Writing a review for UNMC is an emotional task for me because they have been there for my mom and family through life, sickness, recovery, health, and even death. In all they've been there for they did right, without judgement or bias, and with care, hope, and support. I live in Kansas, but I know this hospital and all the towers better than some streets near my home. I've interacted with many specialty doctors, nurses, techs, housekeeping staff, ER, security team members, and so many others. We've experienced teams in Kidney Transplant, Wound Care, Cardiovascular, Cardiology, Ophthalmology, ENT, Derm, Cancer Center, and the Comfort Care Team. I can tell you that these teams are here because they love what they do. If you're considering UNMC as a new place to care for your needs I would do so without hesitation. When my mom moved they were so helpful in her transition to Kansas. Without them we'd be lost. We will miss each of her teams, their knowledge, and their care. It was so hard to leave.Tam E

Very disappointed in care provided. Nursing seems sorely under staffed. Although they frequently have cell phone in hand. Communication between staff (doctors and nursing staff)is lacking. Communication of providers and patients is insufficient. Facility is dirty dusty and run down. And should we talk about HIPPA….nothing to talk about….it doesn't exist there. Hep locks do not get flushed even after several days….negligent much? Showers/bed baths not offered to patient even after 3 days in-house. Are they trying for some nosocomial infections?S B

Today I went to Nebraska medical center and the eye clinic. The people that are very friendly and nice it's clean has three levels. The doctor I seen seem very knowledgeable and was very concerned with my eye condition it was funny when we first pulled up and parked in the first row there was a broom next to the handicap sign made me laugh remind me of handicap which parking. Someone probably had clean snow off their car with the broom and left it there.Karen Beautiful

Since they have instituted 6 sessions Columbia College has proven they are not about the students. By making this move they force students to take student loans or lose part of their Pell grant due to not being enrolled full time. They try telling their students that 6 sessions per year will benefit them. Being a student that is currently enrolled and have been for a few years now I can tell you it is of no good to the student. Not only does it cost us more but instead of having any type of break between already accelerated courses we only have two days off. This is ultimately going to lead to more stressed out students and lower GPA's. There was a time I recommended this College to everyone I came across. Now sadly I make it very clear Columbia College is the worst college you could attend. It is a joke. Rolla's new policy if we don't offer something you need in seat take it online. Not mentioning that not only are online courses significantly more expensive but the work that is required for these is beyond reason. I am talking at minimum double the workload of an in seat class. The teachers are great, administration from the main campus down is terrible. This is no longer a student centered college no matter what their website portrays.Sean Dahlman

I'm currently enrolled at CC. This is the best college I've ever been to. The faculty is understanding and very helpful. They actually care about your education. My advisor was by far the best. She helped me through some very tough decisions and helped me to make the best financial decisions. I visited the enrollment center 3 times to change classes due to my own reasons and all three times they were understanding, helpful, and encouraging. I also went to the enrollment services about my financial status multiple times throughout the year and they were always there to help. They showed me my financial plan exactly including scholarships, loans, and grants. They explained everything to where I could understand and even printed me copies of my plan. BEST COLLEGE containing the VERY BEST PEOPLE! The other reviews that had one star and rude comments, it's because of their stupidity and closed mindedness. I had a terrible experience at this school. I would highly recommend not going to this college. They do not care about how you as the student does. All they care a bout is your money. You will NEVER hear back from any of your online teachers. I tried emailing a teaching with a question 3 times and not once did I hear back from the teacher. If for any reason you need to withdrawal they will not except it. Even if you withdraw a day or 2 after the deadline, they will make you pay every cent, even if you had good reason for the withdrawal. If you want to attend a college that cares about your needs and your success I would highly recommend choosing a different college because the only thing they care about at this college is getting your money. My daughter has been planning on going to Northeast for over a year now. We sent in our housing application, fee, and dorm request last year. She received a letter that she got the dorm she wanted! She elected to go to Northeast at this point because she was so happy! She met her 3 roommates for the 4 person dorm room! All is good… wait… nope guess not. We received a call today that they are overbooked on kids and jamming 2 more students into their 4 person dorm room. 6 people in 1 dorm. Where will 2 xtra beds go? How will 6 people use 4 tiny closets? How will 6 girls shower and get ready in 1 tiny bathroom every morning. I called to say—- ummmm- no…. and I was told “it is not our choice”. I’m sorry, we are paying over $10,000 for a dorm room and it’s not our choice? I have never been more disappointed and do not know what to do. Can we even get into another school this late in the year? Did Northeast do this because they know that we are stuck? Literally so upset. Ima tell everyone I know because what they did to us was dirty. Be very careful with the promises your are given when visiting this school.Abby Hansen

