Some student decided to order doordash from Virginia Beach Which was 18 minutes out of my way and then they couldn't even tip. all I got was the base pay from doordash I couldn't even buy a cup of coffee with that. If people are going to order food and have it delivered to them they need to learn how to tip Or you better get something that's close by because you don't order from another city and then you can't even tip. The good thing and what I *really* desire the most about the "Green" and "Gold," is that visitation, even when you are not invited the University allows you to break free and be yourself. I recently was enrolled in the graduate cohort for reading and writing. I have been teaching for almost 10 years and found most of the classes insulting. I felt I knew more than the cohort professors and learned very little new. Many of the text books were from early 2000. Considering the vast changes in LA recently, I felt many classes provided information that was not up to curent reading philosphies and/or research. The rubrics were so convoluted that the professors couldn't figure them out or they did not pertain to the topic. Many classes were spent going back and forth over the rubrics only to have them change again. Knowing what I do now, I would not waste the money, but would have done an on-line course for 1/3 the price.K Palmer

I am now a confident woman that isn't afraid to voice my opinion or share my insights. Great school for engineering and decent for nursing. Business school will depend on your work and the professors you choose(from 1-4 ⭐️). The support sucks. Try calling financial aid or student accounts and you know how living in purgatory feels like. I suggest you’ll go there physically even if you’re infected with Covid19 as you have a better chance of reaching them in person. If I could give this university a zero star, I would do it. As an international student, I have millions of terrible experiences with this university. The graduate school and the international students office have been really really rude. They will try to frustrate you using any way they could. Also, the insurance requirement for international students have been so unfair. They will charge you lots lots of money for the insurance for the summer time even though you are not enrolled in any classes during the summer. Also, the staff working in the graduate school have been so rude and know very little. Some of the graduate and undergraduate classes have been so meaningless and do not worth the money.yaqing cao

Atm a lot of construction is going around the university. Either adding new school building, dinning areas, or apartments around the school. The gym is great, great gym equipment, indoor track, and classes that you can sign up for if you do not like working out alone. Building are easy to locate but if you have trouble finding them people will be nice to direct to the correct locations. Baylor is an amazing school. For a few reviews before me we are not all "rich kids wanting to blow daddy's money" or "rude". I personally have a bad background that would not match the first statement. I am not rich. I am blessed to be in this university thanks to scholarships and my hard working mother. Baylor itself is a blessing. Its a rigorous school BUT very well worth it. I love being part of the Baylor community. Its a beautiful campus filled with loving people. Its not "perfect" because nothing is. There will be a few issues like yes there are some kids who don't care and my be rude or blow things off but really if you are a part of it you will see the majority of the campus and the people here are more than amazing and loving. This is a fantastic university for the liberal arts. I have talked to people from other universities and to those that have come to visit me at college, and all of them see a difference in the student body. There is just a different atmosphere. All the people are kind and welcoming and always willing to help in times of need. The professors are nationally ranked and are not only outstanding in their fields of study, but wonderful people as well. Even if you're not looking to go to college, its a beautiful campus to just walk around in. It's almost like a park in some ways. Just give it a visit and I promise you'll be hooked! I loved my time as I attended Baylor for undergrad, and grad school (2008-2015). The campus has changed so much since i first step foot in 2008 (all for the better). Baylor (and Waco) is in a resurgence/growth period. Its an awesome time for Baylor and Waco. I loved my time there even though I'm not religious (agnostic/theist). Great people (students and especially faculty), and community. There was a reason why I came back to get my masters at Baylor. They helped me get through some rough times, and i am better for it now. Biggest mistake of my life was coming here. Professor moved away putting my graduation on hold for years. When I switched majors to avoid this I was prohibited from getting anything but Fs by a biased individual despite another professor telling me I was the best writer in the entire university. The records department is extremely difficult to get a hold of and seemed to not want to help with issues regarding prior classes and transcripts needed to attend a senior college. I would not recommend this school, I am truly and whole heartedly regretful of choosing this school over all of the other options I had. Something about this school stood out to me, and the counselors here try really hard to get you in. I do not identify with Christian faith and I am not religious at all so I initially felt weird about going to this school, but they mention multiple times that they accept all faiths and backgrounds so I felt better. However, upon talking their forced “Christian Worldview” class, the teacher grades with an iron fist for a 101 class and is just awful. My GPA for sure was going to plummet due to this stupid 101 class that they force on you. Honestly it was so ridiculous that I felt the need to reach out to my advisor. I was trying to come up with a solution because I felt some type of way about this. I suggested them placing me with a different teacher, since this teacher has AWFUL reviews going back years yet they do nothing about it. However they pretty much told me I still had to take the class, I could not switch to another teacher (you cannot pick your own teachers by the way which is huge for me now). Their only solution was that “another teacher would review my work.” This turned me off so bad from the entire school that I ended up withdrawing due to principal which messed up my financial aid. They honestly did not care one bit and obviously know there is a problem but do nothing to address it. I was so turned off that I chose to mess up my financial aid and just pick another school, there was no way that I was finishing out my degree here after this. Go elsewhere !!Taylor

