How does a college have a faculty that can't answer any questions pertaining to activities that go on campus. there are 4 kids to a room and marijuana smoke fills the air. You complain to faculty that you were not around anytime that this is found by staff with proof of your where abouts each and everytime. I don't smoke at all. I have a scholarship to go to this school and they kicked me out due to no one coming clean about the marijuana. I don't think I was treated fairly. I just started my journey here and was looking forward to progressing here. Now I have to figure out a new plan. NCC IS NOT A GOOD SCHOOL TO ATTEND IF YOU HAVE BIG DREAMS.krishauna drake

I don't go here nor do I know anyone who does. We visited for a wrestling tournament. The gym they used was utterly disgusting. Dirty as hell. Garbage was shoved everywhere. There was a baby bottle!!! This is right when they opened. You are going to tell me there is no custodians or even volunteers to clean it up knowing there are visitors coming?? This college misguides students frequently. Be careful what your advisor tells you and they tend to swap your own major without your permission. I’ve lost thousands of dollars due to the unmanaged people that work here. This place has a low tuition cost for a reason. Loved my college experience at UB. Quality academics, quality student life. There is great diversity which will help you with life after college. Food is good, not great, but what do you expect when you are cooking for the masses. Wish people cared more about the athletics. They have made north campus and the apartments surrounding it nice. The alumni base from what I can tell is Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse, NYC, Chicago and DC. I also love the city of Buffalo. Downtown offers a lot to do for a mid size city.Joe Segrue

This place is like a palace. Massive, I visit it there on a trip. It took me about 3 hours just to walk around the whole school. Also visit the inside as a visitor. Its a amazing university that offers many course. Lot of friendly people. Adviser will always help student even though their is a lot of student. Amazing Lab as well. If I could put no stars I would. Okay so I was doing pretty well in the college at first all A's and B's everything was going great! Until I ended up having to help out with rent so I had to get a job, and being a mother also I am one of the few who would NOT want to put that much stress (job, kids, and school) on myself. So I call them and tell tell whoever (if only I remembered her name) my situation and how I won't be able to attend anymore, and she ends up asking me all these questions like why am I withdrawing and questions that shouldn't really be asked because she didn't even say it's policy or anything, she just wanted to know. So I tell her I'm starting my new job soon and she asked me the one question that just actually made me done with her, she asked, "Are you sure you're not able to do all 3?" as in all 3 she means taking care of my child, going to work, and going to school. Let that sink in. It actually made me even more frustrated because she was telling me that if I did now it would cost a lot to pay back, but listen if I have to withdraw I have to. There's no 'Are you sure you want to?' So they said they'd call and tell me the rest of the details so we can get through with the withdrawal process and I haven't gotten a call yet but what I did get was an attendance email from Outlook telling me that I won't be able for eligibility for my financial aid if I miss 14 days. Wow. So, I'm going to call them now because this is ridiculous and I do not have time. But if you do go to this school, please be careful. i know that other people will have a better experience or whatever. But this is not one of them.AiKitty Chan

I was excited to start my online career here. However the guy in admissions that was assigned to me was not for me. He was not personable at all I only spoke to him one time and that was for five minutes he never explained anything just said he will send me an email if assessments that was it never heard from him again I tried email him several times never received a email or a phone call until five day later stating to complete more assessments I had questions and he did not answer them . I tried calling to see if I could get someone new they said no I had to work with him. 1. They don’t offer free counseling to students. I can’t imagine a university not caring about their students mental health 2. The bus schedule to pick students up to bring them to the university is unclear and the coach for Soccer said she never sees it either 3. You don’t have a credit union. Many students don’t have credit and credit unions are a great/safe way to help students open up into that world. UW Green Bay has all of these things. When you’re looking for a job they don’t care if you go to a private college or not. Your experience trumps everything, so consider that before applying.Blue Lagoon

I just want to say that we are so blessed to have this Cancer center here in Buffalo. Today at my yearly appointment every person I can in contact with was so friendly and kind. They all went above their job to help me. Mary from Dr. Cappuccino office was excellent. She arranged for me to have an extra test today so I would not be stressed waiting for another year to have it. It impressed me that they just want to make sure you are well taken care of. Also both of my technicians Alicia and Beth were very kind helpful and friendly. I would not go anywhere else now for my mammograms. Thank you you are the best!!Mary D.

