Jennifer Neibling is an absolute delight, she in an angel of an admissions advisor who has helped me constantly for several weeks and makes sure to stay on top of my case (even while she has her hands full with countless students!) she is professional, sweet, caring, kind, optimistic, and motivates you to be the best you can be! To be completely honest, she is one of the main reasons I want to attend Plaza. I have never seen a program/admissions assistant so eager to assistant you in making your career goals become reality. She has guided me throughout my entire admission’s journey, and will no doubt continue to help me progress through school. I visited as a new patient for a student dentist. It’s a new building with new equipment and most importantly clean environment. Everything takes much longer for a full overview of me teeth since she’s a student being examined. It’s nothing like having a normal dentist visit. She checked my blood pressure, pulse, even sited a small mole on my neck and gave me skin awareness and skin cancer advice. Then neck and jaw was checked and each tooth’s gum is measured and then x-rays! This was all done under the general supervision of professional and thorough Senior Dentist. Then time was up! Being a student at Plaza College was such an amazing journey! Starting in the Career Pathways Program, I worked my way up to earning a high GPA with the help of my amazing professors, peers, and faculty staff members. Additionally, participating in Student Life activities gave me the push to further my education in the Associates AND Bachelor's program for Business Administration & Management. Plaza College became a second home for me. I earned an amazing step as becoming a member and officer in the English honor society, Sigma Kappa Delta. I went to Delaware County Community College part time for four years after high school. It's one of the best decisions I ever made. I really didn't know what I wanted to do right out of high school and I didn't want to go to a super expensive university and still not be sure. I started out with general studies. I just finished my Liberal Arts associate's degree there this past spring. I enjoyed my time at this school. I got to take a lot of different classes to really figure out what I like and what I dislike, and it's way more affordable to do that here. The campus is beautiful, especially the STEM center. There's lots of helpful services and the professors I had were great. I'm now transfering to another school to study graphic design and I feel like DCCC helped me get on the right track. The cost isn't horrible and the classes are similar to classes offered by four year universities. The problems I have lie with the administration (financial aid, career center, cashier office.) They do not know how to deal with students in a timely, concise manner. I was unable to get in and complete a single course for the last two years due to administrative problems, even though I had been with them previously. I went here from fresh out of high school from 2016-2019 and graduated there with my associates. Such a Beautiful campus and I had a very great experience at DCCC, I’ve had some pretty good professors during my time there although some did seem to only be there for a check. During my time here I was also in the KEYS program and they have such wonderful staff very helpful and friendly. Manor College is a really great place to get started with many, many different programs to get your foot in to the door and get wonderful experiences in any field you are thinking about going into. Its a smaller campus, so you get to know people a lot faster. Classes are a wonderful size so you don't feel crowded, and it makes getting to know your teacher on a more professional and personal scale. The staff at Manor are the most wonderful and helpful people you will ever meet, they actually get to know you and make sure you are staying on track of all of your assignments, and staying on track with courses so that you graduate on time. Manor has a wonderful basketball and track team, along with many other programs such as Student Senate and CAB (campus activity board), which I joined my first semester and plan on joining again. They have many, many different activities that they plan throughout the school year to make sure everyone is staying involved and getting to know other students and make new friends. They are very inclusive with many different types of people and talk about many different types of religion and ethics so that everyone gets a chance to feel special and then the other students stay more informed about other people lifestyles. Our president, President Peri is the most wonderful man you will ever meet and always make sure you are doing well, and getting to stressed and when ever you see him he makes time to just catch up with everyone and get feedback about everyones lives and classes. I have nothing but good things to say about my experience at Manor College. The beautiful campus hosts the bright eyed individuals seeking to further their education and the dedicated faculty and staff do their best to provide an excellent experience for all students. The small class sizes foster strong connections in and out of the classroom, and almost everyone gets to know you by name. One would think that a relatively small school wouldn't be able to pull in talented professors and bright students, but all of my professors during my time here have many experiences and are amazing at what they do. The campus life office is dedicated to everything that happens outside of the classroom, and they have so many events for students, some of which I have been directly involved with, and you can tell that everyone deeply cares about what they do here. Manor is going to grow exponentially in the future, with a fantastic new President in Jonathan Peri, a man with a vision so great and connections so deep that Manor will most likely become not just the premier two year catholic college, but one of the premier four year catholic colleges. My son graduated from Manor College a couple of years ago. It was a very positive experience for him. He has ADD & Aspergers Autism; he didn’t want to tell the faculty so that he was treated the same as any other college student. The staff here is very easy for a student to talk to & gave my son any help he asked for. My son graduated with honors with his associate degree in accounting. For a small community college it is wonderful. Beautiful campus with a creek running behind the dorms & has resident Canadian geese which wander freely on the campus. It is located in the suburbs outside of the Philadelphia area. The college is affiliated with many other colleges & recently has started to offer bachelors degree programs besides their associate degree programs. They are known best for their Vet Tech program & their dental programs. They have their own farm & community dental center which are great for the students practical experiences.Evelyn

