Please do not attend this school for it's transition to teaching graduate program. The professors did not prepare for their classes and provided low quality education to the point that I could not justify continuing with this program after paying in over $4,000. When attempting to get them to appeal the final $800 for the semester I left the program they simply refused to give any leeway or acknowledge and error on their part and sent me collections with an additional $350 fee. With no recourse beyond their own appeals process that unsurprisingly found no problem on their end, all I can do is complain on their review boards. On the plus side, the do have a beautiful campus and I can not in anyway speak to the quality of their undergraduate program.Daniel Gore

While well established as a great Franciscan university, Marian remains up-and-coming in terms of their MAT program for teachers. I had a wonderful experience in terms of the contacts made and networks formed while attending. However, much remains to be done to increase the rigor and requirements for that particular degree. Still, Marian University will soon open the second medical school in the State of Indiana. They are also adding a seemingly much finer tuned doctoral education leadership program.Tim Lankford

Here visiting for a campus tour with my daughter. So far what we have seen is amazing. Marian University is a great place. The buildings are contemporary except for a few historical sites that were preserved. Other than that, it appears to be a great place. The people were friendly as we visited as well. I will start with the good. The instructors are amazing. Most of them that I have had are very intelligent and filled with the necessary knowledge to teach you. Now the bad. DO NOT LISTEN TO THE COUNSELORS!!!! Figure out what classes you need to take on your own. I spent 3.5 years there with a combination of full and part time and have no degree and no requirements for any programs that I told them I was most interested in. When I was a vulnerable 17 year old first generation college student there completely on my own they told me I needed to take reading for Nursing. For one, looking back, I placed out of reading. For two, I have yet to come across a nursing program that requires reading. It seems that they always gave me the run around and had me taking all of the classes that I did not need, and none of the classes that I did need. If you can figure out what classes you need to take on your own, then The school if great, and the education that you receive is great. If you have nobody to help you or guide you in your life and are solely dependent on the counselors advise, find an alternative.Amber Parson

I didn’t know I Loved ECC, until I moved and I was out of district so I had to go to MCC. I Hate MCC everything and everyone is shut off by 4pm and there’s no almost no teachers willing to teach past 4 (There are but only some). This is impossible to manage. I’m getting a job near ECC so I can go back. I MISS YOU. Not only does ecc have a ton a teachers, but they offer a variety of times for classes especially in the afternoon. There teachers are wonderful and dedicated (not all of course but most) and there facility offers so many different activities and clubs you can go crazy in there. Dropped by here in order to go to Panda Express. Don't know why I'm reviewing a college I'm not even part of, and this review is during a pandemic too.. well, it's purely about the aesthetic and convenience of the facilities. De Anza has quite the sizeable college grounds , so sizeable that it feels like an abandoned residential area with how empty practically everything is. It's complete with artistic facilities for music, visual arts, science buildings, sports facilities and the like. While I didn't enter, the library and the nearby park (called the sunken gardens by the college) was quite the beautiful location. The outdoor seating areas where the students would take a break and wait for classes on are widespread, shaded and very calming to be on. Not to mention the very convenient bus routes available . It's no wonder the college ended up being quite popular, it's geographically excellent and quite picturesque.Ace Hughj

De Anza College is great but not the book store. Beware of book store return policy. Make sure the books or items is in original condition or their will not refund. No sympathy at all. I bought online access book a week before class starts. My math intructor switch book. And to make matter worse I accidentally bent the access book card because it was in my backpack with one line crease and they denied the return after i picked it up on 1st day of class. Cost me $120 for a simple honest mistake. Ask for store credit or even exchange for the current hard copy of the free math book and they not willing to do anything. I'll go buy from amazon or used book somewhere else. Never again support this book store.Dru Down

