Horrible experience!! Everybody is supposed to be young adults however my daughter was bullied and they did nothing!!! Correction, when my daughter made threats to her tormentors so they would back off the school had a officer call me and she began yelling at me, really verbally assulting me about how bad of a mother I was! This woman was completely disrespectful. They called DCF on me and the guy who shows up at my house says the principle remarked that I sounded lethargic during our phone call which made me feel like she was suggesting that I didn't care or was high (which btw I am a single mom working a full time job overnight while school personnel are sleeping only to come home in enough time to get my kids ready and off to school before I can sleep!!!!!😑) 2 days after the incident they removed my daughter from school and baker acted (put her in a mental institution against her will) her!!! They told me this after they did it so I had to find her. At least the male officer who took her to the institution was careful with his words and respectful towards me. She was alone and scared in a locked room for 2 days without her shoestrings, bra (her underwire is considered a weapon) or phone before being evaluated and immediately released after their psych doctor found nothing wrong with her. It was tearfully agonizing for us; Meanwhile her bullies got to remain in school UNPUNISHED and the school personnel involved never apologized for what they put us through. The end result was another blow to her confidence and ability to trust people and she stopped going to classes to get prepared for her GED. Please consider our nightmare before enrolling your child as this was the best path they chose to handle my child's situation. I swear I don't know how they sleep at night knowing how they failed her!! EDITED: Your response is incorrect. This happened to my daughter at the mid florida oakridge campus a few years back. I went in today on April 20th to register for school the man at front desk was not a greeter of new students at all. He was on the phone and acted as if his personal phone conversation was more important than being of any assistance to providing me with what the school offered. He wasn't informative of what the school offered. I went to ask he a question and he acted as if I was a bother too him while being rude to others as he spoke to them. He replied very rudely when I told him that I needed his undivided attention to explain too me about the program. He goes WHAT DO YOU NEED! I TOLD HIM IT SEEMS LIKE YOUR PHONE CALL IS MORE IMPORTANT! I applied online, did all the steps and applied for FAFSA but couldn’t get ahold of anyone there. They let the phone ring until they finally send it straight to voicemail. Someone picked up first ring but all I heard was a woman breathing and mumbling to herself completely ignoring me after I acknowledged myself multiple times. The First Academy has gone above and beyond any and all expectations we had for our daughters first year of Kindergarten. We did interviews with most of the private schools in the Orlando area and we couldn't be more thankful that we chose The First Academy! They have been instrumental at laying a firm foundation for our child. We also landed one of the best with getting Mrs Melissa Adams as her teacher. I appreciated the attention Mrs Adams gave our daughter the entire year. With the smaller classroom sizes we feel she was able to really be hands on with her on an individual level. Mrs Adams has been a true angel for us and such a blessing to have for our first year at TFA. She's always made us feel so comfortable and was available to me when I had the simplest questions no matter what time of the day or night. She and all of the TFA staff truly cares about our children and wants them to be successful spiritually and academically. Our family has had the pleasure of being apart of the TFA family for the last 3 years. We have a 5 year old in K4 and a 3 year old (turned 3 in Oct) in the 2’s class. They absolutely LOVE school. There is always something going on, with plenty of fun activities to participate in. The teachers are very pleasant to interact with and most importantly the environment is conducive to learning. From the parking lot there is always someone standing there to welcome the kids to school each day. Those kinds of things mean a lot to me as a parent. It’s common to walk by a class and hear music playing while kids work. Given these last two years dealing with COVID, the staff at TFA can pretty much handle anything. Jennifer is an awesome leader. The teachers are awesome! Our daughter attended for 6 years! I am happy to pull her out. I should have pulled her out years ago. The school has so many “favorites “ that run the school. Athletics needs an overhaul and the lack of Attention to kids struggling is shameful. 3 different HS principles in 3 years is a big tell. Although the current principle did a good job this past year. Think carefully, I do not regret having her there for middle school but definitely for high school. There is a lot of bullying going on and intimidation because it’s being done by the favorite kids and the large donors, therefore it is not addressed.Believe Victory

Great school. I went to a school visit here with my kid a few weeks ago. The school is really nice looking. The teachers seem to be really kind too. They have a lot of AP courses, which is a big plus in my eyes. The reason I knocked down 1 star is because of the location of the school. It's located on Edgewater Dr., which is a relatively small street and that there is only a single, 1 lane entrance to the school, which I recon will be jammed in the morning before school hours. To attract more students, the school may want to find a better location or add a secondary entrance. To some parents, the difficulty of dropping off their kids in the morning may be a deal breaker.Abdul Rychan

