I took an introduction to welding class for fun and to improve my skill set. The staff for the class are extremely knowledgeable and approachable. I learned a lot more than I ever expected in the classroom portion. I would have liked a little more shop time but the staff is there from early morning for the full-time students until after our class ended (between 8-9pm) so You can’t expect much more from them in that regard. Excellent facilities. It’s definitely worth the investment of only a couple hundred bucks.W Scott

I had a great tour of Dixie Tech and it’s new buildings, it was surprising to me how nice they were given their location. Their service was exceptional, the front desk was very helpful and my recruiter Dillon Hurt was great about filling me in on everything Dixie Tech has to offer. This really is a good school. It's really cheap and the acceptance rate is 100%, but I don't feel like that's reflected in it's performance. The environment is really nice, and it doesn't feel like a local community college. The programs and teachers are good, and the Holland library has everything you need. The HPC building has literally everything you could dream of for a gym, and it's free for all full time students. I'd really recommend coming here, as I don't think I've ever met anyone here with student dept. It's seriously a good school.Jaymii Bonadurer

The Queen Tribute Band ❤️ was great fun! I wish we could of heard the words of the songs better.Every one was dancing in front of their seats & singing along. One of the Best Concerts I've been to. The lead singer was a bit distracting because he was not dressed at all like Freddy Mercy.Even wearing a white tank top & jeans would have been a bit truer to the character .Like what Freddy wore a the Live Aid Concert. I enjoyed attending Dixie College years ago. However, I now do not like living nearby. The campus police is a joke with the females involved w male students and vise versa. The neighbors now are forced to tolerate loud dances past midnight with booming music and the children can’t sleep. Our cars get broken into regularly and overall vandalism and theft has greatly increased. The students are running the madhouse it has become and it appears there is no clear leadership.Tiffany Sargis

Does anyone get the feeling that many of these 5 star reviews are ingenuine? I attended Provo College for 2 semesters in 2011. I believe at the time they only offered an Associates for nursing, not a BSN. The tuition was very expensive, but they sit you down 1 on 1 with someone who gets you started on loans. At the time it seemed great that they were so helpful, but l later realized it was benefitting them more than me…which is why they make that part of the process so easy for students. I ended up leaving because the financial aid ended after 2 semesters and I didn't want $60k of debt for a 2 year nursing degree. The other thing that I didn't like was even though I was paying them insane tuition, they would have us come to a classroom for remote learning from Utah State University. This means you might take a math course from them and pay 3 grand, or however much it costs for one class, but you are basically doing it online/remote through USU…but you're paying way more than if you just went to USU. I later went to UVU and was able to compare the anatomy course I did at PC versus what students said it was like at UVU, and the course at UVU held students to a much higher standard. After a short personal experience at this college, and the ability to compare it to the other colleges I've attended, I wouldn't recommend it.Derek Drennan

I am about to finish my first year of nursing school. I have really enjoyed my experience here at Provo College. One of the the many things that I like about this program is the faculty. The faculty really gets to know you and you aren't just another number in the classroom. Each of them know me personally and even call me by my nickname. The faculty really wants you to succeed in the program. Tudors are made available to you if you are having problems in a course at no extra cost to you. Currently as a nursing program we are working on a service project, where we are making blankets for a local pediatrics unit. This is a great program that I would highly recommend! Provo College is such a great school!! The faculty, staff, and program administrators are totally invested in the students. I felt a genuine sense of caring from everyone there the first time I visited the campus- even the campus president took time to introduce himself and get to know me a little. The nursing program is amazing – all of my friends in the program had great internships, passed the NCLEX test the first time and have found fantastic jobs they love. The other programs are amazing also. I can't say enough good about this school!!!Staci