Are you a working individual looking to earn a degree? Don’t go to Harrisburg Community College. This college uses Technology that is not easy to learn and I am good with Computers. Want to speak with a Advisor, well my advisor lives in South Carolina so I can only conduct a meeting via Zoom, the college is taking ALL personal interactions away. And working individuals…well i hope your not trying to spend any time with family and friends because I leave my 40 hour week job and I do school work for 5-8 hours a night and on my weekends. Forget about spending anytime with my wife and three children….I am taking 3 classes. Don’t ask the teachers a question, they just refer you to the syllabus…well clearly I am asking you a question because I didn’t understand it. I am military, yesterday I had duty and i didn’t get my project submitted, I logged in tonight to submit the project and the instructor removed the instructions, and locked the drop box so I couldn’t submit the assignment. I could keep going but I don’t have time…if your a working individual, don’t fall for the things they tell you.William Bricker

If I could give this institution a lower than one star rating, I would. For a community college, the course costs, books, and fees seem to be immense. I had professors who took half or more of the class periods to talk about themselves, personal topics and politics. I’ve also had professors assign English paper topics about personal things and I imagine he laughed at the student’s papers later in his free time. The required intro to college class professor had us playing with popsicle sticks and jars of rocks and sand. The certifying official for the VA office submitted my paperwork incorrectly. I dropped my classes and incurred debt because of how poorly the education at HACC is. They seem to be all about the money and not the education or students. I can’t even request a transcript for my new school because of “debts” to HACC. I no longer live in Pennsylvania and I am now attending a MUCH better school, and I am very glad. I would never recommend this school to anyone. This is not a good school, don’t waste your money and time.SMK3181

Most professors are nice but my overall experience was bad. I went here to try to accomplish a 2 year degree but every time course selection came around they didn’t have the classes I needed so I got stuck taking hardly any credits each semester. The majority of advanced classes are online only. They offer almost zero advanced courses in a classroom. So happy I made the decision to transfer. Not to mention how every time I scheduled a meeting with an advisor it either got cancelled without notice or they changed me to a new advisor who could not give me a single piece of useful advice.Kate

Pretty nice mid sized place. Everything is so Gothic looking. Seems like a nice safe place to be for students. There are emergency call buttons all around and it's a quiet mix sized place. They have their share of high tech and old tradition. I thought the place was beautiful in general and they seem to have a lot of options for students like overseas study, internships, while also being somewhat local to the Philadelphia and New York area.Thompson JT

Attended a baseball showcase at Legacy Park on Lehigh's beautiful campus. What a great college stadium tucked in the hills of Pennsylvania. Lehigh was a wonderful sports complex on top of being a top flight school.Robert W

Where to start….. re-enrolling for business admin after a degree in admin. Pretty sure any of children in the children's center would have been better advisors than the first one I had as she passed me off to admissions, had no idea what she was talking about, and downright REFUSED to help me enroll in classes saying she "doesn't do that, you have to do that online but I can show you how on this computer." The next day the second gentleman was a little more helpful but again, got nowhere. Advising hold, needed a specific advisor for my program [he was the one to tell me that] but he at least got me a name. Meanwhile another advisor is emailing to set up an appointment [not the one I needed]. I contacted the one I needed, I'm not even eligible for that program due to a pre-req not being met [hours of time being wasted to find this out fyi]. Get in touch with the one that has been reaching out, my advising hold was magically lifted, no one claims to have done it, register for classes other guy cancels his appt, make payment #q all good now….. fast forward 2 weeks it's time to make payment #2. I go to the Bursar's office only to be turned away because the Bursar's office does not accept payments 😳😳. I'm starting to remember why I took an extremely long break and a long time to get my degree . I'm even contemplating paying the out of county fee to transfer up to LCCC…..Katie Fitzpatrick

