My stepfather who admitted himself in for feeling unwell, and was terminally ill, sadly never had a chance to walk out of icu. He walked in one day in October and never walked out a few days later. When he admitted himself in, he was talking and walking and very coherent. A couple days later, he wasnt any of those three. Maybe they couldn't save him, it was his time..maybe it wasnt…but he was doing way better when he admitted himself in, then laying in his deathbed in icu. When I came in to visit him, he couldn't talk, and had blood practically pooling in his mouth, all over his teeth, gums, tongue and hands. Blood literally all in his mouth, practically coughing and choking on his own blood. The doctors and nurses weren't helping him AT ALL. WE HAD TO MAKE A NURSE GET ALL THE BLOOD OUT HIS MOUTH SO HE WOULD QUIT CHOKING ON HIS OWN BLOOD. IT WAS THE MOST HORRIFYING THING I HAVE EVER SEEN. THEY SHOULD OF DONE MORE THAN NOTHING AT ALL. IT WAS A HOSPITAL OF HORRORS. TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL, COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL. PERIOD. Yeah, nice building but that might be the last thing you see… My own experience, when in because I'm 150% positive I have blood clots in my leg, they did blood work and charged me almost $2,000 for just blood work. I went in the ER, was never put in a room, sat on a hospital bed in the hallway for 3+ hours…the entire time. It was not a private visit…everyone heard everything that was said and discussed. I begged for an x-ray, MRI anything that would show blood clots. They refused and told me it was either bruising or nothing at all. No its not bruising, because ive had this "bruising" for months… Going to another hospital for a second opinion. The doctor or student whoever is was that saw me walked out the same time I did, and beat me to the cafeteria. They let me leave when they were leaving. We practically walked out together. Tell me, HOW DO I KNOW MORE MEDICAL INFORMATION ABOUT MY CONDITION THEN THEY DO?! When I told them what condition I thought I had, they never heard about it and was googling it in front of me!! I told them more information than they even knew!!! Dont waste time and money on a hospital that employees Dont seem to know information medically they are suppose to know and be learning about. I watched my own stepfather suffer and die in the hands of these unprofessional. How many others are suffering from the hands of them?A McCoy

They listened carefully to our concerns and asked every conceivable question. They ordered the appropriate test and analysis for his condition. The medical care provided was great but the cleaning service sucked. My friend stayed for 6 days, when they placed him in the room someone else's paperwork was on the table,used medical supplies were on the counter, the trashcan had used adult briefs in it, the floor had not been swept and blood was on the floor (that was not his). i came in for one reason to get job after graduation been going on two yrs feels like high school classes. Im a criminal Justice major and i like program except one huge thing it needs more hands traning so you prepared for the job once you graduate and not have move on for four degree and they need to have dorminties to live on i hardly see people on campus it almost empety they have two many campuses they need to have one and the paint falling off the school. The advisors are literally the worst I have seen. They are basically unaware of how to advise, impossible to reach, don't follow through, and give no recommendations on pre requisite classes. Now the health science department is even worse. The instructors pride themselves on a high failure percentage. They deviate from school policy and ALL Bio 210 and 211 professors are arrogant and unwilling to support your child. Stay away from the arrogant professors, AND they don't care about your future.AB Gentry

this technical college is the best technical college in south carolina, there was a problem with the workers at the edgefield campus, they lost my transcripts, and they tried to cancel my advisement appointment so they could meet their boyfriend in the parking lot, the students at the edgefield campus were rude, and trashy, they are not going to stop me from going there, the classes that you have to take are wonderful, the instructional methods are excellentJessica Taylor

