To the alumni that posted comments relative to smoking and ABET accreditation, I would like to share the following in my role as SET Dean: 1. We have become an almost no-tobacco usage campus. The many cigarette butts around our buildings prompted me to become one of the principal architects of the policy that has been in place for over a year. As with major shifts, culture change does take a little time! Having said that, I do not recall anybody complaining about the cigarette butts. 2. The Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Computer Engineering programs have been accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET since 1983, 1986, and 2009 respectively. This information is publicly posted on our site and ABET's. Now that we have graduates from the Mechanical Engineering program, we will be submitting that for initial review in January 2018. I im currently enrolled in the Master of laws program in St. Marys Law School. I will rate one star because for me as an international student its a shame that i can not choose my own courses. They have to be approved by a guy named Robert Summers which his arbitriarism is out of the world. When i came to San Antonio looking to extend my knowledge in the american law i never imagine that i could not do so because i had to follow the preference of someone else. My goal was to specialice in Immigration which was not possible because this proffesor wanted me to take courses that i wouldn't like (TO FIT THE BAR EXAM EVEN IF YOU DONT WANT TO TAKE IT AT ALL) Im very dissapointed with St Mary's School of Law. I attended St. Mary's for 3 years and left with a Bachelor's of a Arts & a teaching credential. I found it to be an excellent school, as have many friends. A number of my former public school students went on to a graduate from St. Mary's. I was impressed by its emphasis on being a Catholic institution. That was very important to me.H. Daniel Kelly

I went to this school in 2007 for an Associate's of Applied Science in Business Office Administration. I completed the program and obtained my degree. Five years later I am still without a job that pertains to my degree. Any employer I go to does not even bother to ask about the degree or seem to care that I have one. It's like having two high school diplomas when you only needed one in the first place. I used Hallmark's career placement services twice and they stopped trying to help me within one month of attempting to utilize their services and were not successful in job placement, which is supposed to be their own job! I have been working customer service jobs with no opportunity for advancement that pay just above minimum wage ever since thanks to Hallmark. I have been using the Texas Workforce to find me the right job with the right pay and am currently receiving unemployment. I am also in the process of trying to get my student loans forgiven, as they have only put me in debt instead of led me down the path towards a happy career. Do not attend this school, it is like high school all over again! Go to one of the Alamo Colleges instead, your money is better invested there! If I would've known I was paying 18k for a useless piece of paper that got me nowhere, I would've told these scammers to shove it a long time ago! Seriously, Alamo Colleges is the way to go! Hallmark College has give me the tools and necessary knowledge to go and get a job. I graduated back in 1999. As I continue gaining experience and qualifications throughout the years in my aviation career, I keep learning more and moving up the technician ladder. There is no limits in how much you can earn with an AAS in Aviation. I have worked overseas for the past 10 years making a comfortable living . I can pretty much select the company I want to work for or the Country that will be my next home. Seen my work success with just an Associate's degree I decided to finish my Bachelor's with Hallmark and I did! (06/15 ) I did not take any breaks after my graduation I just started my Masters with Embry Riddle Aeronautical University. Hallmark helped me to reach my goals. You must persevere and focus on what works for you. Do not let others discourage you because they were unsuccessful. You will get an opportunity within time, just make sure you posses the tools and necessary accreditation's (Degree) to do the job. Just be serious about your future and school, do your homework and study. Work on your resume and interview. This is my story and I hope to bring some light to all these hating comments. Hallmark University College of Aeronautics is a great place to gain knowledge in becoming a Aviation Maintenance Technician. I am currently in my 2nd term here and I could not be more pleased with the professionalism of the university. All of the instructors are incredibly helpful and have years of experience in aviation. The overall curriculum is very fast paced in order for us to get our degree and A&P license quicker, so you must be very dedicated and focused on keeping up in class or you could be quickly left behind. The school has different companies in the aviation field come regularly to recruit students to come work for their company all over the country which gives us many great options once we graduate. Overall, I would recommend this school over any other to anyone who wants to build a career in Aviation Maintenance. I personally moved here to San Antonio from Salt Lake City, UT just to get my education at Hallmark because of the widely known prestige of the school. Gaining your Associates Degree and your A&P license from Hallmark will definitely set you up for a very successful future!William Skelton

