Jennifer Neibling is an absolute delight, she in an angel of an admissions advisor who has helped me constantly for several weeks and makes sure to stay on top of my case (even while she has her hands full with countless students!) she is professional, sweet, caring, kind, optimistic, and motivates you to be the best you can be! To be completely honest, she is one of the main reasons I want to attend Plaza. I have never seen a program/admissions assistant so eager to assistant you in making your career goals become reality. She has guided me throughout my entire admission’s journey, and will no doubt continue to help me progress through school. I visited as a new patient for a student dentist. It’s a new building with new equipment and most importantly clean environment. Everything takes much longer for a full overview of me teeth since she’s a student being examined. It’s nothing like having a normal dentist visit. She checked my blood pressure, pulse, even sited a small mole on my neck and gave me skin awareness and skin cancer advice. Then neck and jaw was checked and each tooth’s gum is measured and then x-rays! This was all done under the general supervision of professional and thorough Senior Dentist. Then time was up! I have visit again another day to finish with further study of each tooth, brushing technique and scaling I hope at the end!Farnoosh Famouri-Lee

Starting in the Career Pathways Program, I worked my way up to earning a high GPA with the help of my amazing professors, peers, and faculty staff members. Additionally, participating in Student Life activities gave me the push to further my education in the Associates AND Bachelor's program for Business Administration & Management. Plaza College became a second home for me. I earned an amazing step as becoming a member and officer in the English honor society, Sigma Kappa Delta. A good school where you get out what you put in. Many trains stop within walking distance and buses as well. Just like any college, depending on your major, you will find good and bad professors. So always make use of the rate my professor website. I had a very pleasant experience. The administration was more competent than other schools I went to and my issues were always solved within a reasonable amount of time. The facilities I had to use for my major were in even better condition compared to some four year schools. The wifi coverage was good. Plenty of cafeterias with the best one being in the E building. Plenty of food trucks with different types of foods. Lots of seating areas with electrical ports. The class scheduling was workable with enough sections to fit almost everyone. Can't speak for any other major but it felt like that overall. They are always hiring new adjuncts so it's not the same professor teaching that one section you need all the time that everyone says is horrible. Always stay on top of your things if you want to have them resolved quickly. That's the part you play in your college years. The hand holding stops after High School. All I can say is, relax a little and have some fun. At the end of the day grades won't show the strength of your character after all is said and done.Mounia B

It seems like professors like the one I got Professor Arnold who acts likes she is going through the motions and don't there . i felt I waste my time and money which I paid out of pocket in her class and is thinking about leaving the college. She is one of the worst teachers/professors i ever had . I think cause it a community college a lot of them are mad cause they can't teach in a four year college through out of the community colleges in NY LaGuardia is the best . That being said she is the third professors that I had that sleeps walks through their class and I had another one that did something that weren't cool and I didn't show up for her class and never got an apology from her. I say if you over 30 years like me this college is not for you. Im currently in my last year at LaGuardia (majoring in business) and i have to say the Business department is full of AMAZING professors. Classes are really easy (most of them except accounting unless you're good at it) and the students are cool. I, personally, never talked to anyone or made any friends because I'm not an outgoing person. The school is constantly going under renovations and they just finished the new library and it looks AMAZING, as if it was a library from an ivy league. Food isn't that great but what do you expect, its school food [not free of course]. Love the QC CUNY campus along with free QC Red/CUNY black shuttle bus for students that has certain pick and drop off points . If I could, I would easily give York a ZERO RATING! NOTHING against the professors I’ve come across, but the school, policy and registrar/bursar staff and policy are ridiculous. I have been charged, during the pandemic I might add FULL. I clearly withdrew from summer classes and was literally ONE day passed the 100% refund date. After, I spoke continuously with bursar who kept sending me back to registrar. ALL professors assisted in submitting documentation showing I DID NOT CONTINUE in the ONLINE courses. Although I submitted required, and accurate paperwork documenting the WHY I could not complete the summer session, this greedy school is charging me ONE HUNDRED PERCENT for courses that their own records reflect that u withdrew from. Again, let me reiterate this was at the time of a Pandemic. I am now not able to register or do anything until this balance is paid. I think this school is deplorable, too much of the staff is unprofessional and not helpful At all! They’re dismissive and there is never any considerations or flexibility offered. It’s so much more-For the upcoming college youth- there are many schools to choose from within the CUNY system- I would advise, save yourself possible headaches and anguish and choose Somewhere else to attend!Bridget Cros

