Solid school. Easy(ish) to navigate. Some of the buildings are far apart and depending on your classes you might have only 10 minutes to go all the way across campus. The staff is friendly and try to help anyone navigate the school, so don't worry! Each building is clearly labeled and maps are everywhere so it's hard to get lost. There's tons of socializing areas and seating for different gatherings. Some of the popular places would be the courtyard with the fountains or the large hill in the center of campus. The campus also has a variety of food options, so whether you want smoothies, coffee, pizza, pastries or a salad there are options all around!Zena Krimzon

They have no idea how to teach what you will need in the state of Kansas. They will use other professors lectures and do not want to answer questions or teach you. So yeah if you want to teach yourself from a book and have a bunch of assignments due constantly this is the place for you. You will find yourself googling topics and watching YouTube videos to learn it. Multiple (at least 3 that I know of) people in my class complained to the chair.C

I am taking a welding certificate so I can work in the welding workforce. I want to work for the olathe railroad welding force after college. Then maybe do some underwater welding I have not quite decided. If I do I have to take a scubadiving class to get certified in that. Service was great, but not happy that my cleaning is taking up 2 half days. Dont understand how we use to go & get a cleaning within a 4 hour period & now it's taking 8 hours to do. My son Graduated from Coastal Bend College today. It was held at the gym. It was crowded, but everyone was nice. It was air conditioned and i felt comfortable. The ladies Bathroom was clean. Everything was organized and ran smoothly. So proud of my son!Monett McHazlett Ermis

My Business Administration Management class was amazing, I learned so much and I am carrying it with everywhere I go. Some people do not like it and so do. My instructor was so brilliant and I am so proud and thankful for him. With his support and all of SJVC workers, instructors, and all around everyone, I was able to get threw this pandemic we are still having and graduate with a 4.0 and being on the deans list. This college should be closed. It is unorganized from top to bottom, from admissions and transcripts to financial aid and registration. Teachers do not teach anything just say read, they miss lots of classes without any notice to the students. I also feel they do not like Caucasians there! There is no respect for anyone (I'm from another country and I was shocked when I saw this). I was taking the MLT program it was a horror. The teacher Miss Stephanie Bell does not teach anything at all and will not answer any questions u less you make an appointment. How rediculous is that? You can't ask I question in her sorry excuse for a lecture where she gets paid to read straight from the textbook! The whole class had very poor grades, no one was passing this class. But in the middle of the semester magicly the students had the answers to all the test I assume Miss Bell gave the students the answers to the tests and exams because she was in a bad situation. Of course, no one gave me the answers because I am white. This college is awful I left it and am very happy. This is a garbage hole it needs to be closed.Maryna Klochko

If I could give this place negative stars, I absolutely would. I was treated POORLY. I can't think of a worse word to use. The absolute worst professors, doubt any of them have degrees themselves. The material was SO different than the tests for all but math (I took 2 biology's and a medical terminology). I may have wasted 2 semesters here because I have trouble saying I even learned anything. Barbara Hollis, biology professor, was the WORST woman I have ever met in my life. She failed numerous times to help me and other students and was just plain ridiculous, having no understanding for her students and was too full of herself to help her own students. She thought she was "too smart" and felt it necessary to mention her sad accomplishments every time a student doubted her or asked for help. I love the professors. Temple College is lucky to have professors that have doctorate degrees to teach. As a students, we are lucky to pay a junior college price for access to PhD 's. Those are the professors I choose from when given the opportunity in my degree plan. The business management of the junior college could use some training in customer service and fully understand the job they do. I have learned to always have my military files with me since the files have a tendency to be lost every other semester. I never knew that I earned the President's List or the Vice President's List awards until they announced it at my graduation. Student life is hampered by lack of support from staff and lack of student interest. I hope that this college will continue to grow, take on a supportive/student oriented attitude, and attract the quality professors and staff the college needs to grow. I look forward to my tax dollars at work showing improvement and multiplying to better serve the community.Jane Smith