Upon arrival at 2:30 p.m, went to my scheduled phlebotomy procedure ; their work was very efficiently done by 2:45. Arrived at the 2nd floor for my 3:00 pm CT scan appointment. The "checking in", , needle insertion, and CT procedure were all professionally performed by 3:45. All those whom I came in contact with were courteous, friendly, and professional. This visit was pleasantly completed, the valet service brought my vehicle around, and I was on my way home I by 4:00.Dave Roth

The Doctors here are incredible. Saved my father's life. I really can't say enough about the level of care received here. It was comforting through everything. It was so scary taking him the first appointment but everyone was there with open arms. I hope someday they find a cure, everybody has lost so much to cancer. Hunter Business School helped me find a career that not only changed my life, but completely fell in love with. Covid was a blessing in disguise for me, and really made me evaluate how I'm going to change my life for the better. With being let go from my mundane office job, this was my opportunity to find a not only a stable career, but something rewarding as well. When the idea of radiography came up, I thought "This could be something I can do" and started researching school all around Long Island. HBS landed as my #1 choice. This program was not only affordable, but I would've started my career a whole year later if I attended the program at NCC. I would've been stuck taking prerequisite classes, since my college credits were more than 10 years old. With HBS, it didn't matter how long I had been out of school. I was given the same opportunity whether I was straight out of high school or changing careers later in life. Not only that, but with the accelerated program, I graduated before other schools were done and that gave me a head-start on finding a job. Last week I graduated from the Radiologic Technologist program, and I already have two dream jobs waiting for me. Today I passed my registry for my license, and I couldn't have done with without the dedicated staff at HBS. While the courses were content heavy, they made everything so clear and easy to learn, and were there for us when we needed the extra help. Attending this school has saved my life. It gave me purpose. The program showed me that I’m much stronger than I thought! I graduated in February 2021 from the x-ray technologist program. The faculty is amazing and very motivating. Many times I felt like the work was too hard, but I didn’t give up, and the teachers (especially Abe) really helped to keep me focused on my goals. So many doors have opened up for me since I graduated from the program. What’s even better is that the school helps you find a job! I graduated from NCC and John Jay prior to attending this school, and neither one of those institutions helped me get a job. In addition, the teachers at the other universities were not nearly as helpful and attentive compared to the teachers at Hunter business school. If it wasn’t for this program and all the amazing things it offers, I truly do not know where I would be today! I am eternally grateful for this school and their programs. Looking back, I have nothing but positive memories here. It was a wonderful learning experience! Abe is the best teacher ever. I’ve been attending Hunter business school Xray tech program for almost a year and I can honestly say it’s the best decision I’ve ever made. Usually Xray programs are 24 months, Hunters is 16 months(shorter but fast paced)5 days a week so it’s very time consuming. You need to be 100% dedicated and contribute most of your days studying BUT it’s so worth it at the end! Being out of school for a few years it was nerve wrecking to get into the flow of things, but because of the instructors(Mr.Abe, Mrs. Aggey, & Mrs. Joy) they continuously motivate you to be an amazing tech. Because of my lovely instructors they have molded me into a great tech making sure to be tedious to little details in this field and providing excellent care for future patients. I can’t thank Mr. Abe enough for giving me this opportunity and believing in me! Hunter has changed my life and has made me gain such a great career path and a new RAD TECH family ! Im really glad I found this school to pursue my ultrasound career. The teachers and staff were amazing, our ultrasound teachers were there for us 100% of the time. Mary Beth stayed after class and tutored me almost everyday for a few hours. The faculty at this school truly care about their students and the education they are receiving, they go above and beyond to help us achieve our goals. I would highly recommend this program to anyone looking to go to school for ultrasound. They have a variety of machines to learn on as well as phantoms. I come for a massage every 2 to 3 wks and every student/massage therapist that I have had has been very professional, pleasant, knowledgeable and respectful but most importantly each person truly wants to be good at what they do! Great Lakes offers a wide variety of programs to get you started in the medical field. I toured the facility with the intent on becoming a nurse, but after seeing everything Great Lakes offered I am now working towards my associates in surgical technology. I would also point out that the entire staff puts a lot of effort into everything they do because they truly want everybody to succeed in anything they do.joshua weunski

