20 Best Bsn Programs In Mission Viejo, CA (2022 Updated)

I am currently in the vet tech program( just finished term 1 and starting term 2) here are a few things I wish I knew about the program before I started. UPDATE!!! STRONGLY suggest getting your generals done else where!!! Almost done with term 2 and Looking back, the program would be soo much easier if you were just taking the vet core classes. Seriously.. if you are really thinking about going here fresh out of high school and think you are going to be fine with the work load you are in for a rude awakening.. just please take my advice and get your generals done somewhere else. You will actually enjoy your time here if you are just taking the vet core classes because the vet related classes and the generals work load at the same time is extremely stressful because again you will be taking roughly 20 credit hours( that’s general classes and vet core classes) AND the material is very rushed. -curriculum is extremely rushed -instructors are a hit or miss (3/5 instructors were really great and knew what they were talking about and we’re able to explain really well, other 2 did not know the material and did not know how to effectively teach/explain/ or answers any questions about the material they were teaching. Pretty much had to self teach in both classes) -the parking situation is a hot mess. Parking on campus is extremely limited and the street parking is a joke. -The remediation assignments (Student services assigns you an extra assignment on top of your homework in whatever class for being 15+ minutes late or missing the class or leaving 15+ minutes early ie. Handwritten 100 bullet points on the slides of the power point you missed. The instructor then has to sign off on it and you turn it into student services no later than 1 week of the absence/tardy) is extremely unnecessary and just adds more stress. -But all in all still a better program than any of the other schools I was looking into before I started the program. I’m still loving what I am learning about and the hands on labs are amazing. My classmates and I are extremely close and working together and helping each other study is a must to succeed in every class. If you do find yourself struggling there are so many resources the school provides to help you ie. free tutoring from a peer tutor, tutoring from your instructors per request via emailing them. Scheduling an appointment with the Student success coordinator (helps you plan your study schedule and helps with testing stragies). Just know this is a tough program because it’s rushed and you WILL be taking anywhere from 12-20 credits hours. ( this is decided based on if you have transfer credits from other colleges ie. math 1010, Biology1010, college writing, etc. I was taking 20 credit hours. I did not choose this, your schedule will be chosen for you by the school) and you will be eating, living and breathing veterinary medicine for the next 2 years. ( also I want to add that it is STRONGLY recommended that you DONT have a job. At least in 1st term. In orientation they go more in-depth about this. A lot of my classmates including myself quit our full/ part time jobs after 1 month in the program because it was too much) If this is something you think you can handle then it is definitely worth it!Kaitlyn Hart

This school has all the technology you could ever want, and provides a lot of support. I wish I could have afforded to go there. That’s the only downside, is the really high price. I should add, the price is high for a reason. They buy top of the line technology to teach their nurses and vet techs (those are the only things I’ve seen myself, and I am 100% sure they put the money into their other programs, too.) My current financial situation makes the school unaffordable, but the price is 100% worth it. I was going to make myself afford it until I was told about a deposit. I WAS shocked by the $400+ deposit they required during orientation (for the LVN program.) I wasn’t told about it except less than a week before orientation. There was really no iltime for me to prepare. My financial aid advisor, Vanessa, was AMAZING and tried everything to make the school more affordable. My academic advisor, Nikia, was the BEST. She really helped to make me feel comfortable and helped teach me more about the program.Jessica Laroche

The program I was in (vet tech) was great for the most part! However there was a lot of bumps in the 2 years and disorganization when I was there. Teachers were a hit or miss you could get a great one and would love that class, or you would get one you dreaded and never wanted to go to class. Being the first class to graduate from that program we didn't get all the amazing equipment that the students have now. This program over all is a great experience because when you are struggling or need help you can find teachers always doing tutor sessions or the LRC always is willing to help you learn things as well. they are doing the best they can to make sure things run smoothly from now on. I would recommend this course now because it seems like things will run smoother now that they learned from passed mistakes with my class.Allison Kunic