This is the most arrogant, snotty school I have ever been to. Was there for four days before I transferred out of there. What can you expect from a private school like this? Also if you tryout for volleyball without having varsity training, don't even go to tryouts. The coaches were unprofessional and big headed. My husband and I had our wedding ceremony at Orlando Shakes. We happened to stumble upon this venue while looking at another across the street. When we walked through the Shakespeare Theater lobby and into the Darden Courtyard, we knew we found the perfect location. Prior to our visit at Orlando Shakes, we had visited numerous other locations and did not have the exciting feeling of finding the “perfect” ceremony spot. It is hard to fully describe the beauty of this setting. With brick paved ground against a historical brick building, and oak trees with hanging moss, and lights strung overhead. This would be a great location for an outdoor reception as well. In addition to being a perfect location, the customer service from the staff here is absolutely top notch. Most of my interaction was with Alyssa and Tasha who were incredibly helpful, patient, and kind. I can’t say enough about Orlando Shakes. They also have other locations that are available for weddings. If you are getting married in the Orlando area, definitely keep Orlando Shakes in mind.B Rid

Every show I've seen here has always been entertaining regardless of size, theater space, or type of show. They always do a phenomenal job, And even if you know nothing about the show there is a good chance that you're going to have a good evening. Update 4/22: Still amazing! I love the shows and we are looking forward to booking another set of 3 performances for the next season (they have special prices for "choose your shows" sets). We had a day to plan out while we were visiting Orlando and we saw a there was a scheduled performance here of Shakespeare’s Much ado About Nothing. With tickets available, we booked ‘em and got excited. We weren’t let down. This theater; the staff, building, the stage, and performers, are all amazing. What a great show and a great experience that we’ll soon not forget. If we return to Orlando, we’ll gladly return for another show. Bravo to all of you for all the great things you’re doing here!Jay

We recently attended the sensory friendly matinee and had a wonderful time. The accommodations made for those with sensory and special needs was amazing: the explanation of different scenes that could be perceived as scary, the house lights being up, the sound being turned down, and people sitting in the front facing the audience with glow sticks raising their hands to signal just ahead of potentially scary scenes, and special rooms reserved for people in the audience who might need a break from the show, the staff at the Garden Theatre thought of everything. Our son who has autism and epilepsy would not otherwise have been able to attend the show, and isn't able to go to movies so this outing was extra special. Hats off to the Garden Theatre for thinking outside the box and making a memorable experience possible for all in attendance!Rob Williams

Many good things, but still a little disappointed. No reason given for opening the doors late and a performance that started about 25 minutes late. I understand why a long list of supporters was read because there were no programs where they would be highlighted/listed. No program means no credit given to a talented cast. When asked about programs, it was said that one could scan a QR code in the lobby. At the very least, that information could have been given in general. Even seniors at a matinee have smartphones. I understand there was a 1-person unisex restroom in the lobby. More restrooms were in the balcony…climbing a set of stairs. Not very good. Might we expect more at $42 for tickets?John Tarmey

An absolutely amazing experience! I bought tickets to 'The Rocky Horror Picture Show Experience' on Halloween night as a present to my mum (since it's her favorite movie and she introduced me to it) and it was phenomenal. Eventhough there were hoards of people out side the theatre wasn't that busy and sold prop bags and food in the main area. Double doors on either side made the entrance process much faster. My only critique is I wish they had an easier way to find your seat if there wasn't a person, such as seats 1-_ on this side and seats _-_ on the other side. Overall a wonderful experience and will be looking forward to attending again!Kace Walsh