I do NOT recommend this school! Honestly I was excited to go here and looking forward with completing this course. I went here for the EMT Basic Program. Let us start from the beginning. On the website they have a price of how much you would pay, but when you get there they tell you something completely different. Then they say the offer financial aid for EMT or payment plans, but when I asked to do it they said they don't do financial aid yet it says it online. So I offered to do a payment plan and they said that I couldn't, so I said okay then I won't attend. All of a sudden it's ok we can do a payment plan, that should've been my cue to not attend. Next the clinical person David, is really unpleasant. He talks to you as if you are beneath him, he is just rude. The course is rushed, if you did not go to school before or have a degree like myself, I don't recommend. The pace is too fast and they teaching is all over the place. Third they have this computer course online which is basically the computer reading what's in the textbook out loud. Unfortunately, that is why I failed because I missed two readings that had little quizzes in them. Which made no sense to me because I like to read the book myself than off the computer. Also, because of that they gave make up courses and two exams to take and said if I passed it, they would allow me to pass the class. I PASSES THEM AND THEY STILL SAID THEY COULD HELP. I should have read ALL of the reviews on this "school." I was really super excited about coming here but they are all about the $$ and don't care about your education. The clinical clearance coordinator, David Izso, is NOT friendly at all. He called me multiple times about a vaccination that I had to wait to get due to doctor appts being booked out and was talking to me if I was a child. Very unprofessional. They terminated me on a Friday, 4 days before the next semester, and a holiday weekend for failing ONE class after allowing me to take a makeup final for another class knowing I was already going to be terminated. They booted me off my portal, I had no access to ANY grades, my agreement signed through the school email, or even access to the other portal where I was messaging my professor. I have friends in nursing SCHOOLS in NYC that are allowed to pay and makeup a class failed after the first time. This school, no. They want me to apply again to just take more money from me. They hounded me everyday to pay my balance but when you want to speak to someone in regards to grades they just send you to voicemail and terminate you. I do not recommend CAHE. I graduated from the paramedic program yesterday and I wanted to just share some information with anyone reading this. I joined the Full-Time Paramedic program and have had a wonderful experience. The program is rigorous but I found the course load to be very doable. The program leadership (David Skolnick and Joel Abraham) really works with each individual student to ensure they are able to succeed and become competent prehospital providers. They had many opportunities to do clinical rotations at various agencies throughout NYC and upstate NY. About 1 quarter into my program, they updated a lot of their equipment as well. Overall, I am very happy to have been trained by CAHE and highly recommend it to anyone looking to join become an EMT or Paramedic.Shulem Rosenbaum

Had to give one star in order to write review. Absolute worst hospital in the area. Do not take your loved ones here and if by ambulance, go somewhere else. They have taken 5 days to finally give us answers on my husbands hear condition, he hasn't eaten in 5 days, they say they will get someone to talk to him about his medical concerns and its hours and days later before they show up, giving him meds he doesn't need, taking his sugar test when he doesn't have diabetes, trying to get him to stay so they can collect more money from my insurance to help pay for their strike as was put towards my husband by nurses that work there, the covid shot induced the heart attack to rip us off, the kitchen staff walked the job so they give you what they make for that day for everyone regardless of your diet restrictions, they have no clue as to what they are doing, and in the cardio department there are way to many teams/bosses and residents/interns fighting over who is right and telling a different story by each person, no communication at all and just a complete joke all the way around. The bathrooms and hospital rooms are dirty old and disgusting. The board of this hospital and the administrators and the doctors should be called out for this. They only things they are concerned about is money and nothing else. It is the patients that have to suffer and the families that see this also have to suffer. They pride themselves on being the best in the area and they are by far the absolute worst in the area. Do not go to Buffalo General or the Cardiac area for anything. Had the misfortune of coming here for an outpatient procedure. They had me come in at 7 am for a procedure that was scheduled for 9:30. By the time they took me upstairs for my procedure it was. 11:38. The doctor (Zlotnick) was the one who I had the appointment with but I got a Fellowship doctor or an alleged assistant who obviously did not know what he was doing as I was not relaxed and made comfortable like the nurse assured me would happen. Now I have a nasty swollen sore hole in my leg and the worst part is there was no hole in my heart to close. Total waste of time and literally have backed up my much needed cancer treatments. I had an angiogram last month by Dr. Guterman that was pain free anxiety free and actually performed by him. Dr Zlotnick and his peers should reach out to Dr. G. so they can learn how to successfully treat a patient with respect and dignity as these terms are clearly unknown by those GVI doctors, assistants or Fellowship doctors.M P

