Review Summary
Last year, Beneficent helped our family navigate the path to Medicaid in order to get long-term care for my stepmother. She'd taken ill rather suddenly and was diagnosed with advanced cancer. Her tumor ruptured her intestines and she ended up needing emergency surgery, which left her with a difficult-to-care-for ileostomy, significant wound care, and a feeding tube, on top of some intensive chemotherapy. After a month in and out of the ICU at the hospital followed by a few more months at a rehab center, her condition was still more than our family could handle at home, but insurance would no longer pay for her to be at the hospital or in a rehab facility. Melanie (at Beneficent) helped us to get Medicaid so we could get the long-term care we needed. It was a stressful period of time for us, and Beneficent helped us so much by easing the burden of sorting out all intricacies of getting set up with Medicaid. My dad has some cognitive issues that make dealing with this sort of thing more difficult and Melanie was incredible at communicating with him in a patient, friendly, and respectful way. She got us the care we needed, and we needed it fast. Beneficent made it happen in the time we needed it. My stepmother made a remarkable recovery and was able to return home after about three months of long-term care. Three months doesn't sound like a long time, right? But it accounts for tens of thousands of dollars worth of care. Beneficent saved us from what would have been a monumental financial burden. And if we'd needed longer care, it would have quickly become a bill in the hundreds of thousands of dollars. Thank you, Melanie and the whole Beneficent team, for all your wonderful help and good work.Lisa Knapp
What a blessing it was to be told about Beneficent and their services by the Hospice social worker. Over the past few years, as I was taking care of my wife after she had suffered a hemorrhagic stroke, the subject of long term care was the topic of many conversations. I met with elder attorneys to discuss Colorado law regarding the qualifications for Medicaid Long Term Care and after hours and several hundred dollars later I still felt I was wandering in the wilderness. Hours spent in line at the office of Social services, only to make no progress. Always wondering, how am I going to get this done when the time comes to file the necessary paperwork (application) for Long Term Care. Well, I can only wish I would have known about Beneficent a few years ago. It took only one short, fifteen or twenty minute meeting with Stacey on the phone to know that they had all the answers I'd been looking for. Than after meeting with Nicole and other staff members in their office there was no doubt, life became a lot less complicated immediately. They had the knowledge, contacts and experience to maneuver through the regulatory process, without me having to do much of anything. My direct involvement with the county Health and Human Services Department was non existent. Which was fantastic for me. If the need should ever arise again I would not hesitate to solicit their services. I sincerely thank Nicole and Stacy for the great job they did, for my wife and I, over the past few weeks. We recommend Beneficent Highly. At first we were very new to this whole process and now I feel like we have learned so much. We could not have done it without Beneficent at our side. Their counselors are professional, thorough, thoughtful and courteous. We felt like we could be honest about our concerns and our family details, which made it easy for Beneficent to give us our options while showing transparency in the logic and maintaining confidentiality. The response to emails was outstanding, speak phone conversations when we needed to as a family get something clarified, and details on how to obtain or do something all the while limiting the frustration. We would not have found "Beneficent" if one person had not shared their recommendation with us. We would like to pass this recommendation forward to all those looking for senior living care. It never hurts to ask and to find out if this is an option for you. Thank you Beneficent for stepping up to help us during this life transition!Rovena Valek

I have been using the services provided for a couple years now for my Mother. Right from the very start Mike and Dorothy have been fully engaged and extremely responsive. The entire care team has been wonderful and proactive. They work hard to make sure that I am well informed with situations and conditions that arise with my Mom. They are well informed and stay on top of changes in insurance and social benefit changes. They have always had my Mothers best interest in the forefront. They have demonstrated that they truly care about my Mom. Everything from the prompt response from my initial call, on a weekend, daily care, great assistance with daily needs to great response to an emergency situation. I gladly recommend the services provided by this outstanding care group. I live outside of the state and know that my family has the best most responsive care that is available.Thomas Labonté

HCA's caregivers stand out in their professionalism in this very varied home care world . In my experience, the ones I knew and worked with were always ready to jump in and compassionately help whenever help was need. Their clients' welfare were their first priority so they all were strong advocates for their clients. Every caregiver was interactive and engaged both their clients as well as the families in daily activities, home and community functions, decision-making, family events. HCA caregivers receive extensive training, and it shows in their caregiving. I'm deeply appreciative of Home Care Assistance of Colorado Springs.Robyn Nicholls

