"Technology"? I can't even do my homework in class!? The cpu keeps freezing up! Lost my assignment in the Microsoft Cloud ON CAMPUS! Technical support is one overweight guy always eating at his cpu. I had to wait until the end of the quarter to meet with an advisor to sign up for classes I didn't want. Now I got a teacher that I didn't want. Got referred to get help with housing, the guy at Mary's Place never called me back. It's more like a outdated community college. The campus security running around there think they the real police. Several minority students told me they were followed around campus by them. Covid hit and I'm getting pressured by a rude narcissist teacher to come to the school to withdrawal from class. Then when I was trying to get back into school nobody answered a voicemail or email. Only owed the school around $400, got a collections bill for $1,000+. The King County Metro bus doesn't come by the school that much. Your definitely going to car transportation. The staff is mostly nice & helpful for the most part. But some things need to be changed.Andrae Jones
I am a 55 year old returning student who attended a " Little Ivy " college in my first time around. My prep school was rated #3 in the US by Forbes.I have enjoyed some of the best educational opportunities that the US can offer. I have surprisingly found most of the instructors here to be very dedicated and qualified. Some stand out, some are better than others, but none are lemons. They compare fairly well , within reason, of the instructors I had at my elite schools.BTW, because the program I am taking is in high demand in the private sector, the government provides extra money for financially qualified students. I will go through my six quarter program at about 20% of the cost.I had no idea that the money is out there if you take the time to look. Do yourself a favor and get off the couch. I should have done this years ago.Fred Farkle
The building is nice, the atmosphere is nice. Most teachers are great and would like to see you be successful. The advising office is my least favorite because I am always continually being given incorrect information, information in which is very important to have. The advisors are sometimes very hard to get a hold of and some do not get back to you, and when they do they don't give you the information you needed. I have wasted a whole day and gas to go to appointments that I could have just gotten the information over the phone, or through email, the front office is touch and go as well. Other than that the school is nice, I'd recommend it, but make sure you get the correct information the first time and not when it's too late.Liz Brown

Review Summary
Worst college experience. The clinical advisor is incapable of her job and pushed the clinical to a future start even though the CPR card takes one day to get but she decides to push it a whole week when we should have been done the day the quarter finished. The phlebotomy instructor is really rude and disrespectful of students and makes students not feel comfortable to speak up and if to ask a question she acts like your a child completely rude. I don't recommend coming to this college. Also the virtual graduation was upsetting to know I had sent my information and sent a photo and not even be on it. Really makes me unhappy to know I spent money and time to be treated as a student like trash and not get acknowledged for the hard work and time put into trying to succeed. I won't want to come back to this college for the at most disrespectful people.Ryan
This is a terrible college. It’s like pulling teeth to get anyone to email you back about important, time-sensitive information, and you get the runaround when they do. This happened when I was applying for admission, and is currently happening now that they’ve denied me, because they are incompetent, the certificate I worked so hard for. Because they changed the numbers on some math courses, they all of a sudden don’t count towards my certificate, and they lost the official transcript that I sent from my former college, and are denying my transfer credit. What a waste.Jacquelyn Crumpler
Man i had trouble here. Not only did they give me the wrong classes but it turns out i never had FAFSA to cover my classes. And they make me pay for them two years after I left the college. Thank goodness i never continued to study here. I know they have a lot of students to manage but still if you were able to catch that years later then why not then? I knew something was wrong here. Overall i'm glad i went to another school that was able to get me on track.NO SPAM NO SPAM

