Terrible job relaying information to students regarding Coronavirus Policy. Unclear rubric and guidelines on the website, causing unknown violations to students. Also late notice on many restrictions regarding the semester. Made sure to collect our money before notifying us that most of the classes moved to online, and housing policy was given after rooms were selected and failed to notify us of living restrictions prior to move in. This late notice causes misinformation and misleads its students.Tim Harper

Gettysburg College is a great place to receive your undergraduate education. Most professors are Ivy-league educated and classroom size is small. The campus is beautiful. The facilities and amenities are top notch for a school Gettysburg's size. Plus, the cafeteria is among the best in the nation. As an alumni, I would recommend Gettysburg College to anyone who wants a strong, applicable liberal arts education. It has served me very well in my professional life.Daniel Cianciarulo

This review is for the Apple dorms. Attended a program here and was placed in the Apple dorms. Share the dorm/apartment with 2 other respectful ladies. The dorm.was overall ok, but they NEED an elevator!! Carrying 2 suitcases up 3 stories was death! Carrying 2 suitcases down was OMG! Plus, I had tge room in the attic. I had to carry my stuff up the most steep stairs ever! They had me sign a waiver when I got there and now I knew why. Add an elevator!!!!Vanessa Diaz

To all the high school freshman posting reviews and rating AMDA 5 stars stop. You do not go there. Do not give it a bigger head than it already has. Attended in 2013-2014 would have been one star if it weren't for some (a few) wonderful teachers. (Stacy Lee, Kathy, Jeff, Tim,and Ray thank you) I am posting this review because they just posted an instagram post about 13 reasons why. They said check this out help is available. Would have been nice if that was ACTUALLY TRUE. However, if you have any sort of mental health problems you are told to grow up! (By teachers AND THE DAMN COUNSELOR) you are told stories of how the show must go on fake it til you make it. If you cannot stop crying you are weak, and theater is just a hobby for you. The teachers name drop and make you feel bad about yourself for not being Jason Derulo.The only person who helped me get help was my acting teacher (god bless him), who sent me to the counselor who told me I was acting like a child and that I need to prioritize. "If this isn't for you you don't have to be here" I told him this is the most depressed I've ever been. No offer to find therapy near me. No weekly meetings. No follow up visit. He suggested I find a new dream. So I did but now I'm 25,000 dollars in debt after 9 of the worst months of my life. Like others have said AMDA is what you make it but if you have any sort of mental health issues don't count on getting any help. PS. The dorms have a large scary roach problem, pretty sure it used to be a mental hospital (how fitting) PPS. I can acknowledge that I learned a good deal in my acting and VPS classes. I joined AMDA NYC back in 2021 Fall. This school has changed my life. Incredible staffing who are all working professionals within the acting world and all are incredibly motivated, fun and inspiring. My time at this school has been nothing but positive thus far and, the school continues to get better and better. I have done my own reading into reviews and the bad reviews have definitely changed. I have seen things change here, I have seen things become progressively better for the students here at AMDA. AMDA has become much more of a supporting and safe environment for not just me but for everybody who needs it. You certainly learn a lot here, develop great connections with your teachers and get plenty of opportunities out here. I myself, am certainly glad that I chose this school. My daughter just graduated in Sept 2017 from NYC in dance. She had a very positive experience from start to finish! Starting with Elliott Kerr, Assistant Director of Admissions. Elliott did a nice job of answering all our questions and helping get all our paperwork completed. Our daughter loved all her teachers and has said through out her program, "this is the right school for me." Are you a working individual looking to earn a degree? Don’t go to Harrisburg Community College. This college uses Technology that is not easy to learn and I am good with Computers. Want to speak with a Advisor, well my advisor lives in South Carolina so I can only conduct a meeting via Zoom, the college is taking ALL personal interactions away. And working individuals…well i hope your not trying to spend any time with family and friends because I leave my 40 hour week job and I do school work for 5-8 hours a night and on my weekends. Forget about spending anytime with my wife and three children….I am taking 3 classes. Don’t ask the teachers a question, they just refer you to the syllabus…well clearly I am asking you a question because I didn’t understand it. I am military, yesterday I had duty and i didn’t get my project submitted, I logged in tonight to submit the project and the instructor removed the instructions, and locked the drop box so I couldn’t submit the assignment. I could keep going but I don’t have time…if your a working individual, don’t fall for the things they tell you.William Bricker