The administration is not interested in offering equal access to education for parents who are looking to get one. The college is not interested in reestablishing the on-campus child care center. Also the administration knew the science building chemistry hoods were not functioning properly for years and never let students know. The professors are incredible but if you are a mother good luck because the college doesn't care that in order to access education, women with children (those who require an education for a chance to improve their children's future!) need some equitable student services. Don't take my word for it scroll through the reviews. Most reviewers are male even though majority of students who attend the college are women. Read into it what you will but the facts remain that the college has a child care center on campus but refuse to renovate it even though property taxpayers agreed to pay for it (measure g 2004).Melissa Martinez

The college incorrectly listed me as a non-California resident. When I attempted to fix this, I found that I could not get in touch with ANYONE from the business offices. Eventually, they started having a debt collector call me because I wanted to sort out the residency issue so that I would not be charged nearly $1000 for my classes. This has been going on for months now, I attempt to call their offices almost every week and no one answers me. I'm beginning to suspect that they are just trying to force me to pay the non-resident fee so that they can get some extra cash. All in all, I have had a horrible experience with the administrative services, and if I could get on the line with anyone, I would have been happy to have paid the appropriate tuition months ago.Laura Israel

Overall, the colleges is good. However, other colleges are doing much better. $ stars for the efforts in trying to become better. Recently they have started to work on the new Gymnasium building. Teachers and professors are good but they are very diverse. The teaching style of all the teachers differ and they might not be ok with everyone. So choose your class wisely. Overall the crowd is good but sometimes you might find some not so friendly people. I am not sure about the safety. Most professors are very kind. The school as reopened for in-person learning. The food and library are open. Staff, students, and visitors will need to fill out a health screen to be on campus. (I'd say take a screenshot to easily show the green check) The construction in the middle of campus is done and the beautiful campus is opened up. I like the school, and the professors are great. All of the professors I have taken have been kind. However, the staff- Araceli the manager from the mission college bookstore is extremely rude. She lacks customer service skills. She will yell at you in front of the entire store to the point where everyone is staring. I have had two negative encounters with her, and I am a very polite person. I have kept my calm even after being completely humiliated by her.Samantha Cruz

Mission College has one of the most supportive and enthusiastic professors. I enjoy coming in to all of my classes because they engage me into their lesson plans. Not only that but they make sure that all of their students are understanding the assignments and offer alternative support systems for them to succeed in the classroom. I was a student back in 2018. Came back for the spring 2022 semester, and the "president" Ms.Katrina VanderWoude, has ran this place directly into the bottom of the barrel. I remember when President Larry Frank was here. Good times. He was amazing. I never seen the problems I see now when he was here. Anyone else would have handled the pandemic better than VanderWoude. This used to be my favorite school, I was always saying to family and friends how much I loved trade tech. Well that time has passed. The outside of campus is filthy, the sheriffs are rude, they don't open the gates in the morning as they should, website is hardly updated, bookstore is garbage, no help for students in terms of supportive services etc. Its no wonder enrollment is low. LACCD can blame Ms.VanderWoude for that. The only upside is the professors. And yes I am fully aware Ms.VanderWoude is "Dr" but since lacks respect for students and staff then I will lack respect for her. Trade tech is my home school but I will be switching it to ELAC. That campus has surpassed trade tech in every possible way and I love going there for classes. I hope VanderWoude gets replaced soon for the sake of the campus.Karina Gomez