The venue was approved along with a new Amway Center (which replaced the Amway Arena) and improvements to the Camping World Stadium after a series of hearings and votes, culminating in final votes in the Orange County Board of County Commissioners on July 26, 2007, and the Orlando City Council on August 6, 2007. The design for the new venue was revealed on August 21, 2008. The venue features a 2,700-seat amplified hall, Walt Disney Theater, for Broadway musicals and multi-genre concerts as well as a 300-seat venue, Alexis & Pugh Theater, for smaller shows and events.[3] The third theater, Steinmetz Hall, a 1,700-seat multiform theater achieves an N1 sound rating–the highest possible acoustical rating. The acoustically remarkable Steinmetz Hall can transform into three different theater styles (symphony concert hall, proscenium hall, and banquet hall) to accommodate multiple events and performances. Construction for Steinmetz Hall began on March 6, 2017 and officially opened on January 14, 2022. Coming here always gives me so much joy (sans the Pulse vigil). And it's also a perfect time to dress up and get a little fancy. My first time coming here was for Neil deGrasse Tyson in 2016. Then Hamilton in 2019. And now that they've opened again for 2021, I have been going more often: The Jungle Book Ballet, Final Fantasy VII Remake Orchestra, The Nutcracker Ballet. It has been an enjoyable experience every time. The staff are friendly and helpful. The bathrooms are clean. But there can be long lines for the bar downstairs, so go to the other bars on different floors to get your drink faster (especially before the show starts). I do wish they served non-alcoholic beer, though. But they also have snacks you can buy, too. At the moment, they do require proof of vaccination OR a negative test at least 48-hours beforehand. In the beginning, they were very strict with the masks, but when I came recently for The Nutcracker Ballet, they seemed to have relaxed on that. For parking, I usually purchase it with my ticket, so I don't waste time looking for one once I get there. (BTW.. .Ladies, be courteous of people who may be sitting behind you and don't wear your hair up high in any way 😬)Mary Grace

Always an amazing time at Dr P’s! There is not a bad seat in the house so if you can grab a ticket, hop on it. This place was amazing during the dark Covid days spinning on a dime and offering outside courtyard seating with food and drink delivery to your “pod”. Highly impressive and innovative way to stay in business. It’s always clean inside and the staff of quick and efficient. You can get through the beer and alcohol line in a snap. Bathrooms are super clean. Inside the architecture is beautiful, so take a stroll! Make sure you visit the balcony bar, grab a cocktail and take a moment to gaze over downtown Orlando. They have musicals, concerts and comedy shows so there’s always a plethora of choices for your visit to Orlando. Put this on your list of things to do!Rebecca Rementer