Community colleges are a treasure trove of gems among them is access to the on-campus gym. De Anza College’s on-campus gym provides patrons with a quiet and well rounded experience for an affordable price. From experience, these types of gyms allow me to get my workout done in a welcoming environment, which I feel can’t be said of many gyms. I've been attending FCC since summer of 2016 and will graduate, god willing, this spring 2019. Full time, year round, no breaks. Although parking requires at least an hour grace period, I believe the over all experience is what you make it. I've come across rude people maybe having a bad day and I've had instructors I could not relate to. Its all very frustrating. Its sad to say the success rate at this college is 17%. But, then again this is an adult school. Nobodies going to call your house when your absent or hold a parent-teacher conference when your not doing your work. I am working on a Human Service degree and have enjoyed the ups and downs of my classes. The load was a little heavier in a few and I had to buckle down and utilize the tutorial, ETC, PASS, Computer lab and all other resources available. In all the those places I found the staff and student help extremely eager to be of service. The assistance was much appreciated. I am not speaking for this business itself, merely the college district's education quality. I have taken classes at Fresno, Clovis, and Reedley Community College, and I have had an absolutely deplorable time. I don't feel like I'm getting anything from the classes; I don't feel the staff is prepared to teach online, if at all. If you are going to teach college-level English, you should not make punctuation and grammatical errors consistently. If you are teaching a law class, you should not do it from inherent bias and perspective. If you are conducting an online course, you should not have to hold up a piece of paper because you don't know how to make a slide. It is said that Fresno City College is the first Community College in California. Registration to classes is simple and online, and they offer all kind of classes. The classes offered here are great, however the financial aid office is really unorganized and gives you the run around. I have literary spent a whole semester running back and forth filling our paperwork and checking to see if they’ve received my financial aid application. I took several courses at Merritt, initially thinking it would be easy, just because it's a community college. I was VERY mistaken. The courses I took were rigorous and the instructors had high standards of expectation. The curriculum was no skate. My experience there was great and I would recommend this college to anyone. By the way, DePaul University in Chicago accepted my Merritt credits without blinking.Meb Bem

The website is so complicated and ambiguous it takes at good half hour to find what you need. When you finally get their the function usually doesn't work! The campus signs and layout are horrible. If you're going to Merritt for the first time, give yourself at least an extra hour to find your way around! For a higher institution of learning, someone needs to fix these issues…R Cole

I recently finished my second Technical degree for Metal Fabrication as a returning student. I delayed going back to school for years for lots of reasons, but mostly because I thought it would be as awful of an experience as High School was. Instead the teachers in my program were excellent. I was always challenged by the projects and supported in my learning in equal measure. If you're looking to get into welding or Metal Fabrication, these programs are career fields that need people, pay well, and you can learn them here! Don't sleep on the trade skills that can be taught here. Go to the open houses, see if these are things you're interested in doing. A 4 year degree isn't The guarantee of employment it used to be, but these one year Technical degrees, leading to in demand fields are.Travis H

Very nice tech college. Almost everyone you come across on campus can point you in the right direction. I just started school today online. But tomorrow I get to go to campus. It's a clean sanitary environment. There is currently some remodeling going on, so part of the building you cannot access… yet! AC was on, felt awesome. temperature didn't change much room to room either. All the employees seem to know their job very well and are willing to help. I chose Madison Area Technical College because I know many people that have graduated and successfully got into a job they wanted. This school is also smaller than UW Madison so I feel like the learning experience is better, more hands on, more participation versus a large school such as UW Madison.Shane Toycen

The good profs here are all just professors moonlighting from UW Madison, I'd honestly say you should apply to and go to literally any other UW system school before here. The quality of education isn't bad- but they somehow managed to misplace finances and put 650 bucks into collections randomly – without mailing me any notifications, and without a notifications on the online portal. You won't get competency from any of the administrative staff, expect 5 week long waits to see a counselor for any sort of urgent need. If you are a student with a disability – make sure you have additional copies of any medical documentation, they will claim to lose it. Most of the education staff despises the administrative staff and yeah, I can see why.Bee