Review Summary
I came from England to study for a Batchelor’s Degree in Filmmaking and I graduated in October 2017 after an intensive one year course of study. I have read and agree with the comments in the reviews of my fellow former students Nathan Hare and Nicky Smit. Like them I award Seattle Film Institute ‘4 stars’. The school is reasonably well-geared up to take foreign students, but the course is taught in English and it is intense. Support of students is good, there is a wide range of equipment available for use, (the vast majority of which works well, despite what some reviewers have said) and the teaching quality is ‘good’ for the most part, ‘very good’ in particular classes and excellent in some other areas. At times the organisational skills of the institution left a little to be desired, but this was not generally the case – for the most part the admin. was good, with some areas ‘needing work’ at times. The ‘atmosphere’ is very good, (well at the odd time or two it wasn’t), and the benefit to be gained from collaborating with one’s fellow students in filmmaking projects is incalculable. I made good friends along the way, who when they are as successful as I expect to be I can call ‘contacts’; hopefully they will think the same of me! All in all a valuable, instructive and enjoyable experience, which I feel is a very good introduction into the world of making films, properly and for real. Four stars, but don't go if you don't like hard work, as that is the key to success at SFI and key to its success as a Film-making / Acting / Composing / Motion Graphics and Sound Design College.Robert Askey
Failing to heed the other bad reviews of SFI online, I took an intro to film making course offered at night and taught by SFI owner operators. It was the most disorganized and inefficient course I've ever taken on anything. The instructor was continuously going off on tangents and failing to demonstrate the basics of film in a manner that had any meaningful impact. In addition, we spent four to five weeks being forced to take home and use very old Super 8 cameras that were all broken in one way or another. The F stops were dysfunctional and mine wouldn't even focus. We actually got to touch more modern cameras only once or twice for very brief periods and received minimal instruction on higher-end cameras–the kind we would actually use if we were serious. Examples of lighting for scenes came once towards the end of the class. Film editing with Premiere was another exercise in futility, malfunctioning equipment, and the usual lack of focus. We did receive a cheap book regarding the rudiments of film-making which was helpful, but the cost of the course was a whopping $795.00. I could have bought a more useful book and used the rest of the money to buy some lighting and other gear. One of the other students and I made a short film using our own iPhones because SFI would not give us one of the higher end cameras that we had already paid for in advance–because it was checked out! We are proceeding to get our money back as I write this.MB NYCity
I very much enjoyed my time here as part of SFI's very first Acting for Film program. We were fortunate to have a great staff of working, Pacific Northwest actors of both film and theatre (many of whom also taught at other schools, including Shoreline Community College and Cornish College of the Arts), as well as an amazing, local casting director. A couple months into the program, the tiny school already felt like home. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and it was easy to make friends/connections in the lobby with filmmakers, writers, makeup artists, directors, editors, etc. I also highly enjoyed taking part in several of their short film projects. This school does need improvement in organization, quality of equipment, holding accountability of student project completion, and active response to student evaluation feedback. Since graduation, I have returned to take classes and have seen improvements in some of these aspects, but there is still a long way to go. Nonetheless, I recommend this school for aspiring actors who would enjoy small, intimate classes with one-on-one feedback and making great friends/connections along the way.Nathan Hare

I’m in the pharmacy program currently in my 6th sequence after having to repeat a few classes do to poor grades. Although the classes may be difficult it has been very rewarding to work with the instructors in the pharmacy program here at the Renton campus. They genuinely care about your success and making sure that you’re going to be successful in your career. There are so many opportunities that as a preexisting pharmacy assistant I had no idea about such as medication therapy management and sterile compounding. Our instructor mrs.B is one of the kindest and most blunt people I have ever met. Knowing I can be a difficult student at times she still chose to treat me kindly and fairly unlike any teacher I had before. Combined with ms. Alice they created an environment where I felt safe and comfortable learning what my style of learning was. Through my journey at Pima there has never been a moment where I believed that my learning and success was being overlooked the staff all the way from the offices on the first floor to janitorial staff are kind and uplifting if you just speak with them. There’s success waiting and they are willing to help you achieve itKylee Farret-Cruz
If you’re thinking about entering their Dental Assisting program DONT DO IT. It’s a rip off and a waste of your time. There are a lot of other programs that are way less expensive and you will learn so much more. All this school gave me was debt. I’m happily working in the dental field now and loving it but this school did absolutely nothing to truly prepare me for the field. The teachers were always late and contradicting one another. I would literally go online and watch lectures from other schools because I wasn’t getting any of this from Pima. I truly feel like I got scammed. Out of everyone I started with they all dropped out, kind of wish I did the same instead of continuing to pay them. I’m so disappointed with my experience at this school. Very disorganized and all about profit. Not sure about the other programs they offer ( they could be great ) but speaking from my own experience do not sign up for their DA program.Mallori Riche
I'm a student in career prep right now, and have only been here for a month, but I love PIMA so far. Being able to be in a 8 month program with the hope to have a job after graduation is great! This is definitely a place to look into if you are looking into being in the medical field, but wanting to get a feel for if you'd enjoy your selected program. There's a few different programs here: Vet Tech, Pharmacy Tech, Dental Assistant, Medical Assistant, and the list goes on. Definitely something I wished I knew about sooner as a high-school grad.Madison Shawgo

