failure. My stress level was so high for months. The do not want you to pass. It’s either you know the content or don’t. No tutors or ways to make up points to help you pass. They expect you to be a book smart nurse; not a real world nurse. Overall, it was ok.Faith N.

Lake Michigan College trail is a nice trail that can either start behind the athletic field or start behind the back of the Mendel Ctr. It takes you in the pines and oaks along a winding little path with small stream waterways and to a place that takes you away from the hustle and bustle of college life. Enjoy the cleared paths and if you get tired take a break on one of the wooden benches. It's a public trail, free parking, I think it is dog friendly, and nature friendly as we saw and heard many birds. Go out and explore and happy trails.Danielle Buhrfiend

By far the worst instructors, Dean, and curriculum I have ever dealt with. They don’t care about their students just the grant money they get from students. Bought a book for 200 good luck selling it back if you do you’ll get 5 bucks for it. Biggest racket I have ever seen. Instructors don’t even have teaching certification. Their not held accountable. Absolutely one of the worst schools you can go to. Very socialist and liberal ideological agendas. After the death of my grandma, I was told i can’t make up my attendance grade for the classes i missed because she “isn’t immediate family”. Worst school ever. Online classes are supposed to help those that cannot complete in-class requirements so what do they do? Require even harder requirements for classes. They state that they are family and children friendly and that the classes are self paced online, but it is far from true. I plan on transferring here to finish my MBA and so far the institute has been awesome, very helpful and informative. One of a few schools if you meet undergrad GPA requirements (3.4+) for their program you can skip the GMAT and gain entry into their program. Extremely fair cost of attendance @ roughly $570 per credit hour. Look forward to continuing this relationship! The professors are amazing. You really have a feeling that they want you to succeed. Once you graduate they really just drop you. I tried working with career services and they only met once then dropped you. Really disappointed in the behavior of no longer a check coming in we no longer care. I have an amazing work history with several degrees but this new degree is transferring over to something new. So I really wanted help in the job search and advice in moving into something different. I attended night classes to try and finish my degree as an adult. I am told that classes during the day are very different. My experience was incredibly frustrating. The professor of my computer class struggled to log in to her computer and often asked me to help answer questions for the class. I took a speech class and the professor did not grade students on an even scale. The highest grade in the class was the student that wrote her entire speech and then read it without ever looking up. That is only a couple. Almost every in seat class was poorly taught.Shanleyhan

I am in my sixth week taking online courses at MATC. I have chosen the IT Support Associate Degree program, for two reasons: One the program is only two years, I’ll be able to launch into the job market faster, and because IT is such a diverse, and fast growing career path, I know I will find a fit into the IT world upon graduation. I chose MATC because MATC is convenient and conventional. I can take classes online, at my own pace, and be on campus for the classes I need more focus and dedication to. This IT program combined with my 10 plus years customer service experience, I know I will be able to reach any career goal I set. Now, while my interest in computers and knack for problem solving I know this career path will be suitable for me, however, to any prospective student looking for a quick money type of career, this program is not for you. This program consists of lots of physical and mental work, also taking consideration of the customers you are serving. If a prospective student welcomes challenges and is comfortable with asking questions and not feeling intimidated by the mass amount of information you will retain then this is a program for you. Prospective students should also be aware that they don’t have to work or figure stuff out alone, one of my favorite accommodations is having access to tutoring, whether online or in person- at all campuses. Fellow future students should also know that acquiring their degree at MATC is a smart money move, students can save thousands of dollars getting their education here, as opposed to a four year college/university. Information Technology is very informative program. This program breaks down a lot of things that can happen with computer systems. It is a to-date program. I choose this program because I want to go more in depth with technology. Everyone uses technology every day. I would like to be able to assist those who are not tech savvy. MATC I.T support program has a great path program. Pathway allows you get a few certificates take a break and come back for your diploma. Completing this program will give the knowledge and skill I need to become an I.T professional. Instructors are very helpful. Staff is friendly. My experience in MATC IT Computer Support Specialist program is limited but good so far. I chose to pursue this degree because it lines up well with my current work experience and career goals. So far, I have been able to take all my classes online with no scheduled class times, so I can complete assignments at my own pace without interfering with my work schedule. Another thing this program does well, is that it offers options to achieve many different certifications on your way to a degree. The college is run by bunch of people who care more about how modern the place looks, not how well we learn. Spend too much money on new building and modifying existing buildings, but do not invest in qualified professors. This college treats foreign professors like dirt. I am taking two classes from foreign professors with high credentials and they are knowledgeable and very helpful. But these professors are put into terrible working conditions by over working and under paying. They work pretty much full time, but few minutes from their work schedule is cut to make them part time and save money for the college. In order to cover that time, fresh BS graduates with no teaching experience was hired, of course, without a formal interview. Is it even legal to hire unqualified people, even without an interview? Is this how a publicly funded college function? This place needs to realize that that our learning condition is our professors working condition.L G

