This was our daughters first year at college and furst time living far away from home, and all the advisors and mentors made a smooth transition. If there was anything that I don't like is dealing with student services, they talk to you as if you are suppose to already understand their process. Amazing 2 years here. The school has all the resources you need for success, you just need to apply yourself and not slack off. It's a close-knit school. I met my entire friend group here and we all remained friends through Hazleton times, State College, and even now. My friends from Hazleton came to my wedding and I still talk to them and see them. This is actually a really beautiful Penn State branch campus, and the staff here are lovely. I had the good fortune to visit here with an academic adviser to promote the RPTM major and Shaver's Creek Environmental Center. Don't get me wrong: several of the professors at BBC demonstrate great expertise, and many students and staff members are kind, welcoming, open-minded, and fun! Unfortunately, the inaction of campus leaders with regard to ongoing social and spiritual ailments has lead to a decay in the quality of the "BBC experience." Doctrinal militancy, closed-mindedness, and gossip (from a loud and persuasive minority) permeate the campus–and, to some extent, the online experience as well. These issues are rarely addressed by leadership. In many cases, the existence of these problems is overlooked, denied, or even rationalized. In this way, the active wrongs of a few are passively accepted by the many, and the entire campus suffers as a result. Very few objective standards exist to which students can appeal as safeguards against injustice and the personal agendas of individual campus leaders. Genuine dialogue is very difficult to foster. Fear and self-preservation serve as regular administrative motivators. In conclusion, both pride and politics mix with positive-sounding Christian rhetoric to produce a very confusing and often potent atmosphere. However, if you are a conservative, submissive and good-natured evangelical who shies away from questioning authority, it is possible that you will be immune to many of these ailments and will enjoy your experience thoroughly. Regardless, I wish BBC the best as it attempts to adapt to rapidly changing times. I will always be thankful for the friends and opportunities that my BBC experience afforded me. Clarks Summit University is an amazing place to try your hand in athletics, leadership, music, and most important, growing in your faith! Clarks Summit University has/is prepping me for a life of ministry, and I am beyond thankful to the profs that literally call me during the Summer to check in, and pray for me daily. I am in my senior year here at CSU, and I would absolutely recommended this school to anyone trying to find their place in this world. Please engage with our admissions counselors, and visit this campus to understand the values this campus stands for. Christ is at the Center of Everything we do is the school's motto, and while this school does have shortcomings, good luck finding one school, or even one person that doesn't. The academic atmosphere is great in class, but the students and profs are very approachable for the most part. Questions are encouraged, office hours are numerous, and God IS present. This school helped me through addiction, spiritual drought, and even uncertainty in the professional world. Now I am fighting my demons, involved in ministry (that CSU helped set up, including a youth pastor internship in Michigan!) and I have a clear goal to lead children/teens in ministry. God bless! I would not have my undergraduate degree of it were not for this school. I came in as a mess. I was not academically disciplined, I suffered from depression, I had a lot going on in my home life. This school took me in when my old school Clearwater Christian College shut down and not only accepted all of my credits, they embraced me as family. Some of the best friends I will ever have were met here. Some of the wisest men I have ever met were met here. Even when I did fail academically or I misbehaved, the school was giving me wise counsel and cheering me to push forward. I am in an excellent graduate school because of this institution. I am beyond thankful to have attended CSU. Did I disagree with some of the teachings? Yes. Did I disagree with some of the ways they did things? Yes. But I learned how to engage with people I disagree with rather than be in a bubble, and that helped me think critically. I am more qualified to become a minister of the gospel because of this place. I had an excellent undergraduate educational experience at Immaculata University and I would highly recommend it. In the professional world, I have run into alumni from Immaculata and I'm finding it no coincidence that these individuals are talented, intellectual, and ethical (perhaps the biggest differentiator). Immaculata University offers a personalized education with a professional staff that is close to their students. It was very clear to me that the staff genuinely care about the current and future success of the student body. This beautiful private campus is set in the picturesque countryside of Malvern, Pennsylvania along King Road. Once an all girl school, Immaculata will forever hold bragging rights to the first ever women's collegiate basketball champions, The Might Macs! They accepted their first male students as a co-ed university in 2005. In 2014 they added fully furnished apartment style dorms that boast 5 bedrooms and a full kitchen.Sheil Caldwell