I Honestly didn’t know how much I needed acting lessons until I started attending LOAA. Wow! What a difference it’s made in my craft. From scene study and script analysis, to improv and accessing real emotion, this class has taught me the various layers to being an Actor. Chris is intense, thorough, relatable, and genuinely cares about your growth as an actor-a rare thing in this industry. My fellow students have become like family. We’ve learned to lean on one another and support each other. The immense knowledge through which you are guided to become a better actor is merely the surface of this class. Chris also teaches you the business aspects, the importance of networking, dealing with issues on set, The Union processes, Agent/Actor relationships… you learn the actual Life of An Actor. 5 stars and it should be 10. I've been training @ LOAA for almost 2 years now and I have grown leaps and bounds. Chris has really helped me grow from an actor with raw talent into a seasoned actor who truly understands what story he is telling in each and every scene. Actors' Infrastructure (A.I.) – This class provided me with so many tools on how to navigate and approach scripts. I was able to really hone my approach to the craft. This class also provided me the opportunity for the last few weeks to do self tapes and really learn how to be effective on camera. I love the positive energy and feedback in this class. I can say so much more but I’ll just say I highly recommend this class for beginner actors wanting to learn tools and an approach and for working actors wanting to hone their skills. The Actors Gym (T.A.G) – This class was absolutely amazing! This class really helped me finally get into my body as an actor and out of my head. I really got out of my comfort zone as an actor taking this class. This high intensity physical exploration class teaches the techniques of Suzuki, Grotowski, Laban, Harold Guskin, and others. If you really want to come alive as an actor I HIGHLY recommend this class with Jordan Woods-Robinson. I look forward to taking this class again. Book from tape have saved the day countless of times for myself and many of my actor friends as well with their self tape services. Their online breakdowns of their services are so easy to find and scheduling is a breeze. I had been referred to BFT multiple times from casting directors and other working actors. I was in town and needed to tape for a VERY last minute audition. READ THIS BEFORE YOU APPLY TO THE LPN PROGRAM I am making this post because I don’t want anyone else having to go into this Without knowing exactly what this program and school are like. 1. If you are expecting to pay for someone to actually teach you, this is not the place for you. The teachers here literally do not want to teach, probably because they have no idea how to. Only one of the actually cared, and when she lectured, we actually learned and had class discussions about the topics at hand. The rest would either A) split up part of a chapter and have the class make posters all day and then present to the class, B)split up a chapter (med surg chapters, so think disorders, nursing interventions, and meds, pretty important stuff that I don’t believe students who have no prior knowledge or experience should be teaching other students in the same class, isn’t that why the instructors are there for?) There were unfortunately very few times that we got a lecture. 2. The head teacher is a bully, and she likes to play favorites. Lord help you if you get on her bad side. Singles out students, makes fun of them, talks about them to OTHER STUDENTS behind their backs. Certain rules apply to certain students but not others because she likes them. If you end up enrolling, do not trust her. She likes to power trip. A lot. If she doesn’t get her way, she will play dirty till she does, and all the other teachers, including people above her seem scared of her for some reason. 3. Grades are messed with. If you do or say anything that upsets a certain someone, grades mysteriously suffer, and this isn’t just coming from student experience. People in the office warned us about her and the grades. 4. They are just as bad at teaching skills as they are lecturing. Complete disorganization. No demonstrations. We were told to read the book and figure it out. If we asked them a question, they would yell at us to look in the book. It was all in the book. The book was our teacher. Some students asked if they could please demonstrate for the class first and then have us practice, they would say no. “That’s not the way it works in the real world” or “no one is going to show you how to do this in the hospital, if you don’t know, you have to go and figure it out”. Yeeeaaa… pretty sure patients and their families don’t want you to “figure it out” at the hospital, but ok. 5. Speaking of skills, let’s talk about clinicals. So, you learned all these skills in class, and clinical is the time to get your hands dirty and reinforce the skills you learned, right? Nope! Can’t give shots, can’t pass med, can’t take vitals, can’t do anything, except practice CNA skills. We saw other nursing students from other schools get assigned to a nurse and do everything with the RN, but not us. We were not allowed to. 6. Although the school promotes itself as a “college”, expect to be treated like a middle schooler. While I do understand that there are dual enrollment students at the school (high schoolers), that is no reason to treat grown adult student like children. You will be talked down to. A LOT. Literally no respect whatsoever. Sometimes you even forget that you are an adult in this place. Valencia and Seminole also have dual enrollment, and everyone is treated in a professional manner, regardless of your age, so that is no excuse. 7. Let’s talk pharmacology. Very important in nursing. We never ever ever EVER had a single pharmacology lecture. AT ALL! Never! All we got were packets. That’s it. So that pharm class on your class schedule, forget about it. Doesn’t exist. The meds we did learn, we learned in the med surg chapters. That was the extent of our exposure to pharm. I wanted to write this so other people know exactly what they are getting into, because I wish I had known, so I could have made an informed decision (run!!!) There was so very little information available, and had I known about the toxic environment that I would be getting myself into, I would have never ever gone to this “college”.Flo Nighting

The staff downstairs are a whole bunch of liars and have no ideas what they are talking about half of the time. I took accounting with a teacher that is not certified to teach! she does nothing but sit on her computer and look at houses all day. when I registered for this school I was told that I will have an professor that will actually teach me accounting and go over everything with me. We teach our self! EVERYTHING we do is ONLINE!!! but they want you to sit here for 900 hours!!! and it's doesn't matter if your child is sick or if you have court YOU HAVE TO MAKE ALL OF THE HOURS UP! so please don't waste you time. there is a similar school in the area that offer the same programs as this school. I am NEVER a person to leave feedback no matter how unprofessional one is . But this school is HORRIBLE &VERY unprofessional !! I applied for surgical tech and completed the paperwork & medical for this program back January 2021. In May I begin to email BOTH instructors over this program to see what date in August will I be able to start so after multiple emails and phone calls I was finally able to speak to front desk who advised me that they're still accepting people from 2019 for surgical .Why do they still have it open if their that backed up ??like I could have chose a different program.Then The instructor called me and said we don't have your paperwork on file and that I need to come back down to resubmit it. Such a wonderful and fun experience for the whole family! Everyone can learn to dance Salsa from the kids to the adults. I would definitely recommend it to anyone. Not only did we bring our oldest son here to learn how to dance Salsa 7 years ago, but we've alo brought 2 nieces and three of my cousins. And now it's time for our youngest son to learn at 11 years old. Oh and it's where I learned how to dance about 20 years ago and also where I met my beautiful wife about 14 years ago. For the past 7 months that I've been studying at UCEDA, not once have I been disappointed, all my teachers have gone extra lengths to make sure that I have understood the content of their classes. The varied ways they find to teach you English keeps the classes fun and engaging, and if you ever find yourself unsure about something just let them know, they will always be there for you. Even though the pandemic has distanced us, the online classes are still very captivating with the use of multiple online tools which have made the learning experience easier and efficient on both ends. I personally love working with international students. I am a part-time evening teacher at Uceda. Uceda School is great. As of November 2022, the Academic Coordinator (Mr. Alan Dang) is really amazing and will help you with everything. The challenge is that some students lack motivation to learn English and some students understand very little of what people say or write in English, but I feel as though this challenge exists in other private English schools. I have worked for other private English schools in Orlando. If you have patience and energy then I feel you will succeed at Uceda School as a teacher.Danny Singh