I am an Atheist. I chose this college because it had the focus I was looking for, the delivery method was fully online so I could continue to work, and the price was the best around. I did not feel like being of the Christian faith was a prerequisite. My instructors and professors were not pushy with religion, and for a master's program, I felt like I was able to learn what was necessary for the field I was in. I have a Master's degree and 2 focuses now from GCU and I couldn't be happier with my education and experience. Parking in Garage building#7 on 33rdAvewas the best for going into the areana. We had to checkin at theguard station, drive around it then enter the parking garage. Parking was allowed on the 2ndfloor and above. It was the AFHE homeschool senior graduation. The campuswas very green. The areana was building #38 there is a museum to JERRY COLANGELO here and a beautiful tripple cross monument. The restrooms are spacious and everything but the soap dispensers are automated. I graduated in Food Science at Colorado State in 2011. The education in the classroom and in life that I received while I attended university was life changing. I met some of the best people I have had in my life and I pursued my love for nutrition and food science while I was there. My degree opened up many doors for me in my career in the brewing industry and at the time the undergrad brewing course was one of the only ones in the country. I am so glad I attended CSU and I can say without a doubt my life and career would not be the same had I not gone here. My daughter and I visited the campus as it currently ranks number 3 for Veterinary Medicine. The staff was genuine, sincere and gracious. They setup one on one meetings to make the visit extremely personal. They appeared to have the students best interest at heart and even supplied a full day parking pass. The facilities appeared updated and state of the art. They were heads and shoulders above our visit at Texas aTm. The only prevention of a five star rating was partially our fault as we were unable to get a tour of the school of medicine.Andy Benavidez

I have studied in here as an international student for one year, but now I transfer to another college. The main reason is the reputation of the CSU college of business. The employment rate of international students after they graduation is so low, and I rarely find one get even an internship. The education I'm receiving at Syracuse University is second to none the professors are great and most of the friends I've made here are Syracuse University students friends that I will probably run into later in life the friends you make here are Syracuse University students from around the world, and some here in your own hometown, friends that you will make for life the professors are great they give you the tools you need for success in today's economy and in life and your own personal success. My son is a recent Syracuse grad. From his first campus visit he felt a connection to this place. From his first day as a freshman through his last day at graduation, this school has given him great classes, amazing professors, lifelong friendships, travels to London, two final fours in four years. sleeping out in the cold for ten days before the sold out Duke game and many epic memories in the Carrier Dome. Syracuse University has so much to offer that smaller schools just don't. The campus is really nice and very well maintained. The finacial aid is great. Extremely racist school. I attended here for 3 years (2009-2012). It was a legacy of my family to attend and graduate from here and I regret it. Not only did I not graduate, I felt unwelcomed as a Native student. I even participated in Native student organizations and spent a lot of time at the cultural center because that was the only place I felt comfortable and accepted. South Dakota is just a racist state all around. I regret listening to my parents. I should have went to the school I was also accepted and had really wanted to go to. Went for one year and never went back. The general required classes are similar at other places, but other places actually care about you. I went to another college before this one, and USD refused to allow me to transfer the credits because they were from out of state. The admissions were nice, but whoever decides what credits transfer couldn't care less about you if you come from out of state. Their biology department needs major help, because they had to change teachers often and even hired one who couldn't speak English. As a 4th year student who will be graduating in Spring 2018, I will be terribly sad to be forced to leave such a terrific school. UGA has provided me with all the opportunities I could ever want. I was looking for a college that would have all the resources I would need in order to go to Optometry School and UGA has exceeded my expectations. This morning I went to enroll in fall semester after spending Friday Saturday and Sunday online all to no avail. Even after answering all the questions correctly to try to recover my fasa I'd and password with the help of several girls in the financial dept no luck websites and the toll free number in customer support for fasa were just a recording. This college needs to be audited. I am currently a student here and have had such a poor experience with the financial aid office and business offices. Students don't receive their financial aid until 3-5 weeks into the semester (Keep in mind that the college takes their part out right away). If someone was relying solely on financial aid to buy books and other necessities for school they would be so far behind before receiving their aid. I also received a tuition waiver that ended up not being honored, and was not informed about it until classes already started. Something weird is going on here and students are being set up to fail from the start. Beautiful campus off a not-so scenic main thoroughfare (Baltimore Avenue). I attended for one short semester and it was nice to return and see all the progress and development that has occurred over the years. Numerous new buildings including campus dining and resident halls. The campus tour we attended for my child was long, and they still have covid protocols required for visitors, which is a bit bizarre, but not entirely surprising, since the State of Maryland always thinks it's on the cutting edge of progress. Also surprised how dead it was on homecoming weekend, and the students we did see wandering on campus do not wear their Maryland colors. A bit disappointing.Avalus