Beginning of Fall Semester 2021, I was a P.T.K. honors, full scholarship recipient student here working on my second degree until I was profiled by one of the female EMT instructors who though it would be a great idea to complain to an armed police officer that I was in the hallway outside the classroom my oldest son (also a student at NCC) was attending. The officer (extremely nice and professional) instructed me not to wait for my son in the hallway anymore since one of "the female EMT instructor's" complained about me for waiting in the hallway, doing nothing wrong, but waiting for my son. The situation was quickly neutralized after showing the officer my credentials revealing to him that I myself am a EMS Chief as well as a NCC Student. The Fowler building has constant video surveillance on every floor if NCC staff wishes to investigate. This took place on the 3rd floor of the Fowler Center Building. I have since transferred as a result. I will no longer be attending or sending any of my children to NCC. Posting this now because of possible retaliation towards my son and I being NCC students at the time.John Rivera

On Friday May 31 2019 I did a self-guided tour of Northampton Community College. This was my first visit to this spacious campus. The campus is located about ten miles from downtown Bethlehem in a suburban almost country-like setting. The campus looked very modern to me. I walked through the sports building and there was a fitness center which was closed that day. Not sure if the school has a pool. There is also a north campus across the street. Student housing and Alumni Hall are located here. There are many parking lots and the school has its own campus police force. I cannot comment on the school itself since I did not go here nor do I know anyone that did.Richard K

I am a 1983 graduate and I felt that my educational experience at Muhlenberg was excellent. It is academically very rigorous and challenging, but also socially responsible while providing a very family-like atmosphere. I have had opportunities to go back to the college recently and the changes to the campus with the new buildings and facilities along with the academic upgrades were truly impressive. Muhlenberg to me should be high on anyone's list looking for a top notch education in a supportive, tight knit academic community environment.Anthony Ware

On Friday May 31 2019 I did a self-guided tour of Muhlenberg College. I was impressed by the building's architecture. Every building has a red door. I wondered what the significance of that. I find that college campuses make for interesting photo subjects and Muhlenberg College is no exception.Richard K

Very poor experience receiving record information for my hometown dentist following a root canal. I was told wonderful things about the college and was very disappointed in the staff working behind the desk and with paperwork. I’ve called 3 times to kindly ask them fax over X-Rays within the last month. I have signed release forms stating they can release that information to my current dentist so that I can get a cap put on said tooth and have had no response. I got an infection following my root canal and called to ask what steps to take in order to take care of the infected root canal as I was nearly 25 weeks pregnant when it was preformed. No call was ever returned when I left my message. I ended up in the emergency room here in my hometown the following night due to excruciating pain in my jaw. Simply said, the work they do on teeth is great. The infection was no big deal, and took care of itself after being issued a round of antibiotics from the ER staff. I do recommend their students and think it’s a wonderful program. However staff and people taking care of records and returning calls is either very understaffed or lazy. Everyone should be informed that the college of dentistry will not prescribe pain pills after having twelve teeth pulled at once. And they will not tell you this until you ask for them. The information given is not consistent from one student to the next. My husband had twelve teeth pulled and spent thousands of dollars and he was told to take ibuprofen and Tylenol. So if you prefer barbaric dentistry and plenty of pain then go ahead and make that appt otherwise I recommend you spend the extra money and go to actual professionals. And Vicki, the client care rep, doesn’t really care that you are paying the school thousands of dollars she will still speak to you like a child. I believe we are suppose to be patients(clients). You should appreciate the priveledge of people allowing you to use them as guinea pigs. And not treat people like they are low income peasants. It might not be as expensive as a professional but we are still spending thousands of dollars. This just confirms what I’ve always thought of dentists. I’ll never go to another one. I hope this isn’t the way your school is teaching students to treat their patients.Georgia Lee