At the recommendation of a local psychologist, I took a family member to see Dr. Russel Thompson for a neuropsychological evaluation prior to a Social Security final appeal hearing. We met with Dr. Thompson for a clinical interview, came back for testing, and returned one final time to receive the assessment results. During all three appointments I found Dr. Thompson to be personable and highly skilled. Does he gush with warm fuzzies if that’s what you’re looking for? No, but he is friendly, open, honest, genuine, has a sense of humor, and can connect with clients and that’s what was important to me. My family member felt very comfortable with Dr. Thompson and liked him a lot. Additionally, because Dr. Thompson was able to establish a quick and easy rapport with him when it came time to deliver the assessment results my family member was able to hear and receive information that he previously could not process. That alone was worth the cost of the assessment! I am extremely grateful for the direct, yet tactful approach Dr. Thompson used to deliver such difficult information. In addition to his clinical competency, I was impressed by the final report that Dr. Thompson compiled, which was submitted to the judge who was hearing my family member’s case. Despite presenting years of school district testing and disability data, medical reports, as well as IQ and functional ability testing performed by two other licensed psychologists, my family member’s disability application had previously been rejected several times. I found Dr. Thompson’s report to be thorough and clear, reflecting a keen ability to translate complex psychological concepts into understandable language for a lay person (and judge) and to “connect the dots” between the testing data/results and functional capacities (both strengths and weaknesses). The judge who heard the disability case carefully considered all documentation provided and found Dr. Thompson’s report to be clear and compelling and ultimately permanent disability was granted after nearly a two-and-a-half-year process of of filing and appealing disability denials. In sum, Dr. Thompson treated my loved one with honesty, respect, and tact and I found him to a very competent neuropsychologist who adeptly translated raw data into practical, useable information for both professionals and family members. I would not hesitate to hire Dr. Thompson again if I had a need for his services and I recommend him highly and without reservation.Brenda Guerrero

We were compliant and furnished all requested information. However, less than five minutes after our intake interview with Dr Olivia Kraus, she telephoned me to state that “she did not feel comfortable” working with us to provide my son with a psychological evaluation. Never mind that this was a referral from BAMC that had taken over six weeks to arrange and fulfill all requirements. She just abandoned us as patients. She declined to provide mental health treatment in the form of a simple 4 hour evaluation to a patient who was a military dependent with a history of failure to thrive as a consequence of his father’s deployment to Iraq. She may have felt “uncomfortable” in conversing with me because of my PTSD, but one would think that as a mental health professional, she would be competent enough to interact successfully with individuals who have mental health diagnoses. I served as a combat medic in Iraq. When I had occasion to treat wounded casualties under hostile fire, the thought of refusing treatment because of not feeling “comfortable” with the personality or nature of injury of my patients never entered my head. When there were sick or injured people to take care of, I took care of them. Those are the ethics of military medicine as practiced by the US Army. It is a great pity that Dr Olivia Kraus and Mission Psychology do not share that ethic. It is my firm resolve to inform the leadership of the BAMC, especially the Hospital Command Sergeant Major, of the way that Mission Psychology abandoned a combat veteran and his family in their hour of need, and to recommend that no further military referrals be made to this medical practice that evidently does not wish to practice medicine. We would have accepted a different provider, if Dr Kraus did not care to provide medical treatment in the form of an evaluation, but Dr Kraus stated that no provider associated with Mission Psychology would be prepared to deal with us. Therefore, it is not just Dr Kraus who will not honor a referral from BAMC, but the entire practice that refuses to support our troops. If you have any other option to select for a psychological treatment, including evaluation, I implore you to take that option.Douglas Johnson