I am currently in the third semester taking the carpentry program. Los Angeles Trade Technical College is a great school. October will be 3 years that I have been attending this college. I also got my GED through Trade Tech.The majority of the professors and staff are very respectful and kind. Update I finished the carpentry program and found a job in the construction field with great pay. I would definitely recommend Los Angeles Trade Tech Technical College to someone that wants to learn a trade or just take some classes. From my first experience there it is very overwhelming while it confusing to move through the campus and find were to go at first, once you visit continuously it becomes much easier. I attended their physical therapist program for a semester and a half (after being offered a fellowship). I have to say, it was one of the most disorganized things i've ever witnessed in my entire life and one of the worst experiences of my life. Luckily, i realized early enough to bail after paying only $40,000. No written policies/procedures for 3 months (they were running late), hard to access labs (you have to be friends with another student, its a "social thing" per administration. Problem is, i dont drink, i dont really like ping pong, and i dont want to date someone in the program, although there were several couples enrolled together in the program. Administration views this as "professional behavior".). There is so much bs, i couldn't possibly fit it all here. If wild conflict of interest is your thing, then this is the place for you. Chapman's mascot is a panther, perhaps their motto is "Chapman University – Where education is predatory."Craig Zach

As always, campus is lovely. I was very impressed by the fact that they maintained the beautiful landscaping and fountains even during the pandemic when they had no students there. Now the people are back, and it is autumn, they have once again shown a beautiful smaller campus…the potential. Lot of people trampling around on the campus and they are still keeping up the appearance. As far as the school is concerned I don't have all that much contact but they certainly seem to have a nice crop of students. The law school however is still suffering significantly, at least among those of us in the field, from their association with John Eastman, he of the Trump insurrection fame. I don't know how that will pan out for them. Still…. Worth a wander amount the grounds & the fountains with a coffee.James F. Haas

The campus is calm and lovely with a colorful taste of student life. The long standing history of the school provides a global perspective for all students. The support staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The facility is nice and clean. There are reasonable varieties of selections in cafeteria for all meals. Overall, I had a great experience attending a three-day conference on campus hosted by the NCACLS and SCCCS on campus.Bianca Chang

This school only employed extremely right wing, openly racist, often under-qualified staff when I was attending from 2003 until my graduation in 2006. The accreditation from this school was not recognized by any State schools or other colleges, so I had to remain at this bigoted institution unless I wanted to spend the time and money to start my education from scratch elsewhere. A very nice campus in the OC. I went on a tour for counselors here about a year ago. This is a nice place if you want small classes and a nice living enviroment. Your professors really get to know you and you get plenty of connections before you graduate. Also, plenty of study abroad opportunities. Finally getting to go to college Cypress college is a perfect fit for one I know the area quite well and the ladies in the financial aid department were so helpful they were more than eager to find out any and all blocks that were happening that was preventing my semester to start and corrected it right away Cypress college has so many classes so many organizations that actually help people within the community whether it be for shelter food medical schooling clothing counseling and if they do not have what you're looking for they will get the information to get you to the proper place I witnesses good people at that college I'm proud to go thereJackie Ray Bass

I applied 7/23 and never received an email containing my student I’d. And yes I checked my junk mail. I emailed admissions per my acceptance email after not receiving my student id after 5 business days. Received an automated email saying someone would respond within 48 hours. NOTHING. Tried their “virtual drop in counseling’ and the page is not accessible. Called the college on a Thursday and get a beeping tone. Totally unprofessional. I’m guess the college is closed? Or they don’t have the tools to properly run a college? This is my WORST experience enrolling in a college ever!!!Brooke Bennett

I love Cypress College, I've almost finished my GE and I've only had one teacher that wasnt so great. The campus is safe and beautiful. The counselors are very nice and helpful. They have a financial aid office that is also very nice and helpful. I plan on transferring from Cypress College and go to Biola. So far, my experience has been great. Today, there was free lunch that was given out! I feel that Cypress College does it's best to serve their student thoroughly.Joy Hong

