20 Best Medical Assistant Programs In Palm Bay, FL (2022 Updated)

I love and loved South Coast College. The best thing about it was its staff. From its court reporting instructors to its paralegal program, everything is taught and intended to provide the student with the best opportunity to leave its halls with knowledge superlative to that of students from anywhere else. What are your chances of obtaining a position in the legal office as a court reporter, paralegal or legal assistant? That is probably what I should have asked myself prior to obtaining a "less-than-godly" student loan! I graduated mentally prepared – but financially not quite ready to work at the rate at which most legal firms hire those fresh out of school! Although I work in a field completely unrelated to that in which I was trained (I graduated from the paralegal program and am one of two people now running a surgical company.) At this time, the courts in Los Angeles and Orange County are hiring court reporters, while deposition agencies like Hahn and Bowersock, Regal Court Reporting, Barkley have all been hiring — keeping graduates busily engaged. I've been involved in the occupation for nearly 25 years. Yes, it has been challenged by electronic recording, but that comes and goes. Its what people make of their own choices in life. Today I am seeing this as a great opportunity for anyone with an entrepreneurial spirit who is willing to jump in and take advantage of the varied paths the skill of court reporting can provide including court and deposition reporting, as well as CART (steno-interpreting for the hearing-impaired) and captioning live television. One of the best nursing schools in the state of Michigan. They require nursing clinical experience which is worth its weight in gold with your training. Tuition is reasonable. Free Parking available. The building is not very inviting because it is so big, but once you get in and figure out what's where it becomes less intimidating. I graduated here with my associate's degree in Leadership. 60 of my credits transferred from NWTC to Concordia University of Wisconsin. I preferred the video conference classes. My son is currently attending the school. I was a student there back in the early 80's. The campus is very nice. Helpful faculty, variety of courses and majors. Good food choices at the cafeteria and a workout area with plenty of free weights and machines with an attached gymnasium. Lots of nice areas to study both inside and outside.David Klinzing

Excellent place to take a test! I took a certification exam through Pearson Vue at NWTC. The test center employees explained everything thoroughly and the center itself was quiet enough to take my exam. I'm a recent graduate of the LPN program and currently an RN student. The nursing program for me has not been an easy one, I have run into a lot of personal challenges inside of my own life with family and other issues. One thing I know for sure, is that the staff at lake area want you to succeed and are always there to help when you need it. I don't always agree with their methods however they are always willing to listen and try to make their program better through any suggestions. The instructors of the nursing programs have a lot to deal with, students including myself are very emotional and the instructors do their best to help us power through. Lake Area technical college also has counseling available for free to any student and it is exceptional. The college wants you to succeed, they are always there to help ,you just have to ask for help. I am forever changed for the better because of the kindness generosity and patience of the instructors as well as other staff at lake area. I can't compare it to any other college, because I have not had an experience anywhere else but if you are looking for a place that you can have a good support system with people who love their job, strive to always do better, and sincerely care about you then this is the place for you.Desirae Snyder

Incompetent….called to verify my daughter's tuition amount the gal told me two different amounts. Then when I went in to pay I asked them to verify all classes and credits were accounted for and she confirmed they were. I was then given a different amount then what I was given on the phone.A month later I am told I owe them more money , when I asked why they told me credits were added after my payment was made that day. The staff obviously can't read a computer screen when asked. When I confronted them on it, I got a run around , they wouldn't take responsibility for the error. They were told that they would not get a dime if my child attends next fall until a print out of everything is given to me and all classes and credits are accounted for so prevent this from happening again. I have other children who have attended college as well as myself and I have never had a issue like this.Amanda Anderson