This is a neighborhood school in the cheraw/Chesterfield region. A really nice size school. Within is pleasantly improved and there is a data window just as an understudy administration window. They pass by room numbers, which isn't excessively useful. I really went to a couple of various entryway until I arrived at the right area. The school should put indications of the specific offices so guests will have no issues once nearby grounds of tracking down the right office. A portion of the staff isn't useful. It is difficult to contact individuals and they don't return calls. I don't suggest this area except if you can't resist. This is a local area community college in the cheraw/Chesterfield area. A pretty decent size school. The inside is nicely decorated and there is a information window as well as a student service window. They go by room numbers, which is not too helpful. I actually went to a few different door until I landed at the right location. The school should put signs of the particular departments so that visitors will have no issues once on campus grounds of finding the correct department. Some of the staff is not helpful. It is hard to reach people and they do not return phone calls. I do not recommend this location unless you can't help it. Southeastern College offers the best Medical assistant program with the greatest professors, one of which to whom I am forever grateful. Dr. Brian Dickens is a wonderfully influential person who always leaves students ready to enter their career. He has helped open doors and provided me with the skills that allowed me to continue my education in the medical field. His friendly yet professional teaching style made the class very interesting and fun for all the students, not to mention he has a great since of humor that always gave us a smile in the classroom. The motivation that drives him to master a topic was channeled into building his students' interest and helping them understand the material. Overall, the experiences that Dr. Dickens motivated me to pursue, along with the skills he taught me in and out of the classroom, have now helped me to obtain my dream. I have read so many of these reviews and they compelled me to write one of my own. I was a student at SEC in 2016, where I pursued my career in Medical Assistant. My teacher was Mr Brian Dickens. Of a fact, Mr Dickens is one of the best teachers I ever had. He goes above and beyond to ensure that his students grasp what is being thought and he's willing and ready to share his knowledge and experiences. He makes his class fun and something to look forward to each day. Even after graduation he still sends us articles on how to be a good MA. He ensures that we are equipped for the job ahead. Because of this, I got a job immediately after my internship. I am still at that job..Way to to Mr D. Also, the faculty staff at SEC is the best. They are very helpful and make themselves available to assist in any area. I love SEC. So I started online in September of 2018, and transferred to campus classes in September 2019. I absolutely LOVE the small class size, and staff for the most part is awesome. Mr. Brian Dickens is a PHENOMENAL instructor, and it is obvious that he cares about his students. He takes the time needed to make sure that you understand the materials, and consistently stays active in everything that we are doing, including allowing us to practice on him to make sure our techniques are appropriate. I would recommend this school to anyone who appreciates smaller class sizes and teachers that care. There is definitely a sense of family within the classes, and it's awesome to have the same teacher throughout my time on campus. I would not recommend this school, I am truly and whole heartedly regretful of choosing this school over all of the other options I had. Something about this school stood out to me, and the counselors here try really hard to get you in. I do not identify with Christian faith and I am not religious at all so I initially felt weird about going to this school, but they mention multiple times that they accept all faiths and backgrounds so I felt better. However, upon talking their forced “Christian Worldview” class, the teacher grades with an iron fist for a 101 class and is just awful. My GPA for sure was going to plummet due to this stupid 101 class that they force on you. Honestly it was so ridiculous that I felt the need to reach out to my advisor. I was trying to come up with a solution because I felt some type of way about this. I suggested them placing me with a different teacher, since this teacher has AWFUL reviews going back years yet they do nothing about it. However they pretty much told me I still had to take the class, I could not switch to another teacher (you cannot pick your own teachers by the way which is huge for me now). Their only solution was that “another teacher would review my work.” This turned me off so bad from the entire school that I ended up withdrawing due to principal which messed up my financial aid. They honestly did not care one bit and obviously know there is a problem but do nothing to address it. I was so turned off that I chose to mess up my financial aid and just pick another school, there was no way that I was finishing out my degree here after this. Go elsewhere !!Taylor

