20 Best Sonography Programs In Los Angeles, CA (2022 Updated)

I was a student back in 2018. Came back for the spring 2022 semester, and the "president" Ms.Katrina VanderWoude, has ran this place directly into the bottom of the barrel. I remember when President Larry Frank was here. Good times. He was amazing. I never seen the problems I see now when he was here. Anyone else would have handled the pandemic better than VanderWoude. This used to be my favorite school, I was always saying to family and friends how much I loved trade tech. Well that time has passed. The outside of campus is filthy, the sheriffs are rude, they don't open the gates in the morning as they should, website is hardly updated, bookstore is garbage, no help for students in terms of supportive services etc. Its no wonder enrollment is low. LACCD can blame Ms.VanderWoude for that. The only upside is the professors. And yes I am fully aware Ms.VanderWoude is "Dr" but since lacks respect for students and staff then I will lack respect for her. Trade tech is my home school but I will be switching it to ELAC. That campus has surpassed trade tech in every possible way and I love going there for classes. I hope VanderWoude gets replaced soon for the sake of the campus.Karina Gomez

I am currently in the third semester taking the carpentry program. Los Angeles Trade Technical College is a great school. October will be 3 years that I have been attending this college. I also got my GED through Trade Tech.The majority of the professors and staff are very respectful and kind. Update I finished the carpentry program and found a job in the construction field with great pay. I would definitely recommend Los Angeles Trade Tech Technical College to someone that wants to learn a trade or just take some classes. If you do decide to go put all your effort in your studies it will pay off.Michael Valdez

Finally getting to go to college Cypress college is a perfect fit for one I know the area quite well and the ladies in the financial aid department were so helpful they were more than eager to find out any and all blocks that were happening that was preventing my semester to start and corrected it right away Cypress college has so many classes so many organizations that actually help people within the community whether it be for shelter food medical schooling clothing counseling and if they do not have what you're looking for they will get the information to get you to the proper place I witnesses good people at that college I'm proud to go thereJackie Ray Bass

I applied 7/23 and never received an email containing my student I’d. And yes I checked my junk mail. I emailed admissions per my acceptance email after not receiving my student id after 5 business days. Received an automated email saying someone would respond within 48 hours. NOTHING. Tried their “virtual drop in counseling’ and the page is not accessible. Called the college on a Thursday and get a beeping tone. Totally unprofessional. I’m guess the college is closed? Or they don’t have the tools to properly run a college? This is my WORST experience enrolling in a college ever!!!Brooke Bennett

I love Cypress College, I've almost finished my GE and I've only had one teacher that wasnt so great. The campus is safe and beautiful. The counselors are very nice and helpful. They have a financial aid office that is also very nice and helpful. I plan on transferring from Cypress College and go to Biola. So far, my experience has been great. Today, there was free lunch that was given out! I feel that Cypress College does it's best to serve their student thoroughly.Joy Hong