Glen Oaks is a great community college! Coming from a small town they have a lot to offer at the lowest prices around. They offer a lot of scholarship opportunities as well! The health professors are simply the best. They help you in every way they can to help you understand the concept. I definitely recommend Glen Oaks to everyone.Delainy

My husband was on the nursing wait list for ten years. He is a veteran and a hard worker. He was told the RN wait list was 2-3 years by Sue Helmer. The professors goals are to make students repeat classes for monetary gain. This is what happened to my husband and several of his classmates. Failure is encouraged at this school. Students teach themshelves. My husband have retaken most of his classes because some of his teachers could not find proof of his final grades. Also the office lost his important paper work. He was marked down for failing the classes, and had to retake them over. Cora Beute, and Michelle Richter refused to look into their system, and marked him absent for classes when he was present. The financial aid department charged him twice for many of his classes.The administration took advantage of him having auto pay for classes. He was overcharged several of times. One thing after the next. My husband is now attending Grand Valley University. He had to retake more than seven classes over because some of GRCC classes are not transferable. A bunch of time wasted. My husband regret going to GRCC. I will recommend anyone to run from this scum of a place.护士Diane

Admission staff isn't very helpful. I'm being told on the FAFSA and by others if you live alone you do not have to fill out the parent information field just to call up here and have them tell me that's not the case. I'm in my twenties with my own place. Not seventeen just getting out of HS. I graduated five years ago so why do I need parent info? This is the latest addition though to a list of complaints. Just finally annoyed enough to leave a review. I've been considering for the last few years going to school and I have not committed yet due to personal circumstances. But every time I do seriously set my sights on it I find myself frustrated with the people I end up speaking with. Only giving two stars because I'm hopeful that my experience with the education side of things will be a lot better than all the tedious steps you have to do just get in and get assistance.A. My short experience has been good here. Although parking can be a mess, and often times people's card will not allow them to leave (it lets them in though) and the person on the telecom won't let them out, they want them to back up (when there's 20 cars bumper to bumper in line waiting to leave) and come inside. Or they can pay 4x the regular amount via credit card and then they'll be able to leave right then and there. Unnecessary hassle, a joke considering they're getting thousands of dollars every DAY simply from parking fees alone. Should attend common sensical decency meeting once a year.Patrcia Clemons