Synergy HomeCare has been great for our family. We are very satisfied customers and would recommend their services to anyone. From their management team: personally involved, professional, proactive to find solutions and always dependable – to their staff of caregivers: hard working, conscientious, resourceful and caring. Synergy has become like family (yet always professional), and has given our whole family a sense of peace in the midst of challenging circumstances as our parents age and have increased needs. For any future home care needs, we will go to Synergy HomeCare every time!Kelly Mulholland
Synergy home care has been a remarkable asset to my mom and my entire family. They care as much as we do that my 96 year old mom is taken care of properly. The home care staff that they provide are outstanding and I would recommend them wholeheartedly. It's as if they are part of the family already. Synergy is always in contact with me, keeping me updated if a situation arises and solves any issues…let me add, we have not had any issues. If you choose Synergy, you will not regret it! Review Summary
I have been working since January of this year to get the proper help and care for my mom. We have been through 3-4 companies that have not met her needs. We had occasion to use FirstLight to help us with our dad when he was passing for an over-nighter to give our caregivers some respite. They were so kind and thoughtful and responsive. So, we decided to try them with our mom. We have been so happy with them. Kirsten and her teams have gone over and above to make sure that my mom had help each and every day that they were committed to (a service lacking with all the others) and called when it was going to be someone different. My mom said "this is the first company we have worked with in 9 months that has quality caregivers that care about the person they are taking care of." Their service is unmatched in my experience with them this year and I will ALWAYS refer people to them – in fact, I already have! Thanks, Kirsten, Lillian and all! You guys are awesome!Hope White
FirstLight was wonderful in providing additional special needs care for my father, who was in reminiscence at an assisted living facility. He needed follow-on physical therapy rehab, and FirstLight worked with dad's physical therapist to gain his trust and confidence to start walking with a walker again. In addition to more personal, regular attention than the assisted living facility could provide, FirstLight was able to recognize a declining condition before the facility acknowledged the problem. They were professional in working with the facility staff in a cooperative manner. They worked with us to tailor dad's special needs, and were great at keeping us informed of weekly status and issues found. Kirsten & all at FirstLight were fantastic at helping us with maintaining my father's quality of life. We highly recommend them to anyone seeking elder care at home.Mark Henrichs
When my wife left because she said she was tired of dealing with a husband that had MS, a senior care advisor recommended I call FirstLight. I could not be happier with their service, quality of care, companionship and compassion. There were several times that I woke up in the morning with a typical MS problem of my left side being almost completely numb and very weak. Thereby making it very difficult to even get out of bed, much less cook and take care of the normal daily household necessities. Kirsten always does an excellent job of finding qualified caregivers on extremely short notice. Like many people, I have my preferred caregiver, but all of the caregivers they have sent to my house are excellent and they have always been able to find one on short notice when desperately needed.Mike Sigler

Review Summary
FreedomCare has its pros and cons. I love the fact that I’m able to care for my mom but there are other companies that offer the same services with higher pay. I have been with the company a little over a month now and am still trying to setup direct deposit although I sent all the proper information. I was also offered classes at intake so I can learn how to better care for my patients and every time I inquire about the classes I get a run around or simply no response. I’ve tried reaching my assigned coordinator but am always unsuccessful. Schedule change is a hassle being that we can never get someone on the phone to assist. The staff and polite but not very helpful. Overall freedomcare provides opportunities they help you care for a loved one and refer other clients who are in need of care.Lydia Aybar
By far THE WORSE CDPAP PROGRAM EVER! As a patient of Freedomcare they hard extremely hard to get in contact with when I need to express my concerns and needs. My home health aide couldn’t get the help she needed with her timesheets, YES I SAID TIMESHEET(s) not one but many of them that Freedomcare refused to help with which resulted in missed paychecks. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME ON FREEDOMCARE!Courtney Santiago