School here is nice and if you need something cheap, but UVU reinforces the comment that "University education is becoming less valuable." Half my professors were either teaching here their first time, didn't speak English, or had no expertise in their subject. I passed 2 years of credits by watching videos and drawing pictures during class: not because I'm smart, but because there was no content. Like in high school, many of the professors have 30% percent of their grade centered around attendance. Not participation, but attendance. So yes, I ignored class because everything I needed for an A was provided online. I'm typing this now during Philosophy class, and I am not missing anything. Books are hardly ever used but are "required" according to the professors. They gather dust on my shelf. Most problems here need to be fixed across the nation not just UVU, but I am a very frustrated student in my twenties because I don't know where my money is going. Teachers aren't happy with pay and all have second jobs. The building and resources are really really nice but I rarely need to use them since the internet was invented. UVU in general education has the same quality as Khan Academy except here, there is a physical address they want you to come to. There is a good range of food options but mostly crowded into the same building. Parking is ridiculous and there is no reason to pay $90 a year for the clustered insanity that the school created. Use the darn money to hire a civil engineer for God's sake. Once you pass general education and focus in to better classes, the rooms get nicer and the teaching quality doubles. Don't come here if you're not willing to graduate. Location is fine other than the city planning on the busiest road outside. If you're coming from the south east your drive will be dangerous, traffic is terrible and construction has been in effect for 4 years now. Very annoying. Train station is very convenient and is likely your best choice if you have a transportation method to your nearest station. Students who work feel punished because rent in the area is high, and pay low. Scholarships are handed to those without jobs first, those who aren't working for rent and tuition are the ones handed money from the school. Afternoon/Night classes are poor in options and schedule so working at a volatile job is ever more of a punishment. (Data from a few friends and strangers) Many activities, but the activities most advertised in my buildings were focused for helping women, about guest speakers, for the LGBT community, or cost $15. So I've never been to one, though free lectures and speeches are common. Overall, UVU focuses on medium-to-low education and welcoming everyone with open arms. But once you're here, you may want to transfer to BYU or drop out entirely.Isaac Benge

Coming here was the best decision I have ever made. Every single professor cares about my learning and the fact that the average class size is 23 (I’ve never had a class over 25) makes it so my teachers know me, know my name, know what type of student I am, and some even came to my wedding! I have also been incredibly impressed with the resources. You would have to TRY to fail at UVU, because they truly make it so easy to succeed. From job resources, free tutoring, professor office hours, financial aid and scholarships, and everything in between I honestly feel like every single person I talk to wants me to succeed. The campus is amazing and INDOORS like seriously it is the best part of campus. Shorts in the winter and pants in the summer. Sure parking can be hard, but you are 100% going to find that at any university and it is really only bad after 10am so if you have classes before that you will be fine. The social life is great and the activities are fun and well attended. Free food at all times and tons of on campus food options. I honestly feel like the education I received is worth a million times more than what the tuition is (one of the lowest in the nation for a university). UVU focuses on Engaged Learning, or learning by doing, and most my classes don’t even have textbooks or tests, just projects and resume building it’s amazing. Add that to the fact that it is open enrollment and you can see why it is the largest university in the state. Seriously. Come take a tour at least and see how awesome UVU is.Justine Rupprecht

In all honesty do NOT go here, if you have a better option do not come to this college, it is a over glorified high school. They aren't too expensive which is nice, but they charge many other ways, you must pay to take tests if you are not there the first day, they offer no flexibility when taking classes especially if you are working full time. The professors are 50/50 you either get great ones that work with you, answer quickly to your emails, and are awesome. Or you get awful ones that only two kids pass their class, they will put you on academic probation which I don't get because I am paying to go to school here, so why does it bother them if I failed one class because the professor was awful. In all honesty if you have a better option DO NOT GO HERE! I have never been so frustrated with a school before in my life.Kyra McMillan

Went from IT bro to IT pro I got the Information Technology certificate from here earlier this year and it definitely pointed me in the right direction and gave me motivation and a space to get industry certs as well. It was hard to go in and do your work sometimes because life's life but the instructors were really understanding and good at helping you succeed here to finish the program, Trent and Miles were especially helpful and good resources for me. If you're trying to land your first IT job this is the program to do especially if you do the Comptia cert. test prep courses along the way and pass a couple of those. I wouldn't say this is the only schooling you need to go far in IT but it's a great start and has opened a lot of doors for me. I was able to get an IT job right after I passed the A+ test here while still doing the Bridgerland program and have had no issue finding an IT job since then. However if you want to be paid what you're worth after you finish the program moving out of Logan is key lol. I feel like some people get discouraged in the thick of it because it's A LOT of videos and information to take in, but if you're motivated and can learn to stay awake and pump it out it's well worth the time/energy/money investment. The only negative thing I have to say is I wish they put a greater emphasis on AWS and Azure. Both are heavily used in almost every company today and I knew very little about them when I entered the real world. Microsoft has a lot of smaller certs that you can put together to form a bigger Microsoft cert and it would be cool if in the required courses you had to do one or two of those to push you to get a higher level Microsoft cert, and maybe learn a bit about cloud computing along the way.Grey Christensen