I attended Southeastern University and it was one of the most horrible experiences I’ve ever had to go through. I attended an extension site through them. I received all A’s, the courses were elementary but the communication with the school was horrible and something I’ve never seen before from a school. The counselors hardly ever answer the phone, it’s almost like hunting them down which is somewhat hard to do being at an extension site in a different state. And when you do get a hold of someone, they have no idea what theyre talking about and I was also being told different things because nobody knew 100% what they were being paid to know. This did not feel like a university what so ever and I wish I saved my time and money because all honestly, this school seemed like a scam. The financial aid department also was a huge headache. They gave me an award letter and based on that letter I decided to attend the school. Months later, they changed my awarded amount without notifying me and I didn’t find out until halfway through the semester. I never received the refund I was supposed to receive and I actually ended up owing them money on top of the loans they already took from me. All I got was a sorry for not notifying me and although they accepted responsibility on making a mistake, I was helped in no kind of way. When the fall semester ended, I couldn’t wait to run out of there and go enroll in a real school that actually is helpful in some sort of way. Southeastern wasted a lot of my time and money and I hope whoever reads this takes this into account before deciding to go. Beware!Cheyenne Marie

Update 7.25 Finally there and super happy. In the end they are coming through for the Masters Program. Looking forward to parents weekend drop off. More posts to come. Update 7.12.22 I still love this school for my kid but have been less than impressed with my own experience getting into Masters program for Nursing. It's been a rough go with little to no communication. I hope its just because its a new program but a month out from when my daughter starts in fall and still know nothing about my program, what classes, cost or when it starts. I'll post an update when I find out more. I hate lowering my rating but have to due to my experience so far. Amazing campus. I went on a visit for my kid and I want to go. Update 6.17.22 This place is still amazing. My oldest is going there and I decided to do Grad school there. Hope to teach there one day. You want a place thats gonna love your kid and want the best for them. Look no further. We have visited several times before making our choice and its always the same no matter who you talk to. I studied business marketing here and graduated 2016/17. As a transfer senior, I get there were some complications. That said, it was a nightmare getting classes covered. Classes were dull, mainly because students don't engage much. Most professors were not open to much discussion or further exploration of topics, which was odd, especially with my experience at other universities. The campus is nice, but I found the education and experience desperately needing much more. I like the Christian feel, but even that is a bit off. To be blunt, students here are almost worse than the public university I was at. It's just got a cultish feel. This coming from a very strong Christian, just to clarify that perspective. Southeastern College offers the best Medical assistant program with the greatest professors, one of which to whom I am forever grateful. Dr. Brian Dickens is a wonderfully influential person who always leaves students ready to enter their career. He has helped open doors and provided me with the skills that allowed me to continue my education in the medical field. His friendly yet professional teaching style made the class very interesting and fun for all the students, not to mention he has a great since of humor that always gave us a smile in the classroom. The motivation that drives him to master a topic was channeled into building his students' interest and helping them understand the material. Overall, the experiences that Dr. Dickens motivated me to pursue, along with the skills he taught me in and out of the classroom, have now helped me to obtain my dream. I have read so many of these reviews and they compelled me to write one of my own. I was a student at SEC in 2016, where I pursued my career in Medical Assistant. My teacher was Mr Brian Dickens. Of a fact, Mr Dickens is one of the best teachers I ever had. He goes above and beyond to ensure that his students grasp what is being thought and he's willing and ready to share his knowledge and experiences. He makes his class fun and something to look forward to each day. Even after graduation he still sends us articles on how to be a good MA. He ensures that we are equipped for the job ahead. Because of this, I got a job immediately after my internship. I am still at that job..Way to to Mr D. Also, the faculty staff at SEC is the best. They are very helpful and make themselves available to assist in any area. I love SEC. So I started online in September of 2018, and transferred to campus classes in September 2019. I absolutely LOVE the small class size, and staff for the most part is awesome. Mr. Brian Dickens is a PHENOMENAL instructor, and it is obvious that he cares about his students. He takes the time needed to make sure that you understand the materials, and consistently stays active in everything that we are doing, including allowing us to practice on him to make sure our techniques are appropriate. I would recommend this school to anyone who appreciates smaller class sizes and teachers that care. There is definitely a sense of family within the classes, and it's awesome to have the same teacher throughout my time on campus. This summer I took my teenage son to the Lake Land College and just for the architecture alone it is worth the visit. We were disappointed that the main room was closed off due to repairs but that was certainly not the fault of the library. Each room we visited was a unique gem. My only criticism is that the volunteers in the front hallway were more interested in talking among themselves than in answering any of our questions. Indeed they almost seemed annoyed when I finally interrupted them after standing by the volunteer information table for several minutes without any one of them addressing us, despite no one else being there.Elnora Foston