Graduated here in 2018. Yes the school is not perfect. but it is affordable and offers all sorts of academic programs for students & for those who are interested in learning a new skill. A few issues with the homeless people who easily make their way in the school's restroom and leave all their mess inside. A bit more security is also needed because of the area surrounding the school, but overall it's a good community college. Looking back now, I miss every moment I got to spend here. I graduated spring 2022 and is the best experience in my life. 2014 to 2016 the services are bad. When they build the student services building 2017 They are improving till now and a lot of students go there to enroll very good service now than before. The school itself is very deceptive and nitpicks their students for arriving a few minutes late from a lunch or if you need to take a day off. Expect to be treated like a child and watched from their cameras. The school has no problem lying to students; our class went through hell trying to get the labs, site visits, the MRI simulator program they installed 2 weeks before our class was over they promised and we paid for. The recruiters will tell you about their "associate degree" but you try to hide that it’s an associate of applied science (AAS) degree which is a degree that takes 2 years but credits and not transferable and don’t count towards a bachelor’s degree. The administration staff is not on your side. Previous classes communicated to us how the school constantly drops the ball and they’ve been waiting 3 weeks for the school to pay the fee so they could take their ARMRIT tests and get their certification. Students who fall behind on their payments have been harassed despite paying what they could and being fully aware they can’t graduate without paying the balance. A teacher we had for a few months did not have a teaching skill set and was often rude and inappropriate to students that asked questions. The school had issues with this teacher in the past and had to re-teach all of physics to the previous MRI class as a result but the school brought him back not only for our class but again for the class that followed ours. We were amazed that after all we went through and the negative history they still brought him back. The school attempts to be fast paced and rush the studying but doesn’t supply good teachers, good books or good resources. The anatomy book for example is intended for massage therapists and physical therapists. At the time of our class there was only a single skeleton missing many pieces. There is no physical MRI simulator here, only a hospital bed and a construction laser line hanging from the roof (See Photo). You’re supposed to lay under it and have someone set up a scan by moving the bed. Our class was promised monthly site visits by the recruiters but only had two site visits. You'd think for the $2700 a month each student pays they could invest a little into the class room and curriculum. I have literally spent my personal time making presentations and tests for the class because that particular teacher was not computer literate. You start off in medical terminology with Caesar who is a great teacher and everything will seem well. After 2 or 3 months depending on if he teaches medicolegal they move you to a different teacher and the trouble will start. Eventually our class did get a good teacher but she quit on the last day of class tired of dealing with the schools BS. Complaints result in the teacher getting in the line of fire because they weren't able to handle it themselves or the school attempting to sweep it under the rug. One class for example had a known drug user who has passed out in class high but they allowed him to return, later in the week he was found overdosed in his car. This place is just one bad decision and one shortcut after another. I was personally shown the door because I had come to the school director with class-wide issues. The owner of the school David personally came to our class and basically told us it is what is and if you dont like it you can go. Which is easy for them to say because the MRI credits don't transfer to other schools so all your money, work and time goes to waste if you leave. If you try and file a formal complaint the owner David and his staff will hold a meeting which you are not permitted to record but Silvia the director will take notes on and leave out any pertinent information that makes the school look bad. If you have a class wide complaint, follow my advice and GO AS A CLASS. They are your judge and jury so you have no recourse besides sending a letter to the ACCSC or filing a class action lawsuit but at least they can’t argue with numbers.Jeremy Boggs

PLEASE READ! DO NOT GO HERE! If I could give this school a rating lower than One star I would. I am a current student here for phlebotomy and the communication with the staff has been absolutely horrible. The coordinator that is suppose to find you site, Brittany Wilson, does not do her due diligence to get the clinics that you are to be attending prepared for your arrival and you are walking into (in most cases) a facility that is not COVID regulated, practicing unethical methods of venipuncture, and requiring you to do administrative work more than the actual internship you are there for. My classmates and I have complained to the management staff as well as Brittany herself and have gotten no where. The school has externship sites that they are not renewing the contract with and do not have insurance covering us going to these sites due to an expired contract. The first site I was placed at was Spanish speaking only, the second was practicing starting IVs and drawing blood with no gloves on, and the third that I was placed I was told that this site was fully aware of me starting on 3/15 with their clinic and notified staff (Leslie Kong, Brittany Wilson, Sylvia Espin) that I have taken off those days per that information. I EVEN HAD THE CONVERSATION OVER THE PHONE!!! CONFIMRING. Yesterday I receive an email stating that the site decided not to take me and my classmate. After speaking with Brittany Wilson no less than two days ago. This is ridiculous. This school just wants to take your money, not give you the proper supplies for education, and is not a reputable business. Nor as an academic facility do they have a library. Im a graduate from NP College I completed the Medical Assistant course. The school was great and the staff memebers are very helpful and nice. My recruiter was Maria Razo she was great and very helpful throughout the whole course i was there. Any questions or concerns i had her or Jeovanni help me.the hours are felxable and The material for each course was well explained and instructed. After the terminology and anatomy comes the hands on which i felt i learned so much from and made it more comfortable when i went out in the field. My teacher explained and showed us each technique well and gave us confidence when we felt like we couldnt do things and when it came for our final my teacher help me prep for the test and passed the first time. Graduation was great also. Over all the school was great and when graduating the school helped me get a job at HealthCare Partners right away and ive been with them for 6years now thanks to them helping me get here. So yes i would recommend this school not just for there Medical Assistant course but there other courses as well so take the time and if your looking for a career go check them out finacial services will also help you to see your payment options.KaT G.