I recently completed a summer course at North East and was informed that they do not provide a forum for students to give feed back to professors on the course. I believe that it is note worthy for professors to be evaluated by the subject/students to see if they are performing up to expectation or not. The professor was unprepared in the syllabus as to what was necessary to purchase for books and materials. The syllabus stated 4 materials were needed and we never used two of the items listed. Followed MLA citation in book that was required but docked on grade because professor used different style in his notes (required book referenced Print vs Web). He didn't want this noted. How are we as students to learn from our mistakes if we don't get assignments graded and back before the next assignment due. All assignment built off the previous assignment! This was a good school overall. I went here from 2009 to 2011. It was a small school and they were just building their multicultural department so it was something to be desired but it was good education. If you came to class on time and did you're part of the work to be prepared you made it through. There was true traditional student to teach your advisement here for the students career path. I appreciate Rasmussen University for having an abundance of resources and many professors and other staff members who demonstrate they want students to succeed. I especially have enjoyed being a peer educator, being privileged to work with Tammy Hopps who is an excellent supervisor and leader, and also being able to work with other peer educators who care for their peers as much as I do. I transferred from a local state college, which I considered sticking with to save money, but in reality, not much is saved when you compare the timeframe for graduation. At the state college it would take me an extra 2 whole years to receive my BSN, whereas at Rasmussen I save 2 years of time because of their second-degree BSN option. I am very pleased with the quality of technology – at the state school blackboard and other resources were slow and did not work as well on my cell phone, whereas with Rasmussen I can easily access everything I need from my phone when I'm on the go. It's inspiring to see so many single parents and married parents in school, some of which also work full time or part time like myself while completing their degree. I had such high hopes when enrolling at this school. However my experience hasn't been favorable at all. I am a current student and I was disappointed because even though I was able to enroll and start classes I really felt unsupported on this journey. I'm realizing Rasmussen may not be the school for me. I REALLY thought I would be supported and encouraged. I was made to feel that Rasmussen would be rooting for me through my academic journey. Instead I am bombarded with emails and calls telling me what I already know… I owe money. No calls or emails about how I can be helped to budget so that I can pay more toward the balance. I'm only being told: what I owe, to get the balance down to $500-$1000 and to take out loans; which will only put me in debt and it's too early to be taking out loans when I've been in school since September of 2021 and have 2 more years. Also this school doesn't cater to single parents, limited income and individuals that HAVE to work. This school ONLY has day classes for the nursing program and as I said before I HAVE to work full time.Sherria Clark

This morning I called the university for the North Orlando Campus for the Nursing program and spoke to the director of Nursing who was discusstingly rude on the phone. I called to get information, He had no patience and told me Not to proceed a career in Nursing because it was Not for me. This was a university that I was so excited to be a part of and be a graduate of Nursing. The director needs to be Fired because he is giving the university a bad reputation. It’s unfortunate that I have to write this review but I am in hopes of MCPHS revising their admissions process for the Physician Assistant Program. I know that I was not the only student this year that was invited to interview and then closed out of an interview spot and placed on a waiting list. When I contacted MCPHS they told me that I may not get to interview after all as they had accidentally invited too many people to interview and did not have the resources to open up more interview dates even though acceptances are not on a rolling basis. How does a top tier medical university not have the resources to interview all the students they invited? By choosing to interview solely the people that happened to secure spots first, not only are they limiting the potential of their incoming class and proving that they only care about filling the spots for monetary reasons, but they are limiting the future of numerous successful students who worked hard to get an interview invitation. When I asked Jordan Hunt (admissions counselor) to make sense of this she was unable to provide a competent answer besides that the university messed up and the incoming students are the ones facing the repercussions. I’m not writing this for myself, but for the other students who were too timid to speak up or who had chosen this school as their top choice and then got screwed. I truly feel bad for some of the other incoming students who do not have other options and were relying on MCPHS. I am very disappointed. MCPHS either needs to change their interviewing process to rolling acceptances (interviewing the top tier students first and then going down the line) or they need to use this model but be willing to open up more dates in case of overflow. Side note: They informed me that students on the waiting list could be notified up to a day before an interview that a spot had opened up. Do they not take into consideration that everyone doesn’t live near Boston or works full-time? Extremely dissatisfied with this supposedly “top tier” medical college.Maddy Frank