I'm a vet and am finishing up my first semester at Liberty. So far I have had nothing but good experiences. I was nervous about going back to school after being in service for years, but the transition has been fairly easy with all of the help lve received.My instructors are very personable and go out of their way to help me with any problems I may run into. Professors are very professional and, unlike many schools, encourage students to form their own opinions. I have never felt as though any political agendas or doctrines were being forced upon me. Non Christians are treated equally well as everyone else, and are even welcomed to challenge or question anything they may disagree with. Divinity professors are more than willing to listen to other opinions and will clearly explain anything a non believer might want to know about Christianity. The campus itself is beautiful and full of fun things to do besides schoolwork. I am actually learning, rather than simply connecting dots to get a degree and that is exactly what I hoped for. Since I've gone to the school I've got to see politicians such as Nigel Farage and Donald Trump Jr., musicians like Jeremy Camp, sports stars like Brett Favre, world class entrepreneurs, and experts such as economists who advised the president. I’ve got one year to go to graduate from this place😭 Being a student at this university has been quite a wonderful experience. To be honest I think it’s one of the it’s not the most state of the art schools in the world. It’s impossible to get bored here. I will say though one thing about this place is that if you come here on fire for Jesus then you’ll find people on fire for Jesus but if you come here to party then you’ll find the party people so make of it what you want. Yes there’s been some drama here in the past few years but there’s drama everywhere and Liberty has been able to manage it pretty well I’d say. Set up a campus tour. It was 3 hours which entailed visiting the dorms and dining areas. To include the fitness and recreation center. As well the Jerry Falwell Library and Vines Center. We walked the campus for a few hours and then we rode the bus for the remainder of the tour. Everyone was friendly. The student tour guides did an excellent job. The campus was huge. It was well maintained. They have three dorm options. One to include apartments that house seven people. Freshmen are able to bring vehicles on campus. Wide selection of dining options. A good school where you get out what you put in. Many trains stop within walking distance and buses as well. Just like any college, depending on your major, you will find good and bad professors. So always make use of the rate my professor website. I had a very pleasant experience. The administration was more competent than other schools I went to and my issues were always solved within a reasonable amount of time. The facilities I had to use for my major were in even better condition compared to some four year schools. The wifi coverage was good. Plenty of cafeterias with the best one being in the E building. Plenty of food trucks with different types of foods. Lots of seating areas with electrical ports. The class scheduling was workable with enough sections to fit almost everyone. Can't speak for any other major but it felt like that overall. They are always hiring new adjuncts so it's not the same professor teaching that one section you need all the time that everyone says is horrible. Always stay on top of your things if you want to have them resolved quickly. That's the part you play in your college years. The hand holding stops after High School. All I can say is, relax a little and have some fun. At the end of the day grades won't show the strength of your character after all is said and done.Mounia B

It seems like professors like the one I got Professor Arnold who acts likes she is going through the motions and don't there . i felt I waste my time and money which I paid out of pocket in her class and is thinking about leaving the college. She is one of the worst teachers/professors i ever had . I think cause it a community college a lot of them are mad cause they can't teach in a four year college through out of the community colleges in NY LaGuardia is the best . That being said she is the third professors that I had that sleeps walks through their class and I had another one that did something that weren't cool and I didn't show up for her class and never got an apology from her. Im currently in my last year at LaGuardia (majoring in business) and i have to say the Business department is full of AMAZING professors. Classes are really easy (most of them except accounting unless you're good at it) and the students are cool. I, personally, never talked to anyone or made any friends because I'm not an outgoing person. The school is constantly going under renovations and they just finished the new library and it looks AMAZING, as if it was a library from an ivy league. Food isn't that great but what do you expect, its school food [not free of course]. I visited the campus while staying in the area for the total solar eclipse in 2017. The campus was clean and safe. Internet searching showed that this was the only place in the US with white squirrels. I walked around the campus for 2 hours but only saw regular squirrels. Many students were not aware that this campus was known to have white squirrels and those who were aware said they never saw one. Just as I was about to give up, I spotted one by Potter Hall! I have graduated with five degrees from four different universities in Pittsburgh ranging from Bachelor to Doctorate degrees. I can honestly state that Duquesne was my favorite school. I received a higher quality of education and benefitted more from the smaller classes which are not offered by other schools. Most of my educators actually cared about their students and were not at all condescending (ok, there were a couple). Duquesne costs a bit more, but it was worth it. The campus is great. The classrooms; halls; and grounds are clean, traditional, and safe. My child chose to go to another school, but I would sleep better knowing that was living on campus at Duquesne rather than an apartment in Oakland. The only criticism I have is Duquesne has become more noticeably politically liberal than other Catholic schools. I’m ok with limited expression of personal liberal or conservative views, but I am disappointed when those views become a driver for the facility and administration to influence students. Some of those views have reached national attention which lowers my annual donations to the school.Jerry