I am an Atheist. I chose this college because it had the focus I was looking for, the delivery method was fully online so I could continue to work, and the price was the best around. I did not feel like being of the Christian faith was a prerequisite. My instructors and professors were not pushy with religion, and for a master's program, I felt like I was able to learn what was necessary for the field I was in. I have a Master's degree and 2 focuses now from GCU and I couldn't be happier with my education and experience. Parking in Garage building#7 on 33rdAvewas the best for going into the areana. We had to checkin at theguard station, drive around it then enter the parking garage. Parking was allowed on the 2ndfloor and above. It was the AFHE homeschool senior graduation. The campuswas very green. The areana was building #38 there is a museum to JERRY COLANGELO here and a beautiful tripple cross monument. The restrooms are spacious and everything but the soap dispensers are automated. I attended Sullivan for their culinary arts program and I have some insight for future students going into the program. First being, have an idea for what you're wanting to achieve in life. Culinary school is very expensive for what you get and there are other, more cost efficient ways to achieve your goals. I recommend working in the industry for at least two years before you decide to go to culinary school. You will find a lot of well-known chefs didn't graduate culinary school. Everything you are learning in school can be self taught or learned in the industry.The key to becoming a great chef is the understanding of the industry. I say this all because at Sullivan its just a matter of time before you're screwed over by financial aid. The entire department is very disorganized. Important papers of mine seemed to keep going missing in their hands making my life very stressful. Also if you plan on doing on campus housing just DON'T. It is crazy expensive and it is exactly like high school. I loved my time at Sullivan don't get me wrong but is it worth the money you spend, NO.Annah Cecil

I haven't had any problems with Sullivan. I have been here for about 6 months and after attending JCC and UofL I must say Sullivan has already given me a much better experience. JCC and UofL let me (at 18) pick a bunch of random classes that were way too hard and never got back to me about any issues, it took way too long to get in touch with anyone for meetings or questions and at Sullivan they are always a quick phone call or office visit away. Teachers seem to really care and take the time to call you on their off time to congratulate you on good test scores, inquire why you are missing class, or pull you aside in class if you are on the brink or failing or even on the brink of getting an "A". If you don't miss a lot of class there won't be any problems, and there are even students in my classes who are active duty and miss class a lot and teachers have been as accommodating as possible. I can honestly say that transferring to Sullivan University from the University of Louisville was one of the best decisions I ever made. Class sizes are small, so it's easy to ask questions and get help if you need it. The instructor's here aren't just trying to "push you through", they actually care that you learn the material. The food served in the cafeteria is great and all of the staff/personnel are super helpful and friendly. My only complaint however would be the financial planning office. Some of the advisers can be kind of rude and you have to constantly call/send e-mails just to get a response for an appointment, in my experience. It's best to just show-up in person and request a meeting. Other than that, I would highly recommend Sullivan University to potential students.Brea M