I was a patient of Dr Carla's. I thought she was great and cared. I hadn't seen her in a couple of years. I felt like I was in crisis. I called. Incredibly they had an appointment with Dr Carla the next day. I booked it and couldn't believe my luck. An hour later they called back and said Dr Carla could not see me. I was in crisis and instead of being honest they gave me false hope. This is a prime example of why you cannot pay someone to genuinely care about your problems. Psychology is just a transactional substitute for a real support system. No heart. Thank you for absolutely nothing.Dallas Sanchez

Dr. Bira is hands down, AWESOME! I started out a little while ago, as I am completely new to therapy as an adult. I am so proud to say that I am 4 sessions in, and have no regrets. Each session is so fulfilling, and I know that even after I complete my therapy plan (which is almost over), I will return as often as I can for a check in session. Dr. Bira has been such a blessing to my life. Dealing with generalized anxiety, health anxiety, and it’s many forms of tormenting sensations, I know first hand that it is not easy for anyone. To an extent, it almost seems debilitating and you find yourself at some of the weakest points you’ve ever experienced in life, constantly worried, and wondering if you’ll ever get well or back to normal. I started out thinking the worst, but Dr. Bira has truly made every bit of this journey worthwhile. She is so skilled and passionate about helping her clients. Our therapy sessions are non biased, hands on, informative and fun! Yes, I said FUN. We laugh often and spend time ironing out the kinks (issues) while doing so. She is very specific, and I truly feel she cares about me and my well being. I know she feels this way about all of her clients which makes her such an awesomely unique therapist. Since attending therapy, I have made SOO much progress. Doing things I haven’t done in such a long time, smiling more, loving myself and others more, and purely finding the joy I thought I had lost in life. The sensations are becoming just a mere part of my day, less noticeable as time goes on, and overall I am feeling more and more like a better version of myself pre-anxiety. The office is quiet, professionally modern, comfy, and chic. Her pet is adorable and more than comforting. Overall, I rate Dr. Bira 10+ STARS! She has helped me tremendously thus far. I had a friend who suggest Dr. Bira’s meditation group, which was okay, but I decided I want more specific therapy. The process to get started was straightforward and the first few sessions went well. I noticed that Dr. Bira had a bad habit of checking her cellphone throughout sessions. Normally I’d overlook it but one time I was just having a bad day and simply said I thought it was rude how she kept looking at her phone in the middle of a session. Rather than being remotely apologetic, she seemed offended at me pointing out the issue; she rolled her eyes and let out a sigh of disdain. After this in my last few sessions I felt an attitude coming from her; she seemed to be disinterested and cold. I decided at that point to not return and found a therapist that worked much better for me by remaining professional and not distracted during our sessions.C Miller

Highly recommend! Dr. Bira is an awesome psychologist & natural speaker – I was part of a professional group where she was a guest speaker and involved in other activities. Her science-based style & tips on how to make changes to live better was extremely interesting and impactful for everyone. Witnessing the way dr. Bira talked to the group I really felt she was in her element, when she spoke I could see it came from a good place delivered with expertise and a lot of passion. If I could give this school a -5 I would. I made the worst decision transferring to this school. To put it simply there is SO MUCH inconsistency and ignorance within the advising and financial aid departments. I had to go to the financial department so many times and no one could tell me what to fix exactly. In fact, they took copies of my federal documents and apparently lost them leaving me to resend these in email. Big problem, especially considering that’s my SS number on those documents. Finally I got in touch with Delia who also wasn’t very helpful but eventually we sorted everything out. My advisor Allison failed to give me all the needed information pushing my graduation back. On top of that advising was not aware of class changes in my major. Finally if you are a working student do not go here. Classes are very limited and not flexible. It was hard to find evening classes let alone online classes (COVID did help with that because now online classes are offered). I’ve also registered for classes and built my work schedule around those only for a Professor to decide not to meet. This school is unorganized and does not care about their students. I tried reaching multiple deans and did not get ahold of anyone. I am so pleased that I’m finally graduating from this terrible school. By the way this is coming from a student with a 3.9 GPA who has never fallen behind in payments for class.Miranda G