I got referred from Blustem for a root canal. Previous to that, I got referred from Admire and was told by Admire that UNL would call me back for an appointment. Three weeks later, they still didn't call me back, so I called them. They never called back. Today I called as Bluestem made me a new referral and was told that I was dismissed from the dental college for not keeping and making an appointment! whay6?! They told me I had an appointment in September that I missed. That is false. I was nwver contacted aboyt an appointment!1 Ugh. I highly recommend Dr. Ari Forgosh, and his professional staff, at Green Hills Dentistry. From the moment I walked into the office, I was welcomed with warm smiles and professionalism. I was especially taken aback when Dr. Forgosh sat down with me to address my dental concerns. He was very thorough during this initial consultation, which gave me the sense that he was genuinely concerned for my well being. The office itself is immaculate, high-tech, and extremely well organized. I cannot say enough good things about our family's experiences with the dentists, hygienists, and office workers at Tencza & Pugliese Dental. Our latest visit was for my 3 year old son – his first dental cleaning (and our 4th attempt with him at a dentist office!) He is a very anxious patient, but his hygentist, Lauren, could not have been more brilliant with him. She showed him every one of her dentist tools (which he was in awe over!) and made him giggle by showing him how to press the water button on the spit sink. She made him feel at ease immediately and he opened his mouth for her right at the start of his exam! I was in complete shock as he has never opened his mouth for any of the other dentist offices we have tried, which included tears and screaming. Dr. Pugliese, with his naturally calm nature, made my son feel equally comfortable and relaxed. Bravo to the entire team at T&P!!! Simply incredible. The most thorough dental exam I have ever received. Lauren (the hygienist I had for this first visit) is absolutely awesome. Dr. Tencza is thorough, patient with my many questions, friendly, and I instantly knew I was in a chair at my new dental office. The whole staff says hello to you even if you are not dealing with them. Office is very nice. Parking on site, no need to drive around for a parking spot on the street. I had a surgical placement for my dental implant today. First, Kristen is amazing, put my worries at bay by explaining things in detail and making me feel confident about the procedure. She’s knowledgeable and very comforting. As for the procedure itself, I was out of the office within an hour and over 12 hours later have not experienced any pain. Today was my first visit at this office. From my first phone call with Janaida to when I arrived they were all there with friendly smiles. I initially had an appointment made for next month, but I had to come in quickly because I had a dental emergency. They were able to see me that morning. Needless to say, I was terrified because I hadn't been to a dentist in practically a decade. However, my anxiety levels dropped dramatically in a very short time thanks to how kind and gentle everyone was. The receptionist, Janaida, is very polite and pleasant. The dental assistant, Dayana, is a sweet person and made me laugh a couple of times, which definitely quelled some of my anxiety. Updated review from a year or so ago. The secretary at the front desk is not friendly and has treated me with disdain ever since I started going there. Just recently, I had to call and repeat myself to her several times to ask why I never got a call for my 6 month follow-up appointment. And her unapologetic response was, “Oh well, you’re only a month overdue.” So that was her response, and she still never answered my question. I have always put off dental work do to anxiety regarding dental procedures. The Quakertown office is in a nice building with lots of parking. The office staff is amazing in every facet of the business. I have finally found a dental office that I feel comfortable with. Dr Patel is amazing and he did 2 extractions easily and painlessly and I had no discomfort and only had a few tylenol after as a precaution. Rachel the dental assistant is an angel and went out of her way to keep me comfortable. I have 2 more visits and my mouth will finally be fixed after years of neglect. This place is fantastic! I saw them for a cleaning a few weeks ago and they were very nice, and unfortunately found a cavity on my x rays. I had it fixed tonight, which was my first ever filling, and I had a very positive experience! The dentist was very friendly and calmed my nerves. They numbed me with a minty cotton swab and I didn't even feel the Novocain shot. They made sure I was fully numb before beginning the procedure. After that, the cavity filling process was fast and I didn't feel a thing. No discomfort and definitely no pain. I prefer dealing with smaller businesses whenever possible. This outlook has served me very well again. The owners of Evolve dentistry are the folks you will be dealing with. They as well as their staff are personable and professional. I received a new crown. Pain free was a big bonus. Could not have been better. I’m terrible with names, so I don’t remember which hygienist I had, but she was great! It was my first time going to the dentist since COVID started so I had a lot of cleaning to be done. She did a great job and gave me breaks after working on the more sensitive areas of my teeth. The dentist was really nice too! I am usually hesitant to see any male doctors, but he was very friendly and personable. I will definitely be continuing care there. 🙂Hannah Leary