Review Summary
Andrew and the Cornerstone Caregiving are absolutely phenomenal. I didn't know much about what in-home care entailed before this past year, but they have blown my expectations out of the water, and have done an amazing job so far. They are thorough in their approach, realizing that every client is far from a "one-size fits all" model; they ask great questions in intake meetings to find out more about my each family's individual situation. I highly recommend them for their service and high accountability/follow-through process.Anna Bryce
Highly recommend Cornerstone! They have a great variety of caregivers to suit each individual client's needs. Courteous, compassionate and knowledgeable staff are eagerly waiting to help you and your loved ones with a kind heart and warm smile. Very respectful of covid-19 guidelines, and highly qualified/certified staff. Love this company!!Alexandra Domitrovich

From PASCO (Personal Assistance Services of Colorado)
Review Summary
I want to introduce the most amazing and caring home care agency in our state, PASCO, Personal Assistance Services of Colorado. My name's Greg and I am a personal caregiver for my elderly wife. Judy's 76 years old. Her health has been deteriorating for the past 4 years. Three year's ago, I was connected to PASCO through a friend of my parents. Finding PASCO has been the most important job that I've ever had. Everyday, I wake up and see my wife sleeping next to me, with such a peaceful and comfortable ora around her. I couldn't imagine her being in some elderly facility where, who knows what her care would be like. PASCO gives us the opportunity to stay together and gives her the GIFT to stay in her own home and have all of her comforts that give her the best quality of life. As I'm writing this, I'm getting emotional because I couldn't imagine us not being together. Here's a little background on our relationship. Judy and I have been together for 27 years. We just celebrated our 23rd wedding anniversary on October 4th. Judy was 53 and I was 35 when we married. There's an 18 year age difference. We never saw the age. I have two boys who were 8 and 9 when we married. I got full custody of my boy's. Judy didn't bat an eye. She told me that she loved me and everyone who came with me. Judy had already raised 2 adult children, all on her own. Now, she was going to do it all over again. We knew that time would change things, due to our age difference, but we were ready for anything. Judy began experiencing leg and back problems due to degenerative arthritis in her lower lumbar. She also has onset dimentia. It's hard to watch the love of your life slowly fade. She has been doing much better, and her Dr said that it's because she's home in her own surroundings. I've recently experienced a health problem which kept me off of my feet for 3 weeks. I had a bad infection in my toe and had to have it amputated. When I heard the words come out of the surgeons mouth, tears just came rushing out. I didn't hear that my toe was coming off, all I heard was "you can't take care of your wife". When we got home, I immediately contacted Erin and Holly in the HR office at PASCO. I had 3 day's to get a plan together. By Thursday, the day before the surgery, we had a plan. My brother and sister in law would be here for the first three days to attend to all of our needs. After that, my sister would come over every evening and help with our evening meal and get us in bed. PASCO was able to send over someone to help Judy. They got together in a meeting and came up with their plan to send over a guardian angel. Orlinda came to our home everyday for 21 days. She helped Judy with all of her personal hygiene and kept her skin clean and rash free. She became so close with Judy, that I didn't have any worry or concern. She treated Judy as if she was her own family member. You'll never know how deeply I appreciate my brother Danny, my sister in law Lorraine, my sister Isabell, Linda and PASCO. Judy's my world and PASCO personnel know that we're care givers for our family members just for that reason. Linda will always hold a special place in our heart's and our home. I shutter to think what we would have done, had we not had my siblings or PASCO in our lives. I know my story is a little long, but I wanted the world to know how special, loving and caring, the staff at PASCO are. My prayers are that every family member would be able to grow old in their own homes and around those who love them. I just want to say thank you to our Lord for all of our blessings. And thank you Linda Erin, Holly and Rhonda for always being in our corner. I pray for safety and health during this Covid Pandemic. Thank you for reading my story. God bless you all.Greg Leal
I started with Pasco in early 2013… I was welcomed with such warm and caring hands. I had well educated staff that would advocate for my son and his needs, along with help teach me along the way. I know I was cared for as an employee and as another family provider. There was never a question if my son would be cared for in my absence, I know he would be by loving and compassionate care givers of Pasco. A year ago, I had another agency offer me a position. I THOUGHT the grass would be greener… but I learned very quickly that it wasn’t! My son was seen as a dollar amount, and I was only a number. There was absolutely NO compassion or empathy for my sons needs or who cared for him. There was high turnover with nurses and administration at the other agency. I called pasco to come back. Not only did they welcome me back, they have paved the way for my son and I. I know now, my son and I are in the best hands possible! Pasco is the greatest home health agency in Colorado! Danielle Miller is God sent!Mindy Keesling
I am generally not one to write reviews online, however I think it's important for folks to know information when choosing a respite provider. My daughter has needed visits to be scheduled for weeks, and my wife has left many messages with no return call. When someone did finally call her back last week she was told she wasn't with the scheduling department and couldn't help us, but said she would email scheduling. When my wife asked when she would hear back the lady said she had no idea. We still haven't heard back from them and are not able to schedule any respite visits, so for the last month we have had a respite provider and she has done six visits, but won't be paid because we never heard back from PASCO. I wish there was ANY other provider that worked with children on the CLLI waiver. What an awful way to treat families who have so much on their plates already.Eric Handmacher