If you’re on the fence between this campus and another CHOOSE THE OTHER. I’ve met a few great people but most of the staff are rude, the parking expenses are outrageous considering the distance you still have to walk without a shuttle provided. There’s hardly a cafe and the prices are RIDICULOUS. The admissions, financial aid, welcome center and advising center are NEVER opened when they say they will be and when you leave voicemails they never leave call back. It’s my senior year and I can’t register for the spring semester due to a “6 drops remaining hold” … definitely something they need to take care of from their end but I’m a sitting duck and risking losing my desired schedule due to their unprofessionalism.. Overall, I’d give this campus a 2/10. Very ghetto, would not recommend. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO ELSEWHERE.Brandi Lynn

I have been at this University for 2 semesters and I have had a great experience thus far. Every Professor I have had had been very attentive to any question or concern I have had that particular course. Some of the artwork that can be found throughout the University is outstanding. From oil on canvas, embroidery work, and statues are first class. If you happen to visit the campus, do yourself a favor and visit every building just to get a glance at the artwork. The campus continues to grow at a rapid rate but they have been able to manage their growth very well. At the current time, it feels like you're in the outskirts of town, but I'm sure and the next 10 to 20 years it will be surrounded by commerce.Karma Candle Makers

We took our youngest daughter to Dr. J. Our daughter struggled with her golf game, as she found herself competing for a position on a team of great golfers. We saw results right away. After meeting with Dr. J she cut 10 strokes off her handicap, we immediately scheduled another session and 10 more strokes fell off. She was able to get to. 10 handicap by her sophomore year and the team would go on to win the schools first ever state championship. I am certain this was possible by Dr. J and Emily’s commitment and the work Dr J put into us as parents. We are very thankful we found the TCSP and Dr. J. Dr. Julie Wiernik, or "Dr. J" as we like to call her, is a very kind, generous and loving person who also loves what she does…and it shows! She is helping so many people on so many levels and never advertises that part of herself. She does so much outreach to local schools, colleges, clubs and organizations, she sponsors Olympic hopefuls goes out of her way to make sure her message goes out to the people who need to hear it. Small campus, but incredible experience here. I have been to SAC, Northwest Vista, Northeast Lakeview, and this campus. As far as campuses, this one comes in last for me. Possibly better than SAC just because it's in open space. Vending machines were normally empty here, but everything was always clean and easy enough to find. Great professors are here, and a great learning experience. I would recommend this campus to others. I enjoyed my time here, and definitely miss some of the times.Andrew Aramouni

Palo alto college, Nothing special. Campus was vacant, had to do a curbside pick up for daughters textbook. This review was written during covid, so they told us to mask up and wait in the car and they'd bring it out to us. Going to college is such a scam. It's a decent community college for the most part everyone is polite and nice, however the only complaint I have is there are not enough math tutors in the lab. I waited 3 hours so I could get help for four problems I didnt understand. That is ridiclious…. they need more tutors so people aren't waiting for long periods at a time. Overall did not enjoy my time at Northwest Vista College, or interacting with Alamo Colleges in general. I don't recommend taking classes here if you work full time or part time, and want to take online classes. Their website in incorrect or missing information in multiple places (e.g. the Residency Info page has instructions to find if you're in-district or not, but they are not updated). I was charged out-of-district tuition even though I live 4 minutes from campus. I called the Business Office 2-4 times and was placed on 8+ minute holds and no one ever picked up. The professor failed to allow students to take the final exam due to a technical error, and takes 2 days to respond to emails.Crystal Huang