Spending almost 4 years at Immaculata University has been a great experience. This college sits by itself on King Road which makes it nice for no distractions. Immaculata is fortunately right near Exton and King of Prussia Mall, so it is easy to get away when needed. As a parent of a visiting soccer team who lost 2-1 to Bryn Athyn, other than my teams L, it couldn't have been a nicer visit. It's a beautiful campus, in an equally beautiful neighborhood. The field was excellent. I would recommend seeing a game here to anyone who was thinking about it. The stands are small, so I would recommend bringing your own chairs and set them up on the hill right next to the field and convenient parking lot.Jason Walp

The Raystown field station is an amazing opportunity for environmental science students. Students have the opportunity to do research with professors. Just spent the week there for a middle school camp. The buildings were nice and clean, the dorms were a little dated but the rest of the buildings were very modern and taken care of. Such a shame, I missed out on a great education because of that. Avoid the Korean microeconomics professor, his tests are barely understandable because of the broken English. This is a beautiful campus, that provides a good learning environment. Students have access to lots of resources to help them succeed. There are fewer distractions at this campus than Main campus, making it an ideal place to acclimate to the college lifestyle. Misericordia University is not only strikingly beautiful but offers an exceptional education for every student. The faculty and staff at Misericordia are very encouraging and motivate every student to meet their dreams academically and socially. I have attended Misericordia for 4 years and am working toward my Doctorate in Physical Therapy. The Physical Therapy program is a 6.5 year guaranteed program, the first 3.5 years earning a bachelor’s degree and the next 3 years at the graduate level for physical therapy. This program has been accredited for a number of years and has a very high passing rate on the board exam. Throughout my 4 years at Misericordia, I have nothing but positive remarks. Misericordia has taught me how to be both successful and independent. I lived on campus for all 4 years at Misericordia, 2 years working as a Resident Assistant and two years with fellow students. Although it was fun to live with some of my friends, living by myself as an RA was definitely a huge perk. From being an RA, I was able to witness students who got involved in the Misericordia community and students who chose to mind to themselves. With that experience I can only give advice that getting involved and putting yourself out there is vital, not only at Misericordia but throughout life. You can’t just let life walk by you, you need to put on your shoes and run towards your dreams (and if something is for free, you really have nothing to lose). Misericordia offers a huge variety of ways to get involved from campus ministry, athletics, theater, and various clubs, there is most definitely something that peaks everyone’s interest. I have met so many amazing people and have made friendships that will last a lifetime from Misericordia. Through getting involved as an RA, and being involved in clubs such as business professional association, health care management association, and H.O.P.E (Healthy Options Peer Educators), I have been able to learn new information, make friends, and have fun. There is a wonderful program at Misericordia called the Guaranteed Placement Program (GPP) where every year of their education students learn viable and helpful tips such as how to properly handle a job interview or how to build your resume. At the end of the student’s time at Misericordia, the GPP program guarantees that you will graduate with a payed internship or job 6 months after graduation. Therefore, there is no fear that you will earn a degree and not have a job after loaning so much money. I am proud to be a student at Misericordia University. As a student from out of state (born and raised in Arizona), attending Misericordia University has been a very unique experience for me. The location has been comfortable, coming from a small town, so the location has not been overwhelmingly populated while still being close enough to other cities and shopping locations. MU also assisted in my decision to switch majors, and have been a Mass Communications student with a Philosophy minor since my sophomore year. Students with interests in the arts and and humanities, like myself, often feel as if they are not taken as seriously as other majors, such as health sciences. However, I feel that MU’s liberal arts approach embraces all student interests, including encouraging creativity while also helping students get to know the “real world” and how to approach the world from a realistic and economic perspective. Getting involved at MU has also been fairly easy and a welcome experience for me. The Mass Communications department is tight-knit but is welcoming of all students, and has job, classes, or club opportunities for students in and outside of the major. The arts are also embraced by the campus radio station (Cougar Radio), the Highlander newspaper, etc. I’ve participated in multiple groups and events on campus, and have found student employment on campus, along with researching, preparing for, and currently executing internships during my college career. I’m a firm believer that college is what you make it, and MU has helped me embrace all these passions that I’ve always had and has helped me move forward with the things that matter most to me.Destiny