If I could give this institution a lower than one star rating, I would. For a community college, the course costs, books, and fees seem to be immense. I had professors who took half or more of the class periods to talk about themselves, personal topics and politics. I’ve also had professors assign English paper topics about personal things and I imagine he laughed at the student’s papers later in his free time. The required intro to college class professor had us playing with popsicle sticks and jars of rocks and sand. The certifying official for the VA office submitted my paperwork incorrectly. I dropped my classes and incurred debt because of how poorly the education at HACC is. They seem to be all about the money and not the education or students. I can’t even request a transcript for my new school because of “debts” to HACC. I no longer live in Pennsylvania and I am now attending a MUCH better school, and I am very glad. I would never recommend this school to anyone. This is not a good school, don’t waste your money and time.SMK3181

Most professors are nice but my overall experience was bad. I went here to try to accomplish a 2 year degree but every time course selection came around they didn’t have the classes I needed so I got stuck taking hardly any credits each semester. The majority of advanced classes are online only. They offer almost zero advanced courses in a classroom. So happy I made the decision to transfer. Not to mention how every time I scheduled a meeting with an advisor it either got cancelled without notice or they changed me to a new advisor who could not give me a single piece of useful advice.Kate

I graduated in 2004 and I absolutely LOVED York! I loved the size of the classes and personalized attention you recieved from the professors (I was even tutored by one personally!) the professors really take their time to guide you and to make sure that you are understanding the lessons. The tuition was affordable especially for a private college!! The social life was awesome too. Tons of fun frats & bars to go to. The parties were always so fun and the drinks were always super cheap! I lived on Jessop Place, which wasn't the safest street. But to be honest, if you want to live off campus, you are taking a risk. Living on campus is great but when I was there, it was a dry campus, so I opted to live off campus my Junior & Senior year. The house I lived in was robbed once (we left the door unlocked, which wasn't very smart) but other than that I didn't have any issues with my house. All in all, I would say York was a great experience, and you better believe that I will be highly recommending my children go to my Alma Mater. 🙂Catie Jones

I will be graduating from York College in the winter of 2013 with a degree in History and I cannot say enough about YCP. I love the experiences and the faculty at York, all of my history professors are published authors that are very involved in their field and conduct international trips at least two times a year. I have gotten a lot of great feedback about career choices from my academic advisor and from the department as well. The growth on campus, of buildings and students, is impressive. York College is currently building a new business center and has a dedicated 10 year growth plan for buildings and enrollment. I'm sure some people have had negative experiences with the school, and people at the school, but I have had a great time learning and growing at York College.Suzi Burt

Update Jan. 2018: I’m disappointed to see that the graduation ceremony has changed little since I left 10 years ago. The school still utilizes a giant circus tent for graduation, and organization for the event as only minimally improved. The overall experience of York College is an outstanding one, but the graduation ceremony still requires improvement. **I graduated in 2008 and I must say, the only thing about York that I regretted was not having a football team to cheer for. Aside from that it was a good experience, solid professors, and overall a good education.Bryan