I feel like I’m getting scammed. I’m retaking this class first time was because my previous teacher didn’t grade most of my work that I summited direct to her with all paperwork and it was totally mess like nothing’s ever organized and dated correctly and she got fired so other instructors had to take over and still didn’t care about my assignment so i had no choice but failing. And when i retook it for second time with same class due to her personal reason it was mostly online or self taught with ppt she posted on blackboard. I only got to be in classroom 3 times. my new instructor won’t grade my quiz so i had to email her and advisor but non of them gave me any updates nor response so I guess they just want me to retake it over and over again until they can do their job. It’s large amounts of money they required too so I’m wasting my time and money and it just seems like they’re scamming me. Whenever my friends or people around me asking about this school I never recommend. Because no one need to deal with this mess. And they honestly killed my passion to be on veterinary field.Eunsu Choi
We've hosted students from the programs over the years and they come in with little clinical experience. They're not prepared to work with patients out of school at all. Up until recently our team was okay spending hours in training (while the school gets paid the tuition fee, we get nothing) hoping to keep the student on long-term. We got stood up. A promise was made to stay on and then no communication, no reply. The school should teach honesty, integrity and professionalism as part of the curriculum.Ilona F
I graduated from the medical assistant program and the teachers were all amazing and seem to truly care about their student’s success and wellbeing, especially Mojda! My only downside is that I did struggle with some of the administrative staff having poor communication and being disorganized. I definitely had to advocate for myself. Other than that, wonderful experience.Abby Heck

Review Summary
This place is small but they do a good job with communication you can text them even if you have questions and need to make a appointment and their great about getting back to you and trying to help any way they can. I do absolutely hate how you have to just drop your pet off and can't be in the exam room with them while their being seen it makes it feel like you don't get to really have a chance to ask any questions you may have or even just be there with your fur baby to make sure they are okay and feel safe so that's a definite bummer but I think just about all the vet clinics in this area are still doing similar things for your pets visits so it's not anything that's just with this particular vet clinic. Other than that they don't do emergency stuff so this isn't really a pet hospital like they say. It's been strictly just normal care visits here and anything emergency related they refer you to local animal hospitals so it's not really a hospital. They do remember me and my lady Luna though everytime I even text them they know who we are and what she's due for right away and so that's nice plus they even remembered she was having some tummy issues and asked how she was when I later contacted them about her shots she was due for so I like that they keep a good record on their patients and they are good about being a little more personal with each individual I feel like it helps especially with the whole not getting to be present for the exams thing so I don't have much else to say yet but if I do I will update my review.Danielle Love (Dlove)
My fur family and I love Cascade Pet Hospital. The staff is always kind, respectful and attentive to my pets’ needs and my worries/concerns. We recently moved to the Seattle area and understood we needed to establish Vet care ASAP. Yes, there is a shortage of vets and vet staff, the pandemic did not help this situation. Given this, Cascade usually cannot accommodate same day visits. BUT they are more than happy to point you in the right direction and listen to concerns. Dr. Taylor is highly educated and gave us all the information needed to make the right choices for our pets. Our puppy needed to be spayed and Dr. Taylor gave great advice. Needless to say, my pup was spayed, and healed PERFECTLY. I had concerns when we brought her home and Cascade was able to double check my pup’s vitals to ease my concerns. Of course my dog perked up when we got to the office. She just wanted to go back to say thank you to the staff and get all the treats. The cat is always happy to receive attention from strangers. He recently received dental treatment from Dr Taylor. While he unfortunately needed a tooth pulled I was glad to have followed the advice given as I had noticed him having some chewing issues. He also healed perfectly and it back to stuffing his face (in moderation). Thank you Cascade Pet Hospital!Emily Navarro
Dr. Taylor and Dr. Zaragoza have always taken the best care of our baby boy Huey. Our kitty got into a fight with another cat and needed antibiotics and a cone (but thankfully no stitches!). Reception squeezed us in the next day, the staff assessed his injuries, took the best care of him and treated him quickly and respectfully while giving clear instructions on how we should proceed moving forward. I can’t thank them enough for consistently providing the best care for our fur baby. The staff is incredibly kind, professional and caring. If you’re looking for a place that treats all pets with the care and respect they deserve, this is the place! Not to mention, they really take the extra steps necessary to keep their kitty clients comfortable and happy. Follow-up is amazing and the facility is welcoming and clean. Thank you Cascade Pet Hospital!Mel