If you can, avoid this school. Majority of the staff are unprofessional, lazy and do not seem to take their job seriously. Imagine emailing your professor and days, or even up to week plus passes by with no response. Some professors to avoid, Darrell Morris- extremely unprofessional acts as if he's paying us to be there and not the other way around. Does not actually teach anything, except the one time he was being evaluated. Does not respond to emails. Never comes on camera. Samuel Olagun- jeez where do I begin. Just do not take him. Arrogant, condescending, rude, unresponsive. Evan Owens- spent most of the semester focused on his graduate work than our class. Gave the same grade to everyone in our group project even though 2 people did no work. They earned a free A. Overall the school is a nightmare and I am so happy that I have never had to step foot on this campus. They act like they are doing you a favor instead of their jobs. Lovely campus and easily seen from the street. The school is close to public transportation. The campus houses a high school and an elementary school. The grounds can use some work and some more public art installations. The cemetery is gated but plenty of history ardorns the head stones. The indoor exhibit of The Tuskegee Airmen is worth visiting the campus. The stundent art galley is the best. Ask security for accessibility for people with disabilities. Security at the gate will ask of I. D. He is very pleasant and awesome with directions. Most staff/faculty are helpful too. Better to get assistance from the more experienced staff. They are quite knowledgeable. The food is pricey for college life, but the chicken Marsalis, peas & rice, Mac & cheese and green beans with show string beans cut carrots was a tasty pleasant delight. The logistics of the buildings are identified in letter quadrants to help navigate your way through the buildings. For example 1B 106 would be on the 1st floor in the "B" section. As F-1 visa international student, I would say that ASA College is a great place for our educational and career goals. Professors are responsive and very collaborative as well as helpful. During my education in ASA College I was able to make friends with students from different parts of world. The most of them are my lifetime friends now. Classes are not too big. Therefore, providing a tremendous opportunity to study and excel your knowledge and/or skills. I would recommend international students to study in ASA College if they want to be ready to compete within existing job market and get a job they are looking for. One of the benefits of ASA College is providing an internship opportunity. ASA College gave me the opportunity to get my first degree in Medical Assisting in the USA, and also to gain useful experience through work in the admission office. The college has won multiple awards from the CUNY system as well as other institutions for its ability to grant Associate's Degrees at an impressive rate and to foster continuing education at senior colleges. With a respectable teacher-to-student ratio, significant public and private funding, and a central location in New York City, the learning experience has been covered by many publications and studied by experts. However, BMCC also suffers from a large rise in remedial education, lack of freshman retention, and overcrowding. Due to its larger base of capital compared to most other two-year colleges, expansion of new campuses during the rebuilding of Fiterman Hall was possible. Several trailers are still used as classrooms to this day in order to help expand capacity. edit, update: ended up coming to the conclusion that because all of this uncertanty and my bad living situation I am dropping out, I did all I could, was not met halfway by anone but professors unless I begged here. do not go here if you're poor. Just, no. I can't take it anymore. I've tried to explain my situation to this school multiple times, and I'm left to struggle on my own. I am starving, housing insecure, financially unstable, and unable to make ot to class or properly study because of financial struggle, inability to be alone a place quiet to study because they won't house, and depression. In the end they want to fail you out so you can pay them fees later, I guarantee. I'lll gladly take my review down if it's actually a thing they decide they really want to help me with, only after I have been actually helped, and not as in, money grant to help my situation I never recieve, or new housing program email I apply for and am swiftly rejected because I am not enrolled just enough just yet due to circumstances that are once again not entirely my fault because when I applied here I intended to be taking 16 credits not 7. If you are hungry, you can find all types of food around the building. It has 26000 student. It also has a big cafeteria, big library, big quiet study place for study and a lot more . Hunter Business School helped me find a career that not only changed my life, but completely fell in love with. Covid was a blessing in disguise for me, and really made me evaluate how I'm going to change my life for the better. With being let go from my mundane office job, this was my opportunity to find a not only a stable career, but something rewarding as well. When the idea of radiography came up, I thought "This could be something I can do" and started researching school all around Long Island. HBS landed as my #1 choice. This program was not only affordable, but I would've started my career a whole year later if I attended the program at NCC. I would've been stuck taking prerequisite classes, since my college credits were more than 10 years old. With HBS, it didn't matter how long I had