When I first enrolled everyone was super friendly and helped me with the process and it went smoothly. The teachers and staff are very kind and caring and will go out of their way to help when you have trouble with assignments. And when you finish with the corse they help you to find a job in no time! PROS: -Nearly all of courses are open enrollment, which makes it very easy to enroll. -There is a range of classes and many of them are offered both online and on campus. -The staff are very friendly and helpful. -The refunds department is very helpful. -Enrollment is easy to work with. -Certificate programs can be more applicable to real world than some undergrad degrees Neutral: -There is a clear distinction between UCLA and UCLA Extension. Cons: -No student ID cards are issued to extension students -Generally excluded from using library, recreational activities, some other resources that require a student ID. -You do not get a student email account -The extension parking permits are only usable after 4:30pm, so if you perhaps find yourself at the school to meet with your professor or student services earlier in the day, you will need to find another parking option. -The Data Science Intensive program is not worth the money. You will likely need to Google all your coursework and homework.Andrew Sein

I am extremely disheartened with the deterioration in student support services. Instead of passing the buck, pretending a request hasn't been received, asking for more steps to be taken, more hoops to be jumped, and employing diversion tactics, how about we all do our jobs and take accountability for our actions or lack thereof. Another problem is the staff doesn't stick. Students don't know whom to contact for any issues. One doesn't always want to bother the academic advisor or DSO. I do appreciate new initiatives. International students were thrown out of the country on July 6, 2020. We are dealing with the trauma of a disrupted life and demolished dreams. The new circumstances are not yet favorable for international students. I applaud the efforts of the school (UCLA Extension with UCLA) to help us cope in this regard even if some instructors don't get it.Rati Tripathi

UCLA Extension has shown themselves to be incredibly disappointing in how they support their students (they don't). With the recent administration ruling, which threatened international students' stay in the states, this institution has given students zero productive updates and guidelines. Nothing on their website. Nothing on their social media. They did not reach out to their students to show any solidarity in this very difficult and scary time. Avoid this place if you can especially if you're a student planning to study abroad. Just by their lack of response /especially/ during a time as difficult as this, they will not support you if anything else comes up. If you're looking for a school that cares about you and your education, and not just your money, THIS ISN'T IT. Find a school that cares.Nina N

I have to represent my school! I dont know about the other programs but I finishes the LVN program graduated in Jan. 2015 the nursing department is amazing!! The school really goes above and beyond to train us and give us as much experience as they can. Shout out to Dr. Haney the nursing director!! Love this guy! He is a nurse and guess what also a Physician. We his students couldent be in better hands. Like every school they are not perfect but knowing you have a dedicated and devoted director that is willing to play theory instructor, clinical instructor, and spend his nights and weekends helping you and your education incase his staff fails, thats priceless! He is a role model to all students and staff and proves it if needed. I have the luxury to say a Dr. Was my theory instructor in nursing school and my classmates and I slammed dunked the NCLEX yeeea!! About job hunting I recommend alredy being in the field before you go spend $29k on a program obviously. I was alredy a CNA for 2yrs. And it was easier for me to get a job. Which I got right away by the way! $22/hr start off pay couldent get better for me and my family. I am so thankful to this school. Mr.Lee you are deeply appriciated and loved as well!Carla Espinosa