Hypocrisy is very prominent within the Interior Design course at Bridgerland. The instructors expect perfection. It says that on the rubric of multiple assignments. I wouldn’t have a problem with this if they could display perfection themselves. I have found mistakes that I had to bring to their attention so they could correct it. Their response was: “It looks like the assignment was not updated.” Obviously this was just a simple mistake, but DON'T EXPECT PERFECTION IF YOU CAN'T BE PERFECT YOURSELF. Their policy with their dress code is another instance of hypocrisy. They have a strict business casual, which makes sense. As an interior designer, I believe you should be dressed nice. “Plan on wearing clothing you would wear to an interview.” are the words an instructor told me. So I came to class in my business casual attire and multiple instructors were wearing pants with holes in them. Seems extremely hypocritical to me. This is just the beginning of the issues I saw with this course, but to wrap it up, there are a considerable number of flaws in this course. The Interior Design program at Bridgerland was not worth it for me and does not seem like quality education.tessa s

I like Bridgerland Technical College but the Interior Design Department definitely needs a facelift. I don't want to say I learned nothing in this program but I felt like I accomplished coursework and there were new ones that I know I didn't see there before. I made aware of the situation and the instructor said it was "optional" but I didn't know that later on it would be applicable in later coursework. I'd also like to add that the instructor might not know all the computer programs that she is "teaching" in this department. They programs head instructor is a great interior designer but does not know how to implicate the techniques to the program. It's not far that I and other people in that program have to be led down a rabbit whole of never ending coursework and having to repay money to worthless projects and programs that we learn nothing from. Pretty awful education experience. The vast majority of professors are terrible teachers. In fact, it's apparent they care more about their research that the school funds, than the actual students and the material they are teaching. So many teachers seem to have the mindset that "Oh, if these students aren't as passionate about this topic as I am, they are going to fail." Of course, there are a few incredible teachers, but they are few and far between. Not to mention, that a large population of the students act extremely entitled and judgy. Kinda of ironic, considering the school is owned and funded by a church that claims to have the most accurate understanding of Jesus Christ. Attending the school is incredibly cheap, however, to which I will praise. The opportunity to make it through school without any debt is a massive help for many. That being said, plan on changing your major multiple times, because almost every program is extremely competitive and very very difficult to get into. This is a school where dreams are quite literally crushed under the weight of academic pressure and prestige.Jacob Heiner

AMAZING!!! BYU runs one of the largest, if not the largest, comprehensive summer youth sports program in the country. They consistently draw student athletes from all over Utah, the Intermountain West, The Unites States and even have a number of international athletes every year. We have sent our own kids for 5+ years in multiple sports. They love it!! They love the week long sport specific camps, the housing option, the friends, camp counselors, student coaches, meals at the Canon Center and ice cream at the creamery store. This is a large campus with a number of different facilities. I love that there is no charge for the Bean museum or the Paleontology museum. The creamery makes just about the BEST I've cream I've ever tasted. The Wilkinson Student Center has a bowling alley and am extensive good court and more. Love the Arts center and basically find there is too much here to tell about, but it's worth a visit just to explore the campus. Love the bell concerts at noon.Leona Keesling