been out of school. I was given the same opportunity whether I was straight out of high school or changing careers later in life. Not only that, but with the accelerated program, I graduated before other schools were done and that gave me a head-start on finding a job. Last week I graduated from the Radiologic Technologist program, and I already have two dream jobs waiting for me. Today I passed my registry for my license, and I couldn't have done with without the dedicated staff at HBS. While the courses were content heavy, they made everything so clear and easy to learn, and were there for us when we needed the extra help. Attending this school has saved my life. It gave me purpose. The program showed me that I’m much stronger than I thought! I graduated in February 2021 from the x-ray technologist program. The faculty is amazing and very motivating. Many times I felt like the work was too hard, but I didn’t give up, and the teachers (especially Abe) really helped to keep me focused on my goals. So many doors have opened up for me since I graduated from the program. What’s even better is that the school helps you find a job! I graduated from NCC and John Jay prior to attending this school, and neither one of those institutions helped me get a job. In addition, the teachers at the other universities were not nearly as helpful and attentive compared to the teachers at Hunter business school. If it wasn’t for this program and all the amazing things it offers, I truly do not know where I would be today! I am eternally grateful for this school and their programs. Looking back, I have nothing but positive memories here. It was a wonderful learning experience! Abe is the best teacher ever. I’ve been attending Hunter business school Xray tech program for almost a year and I can honestly say it’s the best decision I’ve ever made. Usually Xray programs are 24 months, Hunters is 16 months(shorter but fast paced)5 days a week so it’s very time consuming. You need to be 100% dedicated and contribute most of your days studying BUT it’s so worth it at the end! Being out of school for a few years it was nerve wrecking to get into the flow of things, but because of the instructors(Mr.Abe, Mrs. Aggey, & Mrs. Joy) they continuously motivate you to be an amazing tech. Because of my lovely instructors they have molded me into a great tech making sure to be tedious to little details in this field and providing excellent care for future patients. I can’t thank Mr. Abe enough for giving me this opportunity and believing in me! Hunter has changed my life and has made me gain such a great career path and a new RAD TECH family ! Do not waste your money. This school is a rip-off. My daughter took the EKG and Phlebotomy courses and throughout both courses only received one day of clinical in each area and they were not full days of practice since the school does not use manikins and the students had to practice the phlebotomy on each other and they could not stick each other but so many times…smh. Upon completion, my daughter received the run around trying to get an internship, and during the one internship interview that she went on the doctor told her that she really did not have anything for her as she was just asked to take another intern who was a relative of someone at the school, but she didn't what to tell my daughter no over the phone. She just had her waste her time and gas so she could experience an interview and tell her no in person…really? The school looked like a waste of time from the beginning and I should have gone with my instincts and gone to a reputable program.B. Manuel

I did my ultrasound course from here and my experience was great . Dr. Ayub and his lectures was awesome and he is always there for you in any guidance or questions even after completion of the course. The good thing is that they give hospital internships placement which actually enrich our skill and opportunities to learn varieties of cases and makes you confident. After the completion of the course they also help you for job opportunities which is really helpful as a beginner. This is the best accredited medical school. HANDS DOWN!! At first I was a little skeptical with my choices but I thank God that I made the best decision. I attended Career School of NY 10 years ago and it was one of the best experiences. I did the cosmetology program and it took just about 9 months to complete and graduate! I always recommend this school over any competitors because they are more affordable and you get the same proper training and education as you would anywhere else. The staff from what I remember was super friendly, yet professional. Honestly the faculty/staff is very unorganized for the surgical tech program. The only reason I went with this school is because they have many start dates, so when I inquired on the program it was starting the following month. Opposed to waiting 5-6 months to start elsewhere. This program is insanely expensive and definitely not worth the money (teachers/admin do not care about getting you information on time about your classes once you’ve enrolled/started the program. It’s very hard to get direct information.) You can absolutely find a program that is shorter and cheaper- will still get you NBSTSA certified. This school does accept Fafsa and sub/unsub loans. However the NYU program is only $15k but you need to pay in full before it starts and its a 15 month program. Swedish is about $45k of government money and it’s a 21 month+ program depending on how long it takes you to do clinicals. I don’t feel like I’m learning the job any better or faster than I would have at a different program. I feel like they are dragging out the curriculum to suit the needs of state funding requirements to keep getting the fafsa/aid, whatever. I wouldn’t recommend but everyone’s needs are different. I personally wish I would have looked into a private loan and gone to a different school so I could be done faster. Once you’re NBSTSA certified, it doesn’t matter where you went to school at all.j. “Jay” C