It has been an amazing experience taking classes at NVC. Most of my teachers are awesome… nothing is perfect in life, but we have to learn to handle situation and focus on your studies… I have learned discipline and I have found the way to do and study my classes. During the period Sept 1974 to July 1976, I worked after school in the Dept of Anatomy under Dr. Ivan L. Cameron, Ph.D. I need to explain that I was a gifted young man (IQ ~ 180+). Attending Winston Churchill high school, I was taking all the math, biology, chemistry, physics, English, & Latin the as the was offered. I was elected president of the Future Scientists of America in my sophomore year and the sponsor got me voluntary positions first at the Bexar County Hospital Emergency Room on Friday and Saturday nights on the 11pm to 7am shift. I learned everything about trauma and its treatment, I learned how to use sterile technique, how to suture, learned material Medica, I could place an angiocath, etc. I accumulated over 3000 hours as a volunteer. This led to me to a position at the Dept of Anatomy, you see Dr. C had a grad student (John William Carter), who needed assistance in the analysis of a tremendous set of visual data. He was researching the sublethal effects of polychloro-biphenols on hepatic cells in mice, specifically how the organelles in the hepatic cells changed. He had arranged the experimental groups as The Control Group, second group had 25 mcg once a day, 50 mcg once a day, and finally 100 mcg once per day for 30 day for 30 days. I began attending OLLU when I was still active duty in the Navy. I became interested in this school because I was looking for a Psychology program that had a basis in Social Work. What sold me on the choice was the class size. See before I joined the Navy and really my reason for doing so was because I didn't think that I nor my parents could afford to send me to college after high school. So without having the college experience, even at the community college level, I wanted a smaller and more focused approach at a school that had a great reputation and track record. Once enrolled I loved the quiet on campus environment and the facilities were modern enough for the resources provided. I truly enjoyed the gym. Because of the small campus and student body the gym was never crowded but had all the latest equipment so working out there was a dream. My professors were very understanding and provided options if at any time my schedule became a little complicated. I love this school and if I had more time in San Antonio I'd be able to finish my last few credits. Go SAINTS!!!!!Atlee Urquhart

I just finished my first semester at OLLU. The campus is amazing! The classes are small enough to where the professor can get to know each individual student and not see them as a number or paycheck. You always see the same people, so it isn't like meeting someone new everyday. By the end of one week, you remember people's faces even if you don't become friends or acquaintances. The professors I've had so far were awesome! The Survey for Mexican-American Literature, was my favorite professor. She is very passionate about culture and her job. The only dislike I would have about the school is the tuition, but then again most of the professors all care about the quality of education each student receives. There is also a higher chance at making new friends because of the small student population. Study groups aren't as awkward. Other than tuition, I don't have any problems with the school. Won't allow fans to attend the Baseball games (which draw literally 10s of people) in the open air because "safety is our main concern" according to the spokesperson I spoke with.. Attempting to keep people safe from a virus with a 99.9% survival rate at the cost of the student athletes and families not getting every possible opportunity to share this experience that MANY have overpaid for shows a lack of common sense or intelligent leadership. I hope the 40% of students that actually do graduate from this institution are better prepared to navigate this world than the people that are responsible for their education.David Williams

I'm not sure what's going on with ophthalmology department. I went for my eye exam, paid my co pay. Got exam for glasses and contacts. About a week later received a bill for $75 for contact fittings. I had a follow up visit, which I should not been charged a co pay but I had to pay $35 for follow up. I tried to dispute it and I kept being told the insurance had changed. Even the Doctor agreed with me that i should have not been charged for either, it was covered by SuperiorVision. Verified with insurance and it had not changed. They finally admitted that I should have not paid for follow up. Requested that my $35 be refunded to directly. According to them they could not refund because I had a $75 balance. I made a claim with the insurance and received the money back. In the notes for the check it read: (PR-45) & (Co-45)"Charge exceeds fee schedule/maximum allowable or contracted/legislated fee arrangement". UT Health ophthalmology is over charging patient, many of whom are elderly. Taking advantage of people. They need to retrain or train correctly the person's working the in their department. They are overcharging , regardless what the insurance companies rules are. I do not recommend department to anyone or give this department any stars, I had to enter at least one star because it didn't let me post without. This department needs to be looked over and make sure it is following insurance policies and not overcharging customers.Pat Guevara