We went for a campus tour today and absolutely fell in love with the campus. We are from the Pittsburgh area and I never expected the campus to be as big and charming as it is. The tour guides were very knowledgeable and the student:teacher ratio (14:1) with an average class size of 28 was a major bonus. The dorms are 2 bed frames with a desk and closet for each roommate with 2 drawers under the bed as well. They're spacious and clean. They have an amazing 4 floor workout building with every piece of equipment you could ever need! It truly is a hidden gem right in the downtown area. Away from the hustle and bustle of the city but still close enough to enjoy downtown amenities. I don't see how any other college could top this!!Melanie Phillips

I heard that USD is an excellent private university. They have highly accredited teaching, law, technology, language, environmental and psychology schools, as well as a number of others. I also heard that their physical education school is quite good. USD is one of our nation's top rated colleges in regards to higher education and just to get admitted, you must score fairly high on the SAT ( Taking the ACT can always helps too ) and presenting the admissions evaluation committee with a high school GPA that shows that you were in the top percentile of your graduating class is very beneficial; it also helps to have done some volunteer work and to have been on at least one or two high school committees. All of these combined together should help you gain admission to USD. This college is quite competitive-as are most of our best colleges nowadays. Most of USD's professors are seasoned-the best in our country-and very demanding; graduating in four years means a lot of hard work and can be a wearisome task and often taking a couple of summer session classes or a class or two during Christmas break can help one graduate within this time scale. They do offer scholarships however, these are difficult to get and student loans ( Federal Educational Grants can easily surpass fifty-thousand dollars a year! USD's tuition is at the high end of the scale, especially if you live off of campus ( The City of San Diego is amongst the ten highest priced "cost of living" metropolitan areas in the USA ). There are hundreds of nice condominiums, townhouses and apartments within the surrounding area however, the rental rates for a one to four bedroom unit start at about $900 to $1200 per room ( living together ) per month or about $2200 for a two bedroom townhouse/apartment, to $3500+ for a three to four bedroom ; I'm just giving you a general idea…it's a might expensive to live anywhere in San Diego. USD has many of the most beautifully designed buildings in San Diego; architectural masterpieces. Tourists who come to visit San Diego often include this private university in their sightseeing itinerary, as the photographic opportunities around this campus are simply marvelous; especially on a clear winter day from about early afternoon to sunset. They have a small visitors center, as you drive through their main entrance center and if you get lost, you should stop and ask a couple of students and they may be able to help you? There's a lot to see, including San Diego's famed Tecalote State Park, which lies just below the north side of this university.charles chiles