Review Summary
North Seattle Veterinary Clinic is the GOAT of Seattle-area vets. Their staff is compassionate, gentle, and knowledgeable. They are also committed to using fear free techniques, which is incredibly important. My 13yo Chihuahua mix just had a full dental procedure done and I was a nervous wreck. Katie H, LVT took the time to call me the night before and patiently go through everything, and it made a world of difference. Throughout the day of the procedure, they kept me updated at least every hour, and even send photos of my girl—giving me peace of mind and total confidence in their care. We've been seeing Dr. Meredith for at least three years now, and he is so kind and gentle, and really listens when you have concerns about your pet. He is also behavior savvy, and I've been able to recommend him to behavior clients of mine for anxiety medications (I'm a dog behavior consultant). The front desk staff is equally amazing! Thank you for everything you do NSVC!Michelle Reindal
What a lovely place to bring your pet! My dog and I have been coming to NSVC for four years. We have been seen by many different veterinarians and we have never had a bad experience. All of the doctors and techs are so kind, patient, and handle my pup well. Their check-in process for the past couple of years has been COVID-friendly. They are honest about the cost of procedures and they sent me a full itemized estimate before my dog's procedure so I knew exactly what to expect. There have been several times when I have called them and left a message for the vet due to unusual behavior by my dog, and I'll always received a timely call back with professional advice. I recommend bringing your animal to NSVC if you are looking for a high quality, trustworthy facility.Kim McClendon
We've taken our cat here since we got him from Seattle Feline Rescue, and they've always taken excellent care of him, especially considering the ongoing pandemic and the additional challenges it brings for all types of healthcare. All of the staff are wonderfully professional and helpful, especially in communicating their reasoning for any recommendations they make, and for any at-home care plan that's needed. I would recommend North Seattle Veterinary Clinic for anyone in the area with a pet.Jonathan Silliman

Dr Singh is a veterinary genius and the most compassionate professional I have ever known. Over 2 years ago another vet at a different clinic told me my cat had 6 weeks to live because her kidneys were failing. I was devastated. I had just lost both my two other cats within 2 months of each other to different sudden diseases. And then I found Renton Vet through a friend. Doctor Singh saved my girls life 2 and half years later, she's still doing great and she's over 19 years old now! Doc Singh has been there for the 2 boys I adopted during the pandemic and he treats me and my cats like family! I cannot say enough good things about the care we've received here. My cats are my world and Doc Singh is just the absolute best! Thank you a million times over for the amazing care you've shown my babies, Doc! It means everything!MJ V.
I am visiting this place for Muffin (My 1 yr Cavapoo) since his day 1 home coming. Super happy and satisfied with the treatment(s), services and interactions. I feel so safe going there for my little dog. Dr. Singh and his whole staff is so friendly and caring. I got Muffin's Primary check (when he came home), vaccinations and neutering (recently) done here. No complaints so far, rather I recommended this place to many friends. Not at all money minded and super caring. Muffin loves to go to this place (without realizing he is going for vaccination), the passion and happiness he shows towards the staff there – Sometime I feel jealous. :), But believe me that's what you need for your pet during hospital visits. Thank You Dr. Singh and the whole staff there.Dhiraj Mendiratta
Best veterinary clinic I have been to.. Dr. Singh is extremely knowledgeable and staff is very pleasant and helpful. They are always really gentle with my senior cat who suffers from kidney disease. Just recently I thought he was very sick and possibly getting close to experiencing kidney failure. I did not have an appointment until a couple weeks out, but they urged me to bring him in same day instead and took a look at him. He is fine and just has a stomach bug. Dr. Singh did some bloodwork and reassured me it was good I brought him in regardless because he was showing signs that there could have been a serious issue. I wouldn't know what to watch out for if Dr. Singh hadn't told me previously. I'm always extremely happy with my experiences here.Amber Riley

We're leasing space at Galvanize and it's been an extraordinary work environment. The chiefs have been accomodating in thinking that we are the ideal space and staff are in every case agreeable and learned. Lunch alternatives in the space are top class just like the view from the deck. A solid tech concentration to the inhabitants for systems administration, worked with by presentations from Galvanize staff that have wide information on the scene. Great enlistment openings. We are renting office space here at Galvanize Seattle and it's been a positive experience. Stephen does a great job collecting input from members on ways to improve the Galvanize community and I've seen some of those improvements take effect over the past few months. I look forward to seeing what is in-store over the next year.Liz Koser

Review Summary
My last visit with Dr. Griffith was all over a mess. My dog Sagel has serious anxiety and is horrible with handling because of it. He gets terrified very easily. This clinic prescribed him Prozac because of it even, yet when I went in to see Dr. Griffith for his annual he proceeded to tell me that Prozac makes dogs aggressive, like my frightened dog is a danger. I’ve never felt so judged for my dog’s anxiety. I walked out feeling hopeless and like I just paid for my dog and I to be berated. Then then less than 2 months later they refused to fill Sagel’s prescription for flea/heart worm medication, claiming that I needed to come back in for an annual exam. Money hungry, insensitive, dishonest and judgmental vets and staff. I’ll be taking him elsewhere.Athena Tofting
I am so grateful that I took my cat to Dr Dean, she listened to me and I felt like she really cared about him. He is an older diabetic cat but with medication and diet changes, he doing so much better and I cannot thank Dr Dean and Pet care center enough! I now take all 3 of my cats to Dr Dean, she is great with them and communicates very well, answering all of my questions thoroughly. Everyone is very kind and caring! I cannot recommend them enough and will definitely continue to bring all of my furry family members to Pet Care Center!Pamela McMillen
Dr. Griffith helped me out in a pinch! I am so relieved to have my peace of mind back after a through examination of my 2 year old cat. Pet Care Center front and back room staff are exceptional! I was given time to explain my circumstances and was not rushed at initial phone call, and I was called back quickly as well! I am so impressed I moved from Urban Animal to Luna pet care center permanently!Holly Hinman