Hey guys, good for all the students giving great remarks. I don't know if the school has paid you. I must say i was in the nursing program , ( the set that started 2005) the teachers were very bad. Everything was very difficult, out of 50 students that got into the nursing program only 15 students or even less that graduated from the program. Judy Murphy was very racist, no room for improvement. It was a very bad school. I will recommend another school any day any time as matter off fact the school needs to refund money back to students that paid for tuition. All they care about is your money and not the students. It was a very traumatic experience. It was one of the worst decision i have ever made in life to attend that college. I Owe up to 100,000 in debt with no nursing degree to show for. I thank the Almighty God i got my degree from another school with no stress or frustration. Guys open your eyes and look for another school. I just finished my second-year in PharmD program in MCPHS. I’m gonna transfer to Worcester to study the accelerated program. I have had great time in MCPHS so far. All professors are very nice and friendly. I haven’t met any professor who’s not willing to help student wholeheartedly. They always have office hours to answer students’ inquiries and to clarify the lecture in case the students don’t understand. There are absolutely no discrimination in MCPHS. It’s all about respect. Every MCP student is very welcoming so we have a very close-knit community in MCP. The program is well-designed and bearable. Sometime I feel overwhelmed but it’s not impossible to pass as many people say. You just need to put time and effort and you’ll be fine. In short, MCPHS is a great university for those who seriously pursuit a professional career in pharmacy and health sciences.Bill Nguyen

This was my first onsite class with DeVry. I have had such a great experience with my senior project class here at Naperville. Being that it was my first time, I had to get an ID and receive a quick orientation. The onsite staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. In this session, our class was granted the permission to occasionally use the Addison campus for access to the tech playground for our presentations. Our innovative teacher, Professor Rucks, encouraged us to explore and utilize the facility to aid in our course work. When I needed academic advice and assistance, Mr. Dufresne, Assistant Dean of Academic Excellence, made himself immediately available and went out of his way to make sure my needs were met. Professor Nichelle Manuel made Database Essentials for Business w/ Lab worth every hour taking this class valuable. Her instruction during the lectures made everything that i read just *Click* every week. Her patience with the class really came through when a classmate needed help to clarify a task in our Lab. She made the class easy to understand and learning a new program very valuable. this class has helped me in my career by helping me improve on my relationships at my current employer by knowing how the program taught is the same one used at my place of employment. My school experience at Keller has been great from the start and I can honestly say it has been mainly due to the awesome faculty and professors. My last class Applied Managerial Statistics (Math534) just ended and it was again evident that because of professors like Dr. Al, who has the patience to teach and listen to students needs, that I was able to learn a lot more that I thought I would. I am in the MPA program. While the program is very hard, but yet rewarding, overall, UNO could use some restructuring of their programs and the professors who teach them. There should not be that much variance/ disunity in a professor’s mode of instruction/ lectures and expectations compared to the students homework/ assignments. I know that I am not the only student who felt/ feels this way about some of the professors teaching styles. Some students have already reached out voicing their concerns some students have not because they just want to finish their programs and be done. I feel like students were misled about who would be supervising their projects for spring 2019. Students have been told different things and it keeps changing to fit everyone else/ program needs and not the needs of students. As students, we are students of UNO but we are also customers/stakeholders too. I think UNO sometimes loses sight of that. Like other reviews have indicated the UNO staff/ professors some of them are unresponsive and they do not return emails or phone calls from students asking for help. So don't count on traditional student advisement because they do not do this here. You will navigate your program of study on your own. Hopefully you know which classes are offered and when they are offered or you will be a year behind your graduation schedule as certain class are not offered year round and no one informs you of this until it is too late.S J

