We were working on our project (Our Green Hope) today where we used 3000 reusable bags to make the largest mosaic. The worker at the campus were friendly and supportive. After finishing the project, all the 3K bags were given for FREE at Kroger to encourage people to start using reusable bags instead of plastic grocery bags. I took the CNA ‘Plus’ programme there back in October 2021. For $2395 we never got a clinical! And the facilities and equipment provided were unbelievable! One mannequin with its leg falling out and not even a proper night gown to keep it from being exposed! Sheets were dirty! Equipment faulty, and now we are STILL waiting to take our state licensure exams! If you’re taking the CNA programme, do not take the “plus part” it is a waste of money and time. State Street U is amazing. I attended 22 years ago and stopped by for the first time since then and I was amazed to find, updated buildings, a beautiful store, and a whole new feel. The professors and professionals were mostly great when I was there and though I don't attend, I had a chance to talk to administrators and they are still amazing. The financial aid office and Koree are fantastic and the Director of Academic and Student Affairs Sarah was amazing, too! My daughter attends this university and she has told me multiple times that the buildings are ran down, many of the professors that she's had are rude and condescending, the computers in the library and in Springfield Hall are old and slow and the wifi is horrible. This university has absolutely nothing to offer to their students. My daughter is unhappy and she's had the worst experience here and she told me that she definitely regrets attending this university. I'm a Drury grad and I must say, Drury is an amazing place to go to college. The computer science department is fantastic. The professors go out of their way to help you and make sure you succeed. I really question whether anybody that says UM is racist/riot fueled has ever been a student here. I can personally attest to the acceptance and diversity of the school. I've liked most of my professors, and other students have been friendly. I can honestly say that I've learned a lot from my classes and have been presented a lot of opportunities to succeed. If anyone works hard to get here, Ole Miss has many teachers and programs to reward you for your effort. That's what I look for in a college. We get bad press because we are in the South and it makes us an easy target for the media. They like to play off the stereotype that we are some backwards racists. Ask any student here about the "riot" and they'd probably laugh. I would challenge anyone to find a college that doesn't have any students that discriminate. Ole Miss is absolutely amazing! I love it for undergrad I am enjoying it for grad school and the advisors are one of a kind because they are actually invested in helping the students! I will say that as a commuter paying out of state tuition is not that great, if I can drive there daily I should be able to pay in state tuition. Also, it takes a while to get your financial aid, the office is always working and have people on task but if you can’t get into the office for some reason email, phone calls, and zooms as your secondary option takes much longer. As a parent, teacher, and full time student I rely heavily on my financial aid and each time it is just a hassle, I wish the process was smoother.Katrina McCrackin

Oxford is the best place to live in the south. There's always something to do and a great place to raise children. I loved attending Ole Miss and love my Rebels! I can't really complain about anything. We're close enough to travel to a beach, casino, Beale and Bourbon Street, yet we'd rather be sitting in The Grove on a home game weekend. 'Business is Personal' is tagline of the school and everyone makes it sure to follow it completely. MBA itself is difficult and time consuming but from students, professors to career coaches and admission staff put in lot of efforts to help us as much as possible. Concentration wise – SCM and marketing are really good. I cannot speak for other as I am not aware of the details. Financial aids – School offers tremendous support in this if you are eligible and great candidate. Future Forward – The latest curriculum is very new to be reviewed but core strengths are similar so should be great value addition in near future. Placements- Graduate Career Center helps a lot with recruiting events and career coaching. International students have limited opportunities and have to try harder (but it is not specific to school). Additionally, the Student Engagement team pours their heart into ensuring students are getting involved, have access to leadership positions, and feel connected to the school. I cannot say enough good about this college. As a lower income student who knew I was going to have to pay my own way through school, Berea gave me the quality education I wanted without going into massive student debt. The professors are amazing (especially the Communication department). This school also allowed me to experience so many new cultures, backgrounds, and beliefs that I could have never imagined would change me so profoundly. I went to Berea for the Carter G.Woodson weekend and it was amazing. Being a senior and looking for colleges, I was nervous. I had never been to Kentucky, let alone Berea. Its a bit hard to rate an entire university. I'll preface this with the fact that I'm rating from a students perspective and won't be factoring in cost to attend in my review. First, the university is big and beautiful. All the old brick buildings give a nice general vibe to the campus. Uptown is also a nice social hub for the weekends, fit with bars, restaurants, and Bagel and Deli. There are plenty of people on campus to befriend and plenty of clubs to find like minded people with. Second, the classes. I've had great classes so far, not finding any "bad" professors. For context, my classes have revolved around computer science and math. Mileage may vary, I haven't taken every class. Third, the food. The included meal plan gives access to meal halls which have a wide array of food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Some items, like cereal or pizza, are guaranteed every day of the week, with other entrées being cycled out each day. Its good at first,, but these dining halls are functuonally mean to be eaten at daily. After a while of that, the food quickly becomes just edible. The Armstrong center has a bunch of restaurants that require payment like normal, however they don't accept meal plan swipes or their equivalent value, something I've seen in much smaller universities. This food is actually good, but eating here isn't sustainable for the aforementioned reason. Paying at these locations means you're really paying twice. Once for the food, and again for the meal swipe you've essentially wasted. For this reason, I've taken a star. Lastly, I feel safe on campus. Their transparency with active police activity sent to your email along with their crime and fire reports each year indicate this campus is a pretty safe place to be. Its in basically the middle of nowhere, the campus being its own town. In fact, Miami University outsources their own police department to the town its inside of.Jack Duvall