Review Summary
I just moved to Seattle (arrived Friday September 4th) only to discover that the stress of the move caused my male cat to strain to pee. I noticed this on labor day so had a terrible time calling around to clinics as most were at capacity. Seattle Vetinary Specialist (Bluepearl) was an awful experience and had me thinking I may have to euthanize my cat. They incorrectly told me my cat had urinary blockage and sent me off to another clinic that ended up being at capacity. Roosevelt Station was a breath of fresh air after all of the craziness above. The staff was friendly, understanding, and super caring. I was pleasantly surprised when the doctor called to chat with me about my cats condition and spent 15 minutes on the phone answering my questions, reassuring me, and educating me on male cats and urinary issues. It was absolutely the best experience ever and I have nothing but positive things to say. I may be new to the area, but Roosevelt Station definitely has my vote for recommending others so their fur babies can be taken care of. Thanks again!Jessica Murphy
The staff at Roosevelt Station are compassionate, professional, and super duper helpful. Our pup goes here for regular check ups and recently dental care. When she had a reaction to her procedure and was throwing up they got us in first thing the next morning. The got the care she was needing and was eating fine within hours. They explained everything really well and explained options too. You can tell they love the animals and get how important they are to our lives. Our pup was loved and cuddled a bunch by the staff. We’re really happy to have found this vet clinic! It is also well organized with COVID protocols and very clean.Jennifer Jerbi
I have gone to three different vets since getting my pup and by far this is the most thorough, honest and timely provider you can go to in the Seattle area. When you enter the facility you are greeted and if you’ve been there prior, the employees actually remember your pets name before even telling them! This makes for a special experience for my dog and I am super grateful I found a place Benny(my dog) actually enjoys going to. Each time I bring him in for an exam or to get looked at, he comes out happier and healthier. I really could not ask for a better place to bring my pet to. Thank you all so much!julio melendez

Review Summary
The reason we chose BetterVet was due to having some negative experiences after going to our original vet, our dog became scared of people after each visit. During visits to the vet, he gets incredibly anxious and defensive, and the only way our original vet could properly do their job was with sedation. (We were not allowed to go in for any of his puppy visits due to covid) Our hope with BetterVet was to allow our 90-lb Bernese mountain dog to feel comfortable and safe in his own home, with his humans by his side. Unfortunately our first experience was much worse than we were expecting. During our initial video consultation with the BetterVet, we expressed our concerns about how anxious our pup can get, and the vet talked us through what to expect during the in-home visit, which was supposed to start with the vet & vet tech entering our home and not paying much attention to our dog, as to let him get comfortable/bored with them. After that happens, they would begin their examination. This is not what happened, as the Vet & Vet tech gave our dog lots of attention, leading to him becoming very excited with meeting his new friends. They gave him treats and tried to move right into taking his temperature after walking in the door only three minutes prior. There was not any time allotted for our dog to settle down. Unsurprisingly this did not go well, our dog's excitement turned into anxiety/defensiveness quickly, which led to a muzzle that didn't help, and ultimately he got into a state where he could not be examined. We were hoping the premium price would lend itself to a premium experience, with staff that would have the time, energy, and expertise to navigate an anxious dog. Instead all we got was a rushed in home visit with an impatient veterinarian, that seemingly was not informed of our previously stated concerns during the initial video consult.Steven
First – have to say they are the ONLY vet in the Kirkland-Bellevue-Redmond area that I found to offer a mercury-free rabies vaccine (and I called or emailed a dozen offices)…many didn’t even know that mercury was in their existing vaccines (usually listed as thiomersol). If you have 2 vaccines that are equally effective – why would you not choose the one that does not contain mercury??? The vets that I spoke to in person had no answer to that and the only reasoning offered was “this is what our office manager orders,” and they saw no need to have another option available. One vet told me that nobody has ever asked for it, which I find sad because we are advocates for our furry family members, and when the tables were turned and we needed a Covid vaccine people made sure they were experts on every ingredient given to them. Moving on…I can’t say enough about how wonderful our encounter was – Karley and Dr. Rickel were amazing with my pups and so very friendly and professional. They are extremely thorough and knowledgeable about different breeds, medical conditions, nutrition…you name it. I was very impressed with the entire experience. There was a lot less anxiety from the pups being in the comfort of their own home, and obviously the convenience of having them come to your home is a huge bonus! I highly recommend this team of experts for taking the very best care of all of your loved ones!Angela
My dog had an emergency injury during the weekend and her current vet couldn't see her for 2+ weeks! BetterVet was able to come to my home first thing on Monday morning, and they were excellent with my dog and her injury. Dr. Rickle and Karley were so kind and helpful, and they put me right at ease. Will definitely use Better Vet again!Samantha Tetrault