Horrible. I had an angiogram scheduled for 11 am and asked not eat after midnight the evening before. Sat in waiting room for 3 hours before being sent to a room…to wait again….no conversation from doctors or nurses. No update as to what is happening or what to expect. Been here going on 4 hours and there has been no activity. Why ask for patients to show so early when the time to meet patient exceeds 3 hours. Horrible treatment for an already stressful situation. Other patients were in same position. If you can avoid this place and go someplace else….do it. Don't let the "feel good" commercials fool you. They are cold and they suck. I'm generally a nice guy…the treatment (or lack there of)…will make anyone angry.Scott Hanes

Beth is lovely!!! It’s a catch 22/22. I appreciate getting in and out as quick as they do, but I do wish I had some more time with Beth, hence 4 not 5 stars. I have a horrid PCP, which makes me really appreciate the entire staff here. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. I returned for a follow up for tennis elbow a month after previously been seen. I appreciated she offered both a cortisone injection and PT. I was pretty set on the injection as I’ve been in bad for about 3 months. I’m SO glad Beth explained the needle would go into the area on my elbow I couldn’t even handle her pressing on. PT it is lol!! I’m so glad they have a PT location downtown as that’s where I live so it’s a bit of a haul to go out to Transit. I’m excited to start PT. Receptionist and MRI technician were very pleasant and friendly. They were both professional and assisted my navigating the maze of hallways and rooms with ease. FYI… I had an 8:30am appointment. When I entered the large parking lot, there were only 2 other cars. The building looked darkened and closed. I rechecked my appointment sheet which indicated I had the correct time, date and place. Then I noticed that the sheet listed their Saturday hours starting at 9am. That was confusing. However, when I tried the doors, all was open and I was on my way by a bit after 9am! I was very nervous when I arrived. Tiffany, Dr. Callahan's PA, was very caring, calming and professional. I had to have a shot between my knuckles (block) and since she was unable to remedy my situation … she tried her best to have me scheduled for surgery right away so I wouldn't have to have that shot again. Although Dr. Callahan couldn't do the surgery that day … I was very impressed by Tiffany's kindness and caring. The facility was nice and my appointment was on time. I came first thing in the morning on a Thursday as a walk-in. I was checked in quickly and taken to a room right away. The staff member taking my vitals was very nice. My provider was Tiffany, a PA who was incredibly kind and caring. She listened to my concerns and was able to give me a necessary prescription and instructions to take care of my problem. She sent my prescription to the pharmacy and I was able to pick it up right after being seen. Nice little place. You get to pick the day and time you would like an appointment. I did over the internet and don't remember if I saw that you are able to walk-in without an appointment. Everyone was very courteous and friendly from the 2 receptionists at front desk, nurse assistant and the Physician Assistant as well. After checking in you were placed in examination room and seen in an efficient and timely manner. Being seen in this medical facility is so much less stressful than the larger facilities. Terrible clinic with appallingly unprofessional, uneducated, rude and irresponsible staff. Only several months I spent making an appointment for a consultation because the staff was incompetent throughout this time. After I signed up for a consultation, went through it, and paid the bill that was billed to me, they sent me an additional invoice for payment. Although no extras were provided to me. The same happened with the price of my surgery. They were increasing the price every 2 weeks. They couldn't explain the reasons for it adequately. It reached the absurd point when I received a pepper copy of the invoice for the surgery by regular mail service, with the particular amount for paying, with their back address on the envelope, with all surgeries codes which related to me, and my name with my address on it, they said, quote "We don't know what the letter do you have. We didn't send it to you." For a very long time after the consultation, the clinic could not prescribe the surgical operation discussed during the consultation. During the entire time of communication with the clinic, no one has ever contacted me in any way to explain the procedure, procedure, and requirements. I was forced to constantly call, ask and run. Considering that I pay for my surgery myself and not an insurance company, I do not understand this attitude. A week before the surgery, they cancelled everything, saying, quote, "We DON'T LIKE to work with patients LIKE you." No one will ever be able to say that I was not polite, not tolerant and did not show respect to them all time. Unfortunately, uneducated, ill-mannered and unprofessional workers make many mistakes in their work and never admit it. They prefer to blame everyone around them except themselves, without even having a reason for this. I can back up my every word, which the clinic can't. As a result, wasted a year, money and effort. Billing is awful, they have no idea how insurance works! They let my son be seen by one of the PT's without getting an auth # after he gave them a referral. Then I receive a bill for co payments, one bill has Feb and May on it, the next bill has March and May on it, the next bill has Feb and Jan on it. All saying that the copayment was never paid. When you call, you get someone that tells you "oh, I know the bill is for a Feb visit, but that co payment was applied to a visit in Jan." WHAT????!!!! So, now I am stuck paying for I don't know what because there is no way to tell what and where my co payments are being applied. It is months of appointments and statements to go through. I have wasted enough time going over these statements for something that was their fault to begin with. They take no responsibility for their incompetence. Went here once before and they were great. Today my wife needed an urgent appointment. We called at 2pm on a Saturday. Hours on Google and the official website state they are open until 4pm on Saturdays. The phone just kept ringing we waited about 6 minutes of ringing. Decided to make the drive to go there in person, got there at 2:30 just in case phones were not staffed for some reason, but not a car was in sight, locked doors, and no sign that they were closed for any reason. Tried calling again when we were outside the door but again no answer. Ended up going to the ER instead as there aren't really any other options that we could find for a Saturday. A recording saying they were closed early would have been nice, even though it's my bad for traveling with the chance of getting in without an appointment.Alan J