I appreciate Rasmussen University for having an abundance of resources and many professors and other staff members who demonstrate they want students to succeed. I especially have enjoyed being a peer educator, being privileged to work with Tammy Hopps who is an excellent supervisor and leader, and also being able to work with other peer educators who care for their peers as much as I do. I transferred from a local state college, which I considered sticking with to save money, but in reality, not much is saved when you compare the timeframe for graduation. At the state college it would take me an extra 2 whole years to receive my BSN, whereas at Rasmussen I save 2 years of time because of their second-degree BSN option. I am very pleased with the quality of technology – at the state school blackboard and other resources were slow and did not work as well on my cell phone, whereas with Rasmussen I can easily access everything I need from my phone when I'm on the go. It's inspiring to see so many single parents and married parents in school, some of which also work full time or part time like myself while completing their degree. I had such high hopes when enrolling at this school. However my experience hasn't been favorable at all. I am a current student and I was disappointed because even though I was able to enroll and start classes I really felt unsupported on this journey. I'm realizing Rasmussen may not be the school for me. I REALLY thought I would be supported and encouraged. I was made to feel that Rasmussen would be rooting for me through my academic journey. Instead I am bombarded with emails and calls telling me what I already know… I owe money. No calls or emails about how I can be helped to budget so that I can pay more toward the balance. I'm only being told: what I owe, to get the balance down to $500-$1000 and to take out loans; which will only put me in debt and it's too early to be taking out loans when I've been in school since September of 2021 and have 2 more years. Also this school doesn't cater to single parents, limited income and individuals that HAVE to work. I called to get information, He had no patience and told me Not to proceed a career in Nursing because it was Not for me. Small yet thriving village! Faculty a d staff made us feel as if we were blood relatives vs. Paying parents of future Alumni ❤ . Due to the pandemic, students have not much to do. I'd rather a bored child vs. Crying over my child any day. Registration along with move in day was very swift. Tuition is very affordable as well. Denmark Tech changed my life because I was able to go to school locally, affordably, and come away with my associate in Science and Practical Nursing Degree. The single-parent program paid for most of my baby sitter expenses, while the work study program paid $10/hr for me to work as a peer tutor. The staff are willing to help you if you want to help yourself.. so if you go in and pay you won’t be very successful but if you go in and be about your business and stay focus, you will be successful. Signing up was easy, I was provided help at every step in order to insure my success when I completed my diploma, I felt confident enough to move forward with a degree. Once I completed my diploma and as I have been working on my degree I have had the best career advisor. Even though life got busy with work, school and home issues and sometimes I did not respond, my career counselor Marianne Cooper never gave up on me. If I could give 0 stars I would because this school is not even worth one half of a star. From the first day I even considered attending this school to the last day I will attend I have told myself this was a HUGE mistake. I am an out of state student, on my first day of class no one told me where to go I didn’t even know who my instructor was. I was in the financial aid office in tears because I was so lost and no one cared at all. I was never given a tour of the campus and no one replied to my emails when I would ask questions in regards to the issues I was experiencing. On the student orientation day I was told I would receive a packet of information about the school along with a few other items they were giving out to the new students. I walked into the room it was being held in and not one person said anything to me. I sat through a 1-2 hour presentation having no clue what was going on. And this isn’t even the worst part. When I spoke with my financial aid advisor about getting loans for my classes, initially I was told I would be spending around 350 per class. Then when it came time for my refund to come back I was told that I owed over 1000 dollars in fees. Obviously being confused as to where that came from I called asking what was going on. I spoke with one of the only men in the financial aid department and he was the most rude person I have ever dealt with. I told him how frustrated I was and how confused I was about the situation and why I was being charged for that amount when I pulled out a 1500 dollar loan, and was told that amount would be plenty to cover my 2 classes. When I told him I was going to transfer to a school that actually cares about their students and not their money his response was (with a snotty chuckle) “that’s perfectly fine” he also suggested that if I want to save money then I should “get married faster to help cover the costs of your classes”. After swallowing my pride, paying the balance and continuing to take classes the same thing happened yet again except this time, I have been dropped from two