Review Summary
tl;dr DON'T EVER LET A BANFIELD VET OPERATE ON YOUR PET. UPDATE: Diesel had to have his leg amputated 3 weeks ago, just 5 months after a Banfield vet attempted surgery without a biopsy to confirm diagnosis. I've now spent roughly $15,000 trying to save my dog's life after their gross incompetence. My 11 year old chocolate lab had a lump on his elbow and, having been a Banfield patient his whole life, I naturally went to my closest Banfield (Cap Hill) to ask about getting it removed. The vet squeezed it a bit, said it was a fatty lipoma and we scheduled an appt to have it removed. No biopsy or anything. Surgery day came, and I get a call that he's been put under and opened up, but that she's never seen anything like this lump before and she's just going to do a biopsy and close him. I pick him up a few hours later and he has the most horrific looking incision on his elbow, with grotesque stitches, ZERO covering of any kind and I'm sent off without a single anti-biotic or pain killer and a folded up piece of paper with an emergency vet's phone number on it. That's it. I asked about pain meds and they said he didn't need any. I asked about the covering and they said it was better to let it dry out. Remember, this is on his elbow! He hits it and lays on it all the time. He popped a stitch that night and blood was everywhere. I bought supplies to clean and wrap up his arm and called in tears the next day, asking if we needed to come in. Begged for pain meds because he was in so much pain. They finally prescribed some Gabapentin and did nothing for his popped stitch. As the week went on, he continued to bleed and ooze. The incision was scabbing over, but was a really dark red/black color. I sent pictures. I called. (This is COVID so I couldn't go into the office) I was clearly annoying them because at one point they laughed and said "if you're so worried just go to the ER"…but I'd never done that before and thought that I must be overreacting, so I didn't go. A huge mistake that I regret now. Roughly a week and a half after his surgery, his entire leg swelled up and the entire incision site had a black scab over it. It was clear that it was horribly infected and I called, crying, for an appointment. I was told I needed to wait until the original doctor was in the office, which was 2 days later. When we finally were able to go in, the vet agreed that it was infected, told me that there was dead tissue and that Diesel needed antibiotics and a follow up surgery in 3 days. I asked her, multiple times, if she felt she could do that. I asked if I should go to a specialist instead. The first few times, she insisted she could do it. The last time I asked she said, and this is a quote, "I mean, I can do it, but if this were my dog I'd probably drive him over to the ER right now." I'll NEVER forget or forgive that. Ever. She would have sent me home with my best friend in the condition he was in, but if it were her own pet, she would have taken him to an emergency vet. I rush to the ER, where they run some tests and say that his lump is a low grade Mast Cell Tumor – one of the most common tumors that dogs get. They tell me that it's gone necrotic and is rotting inside of his body and they have to do emergency surgery right then and there to save his life and his leg. He ended up having 6 surgeries over the following 3 weeks to get rid of the infection, costing me about $7,000. I'd like to say it all ended there, but due to the incredible trauma that this originally very benign and slow growing tumor went through, it's actually mutated into a high grade tumor and grew back super quickly. Now he's on chemo and prednisone and I'm having to consider amputation because it's so big and angry. DON'T EVER LET A BANFIELD "VET" CUT INTO YOUR PET. They do not know their own limits and capabilities. This place is a vaccine and dental cleaning factory only. They will tell you that they are capable of doing things they are not, just to make more money.Courtney Harris
I was honestly so excited to bring my cats here! I scheduled my appt over the phone for today about 1.5 months ago. I received a call a week or two ago and just have completely misunderstood because she rescheduled my appointment for next Wednesday at 3- I am off Tuesdays and never make appointments for any other today. Today I called to figure out when my appointment actually was. He told me they could get us in at 11:15 for both cats because they had had a cancellation. I am in the middle of moving and needed to run to Tacoma to get some important items and I was going to be back before the appointment. Traffic was worse than usual so I would be back home at 11- no big deal – I live half a mile from this Banfield. But I wanted to trim my cats nails before bringing them in because they can be quite anxious, so I called Banfield and asked if I could drop them off at 11:30 (if she had said no, I would have just made my appointment no problem). She said that since Beetlejuice’s appointment was actually at 12:15 that it would be no problem, I told her I would definitely be there by 12:15 no problem and thank you! So I gathered my pets up and was on my way there when I noticed I had a voicemail asking if I was still coming and telling me I was late for my appointment- of course I was confused because I had just spoken with them an hour or so before. I called to clear up the confusion and was told “well our doctors are just really tied up right now so we needed you here by 11:15.” Had the person I talked to explained that there was no room to push back my drop off I would have made this appointment. I have been waiting over a month for this, it is my only day off in the middle of a very stressful move during my busiest time of the work year and this just totally ruined my day. I guess I will find another vet nearby as I was quite disheartened by the way this was handled.Molly Long
I will start by saying they were friendly and accommodating for the most part, but I think they didn’t listen well to my concerns. I told them I was concerned my dog ate a chocolate cookie or something that was obstructing her gut, they tested her for giardia and said she was fine, billed me 210$. A day later and my dog still has diarrhea and now blood in her stool, so we are at the pet emergency room. I am unable to access my visit summary and am unable to make a banfield my pet account with the email and phone number they contacted me with. I feel that there should be an order of operations in health care and if there is one, I don’t think it was followed here. I also cannot fathom why I can’t see my pets visit summary after receiving a notification it was available. How do I know if I was robbed or if I received decent care? Why would my well trained dog have giardia when she never drinks water unless I give it to her? My list of questions and disappointments is long.S G