My experience at the Barrow Group has truly helped me not to give up as an actor. After moving to NYC in 2009, my very talented friend recommended that I take classes at The Barrow Group. I trusted his recommendation because he was very knowledgable about the class options in the city. I am so thankful that I found the Barrow Group!! I really missed my theatre community from Graduate School and the Barrow Group became my NYC home base. I have taken four classes with Lee Brock and I have learned so much from her. She helped me go back to the beginning…back to those years before all of the training…Lee helped me go back to the 'Story.' She helped me to focus on what truly matters…telling the story! The teaching style of the Barrow Group is extremely accessible to actors. You can get a feel for the teachings style by reading Seth Barrish's book "An Actor's Companion: 99 Bit of Craft." I am starting my fourth class tomorrow. Obviously, I love this place. The teachers are friendly, down to earth, and REALLY know their stuff. It really is amazing, the learning curve, and how much you do learn during just one class, let alone three. The teaching methods are so great, it makes you almost feel like what you have learned should have been common sense. I've attended one of their shows (so far), and it was really an inspiring experience, with just superb acting. I had studied for many years with some of the best and most highly regarded teachers in the acting community but it wasn't until I found the Barrow Group that I felt I became a good actor. Seth Barrish has created an astoundingly simple approach to the work that makes acting fun again. And truthful and real. He and his co-artistic director Lee Brock have created a wonderful home for some of the most passionate and talented artists I have ever had the privilege of working with. I took the 1-year online screenwriting course. In theory it sounded perfect for me, since I wasn't in a position to go to school full-time. I had high hopes. On the positive side, I did learn the basic principles of screenwriting. Also, I finished a first draft of a film script, which was pretty cool. The discipline of meeting weekly to report on my progress helped me achieve my goal. I wish my review could end there, on a positive note. But on the negative side, I found the instructor extremely rude to anyone who didn't agree with their opinions 100%. The person often ridiculed students and dismissed their contributions. The surly attitude shut down conversation more than once. I have a Masters degree, and have been a student in several schools as an adult – and I have encountered only a few instructors as abrasive as this person. (That's saying a lot, considering how arrogant many professors are!) Also, the instructor was late to class more than once. To be fair, the person did make it up, by extending the classroom time. Still, when you've arranged for child-care, it's a drag to sit and wait in front of your computer, while your instructor fumbles around, making half-baked excuses why they were late. I have kids at home who play the same tricks in an attempt to evade their responsibilities, I don't need my screenwriting instructor doing the same! Worse yet, the instructor once shared personal information about their family of origin that was unnecessary to the classroom context. (We paid a hefty tuition fee to learn screenwriting skills, not to hear sad facts about this person's childhood. Hey, we all have a few sad memories about childhood! Get over it! An online classroom is not the place for a paid instructor to share personal memories). I would have been more sympathetic to their plight if they had been a nice human being from the beginning. They weren't nice, so I'm not sympathetic. Finally, the instructor went back on a promise they had made to me during a classroom session. Another student hadn't come to the online class, and we were scheduled to read their script. So I volunteered to submit my rough draft – with the understanding that I could re-submit my script once it was finished, for another classroom review. The instructor agreed to those terms – but went back on their agreement a few weeks later. When I questioned the instructor about it, my concern was dismissed. So, I copied the transcribed conversation in which the instructor made the promise. They replied that they were way too busy to give each student individual attention! (Then why make the promise in the first place?). My poor rating is entirely based on the habitually unprofessional conduct of the instructor. The actual course content was very, very good. Had someone else – with a good work ethic, a sense of punctuality, and a commitment to personal and professional integrity – taught the course, then I would have given NYFA a perfect score. So, although I'm indebted to NYFA for helping me acquire basic screenwriting skills, and giving me the opportunity to complete a rough draft, I found the personal conduct of the instructor a very serious obstacle to the learning experience. My suggestion to anyone who wants to enroll in an online screenwriting course: – Make sure the educational institution has a professional code of conduct – Make sure the school holds their instructors to that code If you can't afford the cost of tuition: – Buy a good book on screenwriting. It will give you the exact same info about skills that this course provided, at a fraction of the cost – Enroll in a writing class at your local community center, where you can find like-minded people who will hold you accountable as you write your next project -Keep writing! Don't give up. After a number of years, I continue to uphold my opinion of the school.Robert Widdowson