I loved this college. I met a lot of really great people while here, but more importantly I felt the teachers were fair and prepared me to go to University. Also if you are not part of TRIO you should go there. I spent a lot of time there and met really good people like Debbi Owens, Tina Marsh and Cecilia. I would do my homework there and receive help and tutoring. It is a wonderful thing for the College to allow students to access programs like these and I am hoping that more people can create programs like these. I was in their nursing program and I passed all the exams with mid Bs. My clinical instructor made up many violations and forced me to accept them. She further used those violations to give me very low grade (25 out of 91) on my midterm evaluation despite the fact that I was never late for clinical and I handed in all my paperwork on time. It is obviously discrimination. I had to withdraw from the course because you can not fight discrimination with hard-work. I will give it a minus star if I can.Chun-Wei Lin

buses and parking are nightmares here. No parking or you will have to pay everytime you park including weekend whereas other schools often free. Buses always late and full. The school not even tried to get more buses. Also, there is 40mins wait between 2 buses. Finally, unequal opportunity for on cambus job or help. We came to many departments and asked for help but they rarely tried to solve but kept saying we could not do anything. And we came back multiple time and the other did help us out. I enjoyed my time at UNT, made some great friends, and I have good memories. However, this University is not longer a place of higher education but a political activist training ground. I never thought that I’d see the day that The First Amendment would not be honored at UNT, but that is what has happened. And to think I have a degree in Criminal Justice from there is similar to being trained as an EMT by Dr. Kevorkian. The Grad program is a joke. I've never met more people incompetent of doing their job. The undergrad school should conduct training with the grad school to get them up to par. Because they dropped the ball, I now get stuck with their issues. Also the elderly lady working in billing should take a phone etiquette class. We are in 2022. There shouldn't be this many issues consistently happening. Yet, the undergrad side was on top of every single aspect. This school is literally the worst, they take all day in the advising office and registration office. They will have one or two people helping more than 20 people and you would think that would make them have a sense of urgency but they do not. They all act as if they don’t feel like helping you and move so damn slow. I received 2 parking tickets during the time I have attended this school because two hours in a meter is not even enough. The best advisor is Shannon, the rest of them act like they don’t care and will not give you any guidance when your new to college, some will over talk you and not even pay attention or listen to what you are saying to them. This school will literally make you not want to attend college at all with how difficult they make the process. I am here at the college registering for my classes for the fall and have been here since 1:00 it is now 4:00pm smdh. If you plan on coming here make sure you have a whole day to spend here!!!! I was suppose to be taking classes here last year but wasn't able to log in. I had a meeting and asked for help and she said she couldn't help me for some reason…I ended up texting & emailing people for help but they eighter didn't reply or said they were going to help me but then ended up not communicating back. I managed to call tec support and they said website was down. Few days later they called me & said they were going to put me on a list and since then I haven't heard anything. I feel like putting a bad review I’m currently trying to see a councilor here at El Centro I came Thursday before 5pm and they told me it was closed but on the website they close at 5pm. Come to find out today a staff member told me they closed an hour early because they were having a spring break party. Today I’m trying to speak to an advisor I’m the only one here sitting in the lobby still waiting for someone to help me. I used to love this school but honestly service has gone down the drain. My teen had an appointment under DR Saba Memon. She practices cookie cutter medicine. I feel like she is following a checklist. She told me what my child is diagnosed with, and she will only start treatment if I jump through hoops, and make more appointments. I left feeling like she does not care at all about my child. I came for help and she refused. She discounts what the parents say and think. She is very dismissive and the other doctors disagreed with her. She did not take what they said into consideration. UT health should do something about her. I asked to speak to her supervisor and she inferred that she has no boss and her word is final. She told me he has ADHD, and I can provide documentation from his PCP and his therapist. I would like to know how to file a formal complaint. This level of care is unacceptable. I was seen at the neurology clinic at the University of Texas Health Science Center when I was considered a candidate for neurosurgery. I had to have a few tests performed before the neuro-surgery to make sure I fit all the criteria and that the brain surgery wouldn't have a catastrophic effect on me. All the neurologists I worked with were excellent, supportive, thorough with the exams and explanations, and very nice to me and my family. I Would highly recommend to others, especially when it comes to epilepsy treatment.S-man Colly