Really caring staff and no BS. Check in process is easy and wait time is less than 5 min on a normal day . I really liked that the vet explained the issue my dog was having in bit more details rather than just prescribing a medicine . Everyone was super kind to Bella and showed so much love 💕! There are limited parking spots at the clinic but plenty of street parking available . Lastly I appreciated the follow up call to check how’s her ear infection 🙂 Bella was back to being a happy dog after few days of treatment 🐾Neha
Taking our cat to Lien Animal Clinic for annual exam and vaccinations was a great choice for us. Staff is very knowledgeable and kind. Dr. Wootton's and his assistant John's approach to our cat was really nice, I haven't seen my cat that much calm and relaxed with someone else before. They gave us valuable recommendations about our cat's health. From my experience with Lien Animal Clinic I could say that they are not after your money, they are after your lovely pet's health. I would definitely recommend them.Gülden T.
This Clinic is by far the best I’ve been too. Very considerate staff and open communication. Yes like all other clinics, they have been pretty booked up, but this is happening at almost every clinic around the nation. Definitely not just an issue at Lien. The negative reviews are clearly self entitled West Seattle residents that cry because they didn’t get what they wanted ! Highly recommend to contact these guys when they start taking new clients again.Ivan Chacon

I will always be loyal to Atlantic Vet Hospital. I was referred to them by my regular vet, after my dog of 13 years severely injured his leg. AVH was amazing and put my Dog first. AVH went above and beyond to help, not only to treat my dog but to educate me in the process. After my dog passed, I held everything they did for him in his last days dear to my heart. During the last year & a half without a pet, I referred everyone I know to AVH, confidently. I just got a new puppy 2 days ago. I rescued him from deplorable conditions and brought him straight to AVH (after his first bath). I have peace of mind after his first visit with Dr Cline and I’m excited to share the next years raising him along side the amazing care he’ll receive at AVH, I wouldn’t be able to do it without them. The whole staff truly cares, for people… and their pets. It’s such a wonderful feeling, just knowing I’m not alone. They helped me in the worst of times, and assured me I’m in good hands for the next chapter. Deepest heartfelt thank you to everyone at Atlantic Veterinary Hospital. For reference purposes, both dogs I mentioned here are from working dog breeds. It’s extremely rare to find excellent care providers with the patience necessary to help working dogs. It took me 17 years to find the quality of care my pets & my friend’s pets have received from Atlantic Veterinary Hospital.Monica Davis
My partner and I took our dog to veterinarian and physical rehab therapist, Dr. Munroe. For a first appointment, we were more than pleased and impressed with her. She was calm, kind, and gentle with our Newfoundland dog, Jupiter. She was thorough in being clear about the presenting issues, and providing us with various treatment options. We appreciated that she gave us complete autonomy to decide which treatment option we felt would be best and that addressed our financial limitations and still addressed his needs. We were touched that she gave so much of her time in this initial session and again, was extremely thorough about every aspect of this visit. We feel confident and at ease to have Jupiter in her care as we move forward. Thank you Dr. Munroe!D H
After months of visiting our past vet and being unable to diagnose my poodle’s symptoms and conditions, we finally came here for a second opinion. I was shocked to find that Dr Monahan knew what it was immediately. Says a lot about the last vet but also about Dr Monahan. She helped us when we thought our little poodle was on her death bed. And she helped us when there were flare ups and even called us in the evenings to check in. We are so grateful for this place and Dr Monahan. Our only hope is that as Covid scares reduce we can start going inside the building again instead of hanging out in the parking lot.Inshiya Clarke