Prepared me well to transfer to EIU. These are a few things that irked me – their int’l office director back then was amazing, but the current one messed up my sibling’s paperwork by giving inaccurate information. An excellent small community college, but not really good with internships necessarily though. If you’re looking for a great and affordable education, this is for you. I sent my residency information two weeks ago and nothing is in my file! Classes start today but I can’t start because they have tuition as out of state. Also they had to have my JU transcripts as if the credits transferred because of a policy. I’m no longer going to this school. It’s bootleg and ghetto. They are slow about admissions process and don’t reach out about what we need. Even in the student portal there’s nothing that said I needed anything or that my residency information wasn’t received!No Name

Online school at Saint Johns river state is especially a scam but all the saint johns state college schools are trash. Online classes besides a select few are all run through third party sources in which u have to pay hundreds for on top of the already pricey classes in which the teachers do not do a single thing but wait for weeks after to grade assignments that aren’t auto graded by bots it’s crazy almost like these online teachers have a passive incomeVan Rippon

Great school for a community college. I heard it’s the best around. Many students come from San Diego or from the North just to go here. They do a lot of things by hand (compared to other schools that do things electronically). The grounds are well kept. The parking is horrible during the beginning of the semester. More parking will be available as time comes. When you register for a class, you need to pay the same day or you get dropped. If you’ve dropped a lot of classes, the school might give you a hold because the classes are impacted. There is a daycare center. Parking permits and books are relatively cheaper than most.Aurora A

Good School. The campus is breath taking. Views of the ocean in the dining hall and surrounding areas. Tons of plants and trees all around, a great variety. Staff are helpful. Parking is a struggle, unless you don't mind parking in dirt lots but then it's not worth buying a parking permit. As for professors and academia, they could improve. Both my wife and I were returning college students and Stark State Alumni class of 2012. We both received a great education. She went for respiratory therapy and I went for Graphic Design. The graphic design program was wonderful. The professors were all very knowledgeable and really cared about their students (huge shout outs to Michelle Lash and Eugene Starr). The classes are small and it's very easy to schedule time with the professors if you need help or need to go over some things. It's also nice to have online classes if that's your thing. For the younger students (and older alike), Stark State also hooks you up with SALT at no charge after graduation, which is a useful tool to help find employement after graduation. Luckily I furthered my career without having to use SALT. The biggest recommendation I could suggest would be to offer more of certain classes. Sometimes only one class is offered a semester and can conflict with working hours. Thank you, Stark State and to all of my professors for giving me a great education and giving me a fighting chance in the workforce after graduation. For those who are seeking four year degrees and beyond, Stark State is definitely a great (and affordable) place to start.stephen slusny

I attended Stark State College a number of years ago when it was Stark Technical College. I am surprised by the negative reviews, because I had a great experience at the school. I graduate with a degree in Computer Technology, and the courses were challenging and taught me a lot. I still remember some of the great instructors like Mrs. McBride in my math classes. I even worked there part-time for about a year doing LAN Administration. They have provided me with a foundation for a very successful career in IT. I later completed my Bachelor degree at Kent State. I am currently completing my MBA. I was able to get a copy of my transcripts, even after graduating 25 years ago, by faxing in a request. I did this for two different Universities, and they arrived within a week. In this age there should be a way to do it electronically like Kent State, but at least they do not charge you for them. Overall I had an excellent experience and they prepared me for a very rewarding career in Computer Technology. I absolutely have no regrets about this school, and I enjoyed my time there.Kevin Frazier