I think financial aid is run by Dr.Seuss. It’s a literal circus. They barely answer the phone and Stacy is brutal. I think she wrestled in the WWE. I simply and politely asked about my financial aid app and she punch me in throat so hard I started singing Ave Maria. I didn’t even know I knew the song. This is a great university with students from all around the world, very beautiful buildings, gardens and sport facilities. It was a fantastic experience to study there for an year and enjoy such a nice atmosphere. Beautiful campus. So green. I love the Eucalyptus trees. It’s quiet in certain areas and social in others when students are around. A little something for everyone. Nice pathways for both walking and cycling. There are benches all around the campus to provide ample sitting areas to either just rest or to study with solar powered charging stations.Sajleen

I work here as staff and find the working environment pretty good. My bosses have been good, my coworkers are dependable, and the students seem well behaved and conscientious (most of the time). The new buildings are nice, and the harbor walk is kind of amazing, and the beach is very chill. Good luck finding a place as tranquil anywhere else near the city. There is however one small con and one big con.. the small con is that there aren't that many places to eat and Sodexo runs all the food on campus, and their attempts at ethnic foods are sad. And the aforementioned big con is that there is no less than 3 buildings being built on this tight peninsula right now, and one huge building that was taken down over the year I've been here.. the construction is a mess. Though the new, finished buildings, like the science complex, are great. But if you can take the T somehow, as I do, this place is fantastic.Mikhail M. Nitko

UMASS Boston has a Beautiful campus on the waterfront! It is building two Brand new buildings as student housing with a dinning hall on the first floor, overlooking the Boston harbor with a million dollar view. UMASS Boston has a collaborative research program with Dana Farber Cancer Institute that students can be a part of. I love the new Integrated science center, incubating many New exciting NIH sponsored science research studies. I am a student here at UMB, the professors are great. The administration is bureaucratic and inefficient and lacks transparency on any basic level. Parking here is dependent upon arrival time. If you get here at 10:20 good luck finding a space in bayside, probably will have to park at the globe. Clinical placement sites for Nursing are good, labs are good, the school is constantly under construction and areas are always being blocked off. Parking will soon cost between 9-15 dollars a day according to emails from the uni. So it’s alright but the university is slowly draining the life of its commuters.Bill Whitney