Misericordia University has been my home away from home. I never second guess my choice of coming to school here. The occupational therapy program is one like no other. I take pride in my hard work and the teachers in my program and other faculty on staff are friendly, generous, and want to see every student succeed! Misericordia takes pride in its service and hospitality and these qualities can be found in each student here. I love this place and I cannot believe I will one day have to say goodbye to the memories and family I have created here.Quinn Fohlinger

While this school is great, and I love being here… there are many issues with this place that aren't talked about. One, parking is hell. They sell way more parking passes then there are places to park. And since students are required to live on campus this is a major problem that affects the entire student body, faculty and staff. In the next few years this problem is about to get a lot worse, due to the merge with Northeast coming up. Two, while the food is often great, especially at the Grotto, most of the options are fried or greasy. It is hard to know what exactly is in the food, and athletes often complain that the options are too limited. If you have diet restrictions or allergies there is only one option for you, the Clean Plate with ZERO variety. Three, the health care here is horrid. Yes, the health center and counseling center are free for students BUT when you go there, the help is very limited. They provide you with supplements and nasal spray. That's it. And then, theres counseling center. They are great at handling homesickness, minor depression, and generalized anxiety. But they advertise that they also address PTSD, major depression, eating disorders and such. However, when you come to the person who is supposed to counsel you on Title IX matters, they tell you it's your fault. Also, the campus is extremely inaccessible for physically disabled individuals. The elevators are broken or breaking and there are barely any ramps. They only address two out of the thirteen categories of disability, that being autism and developmentally delayed. In addition to that, when you have a learning disability and are having trouble in classes they suggest you get a tutor and do not enforce adaptive curriculum. There is an ADA violation occurring right now that is not being addressed. Special needs professors have been lobbying for change for a decade and nothing has changed. When you have 504, they provide you with regular resources that the campus already offers, there are no individualized resources for those who require that sort of thing. The campus in general is very ableistic. They do enough to get the label of a special needs inclusive college without actually doing the work. Four, it advertises that it is extremely diverse. The Student union has all these flags representing all the countries international students are from, but you rarely see them around campus. These individuals are the hardest impacted by the insurance issues we have here, as they are often here on a scholarship and on an athletic team and do not have the funds for full coverage. Mercyhurst is below average in ethnic diversity nation wide. Racial diversity is also below average but real kicker here is 93% of professors are white. Five, Mercyhurst is advertised as a liberal arts college but the art departments are extremely neglected. The art department is literally one hallway with two classrooms and one office for professors. The art therapy department has one classroom and one office. The dance department has two studios and no trainer. And then, there's the music department. You cannot join the music department if you are physically handicapped because there is no way for you to get downstairs. And every time there is a performance, you have to carry everything up three flights of stairs to the PAC. Over all, while Mercyhurst is an amazing school that I am proud to attend, it has several major problems that NEED to be addressed. It's amazing at projecting a great image and at doing everything to have good reputation. We have two events every weekend, and public speakers and performers from around the world. The campus is beautiful when you go through the front gates. The curriculum is great for neurotypical students, and discrimination of LGBTQ individuals is almost nonexistent. Money management is also horrible, they spend everything on comforts and for their image rather than necessities.Katelyn Baughman