Bob’s class, or TAG as we like to call it (The Actor’s Group: Orlando), is amazing. He fosters a welcoming, encouraging environment in which an actor, whether veteran or newbie, can cultivate their skills. Bob’s resume as an actor and his experience on television and in movies means he is teaching from lived experiences and I feel comfortable taking his advice and direction knowing he’s been where I want to go. He also hosts guest speakers from time to time, all with extensive and enlightening industry knowledge. I had minimal acting experience when I joined just over two years ago and I’ve since fallen in love with the process of working monologues and scenes. I’ve been able to secure commercial representation and I’ve been cast in over a dozen local shorts as well as a handful of commercials. I'm so grateful to have found TAG. About two months ago I was an audit in my very first acting class. I was intimidated and nervous and unsure but Bob immediately eased all of my worries. With that, the rest of the TAG community was so welcoming. I immediately signed up. Since that first day I feel I've grown so much in this craft. Bob does such a wonderful job of encouraging you step by step, and he works outside of class time to personally help his students whether it's for headshots, audition advice, or general industry questions. Up to last year I had been dancing ballet at the professional level. However, a year ago I suffered a career-ending injury that made me question my purpose. After a year of just, confusion and lack of motivation, I joined TAG and got my groove back. Knowing I have an instructor and acting community that so genuinely wants me to succeed means the world. TAG has honestly changed my life. Before this class I didn’t know what I wanted to do in life. I had always loved film but didn’t know what to do with that. So I started thinking about acting and I came across this class and I am so grateful that I did. Bob is not only an amazing teacher, but also just a really really really great man. Yeah we do monologues and scenes but we also talk about the business of the industry and I couldn’t be more thankful that Bob reiterates that this is a business. The other actors in the class are wonderful and you can also learn from everyone else by observing and listening. It has now been two years since I joined and I’ve loved every second of it. Hi, my name is Jocelynn and I am the music teacher at First Steps Academy. I began teaching at First Steps in August of last year at the start of the 2019-2020 school year. Who knew what a whirlwind 2020 would turn out to be? With the hardships that COVID-19 has caused and the massive reduction in attendance that preschools are now facing, I unfortunately lost two of my preschools that I was partnered with. Fortunately, with the excellent safety measures and hard work from the team and leaders at First Steps, they have been able to continue to keep their doors open and provide childcare for their families. Because of this, I too have been able to continue to provide learning with music and a much needed sense of normalcy. My family and I are so grateful that First Steps has worked so hard to supply me as well as their entire team with consistency so we are not struggling like so many people who have completely lost their incomes. My heart is so full from the love that I receive every time I am welcomed in the door from the smiling faces of the children to the warm-hearted teachers. The First Steps leaders truly care and value the learning and well-being of their students. I am overjoyed to have a special part in the education of our little ones and to be a part of the First Steps family. Thank you to Mrs. Emily for the wonderful blessing you have provided me. My granddaughter attended First Steps Academy for five years, and I cannot say enough fantastic things about this school and the teachers. The director, Emily Coutras, was wonderful, so very sweet and compassionate. It was easy to see how much she loves the children in her care. She seemed to know the names of every single child and their parents. It was pretty impressive. More than once I saw her interact with her staff. She was as patient with them as she was with the children. I loved that they had the Brightwheel program. I received reports and pictures of my grandbaby on a regular basis. The transformation of the building over the five year span was phenomenal. They installed brand new carpet, all new lighting, new playgrounds, and new paint and cute, cheerful vinyl decals on the walls in every classroom. You should see the decal on the wall in the office. I just loved it. When we were allowed back in the building after the Covid restrictions relaxed, we found bright, bold new paint and absolutely beautiful painted murals all the way down that very long hallway. It made you happy just to walk in and see it. My granddaughter was always happy there and loved every teacher she had. I am so thankful that she received such a good foundation at First Steps because she excelled in kindergarten and is now looking forward to first grade. Thank you First Steps and Ms. Emily for your dedication and care for my grandbaby. You were a wonderful blessing for my family.Linda Clark