When deciding what EMT school to attend, I chose the one that had a class schedule coming up that best fit my schedule. I wasn’t worried about style or approach of the school, I was ready to attend class, study, take the exams all in preparation for the NREMT. I quickly realized the Utah Paramedic and EMT Academy is not a “school” rather it is what it says it is, an “Academy”. The Academy director is Andrew Nichols whose passion about quality prehospital care is contagious. Nichols has assembled a team of instructors and support staff that has created an Academy that is something akin to what I envision Plato’s garden to be like, where philosophy, knowledge, instruction, and training are always being disseminated to students ready to learn. On any given day, from 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. there is ongoing instruction, study session, tutoring, training, workshop etc. in progress. In the classroom, students are taught by experienced, seasoned instructors that are constantly providing real life experiences that help us understand the application of the concepts being taught out of the book. The instructors all share Nichols’s passion that students be taught concepts beyond what is in the book (physiology), namely that we are taught to understand the pathophysiology of what is occurring to our patients. While in class, we are constantly in motion, lecture, demonstrations, hands on training etc. (never a dull moment). So be warned, this is an Academy with high expectations, not a school that teaches to the test. This makes for an Academy of instructors and students who are committed to improving the quality of prehospital care for the sick and injured in our communities.Michael Clara

What a fantastic school! I've never seen a school where the instructors are so engaged with student learning. They freely give their own time to anyone who wants extra skills training or to review more in depth coursework. It is a rigorous program that is very hands on. You don't just sit in class and listen to someone read each chapter or boring PowerPoint slides. They have their own ambulance which they use to do mock call outs so what you're learning is applied. Instructor's were great, always willing to go above and beyond to help even on their off time. Whether it was skills or book work I always felt I had someone to call, ask, or show me over and over until I felt comfortable with what I was trying to learn. Class worked as a team and everyone made it a fun yet still kept it a great learning environment. Really liked having both indoor and outdoor instruction using the skills we were taught. This is not a day class, or a college course, or a scam. This is a Boot Camp led by a team who will force you to become a good EMT and have fun. Get up at 7 am to be there by 8, grab some coffee and start taking vitals and comparing homework or checking in with your group, attend lectures and complete assignments. Lots of demonstrations, videos, and the instructors tell tons of stories from their fields. I heard the most hilarious stories from Dan and Loren but everyone there has good humor and entertains while lecturing. Caleb was my favorite, the guy is so knowledgeable and concise and has a great voice. Everyone is pretty passionate about the subject matter and knows how to prevent boredom from setting in. We learn whole chapters and at a time during lectures and they give plenty of time to directly and thoroughly answering questions. After lectures, there's a lot of hands-on learning with mannequins\other people. At first it's just taking turns helping people stand up and learning how to take blood pressures or give epi but they get more and more realistic, by the end we'd get dispatched over the radio for a 911 call and have to push through a barricaded door into a dark room with music blasting and someone sobbing with open wounds or help a burn victim after an explosion. Maybe someone calls for a headache and I know that's just Nicole, but she's very good at her job so she's confused and losing consciousness and it 100% feels like a real patient having an emergency and sometimes we succeeded in saving the patient and sometimes we didn't. Every scene was a mystery and wrong decisions had consequences and it was designed to feel serious, everyone's rushing to set up the O2 tank or stop bleeds or figure out why the patient can't breathe. Jessa and Paige and John and the guy who looks kinda like Jack Black all gave us a hard time and really got in character with props and attitudes and as a theater kid myself I was impressed, they went the extra mile with everything. It was good information to have but it was fun, too. Class lasts around 12 hours but after the adrenaline and cramming and socializing, it often feels later. Get back to the hotel(a good discount is offered through Unitek) and study notes to pass your quizzes, do homework, type patient care reports. Or go to the bar with your new friends and talk about needing to study and end up getting a solid 3 hours of sleep. Tea, coffee, and hot cocoa are always available. There's always leftover lunches and dinners in the fridge as well. Lunch and dinner include a main dish, side dish, and sometimes a dessert. It's real food, too, the chicken might be kinda dry but it's no sack lunch. There's also vending machines and a nearby circle k in case you need another energy drink. It's an extremely challenging, stressful class and a lot of people wereconvinced at one point that they were going to fail or have to quit. It feels impossible to achieve everything expected for graduation and everyone has such a different background that it starts to feel hopeless at times, but the staff just push you through to the end and before you know it you're reciting all the acronyms and procedures and walking out with your certificate. The staff there are awesome, supportive, and trustworthy, everyone instructor was someone's favorite. Everyone cares a lot there. I would recommend this for anyone with determination and willingness to trust the process, regardless of skill level or experience, because they've seen it all and they've got your back. I already kinda miss it. 10\10 recommended, I'm lucky I came here.Green