Whether you need a shoulder to lean on or someone to provide a bit of guidance, you can find it all on this campus. There are so many staff members on campus who go out of their way to help ensure students have a memorable experience, too many to mention individually. I am however extremely thankful for the ones who had an influence on me. Shout out to the fantastic res life department, health center and hospitality department. Like any school it has issues that need to be addressed and fixed such as the lack of parking, some of the apartments and a few other things. The only difference is that Mercyhurst strives to make progress in every area it needs to fix. If I could redo the last four years again I wouldn’t change a thing or go to a different school because this was one of the best experiences of my life! Would 100% recommend.Daniel L

Loved our tour of this University! It has a "Harry Potter" feel to some of it. The campus is clean and well manicured. The people here are so nice. The buildings are up to date with some really cool stuff for learning. One floor has a real Harry Potter feel and a quick walk down the stairs and it's super high tech like Star wars. We loved this University and everything they offered. The dorms are spacious. Plenty of closet space. Bathrooms are huge in some dorms. The Church area is gorgeous. The "apt" type dorms need updated. I don't go to school there, so I can't give feedback in that regard. Nice looking campus. There's at least one bus that picks up there about every half hour and it'll take you to downtown Pittsburgh, Oakland, and others. So that's convenient for students. It's literally right next to Renzie Park which has lots of grass for outdoor games, multiple pavilions, a pond for fishing, dog park (not that students that live in the dorms would have a dog with them) just worth mentioning. I can keep going, but that should be enough. Frankly I like the location. Just my opinion.Paul Bernot

I wouldn't recommend this place if you have any mental health issues. They are ill-equipped to handle any sort of these situations. I can attest to this not just from my experience, but from my friends' experiences as well. UPDATE 2022: I have since graduated from the University. Career Services was of ZERO help in finding me a job or internships. I also got an email from them recently, asking if I could advise a student interested in a similar, but not the same, major. I had to explain the difference between my major and the other major to Career Services. A big deciding factor in me coming to Saint Francis was that they had good job placement, which I specifically called them on the phone and asked about, prior to attending. During the phone call, I was told all the places where people had gotten jobs. Fast-forward and most people from my department are not working in the field they went to college for or working jobs they are over-qualified for.Kristin Endres

Currently pursuing their online Master of Human Resource Management. The staff are extremely friendly, organized, and really care. The classes can be challenging, but the professors are always there to help. I'm blown away at this school. A hidden gem: organized classes, quick responses for all academic (financial aid, advising, curriculum) inquiries, and all of it at a very competitive rate. If you're considering their online programs, choose them! I'm sure their campus classes are great as the same professors teach them. Many classes have professionals who are actually in the real world, teaching the content that they practice everyday. They don't try and sell you anything, which is huge "pet-peeve" of mine. I'm from the DC area, nine hours away from this school– having never been to campus– they have been more available than my undergraduate university (In which I had 100% on campus classes). A couple week's ago my wife and I helped our daughter and son-in-law take our granddaughter to her first year of college it was a great experience the young adults that helped unload are truck's were the best they emptied the truck's guided us to her room and answered every question it was nice to see the respect and manorisim that these young adults showed at all times especially in the times we live in. I have graduated with five degrees from four different universities in Pittsburgh ranging from Bachelor to Doctorate degrees. I can honestly state that Duquesne was my favorite school. I received a higher quality of education and benefitted more from the smaller classes which are not offered by other schools. Most of my educators actually cared about their students and were not at all condescending (ok, there were a couple). Duquesne costs a bit more, but it was worth it. The campus is great. The classrooms; halls; and grounds are clean, traditional, and safe. My child chose to go to another school, but I would sleep better knowing that was living on campus at Duquesne rather than an apartment in Oakland. The only criticism I have is Duquesne has become more noticeably politically liberal than other Catholic schools. I’m ok with limited expression of personal liberal or conservative views, but I am disappointed when those views become a driver for the facility and administration to influence students. Some of those views have reached national attention which lowers my annual donations to the school.Jerry