Graduated here in 2018. Yes the school is not perfect. but it is affordable and offers all sorts of academic programs for students & for those who are interested in learning a new skill. A few issues with the homeless people who easily make their way in the school's restroom and leave all their mess inside. A bit more security is also needed because of the area surrounding the school, but overall it's a good community college. Looking back now, I miss every moment I got to spend here. Adventist Health Center is conducting a Vaccine center at The Glendale Community College in the parking structure at the top of the hill right off of the 2 Fwy Off the Mountain exit. The staff are very helpful. There is very clear and strict mandates on masks and health protocols. Please follow signage and bring your masks. You will need your ID for check in. The nurses are very helpful and many of them have worked in the ER with patients and have seen the effects of the pandemic. So most of them are very happy to administer the vaccine and help prevent the spread of this terrible disease. We are all so happy to share the change in the world and grow together. There is Hope and these are the people that are here to spread that hope. 3👍🏼’s out of 3👍🏼’s the staff and Nurses are very helpful and thoughtful.SEAN GONZALES

Theres an old Armenian blonde lady in Financial Aid office with glasses, shes honestly and honestly the rudest person ive ever seen in my entire life. I dont know what was going on in her life that moment but she did not help me whatsoever to give her drop off my fafsa documents about academic appeal that I received from the outstanding counselor here in GCC. The fafsa that lady referred me to find a random person to help me upload the documents into the website which she didnt even told me what website to upload to. The scenery of Soka is amazing in the early mornings and at sunset. The place is flourished with all sorts of plants. The food is amazing and the Dorms are high ceilings and spacious. I love coming here every summer for music programs, the campus is very homey and super welcoming. The emergency room doctor was awful-incompetent and non caring! My husband was brought in by ambulance as I believed he had suffered a stroke. The emergency room Dr. tried to tell me he got dizzy because he ripped off a bandaid – kinda like when someone sees blood and faints! I was speechless-I asked him if his father or wife had the same symptoms would he send them home and he said yes he would. I told him I wanted my husband to have an MRI first. He said “Well, you’ll be waiting all night. There’s a lot of other people waiting for an MRI.” He told us he’d give us a few minutes to decide. He came back to the room and I said “ the CDC guidelines post the symptoms of a stroke and my husband has all them! He then said “ok, you are staying the night then.” A few minutes later a wonderful Dr. came in and from there my husband was put in the progressive stroke care unit and everyone there was absolutely fabulous. I give them FIVE stars!! My husband did stroke in three parts of his brain- thank God, I didn’t take the “advice” of the emergency room doctor. My mother was seen last night in ED Mission Hospital. We had a terrible experience. The laboratory and Radiology ( X-RAY) turn around time is a disaster. As a Trauma hospital the Turn around time for laboratory test results must be available <45 minutes. It takes >4 hours to get all the results back. My mom was negative for COVID they didn’t even test RSV or Flu. She has fever for 2 days didn’t even test her for Lactate for possible Sepsis. At the end they test her for Flu. …omg its positive Flu A. Can’t you imagine it takes them > 4 hours to rule out FLU A ( the test takes only 20-30 minutes) all i hear from the receptionist is “ we are very busy” … are you guys out of Ratio? Hows your patient experience? I think your patient length of stay is Terrible. Should we discuss this with CDPH to check your hospital performance as a level 1 Trauma hospital?Randz R

The worst ER room I’ve been to and I’m from a higher population city. They misdiagnosed me until I demanded tests, were snarky that I was upset, down right rude, after the results of tests were severe they were apologetic. After being referred to a surgeon I was unable to see them because I was out of area, I returned with worsening symptoms, and everything on my sheet they gave me to return to ER if I was experiencing. In extreme pain with a worsening symptoms they left me in ER waiting room for over 6 hours. I left to be miserable at least in a bed. Awful management, they don't listen to women, barely give exam or run any tests. The nurse said his only job was to get me out of there. Do not go here your life depends on it! Oh when I got a room it had no bed- I was sat in a waiting room chair in an ER exam room with a cervical injury.Jackie Lenz