I am very pleased with the education received at the Swedish Institute. As a recent graduate I found myself excelling effortlessly. This school really prepares you and gives the students all knowledge, tools and resources to be a leading successful massage therapist not years after graduating but right after finishing school you are already right at the level of experienced therapists. The clients I am seeing now think I have years of experience from the results and the way my work feels and the information I give them when addressing their case or problem areas. My employers are incredibly pleased with my readiness and professionalism which the school really enforces in all classes. This is due in great part to the amazing experienced and active faculty members we are lucky to learn from and the extensive advanced curriculum in combination with an excellent clinic that allows us to get real experience which has come handy in my current practice. I’m currently enrolled at the Swedish Institute in their Massage Therapy program and wow, I’m having a great time learning! My professors have been wonderful knowledgeable people with many years of experience in the field. They have a passion for both teaching and massage which makes class fun and inspiring. One of my first classes was 100% hands-on practice, meaning I began learning massage techniques during my first term at the school. The science courses paired with the hands-on classes come together beautifully as you learn about the human body and massage all together. I feel that by the end of the program you will feel confident and more than ready to start working as a professional in the field. The school is small but gives you a home-y feeling and a great sense of community. It’s a great place to meet and network with amazing like-minded individuals. I want to say that the Allen School of Health Sciences wasn’t my first choice. I only wanted to get more information about the school. My daughter recommended this school to me. I came and spoke to Ms. Hunter about enrolling in classes. I passed my entrance exam with flying colors and enrolled in their four-week course. I paid off my tuition before classes started. Something came over me before starting that kept saying “I’m going to be a failure” and that I shouldn’t bother to go. I called the school to cancel and spoke with Ms. Zabida. She was very strong and shocked about my statement and said she was going to have Ms Hunter call me. I spoke to my husband who told me that a quitter won’t win and a winner never quits. Soon after Joy gave me a call and said “Ms. Bucknor you can’t quit, you have to reach your goal.” I then spoke with one of the directors, Robert. Rob gave me some great advice and we ended the discussion with “Happy Holiday and I will be seeing you on campus next week.” It made me so happy to speak with them. The nervousness did not go away because it was a long time since I sat in a classroom chair. I even had difficulty sleeping. But, with the help of my classmates and my instructor Ms. July I succeeded and completed the program with an A average! I want to thank my teacher, classmates, and husband for all the support. My experience at Ace Institute has been very successful. After completing my internship I recieved a job offering a week later! Now I am a full time Diagnostic medical sonographer. The school directors Amit and Gaurav made me feel welcomed the first day of meeting them. They care about all of the students, because they want the best for us. They both showed respect and gratitude. Rutu was always there for me when it came to financial aid support. So no student should ever have to worry about if they can afford to pay for the school. In my opinion, the diagnostic medical sonography program at Ace is the most affordable program in New York City. Tisha who is in charge of the internship process was so incredible! I’m so proud of myself, I just finished my externship and I’m a graduate of Ace Institute of Technology I started the program in November. I was looking for a school that understands me and able to work with me. From the first time I met with the Director Dr. Gigii she was amazing she motivated me throughout the whole program. There were times I wanted to give up but she didn’t let me. All the teachers were understand and compassionate and if I needed extra Help they would go out there way to help me after class. Dr.Gigii always called and contacted me to make sure I was logged into class, I came in person, and made sure I finish school. I went to other schools, honestly I felt like I was just a number. As a single mother of three kids it was hard going back to school. But I was tired of these dead end jobs. I decide to go back to school for medical assistant. I filled out a form and so many schools called me. So many! But Ace institute was so persistent, Dr. Gigii told me that she just wanted to tell me what the class offers and affordable tutiution and after our meeting feel free to visit other schools and whatever you decide im just happy your going back yo school. I decide to go to ACE and I happy I did because of Dr.. Gigii persistent and not letting me give up I finished my externship and I'm working at my externship site. Great staff! All therapists are extremely kind, and considerate of your comfort and understanding of your injury as well as the exercises you will be doing. I got my therapy done and was cared for by all therapists, Charmaine, Alma and Ghazala, thank you for your support and consistency! Also, the desk receptionists are very kind and always trying to