It's very rare that you are thrown into a room between 40 other people who all have the same goal in mind, and who are all phenomenal individuals in their own right. Unitek was an incredible experience. The structure of the lessons and the pace of learning are very well researched and thought out. Each chapter was well involved, and the instructors left plenty of room for questions. This is, by far, the best EMT course in the nation. Everything combined made it the perfect way to learn and to push yourself. One of the other guys in the class had taken another EMT course, and had taken the NREMT, and said that he learned way more at Unitek than his other course. Incredible instructors. Each one has practical experience and shares that knowledge with the students. An intense course that prepares you for the EMS profession. Definitely prefer it over a longer and more drawn out course. They do an excellent job balancing lecture and hands-practice and you will come out of it prepared to work. I passed my NREMT exam on the first try because of the excellent job they do preparing you for the test. They also pay for your first two attempts and for a review service that was extremely helpful. I had to fly out to Vegas to get my national registry paramedic practicals done. this place exceeded my expectations not only with the service they provided but how welcoming they where to someone from out of town. I paid to do the prep exam the day before so I could become familiar with the sites stuff and it was such a great help. it put my mind at ease for the following day. on exam day everything ran very smooth, very professional. we knew by the end of we had to retest and retest where offered that day. We contracted with Guardian EMT to provide our CPR/AED/First aid training to our staff at our assisted living community and they were exceptional! JT and Maria were professional, organized and very engaging. The classes are very informative and thorough. JT’s experience in the medical field created an exceptional learning environment. The staff is very educated and involved and truly care that the students succeed. It is difficult to find times for scheduling these courses for our staff since we have 24-hour staffing. J.T. and Maria with Guardian came out to teach my security team members. They offered the best quality first-aid training I have ever experienced. (I am an Army combat arms veteran and have taken many courses over the years.) We covered Assessments, CPR, AED and use. They covered the treatment of adults, children, babies etc. They had the latest train tools and materials and have brought many years of actual emergency response experience to the table. Their knowledge and ability to train trauma treatment is absolutely unparalleled. I recommend them to any organization. They are also very reasonably priced, and a great value!Scott Campbell

JT and Maria taught many things that I hadn't learned before, despite having prior CPR and AED certification. They explained the mechanics, science, and biology behind CPR and AED's; how to apply them properly for people of all ages and genders; and why it is so important to administer them correctly. When we talked about First Aid, we did hands-on practice with equally thorough explanations. Maria and JT were patient with questions and took the time to make sure every individual understood each aspect of each training. They are excellent instructors, and very friendly. Unfortunately, I had the opportunity of attending a different EMT school (EMT Utah) before this, and I can not even begin to describe how disappointed I was in the overall experience/teaching/professionalism etc. Alex and the Utah EMT Academy could not have been more of polar opposite experience for me. I had a lot of anxiety coming into this class due to the negative experience I previously had at the other school I attended. Alex is an abundance of wealth and knowledge with years of experience working as a Paramedic and Fire Chief. I have taken a lot of classes throughout 4 years of college and Alex has one of the best teaching styles I have experienced. Each class was filled with real world examples and scenarios. Alex does a great job of articulating each topic in different ways in order to cater to different learning styles. He also provides interactive visuals, making it easy to stay engaged. Although my class was small and early in the morning, Alex kept things both fun and personable each day. On top of all this the building/facilities and equipment that Alex has is really nice and great for skills and hands on learning. I left this class feeling prepared and confident to take my national EMT exam. I plan to take my Advance EMT class through Utah EMT Academy with Alex in the future as well. The instructor of this academy is incredibly educated, well-versed, and an amazing teacher. My husband and I were impressed with the amount of knowledge and skills that we were able to impart with. Graduated on the 19th of Dec., 2020 and got certified on the 6th of Jan., 2021. this was a great class and Michele, Tadyana, Nicole, Kyle, and Tori are outstanding instructors. the course structure and how the information is presented not only made learning fun, but it gave me the information and confidence I needed to pass the NREMT cognitive exam on my first try. Now I am starting my AEMT course this week with EMT Utah and the awesome instructors of the Clearfield campus and I know I will receive the best training in the state. When the Army National Guard & Air National Guard needed to train for mass casualty disaster relief, EMT Utah mobilized hundreds of people from the community – students, faculty, friends and family – to come out in bitterly cold temperatures and lay on the ground, down in the mud, allowing the Guard to practice their mission-essential rescue skills. I was privileged to work with them, and I cannot sing their praises highly enough! They were a truly professional and selfless group. EDIT: if you get Maddie for Orem days you will have an AMAZING EXPERIENCE!!!! Maddie taught us everything we needed to know I’m 2 days. She is incredible and truly cares about each of us and our success. She will discuss job experience with you and nursing stuff and she’s the most helpful in navigating the future after this class. If you get anyone but Maddie don’t take it. Maddie deserves a RAISE. This program was EXTREMELY disappointing. We showed up the first day and no instructor showed up and we were not contacted. We had to reach out to them and were told there was a scheduling conflict and class would be canceled. We were not paid back for that day for THEIR mistake (given a 1 hour credit that did nothing and “a $10 gift card” ). We should have been paid back completely for that day as we all showed up. In the workbook you get it says that times can change with no notice which is ABSURD for a program I paid $495 for. This is not ANYWHERE on their website so for them to enforce this or even have this as a policy is absolutely ridiculous. We had to then show up 30 minutes earlier than our class was scheduled for because of their scheduling problems. This was a HORRIBLE start to the class. We then had an instructor (Carol) who read from the book from the hours of 8-5 and we rarely got to practice skills. One of the days we were going to have to leave at 12 because the instructor had to leave for something unrelated to this scheduled class we were all upset as we would have had to make up those hours for something that again was not our problem. They found a sub and we were able to practice skills with her for that time and none of us knew what we were doing because we hadn’t gotten to practice anything except for an hour here and there for a week of the two week program. I was so disappointed with this program and would never recommend this program to anyone. They have little regard for the money you paid or for the dates you scheduled out specifically for this class, but expect you to bend anytime the instructor cannot make it for whatever reason. We have one full day left of class (Thursday) and we have 11 skills we still need to learn and pass off all 22 skills and then Friday we have a final. It is going to take us 4 hours to finish reading one chapter. Not a great use of time in my opinion.Lindsay Gomez