"Comfort Keepers caregivers travel to clients' homes to provide care services and living assistance. Our work allows seniors and disabled individuals to live independently and as comfortable as possible. With our expert caregivers in your loved one's home, you can rest assured knowing he or she is receiving the best care possible."
Review Summary
We cannot express sufficient thanks to the Colorado Springs Comfort Keepers for their care of my mother and, effectively, my entire family. My mom asked that I call them when it became clear that her lung disease had advanced considerably, leaving her significantly less able to care for herself and her home. Initially, my dad resisted, citing the cost and his perceived ability to take over those tasks. Quickly, all of us realized that there are many hours in a day, and effective caretakers need breaks, physically and emotionally. That is where Comfort Keepers filled our lives. Lori and Glenn were extremely sensitive and responsive to our constantly changing needs as my mom's health deteriorated and we involved Hospice. They clearly prioritized everyone's safety as needs intensified, understood schedule changes when my mom entered inpatient care occasionally, and juggled hours with her caregivers. Caregivers were absolutely amazing. Raven, Lisa, and Tiffany, particularly, demonstrated such compassion and professionalism during their time in my parents' home. They consistently appeared eager to help and engaged in their work. Sometimes, shifts demanded a lot of them. Sometimes, there was little to do as she slept and they had already cleaned a clean house. Nonetheless, they filled those moments with meaningful support and conversation with my dad, held my mom's hand and talked calmly and softly to her for comfort, and provided me with reassurance that they were in good hands when I could not be there. Ultimately, my mom's needs exceeded what they and we could provide, and she went to skilled nursing for two weeks before she died. We are forever grateful that Comfort Keepers helped us maintain my mom's comfort in her own home for as long as possible during her final months. I will call them as my dad's needs dictate, and I will continue to recommend them to everyone I know.Stacy T.
Great management and service I had the pleasure of working with Glenn and his team when my father was ill and could not care for mom. We worked out a plan that would offload many of his care tasks and allow him to recover. Thank you Lori for rearranging your Friday to fit us in at the last minute to make sure you understood what was needed. This was not the last time Lori would go the extra mile for my family. The first day the plan was to go into effect, Dad fell in the early morning hours and was rushed to the hospital. Lori and Glenn sprung into action and modified the schedule for 24/7. They had some trouble finding available caregivers to meet the new schedule and backfilled with Lori (thanks again) and Katlyn from the office. That shows their commitment to service. Lori even came by to give mom a shower because she wanted to make sure that it was relaxing and a highlight of Mom's week (yet another thanks). We were very pleased with the caregivers and how quickly they picked up the routine. A few went way above and beyond expectations (you know who you are 🙂 ). I can't thank Glenn and the team enough for all they have done for my family. Now that Dad is better and is back to his normal duties, I can honestly say that I will miss working with Glenn and his team. Thank you again.Fred
I have come to trust Comfort Keepers with the care of my mother. I am an accidental caregiver. I had no idea that I would become my mother's primary caregiver 3 & 1/2 years ago. Seniors are often easy targets of exploitation and the stories abound are quite sad. I gave up a professional life in Los Angeles to care for mom. Dementia and other significant issues required respectful intervention. We had a few caretakers who actually robbed us in the early going of her care, but I had heard good things about Comfort Keepers and decided to place some trust in their services. I'm glad I did. Every primary caretaker will eventually need time for respite care in addition to home health care for a loved one. And, when that time comes, consider the good folks at Comfort Keepers to help—Dr. MikeAnthony Aragon