I really enjoyed the MA program and I learned so much. Something that I really appreciated about the school is that we had ALL the resources we need for certification studying–and all of the professors are extremely knowledgeable about their fields and gave plenty of tips and tricks for how to maximize your potential in the field. The biggest reason I'm sticking to four stars is that I had a pretty bad experience with one of my professors and I don't agree with some of the attendance procedures–having no absences excused unless the school cancels classes isn't reflective of an individual student's situation (I know this first-hand), but all-in-all, it's a nine month program, and the amount you learn and experience completely outweighs the poor aspects.Kendall Eley

I can only speak about my experiences here at Pima but I can honestly say it’s been life changing for me. I’ve completed my Registered Dental assistant program and I’m currently half way through my Radiology program and all I can say is that I’ve had nothing but good instructors in both programs. They really push you towards succeeding and the classes are well developed for you to learn. The prices are a little over the top but seeing how it’s a institute it’s expected. I am currently on the MA program, and it has been a pretty good experience. I am able to have time to study and also work and balance everything else with it. The team of this school is very professional and really care about their students, they are always willing to help you if you need help from them. I really like that they even have tutoring to help you if you struggling in a class. The financial aid department is horrible. The chat for financial aid never answered my questions. They always told me to call the number. What's the point of having chat feature if they can't answer questions. Speaking on the phone with the financial aid department was a horrible. I've been given the run around regarding aid. People kept telling me that I qualify all I need to do is enroll in another class to be part time. Then, I was told that again I would get a Pell grant and loans. I didn't receive aid so I contacted them a few weeks later to find out that I don't qualify for aid. They had me enrolling in courses and everything knowing that I potentially didn't qualify. The financial aid department is either incompetent or just doesn't care about the students. When I was told I was approved were they just making that up to just get me off the phone?Amanda Chandler

This is my first semester at Lone Star and it has been nothing but problems. The student staff are very rude and unhelpful. The front desk financial aid has no idea how to do her job. The book store and the campus are not on the same page. I won’t recommend going here if this is your first semester of college. It is extremely hard to get help from staff. I had to go speak to a counselor there and instead of them taking me to the back to discuss my business they came out to the waiting area and blurted out what I needed to know. In my opinion this was very unprofessional. I didn’t want my personal business being discussed in front of everyone. Please find students that are familiar with their job and are helpful. My daughter went there 2015, 2016 & 2017 after graduating from Humble High in 2014. She wasn’t able to get a scholarship for tennis so the plan was to take courses to raise her gpa and transfer her credits to a four-year college. I’ve had a bachelors degree since 1992 so I know the process. The advisor didn’t want me in the office and my daughter was okay with that. I found out after a few semester that she took math three times and flunked it. Her self esteem is shattered and she doesn’t feel confident that she can transfer. They couldn’t even give the paperwork so I could report her on my taxes. I lost thousands in tax rebates, they are the WORST!!!!Bruce Hickerson