We went for a campus tour today and absolutely fell in love with the campus. We are from the Pittsburgh area and I never expected the campus to be as big and charming as it is. The tour guides were very knowledgeable and the student:teacher ratio (14:1) with an average class size of 28 was a major bonus. The dorms are 2 bed frames with a desk and closet for each roommate with 2 drawers under the bed as well. They're spacious and clean. They have an amazing 4 floor workout building with every piece of equipment you could ever need! It truly is a hidden gem right in the downtown area. Away from the hustle and bustle of the city but still close enough to enjoy downtown amenities. I don't see how any other college could top this!!Melanie Phillips

My wife and I just moved our freshman daughter to Susquehanna last week. We couldn’t be more impressed with the efficiency of the move-in process and the extensive measures – physical and procedural – in place across the campus to mitigate the spread of disease. The University kept us well informed of their evolving plans weeks prior to move-in date. Upon arrival the dorms were clean, the staff were super friendly, and the resulting atmosphere was warm and comfortable. We were at peace feeling that our daughter was in a safe place. Great job to the University as a whole for great plans and execution of them to get students safely back to school.Carl Hordesky

Attended a church conference. The Christian auditorium had the air conditioning so cold you need a sweater. Bathrooms located downstairs were a little dated. The workshops were in a separate building where the cafeteria and conference rooms with wall dividers. Cafeteria was environmentally friendly with real plates, glassware, and silverware. Went to this college for my first semester as a freshman. If you are looking for a super hard core christian education this is the place for you. I had my application in to another college after 1 week here. I didn't even make it through orientation. I wasn't brought up super religious but I liked the school when I toured. What they didn't tell you is no laundry on Sundays, no vacuuming on Sundays, and no dancing allowed on campus. The swing dancing club had to meet in a church off campus. I always followed the rules but left most weekends as there was nothing to do but go to church. I was basically singled out amongst the girls in my dorm for visiting friends at other colleges on the weekends and they were told to stay away from me. This college is Reformed Presbyterian. Look that up before you decide to attend here. I still hold some anger towards this place. You have been warned.Emily Hesch

I have to laugh at some of the responses here because you can see that some of these individuals have never been to this college at all. They are seething with hate, and like another individual described, the one person has written bad reviews for 17 other Christian colleges as well. None of which they have ever attended or have been involved with. Haters will be haters! With that said, my son is getting an excellent education at Geneva. Loves it there! Every year the football team goes out into the community to help. What you give out – whether it be good or evil, gets returned back to you. Geneva is an amazing and beautiful school!! There is a person on here named Frostfalls who gave it a one star who also has given 17 other Christian Colleges a one star as well! So I'm pretty sure it's discrimination against Christian Colleges. This was the last school in the world I wanted to attend, but having 3 school aged kids and a limited available schedule, I found that it was my only option. Upon enrolling I realized just how nice the school is. The staff are very helpful and knowledgeable and are always willing to help in any way they can. The education isn't mediocre either. I've met people that have transferred to a 4 yr. college from RACC and they told me some classes from RACC were more demanding and difficult that the ones they took in the 4 yr. college. Lastly, the cost of education at this school is very cheap, especially if you take in to consideration the quality level of education you receive while in attendance. If you're looking for a school to do minimal work just to receive a degree, this isn't the school for you (They expect you to work for your grades). However, if you're looking for a good school, with knowledgeable teachers and staff, a quality education that stands up to the rest, and tuition that doesn't cost a fortune; this school is exactly what you've been looking for! The only negative aspect I've found so far is the location… Other than that you won't be disappointed. 🙂Shanna Poindexter