My boys (currently age 1 & 3) have been attending First Steps since end of April 2020. The Executive & Program Director are phenomenal leaders, easing any concerns I had due to the pandemic. They are taking all precautions to keep the children and staff safe. The staff are very caring and loving and you can tell they are happy to be working with the children. My 3 year old is getting plenty of play both inside and outside and learning through the curriculum they provide. There is always communication from the staff on what is going on in the classroom and with our children. I feel very blessed that we found such a high quality faith based childcare center . I started working with CAST Studio about nine months ago. At that time, I had little to no experience acting, but I was excited to start a new hobby and meet new people. Now I have a great hobby, lots of new friends, new skills, and a significant side hustle! Because of Shauna's instruction, I signed up with an agent, started doing feature films, a music video, and commercials, and I have credits to my name on IMDB. This was my first time trying Publix Aprons and I'm definitely glad I did! Our experience from beginning to end was a very positive one. Chef Trent and chef "Emily" (actually chef Melissa, inside joke here), were both very engaging and explained everything in great detail and passion. For the food, we opted to go with both experiences; the VIP tasting ($20/person) and the main course ($25/person) both paired with wines. I definitely liked the first option best, as the 4 small appetizers and wine, made us pretty full and content. My personal favorites have to be tbe outstanding pork belly and the duck wonton taco roll. Both exceptionally well prepared, fresh and perfectly seasoned. Neither of us in our party of 5 liked the lamb Marsala cold spring roll. It was pretty dry, and not really good. The two main courses were pretty good, but we were so full at that point that we took most of them to go. The wines, don't have high expectations. They were average at best, with mostly cheap/low brands. Nonetheless, this qas an awesome dinning culinary experience that I would gladly take part of again!Steve Rainville

Marshall Ellis Dance School offers an excellent variety of classes such as ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop, contemporary, musical theatre, conditioning and more for all different levels from beginners up to advanced taught by active working professionals in a chill environment that are definitely worth way more than they’re charging. I mean- where else can you go for drop-in classes that have technique at their rate?! They also offer more than just drop-in classes like their daytime ballet program plus their ballet, tap, junior, pre-professional and professional dance companies that put on fantastic shows for the public. They also offer workshops, summer intensives and so on. I can’t say enough about this school! It’s more to my daughter and I than just a dance school and the teachers- it’s like our home away from home with our other family! I wish we’d found it sooner. I can confidently say that between this school and my daughters discipline, that’s what’s made her become the dancer she is today in such a short period. Don’t let the low cost fool you into thinking you’re not getting fantastic classes! When we first came here I thought there was some sort of catch. By the way, there’s also an option for students that want to compete solos, duos & trios at dance competitions and partake in workshops like Nuvo, Intrigue, Shake the Ground, Dance League, 24seven, etc.Dana Zayas

I have been dancing my entire life, majored in Musical Theatre in college, taken classes at Steps on Broadway and Marshall is the single best ballet teacher I have ever had. He is patient as his students learn, vocal and hands-on with corrections (general & specific) and tempers each class to both the level of the students in it and the needs of the day. Therefore every class is different yet challenging! I have been going to his studio for 6 months and the 45 minute drive through I-4 traffic is ALWAYS worth it. His wife Alex is also incredible and together they provide a supportive environment where it is obvious that not only do they both love to dance and perform, but they find true joy in teaching it to others and pushing their students to their own personal best every day. I also appreciate that they are both able to physically DO everything they teach – which is so helpful in learning new skills. If you're looking to refine your technique, put your mind to work and develop a real dancer's perspective – I wouldn't go anywhere else! But be prepared to come to work; and work hard!Casey Weems