He made the admissions process such a breeze to gather through. The program is definitely challenging but so worth it. Very poor experience receiving record information for my hometown dentist following a root canal. I was told wonderful things about the college and was very disappointed in the staff working behind the desk and with paperwork. I’ve called 3 times to kindly ask them fax over X-Rays within the last month. I have signed release forms stating they can release that information to my current dentist so that I can get a cap put on said tooth and have had no response. I got an infection following my root canal and called to ask what steps to take in order to take care of the infected root canal as I was nearly 25 weeks pregnant when it was preformed. No call was ever returned when I left my message. I ended up in the emergency room here in my hometown the following night due to excruciating pain in my jaw. Simply said, the work they do on teeth is great. The infection was no big deal, and took care of itself after being issued a round of antibiotics from the ER staff. I do recommend their students and think it’s a wonderful program. However staff and people taking care of records and returning calls is either very understaffed or lazy. Everyone should be informed that the college of dentistry will not prescribe pain pills after having twelve teeth pulled at once. And they will not tell you this until you ask for them. The information given is not consistent from one student to the next. My husband had twelve teeth pulled and spent thousands of dollars and he was told to take ibuprofen and Tylenol. So if you prefer barbaric dentistry and plenty of pain then go ahead and make that appt otherwise I recommend you spend the extra money and go to actual professionals. And Vicki, the client care rep, doesn’t really care that you are paying the school thousands of dollars she will still speak to you like a child. I believe we are suppose to be patients(clients). You should appreciate the priveledge of people allowing you to use them as guinea pigs. And not treat people like they are low income peasants. It might not be as expensive as a professional but we are still spending thousands of dollars. This just confirms what I’ve always thought of dentists. I’ll never go to another one. I got referred from Blustem for a root canal. Previous to that, I got referred from Admire and was told by Admire that UNL would call me back for an appointment. Three weeks later, they still didn't call me back, so I called them. They never called back. Today I called as Bluestem made me a new referral and was told that I was dismissed from the dental college for not keeping and making an appointment! whay6?! They told me I had an appointment in September that I missed. That is false. I was nwver contacted aboyt an appointment!1 Ugh. I'm currently having one of the worst experiences ever! I was completely unaware of being enrolled in online classes once the pandemic started. I never spoke with anyone or confirmed this was ok. I specifically chose on campus classes due my struggle with specific subjects. I was unaware until an instructor contacted me. I emailed advising and was removed from the class I was still charged and a hold was put on my account. I have never talked to or discussed classes with anyone for the fall and i am also scheduled and charged for those classes as well. Now i'm told i have to file an appeal to try to have the balance and the hold removed and i cant remove the fall classes until the balance is cleared. Every time I speak with anyone i'm forwarded to someone or a dept. that cant help or explain!Christi Chavis

While I'd love to give a better review, I have to be honest. If you are utilizing veteran services, prepare for a ridiculous amount of wait time. There's never anyone online via chat and when you call if someone answers, it becomes a series of transference to different people or "I'll have someone contact you." This poses an issue as a current student attempting to be successful in class. I am finding it impossible to get a return address for a delivery I received containing 2 bottles of your CBD oil and 2 packets of the CBD gummy bears which was delivered to me by Hermes. I initially wanted to cancel the order but was informed that I could not. I did not realise the total price of these items and then my shock at finding out I was calling USA as I am in Scotland UK. Thank you so much DR. Bhakta and staff at BRUSH Modern Dentistry !! I was earnestly seeking a good honest dentist to treat and replace my crown. A family member reached out to Dr Bhakta who kindly fixed an appointment for me in his busy schedule. I was warmly greeted by the smiling professional staff at BRUSH Modern Dentistry. They had my paperwork ready and after a few minutes ushered me into their clean attractive treatment/operatory cubicles. The assistant went over my history and main concerns, took x-rays, photos etc and had all the information ready within minutes. A confident Dr Bhakta followed shortly, reviewed my medical records and after careful examination provided me with a detailed assessment and options. After patiently addressing all my questions as well as pro and cons of the different options, we landed on the conclusion that, following a root canal, the tooth was good to save with a crown. Following my root canal treatment by an endodontist, I returned to Dr Bhakta. He carefully assessed the root canal treatment and being satisfied, set out to build the tooth and prep for the crown. I am free of pain and now look forward to replacing the temporary crown with a permanent one in a few weeks. Dr. Bhakta and Scarlett were so personable and very professional as well. This was my first visit and certainly won't be the last. All of my family are patients of Dr Bhakta and have all had great experiences. He was prompt, had cutting edge technology and his office was very clean and nicely decorated and comfortable. I haven’t been to the dentist in years and I was on the lookout for a dentist and I chose Dr. Bellingham based on the reviews. I completely agree with all of the reviews I have seen. Each individual in the office is kind and welcoming. The office and workspace is clean and hygienic. I had two visits these past two months for a general check up/cleaning and tooth filling. Dr. Bellingham is thorough with everything and answered all of the questions I had. He assured me that any concerns I had were nothing to worry about and the visits were quick. Before paying, I was given a complete breakdown of what my insurance covers and there was complete transparency. Dr. Bellingham is the best dentist I have ever been to, and I’ve been to many. When I first started seeing him I had so much anxiety about going to the dentist. I have been put through the ringer by other dentists. He was so warm and welcoming. And his assistant Jen was so friendly and personable. A few years later and he is still the only dentist I will go to. He explains everything to you in great detail and makes sure you understand everything. I am a student in the MOA program and my experience at concorde I would say it has been amazing.The staff are always willing to help the students to help them succeed and answer any questions they have.If anyone ever has a bad day Stacie and Mari are always open to donating some of their time to the students and help them talk about any issues that they need help with in their personal life.The instructors are very aware of their students and make sure that each and everyone is passing their classes.If you need to find a job in order to survive while attending school Ms.Danielle is always open to helping those who need to find one.Since my second MOD I have been a member of the lamplighter program which is a student leadership program where students help one another including their peers in class and help mentor them as well as help them in anything they need.We lamplighters are always at the service of students and staff if there is ever anything they need help with. The dental hygiene program here is absolutely wonderful. Our teachers and program director are amazing. But I am giving two stars because of the issues I’ve had with financial aid. It feels almost impossible to get an appointment with them and everything is so confusing. I understand everyone is short staffed but I have been trying to get ahold of my financial aid person for a month. Not only are they hard to get ahold of but they have said things such as “you need to get a job” if we ask to take a loan out for living expenses. Don’t they think we would get a job if we could? The program is full time there’s absolutely no time to get a job. I’m honestly just hurt that they treat us that way when we spend 73k on this program.Leah Broyles