Staff was very nice. However, the ultrasound program is not accredited. When asked about if and how many students were employed here or near LA after graduation, they only kept saying examples of very few students that got employed in other states and small cities, pretty much anywhere that would overlook the program not being accredited because they needed employees. And even then it took them months to find the job. You can't sit for the ARDMS exam after graduation until after you have a year of full time paid work experience (which will be nearly impossible to find a job with out having done the exam or going to a caheep school.) Do your research please before picking a college for the AAS DMS program. This one wasn't the one for me. I decided to go to an accredited school which was only $1,000 more than WCUI. Worth the money because the school is very nice, modern, and its less of a hassle to sit for the ARDMS exam (which ima able to do quickly with out the paid work experience because of going to an accredited school.)Jennifer Martinez

West Coast Ultrasound Institute has been amazing to me, and every part of my experience they have been positive and given me high confidence that I made the right choice when I picked this school to get my training. The equipment is always available and the staff are super helpful, going above and beyond to help me when I need extra learning, and giving me encouragement when I’m on the right track. Fariba is one of the best teachers I’ve ever had in my life, she knows her stuff! As a lab instructor she is professional, Polite and she has great teaching skills, she cares about her students. When I need help she’s there, in class or out of class. Her instructions are very clear, with her lectures and techniques given to me and the other students to become more efficient sonographers. I know with these facilities and the staff here at WCUI, I’m going to be well prepared for a career in the field. I also just recently passed my SPI board exam. Study! You have to take it serious. Show up, participate, study, study again. I graduated in 2019 Dec. There are some things that I wasn't clinically prepared for once I was on my own. So be assertive when doing clinicals and learn. If you drive be prepared to pay for parking everyday at campus! We had validations but it still cost about 5 dollars. The teachers I had were very knowledgeable and they change throughout the year. Also the teachers gave me references and even job recs.. When I say knowledgeable I mean in the field and nursing stuff not on teaching lmao!! I didnt give five 5 stars because they need a guidance counselor, I dont like one of the receptionist, one of my teachers was very brash, I'm missing some clinical experience, parking, and 3 people I know forsure didn't graduate or get licensed because they couldn't pass ATI. Currently going to start the LVN program, couldn’t be more excited & nervous but Angeles college really helped me learn more about the medical field. Coming to Angeles college was an amazing experience. The staffs are really nice and Ms Lopez is an amazing teacher, everyone there are really helpful and they are willing to work with you on making it an amazing experience. I remember if I ever had any doubts or I needed help they're always willing to lend a hand. MS Lopez was an amazing teacher, she was my MA/phlebotomy teacher every time I had trouble or I didn't understand anything, she would always work with me and help me understand the material. Everyone who works in the front office are really amazing staffs. I do not recommend the school to anyone. I did not take the certified medical assistant exam right away and when I call them to ask them about it they said it was too late and I would not be able to take the exam. This is in fact not true. I found out I have 60 months from the time of graduation to take the exam. I misplaced my diploma and in order to get it they required me to come in in person and pay in cash and then return to pick it up. I need this diploma in order to sit for the exam and I work Monday through Friday 8 to 5. They are completely unwilling to work with me or help me. This is unlike many of the other schools available. I was very young and had no guidance at the time and will never recommend the school ever to anybody.coco cook

What makes this school great is the Job Placement Assistant Advisor Christopher Aono, he's a very Optimistic Guy full of energy always ready to help the Students. Although I only met Mr. Aono for only a month he has been very helpful for placing me in a clinic to do my Externship. From all the other staff he really reaches out from the rest by keeping in contact asking me how am doing at the clinic. Also he has a good Vibe that brings to the school and for him to be the First person to say congratulations to me for graduating and to say that he's proud of me for completing my hours and getting hired is overall great. The class and professor Dr. Rivera was great ! But lack of communication with students is what this school needs to fix on. It can be messy at times how they work. They give out checks and my last one was never given because it was given to the wrong student. I tried calling the school and they would transfer me to different line and it seems like no one picks up the phone at all. They just have you jumping around and it’s like no one can help you out after all and you gotta find your solution to your problem yourself.jenipher reyes