I went to RACC for my associates and ALL the staff became a family for me. I love this place from day one. They were all very supportive and respectful. I happened to work at the security department under the work study program and I had the best supervisor anyone could ask for. Carmen Medina was a mother yo me. She was very supportive and empowering. Stacy was like a sister to me. Always keeping me smiling and always encouraging me. My coworkers were always supportive and patient with me. They trained me well and I was with them even after I graduated. I am so grateful for my RACC family. From financial aid staff, admission office, work study program coordinator Kim livingood, the student lab on Berks hall. To Maria at the front desk. Librarians, I love my GED teacher Maria Perez. RACC Is affordable and their curriculum is very well designed to prepare you for the bachelors. Danelle Bower is a great instructor and Dr Blakely. They prepare students to think outside the box. This school really sucks. It is for students who have no choice but to go to that school. Almost half the campus is on some kind of academic probation. The staff is not really helpful like they say they are. Only a small percentage of professors and staff really care about the students. The school tends to make decisions with the students money and spend it, without the current students knowledge. Parking is horrible at this campus and security is very minimal. So If you are looking for a safe, secure, educational environment where people actually respect you and care about your education. This is not the place for you. The Campus is clean, and well maintained. The food isn't too bad. But aside from these constants, you will have a different experience depending on your worldview going in. The theology and philosophy courses you will be required to take will be authentically Catholic, which will either encourage or enrage you depending on if you are a practicing Catholic or not. Other general ed's will be standard, but sufficent. DeSales University is going to be a decidedly different experience depending on your major as well. If your major is in the arts and you are a practicing Catholic, you will have a tough time since most of the people in that major will be agnostic or atheist (and professors may be geared towards that). However-the actual theory and practical application of the discipline you are studying is going to be very good and useful. The people you meets will likely be very nice, and you won't have a tough time finding friends if you try. The faith life of campus is pretty good, with various to groups to encourage you. There's a small community of students who attend daily mass, which is always a help. The Mass itself however (Sunday and weekday), leaves a bit to be desired. The music especially will sound a bit 1970's, instead of having the timeless characteristic of a liturgically accurate mass. Gregorian Chant or Polyphony would sure help here, but the choir director is a protestant at the moment (for some reason) so that is unlikely. All in all, whether you are a practicing Catholic or an unabashed pagan you will have some issues with DeSales, but the academics themselves are good and you will likely be prepared for your field upon graduation.JP Kloess

It seems incredible that they are a university with "Christian principles" and today February 22, 2021, they announced a snow day and did not cancel classes or offer them online to students who commute to campus. My daughter is in college and she cannot come back to my home because it is snowing very hard and she drives a small car that cannot be driven in the snow because it may cause and or have an accident. You should be more empathetic with the students who commute. It seems that they are only interested in the money and not in the lives of the students. And now you close campus at 3:00pm and my daughter can’t drive to my home. Who will solve that?Wanda Rodríguez

Enjoyed a few Basebal Games. Not a bad seat in the house. When One arrives at The Stadium Complex, there's an opportunity to watch Men's Baseball or Women's Softball. The fields are "SUPER" nice. They are well maintained and down right beautiful. Bring an umbrella for shade. It can get a bit hot. This is a "GREAT" Family Event. Unlike other places, there's NO COST to get in. Parking is free , however it can get a little tight w/ games going on at both fields simultaneously. This being said, If you're a Baseball Fan, it's an experience to be had. Visit soon….. Grove City is an excellent college with a host of great faculty, and I'm not just saying that because it is the alma mater of many of my family members. That being said, in recent years, GCC has drifted from its conservative reputation by hiring more liberal (both religiously and politically) professors, hosting more liberal speakers at chapel, and succumbing to liberal practices (besides some questionable actions on the part of the college throughout this pandemic). The change is gentle but alarming to me, to my family, to long-time conservative faculty, and to many of the student body whose expectations of the institution have not matched their experiences. At the moment, the high quality of education persists, and because of that and for convenience, I will continue to pursue my degree at GCC. However, I'm afraid that if these shadows go unaltered, I will no longer be able to recommend the college in good conscience by the time I complete my degree. I pray that God preserves this bulwark of private, traditional liberal arts Christian education, and I pray that, if you are a student or a parent considering GCC, God give you guidance to see through the advertisements into the true nature of things and decide rightly in accordance with His will. Grove City is home to an increasingly rare culture and community. My time at Grove City not only propelled me into a successful Engineering career, but gave me the confidence and tools to apply my faith every aspect of my life. The community here is like nothing you'll experience anywhere else, its one big family, from the President McNulty and Mrs. McNulty down to the students. Grove City was the most fun and fruitful 4 years of my life and I can confidently say there isn't a single other school in the country that would have given me the same unique education and opportunities both in and out of the classroom.Austen Krause