They have excellent children ministry as well as singles, senior, Hispanic, Mandarin and many others. I attended school here for 4 years and was treated awfully. I was bullied horribly and most often it happened in front of a teacher and none of the staff stood up for me. The only attention I got from staff was about how I was dressed “scandalously” and getting in trouble for standing up for myself when I was getting verbally harassed.Mars Derrick

yesterday 7/27/2020 I officially graduated from Concorde college (MA PROGRAM) and all I can say is if you’re looking for a school to help you learn about the medical field Concorde is it. They have great teachers willing to help you as much as possible. They have a great computer lab, always open to help! The school is very well kept and cleaned! Staff also does little events here and there just to show appreciation to the students which I loved. The staff here are AMAZING! 2 staff I would really like to shout out are ARIANA HERTZ & MONICA CARLOS! Both of these woman helped me so much and went out their way to make sure i was doing great at Concorde. Security GEORGE was also such a great staff, he always would help as much as he can. But overall all staff is great, super helpful and super friendly. I felt so welcomed at Concorde as soon as I got there! So glad I came to this school because not only did I get an education but I made some wonderful friends here too. I LOVE CONCORDE💙! This review is overdue. But I wanted to wait until I had been working in my field a couple of years to review. I graduated in 2019 with my LVN, and I was able to obtain my license in January 2020. I was well prepared. Passed my nclex on the first try. But I studied and I followed the direction the instructors and staff recommended to get there. Sometimes it felt like they were dragging us through the ringer, when it came to assignments, tests, clinical etc. But it was well worth it. I started my job confident in all of the basic LVN skills. Vital signs, GT, wound care, interpersonal relationships etc. This school taught me so much about myself. If you are considering a career change; or a jump start to your career. I highly recommend. But don’t go here thinking it will be easy. You WILL have to put in the work. Also another tip, communication is key. If you don’t let the school know what’s going on, they won’t be able to help you.Chynna Hooper

Garden Grove Concorde is what you expect out of a school. I love this campus. I enrolled here in 2006 for the Respiratory Therapist program and graduated in 2008. During the program, they provided all the resources i needed to get through all my courses such as tutoring, 1 on 1 help, and most importantly the most friendliest, attentive staff from the front the front desk all the way to the top. i would like to mention someone who has help through my toughest times, Lynda Carlos. When i was having trouble with my application process she would go out of her way to help me. She was like this with every student and every one of my class mates love her. Study! You have to take it serious. Show up, participate, study, study again. I graduated in 2019 Dec. There are some things that I wasn't clinically prepared for once I was on my own. So be assertive when doing clinicals and learn. If you drive be prepared to pay for parking everyday at campus! We had validations but it still cost about 5 dollars. The teachers I had were very knowledgeable and they change throughout the year. Also the teachers gave me references and even job recs.. When I say knowledgeable I mean in the field and nursing stuff not on teaching lmao!! I didnt give five 5 stars because they need a guidance counselor, I dont like one of the receptionist, one of my teachers was very brash, I'm missing some clinical experience, parking, and 3 people I know forsure didn't graduate or get licensed because they couldn't pass ATI. Currently going to start the LVN program, couldn’t be more excited & nervous but Angeles college really helped me learn more about the medical field. Came in school without knowing anything to learning a lot, thanks to the best instructor Ms. Lopez! A very kind, patient and awesome person. Coming to Angeles college was an amazing experience. The staffs are really nice and Ms Lopez is an amazing teacher, everyone there are really helpful and they are willing to work with you on making it an amazing experience. MS Lopez was an amazing teacher, she was my MA/phlebotomy teacher every time I had trouble or I didn't understand anything, she would always work with me and help me understand the material. We are new to BrightStar Care of Lake Forest as our family suddenly found ourselves in need of care for our parents. Although we had previously researched BrightStar we needed immediate overnight nursing care and was able to arrange their services when our mother was released from the hospital. They have been wonderful and also flexible about scheduling nurses/ caregivers according to our changing needs. The nurses ( Kelly and Myra) have been exceptional- caring ,compassionate, knowledgeable, and reliable. Currently, we are grateful to have a wonderful caregiver, Tracey Ta who is responsible for taking such terrific care of both our parents. The nursing staff, Katrina and Mona, were dedicated professionals who worked hard to make sure my mom was safe at home. We received support as we transitioned mom from rehab to her home and the support staff, Lori, communicated with us, ensured our questions were answered, and helped make the home safe for my mom's needs. Best CPR class I’ve ever taken! My instructor Swish was very funny and knowledgeable and made the class very enjoyable. She told use real stories that made it very interesting and we were able to do chest compressions on adult and infant mannequins. She even gave us valuable information that I will tell my family if they ever find themselves choking at home when they are alone. I’ve taken 5 CPR classes in the last 10 years and I learned some things that I’ve never been taught before. I will definitely renew my license with Surefire every 2 years.Mystica Madris