The (limited) number of students that actually care is the only reason this school gets 2 stars. I attended the Masters Cinematography program in Los Angeles, and I am here to tell you that for that program- I can't speak to the others with as much in depth knowledge- the school is a joke, and serves to print money for itself. I was to attend for two accelerated semesters, and during the first, I found work doing what I was going to school to study and basically checked out mentally. When time came for my second semester, I had done very little for my classes, and went to our instructor to tell him I was leaving. The part that confused me was when he said that I was one of the best students in class, which made me laugh, as I had been working on set for the proceeding two months, hadn't attended class, or screened any projects for the class. I pointed out these facts to him, went to the bursers office with my story, and within 5 minutes I was holding a check for 40 thousand dollars: a complete refund of my tuition for both the previous semester, and the upcoming semester. My question is this: if they don't know they are scamming all their pupils, why were they so eager to hand over so much money and bid me farewell? Seems like an admission of guilt, and an effort (which admittedly worked) to prevent me from commenting on my experience. All you need to do is look at the top 5 most common jobs for degree holders from NYFA. The most common is elementary school teacher. The rate of alumni body working in thier field of study is a jawdropping .008%. Yea. Not worth it. Do yourself a favor, and watch all the films on AFI 100 greatest films list, then learn how blender and composition work, buy yourself a camera, and make a film.Nick Frazier

Did a filmmaking workshop. Loved some teachers and learned a lot, but the administration its just been awful. Since my first day. When I arrived due to a ridiculous covid protocol that I haven't been informed, I couldn't attend my first day of classes. I lost many hours and they just left me outside the door even though I crossed the world to get to nyc. And now, I finished the workshop four months ago and still haven't get my diploma. I keep writing to them but nothing gets done and it just keeps wasting my time. I paid around 5 thousand dollars to take that workshop and I just can't believe I don't have the proof of the classes I took.Pili Martínez

I am a 1983 graduate and I felt that my educational experience at Muhlenberg was excellent. It is academically very rigorous and challenging, but also socially responsible while providing a very family-like atmosphere. I have had opportunities to go back to the college recently and the changes to the campus with the new buildings and facilities along with the academic upgrades were truly impressive. Muhlenberg to me should be high on anyone's list looking for a top notch education in a supportive, tight knit academic community environment.Anthony Ware

On Friday May 31 2019 I did a self-guided tour of Muhlenberg College. I was impressed by the building's architecture. Every building has a red door. I wondered what the significance of that. I find that college campuses make for interesting photo subjects and Muhlenberg College is no exception.Richard K

Learn from the best. When I was 19 years old, I was accepted to the Lee Strasberg Theater Institute. It was the highlight of my life at the time. The great teachers back then were Harv Dean and David Gideon. I went to school here part time for 9 months to learn acting at its very basic. If you can afford going to the school and want to learn acting from the aspect of the instrument, then I highly recommend going here. The most important thing I learned from this school, is that even if you attend the classes and do your scene work, you need to be out pounding the pavement and looking for work in the industry, an agent and possibly a manager. I would not call the school glamorous but it does show great pride and respect for people who walks through their doors. If you are serious about acting and show business, this is the place to be. Although I am old enough to be the GRANDmother of most of the students, I had the honor to chat with Lee Strasberg himself, one morning, years ago. He spent nearly a half hour on the phone with me – a total stranger. I had acting aspirations back then (I am a freelance writer today). And I have never forgotten his generosity, wisdom, and graciousness to me – someone he would never meet in person. I love stopping by whenever I can, to donate theatre books, costume pieces, and just sniff around who's doing what. We attended the Tom Jones concert on Tuesday, Sept 13th. I rated this a 4 star only because of Tom Jones. Otherwise it would have been 3 due to the way Hershey dealt with the crowd. But we had great seats.. However, at times, the sound system was so loud that it was hard to hear some of the words to his songs. But on the whole 2 straight hours with no breaks. Remarkable for a man his age. Always liked Tom Jones and his songs and still do. Now for the negatives.. I don't believe that Hershey was prepared for as many people as there were. No provisions made for handicapped or people who might have had trouble standing in long lines which stretched a very long way down both sides of the entrances. In addition, once we got through the metal detectors, the lobby area was a "free for all" to get your tickets scanned. No order at all. And when we went in,which was about 7:50 (the concert started at 7:30), there was only 1 person doing the scanning. When we finally got to the Luge area, it was hard to get any of the 4 ushers to help us find our seat in the dark. Very upset that we had to miss the beginning. We had arrived in plenty of time as instructed, to be able to get in on time. Very dissatisfied with the way this concert was handled.Marlene Black