It always baffles me when I have an incredible experience somewhere and I see less than 5 star ratings. But everyone will have different perspectives and expectations. First, I was impressed by the set up here…there was no confusion on where to go, as there was one person in reception when I walked in. She maybe could have been a little more approachable, and if she was preoccupied at least let me know she would be right with me… But that's where my expectations soar as I am in a customer service position at my job and it's expected to greet immediately, after all… She was my first encounter and set the tone… Anyways… Having the registration behind the scenes is genius, it made the waiting area quiet, and I didn't hear about anyone's lunch or night off. From here the experience was worth all 5 stars. The technicians are amazing. They made me feel so comfortable in a place of potential discomfort and high anxiety. I think the staff needs to be reminded that the people walking in are not there for a oil change, or tire rotation. We are there for medical reasons, some of which may be serious, and some of us may be nervous.. I wasn’t even all the way in the front door before the young girl at the front desk yelled out “do you have an appointment”? Then sternly asked me a few questions and again sternly told me where to sit. And that same stern attitude I was graced with by the woman giving me my scan. How about “good morning sir or mam”, how may I help you? how about “ make yourself comfortable over there please”. How about a smile? I was a bit nervous going for my scan but was put to ease when I walked on the door. The atmosphere is calming and front desk person was so warm and friendly. My technician explained everything in detail and was so very nice. Many services are offered here so if you are looking for routine scans or investigative scans, this is your place to go to. There are more levels to a hospital than just medical care. The billing of this place is substandard-we gave them all my moms insurance information and they screwed it up. The nurses in the ICU the FIRST time my mom stayed there were great, the second time they were rude and did not take care of her the same. Some of the doctors were respectful and talked to us like a person, others did not want to be bothered talking to us. I work with doctors and found some if these doctors just plain RUDE!Valarie