My daughter is 13 and participates in the Elite Training Program at Marshall Ellis Dance School. This is a pre-professional ballet training program that in my opinion closely resembles a conservatory program. The dancers put in 24 hours a week of high quality ballet training, with the option of participating in other styles of dance later in the day. The Elite instructors are well trained, professional dancers who have an excellent grasp of educating, inspiring, motivating and encouraging. They are consistent in technique and teaching styles. They cultivate a positive environment with sound instruction and practical feedback, rather than shaming and choosing "favorites". The studio as a whole makes high quality training affordable and accessible to dancers of all ages and levels.Amy Berry

We are extremely pleased with the Maile School! We started our daughter in the Kids Acting program initially to gain confidence. She enjoyed the class so much, we enrolled her into the Advanced Monologue and Scene Study. Again, she did great and really loved the class and wanted to continue going after the program was complete. The great part is, the Maile School offers on-going classes! The Maile School also offers a variety of Summer Camps. Our daughter attended The Mall at Millenia Fashion Camp and modeled in the Back to School Fashion Show! It was a wonderful experience that she will remember forever. She also attended a 1 Day Workshop with Michael Campion "Jackson" from Fuller House and said it was the best day of her life! She is currently working with Jim Braswell on her Vocal Performance and is very excited before and after each lesson. All of the instructors are incredibly talented and make the classes fun and interesting! It's been an amazing experience thus far at the Maile School. Our daughter has grown significantly and has even recently booked her first job! I am looking forward to starting my son in the Kids Acting when he is of age. I even signed myself up for the John Pero's workshop! I want to thank Debby, Debbie and all the staff for all of their help and encouragement along the way. I would highly recommend the Maile School to any child, teen or adult interested in gaining confidence or learning more about the industry. I am really impressed by the Maile School. Not only have they been around forever and have a great reputation but they continue to provide quality classes to talent of all ages. I have learned a lot while attending the school. I also enrolled my daughter in some classes because of my experience. The Maile School is a great place to start your career whether you’re wanting to act or model. I began attending class around the same time that I had started booking commercials. The class really kept me in the right mind set for auditions and I have since booked quite a bit of principal roles and recently began auditioning for TV/Film union work. Definitely worth a try if you’re interested in the industry. The classes have a very fun and relaxed environment, especially when taught by Jim. It’s a great way to expand your comfort zone and start learning a little bit of who you are as an actor. Highly recommend!!Brenden Carrillo

Peaches Dance Studio is an AMAZING studio!!! My girls have dance at many other studios in Central Florida, but two years ago, we switched to Peaches Dance and Music Orlando. My two daughters have been here from the start and I am so impressed with the caring and attention that each of these teachers pour into their students. My girls have grown so much and always look forward to their time at the studio. I love how the center not only focuses on the technique of the art of dance, but as developing young women and men to be good people, respectful of others and kind. There is such a variety of offerings not only for dance, but music and music theater which makes it even more ideal. Having two girls, they don't always have the same goals or strengths, so having these many tracts for them to enjoy has been a great resource. If I could, I would rate the studio a 10 star, but alas, Google only allows me 5 stars. Worth every bit of investment into my girls, not only in the art they love, but as young women. The confidence my girls have gained while at this studio has been immeasurable. Thank you to Peaches and her team for an awesome dance and music experience. My daughter absolutely loves Peaches Dance Studio! This year she has grown a tremendous amount as a dancer and as a little person. With the help of this studio, she has added tap, jazz, and contemporary to her ballet background and now has a well rounded skillset that has improved throughout the year. This was her first year ever being on a dance team and it really solidified my daughters love for dance. It was also a very positive experience for me as her mother. She made some fantastic friends, (as did I), and many wonderful memories all while doing what she loves. Peaches' teacher and staff are all amazing, they genuinely care for our kids and their well being. They are dedicated 100 percent, and you can tell they love what they do. The recital really showcased just how much of a difference a year can make. I could not be more thrilled with our experience at this amazing studio. My daughter has had a wonderful year at Peaches! Her skills have grown exponentially in every style of dance. It’s clear that her teachers have shown her the correct form and method to showcase a variety of types of dance. She loves to dance, and she’s inspired by top notch adult dancers at the Studio. Having exceptional teachers work with my child makes the investment of time and money totally worth it! It was beautiful to watch her and her friends absolutely light up on stage at recital while dancing their hearts out! All the extra practicing in front of parents and other classes paid off.
