Hello, graduate of the Class of 2022 Dental hygiene program here. As we were starting the program the covid shut down happened. The instructors and program director where very attentive to how they could make the program work. As much as we were adapting to school online, so were they. I personally felt the support from all instructors. As per clinic, I feel my skills evolved every semester and we are challenged to push ourselves more. I am grateful and able to practice what I learned in school at my office. I love my career and would definitely recommend it.Daisy Rodriguez

I went through the LPN program last year in the height of Covid. It was challenging but the support from the teachers was great! They did their absolute best trying to figure things out and help us figure things out as well. This program is very hard work but the amount of effort you as a student, shows in your personal outcome. After a minor fender bender I was FORCED by Albuquerque Ambulance Services and Police to be transported to Kaseman over calling my wife who was only a few blocks away. Ambulance service was DECLINED 3 times yet FORCED to accept transportation. I am now faced with a FORCED invoice in excess of the ER fees. I have called over half a dozen time in attempts at having this resolved. Albuquerque Ambulance is still expecting payment after dispute was filed directly and with BBB. All reasonable approaches thus far have been "Dispute declined". I feel it is unreasonable to expect payment for a service that was; 1. Unnecessary 2. Unneeded 3. Declined Fact that I was FORCED into the Ambulance short of escalating the situation to forcefully services has thus far been ignored. The honest and ethical path forward is to write off the invoice. Question remains if Albuquerque Ambulance is an honest and ethical group. Experience thus far indicates otherwise. Now 1/18/14 ABQ Ambulance is seeking to collect by impacting my personal credit rating. This outfit is flat out fraudulent and contributed towards me loosing my job. I will be seeking legal consultation seeking compensation.Andrew M

Today I witnessed some more first responders. The person they were transporting was in pain with a fractured tibia. The three employees of Albuq. Ambulance (Presby) were Brandon, Mary, and a person in training, I believed, named Mechaelia. The family of the person being transported was there and noticeably distress as they watch a loved one in pain. It can be very stressful and overwhelming. The members of AA calmly went about there job with a flow that helped the family know that their relative is in good hands and on the road to recovery. I take a lot of pride and put a lot of effort in letting people have a positive experience in my line of work. I am very aware of this effort outside of my job which is why I wanted to leave this review. Albuquerque is a great city to live and a proud native. I am an emergency medical technician from Boston and the level of medical professionalism and medical knowledge is amazing the work ethic is none that I have ever seen before. Be sure to read the guidelines before going in and you will not have any issues every department hapartments has wonderful people there to answer your questions or help you with your needs.. I myself am actually disabled and go to school for for film on a scholarship for disabled individuals and I have had amazing support the entire way through Not only that but the Dean the entire staff is really great and now the campus has improved to the Overall fuel of the campus it's a nice place to be to hang out and and they have made plenty of spaces where students can actually be even when between classes or doing homework doing homework etc. There are a number of labs where you can use the latest technology and the latest software often So you really have many options and options and I would recommend CNM I graduated with 2 of my degrees and I am working on one more and I have been to UNM but CNN has much more intimate classes and not only that tleave that that I find the quality he is better as well Instead of quantity being focused on quality is focused on so you will have some amazing professors. Who definitely do not get paid enough for what they're doing in fact the entire staff really is underpaid for what they do but as far as everything with the campus goes I would recommend that I would recommend that I would recommend looking up the website so you know where you're going if you're looking for something in particular you'll be able to find that rather easily through the website and you can also chat with someone if you need to. You can find help with everything from Career advancement job place manic cetera to next Saturday to financial aid and so on. The new buildings and the additions and renovations to the other buildings at the main campus are top notch and I really loved being at the school I'm disappointed that disappointed that I have to move to a 4 year school it's been a honor.Rye Lu (edisiuS One)

I set up my classes almost 3 weeks in advance with an advisor. A week before classes were supposed to start (today) I called and talked to 3 seperate people. A man in the advisor office, a woman at the cashiers office, and a woman in the financial aid office. Each person confirmed my payments were set up and I was good to go for classes. I went on an out of state trip and came home to DOZENS of texts and emails saying my classes were getting dropped. I paid $50 to keep the classes, and I was still dropped from my classes. I called and talked to an advisor who said there was basically nothing they could do, and told me that a higher up would call me. Its been a week since then and I still havent heard anything, I still dont have my money back. Im heartbroken and distraught. Every time ive tried to call since speaking with the advisor, ive been hung up on every single time. CNM preaches inclusitivity, then excludes the disabled students. Absolutely ridiculous and im still fuming.SomeCryptid

Don’t go to this school if you’re trans. On their website there’s a name change request for trans students that doesn’t require paperwork, yet I’ve been running in circles for a week and getting zero progress. When I bring it up, no one in student services even knows what I’m talking about and IT had to have me lead them to the form. You would think that they added the form last week without telling anyone. I went to UNM last semester and the school let you change your own name within blackboard and it was updated within 24hours. The process at CNM is so difficult and ridiculous and the help services just transfer my call to other departments as if they don’t know who can handle the issue. After this semester I’m transferring back and staying at UNM.azul

The academy was not as expected, not good quality of delivering education methods; one instructor teaches a class for four hours then break, the rest of the day in a lab with students! The labs lack good quality equipment’s for the price we pay for this course? Splints straps torn, especially the head stabilizer on the board? They teach drug calculations at the last week of the semester, and then they test you the following week, expecting that you know everything from the last moment. Also, the college advisors I have been with were not fully helpful! UNM EMS Academy was one of the worst colleges in EMS education!Yazied Hafith