SureFire CPR gave a CPR/AED/First Aid course taught by an emergency medical technician who had real-world cautions and advice to share. I got the training to qualify for my teaching credential, and would highly recommend this course. Every teacher, parent and concerned person worries about what to do in an emergency, and SureFire CPR gives practical, up-to-date advice to help adults, children and infants. The BLS class I took at the Orange location was very entertaining. Our instructor was Jonny and he made sure to answer any questions we had. The mannequins were on tables, which made it very easy. The class was a bit under 3 hours, just the right amount of time. It didn't seem like 3 hours though, the instructor kept it entertaining and fun. I will come back 100% and I will recommend this place to others!Jonny Jona

I do not recommend the school to anyone. I did not take the certified medical assistant exam right away and when I call them to ask them about it they said it was too late and I would not be able to take the exam. This is in fact not true. I found out I have 60 months from the time of graduation to take the exam. I misplaced my diploma and in order to get it they required me to come in in person and pay in cash and then return to pick it up. I need this diploma in order to sit for the exam and I work Monday through Friday 8 to 5. They are completely unwilling to work with me or help me. This is unlike many of the other schools available. I was very young and had no guidance at the time and will never recommend the school ever to anybody.coco cook

What makes this school great is the Job Placement Assistant Advisor Christopher Aono, he's a very Optimistic Guy full of energy always ready to help the Students. Although I only met Mr. Aono for only a month he has been very helpful for placing me in a clinic to do my Externship. From all the other staff he really reaches out from the rest by keeping in contact asking me how am doing at the clinic. Also he has a good Vibe that brings to the school and for him to be the First person to say congratulations to me for graduating and to say that he's proud of me for completing my hours and getting hired is overall great. The class and professor Dr. Rivera was great ! But lack of communication with students is what this school needs to fix on. It can be messy at times how they work. They give out checks and my last one was never given because it was given to the wrong student. I tried calling the school and they would transfer me to different line and it seems like no one picks up the phone at all. They just have you jumping around and it’s like no one can help you out after all and you gotta find your solution to your problem yourself.jenipher reyes

My Wife goes here and it is possibly the most frustrating thing for me to watch… This school is honestly a huge scam. I really dont know how else to put it. They will charge you INSANE amounts of money for these classes (well over 200K for the Masters program after interest) and you "professors" are in the PHD program. what is that? I am not saying that they have some legit teachers and a few students teaching, I am saying that nearly ALL of the teachers are students. Let me be very clear about this, the teachers are HORRIBLE. The faculty is HORRIBLE. We just found out today that they didn't report to my Wife's FedLoan for our students loans that she was still enrolled and taking classes. What this means is, now FedLoans thinks that we are no longer in school, and that our loan is no longer differed. When she emailed the school faculty, they said this was HER responsibility…. are you kidding me? so we pay 60K per year before taxes for you to have students teach classes for $10 an hour… NOT submit proper paperwork to FedLoans and have absolutely zero leadership at the helm… When my Wife attended a "town hall" meeting with the Dean of the CA campuses, she asked when all of the grandiose things that were promised in admissions would be taking place… such as observation rooms on campus, real life experiences etc etc, and what did the Dean tell her? he said "if you would like to see these things happen, than you should initiate them yourself and start them up yourself"…. really? THAT is your answer to the student that is paying TOP dollar to go to this school? oh, and we just found out today thru some super vague email, that the Dean stepped down…. Please, trust this frustrated husband, DO NOT go to this school… I am a smart person… seriously TRUST ME…Adam