I graduated from CDI on June 2022! I passed my NCLEX on the first attempt with 75 questions! It was an amazing experience because of the friends I made along the road, helpful staff, and their financial aid! This school changed my life! The staff members are incredibly supportive and always available for tutoring or anything else that you may need to get you to the end of the program and NCLEX ready. At the time of this review, I'm a student that is almost finished with my schooling here. I am a part of the x-ray technician with medical assistant skills (XTMAS) program here, and I feel this is a good institution for learning this trade. The classwork involved quite a bit of homework, especially for the MA portion, but the instructors make themselves available basically every day for questions and possible tutoring along the way. I felt well-prepared for my clinical externship, and now that I've finished, I feel ready for my state licensing exam and the job that will follow. For anyone looking into the idea of starting here though, I'd definitely recommend not working while in school, if possible. If you have to work, part-time is gonna be your best option, so you still have time for homework. Overall, I'm glad I picked this school.Gabriel Nofer

Reclaiming my time!!! I am just beyond appalled with the "help" I did not receive. After submitting an application via the website it took about 2 weeks for a member to reach out to me. When they did reach out to me all they told me about was that the class started in which I was trying to take which was security guard that it started yesterday on Monday March 7th. Being that I completed an application way before the start time of the class you would think someone would reach out to me and tell me about the funding that they have available. Not the case. I was told to call a number and figure it out myself as far as funding goes for the security class. Long story short if your looking for a security class to take and your paying for it then go online it's far cheaper! Very disappointed.sadiq bolden

I was attended for 6 Months until Mr. T automotive technician class stopped due to him retiring . & unfortunately he didnt input my attendance so basically only got certified for Technology 1 & Suspension and Steering . For being there for six months I was told I was suppose to receive more certifications than two . So I called the office and they informed me if I wanted to get those certifications that I didn’t get that I would have to retake the class and to make matters worse till this day they still haven’t found a replacement for the automotive tech class! So I basically just wasted my time . So unprofessional so unorganized . What a waste of timeBryant Mena

Wasted 2 precious years of my life and money at this school. This school lacks too many things to list here but I'll share with you a couple of them. First, the instructors are nice and well taught only thing is their equipment are old and not enough to go around. Secondly they need to hire a qualified Admin dept personnel, not a person off the street. And my biggest disappointment about this school is that you will NOT get a job after graduating from this school !!!! I am in debt right now as we speak for the tuition I owed, and if I can turn back the time, I will use this money on something useful. I will stay away from this school if I were you, there are other similar schools may cost a little bit more but they are and will be well worth your money and have a better chance at landing you the job after graduation. I've attended ATI College back in 2009. It was the best choice i made since. They sent me to Long Beach VA Hospital for my externship and It was amazing!! I learned soo much. Everyone @ ATI was really very pleasant and I had the Best Instructors. All the Instructors are ARDMS Certified and Experienced Doctors. I received emails wkly from the career services @ ATI. I was determined to find a job and so I took advantage using those emails and sending out my resumes. I found a job 3 mo's after graduating from ATI and have been working as a sonographer since. My experiences and payroll has increased 3xs. I know it is a difficult world we live in but it all starts with you. whether you want to succeed in this career or not. It's up to you!!! I attended ATI College in 2010. I was very lucky to have knowledgeable instructors who were always willing to help when I asked. They also set me up with a great externship site at a hospital where I gained a lot of experience and I was able to find a job within a month after finishing my externship. There were some people who were unable to find a job afterwards but those were usually the students who were always missing class or not using their class time wisely. Basically, you get back what you put in. I would recommend this school to anyone who is willing to put in the time and effort into a new career.Claudia S