Very unprofessional and unresponsive staff, if you want to transfer with an associates, be ready start over at UNO as a freshman. UNO is a business, they're mainly in the parking and book market taking advantage of students, books are twice the price on campus compared to other bookstores elsewhere including online, they advertise cheap credits but when you register, you're bombarded with fees that don't even make any sense, the total fees could amount to more than what you pay for tuition! Not to mention, if you want to meet with an advisor, even for a simple question, you have to make sure that you make an appointment a month in advance, that's how it goes there, they don't respond to emails, to them you're just another student and you don't really feel appreciated, I ended up leaving UNO despite coming with an associate's that was just earned with a GPA of 3.9/4.0, I was told I'd have to start as a freshman! I'll be fair however, the one professor that I took her class there was a wonderful professor she really cared about her students. Nonetheless, I ended up transferring to another university that took all my credits and recognized my hard work and I only have to do 2 years or less there! Since UNO loves profits, I guess in short I can say that I took my business elsewhere!Y. M.

UNO COMMITS LEASE OR RENTAL FRAUD. BE AWARE. Cancelling your housing contract early will lead them to immediately charge you half of ALL OF THE RENT YOU HAVE LEFT, which will likely amount to over $1,000. If you don't pay this all in one bulk amount on ONE DAY, they will begin to charge you late fees. If you get a replacement for your room, THEY WILL NOT TELL YOU, despite saying in the contract that a replacement releases you from what you owe (AKA, they should refund you, but THEY DON'T EVEN TELL YOU). When you call them, they will ask how you 'found out' and then direct you to a different number. Besides, living at UNO is not worth the rent anyway – dorms are messy, noisy, and I knew several people who reported black mold in their dorms and it was ignored by the university. Their classes are often huge lectures with old and upset professors who don't help you to actually learn at all. Majors are limited to mostly business or IT-related occupations with little room to move. Degrees take a long time because they require multiple prerequisites for one single class. UNO LITERALLY ONLY CARES ABOUT MONEY, NOT YOU AS A STUDENT. PICK SOMEWHERE BETTER. There are MANY, MANY BETTER CHOICES.Rachael

Union is a great place if you are looking for a private conservative Christian college with quality education. Their nursing, PA and education programs are some of the best in the region and nation. Their pre-med program for many years had 100% acceptance to medical schools. I had to work part time to help pay school, and the alumni gave back with scholarships and helped pay about a third of my tuition and room and board! Many teachers would pray before each class and would even pray with you individually. It’s a small college which means great teacher-student ratio. Unlike public university with one teacher per 200-400 students, at Union, if I’m not mistaken it was one teacher per 12 students or something around that. Again, it’s a private conservative Christian college, so if your values are on the opposite spectrum, this is probably not the best match for you or your children. It’s worth noting that friends of mine who held different values than Union but chose to be mature, realistic and positive, most were able to graduate well, got great jobs and reported great experience. If you were raised expecting everything to go your way, there is no college or workplace good enough for you or your children. A business will select a target audience to sell its product to. This business and others like it target the seventh day adventist community. What are they selling? an education that is so enveloped in mandatory classes and programs that have nothing to do with being qualified for any kind of a job. Don't think of it as a "college" where you go to "learn" anything. Think of it as a place where adventist parents send there kids so they can marry another adventist. In addition, the fun doesn't end after you graduate. One day, the time will come when you need to defer your student loans… only to have some kid of a faculty member who has a job processing such information (even though they are unbelievably unqualified) misfile or loose your deferment request… not once, not twice, but three times over a two year period. Came here to consider whether I'd want to attend their school for college, and it was a wonderfully whole experience. The students and staff were all very friendly, and were willing to answer any questions or concerns I had regarding the campus. Their facilities were mostly up to date, and the campus is also a short distance from convenience stores and restaurants, which was also a plus. Although I may not end up attending this college, I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at Union and would encourage any unsure students to visit it and see if it's the place for you!George Mwasumbi