(UPDATED after completing doctoral coursework) My experience has been outstanding. This is a five-star institution, through and through. After completing my PhD coursework here, I can say this school really did deliver on promises and I feel lucky to have been part of this program. Our classes have top notch professionals from Southern California and various major US cities who fly in for the executive format, on-ground business psychology doctoral program. Faculty have been top caliber for the area, coming from academia and professional practice. I leave classes inspired and energized. I entered with my MBA and 10 years in my field. This is a program for people with work experience. It is not for folks who want school directly from undergrad with an internship, although they accommodate that with various master's programs. This program has been one of the strongest positive forces for me life. I matured so much, professionally and psychologically. If I could go back in time to choose where to do my doctoral coursework, or whether to pursue doctoral studies at all, I would stay at Chicago School in LA to do it all the same way. The big question for me was whether to focus on research or practice, since I already had work experience and could decide how big of a pivot the doctorate would be. Students from this program go into academia and industry. This school is really big on diversity, service, community, and academics. I went to a big school for undergraduate work. Between all the different departments, people, and majors, it was easy to lose myself. Chicago School is focused, so here, it was easy to find myself.Benjamin Theisen

Faculty members,at least most that I have met and had as professors, are educated, supportive, tense, and knowledgeable within their fields. Many of the professors own their private practices and work independently outside of the school. I want to thank the entire staff at Atria Del Sol in Mission Viejo. We moved my father in a year and a half ago after an extremely difficult year. Atria was exactly what he needed! He made friends and enjoyed lots of TLC which was greatly appreciated. He recovered so well that after a year and half, he decided to move into his own apartment! I could have never imaged he would regain all independence! During the pandemic, they kept all the residents safe and did everything they could to stay positive. It was a very challenging time for all of us, especially the seniors. I could not have asked for a better team to keep my dad safe. They kept him occupied, eating healthy, and offered so many activities on site, even when they couldn't leave their rooms. Reika was also so sweet and positive with all the residents. Finally when my dad could has elective surgery, Joanna and her team did a great job making sure he healed properly and quickly. The front desk staff was amazing and Nina was one of my dad's favorites. There were so many wonderfully kind staff, I cannot name them all. If you are looking for a caring staff that give just the right level of care in a beautiful facility and grounds, I highly recommend Atria!Kristine Nelson

We made the decision to place my mom here 5 months ago since she was no longer able to be alone and take care of herself and we work full time. I went to numerous places and Atria, by far was the best. The people have been fantastic to me and to her and I never have to worry about her because I always know she is in excellent hands. I visit her frequently and the ladies that work there always dote on her and make her feel special. If I am worried about her and need her to be checked on they do it promptly and communicate with me. She has settled in really well with the community and she is now more involved in activities and outings and I couldn't be more pleased. Before her husband passed, she would just sit in the house day after day and never go anywhere. Well, that's not the case now! Thank you from the bottom of my heart all you folks at Atria! We were looking for a short term care facility for my husband in between hospital stay and home. We looked into several facilities and chose this one mainly because of Jennifer who was the sales representative. Jeremiah answered all of our questions and was very helpful the entire stay . The transportation was great to my husband‘s dialysis three times a week and doctors appointments . Perry, the driver, was extremely nice and professional . Physical therapy was great, five days a week with very professional technicians. My Husband was very confident with Judee, Nicole and Kristy. They worked him hard to get him ready to go home . Our at home physical therapist couldn’t believe how well he was doing.This was our first experience with anything like this so we were a little apprehensive at first. However, everything was clean. The staff is professional and very thoughtful and respectful. Every visit I was greeted with a smile when I walked in. The Receptionists were very thorough to make sure that temperatures were taken and masks were worn. Covid rules were very strict which I appreciated. Thanks to all of you!❤️Cindi Shively