I've been attending the Hershey Theater for events since I was a young child. This past week, I attended two concerts. The first was The Guitar Event of the Year, featuring Joe Bonamassa! This was the third time I've seen Joe at Hershey and as always, it was a special treat! He's one of my favorite musicians and as long as he keeps returning to Hershey, I will most likely be there. The second show I saw was Pink Floyd tribute band, Brit Floyd! This was the second time I've seen them in Hershey, and as usual, they put on a fantastic show! Always looking for concerts like these because I love the small venue. The Hershey Theater only seats 1,803 people, if memory serves. So the smaller size always provides a more intimate setting. Plus the beauty of the theater, is an added attraction, and takes you back to days gone by!Ross Seaman

This is my first time at Hershey Theater. From the outside, it doesn't look like a theater, but inside… wow! Historically old and beautiful, loved just looking around. It reminded me of a castle, though I heard the little boy behind me tell his mom that he thought it looked like a church. He's right, too. There are three levels with cushioned, comfy seats. There is no elevator, so if you use a wheelchair, let them know when you order tickets. There are no stairs to the Floor / Orchestra seating, so wheelchairs could access this area. Parking is directly across the street and free. Restrooms can be found on each floor. I did enjoy this venue. My only complaint would be that it was awfully warm in the building. It's not a deterrent though. I have tickets for another show in September!Rhonda M.

I went today with my kids. The under 5 area was fun for my younger kids, but too many of the downstairs exhibits looked like they worked but did not work correctly, or were just outright broken or missing too many pieces to be used for my older kids. I realize some were closed on purpose for Covid issues, but there were things open that didn’t work. I became a member to go to the Franklin institute for free from another trip, and after a trip there, I was just disappointed so many things at our ‘home’ museum were not taken care of by other guests, or are in the shape they are in. Maybe it is how it is after a full summer of camps with heavy use and they will be by fixing/opening/replacing parts but the worker I saw there didn’t have two new double A batteries to replace for the snap circuits…. I think the Whitaker center science museum needs some TLC and some good corporate donors to build it back up to what it used to be with some new exhibits and new supplies for the fun activities they already have!Beth Darowish

Nice intimate theater. No bad seats. Has a couple wrap around balconies. Great for small to medium sized productions. Parking is easy – go to the Walnut street parking garage, first few levels are reserved for the Hilton Hotel. Keep following the garage "loop" up until the cars thin out, then go one more loop to park right next to the elevators (3 of them). Don't forget to memorize the level number. Take the elevator to "Arcade" level. Straight out of elevator and up a few steps is the entrance to the Whitaker Center Complex which houses the theater at the far end, and what used to be called the IMAX at the nearer end and the Science museum in the middle.Robert Higbee

Initially came to this area for Hershey park, but that plan got washed out with thunder storms…so I needed a indoor activity getaway and Whitaker Center for Science worked out great it's a large facility with plenty of things to do ranging from IMAX theatre and three floors of hand's on learning exhibits in many areas of Science that will keep everyone entertained from toddler to adults! They even have a Hurricane chamber! Which was awesome! While it's no Hershey park it's still a great all day event especially on those stormy weather day's!Agravier Thymaster Libertine