I ended up backing out of the enrollment process. After sending my transcripts and FAFSA info. I asked what would be the cost for the classes. I could not get a straight answer from anyone. " We won't know until you are accepted … and enrollenrolled. And to be accepted you must complete the student loan applications process." I made it clear from Day 1 I was not taking out student loans. And wanted to pay out of pocket…. So they could have saved me a bunch of time by saying we won't accept you without loans. And I would have walked away. Even on my final email I sent to them say I was no longer interested because I found a local University that was cheaper and way more helpful the reply I got back was…. This school lacks communication so bad I do not recommend this School to anybody if you would further have questions later on down the road you’re better off joining another school. It’s all nothing but stress since I began the school. And they don’t make situations any easier. Also the professors are mean as hell! They don’t teach you anything. They write out what you’re supposed to do every week and grade and give feedback. That’s it! You have to literally teach yourself with research articles and your text book. And when you do receive feedback from them on an assignment, and you had some errors, instead of teaching us our wrong doings they decide to give you zeros and be rude when leaving feedback. Bellevue University is an outstanding educational experience with top notch staff and professors. I graduated in 2005 and the education I received at Bellevue impacted my career in a positive manner. I have since returned to work on my Masters. The curriculum is up-to-date and reflective of the real world. Rewards in life come with hard work and dedication. I read the comments made and was surprised by the negative ones. However, I served my country for 30 years to protect the rights of folks to practice free speech. I’ve been doing Penn Foster online schooling for almost a whole year now. I’ve found this online experience a great one. They are very helpful in all ways possible. I’ve called a few time and their stuff is helpful and kind. They help so much with the questions you ask and reassurance you need. You go at your own past, fast, or as slow as you want. I’ve struggled so much in the past with schools , I’ve been to over 6+ schools and I started at the point have an IEP/ taking classes for it. Penn Foster online High School, has helped me understand so much and I love how I can learn at my own past. The price is also reasonable. I can stay up till 3AM and do my work. I’ve finished a class in a whole week at times. I’d stay really hard. Not only that Penn Foster always keeps you up to date on thing that are happening with your account. I am the mother of two students at Penn Foster who just graduated. They are 15 and 17 years of age. They were placed in Penn Foster due to being bullied by teachers at their local school. My oldest enrolled with 0 credits in Oct of 2019 and my youngest enrolled with 7 credits in June of 2020. My oldest graduated Dec 07, 2020 and my youngest graduated Dec 23. 2020. They loved that they could go as slow or as fast as the wanted. They loved not having a schedule or having to have any interactions with teachers. Their overall experience was great. I have one more student, my 16 year old step-daughter working on it now. She's 41% done. We also have a 14 year old who will be enrolling once done with 8th grade. This review is for the phlebotomy course at NMC, NMC's teaching, and my clinical experience. The course is broken up into 2 weeks in the classroom and 3 weeks in clinical rotation. I rate the classroom teaching as exemplary. Professor Di Lorenzo is passionate about what she teaches and very knowledgeable about phlebotomy and lab work, as she is an industry veteran. One would think that as a NMC student, being sent to Methodist Hospital for clinical rotation would be a good match, as the hospital and school are linked (students are sent to non-Methodist sites as well). There was no organized training program or trainer, thus no consistency. We were assigned daily to phlebotomists that were working the floor on that day. Overall I trained with at least 8-10 people. There were only 2 people I worked with where I sensed he/she trusted me, had patience, and was willing to demonstrate skills and answer questions, and treat me with general respect. Otherwise, I dealt with poor attitude, at times being abandoned by the trainer (where did they go?), and a general lack of interest in training and responsibilities that go along with it. The person promoted to the training coordinator position towards the end of our clinical rotation is a good phlebotomist. However unfortunately I wouldn't be surprised if this person's severe demeanor puts potential new employees off. During the time I spend with this person, I sensed I was being brow-beaten. I didn't feel welcome at Methodist Hospital as a student, and sensed the students were a burden to be dealt with. As a non-employee, one could also sense the malcontent between employees and management. Said management seemed to take very little interest in our training (i.e. asking how training was going, what our overall goals are, asking how did we did in classroom training, etc.). NMC is a great and reputable college and has a great teaching staff. The clinical portion, which is a large portion of the course, was a disappointment.Omaha Phlebstudent