Very disappointing! I had talked to the director the day before and she made the place sound great and i agreed to come check it out the following day for a free trial day and she stated she would hook me up with a buddy to make me feel more comfortable. When I arrived a gal come up to me and asked my name and birthday which i told her and she repeated and just walked away, not hold on let me grab someone or have a seat NOTHING. I assumed she was going to find someone my age or tell someone I was there. Five mins later I am still standing in the entry way waiting and my legs are starting to hurt because i have MS and use a walker. I decide to sit in one of the chairs and wait, meanwhile several employees (name tags on) pass me by never acknowledging me, even the guy at the front desk just looks at me several times. I proceed to sit there another 10 mins and than decide to roll out. Everyone had to have seen me I stand out lol or maybe not, but I sure saw all the clients eating breakfast while i sat there and watched. As a director do you not tell employees hey there is a new gal coming in watch out for them? Do you not tell your staff to greet people at front? Hi have you been helped? Hi are you new here? Welcome! something? Seems like the staff if they were attentive would have noticed a new person. I also thought that if a potential client didn't show up you would call and say hey we had a date made and what happened and i would have said yes i was there and this is what happened. If this is supposed to be a second home you guys really need to step up your game.Lady Luck
This facility truly has that "home" feeling!!! It is spotless, has an amazing array of activities for the attendees, the meals are home-cooked, and the staff are dedicated to make each day great! Shelina, the Director, is a ball of energy that doesn't let anything just sit, and what I mean is she wants to ensure everyone including staff and attendees are taken care of and happy. The holidays are made extra special with decorations and celebrations, there are community outings each week, and the attendees really have a voice in what they want to see in their facility. It is a fantastic program and one I would truly recommend!Tracey Cyrene
I have been going to Second Home coming up on 3 years now and I can state from my own personal experience the staff their truly cares and will move heaven and earth to see that each client is treated with the utmost respect, kindness and care as if it were coming from one’s own family. Under the leadership of its Senior Director Shelina and Activity Director Jessica, Second Home is truly just that. Review Summary
****Please see updates below: Our experience with this hospice service was nothing short of riddled with criminal and civil fraud with extensive professional negligence in our opinion. How or why they are allowed to carry licenses and operate while consistently using lies, gas lighting, threats, intimidation, and bullying towards the elderly dying patient, elderly patient's spouse, and bereaved caregiving family or caregiving professionals at the most trying of times in their loved ones final days is astonishing. There really are not strong enough words to describe the level of organized deceit we were subjected to. The name Hospice has always had such a respected and cherished service reputation in the minds and hearts of my family and fellow Coloradoans. When Colorado Palliative and Hospice Care nurses refused to do their jobs or lied to us we had other professional care givers volunteering to help us in our desperation. They didn't hardly believe me when I told them the responses we were getting from the hospice nurses. Until, I let them get on the phone and ask for supplies or services or care plan direction themselves. They were left with their jaws dropping wide open just as I had, as well as anyone listening in on calls or listening to the care nurse in our home. Beware – Beware – Beware This organization is not what the trusted term Hospice represents in your mind. It is a scam based on our experiences. (As an exception to the rest of the experience, we did receive professional sincere service from the company's hospice volunteer and the on call nurse attending to the final details after my father had passed away.) The only reason for one star is the review will not post until you click a star. I can not recommend anyone use this service ever. Run. Update: In response to my review post, Colorado Palliative Requested I contact them. I did, yet they have not responded. Second Update: I am told they some how appear to have had my review here deleted. I will keep reposting until a resolution where they have taken corrective action exists. Having negative yet truthful reviews deleted is not ethical in my opinion, but is consistent with their business practices we experienced. (Third Update 04/07/21: I have been contacted today by their compliance department person who sounded genuinely interested in rectifying any issues and assured me they do not ever want this to happen to any family again. We are providing a written summary to them.)kevin frazier
Wonderful care by your staff for the nearly 2 months that my sister was under your care. Head nurse, Leslie Boroughs, and nursing assistant, Aisha Sawyer, treated my sister as if she were their sister. I could not have asked for more caring and loving help during this most stressful time. Thank you dearly.Randy Cubero