From my experience till now UMD is an amazing college with an even amazing staff and infrastructure. Orientation for students are very important and UMD makes sure they have proper ones. The college is really big and is like another city in itself with everything possible available. It will take time for you to know your way around. Classes are equipped with the latest tech. Lecturers know their subject and are very approachable. These few words wouldn't justify everything about the college. Make sure you do your own research. Really nice room. All the lights had mood settings and automation. The scenery was very modern and clean. The bathroom was nice and it had some amazing views very comfortable hotel would definitely visit again. My only recommendation would be maybe having some kind of microwave or something available in the room. If I could give this school zero stars, I would. This University is a full on corporation. They do not care about students one bit. All they care about is the money. Most of the teachers really do not want to be there and the staff(bursars, finaid, VA, etc..) are not on the same page. They do not seem to have any information about anything, even though the job they were hired for is to be able to provide that information. I have two separate experiences with this place. First, I applied to use my VA benefits, I think in 2013. The lady gave me an excuse about, since I was Pre-Business I couldn't get it. So I had to withdraw. The next year I applied and I was able to use it with no problem. So I basically had to postpone going to school because someone lied or just didn't care to do the proper research. Second, this year, 2016. I started school for the spring and I decided I was going to go ahead and take out loans to finish school. So, I took out a loan to pay for books and tuition. I was waiting for my check, because we were heading into the 3rd week of school and I needed my books. So I called the Bursars and Finaid office. Bursars told me that they automatically add the loan to the tuition. I said, are books not a part of tuition and the girl said yes, but I think you would have to talk to the bookstore about that. Worng! So, I went and withdrew from my classes again and filled out the proper forms to decline the loan. Then, I went onto my loan account and realized UTC had taken some money out of the loan I declined to pay for the classes I had already withdrew from. School is an embarrassment and now I have to find another school outside of the city to attend.Kc

I graduated from UTC back in 2015. The campus, city, and outdoors is why you come to UTC. They are all beautiful. However, once you look on the inside is when you find the bad. I never felt like i had any good professors who truly cared about their students except for two. The administrative side is a nightmare; constantly being transferred to another person or department, often times talking to someone who is annoyed because you called. The college DOES NOT CARE ABOUT YOU, only your money and they will do everything they can to exploit it. The best part on the inside of UTC is the maintenance and food court staff. They know students by name and make sure you are doing okay, unlike professors and advisors. My friend just warned me and i will help warn everyone else. if you are barley over the white line just a few inches then you will get an automatic ticket. whether a truck and SUV can fit vs a smaller vehicle that is in there. the campus needs to let people go for their first offense if they did not know the situation was going to become a big deal. in spite barley over the white line. it is much worse than city tickets and will not accept appeals for first offense of this situation. be aware of the way you park. parking is not so bad at other universities and this happen to be one to enforce it even though he was barley over the white line.gregory smith