I'd been holding back on writing a review for Dr. Mitchell and Gutwell Medical because I didn't want to sound overly dramatic with what I want to say. But today marks the one year anniversary of the day she changed my world and, I feel, also saved my life! I had been suffering with chronic intestinal issues all of my life, but my symptoms had been getting increasingly more painful and difficult to live with over the previous two years. My primary care physician had me going through blood tests, a colonoscope, ultrasound, and test after test would show there was nothing wrong with me. I was "healthy as a horse" as far as she could tell, and I was starting to feel like I must've been some kind of hypochondriac. All while the pain kept getting worse and making my life more miserable and difficult to get through each day. It was at that point, a little over one year ago, that I sought out Dr. Mitchell's help to help find what my PCP couldn't. During my first visit with Dr. Mitchell, she patiently listened to me describing all my woes and unresolved pains and she encouraged me to try some other tests, and particularly recommended I get a CT scan of my lower abdomen, which ended up being scheduled for Augst 27th, exactly one year go. The CT scan she urged me to take provided the answer to the question that my PCP had been had been unable to find during the two previous years. The scan showed a cellular mass surrounding my pancreas and the diagnosis was confirmed at a visit to the UC Health Anschutz Center in Denver just a week later. I was suffering from pancreatic cancer which had already metastasized to a couple of spots on my liver. Not the most desirable diagnosis, but at last I knew what was wrong with me, I was not a hypochondriac, and there was a way forward to do something about my pain! If I hadn't undergone the CT scan that day a year ago I don't know how much longer it would have taken to discover the cancer and what the impact on my life would have been. But because of Dr. Mitchell's recommendation we discovered the cancer and were able to come up with a treatment plan to fight it. And during this past year Dr. Mitchell has continued to help me fight the cancer, the side effects of the treatment, and help me feel better now, a year into my diagnosis, than I was feeling three years ago. I sincerely believe that if it hadn't been for her recommendation we wouldn't have discovered the cancer until it might have been too late for any successful intervention. As things stand today, the cancerous lesions on my liver have disappeared, the cancerous mass around my pancreas has shrunk by 50%, and the cancer markers in my blood have dropped from a high of over 660 last October to just 20.3 as of the latest blood test last week. I'm still alive and kicking today. I am hopeful that I have a chance to beat this cancer, and I couldn't be more grateful to Dr. Mitchell for continuing to help me to be here. Amazing Chiropractor. Dr. Huffman has been great in helping my 11year daughter deal with her pains from growing. He not only adjusted her but also took the time to do some research on the root cause of her issues and spent time with her on her 2nd visit to set up a stretching program for her to do at home to help minimize the pain. Upon arrival I was greeted with a very friendly receptionist. Shortly after check in, Nicole, the dental assistant came out to grab my oldest (9 years old). Because our care was new, her and I discussed that I would have dental records and X-rays sent over from our previous care provider. I was asked if I wanted to do the X-rays and I said no since it had just been six months ago we had them done. I also asked for fluoride free treatment. Nicole seemed very put out with my request stating “well now I have to switch everything out.” Shortly after taking my oldest back another assistant came out to take back my youngest. She stated they would be taking X-rays with her like they did my oldest. I asked for clarification because I had just said no and that’s when I learned that they had taken my oldest back and took X-rays after I had already said no. Not inviting the parents back with their minor children (ages 9 &7) was my first red flag, I should have listened to my gut. Nicole then came back out to me and told me “well it is what it is at this point” and that without the X-rays the doctor would not be able to diagnose any cavities. We will not be back. I went in for a cleaning, exam and x-rays. They told me what I already knew, had some deep pockets and bone loss. They said my insurance only covered regular cleanings and that I would have to pay them extra to do the deep pockets. So I already knew this and that I had to wait a year before my dental insurance would cover that. Just wanted my teeth look nicer and fell better by just getting a regular cleaning but they said there is no need to do it. Besides, we just made a lot of money from your insurance company from doing what you already knew. Thanks a lot guys, pretty classy! I called them and told them to remove me from there system. I had a great experience here. I just picked them from a list my doctor gave me after my knee surgery because they were the closest to my house but I got lucky because I don't think I could have found anywhere better. Kevin was my therapist and he knows what he is doing. He is very knowledgeable about the body and how to get it back into the best shape possible. He explained each exercise he had me to do me so I understood the mechanics of what was happening and how it would help me. Some of them were obvious but some of them I never would have known to do on my own without him recommending them and knowing how they would either directly or indirectly strengthen my knee. He took measurements before I started and throughout the program he put together for me. It was encouraging to see my improvement