12 Best Physician Assistant Programs In Nashville, TN (2022 Updated)

AVOID AT ALL COSTS IF A SCIENCE MAJOR!!!!!! Poorest Chem department I've ever experienced. The chemistry teachers (in my experience) are just bad teachers. They don't have the experience to teach in some cases or are just unorganized in their lectures. They can tout #1 Biology Program in the Country (for Christian schools) but Chemistry is bloody important too. Every science major needs Chemistry. So, what's a good biology program really got to do with it if Chemistry teachers are flippantly FAILING students without any analysis of their own teaching. Why are the chem labs impossible? I graduated from Lipscomb in 2011 and loved my time there. The university has an active campus life and dedicated staff and student leadership. I really enjoyed living on campus, my Bible classes, attending concerts and campus life events, and going to basketball games. I majored in organizational communication with a minor in marketing, and I have been working in digital marketing since 2013. I still visit Lipscomb's campus and enjoy seeing how it's changed. Lipscomb may not be for everyone, but I encourage prospective students to schedule a campus visit and take a tour.Brandon Caples

Attended Lipscomb for my graduate degree after receiving my bachelors from a large public university. It was a great decision. Knowledgeable, personable professors. Loved the community among students. As a research institution that hosts national events, award shows, and keynote speakers, it is definitely well respected and constantly growing. I completed the MOL Master Organizational Leadership program entirely online as a distant learner. My experience has been pretty pleasant, however some of the course material was out-dated so revisions has been made to the program offering a new specialization track for students to benefit from. My professors were Amazing minus two 😊😊, however I would say that they were bad I just think that sometimes differences of opinions should be respected. I actually excelled in the MOL Program and learned so much about l leadership. My only complaint is that my degree was mailed out to me in a card board envelop which is beyond shocking to me and an insult. I would prefer that my hard earned degree have been package in a hard Trevecca Nazarene University portfolio. With staff including the likes of Graham Hillard, it's hard to believe this campus does much to educate the community on the teachings of Christ. His writing is incredibly callous, divisive, and lacking any semblance of the compassion included in the fellowship I was raised in. Kelly Davenport goes above and beyond for her Farm Bureau customers! She is so personable, caring, and always willing to help no matter how big or small the need. I have been a customer of TN Farm Bureau for 20+ years. I have always been impressed by how efficient Kelly is when I email or call her or stop by the office. Whether I need a copy of one of my college age daughter’s rental insurance, need to add a car to our insurance, need a copy of our flood insurance, a quote for insurance, or the 800 number that I’ve requested a hundred times, she responds quickly and so kindly. Recently, we changed home lenders and before I thought to let her know, she had emailed to let us know the lender was verifying our homeowners insurance and asked if it would be okay to go ahead and change it. It is so nice to know she stays on top of our insurance needs. I know I have expressed to her how wonderful she is to us but I’m sure I need to do it more often. I have been using Farm Bureau since 1996 and have been extremely pleased with the response and immediate action taken by Farm Bureau the few times I’ve actually had to use my insurance. I use the Grassland branch in Franklin and have always enjoyed all personal interactions with the staff as they’re kind, friendly and efficient! And top it all off with the cost! Over the years I’ve consistently checked pricing to see if I’d be better off somewhere else only to find that not only is my coverage excellent (as demonstrated the few times I’ve had to use it) but the best price in the game! She’s Very patient, a good listener, caring & I trust her recommendations. She works in tandem with your other Dr.’s & primary Dr. To keep track of your health status as well. I started seeing PA Caroline Barr due to very bad headaches from long haul Covid & a fall I sustained in Jan ‘22 that resulted in my headaches increasing to the point I went to the ER. I was told I had a concussion & later vertigo. I was treated and saw her as now my primary neurologist. I drive over 30 miles for my treatment and my headaches are very minimal now and some days I have none at all. I wish she was practicing closer to my home but since she helped me & I go every 6 months it’s not a deal breaker. When I get there, the staff is friendly & I always pre check in by their phone app which makes check in easier. The entire building is immaculate and everyone wears masks so I was relieved to see that. I would & will recommend her if you’re in need of a neurologist. She’s great. I can't say enough good things about our experiences at USN (we have two daughters there now and one more that will attend when she is Kindergarten age). My favorite thing about the school is their individualized approach to each child; it feels as though every student is having an experience that is uniquely tailored to them. They are so thoughtful and intentional about every aspect of the student's education. They want to educate good PEOPLE, not just students who get good grades. We have 2 children at USN (with a 3rd starting in Kindergarten soon) and we've had an amazing experience. The staff is terrific and the academics are top notch. I felt compelled to post this review as a parent and supporter of the school because the last 4 reviewers left nasty 1-star reviews, not about the school, but concerning a former part-time employee who committed a crime. It's grossly unfair (and not applicable in the context of Google Reviews) to tarnish the reputation of a terrific school that's been serving Nashville for over 100 years.Allen Baler

Poor service to No service I was placed in the hallway with no attention & disconnected from all monitors. My Glucose Level was in the high 400s. Received insulin in arm by shift change nurse: very painful. Her attention was on the firemen that brought in a aggressive patient. With A Little Paperwork To Complete, Within 30 Minutes I Was In The Dentist Office, X-rayed, Temp Taken , Blood pressure Checked, Exam Begined. I go there all the time. You can have dental procedures done there for a fraction of the cost of going to a dentist. The reason it costs so much less is you are allowing students to do the work. However there is always an actual dentist who supervises to make sure the students don't make mistakes or hurt you etc. I'm thankful for this school. I would have lost a couple of teeth if not for them. Because anywhere else it would cost as much to get a tooth pulled as you can get a root canal here. The PA students, faculty, staff, Guard, Ambulance, AirEvac, and Fire department joined together and helped children see what wonderful and important jobs their future holds…I know my little cousin enjoyed it so much, and said she will be a PA sooner than I think lol.