classes for “not paying the balance in full” even though I have a payment plan set up and have paid my dues each month. I have been told that I am not allowed to transfer and that they will not give me my transcripts to do so. I have been told by the head person of the financial aid department that they don’t believe they are doing anything wrong because “we are just trying to get the money from you that you owe us” when describing to her how frustrated I was and how terribly I had been treated all she said was “I am only going to address the issue in regards to you owing us money” this school has a lot of work to do and I would never recommend anyone ever attend here because they truly only care about leaching off of the students and sucking them dry. I graduated from high school in 2012. The statics were stacked against me; African American girl, from a single parent home, childless, no criminal record and first to attend college in my immediate family. I'm a "mama's girl", so I wasn't ready to leave home. First, I enrolled at another local college. The institutions polices & procedures were extensive. This caused me to withdraw from the school in question. Central Carolina Technical College was the next school on my list. My transition into Tech was easy. The staff and faculty were welcoming, patience and encouraging. The course work assignment were realistic and allowed multiple chances to answer the questions correctly. Central Carolina likes to hire in house. I've been blessed to work 3 positions while enrolled in classes. After graduation I worked 2 more jobs as a customer service representative and a tutor at the college. My visit to Central gave me freedom to grow as a person. Life is what you make it. Get involved. Called financial aid between the summer and fall courses multiple times a week to get an update on my Financial Aid (dead-end job at the time) and they never answered. I put in for financial aid Mid-Summer semester and would call multiple times a week leading up to the beginning of the fall semester with my name, Student ID, and number to call back… They never responded. I was unable to get any of the books and by the time I was able to get them it was halfway through the semester? Guess what comes in? The financial aid I applied for 4 months ago and never got a call for an update that I requested easily 10 total times. I had to withdraw from all of my courses to prevent shattering any hopes of a GPA. Then they try to bill me for the money that FAFSA took back? They couldn't update me on when my money was coming in but they don't mind sending a letter, huh? This place is an absolute joke. I am a sophomore at Seton Hall studying psychology. From the moment I came to campus for my tour senior year of high school, the Seton Hall community has been nothing but welcoming. The sense of community I felt from the students and faculty, and the academic support they promised to give is what ultimately led me to commit to Seton Hall. Now that I'm a sophomore, I can say that sense of community and academic support is still so prevalent. As a freshman, SHU sets up each student with an academic advisor and a peer advisor, both of which were extremely supportive in my decision to switch my major. They outlined my new requirements and talked about each of my options, reminding me just how supported every single student is. This was my first onsite class with DeVry. I have had such a great experience with my senior project class here at Naperville. Being that it was my first time, I had to get an ID and receive a quick orientation. The onsite staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. In this session, our class was granted the permission to occasionally use the Addison campus for access to the tech playground for our presentations. Our innovative teacher, Professor Rucks, encouraged us to explore and utilize the facility to aid in our course work. When I needed academic advice and assistance, Mr. Dufresne, Assistant Dean of Academic Excellence, made himself immediately available and went out of his way to make sure my needs were met. When I first started signing up for my MBA I advised them that I had just graduated with my bachelors degree. My goal was to start August 5, and I submitted all my necessary paperwork and cooperated as such. When it got to my transcripts I was advised I could not start because the conferral date was not on the transcripts. The enrollment specialist told me to reach out to my previous school. I did and it was a hassle. I called the enrollment specialist at Capella to advise of the updates to only find out that Capella’s registrar team had already been in contact with my school. I wanted to start on the 5th as it was very discouraging to go through the process to be turned away at last minute. 1). Total waist of time as I took time out of my day to complete orientation and do what they advised of me. 2) I asked to speak with a supervisor who was very vague and could not provide the information needed. 3) I again called Capella to try and escalate the situation, but the manager never returned my call. I feel as if they had me sign up because they were the ones to get paid for each student to enroll and failed to educate me properly in the beginning, which is very misleading and discouraging. Since no one wanted to comply and take responsibility I will be escalating this to the BBB as this is not my fault and I should had been able to start in the promised time given and should have been educated properly.Tearra McCray