The campus is pretty. The teachers, at least those who are fluent in English, are mediocre, and those whose English language skills are very poor, are token so this campus can brag about being diverse. The dorms are so noisy that it is impossible to do any work in one's own room or get any sleep before 3 a.m. The people responsible for policing the dorms are too lazy and callously indifferent to do anything, and no matter how many complaints are made, it is a nightmare to live in the dirty, smelly and horribly noisy dorms. The religious classes, which are mandatory, are a total waste of time and not based on any accurate facts or historical accuracy. The head of the Student Health Center is dishonest and harmful, willing to smear any student she takes a hatred to. There are no responsible administrative officers to be found if you have a problem. The University accepted my son to the credential program August 2011. After 2 years and more than $32000 in tuition he is not being allowed to do his student teaching because, in the opinion of some professors, he lacks the skills they require. These professionals (who demand that the credential candidates be able to reach and teach all students no matter what their learning styles or disabilities) should be knowledgeable enough to bring out the best in a young man who has wanted to be a teacher since in the seventh grade he was chosen by his teacher to tutor other students in reading. The professionals who are standing in the way of his dream need to evaluate their own teaching. What did they do to ensure my son's success in their program? Such a terrible experience trying to just consider registering, that I am now no longer interested. I called to make an appointment with an academic adviser. I was put on hold for 20 mins without ever speaking to a human or given any other option. After 20 minutes, I hung up and called the main number. She said, "well, I can't do much, but they have direct number I can transfer you to." So, she transferred me. To some random faculty member in some department I had no interest in. That person was very nice and told me she'd walk my request over, and have someone call me back from advising. They did call me back to set up an appointment, which we did. However, I was driving and couldn't write down the details, so she assured me she would email me all the info. Of course, I never received the info. So, I just called to cancel my appointment. The overwhelming impression I got was one of incompetence, inefficiency, and that the right had didn't know what the left had was doing. Oh, and it's a half hour wait on the phone to even speak to the right hand. I was a new student, contemplating studying here. But after the way I was dealt with on the phone on my very first interaction, I now have ZERO interest in attending, and will continue my search for a school that has its act together, and knows what they are doing. I have had nothing but Positive Experiences since I have been at Edmonds Community College for the last 4 months now. I am going through the Workfirst Program at the Gateway Bldg. They had me go through the Solid Foundations Course & a College Sucess course. before I started my summer courses of Math, English; Critical Writing, & another 2-credit Write class. All of the Instructors that I have had are amazing, they helped me in every aspect of figuring out what I wanted to take by different surveys & then they help to walk you through getting your all of your Financial Documents in order & get registered for all of my classes over the next 2-years while I am working on my Degree. Classes they used to offer in Math and Sciences are no longer being offered despite having brand new facilities just built. It is going through a strategic pivot from a transfer and foreign exchange college to a "social improvement" center. I tried to be patient, given Covid and everything else going on. But now is NOT the time to go to WCC. I took a class that, by the teacher's own admission, was not ready. We spent EVERY week not knowing what was actually assigned. The online courseware always has problems, interfering with studies. And it does not matter if you have "the same course material" as the bigger colleges if you do not have the lectures to back it up – they don't. This is a good way to pay 700 to be told to read the book. My classmates were consistently disappointed with help from the teachers and tutors. The kicker was my bogus charge from the bookstore. I was charged full price for a book that I. Returned. To. A bookstore. Attendant. At a desk at the bookstore. In WCC attire. There is a real chance that you will lose a substantial amount of money just by using their services. The textbook industry is already corrupt, it doesn't need the help. I'm disabled. My time here was meant to be a new leaf. Now I'm set back financially, educationally, and have to find somewhere else to study. WCC's failings and policies did real damage to a vulnerable person. I've been here a few times trying to get school started using the GI Bill. The Veterans service gave me misleading information, and honestly did nothing to actually help. I had been talking to them for over a month in regards to getting the ball rolling. Then residency was brought up. The first time, they told me "dont worry, the GI Bill will pay for." The second time I had made an appointment with Jarid Corbitt to register for classes, who told me they wouldn't, and I'd have to pay half tuition. I was at my last step and they finally bring it up. Then he tells me "all this information is on the website, you should have seen it." Ok. Whatever. I was told it wasnt that big of a deal. Then he tells me to look into Vocational Rehab, and that I'd need to make an appointment with a counselor then come back. Grossly unprofessional professors. Syllabi & class content of other professors is frequently copy and pasted into online courses because the professors clearly don't understand the content they're supposed to be teaching. Professors fail to follow even the most basic aspects of email etiquette. Online courses are frequently disorganized, poorly designed, and fail to make course objectives clear. If Whatcom is your only option be sure to research your professors before selecting your classes. If you have other college options consider passing on WCC.Allý Cally