Full review: From patient experience to price (yes your insurance factors in but even the pre-insurance rates were low, IMO) to flexible scheduling – this place is a real gem. I chipped a tooth, and they were able to get me an appointment in less than 24 hours. They specifically keep a few appointments for truly urgent needs. The Doctor, front desk and dental hygienist go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. Dr. Dave has a warm bedside manner. I found College Hill Dental last year when I needed an emergency extraction. They were able to get me in quickly and were so kind and took the time to explain all parts of the procedure…while it was happening. And…I felt no pain during the extraction. Their facility is top-notch as well as they use the latest technology and equipment. I was back in the chair today and Dr. Dave took great care of me! The assistant even asked me what kind of music I wanted to listen to during my visit as they try to make you as comfortable as possible while you’re there. I’ve referred a couple of people here and they have been equally happy with their care and service. I used to hate going to the dentist. No more!!M Gold

The best teeth cleaning I’ve experienced. My hygienist and Dr. Brittany/dental assistant, Melanie were FABULOUS. The teeth cleaning was very thorough and informative and Dr. Brittany and Melanie were an amazing dynamic duo with performing a filling for me. I am a new patient and am so happy I’ve picked College Hill Dental. They were also VERY accommodating with my request for teeth whitening trays for my upcoming wedding. I received a quick appointment and the trays/whitening serum are in already with a thorough explanation on how to use. Fell on my face and thought I might have fractured my teeth. Carollee got me in immediately and they attended to my emergency with kindness and professionalism. Marylou provided sympathy ❤️ while Dolly worked on the X-rays. And while my teeth were ok, Dr Lambert thoroughly looked them over and then carefully and painlessly put a couple of stitches in my lip. They all definitely deserve some homemade chocolate chip cookies! 3/23/22 Another “surprise” visit to Dr. Lambert for a broken night guard! I am a gagger when it comes to taking impressions. Nicky, the assistant, did an expert job and I didn’t gag👍!! I am eternally grateful to Dr. Lambert and his wonderful staff for giving me the help I need for the third emergency in 6 months! The moment you walk in, you're warmly greeted with a smile, by Gina at the front desk. She's extremely pleasant, does her best to schedule my appointments around my limited availability, due to my work schedule and her follow-up is remarkable. Gina's mother, Marylou is the practice manager and together, they are a dynamic duo. Dr.Lambert and his staff are amazing!! Dr. Lambert and his staff are amazing. I first went to him for an emergency situation after my previous dentist retired when I still lived in PA. I am now driving 2 hours from south Jersey to continue being a patient there. They are so accommodating and they always make me feel comfortable. Just like a lot of other people, I hate going to the dentist… Not here though. They made me feel comfortable from the first moment that I got there. The entire staff is helpful and very friendly. After my initial examination they sat down with me and worked with me to get the work done that I needed. I've never in my life had a better experience at a dentist office then here. They actually remembered my name when I came back!!! LOL. I usually don't do the whole review thing. However, with my immense disliking of going to the dentist office these guys are getting one. I'm 40 years old and have been to my fair share of dentist. I'm telling you. This office and staff are by far the best I've ever experienced. Very friendly, personable and professional all wrapped into one. They work well with my insurance and feel like there prices are better then most. This will be the last place I ever get my teeth worked on. The search is finally over. I've been coming to this Smile Exchange for about a year now. This place (the staff) have been the absolute best. I have always struggles with the dentistry aspect of things. They have been compassionate, empathetic, gentle in my care.