Having needed home health for 14+years..I have learned that most companies are scary!! They.. In general don't care!! Homewell has proven that they care..A LOT!! There is a very high turn over out there, companies keep taking on clients even if they are already short staffed, some are abusive in the way they have treated me… Stress is the one word I would use!! Stress for everyone involved!!! CNAs and home makes from just about every company I've had over the years.. Are always looking for a different job.. They are treated like garbage!! Thus they come to work but don't want to be there at all!! I had a siezure while a CNA from professional home health was here…I found out later that when she called 911.. she called the office as well.. The office told her to leave!! She was appalled!! "Leave her on the ground seizing?.." she asked. The answer was.."yes.. Don't be late to your next client". My CNA decided to ignore them and stayed until EMS arrived. Homewell sets the bar! They not only treat me with respect (they don't yell at me if I need to shuffle my schedule because of a test or appointment).. They treat me the way every person needing home health should be treated!! I don't have to micromanage or worry about things getting done or things going missing. I can rest easy.. For the first time in 14+years.. Knowing my needs are being met in a safe, respectful, self driven way! I cannot tell you how nice it is to not worry about things going missing or getting broken or misused!! Thank you Homewell, for fighting my insurance to get the appropriate amount of time to get my needs met! For your attitude and encouragement to get me out into the community.. To do something non medical!! Its easy to forget or schedule appointments so tight together.. That there's no time for anything else!! Thank you for taking such good care of me!!! There are no appropriate words in the English language that can express my gratitude…Audrey Bocock
If there were ten stars..I'd have highlighted them all.. Hands down! I have been homebound and in need of caregivers for 12+ years, I am still a…fairly young Female veteran.. I have never received care at this level! I actually know that my needs are being addressed and don't have to worry about sacrificing one thing for another..i.e. groceries instead of a shower… I am treated with respect for once instead of a means to a paycheck. If you or a loved one is in need of some home health.. Wether it be for recovery after a big surgery or because of limitations/handicap. Take my word for it…Stop looking!! You found the One of.. If not the only company that treats it's employees and clients alike with respect and understanding.. Having a very high standard for it's employees and thus conduct. I've been with my fair share of companies.. Some of which left me high and dry without any care for months. Thank you Ms. Dominguez! You created a beautiful company with the heart in the right place, with compassion and understanding for client and employee alike! I finally… After all these years…can breathe easy and not feel like I'm on egg shells. I cannot thank you and your staff enough! I feel human again!Oodrej
I do not know where I would be without the help of Kayla, Jessica and Julie. I have been with HomeWell for 2 years and they are the best home care agency. Caregivers help me with laundry, showers, and driving me to the bank and Walmart. They are professional, responsible and sweet as they come. HomeWell has gone out of their way to help me when times have been tough. Thank-you from the bottom of my heart.Ray Harriman

Review Summary
I cannot say enough great things about Amada Senior Care. I started with this company in August 2021 and was a Caregiver for the company for exactly a year. That year itself was so rewarding and fulfilling helping clients across the Springs and Denver. In August I accepted a position in office so I have truly seen the hard work put in on BOTH sides of this company. Amada truly tries to satisfy BOTH their clients and caregivers. I have worked for previous agencies before, and the very start of my employment with Amada was weight off my shoulders! I get paid on time, respected by all staff, and they are always willing to help you succeed in whatever path you may be on! Ken loves his company, his clients and his employees. He makes sure you are appreciated and that your work is known! Ken makes sure to keep our work environment happy and enjoyable, by hiring the best staff! I would recommend Amada for CARE for your loved ones, as well as a GREAT employment opportunity.Alli Sawyer
During college I worked as a caregiver for Amada. I fell in love with the company and their dedication to not only their clients but their caregivers. Being apart of Amada is like being apart of a family. Now after college I was hired into the office staff as a scheduler and was then moved into the HR department under Emily as a recruiter. This is the best team I have worked for with a dedication to clients, caregivers, and the community in general. As a recruiter my goal is to find like minded caregivers who are dedicated and love our seniors as much as we do.Krys Hartling
Amada Senior Care is a tremendous company to work for. Flexible hours, opportunities to work with people where you can really make a difference, and super staff that supports you in every way. It's rare to find a company that truly cares not only about the customer, but also the employees. Ken Jensen is an outstanding owner that believes in the ethics and purpose behind the business, behind the reason for the business. Currently I am working at the Mackenzie Place location and have wonderful clients and great co-workers. Couldn't ask for a better team.Diane Dimbat