My coarse was pretty informative and to the point. Kat was amazing, always checking in with us and she responding very promptly with questions or concerns. Thanks Kat! Now a huge shout out for the best instructor I have ever came across. Linda Oldham was so full of character from the first minute she began. She was doing the skills solo due to Covid. And DO NOT under estimate her for one minute. She made every second of the class a learning experience I will never forget. I have raved about her to all my co-workers in healthcare. I highly suggest this class to anyone that would like to get their CNA and if you are lucky, then you will have the pleasure of having Linda teach the skills. I strongly recommend. Cathy was the greatest instructor. I couldn't make the first day of class and showed up the second with hopes of somehow making things work. She immediately took me under her wing and brought me up to speed. Her philosophy is that the class is a unit and advances together at the same pace. I felt so supported and hopeful. We took the final today and the whole class passed, the majority scoring in the 90's! If it works with your schedule, do the day 2 week course with Cathy as your instructor. I don't have a lot of experience with Weber State University. I did attend a big conference on their campus today. Their food services provided the meal and it was excellent. It's cool they have shuttles to drive the students in from the parking lots far away. On that shuttle I met the most amazing, young, smart student. Amazing day to disc golf! Went around three times and did good my first two rounds, but excelled my last round! Also, UDisc is an app that is all about disc golf; keeping score (including ob/penalties), and a map guide as well it's awesome! I almost aced the third hole 😃Jacob Canfield

Weber State is an amazing university. Their campus is just gorgeous and is always taken care of. The best part is that it’s on the mountain so you always get amazing views. Their staff are so helpful and they offer some amazing classes.Alex Bracken

This is a small campus so if you aren't willing to get to know the people and you go home every weekend you will not like USUE. However, if you like the idea of knowing people and being known then this is the place for you. Scholarships are great, the town is quaint, and the professors care about you. I went to USUE before transferring to BYU and it was a stark contrast. Though I loved BYU, Eastern cared about me. I was a person and my teachers were invested in me. The letters of recommendation I got from professors were incredible because I knew the professors and administration well. If you want to have a good time become friends with the local kids. They have access to boats, four wheelers, cabins, etc. If you sit in your dorm and wait for the fun to come to you then Price will be a disappointment. It's all about attitude.Kaylen Nelson