I came in for an allergic reaction and was brushed to the side and waited for about four hours in the waiting room. I witnessed a lady have to leave the hospital because she has been here for 12 hours after a stroke and the hospital team did nothing for her. As she got up to leave the nurse told her to “feel better”. This is a disgusting display of the healthcare system and shows how little the people at Kaladia Health care about their patients. Clean and nice hospital. Bathrooms are very nice and clean. The person I was visiting was being taken care of very nicely and had what they need in a few minutes. Overall very nice hospital. And if you want to stay with someone who isn't sick and had surgery or something I think you can. My friend had a wide that gave birth there and he didn't have work and he worked the night shift so they made him a bed with a clean mattress that was clean so he could stay with his wife for the night.Luka Cvijanovic

I have never been taken on time, at my appointment time. I always book the first appointment of the day, arrive early to check in and be in the waiting room before my appointment. I still wait 20 – 30 minutes, all the while I can see and hear the techs in the kitchen area chatting. The techs are courteous and explain the procedure every time – too bad they can't BE on time. After the procedure today, I was asked if I wanted to wait for my results. I said I would, since I didn't have the opportunity to speak with the radiologist since the start of the pandemic. (find it interesting that the doctors didn't see patients during that time, but the techs were front and center just inches away from the patient during the procedure) I wait for Thomas A Summers, MD in the "results waiting room," only Tom is a no show. Windsong really needs to up their inclusivity game. The gowns they give you for a mammogram here are ridiculous unless you're 125 lbs and a cup size A or B. 🙄🤦🏻‍♀️ I'm a DD and I had to sit in the full waiting room with a gown on that barely closed over my chest and was far too short. I even asked for a different one when they took me to the changing room, and the one I got was not much better. As if this appointment isn't nerve wracking enough, now I have to sit in a waiting room with skin showing, holding the gown shut? Unacceptable. Not everyone is small chested, people. You need to get plus size gowns. Like, immediately. Ladies, just FYI, this place doesn't cater to larger chested women and their comfort or privacy. I'll be going elsewhere next year based on a recommendation from a friend where things are more personalized and comfortable, rather than an overcrowded, insensitive mammogram farm with really long wait times. I had my appointment as referred by my primary doctor. I went to my appointment and they said I needed to have extra mammogram images.i went back to the room 2 separate times. The reason for going was to get a breast ultrasound/biopsy. The wait was extremely long. I was there from 11am until almost 4pm, which is ridiculous. The staff was friendly, but seemed very unorganized. All I know, is I'll never have a biopsy ever again. My body, my choice. Also, my paycheck. Very disappointedMary Diamond

TLDR: Canceled my appointment for being late when I wasn’t. Staff was rude, unhelpful, couldn’t be bothered to answer phones, failed to share critical information, took no responsibility for failing to share information, and in the end I wasn’t even rescheduled. Why would anyone come back here after being treated like that? ————————— My primary scheduled an appointment for me for 1pm on a Saturday. Got a last minute call from them asking me to move my appointment up one hour earlier, 12:00 pm. On my way there I notice that I may arrive a few minutes after 12:00 so I call their scheduling to let them know. No answer both times. I walk in at 12:05 pm and approach the front desk. I give a male employee with grey/white hair my name. He barely looks up, then he says smugly “your appointment has been canceled and you’ll have to reschedule” while grinning. When asked why, he says “Because you’re over 20 minutes late and you’ll have to reschedule”, then proceeds to look at me like I was dumb for asking. I tell him that my appointment was originally at 1:00 pm and I was asked to move it back 1 hour to 12:00 pm for your convenience, I’m only 5 minutes late at best. He says “well if the appointment was at 12:00, we ask all out patients to be here 15 minutes early”. I tell him “nobody told me that over the phone when they rescheduled me”. He says “oh well somebody messed up then. You’ll have to reschedule” dismissively and doesn’t offer any help rescheduling. I’ve never been here before, my doctor scheduled me, when they called to reschedule nobody informed me of their rules/policies on appointments being 15 minutes before their scheduled time. My insurance carrier called them to make an appt. and when they called me back, they said the woman that took the call at WNYMRI was extremely rude and could not give an appt. for the next month. I called my Dr and was told to have the insurance carrier call Pro-Scan in Williamsville, and what a difference!! THEY made it happen. Sorry, but that kind of rudeness is uncalled for in a professional environment or anywhere for that matter.Larry Penman