At a glance I thought this was a great organization. However the way the run their billing is horrible. There will be times throughout the year where they cancel class and you still pay. If you try and withdraw not within their time frame you could end up with a hefty bill even if your child isn't attending. This company was heads and shoulders above every other AVL company we called. For that matter, out of 7 companies, Illuminated Integration was the only company that listed themselves specifically as an Integrator. Here's a breakdown of my experience with this business. 1- They were courteous and prompt in returning all of my emails, texts and phone calls. Their estimated project start and completion dates were on the money, and caused no inconvenience to our normally scheduled service dates and times. 2- They listened to our churches vision for the system, and worked towards that goal; all the while, they helped us trim down to a project that would stay within our budget, without sacrificing our greatest priority areas which needed quality products from top manufacturers. 3- Illuminated Integration completed all design, rigging, electrical, programming, and calibrations in house with their own team. This is huge for us, because an understaffed Integrator that sub-contracts things such as electrical or rigging serves as a red flag that the team may also be inexperienced. A quality Integrator needs a lead team that carries a peripheral field of vision which encompasses the entire project, in order to foretell potential problems. 4- These guys didn't give us a quote filled with equipment from their endorsed distributor, or that which would show the most profit from upcharges in shipping and handling to our facility. In our case, we were seeking line array P.A. speakers because we thought that would give us a sound dispersion with the most even coverage. Mike and Tyler offered us a point source Danley P.A. that had a great amount of clarity when mixing in mono. When panning to take advantage of our RLRL/mono sub stereo configuration, that clarity is magnified into a spacious stereo mix that lets you create depth through solid mixing. The team's placement of our sub in the center of the room's peak was an ingenious way to future proof our installation by not blocking the best placements of any potential lighting additions we may choose the future. 5- The price we were given for our system came in with the best ratio of labor and project total estimation. Suoer nice guys on top of all that. Choose this team for you AVL, and you'll actualy enjoy what is normally a grueling negotiation of terms.Anthony Maloney

I am the Technical Director at Saint John Vianney High School in Holmdel, NJ. Illuminated did a complete overhaul of our audio system; replacing the speakers, sound board, infrastructure, 20 wireless body mics and receivers, and adding some plug and play XLR ports to the front of the stage which work off touchscreens in various places in the room. Everything works seamlessly and their tech support is top notch. They are always willing to help even at weird times (which is especially helpful if something goes wrong during or near showtime!).Chris Scoles

I first heard about this Dance Studio when my (now) husband took me to his daughter and niece's recital. It was moving. So moving, that I couldn't wait to sign my 6 year old up. She is now in her 3rd year of dance with a new dance added each year. She's had multiple teachers and faculty assistants. The time, professionalism and expertise of those that teach and assist with this program has proved to make for a wonderful experience and ultimately, a phenomenal recital at the end of the year. This program helps our children with confidence, exercise, communication and even relaxation as well as making new friends. My other daughter has now signed up for a class in the fall after she, too, went to her first recital this year. Yes, there are some expenses, but there are also expenses in any sport or activity that children would be signed up to do. Signing up for one class with the tuition fees and costume is really no more than one would pay for any other sport in a 3 month season, let alone an entire 9 month period. There are incentives to register early to receive a discount and also a discount to pay tuition up front for the year. That doesn't seem to me to be a program that is all about making the money when they are losing to those that take advantage of the offer. Any activity a child would be in would require some sort of funding from the parents, and those (any) activities can't go on without those funds. I don't feel that their prices are unreasonable at all. I've also met with the faculty and staff (including the owners) and I've gotten nothing but help, courtesy, respect and appreciation from them. Most of the teachers at Tap 'n Arts have returned to teach here… where they once took lessons, in hopes that other children have just as wonderful experience as they have had and learn to love dance as much as the teachers do. I would recommend (I HAVE recommended) this Dance Studio to anyone that has a child that wants to have a wonderful experience learning to dance, work together with others, be respectful and make friends. The end result (recital) every year proves how hard they ALL (Faculty and Students) work. My daughter just finished her first year of dance here. She liked it, we did not however. All the studio cares about is money. There are way better studios in the area that offer more for the students AND families! My daughter did well in her performance (she's only 2) but the show itself was not great. It was late getting started, the lights kept going on and off (did someone not know what they were doing?) and a lot of the dances (specifically tap) looked the same. There's not even a theme with the dance show. Each year it's just "Steppin Out" and whatever the year is. Lastly, on their Facebook page I had asked about dress rehearsal and tagged my boyfriend in their response so he knew what time to take our daughter. Tap N Arts replied "I hope you don't mind but we're going to be deleting your thread". That was uncalled for, but I'm betting it's because of the negative review I left on their Facebook page. Oh well! Our daughter will be attending The Studio in Enola, which offers MUCH more for the students and families! They do fundraisers, community events and they have more performance opportunities. I'm really not sure why Tap N Arts has such great reviews.Lisa Czaster