When I was looking into going to Ross I was a little apprehensive because I wasn't sure if this program was really any good. From the minute I walked in the door all my apprehension was gone!! The admissions staff made me feel right at home and walked me through the process step by step and answered all my questions. The financial aid staff was wonderful and answered all my questions about my financial aid and got it processed quickly. The school director was absolutely the best!! She takes time to actually sit you down and find out how you are doing in your courses and she is available to fix any problems you may have. The instructors are very friendly and knowledgeable about the subjects they are teaching you and are also available to answer any questions and offer whatever help you may need. Career services literally will not stop looking for employment for you until you have a job in your field. Honestly so disappointed. A complete lack of communication from day one. Today should be my graduation date, and I can't even get an email response about anything. The education I received was so far off track from what I was told I would receive (Billing and Coding) and I think I might be qualified to answer phones and make minimum wage now that I am done. I get plenty of communication about sharing on social media but cannot even get a response about what I am to do next now that my qualifications for completion are met. Updates needed for the sake of the teachers and students as far as efficacy goes. Machinery such as autoclaves and centrifuge could stand to be updated as well. All staff and personnel at Ross is absolutely wonderful and I have and will continue to sing this school's praises. This was my first onsite class with DeVry. I have had such a great experience with my senior project class here at Naperville. Being that it was my first time, I had to get an ID and receive a quick orientation. The onsite staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. In this session, our class was granted the permission to occasionally use the Addison campus for access to the tech playground for our presentations. Our innovative teacher, Professor Rucks, encouraged us to explore and utilize the facility to aid in our course work. When I needed academic advice and assistance, Mr. Dufresne, Assistant Dean of Academic Excellence, made himself immediately available and went out of his way to make sure my needs were met. Professor Nichelle Manuel made Database Essentials for Business w/ Lab worth every hour taking this class valuable. Her instruction during the lectures made everything that i read just *Click* every week. Her patience with the class really came through when a classmate needed help to clarify a task in our Lab. It's a great challenging course. A long course compared to other courses in the area. Signage needs updates but bring your A game . Unfortunately we had a negative experience at Karmanos and would not go back. The process was extremely lengthy, the team was unprepared and didn't provide useful guidance, and in the end we had to pay the bill for a service that added more harm than good. We are from Windsor and went to Karmanos to receive a second opinion after being told in Windsor there were no treatment options available for my husband, besides 1 which was not yet available in Canada. Upon Karmanos' request, I paid for all of my husband's medical records and took a day off work to drive to Detroit and deliver them. When we arrived for our appointment a few weeks later, the Doctor and his team seemed like they hadn't consulted any of the material. First of all, my daughter and I took the day off work to both attend the appointment (as my daughter is more familiar with his cancer and treatments). Upon arriving they said only one person could accompany my husband and we had not been told of this previously. I was not even allowed to wait in the Lobby, and had to sit in my car in the heat. They told us they could call me from the Doctor's office. When my husband and daughter went in, first they were taken in by a nurse. My husband is very weak, in a lot of pain, and it is hard and painful for him to stand. The nurse was very impatient and continued insisting that he stand straight so she could get his height (which my daughter told her and should have been in his charts) as well as his weight, which we also already had checked. They then waited a long time to be seen by the doctor, while my husband has little energy and had already been through a long trip to come to Detroit. Even though they said they could call, it turns out they didn't have a phone and could not, in fact, call. They told my daughter she could call from her phone, which was dying and also charged international fees as our phone plans are Canadian. When the physician's assistant and doctor finally arrived, my daughter extensively explained my husband's disease and treatments to a nurse, the physician's assistant, and the physician. This was all in his paperwork I had delivered. Upon finishing, the doctor provided little to no insight or guidance. My daughter asked about this last possible treatment that was available and all the doctor said is along the lines of "yeah you could do that, but you would have to pay for it and it's expensive". There wasn't explanation of the situation, the pros/cons. Overall it felt like a strain on my husband to go and sit through this, and we didn't gain any understanding. It seemed like my daughter provided the answers instead of the doctor. To put this in perspective, the following week we were able to see an Oncologist in London, Ontario. In this case, the Doctor and her team knew all about my husband's medical history, and took a lot of time to sit with us and explain the options, as well as assure us that my husband's treatment plan had been the best for him. We left feeling settled, and didn't have a bill to pay in the end. If you are from Windsor and thinking of going to Karmanos, maybe you will have better luck than us because we had heard positive things, but unfortunately given our experience I would say it is not worth the money. The only positive experience was the kind and understanding man who helped my daughter check in at the entrance, who we believe was named Reginald.Golnar Karimi

I went to see an Endocrinologist. I was able to get an appointment within a few weeks. After that initial appointment, it was downhill from there. After first appointment, it was 10-12 week out for my next appointment. Just to discuss blood work. Just getting proper documentation to have the blood work done was a task. Overall, I was pleased with the building and facilities. I was not thrilled with my doctor and her lack of motivation to get me results. And at least find out the problem. So I'm still at step 1 as we speak. I'm going elsewhere for another Endocrinologist.Mike Callahan