The worst university ever! They made me waste my time and my money from the first day, every time I communicated with them each counselor told me something different, and more than a month passed and I did not have an accurate answer on the status of my application, after a month a person from human resources let me know that I had to do my transcripts equivalency again on another website because the one I had already sent twice to them waiting for they review it (and that they themselves told me it was okay to do it that way) was not valid for them to take me into account to start the course this past October. 1- First time the transcripts were not encrypted, so they asked my to ask the institution they send it again but encrypted this time and I did it and sent it again. And after that they let me know that didn’t work for them. So I wasted my time, my money and above all the opportunity to start on the desired date. A very bad job of the staff. Very bad communication with the students who want to start there, and they also contradict each other. They all say different things and waste your time. They are also very rude. I hope that no one has this bad experience, nor misses the opportunity to start the course on the date they planned, and due to the horrible work of other people you lose opportunities in life.Claudia Espinosa

I had a great recommendation from a friend already, but in researching complete online programs to work with my schedule, Capella checked all of the boxes I needed. I had a wonderful experience with my admissions counselor and continue to have great interactions with all communication. I am happy with all faculty thus far and feel that I am learning exactly what I need for my future as a school counselor. The course load is what I expected it to be and the time I spend on classwork is time well spent. I feel very confident that I will be prepared to enter the field of school counseling when I graduate. The very first thing Capella does once you are enrolled is to start you in a class to help navigate your program and get you familiar with the online format. This helped immensely and calmed my nerves for entering into a graduate program online. I feel very well cared for and have not had a negative experience yet! I really like the flexibility of the online courses, the affordability and the variety of degree options they have. My advisors and teachers have been very great but communicating with the other staff at this school is very frustrating. The employees in the financial aid department are very rude and condescending and they hang up on you abruptly whenever they get frustrated with you. The registar’s office is by far the WORST. Very nasty employees in that department who talk down to you and treat you like a child. They seem to forget they work for a college, not an elementary school. One spent 10 minutes arguing on the phone with me just because I wanted my new advisor’s phone number and email. The “career counselors” offer no type of help or advice and they just tell you to “google it” whenever you have a basic question about a certain major. They are also very judgmental if you express a desire to finish with only an associates degree and not transfer to a 4 year, not considering not everyone has the financial means to do so. The call center employees are very disrespectful and seem like they want to find reasons to argue with callers. There are also huge issues with miscommunication at this school and everyone seems to have different answers about certain topics which causes a lot of errors. Certain departments are also not great about contacting back even after leaving numerous voicemails/emails. Overall I like the school itself but they need to either retrain the employees on basic respect and customer service or they need to hire new ones.Resident Anon

The teachers here are all outstanding and they make you feel like they want you to succeed. I have taken College Algebra, Biology and Spanish in the classroom and the instructors were all topnotch. There is also additional help available to students in the free math lab and writing centers as well as Spanish tutoring. The online classes are not that confusing but you do need to pay attention because sometimes you are required to take classes through third-party online textbooks via the access codes. The only problems I had were with transferring credits to the school and getting contradictory information from the financial aid office on one occasion. I do wish the school did a better job with advising students but I understand the logistics issues. Everyone at the hub is friendly and helpful! Use them they are a great resource. To all the people that left negative reviews, I would say "you get out what you put in". This is college and you get treated like an adult.Linda Brady

I was informed that I'm not eligible to apply to the online MBA program because I don't meet the work experience requirements (I have over 6 years of work experience – just not managerial/professional). The business school is not even accredited by any of the 3 major business school accrediting agencies (ACBSP, AACSB, or IACBE), which is actually rare to find in a university as large as UC. Yes, they are a “member of ACBSP” but they are NOT accredited by this agency. Having any of these business accreditations assures students that its business programs are of high quality and adheres to standards based on latest research and business practices. AACSB is the gold standard that uses research as base on practice and accredits private and public universities like Harvard and many state universities. ACBSP/IACBE usually accredits insituitions that are either have created new business programs and are looking to be AACSB accredited or are lower ranking than AACSB acccredited ones and usually uses a occupational & hands on approach to learning. Without out said accreditation(s) the UC mba program actually ranks lower than many for profit business schools like University of Phoenix, Devry University, & Capella- who are all at least accredited by ACBSP, which should be looked at as the bare minimum for students looking into MBA programs.Josh Esc