I had an amazing experience at Booth. The program and culture live up to the mantras of "Challenge everything" and "Independent thought" in my experience. Personally, I was drawn to the fact that there is no one path at Booth — you're not forced into a cohort, you're not told which classes you have to take, you're not assigned to study teams and instead, you have the freedom to chart your own course (within some guidelines of course!) and you gain much wider exposure (e.g., taking classes with 2nd years). Looking back, the LEAD course was extremely helpful and I apply those lessons about leadership and self-awareness everyday now. The student culture is very strong (and different than what many perceive) — it's a bit different from other schools where there's a concentrated campus that everyone lives near and again, things aren't dictated for you. I was incredibly impressed by my classmates — not just their intelligence and career drive but also their passion for traveling and experiencing the city of Chicago. I did not find it to be competitive at all – I think because of the grade non-disclosure but also in recruiting, I had so much help from my classmates. A bit about my experience: I was a career changer. I worked in HR before and worked in consulting afterwards (boutique/startup firm in Chicago). My course specializations were Strategy, Economics, and Marketing. I was very involved with the Admissions team while there, serving on the student adcom, leading tours, planning admit weekend, etc. I also loved the Business Solutions Group where I worked on a pro-bono consulting project for a non-profit education company. I lived in Hyde Park (rare for Booth students, but I loved it). My advice to future applicants: engage with the Booth community as much as possible. Visit campus, sit in on a class, talk to students and alums, connect with the alumni group in your closest city. I graduated in Food Science at Colorado State in 2011. The education in the classroom and in life that I received while I attended university was life changing. I met some of the best people I have had in my life and I pursued my love for nutrition and food science while I was there. My degree opened up many doors for me in my career in the brewing industry and at the time the undergrad brewing course was one of the only ones in the country. I am so glad I attended CSU and I can say without a doubt my life and career would not be the same had I not gone here. My daughter and I visited the campus as it currently ranks number 3 for Veterinary Medicine. The staff was genuine, sincere and gracious. They setup one on one meetings to make the visit extremely personal. They appeared to have the students best interest at heart and even supplied a full day parking pass. The facilities appeared updated and state of the art. They were heads and shoulders above our visit at Texas aTm. I have studied in here as an international student for one year, but now I transfer to another college. The main reason is the reputation of the CSU college of business. The employment rate of international students after they graduation is so low, and I rarely find one get even an internship. I went to WCSU in The Woodstock 60's. It was so small then, a blip on the radar with only a few buildings for classes, but something wonderful happened. I was given special attention and sent to Yale University to audition for it's School of Drama and I was accepted. I was coached by a director, an English prof. and a Theater Arts instructor who taught English before there was a Theater Arts program at WCSU. Thanks to them, our tiny group of drama hopefuls had the opportunity to test run a real Off Broadway Play before it was cast. Our director was a friend of the Playwright. I had the lead in that production and thanks to that I was chosen to audition for Yale, and thoroughly coached by the team. Because of them I made it. I did not go to Yale due to personal issues but the point is that there were great people willing to go beyond the scope of their requirements and guide someone to the place where they could succeed. This University is like a breath of fresh air among the other CSU's, I would highly recommend, from the staff to the OpenClose program which sorts all the classes so neatly and nicely, to the overall atmosphere of the town itself (*thats also because many of the other state colleges/universities are put in very crime filled neighborhoods) WCSU makes its very easy as well to transfer taking ALL transfer credits from the other universities, as well as if your communication major like myself, they offer many classes over the summer to help you catch up or even to learn more. Got my MBA here. The faculty is quite smart and is genuinely interested in your success. Specifically, the marketing, supply chain, and finance professors are top notch. If you get the opportunity to study abroad for Taiwan, which is available as an undergrad as well, absolutely do it. Amazing people to network with and friends that came out of class, overall very rewarding experience. The college has had notable difficulty with their health and safety as of the writing of this that took 1 star away from my rating. I AM NOT A STUDENT. IM A TOURIST I toured this beautiful school yesterday. It was absolutely beautiful. To walk around seeing so much scripture. So many things to inspire young minds and hearts to Christ. I did not get a chance to walk around the entire campus but the places I did see were amazing. My tour guide was Robert Vann. He knew a lot of history and important things about the school. He probably knew the mission statement if I asked him. He took us into the Chapel and had so many great things to say about it. He also said, the school was a safe place for Christians. The professors and staff, knew Jesus. Frfr. They encourage a relationship with Christ. He has never been around so many different ethnicities fully in worship together. It reminded him of Heaven. He saw that we are all the same. The school opened the eyes of his heart to so many different beautiful things about ALL of the people of God. I’m not gone lie, I don’t wanna say that I would ever move back to Virginia. And I do not like school. However, after seeing the school, and hearing the Words of Mr. Vann, it makes me want to consider attending Regent. The only reason ppl go here and are willing to grossly pay for an education is the location. I went to school here and will say it is far overpriced for the education you are given. Some staff are great and really care about the education they are providing. Others just read off a powerpoint and have no interest except for a paycheck. Before joining DePaul I was contemplating between DePaul and other Universities, I am so happy I made the right choice to join DePaul. Depaul has the best facility you can hope to study under, the administration are very helpful and my advisor, is one of the best, always available whenever I needed assistance, guidance or help. If you are a graduate of DePaul, you can be sure that employers will want to add you to their staff. Being part of DePaul, is being part of a large educational family. There are two campuses, the main one is located in Lincoln Park and the other one is located in the Loop, right in the heart of the business hub, if you are attending College of Law or College of Business. There are two huge libraries in the Loop campus, with access to Starbucks, as well as to, Barnes and Nobles. In both Colleges you have cafeterias amd study lounges. There is a Toastmasters club at DePaul and many other groups and clubs to join. Also, DePaul offers a help center, fpr students who may need extra help with certain classes, as well as, a writing center for whenever you need your essays reviewed, with feedback and assistance in improving it before submission. With all of the above and more, I could not possibly list all of the things DePaul os known for, or offers, but I can tell you one thing, if you happen to choose DePaul and become accepted, be sure you are part of the many successful people who will graduate with pride. You can be a full fledged patriotic American, but just because your parents travel and you may have a foreign transcript (from high school/ middle school) you are deemed an international student. To add insult to injury this particular issue entailed the student already having graduated from a neighboring community college. Yet still, they are deemed international. An obvious protocol set in place to guzzle money out of the student. Wasn’t even thrilled about their level of academics to begin with, so not having this school as an option isn’t a loss in the slightest for our family. I appreciate their immediate display of a lack of sensical protocol, because it made us deem this school unfit without wasting any further time. Thanks DePaul!The RE: Brand