Very disappointing experience with the UT Health Cardiology Department. Dr. Traktenbroit suggested I have a cardiology stress test and an at home ECG test, called a ZIO test. I spoke with at least six different departments within UT Health & University Health And was unable to get test codes So I could get a cost estimate for the tests through my insurance company, prior to actually having the test performed. I called my insurance company and asked if they could contact the physician and different testing departments. They were also unable to get any type of cost estimate. With anything else in life you know what the cost will be before you pay for it, but in the medical profession you’re supposed to trust them and not know how much your out of pocket cost is going to be until you get a bill in the mail. Ludicrous! Also, there are 3 different types of stress tests. The most expensive one being the one that includes injecting nuclear medicine through an IV. Oh course, this is the test the Dr. ordered. Chest pains or shortness of breath are usually the reason for a stress test. I did not report having either. From what I’ve researched a CT scan of your heart is better at finding blockages than a stress test. I had one performed a few years ago and the cost was much less than having a nuclear stress test done.C W

This review is for the billing department. I do my best to pay my bills in full and when I can’t, I call to make payment arrangements. I don’t know about everyone else, but I have insurance with a high deductible and out of pocket maximum. This billing department boggles the mind. I received a letter from a collections office that I had a bill that I had not made a payment for. The service was in February of this year for a total amount $600. I keep all correspondence from bills that I paid or am paying and not once did I receive a letter stating that I owed this amount. What kind of billing department doesn’t send out bills? This is not the first time they have pulled this shenanigan. I got them to admit in the previous billing conflict that they hadn’t sent out a bill. This is a shady practice of not sending a bill but sending my or our information to a collections agency. I take my credit score very seriously. I don’t want it tainted because of a neglectful department/employee. This department needs a quality audit. I am sure they would find many issues that need to be addressed but haven’t been.Rachele Cuellar

Overall still a great University but I am concerned on their current admission process, qualifications and outreach. The university may be hurting for funds and appears to enroll less than desirable human beings that tarnishes the creed and honor of UIW alumni and successful, hardworking and productive students who have high values and morals. I won't go into great detail due to the graphic disdain and harm to especially those of female identity gender but the safety of all great and innocent students is in question and the output of future students may eventually lead UIW to be a less than desirable educational institution to be associated with…I hope whoever is now in charge is replaced with a leader who knows the difference between their own personal selfish agenda and instead fulfilled by an example of one who Understands integrity and creates those who value society as a whole for the better and harnesses their Strengths and Talents for good and growth of all.asiamoonstar

Love my college! I feel like it is truly a home! Doesn't hurt anything that I am fortunate enough to be a sophomore going to school with my brother and father who are both seniors this year! This college truly cares about you and you life to become a successful graduate! The faculty will always be around to help you achieve a solid GPA! And the grounds are so beautiful with downtown San Antonio being a 5 minute drive away you are at the hub of beautiful city! I am a student going for a master's degree in accounting and am so fortunate as to find many mentors here! I would absolutely recommend this college to be your first choice at better a better education! ****** Bad experience…… suspicious person in parking lot and campus police will not take a report. The guy was trying to take my truck tonneau cover. Parking lot close the Goreman Bldg. (Parking area near Hildebrand) . Every One that works for the university extremely nice/helpful. I had a wonderful experience with all staff. It takes a loooooooong time for UTSA to get to top tier universities despite the fact they had this mission for over 7 years now. The focus of the university is on first generation students and undergraduates. Over 30,000 students enrolled in the last year but only roughly 750 students were at Doctoral level. Based on my personal experience and my colleagues experiences, despite some decent rankings that university tries to refer as the sign of the progress, many departments are not up to the National or International standards.Marzieh Jafary