As a 4th year student who will be graduating in Spring 2018, I will be terribly sad to be forced to leave such a terrific school. UGA has provided me with all the opportunities I could ever want. I was looking for a college that would have all the resources I would need in order to go to Optometry School and UGA has exceeded my expectations. The classes here have truly prepared me well for the next 4 years of my life. I am grateful to have gone to such an amazing school. If you’re looking to go into the healthcare field and want to be best prepared for graduate school, UGA is the right way to go. Also, the campus is large and beautiful! After UGA, I will be attending the University of Alabama at Birmingham College of Optometry. So luckily, I won’t be too far from UGA. One of the best Univeristy of the State. Professors are nice and professional. Campus is huge and lively. Food is delicious; you should try its buffet at any dining halls. Attended the University of Georgia for 3 degrees. Absolutely loved my experience and wouldn't trade it for any other at another institution. In addition to Athens being a beautiful city and UGA having a beautiful campus, I felt I was appropriately challenged as a student. I went to Delaware County Community College part time for four years after high school. It's one of the best decisions I ever made. I really didn't know what I wanted to do right out of high school and I didn't want to go to a super expensive university and still not be sure. I started out with general studies. I just finished my Liberal Arts associate's degree there this past spring. I enjoyed my time at this school. I got to take a lot of different classes to really figure out what I like and what I dislike, and it's way more affordable to do that here. The campus is beautiful, especially the STEM center. There's lots of helpful services and the professors I had were great. I'm now transfering to another school to study graphic design and I feel like DCCC helped me get on the right track. The cost isn't horrible and the classes are similar to classes offered by four year universities. The problems I have lie with the administration (financial aid, career center, cashier office.) They do not know how to deal with students in a timely, concise manner. I was unable to get in and complete a single course for the last two years due to administrative problems, even though I had been with them previously. Such a Beautiful campus and I had a very great experience at DCCC, I’ve had some pretty good professors during my time there although some did seem to only be there for a check. During my time here I was also in the KEYS program and they have such wonderful staff very helpful and friendly. They have a nice library and the food in the cafeteria is really good too.Nicole Flood

I took a neighborhood stroll with my two kids and we ended up walking through the campus. Wow! Green with more green and located above the mighty Umpqua River, this small but we'll appointed campus seems to have it all. My daughter mentioned that she intends to take some classes there and that it's just minutes to walk from her home. Gorgeous campus, my goodness. We all felt safe walking thru, it was easy to navigate and get from building to building. And how about that pool huh?! Too bad no lifeguard was present, as we would have all been doing laps, it was so irresistible and clean! 💦Richard Ward

I have a lot of good memories of this school. It's a beautiful campus and had very good instructors during my time there, which was a few decades ago. I made a recent visit during a trip to Roseburg, and it looks much the same with a few buildings added.Dan White

The only reason ppl go here and are willing to grossly pay for an education is the location. I went to school here and will say it is far overpriced for the education you are given. Some staff are great and really care about the education they are providing. Others just read off a powerpoint and have no interest except for a paycheck. Career services ask if you want to be reached out to and say they will help but its not in their interest. At the NYC campus the administrative and financial aid staff are blatantly rudeRyan Ryan

Pace is expensive, doesn't help the students getting internships and when the students get one on their own, Pace takes the credit. After graduating, the students don't get a job. One of their alumni just got a good job and due to she owes money, they don't give her transcripts and are retaining her title. Is not possible for Pace to help when the students really need help? This is a good school. However, the quality is almost identical to the CUNY school I attended before coming here that costed significantly less. Additionally, the lack of diversity (granted, because of how this is a private school) is also lacking. I am happy to be graduating from here from a grant through the NYC Department of Education for free, and in all I enjoyed my experience here.Mr. Luppino