I will be graduating from Carnegie's Medical Assistant program in December of 2018. Hoping that a good career would fall into my hands, finally getting the perfect one for me was just what I has hoped. Carnegie Institute was the best decision ever made. The instructors taught the students and I how to be caring, willing to do anything, hard-working, and dedication, which is important in life. I would not be in the place I am today without them. I completed the medical assistant program at Carnegie and have moved onto the Cardiac EP program, and never would have gotten to where i am today without this school. The dedication and passion for education and the quality of training is immeasurable. By far the worse school you could attend . The school charges you for a education , but you never have a professor. I attended the VA program which was a complete waste of time . You don’t learn anything with animals instead you are working with stuff animals. There are never teachers at this campus’s, let alone by whole time attending this program I had a teacher literally verbally assaulting me via text message and changing my grades constantly. I had to eventually go to the students president who therefore didn’t solve anything , and then once he did at this point it was useless because I already wanted to drop out but I was in too deep. The counselors were aware too of the situation and did absolutely nothing about it , also if attending this school pregnant, be aware they don’t believe in Time of leave , and or doctors note . After I gave birth to my first son they wanted me to finish my proficiencies not even 2 weeks after my son was born , even with a doctors note explaining postpartum rules ( when I had 3/5 done). They also didn’t let me take my exam at a later day, I had to take it not even 24 hours after giving birth ! Very unprofessional and unorganized school . I would avoid at all costMillie AndZelik

NOT a success story. 2018 graduate for VA program. I graduated the top of my class and I am currently unemployed. In both the clinics I worked at, the position of an actual Veterinary Assistant was never granted to me. First place I was at I was a kennel attendant for a year and they didn't like me enough to promote me. Second place, kennel again, position of Veterinary Assistant didn't exist and had to consider becoming a tech – a far more independent role that I was NOT ready for given the deadline I had and my coworkers being too busy to train me. My certification never, ever held much weight. I am thousands upon thousands of dollars in debt and my life was almost ruined. I can't afford monthly tuition anymore. Dreams crushed. Years wasted. Have to literally pay for my biggest mistake for the next decade. Now that I've lost faith in the medical field I don't know what to do with my life. Be wary. I had a pretty great experience with Ross. Very hands on. We learn by doing things on each other. The teachers are awesome. They make sure you are very prepared to go out into the work field. Everybody is rooting for you there. I met some very amazing people at Ross. They also help you find a job when you're done with the program. This is a great stepping stone to get you into the medical field. Or in general if you're looking to make more money. I only wish my campus did something with the community that way We'd get a feel of what it's like to work on people other than your peers. Overall, I would recommend giving it a goBrianna Ford

I attended the Ann Arbor, Michigan location. My experience with Ross has been nothing short of AMAZING. My instructors were professional, competent, fair, confident, supportive, and always made themselves available to their students whenever needed. They made learning interesting and fun. I've never had any issues with my tuition thanks to the financial aide department always being on top of their game. And thanks to Career Services department, I was able to do my externship at a location closer to home at a well known and high rated medical facility. From the moment I walked in to Ross to become a student, I was greeted with a smile, and all questions were answered honestly and completely. I thank admissions personnel and administration for always being a positive ray of sunshine to all who walk into the facility, or call for information. And last, but certainly not least, I want to acknowledge the Director and the Assistant director for helping to make my amazing experience at Ross Possible. From their undying genuine care and support, to the way they keep the Ann Arbor location running smoothly and professionally. This school has helped me learn so much. The staff is so helpful. I am pursuing dental assisting at the moment. The instructor Ms. May is absolutely AMAZING! She is such a great teacher and really cares about helping us students learn and better understand. Especially when someone needs extra help, she is always there and no matter what always has the answer and always gets back to us ASAP, even when we are out of class. She pushes us and challenges us. Ross is the best school ever! The instructors are amazing, the director is amazing and the office staff is amazing. I love everything about this program and I really feel like it has prepared me to be the best I can be. Everyone is really encouraging, you will feel comfortable to discuss anything you need to and they will help you get to where you want to be. I was referred to this clinic by the federal motor carrier safety administration (FMCSA) or DOT for short, for a DOT medical exam. I was seen by Dr. Mike Eldirani and I am so glad I came here! He was very thorough with his exam and he listened to all my concerns, he took his time and did not rush me through it. His faculty is clean and the staff are very courteous and professional. I plan on recommending this place to all my truck driver friends for their DOT exams. He got me in quickly but made sure I wasn’t rushed out. Dr. Mike & the staff are soooooo nice! After my previous p.c.p’s practice abruptly stopped working w/ my insurance provider, I stressed & struggled to find a new primary care physician as I had such a great relationship with my old one. I finally found Dr. Mike online and felt comfortable enough to schedule an appointment, and am happy to say that it went even better then I could have hoped!!! Life Medical Center is such a professional, clean and respectful facility. Everyone who works here is extremely nice and attentive. For a while I was on the hunt for a great PCP and after hearing such great things about Dr. Mike Eldirani and staff, I made the switch and couldn't be happier. I have never waited longer than 10 minutes; the staff always makes sure they get you in and out quickly yet the providers make sure they take their time with you. Highly recommend!Diane