Seeing the studio from both the staff and family side this studio genuinely cares about its students, staff, and families. The teachers know their students beyond simply teaching them a few steps. They work with the parents to ensure that the children are moving up levels at the right time. Starting from age two through their senior year of high school, dancers have the opportunity to excel in their chosen forms of dance. In terms of the recital, having two separate shows allows for a more relaxed show for the younger dancers and doesn't force a 2 or 3 year old to have to sit through a 3 hour recital. It also acts as an introduction to the stage and allows parents to sit with their younger children for the older kids show if they'd like for as long as they are able to with the ability to leave if needed. If you are looking for a high quality dance education this is the place to go. The instructors were responsible for at least 5 high school musical's choreography in 2017 and bring the same high quality to their recital choreography as well.Matt Hannaford

There is equipment for all kinds of working out, aerobic, strength, weights. As a newbie to gym membership I appreciate the staffs knowledge of which equipment is geared towards what part of the body you want to work on and the equipment tutorials also. But by far I appreciate that fitness classes are included in your membership. Without instruction I do not push myself but with an instructor I am much more fit. I was intimidated to join a gym but the No Judgement Zone is so true here that everybody can and does feel comfortable.Peggy Shimmel

I was looking for a friendly, non-judgmental gym to get a light work out in on my rest day. I train boxing and Muay Thai regularly and today I just wanted something a little easier. I was told Planet Fitness is welcoming to all types of people and will not judge you. Actually they were very judgmental. The signs everywhere said "no grunting". I simply wanted to get a work out in and mind my own business. I felt unwelcome and judged. A very disgusting and hypocritical establishment that I will never visit again.last first

This is one of the largest and yet extremely well maintained planet fitness I have experienced. ALL machines are in in good working order. There are plenty of areas to workout. The woman’s locker room is very comfortable and larger showers is a plus. Even has a scale! Would be more comfortable to have three changing stalls by the showers instead of two for this size gym but other than that great job!! 👍Stacey S.

Another gem in the Pittsburgh Area. 11.25.18 visit to see Beauty & the Beast Holiday. Our grandkids had a wonderful time and so did we. It is an intimate interactive experience in children's theater. Particularly for the kids brave enough to participate in the show. Our 4 year old was too shy but she especially liked Belle who she came to see. The acting is delightful, the music is enjoyable and the story's message is good. And the kids get to meet with the actors following the show. We can't wait for upcomming performances.Ray Marks

Gemini puts on an amazing summer theater camp for kids. Our 4-year old had a blast the entire week. He'll definitely be back next year. The staff was great with the kids. They let them create the show themselves, including the plot, characters, and props. They present the show to friends and family at the end of the week. Amazing to see what a group of 4-6 year olds could do in a week. Highly recommend to other parents out there.Shaun Kline

They encourage children to explore and become immersed in theater by way of casting and having interactive portions to their shows. They also do birthday parties! Open Stage has very talented actors, directors, and staff. Every show I have seen at Open Stage was wonderful, the shows they select are thought-provoking, they also put on new musicals, cabarets, drag shows, and concerts. They have new productions every month and weekly shows in their beautifully decorated bar. The cocktails on their menu are all so good, they even have some mocktails. I child I know is enrolled in the class. Being a senior student who has NEVER gotten even near a major roll, got one of the smallest roles in the play, while others that ALWAYS get major roles did. Chrysalis by Kathryn Petersen is a grande tour de force, blending the true story of 17th century natural philosopher (today we'd call her a scientist) Maria Sibylla Merian, her passion for understanding the cocoon metamorphosis of the caterpillar into butterfly or moth and the parallel oftimes conflicting paths with her two daughters. It's only a staged reading so far and only one more showing April 28th, so do not walk, but FLY to see it. Tickets are required but cost $0; that's right – there's no cost for catching this beautiful experience.Energizer Bonnie