I can not believe Stark State has less than 4 stars! This is my second semester and I LOVE it! The faculty are truly amazing and extremely helpful! This college also offers small class room sizes which makes learning more personal. Your teachers and professors always do their best to know each student by name. It is also extremely great for working folks who have busy work loads. They have many courses that can virtually work with any type of schedule. There are many success programs that Stark State offers, including assistance with any subject as well as a great Accommodations program for those with any learning disability/disability from minor to severe. Stark State also always keeps their students in the know through text message and emails. They give you the tools you need in order to succeed. Highly recommend this college!elisabeth brian

The administration is not interested in offering equal access to education for parents who are looking to get one. The college is not interested in reestablishing the on-campus child care center. Also the administration knew the science building chemistry hoods were not functioning properly for years and never let students know. The professors are incredible but if you are a mother good luck because the college doesn't care that in order to access education, women with children (those who require an education for a chance to improve their children's future!) need some equitable student services. Don't take my word for it scroll through the reviews. Most reviewers are male even though majority of students who attend the college are women. Read into it what you will but the facts remain that the college has a child care center on campus but refuse to renovate it even though property taxpayers agreed to pay for it (measure g 2004).Melissa Martinez

The college incorrectly listed me as a non-California resident. When I attempted to fix this, I found that I could not get in touch with ANYONE from the business offices. Eventually, they started having a debt collector call me because I wanted to sort out the residency issue so that I would not be charged nearly $1000 for my classes. This has been going on for months now, I attempt to call their offices almost every week and no one answers me. I'm beginning to suspect that they are just trying to force me to pay the non-resident fee so that they can get some extra cash. All in all, I have had a horrible experience with the administrative services, and if I could get on the line with anyone, I would have been happy to have paid the appropriate tuition months ago.Laura Israel

Overall, the colleges is good. However, other colleges are doing much better. $ stars for the efforts in trying to become better. Recently they have started to work on the new Gymnasium building. Teachers and professors are good but they are very diverse. The teaching style of all the teachers differ and they might not be ok with everyone. So choose your class wisely. Overall the crowd is good but sometimes you might find some not so friendly people. I am not sure about the safety. I applied to one of their online Master’s program and got accepted for the 2022 Fall term. Filled out everything, paid the app fee, paid for all of my official transcripts (this would have been my 4th degree), got to the advising appointment only to be told that all of my questions I needed to “look into on my own”….. I work in higher education and these are thing the advisor should have been able to answer. Then she tells me the code to look at classes after the appointment, which was odd, only to find out the two classes I was going to register for were full and she wasn’t even looking at them at the time of the appointment. This is not how advising is supposed to work. Since I have an existing Master’s I wanted to see if any of my credits could transfer in with a maximum of 6 credit hours. If classes wouldn’t transfer due to program alignment, that would have been fine. However, the reasoning was “ Since you did earn the degree with those courses, he doesn't feel that we can also use them to complete the MA degree.” I’m sorry, what??? To the people complaining about book prices- that has nothing to do with SCC as the prices they have books at are the prices the books cost to buy anywhere period. Yes you can rent from amazon or chegg but really a review about books has nothing to do with SCC or the education you will receive there. To the people complaining about credit hour costs- if you think $180 is too much per credit hour try a university where your classes are $400 per credit hour OR MORE and all your classes are taught by TAs who are literally your age and only have a Bachelors. My time at SCC was enjoyable and the professors were helpful and want you to succeed. That being said intro classes are easy and are high school level. Once you are into the 200 classes things pick up in difficulty as they should. The classes I took with SCC prepared me to succeed at a uni. As a local automotive business owner, I've hired several students from the Automotive Technology program without any making it past the 90 day probation period we have. After many years of unsuccessfully finding a qualified mechanic, I decided to start taking classes myself to fill my own need for a mechanic. I really enjoy the classes and teachers, but the constant policy changes make it near impossible to be successful. I tried to meet with the Automotive Department head, but unfortunately policies change from student to student. I'm sticking with it, but the problem is obvious now, and it really is too bad as there really are some good teachers in the program such as Tim Hunter. DO NOT USE SCC BOOKSTORE UNLESS IT’S LAST RESORT. It is aweful. Completely overpriced and non-competitive whatsoever. CHEGG.com is the way to go. There is one lady in particular in the bookstore who is aweful. She almost had steam coming out of her ears when I asked for the ISBN number so I could SAVE $240 by renting (that number is compared to their renting prices, not purchase prices!) my books somewhere else. She was extremely rude and basically kicked me out of the store. It’s not MY fault they are screwing students over. They’re already charging $181/hour for classes, so there is no reason to make a buck on books. I have proof of the difference in price as well. CHEGG all the way!George F