Hispanic Heritage event went on without a hitch. Free of Problems and controversy. Entertainment was Great Food was Awesome. The Highlight was the introduction of the Main Speakers The New Era Young Lord's. Also some Associates and Friends from there Early Year's. The Bomba group provided good Entertainment and a Festive Atmosphere. In the Middle Sixties you could count the Minorities attending DePaul. The all played on the Basketball team. Vast improvements have been made. Opening Enrollment and and Opputunity. We can Thank Groups like the Young Lord's who brought to the light the Contridiction's. Great Job Latino Students.Rory Guerra

Atfter 3 years… Word to the wise, more often than not, you never crack open that 100, 200 something dollar book. A quarter of the professors are great people and go above and beyond and are the positives of the university. Another quarter are there and go through the motions, pretty average and that's fine. The rest are communicationally and emotionally compromised and feel the need to be dictators of their classrooms and go on emotional rants unrelated to material, are professors that have checked out because retirement is around the corner, or are teaching assistants in their early 20s and have no idea what they're doing and rush through so they can get THEIR work done. Parking is a mad house the first half of the semester. I've spent an hour trying to find parking and gave up, I've been threatened and screamed at, dealt with aggression and almost hit by cars. It's not like I felt safe on campus anyways or in Springfield for that matter. The school enrollment is growing faster than they're willing to keep up expecting more and more from professors and give less and less to those who pay the continually raising tuition.Steph McCarty

I myself have had a horrible experience at MSU, but I won't let that account for the school as a whole. If you are considering entering the Computer Information Systems program, you should really consider another school. The instructors in the program are currently abysmal. They are working hard to improve the program, but for now you will learn at a pace and challenge level much less than you would even get at OTC. The College of Business in general felt like a degree mill, in my opinion. As for the rest of the campus, it really is great in every way. You can do almost anything you need right on campus easily. The Foster Recreation center has an awesome pool and great selection of workout equipment. The library is also top-notch and has a great selection. I have a feeling that if you're pursuing an education in non-technical subjects, this would be a great school for the money. If that's not the case though, I highly recommend you seek a better business school elsewhere. Springfield has a hard time retaining talent, and you'll find little of it in the more technical departments at MSU.scott knox

BUYER BEWARE: You'll be fine at MSU as long as you don't complain about any lack of teaching pedagogy in your classes. As a student I have had a Jekyll and Hyde type of experience here; some professors include direct instruction (in a number of modalities) others do not. I was told verbatim by a professor; "I'll do what I want and no one can tell me differently". Another professor, on three separate exams, gave no feedback and in a class of 16 students had four A's with the rest, B, C, D, F, range and didn't change his "Educating" the entire semester. One other professor who had given out continual C's and B's – said he didn't need to teach for "Mastery" of the topic – he only needed to give "Students a shot"… Keep in mind professors are experts in an area and not teachers – that is do not have the training and education to teach, to reach students. Further, in classes I have never seen an administrator come and evaluate the level of "Teaching" being done.ME W

Harvard is one of the most prestigious universities in the World and every one wishes to visit it once in a life time. I had this chance to go there and walk around this beautiful institute. The good thing is that it is open for all and everyone could go around and visit. I saw many tourists there enjoying walking and taking photos. The good thing which I liked was that seeing people doing Yoga in the open space and in nature. I liked that and participated with them in yoga. A must visit place if you are in Boston or around.Salim Khoso

It was nice walking around Harvard university . I would recommend either taking a guided tour or to download and follow the self guided tour so you understand the history behind the university. I loved the library and the story behind it. Unfortunately wasn’t able to go inside but would have loved to. There is small water splash where I think kids can play had we planned better and known about it.Meghna Rao

Great place and one of the oldest & finest universities in the world. This is a dream place for some students. This institute is very inspiring and admiring. The Widener library is well established. Massachusetts Hall is one of the oldest buildings. Harvard Yard is very amazing to look around. The university has a great history and great heights touched.Hari Swaroop