Do Not Waste Your Money Or Time This School Should Be Shut Down and The Government Should Stop The Funding Immediately!!! Don’t Do It !!! This school is completely unprofessional. First they expect you to come to school no matter what I told this lady I was in the hospital she continues to ask me if I could leave the hospital to attend class for 20 mins. Have some consideration for peoples health and well being. Then the guy that collects the student payments is a scam, i paid this man 100 to make my payments for the month of December and January this man only paid for December then charged my account again when I asked about the problem he lied and said I didn’t make a payment for the month of January but Luckily I kept my receipt. He tried to laugh it off but he’s a scam and he shouldn’t be trusted but the school fails to do anything about it because they never even listen to their student they expect our money but can’t even provide us with experienced workers or teachers. Then with the teachers they are horrible they literally have you come to school to waste your time you learn nothing from them everything I’ve learned has been from YouTube or textbooks, you come to school to do the same things they have you doing at home. The teachers and administration are never on the same level your teacher will tell you one thing then the administration says another very unprofessional and unorganized. Honestly you are better off learning how to do nails or hair because this will have you in debt up to your ears for no reason. Government officials if you see this, please pull all funding from this school, they are not doing right by the students or the money your provide them with. That money can go into public schools or to help with financial aid but this school is undeservingSomo Dupree

In my honest opinion please by all means do not I repeat do not go to school here. I went to this school 7 years ago and still till this day have not received my certificate for completing dental assistance program. I was also charged an additional $3,000 by this school. Never once did i receive a Bill or notification stating i owed additional funds for xyz to uei i found out by the amount due hitting my credit score which dropped 66pts … This school charged me 23,000 all together and promised me i would get employment and that they would help place me in a dental office to get my office training part done which was a big part of getting your certificate and they never helped me with anything..its been the biggest burden of my life i wish i would have never gone here. But when you're a young mother and are desperate for a change you will do just about anything to help your family and these people took advantage of that.rochelle bellas

Graduated from the HVACR program at gardena site, STAY AWAY FROM UEI. They do not have the supplies to properly train and teach anything. They are low on everything at one point they even ran out of refrigerant, so how can we learn anything with no hands on training after you graduate they harass you for payments when you are in fact making payments. I just talk to somebody today told them I will make a $100 payment and they told me they’re marking it down as refusal to pay. This is the worst school possible I do not even know how they maintain their Accreditation. The career services is a joke. The jobs that get you are with the worst companies to work with. Went there to get my medical assistant it was a waste of time and money basically they just sold my certificate. I was the only one there in a class taking medical assistant while everyone else was pharmacy technician so I had to sit in same class. Everyone would speak Armenian including teacher and daughter's and me and 2 other girls that were Hispanic just sat there and isten. No one taught me what to do till these day I regret putting time and money here and worst of all they didn't want to give me my money back.claudia Perdomo

I have been attending Galaxy Medical College since 2019 and I am glad I decided to attend here. The staff is wonderful and caring. Dr. Anna, Helen, Arpi and the rest are very sweet and knowledgeable at what they do. They are on top of your academics and help you when you need it. You will not regret coming here. I am a current student at American college of healthcare massage and physical therapy program. I highly recommend this program, since you will have two sets of skills about graduation . You can work as a massage therapist in any of the resorts, hotels or massage parlors local to where you live. Most massage therapy students have been hired by Massage envy, which is partnered with the school. You can also get a physical therapy assistant position at a physical therapy establishment. it takes around 8 months and before you know you graduate and can get a good job.Ali Bekam

Also any doubts he is always there to give a good explanation for any questions i have or other students. I am a new student here, taking the medical billing and coding program here. I happened to find this school by doing my research on all these vocational schools around my area. This is the only one that offers the national testing from the AACP. All the other schools will not tell you this and they will lie and tell you that they are nationally accredited and its really just a diploma. I have been in this school going on 3 months now and I love the school and the criteria being taught to me. The teachers explain things in a way to help you understand and they genuinely want you to do well on your test and pass. Its a great environment and positive place. I would recommend this school to anyone looking to get into any of the fields that they offer here. And doing my research, this schools program is the cheapest than any of the other schools, they give you all materials needed, most current information in the field, laptops, and your testRose Figueroa