TERRIBLE!!! Tried for three weeks after moving 1500 miles across the country to attend after being told all paperwork was in order. Get to the keys and now cannot get one person to return my call!!! So frustrating!!!! Looks like i will not be able to attend until the Spring now. Guess i better get used to working for minimum wage for a few months. Not helpful at all and only about one person on staff at a time to help students. REALLY? You guys shouldnt even be considered a school. Try hiring som e folks that know what they are doing. Pursing a degree as a registered nurse. The campus is gorgeous. There are palm trees everywhere and it's located on the water so the views of the ocean are spectacular. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, from all levels. Staff in high positions such as the dean of nursing take the time to interact and get to know the students. Jared in the bookstore always takes the time to help you get the best deal. Destination catering runs the cafe and the food is delicious with great service. The program had one of the highest passing NCLEX rates in the state, and the college just approved a BSN program. FKCC has been nothing but fantastic.Carleigh Herrington

If you have a child with a disability, then this is NOT the place for your child. We thought it was, just like many parents thought it was. Many parents paid for certain services and never receiving those services. Nice campus but some of the staff and policies need to be changed. Most parents were told the cost would be close to $17, 000 and it was closer to $24,000 (that's living on campus with the meal plan). Some student mentors do a good job and some don't do anything, but the school will still charge you for it regardless. If your child has a disability, then you're gonna want to find another program and there are many out there.John S

Since they have instituted 6 sessions Columbia College has proven they are not about the students. By making this move they force students to take student loans or lose part of their Pell grant due to not being enrolled full time. They try telling their students that 6 sessions per year will benefit them. Being a student that is currently enrolled and have been for a few years now I can tell you it is of no good to the student. Not only does it cost us more but instead of having any type of break between already accelerated courses we only have two days off. This is ultimately going to lead to more stressed out students and lower GPA's. There was a time I recommended this College to everyone I came across. Now sadly I make it very clear Columbia College is the worst college you could attend. It is a joke. Rolla's new policy if we don't offer something you need in seat take it online. Not mentioning that not only are online courses significantly more expensive but the work that is required for these is beyond reason. I am talking at minimum double the workload of an in seat class. The teachers are great, administration from the main campus down is terrible. This is no longer a student centered college no matter what their website portrays.Sean Dahlman