I took a night class. The instructor always wanted to go home early. so instead of teaching us hands on, he just read over the instructions. When i and several others in my class took the tour, they said we would practice on dummys before we drew blood on each other. They lied. "The equipment doesnt work" is what we were always told. Towards the end of your last mod they crammed both badge tests and extern sites. We weren't notified if we got into our externs until the last day of class. Really nerve recking to the students who had to quit their jobs or try to notify their jobs of the schedule changes. The extern hours change constantly.Heather Gallagher

This past Fall was my first experience with the clinic and I can't say enough good things about my care. From the instructors and students, it was a great experience. The attention to detail and thoroughness is something that I haven't experienced at a dentist appointment in a long time. Just keep in mind that it can be very time consuming, and there may be a lot of appointments due to requirements the students must meet and what you need done. IMO, it's worth it for the level of care you'll get. Not only are the students great, but everything is gone over to make sure it's 100% and up to standards. I’ve been going to Pierce College Dental Clinic every 6 months since 2017. I’ve had such thorough care and treatment I ended up changing my daughter’s dental care to Pierce as well. I love that they take Provider One dental insurance because it is extremely difficult to get into other providers with this type of insurance. I would 10/10 recommend making that call to schedule an appointment. In regard to COVID, it shows that they make safety a top priority! You won’t be disappointed 😁 Kei Rainbolt