Atfter 3 years… Word to the wise, more often than not, you never crack open that 100, 200 something dollar book. A quarter of the professors are great people and go above and beyond and are the positives of the university. Another quarter are there and go through the motions, pretty average and that's fine. The rest are communicationally and emotionally compromised and feel the need to be dictators of their classrooms and go on emotional rants unrelated to material, are professors that have checked out because retirement is around the corner, or are teaching assistants in their early 20s and have no idea what they're doing and rush through so they can get THEIR work done. Parking is a mad house the first half of the semester. I've spent an hour trying to find parking and gave up, I've been threatened and screamed at, dealt with aggression and almost hit by cars. It's not like I felt safe on campus anyways or in Springfield for that matter. The school enrollment is growing faster than they're willing to keep up expecting more and more from professors and give less and less to those who pay the continually raising tuition.Steph McCarty

I myself have had a horrible experience at MSU, but I won't let that account for the school as a whole. If you are considering entering the Computer Information Systems program, you should really consider another school. The instructors in the program are currently abysmal. They are working hard to improve the program, but for now you will learn at a pace and challenge level much less than you would even get at OTC. The College of Business in general felt like a degree mill, in my opinion. As for the rest of the campus, it really is great in every way. You can do almost anything you need right on campus easily. The Foster Recreation center has an awesome pool and great selection of workout equipment. The library is also top-notch and has a great selection. I have a feeling that if you're pursuing an education in non-technical subjects, this would be a great school for the money. If that's not the case though, I highly recommend you seek a better business school elsewhere. Springfield has a hard time retaining talent, and you'll find little of it in the more technical departments at MSU.scott knox

BUYER BEWARE: You'll be fine at MSU as long as you don't complain about any lack of teaching pedagogy in your classes. As a student I have had a Jekyll and Hyde type of experience here; some professors include direct instruction (in a number of modalities) others do not. I was told verbatim by a professor; "I'll do what I want and no one can tell me differently". Another professor, on three separate exams, gave no feedback and in a class of 16 students had four A's with the rest, B, C, D, F, range and didn't change his "Educating" the entire semester. One other professor who had given out continual C's and B's – said he didn't need to teach for "Mastery" of the topic – he only needed to give "Students a shot"… Keep in mind professors are experts in an area and not teachers – that is do not have the training and education to teach, to reach students. Spent one and a half years here where it could’ve been one and a half years spent better elsewhere. Please, this is an extension of high school. Find your education and college experience elsewhere. I live near this college and me and my wife and kids love to take walks threw it. It's so beautiful and peaceful. Also you have campus police always around so you feel safe at all times. And the bell tower is a nice sight to see. But hearing that thing go off at 11:00pm at night I could go without.Shawn Dronet

Loved my college experience at UB. Quality academics, quality student life. There is great diversity which will help you with life after college. Food is good, not great, but what do you expect when you are cooking for the masses. Wish people cared more about the athletics. They have made north campus and the apartments surrounding it nice. The alumni base from what I can tell is Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse, NYC, Chicago and DC. I also love the city of Buffalo. Downtown offers a lot to do for a mid size city.Joe Segrue

This place is like a palace. Massive, I visit it there on a trip. It took me about 3 hours just to walk around the whole school. Also visit the inside as a visitor. Its a amazing university that offers many course. Lot of friendly people. Adviser will always help student even though their is a lot of student. Amazing Lab as well. Spent few of best times of my life there doing my undergrad and masters (1991-1995). Could never wish better finance school, great summer times with fruit picking seasons and Niagara Falls is only like 1 hr away. It's my alma mater, so I'm biased. However, I must say that campus is gorgeous and very student-friendly. There are areas to rest and relax. Wonderful wooded areas and picturesque locations along Jordan Creek to chill and hang. Buildings are very beautiful, and full of history. A wonderful place to go to school.Natalia M

Wonderful university to attend. I love Indiana University. My only regret was not going there all 4 years in college (transferred there). IU is ranked in the top ten for many majors. My years there were my favorite years of my life. It's such a beautiful city, with so many trees, flowers, gardens, and limestone castles everywhere you look. There's a romantic feeling in the air and a youthful energy about the city.Calico Jack