Aiken Tech is the best school I have ever went to. Compared to Peru State(NE), & Suffolk Community College(NY).. The professors are great, very helpful. THEY want YOU to learn the material and pass. They are not there to TRY and flunk you. The president is very friendly and kind as well as the staff members. They really want to help you achieve your goals. The library is great, very nice atmosphere, and very resourceful. The school has an academic success center where they provide FREE tutoring!! How awesome is that! I also love how new the school looks compared to other schools. Brand new computers in the math lab. PS. Great Security, and Officers that patrol the school. They are always around. Worth test center! I went there for CNA skills test. I was doing Bed pan procedure. Even I was doing wrong. I was trying to wipe it down. The lady snatched the paper towels out of me. That was rude. And another guy was doing blood pressure procedure. Machine was broken. But they didn't help him. So They failed him. That is so rude and unprofessional. We are paying money for the test! They need to fix the machine and treat people with some respect!Yurie Otani Watson

My siblings and I have attended this school. I'm currently obtaining my Pharmacy Technician degree. There were some times where my siblings had to retake classes because the school wouldn't accept them even though it was what the requirement really said. I have had a few bad instructors but most of the time I've had great teachers. I guess it really depends on the student. Overall it's a good school for someone trying to get an associates degree.Anastasia Pierce

I went to midlands tech for many years. I struggled through the nursing program (and associates in arts and associated in science programs) for years as a single mother of a child with disabilities who was also exiting a decade long abusive relationship. I walked on a broken foot for four months through Clinicals in order to make it, had a foot surgery, totaled cars, and 20+ hours a week of therapies for my son with disabilities. And still I made it to my LPN semester only to end up in the hospital the last week before finals. I was told that I could not have a medical drop as I had received one for my foot surgery and was forced to take test 3,4, and the final in the week following my visit to the hospital. My grade dropped from a 90 to a 79.4 and I was told that I’d have to repeat everything all over again. The ombudsman and the VP went to Mrs. Bannister and begged her to allow an exception based off of the healthcare related nature of my situation and she refused. This place ruined my life and left me with no way to support my child and no nursing career after I already had a job waiting for me on the surgical trauma floor at Richland. After everything I lived through and survived. I am still traumatized. This place will ruin your life. DO NOT ATTEND THIS COLLEGE! Edit: In addition to my previous post this school is taking it a step further and denying me the right to participate in graduation after everything I have been through due to me being locked out of my MTC email (PS who only sends email info on a school email? nothing in the mail?) and was unable to receive the notification in time and they are now refusing my participation in graduation. I wish I could let anyone at that school know what they've done to me, my family, and my life. I HATE THIS SCHOOL and I've never hated anyone or anything!Danielle D Jacobs

I am in the Computer Technology program and am supposed to be completing my last semester, however we are at midterm and I am now finding out I have 1 more class to take . This is particularly infuriating because not only did my advisor tell me how many courses i needed to take to graduate, but Financial aid department told me that the aid for the semester was awarded based on how many credit hours i needed to graduate (I am taking the classes that I was told and showed I needed). Overall, in my 2 years as a student, my opinion has always been that's it is very much a subpar school-regarding the staff as well as education quality. My first semester (my education foundation) I had 2 that didn’t care and literally booted you out of the classroom before class was over as they had other things to do. The computer advisors are extremely ill prepared to help anyone. They continuously have no idea what each class will teach you, do not know which classes you should take for any career path, and are usually new personnel each semester. I, like many other students here, have a family outside of school and do not have the means to be a student and unemployed for another semester. Also, they don't have ANY tutors for the computer department! This makes things VERY difficult. The teachers do what they can in their office hours, and I can name 3 or 4 that are worth calling a teacher/professor and actually care about the subject and students. They claim to help you find a job after, and boast they have company’s asking them for their graduates… however this is not easily accessed, nor are there plentiful opportunities once graduated. The level of education and subjects taught seem not to be in line at all with what is desired by companies.srnclb