The most detailed dental exam of my life! Most people don't know Pierce College has a dental clinic where students practice their skills under the supervision of licensed dental professionals so if you're looking for high quality affordable dental care, this is the place! The appointments are longer than those in a regular office but the different assessments are very detailed and you learn so much about your oral health and how to improve it. This is a career field in which has great job security as it is a job that is very much in demand and needed in society today as long as people still have mouths, gums, and teeth. Therefore, this is a great option if one is considering a career. This was one of the best decisions of my life and I am glad I went to this school. The transition from graduating to obtaining a job only took me two weeks and I was able to obtain a job during my first interview. The instructors are more than adequate and are very attentive to their students' needs. They are very clear as what is expected and required of the student in order for success. The program may be intensive, but the instructors are there to help the students succeed. There are no bad questions when trying to learn. The instructors here genuinely care about their students and their student’s success. They are very passionate about their profession, more than sufficient, and highly educated in their occupational fields. They helped me with job placement and even helped prepare me for the interview process. Being a recent graduate of Texas Academy of Dental Assisting, I can assure you that joining this program is going to benefit you in many ways. TADA only lasts 3 months! That means your next big career step can happen within weeks of you joining this program. Along with having lecture every class period, you also get to participate in hands on training during clinical. I was more than pleased with my instructors at Texas Academy of Dental Assisting. Not only were they informative, but they were also extremely personable. These instructors made class so so enjoyable. Between my instructors and my classmates, whom I have made great friendships with, I looked forward to going to class every week. Graduating from TADA felt extremely bitter sweet. Although, I was proud of myself for making it through, I was sad that I would no longer see these familiar faces every week. It is such a wonderful experience to spending 3 month with Texas Academy of Dental Assisting. Love the course setting that letting me gain clinical experience ahead of time. It is such a good starting point for a career changer like me. It’s not that easy to get into the field without any knowledge on things like what a dental office needed or what a dental assistant’s life like, especially under the COVID. TADA gave me the chance to learn and getting familiar with all of those procedures, terms, and requirements as I worked in an actual dental office. During that period of learning, I can have a big picture of my future career and able to put all my effort to the right point instead of on a wrong path. I love all my peers my teachers and staff, and definitely Dr. McDonald and Sheila. They are experienced and full of joy and kindness, always willing to answer my random questions and help me practice procedures with grateful patience. My insurance pays for N2O and composite filling but Dr. Patel gave me estimates with those charges in co-pay. When I questioned the estimate and co-pay, he canceled all the appointments with my family with excuse that he is not feeling trust. In fact, since I figured out that estimates are not correct and overcharged, he choose to cancel the appointments instead of fixing the issue. Dr. Patel, please bring transparency, ethics and empathy into your practice and you will start to feel the trust!Praveen Srivastava

I have been going to Dr. Vimal Patel @ Prosper Smiles Family Dentistry for several years. Even after I moved out of Prosper. They are top notch! They do a great job of reminding you that you need a teeth cleaning and then reminding you when it is. They offer their own family dental insurance as well as state of the art equipment & cleanings. Prosper Smiles Family Dentistry was an amazing find when I moved to the area. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The hygienists do fantastic work and are gentle and attentive. Dr. Patel is wonderful. He engages with his patients, listens to their concerns, and explains clearly and knowledgably. The only reason I placed 2 stars is because the dean and the man who enrolled us was great. But other than that,the reviews for this school is spot on. They care only about money. After financial aid,I was told I still needed to pay 221.00 a month or my daughter would be kicked out. The lady who assisted with FA couldn't care less about anyone who goes to this school. And don't have colored hair either,they'll make you change it. When my daughter could not log in to the online course,no one bothered to help or contact us. I had my daughter withdraw. 18,000 dollars and not even a call back. So I'd shop around for a school and make sure its best for you. This one tho,was not it.Katt T

When researching schools and you read “for-profit” as Concordes main description- believe it. I was accepted into the dental hygiene program and was asked to put a down payment of an amount that was almost 5x my rent. I was considered an “independent student.” (no financial help from family) As soon as I communicated the amount was not doable the school redacted my acceptance and gave my spot to someone else… so before you put all your time, money, and effort into this school-don’t. I cannot speak for the program itself and I’ve heard nothing but great things about the instructor… but at the end of the day that doesn’t matter if Concorde is “for-profit” and not for education.Emilee Gestes

Please do not go to this school. The instructors are very disrespectful and do not teach anything. The purpose is to fail you so that you can pay again since you have to retake the whole semester. The first term had a 30 students class and it went down to like 12 of us. This term everyone is failing so far because the term 2 teacher is random and does not go by the book.There are around 5 students in term 5 which is the last term and most of them have repeated at least one term. I am looking into other programs. Stay away, it is easy to get into the program, but you won't learn anything and NCLEX passing rates are low according to the instructors.Kukita Arocha