Heavy equipment trucking cdl course Leon, Brad, Amber, beef are really great teachers and instructors if one is struggling with one other they will trade off and help you so you can understand it in the way that you may need. My husband went through this course in the spring and now I’m going through the summer course and about to test out to graduate with my cdl. If you could have just kept us on the other side is the mountains where other people can have the same benefits as the main campus, maybe closer to home or even giving a chance what people along the Wasatch Front to go away from home. For many first-year students this is where they want to come so they can move out of their parents house and experience their college life. Still close to home, but still on those own. It's a good campus with a lot of offers of classes, good facilities, and great instructors.Mike N

VERY DISRESPECTFUL!!! I tried reaching out multiple times to find out some information about enrollment and Cristy Price, the registrar hung up on me! She was very rude and impatient, and that is NO way to treat a potential student! I was very polite and had a few questions, like every potential student does. I wish people wouldn't leave reviews about their ambulance experience on the SCHOOL'S PAGE. The school does not control the ambulance division. That's a completely different department. The Grady EMS academy is outstanding and if you know what's good for you then you would go here. The instructors are experienced Paramedics and the hands on experience is like no other. I am currently a sophomore at Utah State and have been more then happy with the school. I have seen a few bad reviews on here and all the complaints sound like immature children who aren't responsible enough to be adults. Every staff member I've dealt with is kind and knowledgeable. I have had wonderful help with my academic skills from the Student Support Services. I changed majors a lot and struggled for a while but was helped the whole way. Not only that but my wife and I have been able to pay cash up front for me to finish and almost payed off all her student loans. When I graduate I will be debt free and able to earn a very decent living for my family. I once thought about transferring to another school and told one of my professors. He got almost all his associates in the program to convince me to stay and show that I was wanted and my success there mattered. With all these good things going it hasn't been perfect. I do think too much money is spent on the sports programs… but what University isn't that way. None would be financially stable without sports investors… which is society's problem not the university's. So I feel that any of these drastic complaints come from people who just haven't grown up enough to take responsibility for their actions. Utah State is a Grade A University that has always been highly influential in U.S. History. Take the time to give it the chance it deserves. And you won't have to go into a crap-load of debt to do so if you are smart.!Brandon Todd

Very disappointed in a school that does not help it's own students. By it's own admission on their website they accept everyone but only 3% who apply but in accepting all these students to gain their money they don't even make sure that even basic needs for an incoming student is provided like enough housing or even parking. The shortage of housing verses students is ridiculous and even more ridiculous is that when they know there is an issue of overnight parking that they keep their parking lots closed to the very students they lured to their school making their lives miserable when they can easily help. They are quick to point fingers and claim it's not their problem. So thanks Utah State for being so good to your students. I would recommend to anyone considering this school to re-think if this is how they treat students.Keri Ponting

Nice facilities but the staff leave something to be desired. Can't speak to the faculty. We reserved a building to use for a community event and they said it would be ready. We arrived and that was not the case. They had to send security to come unlock the building. It apparently, "was on the calendar, we just missed it…" I hope they forget to look at cars that don't have parking passes!Cody Simonsen

This review is not from a student point of view, rather as citizen in the community. My family and I have attended 2 activities this summer. One paid at affordable rate for the family, and one free. I love the U of U!! Since I was a child we played in the fountains at the library. Took classes and enjoyed them very much!! My son got his bachelor's in kinesiology there and loved it. My father got a teaching degree there. My sister got a Pharmacy degree there. My daughter is currently getting an engineering degree there. My sister got a math teaching master's there. The stadium expansion is nearly done. They are preping for Garth Brooks this weekend. The new suites are looking good. The new locker room is unbelievable! The team that has been working on this really deserve a huge thank-you. The U will have one of the nicest stadiums around.J Mack

STUNNING location! Next to the mountains overlooking the Salt Lake Valley. Easy to find. Simple to navigate inside the stadium. Plenty of volunteers and staff to answer questions. Heavy friendly police and EMS presence. Very clean. Wish the concessions had more variety available.Rachel E Stewart