Excellent University to get your bachelors degree! I graduated from there with two Business degrees (1998) and higher education will change your life! The professors there are exceptional and taught me so many things, and a variety of knowledge I am using (even after years and years! ) today on a daily basis. They were not able to process my application in time because they were being incredibly slow with processing my transcripts. They then proceeded to edit dates that I reached out to them (2 months later than reality) to make their timelines look better. School tells lies. I moved there once specifically for a program directly on their website called Criminal Justice Forensics. It was a two year program. I was interested in Forensics at the time and wanting to transfer to a university and study Forensic Science. When I finished all the regular CJ classes and got ready to take the "Forensics" classes, I noticed that none of them were on the class schedule, so I did a little research and noticed that the classes never showed on any of the archived class schedules as well. I got that far in the program to not have an Forensics classes at all, even the "internship" they wanted you to do was at MADD. Laughable. What does drunk driving have to do with Forensic Science? Then the women at the MADD office were too gossipy, and they had absolutely nothing for us to do. It totally wasn't worth my time. This is what makes community colleges so bad. I went to advising, and the woman started giggling knowing I had been duped and made up some lies about some kind hearted people starting the program then stopped it due to low enrollment but forgot to take it off the website curriculum, yada yada yah. It's now off the website, but I wasted precious time and money. This would never have happened at a university without them notifying students. Also, SAC was on the verge of losing accreditation as well then and lied and stated your credits would still transfer. Not an honest experience. They do have a nice swimming pool though.Pllm30

IT IS A CURSE. if i could give SAC -5 stars i would. they are absolutely no help. they don’t call, text or email when you request assistance & will run you in loops just for someone to tell you they cannot help you. San Antonio College has some of the absolute worst staff I have ever encountered in my entire life. the entire process each semester is so incredibly daunting and they leave you to figure it out on your own – 0 assistance from them. but somehow they will remind you to no avail when it is time to pay! save yourself the mental anguish, it’s worth paying more to attend a better college like UTSA in the long run.Corrin Aviv

4 years had to deal with staff failing the class because it was are fault. How is it are fault when you don't want to teach or willing to put effort. How is it are fault when systems and programs shut down due to errors and not having an alternative solution. When a teacher looks at you and out loud for anyone in the class to hear "why are you still here? There is no point of you staying get out" at that point what's the point of coming back again when they care is their pokects not the education they are supposed to provide. My husband has been taking classes for the Electrical Certification program. He ended up only getting two classes this last semester because we couldn't get a response from the advisor at that campus to assist us. We had to go to the main campus to get any help. This time he was already enrolled so he was available to sign up for a meeting with the advisor. They spoke and found the classes he needed. We then find out they lost an assessment he took already. So he had to email another guy to get it removed this new guy didn't respond to any questions just removed the hold was told we had 10 days to register then the hold would go back. The advisor said once this was done he would sign him up for those classes. After two unanswered emails requesting he do what he made sound simple enough to get the classes setup, we finally heard back on Thursday that he would try to get it to Friday or Monday. Still nothing and now will probably lose out again on getting classes we need… more $$ for them I am sure. Problem is more time my husband is out of work and the program we joined to help pay for this will be long over. Long story short the SW Campus advisor Mr Solis is terrible with communication and follow through. This whole process has been unbelievably stressful for what is already so hard to get through… almost like they don't care if you go there or not. I gave them two stars because so far the teachers and classes have been great. Too bad the rest is so difficult and unwelcoming.Amanda Munoz