materialized into actual measurable results. I regained the full range of motion as well as the flexibility and strength of my other knee and am certain both of my knees physically improved from my sessions. I worked with several other employees here when Kevin was on vacation and they are all very professional and great at what they do. Kevin put together an exercise routine for me to continue to do at home after finishing at the clinic complete with instructions and videos and everything. It's been about 7 months since my surgery and I am as good as new. Have been back to work since 3 months after the surgery and have been doing great. Haven't had any issues with my knee at all and I have an extremely physical job. On my feet all day getting in and out of a truck over 200 times each day, carrying packages up to 150 lbs up multiple flights of stairs, across rough, uneven ground, etc for 10+ hours 6 days a week. I would not be able to do this if the staff at Soecialized Physical Therapy didn't get me back into the shape that they did. I couldn't have possibly had a better experience than I had here. Everyone working there is friendly, professional, and fantastic at what they do. I highly recommend this place. Let them help you get in shape or recover from an injury or whatever it is you need. The team at Rock Valley Physical Therapy are great to work with. I had an old knee injury that just kept getting worse. My sister-in-law suggested Rock Valley, as she had went to them after a shoulder injury. I called and was pleased at the customer service of the front desk team. I was able to get an appointment that same week. I met with a Physical Therapist, Blake, and a student, Jake. Both, very professional, caring and great listeners. Together, we talked through what the current problem was, recollections of how the injury had progressed and what my goals were. They worked with me, challenged and encouraged me with exercises during each appointment and gave me exercises to do at home. There is also an app that allows you watch videos of the exercises (in case you forgot any of them) and to track your progress. Throughout the series of appointments with Blake, I always felt heard, encouraged and cared for. In today's world where you may get only a few minutes with a provider at an office visit, you sometimes barely have an opportunity to ask questions or get clarification, before they are off to another patient. This is not the case for the team at Rock Valley. They listen, they ask follow up questions and really get to know the people they are working with. I'm pleased with the progress we made and feel that I'm on a path forward to a healthier journey. I had a pretty extensive surgery in March of 2021, and I knew I was going to need physical therapy as part of my recovery. I did a google search to find a Physical Therapy Clinic that was close to home and met my scheduling needs; Specialized Physical Therapy was the first clinic that showed up on my google search! And I am SO incredibly grateful that it did! I have had the most amazing experience there over the past four months! Had to schedule an emergency visit due to chipping a tooth. Scheduling online was super easy and I was able to be seen the same day. Dentist and assistant were nice and professional. They identified the issue and fixed it within 40 minutes. Pain was minimal and even though I was numbed up, it lasted the appropriate amount of time with minimal swelling after the filling. I will be honest. It would be a lot easier and half the distance to drive to Sioux City to see and orthopedic specialist…HOWEVER, the care I receive at OrthoNebraska between Dr. Samuelson, Dr. Arnold, and Jack Nickolite PA, I will FOREVER drive twice the distance to see these orthopedic specialists! I always walk out of there feeling like my needs were completely met and that I genuinely was cared about as a patient. Being in the medical field myself I often get asked who I would recommendation as an orthopedic specialist. I like and trust these guys so much I actually keep a brochure on each of them in my office to refer others to get their orthopedic needs met. We thought our son sprained his ankle in a wrestling tournament a week and a half ago. The trainer at school recommended getting an x-ray to see if there was a fracture. I tried calling a few in-network doctors for appointments, but they were a couple weeks out. The nurse recommended coming to urgent care which we were reluctant (price-wise, worried it would be hiked up!) but she assured us they bill the same for urgent care as they do for regular office visits. We walked in and back out in less than an hour. My son had an x-ray, diagnosis and a new walking boot. We never sat in the exam room for more than 5 minutes alone. Dr. Eric Bonness and his staff are outstanding in every way! I have had shoulder surgery performed twice by Doctor Bonness. I fell and retore my rotator cuff a few months after the first surgery. I absolutely LOVE Milan Laser Hair Removal! I have PCOS and used to have to shave my face daily to prevent myself from having a full on man beard. I was very self conscious and it got to the point that looking in the mirror would bring tears to my eyes. I finally had enough and signed up for laser hair removal with Milan and it was the BEST decision! Everyone is incredibly nice, they explained the whole process and answered all my questions and I never felt pressured to sign up or sign on for more. They were just interested in making sure I got exactly what I wanted. My nurse is so nice and she works very fast but is so thorough! My experience with Milan was fantastic! I went in for a free consultation on laser hair removal, and I am so excited to get the process started. Everyone in the building had fantastic customer service and did not hesitate to answer any and all of my many questions.