help and communicate the best they can with us patients. Theradynamics is a great place to get physical therapy. The therapists ( especially Alma ) there are great at helping you with whatever issues you have. Their bright personalities and positive attitudes go along way for me in terms of my own motivation to do the exercises I’m given to do at home. Dr Michael Regina was referred to me by my podiatrist for an ankle injury, and I'm so thankful to have met him. In my first appointment, he took his time to acknowledge how the injury happened,  then he was very thorough in explaining what exercises will be best to help me heal. He was very Friendly, knowledgeable and professional and never once did I feel rushed. After that, I did PT sessions with both Dr Michael and Dr Gil, and they were both simply amazing. I already felt much better within the first week . You can see they truly care for the progress you make in each session. The atmosphere and the good vibes from the staff makes introverts like me feel comfortable right away, and not to mention, the facility is sparkling clean and organized. Shout out to Christian, one of the PT aids, who was very patient and kind in explaining the exercises with details to make sure I do it correctly. And Cinthia, who was just lovely and helpful since I had to reschedule quite a  few times due to work. Now I can go back to do the activities I love and get healthy again, and all thanks to all of you at Hands-on Physical Therapy!Gabriela R

Staff and attitude make all the difference in therapy. I've been to my share of places in the past, and nowhere else have I seen a team work so well together and with patients. You get hands-on work from a licensed DPT at EVERY session. Staff are well trained to take you through all of your exercises, in an upbeat way, and are in constant contact with your DPT. You don't waste much time at all waiting: staff knows how to adjust your routine so that you can work at a station while waiting for the next one. Facilities are immaculate every time I go. My only gripe is about parking. If you're driving, get there 10 minutes early to search the side streets, or get ready to pay a meter. Big shout out to Dr. Gil!Jon Torodash

I started PT treatment for my wrist and arm with Hands On Therapy around the end of January and I must say I am beyond satisfied with the services I received. The staff was very pleasant and friendly. Everyone was very professional but you can also get a family vibe within the facility which made the environment peaceful and welcoming. Working with Dr. Michael has been such a pleasure he was always attentive to my needs and finding the best possible way to have an effective session for long term results. I was always afraid to go to the dentist and because of peninsula in excruciating pain, I really had to. The minute I went through the doors, the staff, Justyna and Caryn were very friendly and welcoming. I loved that, and immediately meeting the Dentist, Dr. Naseem, he also was very disarming. I have absolutely no complaints, and I would love if anyone who is afraid of doing procedures or scared of the dentist overall, would have the same experience. I’ve done more than 2 visits and it’s all the same or better each time. The procedures done were very clean and painless too. That, I wasn’t expecting as I did 2 extractions. OMG, I’m always terrified when it comes to dental visits because of past experience and me being claustrophobic. But my experience with Dr. Naseem was amazing from the moment I entered the office. The girls at the front desk were very professional. The office is very clean. DR. Nadeem understood my concerns and he was very knowledgeable and passionate. I came in for a tooth extraction and it was my first time at a dentist. I was quite nervous since it was my first surgery but my encounter with Justina the receptionist/coordinator had a great talk with me through the process. So these guys went above and beyond when it came to customer service. They were very polite and understanding. Really excellent team, with Dr Batash as an absolute standout of a doctor–incredible empathy and bedside manner. Traveled from out of state for a procedure, and they helped me through every step of the process. Dolsky Physical Therapy on 90-33 Elmhurst Ave is the perfect find for my lower back pain therapy…. I will say it’s a wow for me, (greatJob). I walked in with cruciating pain running down my legs that morning of June 7th, and by the time I get home I couldn’t believe I didn’t have to take any pain pill, no pain rub medication etc…. I was so shocked that I couldn’t believe how fast I was feeling better on my first time going there. I thank the Supervisor and PTA Mr. Manuel Peralta for a job well done… This place is clean, well organized, they work well with people, very friendly, and their customers service is professional. Always a warm and welcoming atmosphere here, very helpful and patient staff and there's always someone there to help you. Exercises and equipment are excellent, and the A/C and always good music doesn't hurt. The Physical Therapists are amazing to work with. Manny has specifically been working with me to help recover from a bad ankle injury, and it's been invaluable. Not only am I finally on the road to recover to my ankle, but I'm solving other issues in my body as well. I'll be leaving here overall much healthier and happier when I'm done. Bold Vision is definitely the place to get your HHA, PCA and the upcoming CNA certificate. The staff (Sandra) & the director are super kind and helpful, Sandra is the BEST!. Their prices are affordable & their schedules are super flexible. Sandra helped me from point A (Signing up for classes) to point B (Graduation), I had many questions and she was more than happy to correctly answer them all.