Working at Maxim as an RN has been a wonderful experience. Maxim highly values it’s employees and provides flexible schedules and competitive pay rates. It is also rewarding to serve patients in an environment that ensures continuity and quality of care with regular meeting to evaluate patient’s progress. The staff members at the office are friendly, diligent, and always ready to help.nathalie benavidez
I've been a CNA for Maxim Healthcare for sixteen years. The personnel and nurses have helped me whenever I had questions regarding care for my daughter-client or questions concerning paperwork and/or protocol to follow. Whether I've walked into the office or phoned, the greeting has always been friendly, informative and very helpful. I enjoy working with this team!Roberta Bertrand

First, I would like to say what an amazing opportunity to be able to receive acknowledgement in the form of payment. Since forever, I have cared for my fourteen year young grandson with great honor privilege, integrity, compassion and adventure! Joining Colorado Family Caregivers is matching those same values, with professionalism!. The prompt support, real care, and concern, plus training as the least of the individuals playing a part in his care is as if I were the CEO of the company! Honoring my grandson in this manner is extraordinary and rewarding those who have strived in his success is superb! Colorado Family Caregivers is heaven sent!!Lonnie Penn
Just recently started with Colorado Family Caregivers, and so far I can only say that transferring to them was the right choice for my family and I. I've been a CNA parent for a few years now, and my experience with them so far has been nothing less than excellent! They treat their employees with great respect, they are transparent and honest about wages and policies, very easy to communicate with and always prompt in their responses. Always available and willing to help in finding answer or solving issues. They made the whole process smooth and easy. Great team and family to work with, I am happy to be with them!Micaela Signorile Herman
I adore the fact that they have a family member with special needs and understand the processes and what we go through as parents and providers for our children. CFC is the one and only company that I would recommend for taking care of the needs of your loved ones with disabilities.. The rates are exceptional compared to everyone else and the process was very easy and onboarding was quick and efficient and they will guide you through every step of the way if needed. So happy I found them, for they have been truly a lifesaver and blessing for my family.Bunny Banks

Voyager has been a tremendous help to our family. Raising a little one with disability and my husband transitioning to become a full-time caretaker hasn't been easy. But Voyager helped to get everything in place, despite all the complexities in getting all the approvals and paperwork completed. They explained the programs thoroughly, what all was involved, worked well with our case management team and continues to provide the support we need. Their support and engagement has been a huge relief to our family financially. Thank you!Adeline Flower
We started using Voyager Home Health Care 2019-2020 for my elderly mother who is on Oxygen with COPD. My adult Daughter Ava Boone is my mom's caregiver through Voyager Home Health Care. Review Summary
Compassus Hospice and Palliative Care is extraordinary in the care for patients and families alike. Hospice care is not only for patients, but also to give support to their families, during and after end of life. The Palliative program is in place to support patients and families while they are continuing aggressive treatment, and build a relationship with the team. Compassus goes above and beyond for all. Compassus works as a team approach, and all the employees work together for the benefit of the people they serve. I would not use any other company to care for my loved ones.Jennifer Cook
So far, the company has shined, coming in to the center my mother in law was , and Larissa was very compassionate towards all of us and her needs. When the nurse came to assess her once she got home, she had us in stitches, laughing along with her. Lisa was very friendly and put us right at ease. When we explained how this cancer diagnosis had overwhelmed us, she stepped in with a compassionate response that definitely helped us. We look forward to working with the rest of the staff. It DID help that the doctor there was her doctor while in another rehab earlier in the year!ruth albright
Our family really appreciates how consistent everyone is at this company. From the office staff to the nurses and caregivers. Compassion is there true calling. My grandmother has been on Hospice at home in our care for going on 7mos. It can be overwhelming at times and they are always there to support us. Thank you doesn't begin to express our gratitude from our entire family. I have been a licensed CNA and I would work with them or for them in a heartbeat and trust them with my loved ones.Christine B