Horrible, Horrible, Horrible experiences! I have attended multiple semesters here and each one is more of a dumpster fire than the last. I have never had such difficulty with anything in my life or dealt with such rude, spiteful, or plan MEAN faculty members. I have been told countless times to quit my job and focus only on school, please tell me how being the sole provider for my family that would work? Followed by the staffs refusal to talk with me about options when I refuse to quit my job and have to look for odd times to attend classes. This school has been a GIGANTIC regret and I have only ever dealt with about two people that actually cared and WANTED to help like a decent educator would. This college has made a terrible impression. They got me admitted as a transfer student, and I have been preparing for the Fall session online, but to appear in person, and I just found out I missed the registration deadlines because student advising never got back to me. I took the new student orientation and the professor, just skimmed through all the info. There wasn't time for questions, and she cut it short by 30 minutes. It didn't even explain how to register online. I had been in communication and prepared for this session but didn't understand how to register so all the classes I had 'added to my schedule' weren't actually registered, and no one followed up with my questions. I thought I was registered, and even as I try to register now after the fact, it still says I need student advising which no one ever got back to be except for an email to say I already had everything set up. I am torn about this. Now I have to wait another session to get started?! NO! I will take my education somewhere where I can actually get assistance. This is such an emotional drag.Gabrielle Flores

I’ve been doing Penn Foster online schooling for almost a whole year now. I’ve found this online experience a great one. They are very helpful in all ways possible. I’ve called a few time and their stuff is helpful and kind. They help so much with the questions you ask and reassurance you need. You go at your own past, fast, or as slow as you want. I’ve struggled so much in the past with schools , I’ve been to over 6+ schools and I started at the point have an IEP/ taking classes for it. Penn Foster online High School, has helped me understand so much and I love how I can learn at my own past. The price is also reasonable. I can stay up till 3AM and do my work. I’ve finished a class in a whole week at times. I’d stay really hard. Not only that Penn Foster always keeps you up to date on thing that are happening with your account. I am the mother of two students at Penn Foster who just graduated. They are 15 and 17 years of age. They were placed in Penn Foster due to being bullied by teachers at their local school. My oldest enrolled with 0 credits in Oct of 2019 and my youngest enrolled with 7 credits in June of 2020. My oldest graduated Dec 07, 2020 and my youngest graduated Dec 23. 2020. They loved that they could go as slow or as fast as the wanted. They loved not having a schedule or having to have any interactions with teachers. Their overall experience was great. I have one more student, my 16 year old step-daughter working on it now. She's 41% done. We also have a 14 year old who will be enrolling once done with 8th grade. This is THE WORST school ever. I don’t even know where to begin. They lost my transcripts three times, certain advisors have NO idea what they’re talking about, if a class gets canceled for the semester they’ll wait a week before classes start to let you know. My boyfriend had a worse experience than I have. They put him in the wrong major for a whole year. But just a semester, A WHOLE year. He should’ve gotten his nursing degree back in February, but now he has 4 more semesters because these idiots don’t know what they’re doing. We both transferred to a college an hour away to get away from this place. Don’t waste your time and money in this school, it’s a joke. Their 9% graduation rate should tell you enough.Aubrey Evans

I love the advisers and have enjoyed my classes but the waiting period to get into programs is absolutely ridiculous. They claim to have done away with waiting list this past year, but it still takes 2-3 years to get into the “2 year” programs because they only accept like 20 people each year. The waiting list for Dental Hygiene is almost 8 years!!!! If I hadn’t of wasted 4 years here and taken so many classes. I would not be waiting to get into their program and deff would go somewhere else. Most LPN programs are around 16 months long to graduate, it takes 2 years just to GET IN to their LPN program.Stephanie

Before you attend this school make sure the career that you plan on pursuing has this school listed on their application because if it doesn't and you have to select Other your application will probably get overlooked for a hire. (Don't wait until you graduate to find this out) Also make sure that the career that your pursuing will hire you. The worst thing would be getting a degree and you can't get a job because companies wouldn't hire you because they want a more corporate look 😑and you basically have a degree you can't use and end up working at Amazon or UPS.XL