Oh, boy… My opinion is going to be pretty biased—I get massages regularly and usually by the same therapist at a different place altogether. I saw there was a deal on Groupon for this place and thought I’d try it… in hindsight (as usually the case), I realized I should have just stuck w/ my usual 😐 This isn’t to say the student therapist, Michael, wasn’t good but he just wasn’t experienced as my usual therapist—given since this is a school. So, this is my bad. The rating is more based off of my experience w/ massage. If you’re new to getting massages, this is a bad place to get one. Though, if you’ve already been getting them and take massages as seriously as I do, don’t bother coming here because you’ll be disappointed 😔Crystal Watana

The people are very knowledgable and experienced at their craft. I was impressed and improved. There is an employee named Igor there who much improved my ability to walk without pain. He was able to give me the proper treatment that alleviated my hip and back pain so that I would feel good enough to do the things I love to do: Like take walks and drive to places. I had previously had 28 p.t. sessions at another place that did little to improve me. I wish they would open a clinic near Highland Park because the place is a little far for me. I graduated CBD’s DMS program in July of 2020. Majority of the DMS instructors and program faculty are top notch and super dedicated to the success of their students. I have no complaints about the DMS program itself. However, I am almost 3 years out from graduation and I reached out to the school regarding a transcript that I needed to apply to another school. I was informed after requesting my transcript that my account had a so called “outstanding monetary balance” which I was unaware of for almost 3 YEARS. Literally NO ONE from CBD has attempted to contact me via email or phone regarding this issue and when I spoke to the financial aid person, Lisa Reichstein, about this issue she informed me that if I didn’t make some sort of payment that I would immediately be sent to collection…. After no warning for almost 3 years… I have had a HORRIBLE experience with the financial aid department while trying to resolve this issue; Specifically with Lisa Reichstein, from inaccurate communication about what my monthly payments would be to her accidentally charging my bank account with monthly payments NOT ONCE BUT TWICE. Both of the accidental excessive charges were of payments greater than $250.00 which is a significant amount of money to be losing on accident as a result of someone’s incompetence. If you’re looking for a private, CAAHEP accredited school for DMS look no further. But beware that everyone in their administration is totally incapable, unprofessional & obviously unqualified to do their job correctly.ALANNA BETANCOURT

I attended and graduated for the PTA program from Oct 2019 – Nov 2022. I must say this was one of the most challenging experiences I have gone through especially being out of school for 15 year. Luckily the staff and instructors are more than happy to spend the extra time with you to make sure you are able to succeed in the program. At no fault of the school we entered the covid pandemic and had to switch to a hybrid program, however our instructors were able to still get us into the campus for hands on labs with strict guidelines to keep us safe, yet manage to make sure we received the hand on training required for the field. I feel that attending CBD College PTA program was one of the best decisions I have made in preparing me for a new career and making sure I was prepared to take on the NPTE Boards. I was able to take and pass the exam on my first attempt and start my career immediately (3 days after NPTE results) once I received my license from DCA. I used to always say I'll got back to school next year, and that turned into 3, then 5, and so on. My brother said to me time will pass regardless, might as well have it pass and have a degree already. That was my final push to make the move to attend CBD College.christopher fonseca

First and foremost, I would like to say that if you’re interested in pursuing a career in the medical field, CBD College would be a great place to enroll. The staff and teachers are a pleasure to work with. I began my journey at CBD in 2019 with the MRI program. The classes were taught so well by each teacher, that for the first time in a long time, I actually grasped the knowledge with full understanding. After graduating with my AA, I then enrolled into CBD again to obtain my BA in Health Science. At first, I was a bit nervous because I was sure the courses were not going to be easy but each professor took their time teaching us thoroughly and also made time for us if we ever needed help outside of classroom hours which was incredibly helpful for me.