Review Summary
Horrendous care. Constantly having to call and ask for visits, baths, equipment, medication, supplies, etc. With my late father's hospice care (different company), I never had to call and request all this, they came to visit him 5 days a week and we're able to see what he needed and get it done. And when I do call this company it takes days to get it done and when they say they'll call or visit, it doesn't happen, you have to call twice to make it happen. Even the medical director of the assisted living facility does not recommend this company, she already has had to help me and argue with this company for my mom's care. This is not how hospice is supposed to work. Don't walk, RUN away from this company! Update: In the process of switching from this company, already talked to the nurse assigned to her case. We'll see for whatever time is left on her case, what changes they make. As of right now it's still like pulling teeth to get any medications (including comfort ones) in a timely manner to the facility.free2beecrazy1
Personally, I was very disappointed with the care my friend received at home. She had a different nurse every day.( They all seemed nice) I stayed overnight to give her medications, but I assumed that during the day she was getting good care. On the evening that she passed the RN stated she had a very painful day and it didn't take me long to realize that her care during the day was sorely lacking. She had been in the same position all week and when they finally moved her on her last day, she had bed sores on her shoulder, elbow, hips, and knees. I'm sure it hurt like heck to be moved that late in the game. She had a drainage tube in her back so I never moved her knowing that I was not trained to do it. I will be needing care before long and this is one company that I will not be contacting for help.Veej Williams
I am a nurse with Abode Hospice. I have never worked for such an amazing company. I feel valued and appreciated every day. I work with over 50 people and I LIKE everyone of them. I often hear my administrator say "It is the right thing to do." I never hear her say that it is not in our budget. I love that I am encouraged to take my time with a patient. Sometimes the most important thing I do in a day is take time to just sit and listen to a patient or a family member. I thought I was done with nursing until I found Abode Hospice. It is a privilege to be a part of the varsity team. I recommend Abode Hospice as a stellar place to work and a business that truly cares about their patients and families.Ellen Foster

Review Summary
The Goddard School of Colorado Springs is the best daycare in the area. I have been to two others before settling my Daughter here. The STEM program/curriculum for both young and kindergarten kids is fun and challenging. My daughter is extremely happy about going to school and always have so much to talk about when I pick her up. The teachers are all certified and they are all professional. It is easy to communicate with them as well. The teachers are organized and have well thought out lesson plans. I know my child is truly learning each day rather than just being "watched." I really respect how well behaved and attentive the kids are during activities. They are focused and respectful at a level appropriate for their ages. The owner and director are superb and treat every kid as their own. The other thing I love is that you give them your home cooked food (Nut Free of course) and pack snack that your kid like to eat. We are vegetarians and its huge for us. I would recommend this school to anyone looking for a daycare you can really trust and feel at home with, you can not find a better place in the area.Ankita Bhagiya
The best decision I ever made for my son! He has been enrolled at The Goddard School since he was three months old. Being in the military, consistency is a must for children and being able to have my son in The Goddard School provides just that. The facility is clean and inviting. The staff are very caring and knowledgable in the Early Childhood field. I really love the daily reports and the photographs which show how much my child loves it here. The teachers provide a daily curriculum and my son will definitely be ready for Kindergarten. I would recommend this school to others, especially if you value education, caring professional staff and want to provide your child with the building blocks for future learning. Looking at other reviews on this site some people are concerned about the teacher turnover. My son had the same two teachers all year and is now thriving in Elementary School. We miss this school and all of the friendly faces.Marc C
We loved our experience with the Goddard School in Colorado Springs! Our son attended the school from 3 months to 3 years and we loved all of his teachers and every classroom. He had an amazing time and impressed us constantly with the things he was learning. He knows all of his numbers and colors in English, Spanish, and sign language! He can also say the whole alphabet and recognizes most of the letters. Our son made some great friendships with the other students too. We only left the school due to moving out of state and to an area that sadly has no Goddard Schools. We used our experience to help us find another school comparable for our son because we liked it so much. We loved our experience at Goddard and would recommend it to anyone!Janine Brown