I wish I could give zero stars. I am queer and the way queer people are treated at this school is absolutely heartbreaking. I attended so many lectures teaching us to “pray the gay away” which were so harmful and damaging. This school is called “god’s concentration camp” for a reason. The people here are fake, judgmental and the “religion” taught here is absolutely disgusting, with no regard for human beings. You are expected to confirm or be seen as a “sinner.” I wish I had never gone here.Stacey

IUP is a public University often called by its nick name Crimson Hawks. IUP is spread across 350 acres in Indiana town. Identified by Crimson and slate colors, thus university is a wonderful place to study. Established in 1875, IUP is a very famous Teacher Training University. The lush green campus is amazing and well organised. Well connected through free bus service inside and outside the campus. Whole staff is awesome. The university is very well managed and has a powerful network of Alumni. IUP is ever progressive and many major grants sanctioned to various departments. The university offers a good diversity and hosts students and scholars from many countries.👍👍Amit Mehta

Attended IUP for my bachelor's in education. It was a fantastic program and I could not have asked for better professors. The dorms are great, the campus is beautiful, and the town of Indiana is a beautiful small town.brilohr7

My daughter just graduated from Cal U. She had an excellent experience and enjoyed her 4 yrs there. She has continued to a masters program at Pitt and has had no trouble finding work or getting accepted into other programs. All universities function in a similar way and it's up to the student to take advantage of all the opportunities that the school offers. Frankly, I see Cal U as an extremely good value that all students should consider before getting into crazy debt at other universities.Eddie Aguirre

Very nice but small University. Very clean and there were lots of campus police around. The cafeteria was limited on options. They could definitely do better with that. Probably the worst options from any of the 10-15 campuses we've visited. Only other downside is it's literally in the middle of nowhere. Nothing is around. I didn't even see a grocery store nearby but I could have missed it.Nichole Matala

I believe this is a good school. I think I got a good graduate level education here. The tuitions are reasonable. Being in a less urban area, it is usually easier to find parking than the university where I completed my undergraduate degree. Another nice feature is that alumni can get extremely reasonable rates for continued membership in the fitness center.Michael T Goodside

On Friday September 6 I was passing through Mansfield my way to Rochester. I was supposed to meet my sister in town for lunch at noon but arrived way too early so I went to the campus for a self-guided tour and to kill some time in the process. A woman on campus gave me directions to the visitor lot. I went in to the admissions building and got a pass. I put the pass in my car and went exploring with my cameras. This campus sits on the side of a hill and it is very scenic especially in the fall. The campus marquee building is the library. I visited the upper floors and the staff was very accommodating in letting me take pictures out their windows. Very hilly campus. By the end of the first semester everybody will be in great shape. Bring a sled in the winter.Richard K

MU will forever be a second home to me. I will never forget the friends I met there and the times we shared. Truly a hidden gem that has no comparison. I know it is cliche but the phrase "You're more than just a number here," is more true at MU than any other school I have visited. The professors and staff know you and care about you.