I'm currently enrolled at CC. This is the best college I've ever been to. The faculty is understanding and very helpful. They actually care about your education. My advisor was by far the best. She helped me through some very tough decisions and helped me to make the best financial decisions. I visited the enrollment center 3 times to change classes due to my own reasons and all three times they were understanding, helpful, and encouraging. I also went to the enrollment services about my financial status multiple times throughout the year and they were always there to help. They showed me my financial plan exactly including scholarships, loans, and grants. They explained everything to where I could understand and even printed me copies of my plan. BEST COLLEGE containing the VERY BEST PEOPLE! The other reviews that had one star and rude comments, it's because of their stupidity and closed mindedness. I had a terrible experience at this school. I would highly recommend not going to this college. They do not care about how you as the student does. All they care a bout is your money. You will NEVER hear back from any of your online teachers. I tried emailing a teaching with a question 3 times and not once did I hear back from the teacher. If for any reason you need to withdrawal they will not except it. Even if you withdraw a day or 2 after the deadline, they will make you pay every cent, even if you had good reason for the withdrawal. If you want to attend a college that cares about your needs and your success I would highly recommend choosing a different college because the only thing they care about at this college is getting your money. Worst college experience. The clinical advisor is incapable of her job and pushed the clinical to a future start even though the CPR card takes one day to get but she decides to push it a whole week when we should have been done the day the quarter finished. The phlebotomy instructor is really rude and disrespectful of students and makes students not feel comfortable to speak up and if to ask a question she acts like your a child completely rude. I don't recommend coming to this college. Also the virtual graduation was upsetting to know I had sent my information and sent a photo and not even be on it. Really makes me unhappy to know I spent money and time to be treated as a student like trash and not get acknowledged for the hard work and time put into trying to succeed. This is a terrible college. It’s like pulling teeth to get anyone to email you back about important, time-sensitive information, and you get the runaround when they do. This happened when I was applying for admission, and is currently happening now that they’ve denied me, because they are incompetent, the certificate I worked so hard for. Because they changed the numbers on some math courses, they all of a sudden don’t count towards my certificate, and they lost the official transcript that I sent from my former college, and are denying my transfer credit. Man i had trouble here. Not only did they give me the wrong classes but it turns out i never had FAFSA to cover my classes. And they make me pay for them two years after I left the college. Thank goodness i never continued to study here. I know they have a lot of students to manage but still if you were able to catch that years later then why not then? I knew something was wrong here. I am in my sixth week taking online courses at MATC. I have chosen the IT Support Associate Degree program, for two reasons: One the program is only two years, I’ll be able to launch into the job market faster, and because IT is such a diverse, and fast growing career path, I know I will find a fit into the IT world upon graduation. I chose MATC because MATC is convenient and conventional. I can take classes online, at my own pace, and be on campus for the classes I need more focus and dedication to. This IT program combined with my 10 plus years customer service experience, I know I will be able to reach any career goal I set. Now, while my interest in computers and knack for problem solving I know this career path will be suitable for me, however, to any prospective student looking for a quick money type of career, this program is not for you. This program consists of lots of physical and mental work, also taking consideration of the customers you are serving. If a prospective student welcomes challenges and is comfortable with asking questions and not feeling intimidated by the mass amount of information you will retain then this is a program for you. Prospective students should also be aware that they don’t have to work or figure stuff out alone, one of my favorite accommodations is having access to tutoring, whether online or in person- at all campuses. Fellow future students should also know that acquiring their degree at MATC is a smart money move, students can save thousands of dollars getting their education here, as opposed to a four year college/university. Future students should also know that credits will transfer to a four year college such as MSOE or UWM.Britanni Hildenbrand

Information Technology is very informative program. This program breaks down a lot of things that can happen with computer systems. It is a to-date program. I choose this program because I want to go more in depth with technology. Everyone uses technology every day. I would like to be able to assist those who are not tech savvy. MATC I.T support program has a great path program. Pathway allows you get a few certificates take a break and come back for your diploma. Completing this program will give the knowledge and skill I need to become an I.T professional. Instructors are very helpful. Staff is friendly. My experience in MATC IT Computer Support Specialist program is limited but good so far. I chose to pursue this degree because it lines up well with my current work experience and career goals. So far, I have been able to take all my classes online with no scheduled class times, so I can complete assignments at my own pace without interfering with my work schedule. Another thing this program does well, is that it offers options to achieve many different certifications on your way to a degree. They also work with businesses to help their student get jobs after graduating. I would recommend this program to someone looking to get into IT Support as a career.Alexander Salas