This has been home to the Villanova theatre productions for many years and there is one year before they move into their new facility. This was our second play, this time we saw the Book Club. The set was simple and worked well. Every actor was perfect in the roles. Two hours passed quickly as the story and dialogue kept the story moving. Professional. Looking forward to our next show.chris moyer

The sides if this cozy theater, nestled amongst the Mt Gretna cottages and just up the hill from the Jigger Ice cream shop, are open to the air. To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Rick and Morty. The humor is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of theoretical physics most of the jokes will go over a typical viewer's head. There's also Rick's nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into his characterisation – his personal philosophy draws heavily from Narodnaya Volya literature, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these jokes, to realize that they're not just funny- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike Rick and Morty truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the humour in Rick's existencial catchphrase "Wubba Lubba Dub Dub," which itself is a cryptic reference to Turgenev's Russian epic Fathers and Sons I'm smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Dan Harmon's genius unfolds itself on their television screens. What fools… how I pity them. And yes by the way, I DO have a Rick and Morty tattoo. And no, you cannot see it. It's for the ladies' eyes only- And even they have to demonstrate that they're within 5 IQ points of my own (preferably lower) beforehandAidan Zeiders

DC tech school it’s horrible this year for these kids the seniors let’s try to get out of thereThese kids work very hard this year even with the remote learning and going back only for 2-3days they went through a lot so they deserve to have a decent graduationFirst they tell them about the graduation only weeks before graduation and then the day before graduation they change it and say we got to do a remote graduation This is one of the first of my children graduating so I wanted to be there to enjoy your greatness but now I can’t because they were only allowing five people she got sibilance I have to bring my kids with me so I guess I can’t go to see my daughter graduate I have to look on the phone and watch my child walk the stage.So disappointedAnissa Johnson

I am alumni from 1991 and my sister around 15 year later. My daughter from 2014 and now my son is in his freshman year here..In my experience this is wonderful school that has been great for a long time…Teachers and staff who actually care and will do what they can to see the students suceed. HACC was the best choice I made when coming to school. In my first year I became a student worker, received awards, and was feeling confident about my schooling. Security makes the campus super safe and friendly. HACC has so much networking and has allowed me to receive an entry level position in my professional field. I am currently working part time as an actual HACC employee now after being a student worker for almost 2 years. There is room for growth in both education and employment. The HACC faculty/staff family is what keeps me going. Everyone in the Welcome Center is warm and caring. Financial aid is quick and efficient with everything they do. The advisors personally walk to other departments to find answers for their student's questions. The admissions are so helpful for new incoming students and current students. I can honestly only see I have only ever had one negative experience with processors and I've been here for 3 years. Even the Footnotes Cafe and Subway employees are warm and welcoming to all the students. It is definitely a place to be and a place to grow. I have recommended and assisted several friends with getting into school. And I will continue to recommend students to start here before paying more at the local 4 year schools in the general area!Brianna Carroll-Lugo

This is possibly the worst financial aid department I have ever worked with. The student "workers" have no knowledge on financial aid or their policies. I have never been so displeased with a department so much and to have to deal with them in order to go back for more education makes me reconsider my decision. My last encounter the student argued with me as I told him I was looking at my account as we were speaking. The conversation ended so poorly I dropped my classes and decided I will take my education elsewhere. For a community college I should not have expected any better I suppose. While he told me I should just go back to Millersville that is exactly what I will do. I would highly recommend pursuing your education elsewhere if you have the opportunity.Tasha Billett

HACC is a great school. It helps prepare you for future education. It is great for learners at all stages and ages. It is refreshing to have a place with Academia that has focus on the community and students. So many University and other colleges have their head stuck up their own academic snobbery. You are treated here like a human being. If you want a small college that makes you feel like a person, been out of school and want to come back, or want a career change this place is for you. Immigrant and minority friendly. Good education for a good price that lays down a good foundation. I graduated then went to Millersville and I tell HACC is way better!!Ivan F