The school is great but for god’s sake please remove the 4 hour a week requirement for math world. Some of us live like an hour away from the school with a full time job to deal with and don’t have time at all, that’s why I’m only taking two classes, two days a week. The fact that the school added this 4 hour requirement which is basically a whole other class, just goes to show how little they care about their student’s circumstances. This was not a requirement last semester and it shouldn’t have been this semester. And this is definitely not elementary school for this non sense, we’re adults who have very busy lives and important things to do outside of school. Thanks to whoever decided to add this extra block of stress on me that could’ve not been necessary. 😡😡😡Ariel Guerrero

Trying to apply and obtain information to get into a program has been such a hassle. I can’t even begin to describe the lack of communication and utter miscommunication I’ve been experiencing with this school. Program directors and their assistants do not answer their phones. You can’t find direct numbers to advising, etc without doing a thorough search and when you do find one they don’t answer. I’ve had to make so many calls and unlock so many accounts. Just terrible. I’m coming from out of state and definitely would not recommend this school for anyone else doing the same.A J

This woman has absolutely no bed side manner. I am a patient of Dr. Alberto C. Serrano and apparently was unaware of an unpaid balance. I had not visited Dr. Alberto in over 2 months on account of a job transfer and returned to his practice and care after I completed insurance enrollment with my new employer. She expected me to pay $340 + $130 for my visit today with no remorse. When I asked her why I had not been contacted in the last 60 days of any past dues, nor why I had not been informed of the balance when I scheduled my visit she had no answer. I do not like having unpaid balances over my head. Nor do I like being treated as if I was at fault for this. Had they informed me in advance I could have had ample time to make payment arrangements. Thankfully I am so happy with the counseling I get from Dr. Alberto C. Serrano that I was able to over look her nasty face and attitude and find my zen. Surely, I wouldn't keep my mouth shut, and not share with you people of the world wide web what a witch this woman is. Ugh, sad that Dr. Alberto shares an office here, I unfortunately will have to see this woman again since she has nothing better to do with her psychology career than play accounting. and front desk reception. Disgusting woman! Snobby and badly aged. If you have a different experience with her, 10 to 1 it's because you're her client and basically she's smiling with your money all the way to the bank. Dr Cristina Serrano is amazing!! She is very thoughtful, kind and truly cares about her patients. It is very easy in getting in touch with her. If my son is going through anything I would send her a text and her response would be very fast. It's a state of art facility. When you enter the lobby last thing come to your mind it's to be in a hospital. It's like opened yesterday. Clean and spotless. Has a great cafeteria if you want a coffee or a quick bite. Went there for the Covid vaccine, the process is so smooth and fast. Really friendly people working there and they care about you. I used the UT San Antonio before, school of dentistry, same thing, great care for you. I'm really proud to have UT here in my city.J Andrade

Of all the campuses in the city Trinity is the one I know the least about but it has actually left a very lasting impression on me. When I first moved to the city a lot of the young men I was hanging out with at the time were playing for or trying to play for the Trinity Football squad, who as I understood it was a great team. Now I rarely run into any Trinity students but that's not to say that they aren't out there. But I guess my whole point is this…These students that I met were really great individuals who were grounded in their belief that the school they were going to, truly offered them the greatest chance at a promising future. When that sentiment is echoed across so many people it speaks volumes to the level of educational excellence being accomplished at Trinity University.Atlee Urquhart

We are celebrating our daughter's graduation this weekend and started with a beautiful Vespers service followed by the President's Reception for the graduates. I had not attended Vespers before, and this service incorporated many of the various beliefs held by students such as Islam, Judaism, and Christianity. Students played and sang beautifully and the Chaplain spoke inspiring words. The ceremony had delicious heavy hors d'oeuvres including chicken, empanadas, and desserts.Karen Pynes

Genuinely love this place. The staff are all the nicest people you will ever meet. The faculty is incredible. Very quirky but very intelligent and always willing to help the students. The campus is beautiful and unlike any other college campus. Plus it's minutes from downtown San Antonio so there is plenty of opportunity to immerse yourself into the San Antonio community. 10/10 would recommend.Samantha Skory