The college is run by bunch of people who care more about how modern the place looks, not how well we learn. Spend too much money on new building and modifying existing buildings, but do not invest in qualified professors. This college treats foreign professors like dirt. I am taking two classes from foreign professors with high credentials and they are knowledgeable and very helpful. But these professors are put into terrible working conditions by over working and under paying. They work pretty much full time, but few minutes from their work schedule is cut to make them part time and save money for the college. In order to cover that time, fresh BS graduates with no teaching experience was hired, of course, without a formal interview. Is it even legal to hire unqualified people, even without an interview? Is this how a publicly funded college function? This place needs to realize that that our learning condition is our professors working condition.L G

Beautiful School, Staff, location and housing. I spent a few days on Camps for a Michigan Region Phi Theta Kappa yearly conference. I was extremely impressed. Everyone was delightful. The common areas throughout were definitely a plus. I highly recommend a tour. Also Handicap Accessibility. Great venue. 5 Stars across the board. Glen Oaks is a great community college! Coming from a small town they have a lot to offer at the lowest prices around. They offer a lot of scholarship opportunities as well! The health professors are simply the best. They help you in every way they can to help you understand the concept. I definitely recommend Glen Oaks to everyone.Delainy

I appreciate Rasmussen University for having an abundance of resources and many professors and other staff members who demonstrate they want students to succeed. I especially have enjoyed being a peer educator, being privileged to work with Tammy Hopps who is an excellent supervisor and leader, and also being able to work with other peer educators who care for their peers as much as I do. I transferred from a local state college, which I considered sticking with to save money, but in reality, not much is saved when you compare the timeframe for graduation. At the state college it would take me an extra 2 whole years to receive my BSN, whereas at Rasmussen I save 2 years of time because of their second-degree BSN option. I am very pleased with the quality of technology – at the state school blackboard and other resources were slow and did not work as well on my cell phone, whereas with Rasmussen I can easily access everything I need from my phone when I'm on the go. It's inspiring to see so many single parents and married parents in school, some of which also work full time or part time like myself while completing their degree. I had such high hopes when enrolling at this school. However my experience hasn't been favorable at all. I am a current student and I was disappointed because even though I was able to enroll and start classes I really felt unsupported on this journey. I'm realizing Rasmussen may not be the school for me. I REALLY thought I would be supported and encouraged. I was made to feel that Rasmussen would be rooting for me through my academic journey. Instead I am bombarded with emails and calls telling me what I already know… I owe money. No calls or emails about how I can be helped to budget so that I can pay more toward the balance. I'm only being told: what I owe, to get the balance down to $500-$1000 and to take out loans; which will only put me in debt and it's too early to be taking out loans when I've been in school since September of 2021 and have 2 more years. Also this school doesn't cater to single parents, limited income and individuals that HAVE to work. This school ONLY has day classes for the nursing program and as I said before I HAVE to work full time.Sherria Clark

This morning I called the university for the North Orlando Campus for the Nursing program and spoke to the director of Nursing who was discusstingly rude on the phone. I called to get information, He had no patience and told me Not to proceed a career in Nursing because it was Not for me. This was a university that I was so excited to be a part of and be a graduate of Nursing. The director needs to be Fired because he is giving the university a bad reputation. To whom it may concern please take this review into consideration and hire a new director of Nursing for the program.Georgia Conde

Great small college. At LCSC you really get to know the faculty and students personally. Most students in my program are in all my classes each semester. This let's you build close and lasting relationships with individuals going into your field. Professors care about students and want them to succeed. One down side is that there there may only be a single live offering of a class each semester in certain programs.Samantha Newell

I was very impressed by the professionalism shown by the women's athletic department, personnel. Both individuals answered all my questions and treated me with respect. Received my BS in Business Administration here, for a very reasonable price (by college standards) . Let's be honest though, $3,000 after books to sit in a classroom for 2 days a week per class – that seems a little steep. I feel that my education was of the same quality, or better, than I would have received from the University of Idaho or Boise State.Ryan Hermann