Worst college experience. The clinical advisor is incapable of her job and pushed the clinical to a future start even though the CPR card takes one day to get but she decides to push it a whole week when we should have been done the day the quarter finished. The phlebotomy instructor is really rude and disrespectful of students and makes students not feel comfortable to speak up and if to ask a question she acts like your a child completely rude. I don't recommend coming to this college. Also the virtual graduation was upsetting to know I had sent my information and sent a photo and not even be on it. Really makes me unhappy to know I spent money and time to be treated as a student like trash and not get acknowledged for the hard work and time put into trying to succeed. I won't want to come back to this college for the at most disrespectful people.Ryan

This is a terrible college. It’s like pulling teeth to get anyone to email you back about important, time-sensitive information, and you get the runaround when they do. This happened when I was applying for admission, and is currently happening now that they’ve denied me, because they are incompetent, the certificate I worked so hard for. Because they changed the numbers on some math courses, they all of a sudden don’t count towards my certificate, and they lost the official transcript that I sent from my former college, and are denying my transfer credit. Man i had trouble here. Not only did they give me the wrong classes but it turns out i never had FAFSA to cover my classes. And they make me pay for them two years after I left the college. Thank goodness i never continued to study here. I know they have a lot of students to manage but still if you were able to catch that years later then why not then? I knew something was wrong here. Overall i'm glad i went to another school that was able to get me on track.NO SPAM NO SPAM

Absolutely, by far, the worst experience as far as the cashier's office. We received one notification that my son had a balance due (Army hadn't paid their portion for his service…another issue all together). I explained to the cashier that we would be paying but needed time to transfer funds for a college savings account to the college. The woman told me they would not stop, "their process" as far as the bill owed. I explained this would take 2-3 weeks maximum. 2 weeks later, we receive a collections notice. Again, we try and call them and the collection agency to report that the payment literally crossed in the mail with the collections and could they remove from collections. The answer was an emphatic no. No grace period, no understanding that getting the funds transferred takes some time, no consideration that my son serves his country. 30 days and off to collections he goes. Would not recommend the college to anyone, any time. No compassion, no understanding and rude people on the phone.Seth Newman

I actually really liked going to Northwest Arkansas community college and was doing my degree completely online, until one day I was not. I enrolled in a payment plan and had a balance on the plan, so when I logged into my account to pay the remaining balance of the plan, I was not able to. When I contacted the school they said that they had sent my account to a debt collection agency after only two months, I do not live in the USA and have been trying for about 1 1/2 to contact the debt collection agency . I didn't receive an email , no warning nothing. I was on my second semester and thought I was on my to getting my degree online, this school has completely discourage me from pursing my degree online. The school seems to be more about profit than students success. Some of the positive reviews I have read about the school were written by Faculty staff.syfy Buff

If I could give zero stars, I so would. They have messed with my financial aid, they do not ever answer the phone, and then the wait is terrible if you do go in, they aren't any help when it comes to questions, and they aren't willing to do more than say, "Sorry about it, you'll be dropped from the classes if you don't pay in full, you should have known everything had to be turned in by July 3rd, even though it's not on our website, and we are a new system so we are too busy to answer the phone." I've never had a more unprofessional experience from a place that is supposed to help. I suppose this is directly against the enrollment support team they have because they are no help and aren't friendly either. I would suggest going to the University of Arkansas or doing an online school instead of having to go through enrollment support here.Courtney Myers

The campus is beautiful and able to be enjoyed by members of the community as well. Most of the professors genuinely want their students to succeed and are good teachers. Not a ton of events and things to do but a good amount given the size of the school. IT is great too and always very helpful. My degree was a little dry by the time it got to me but was otherwise delicious, 5 stars!Rich

Worst college I’ve ever been to. You can tell why they have a 21% graduation rate as soon as you register. They set you up to fail right from the start by giving you too many credits per semester in order to graduate on time. Some of the instructors are cool, but they don’t care about students there or mental illnesses that students may have. Wish I could give zero stars.Grayson Baker

The parking is horrible, even with a parking pass. Most of the time the student parking is full, but the lots that are reserved for staff are half empty. So you end up parking in the student lot that is halfway across campus from your class. The college is nice though.MOTOMOTO