The MRI techs are awesome. The front office not so much. They blew off contacting me for an appointment two are three times. My Chiropractor was furious. When I finally got an appointment they changed it without telling me so I arrived "late". The front office woman asked if I checked my voice mails to hear if they changed my appointment. My spouse had a procedure at MFSH performed by Dr John McGrath. This was arranged by my husband's nephology team so neither of us had met/spoke with Dr McGrath. My husband was prepped & remained lying on the procedure table in an awkward position for some 30-40 min. When the Dr arrived he neither introduced himself or apologized for delay. As a retired RN I find it very unprofessional. As far as my husband knew you could have been the janitor.i won't bite you with all the idle chit-chat during procedure but again, there is a human being under the drapes. The nurse in the room at least offered a pillow to make my spouse more comfortable although a update as to " the Dr is delayed, should be here shortly may have been considerate.Donna Dudek

I went in for an MRI, couldn't do the whole procedure as I had n panic attack. Tech said she got one good imaging and did I want it sent to my primary or get my $20 co-pay back and try again. I choose to send to primary. Primary calls, says they never got the results. Call to GLI said everything was canceled and they would issue a refund check. As of 9.9.22, I have been waiting over a month for refund and am getting a run around. The MRI super, Sam (ext.353) said a month ago he would investigate and get back to me. Numerous voice mails have gone unanswered, and he is ghosting me. The only person who has been willing to help me is Kim D. in Billing and am waiting for her to call back with an answer.Kathy Gasiewicz

I have gone to Great Lakes for years.when an appt is made and they call and confirm it no one tells you that there is major construction in front of it. After thinking they over I called and they directed me to drive down an alley marked GLMI and drive around to the back. Then there is a very long walk through a maize oh hallways. A daughter whose Mom used a walker said she saw some wheel chairs by the back door but had no idea and received no instructions. When I was leaving a very elderly patient was struggling with a cane. I y old her it was a long walk and offered assistance This is not the way to treat patientsSharon Banas

Updated again: It just keeps getting SO MUCH worse. One thing after the other I am being surprised with or told I haven't done or that something else is needed, when I was never informed of any of it. If you're enrolling here, good luck. I hope you don't have the same experience I have had. I stand by my original comment that this is by far the WORST college experience I have ever had, and I've moved a lot and been through 4 other colleges. EDIT: *Avoid Valerie Tober as an advisor. She is extremely discourteous, unreliable, and unpleasant. She made the process just that much worse. She treated me as a burden and was condescending to me for almost the entirety of having to work with her. This is the absolute WORST admissions process I have ever dealt with. If there were another college closer, I would have dropped this facility and chose to go elsewhere. The only people that were knowledgeable or help with anything was Zoey in admissions and Monica and Dean with IT. I'm thankful for them but extremely dissatisfied with the rest of the people I have had to deal with. It has been a nightmare.Josie Bullard

Don’t go here. This school is not military friendly. Had a B+ in a class when I had to go to the field training for two weeks. I told the professor at least a month in advance. She told me I failed for not attending for those two weeks, that I had to be present like anyone else. All work was completed in advance. I reported the incident to her supervisor because I know military are an exception to attendance as long as they have a memorandum from the commander “which I did”. Once they realized they couldn’t fail me for attendance they needed justification for already failing me. The professor was old and she didn’t know how to navigate the online portal for issuing assignments, she accidentally duplicated more than half the assignments and verbally told all students to ignore the duplicates which had due dates and would appear is incomplete. She used those duplicates to fail me and justify her actions.Paul HERNANDEZ

This is my college and everyone else's for whomever resides in Jefferson County. I am proud to have graduated from here. The professors are both knowledgeable and experienced professionals that won't take slack from the nonhackers of the world. They will help those who need support. They will guide everyone no matter your situation. I recommend anyone searching for somewhere to go to learn about what you may want to do later in life to come and join us. They offer matriculation services to other institutions within the SUNY system. This is a major plus to commuters of any area. Come join us!Jonathan Davis

The college it self is very huge and clean I like there because the air is so pure, everything looks nice. Even in my posted picture you can make a conclusion that everything is okay outside and inside of the campus. My college back in the day. CUNY tuition is still great compared to private university choices. Offering two year degrees that can Transfer to bachelor's degree within the CUNY system or SUNY.