I was so nervous before I came here because everyone was saying they were strict! I’m so glad that I scheduled my test here instead of listening to what others thought the TO is wonderful she was very professional and helpful! Tiana from Latitude Training Center proctored my CNA exam. During the skills test, even though I knew the steps, I was very nervous and overthinking everything. Tiana’s calm, positive, friendly personality definitely helped put me at ease. When you have some one looking over your shoulder judging your every move, it can be stressful, but she never had me feel stressed during my skills test. Latitude Training Center has a great staff that offers a 17 day CNA program that is relatively cheap compared to other programs. Even though it’s a fast paced program, it is very educative and you receive a lot of training throughout the program which makes the state exams very easy. I really recommend it to Medical and Nursing school applicants to boost their applications, or to anyone who wants to start his career in the medical fieldjawad ajini

I'm so thankful for taking a chance with Ascension Healing Arts Center. All the healers here are unique, kind, and incredibly gifted. Reiki is amazing, and I encourage all to try. So far, I've had the opportunity to personally work with Donna Lakes, Katie Sass, and Michael Allison. My journey at Ascension Healing began with healing sessions with Katie. Katie is such a bright light, and the loving energy she sends me feels like a warm blanket each time. Katie's unpacked many patterns and limiting beliefs that were keeping me from connecting with my authentic self. A self that was foreign to me. After some sessions, she encouraged me to join the Ascension Healers Program led by Donna Lakes, and the other wonderful healers here. I did, and I'm learning so much on self-healing and healing others. Donna Lakes is one of a kind. I admire her greatly. Being in the Ascension Healer's Program and working with Donna, as well, is teaching me how much vitality for life I have in me because I didn't think I did. Where I thought silence was always the answer, I have a voice within me that matters, and is so strong. I could go on really. But, so far working with these ladies, I am learning my truths, working on what needs healing, and I'm starting to view life differently. Michael Allison is amazing. His gift of flower essence drops and aura sprays are the bomb.com. Michael listens to what is ailing you at the time, and creates a formula of drops that are unique to you. His aura sprays are everything as well. I spray before going into work, while at work, at home, everywhere I need an aura boost and protection. He's been helping me with grounding as well, and with my heavy emotions of grief. I'm thankful for all of it. Healing yourself is a worthwhile investment, and it shouldn't be done alone. I started going to the center to do healing work with Donna. I was shocked at how spot on the healing support was! I enjoyed my sessions and the work so much that I decided to enroll in classes there too. I've really enjoyed the classes as well. We are covering a wide variety of topics around intuition and healing, and I like that the portion of the program I'm taking right now is focused on healing yourself. There is also a lot of support built into the program, which is great too because healing is not always an easy process! Overall, I've really enjoyed my experiences and the people I've gotten to work with at the Ascension Healing Arts Center, and I would definitely recommend it!Cassie W

My experience and time at the center has been nothing short of amazing and transformational. I become certified in Reiki I & II under Donna Lakes and then decided to join the 2 year healer program. The community and support you receive here is unlike any community I have ever been apart of. I get monthly reiki and healing sessions from Claire and she is truly gifted and amazing.