I used Banfield for a long time mostly because it’s convenient to have my dog’s records and other things available to me. However, all the Banfield locations in WA are terribly busy because they’re understaffed or don’t have enough veterinarians (likely because they don’t pay them because of corporate greed). Last time I took my dog there, they had called me and asked me to reschedule for them 3 times. It took me 2 months to get him in for a yearly exam which took THE WHOLE DAY. I never saw or even talked to a vet, but on the report it said he had some teeth issues. If I hadn’t read the report, I’d never know. His records don’t show his weight, so I guess they just skipped weighing him? Avoid the corporate stuff and go somewhere local where people actually care about your pet.Connor Bowlan
I am so disappointed with the care that my cat received at this hospital. The vets don’t seem to take any responsibility for negative outcomes. My cat went in for a dental cleaning. They tried to place an IV before giving any sedation, which was obviously unsuccessful. After giving a sedating medicine, they shaved all four of her legs for an IV and were still unsuccessful so they canceled the procedure after thoroughly traumatizing her. I spoke with the office manager who did not seem to understand why I would be upset about this and did not express any form of apology until I specifically requested it. It’s been really hard to reach the veterinarian to get their account of what happened and why.Rachel Feldman
It's good if you have a puppy and get the puppy plan, which includes a spay. And the staff is nice. However, they're just so booked up all the time and everywhere that if something comes up that we need to get our pup seen asap you'll have to end up going somewhere else. We pay a monthly fee but don't feel like our pup can get seen unless we make the appointment way in advance, which doesn't really align with dog life. You get on a "cancellation list," but that doesn't work out either. When we've gone to other vets they're able to get us in much quicker. Overall, maybe worth it for the puppy plan but not worth the money outside of that because you'll likely have to go to another vet anyway.Sabrina Souza

Allpet Vet provides my fur family with the best care possible! My fur-baby Korben is like Samuel L. Jackson's charter "Mr. Glass", he is constantly hurting himself in the most silly ways. The last "episode" was when he got a bag stuck on his head, ran around the house like mad-man and tore his back middle claw out. Which then got infected (playing in litter constantly is his jam) so long story short we ended up having to come in once every two weeks for about two months. He needed antibiotics, anti-inflammatory meds and to flush the nail out, eventually a new nail grew back in but of course going the wrong direction so he had to be sedated and had the nail re-positioned. He is 100% better!!! Everyone took such great care of my baby, they were able to text me when I had questions and got him in right away, they were always transparent about cost and the cost was affordable. I recommend all my friends and family to Allpet. Thank you so much Allpet for taking such great care of my little man!Jacqui Johnson
This vet does NOT care about its pets and/or their owners at all. Not only do they provide inaccurate, inconsistent information (e.g., one of my pets had one type of disease in the morning, then a different one in the evening), they also have no respect for anybody's time. Recently, what was supposed to be a simple exam turned into a terrible experience–after making me waiting 45 minutes in the rain, they refused to provide any health updates on my pets. To make matters worse, Karen (not even the meme), the Doctor, came out and yelled at me for several minutes when I politely requested to get an update. She was incredibly rude, condescending, and slammed the door in my face when I tried to respond, without even listening to me. Taking your pets here would be an incredibly poor decision and I would NEVER recommend this vet to anybody. Please do NOT bring your pets here.Roger Ling
I have been taking my cat here since I adopted him.I wouldn’t take him anywhere else. The clinic itself is small and cute, it’s a very low stress environment for a nervous cat. The veterinarians there are very professional and well trained and the vet techs are awesome. Cassie at the front desk is absolutely lovely, such a warm and caring personality. I truly enjoy her presence. One of the things I love about this vet is they communicate through text. They give me updates on my cats treatment and always follow up the next day to see how he’s doing. Also, their prices are much more affordable than the other Vet Clinics in the area. You’re getting a better price without sacrificing the quality of care your pet is receiving.Jacqueline Schwartz

We recommend staying AWAY from this business due to extremely poor customer support. I needed to get our dog a quick vet appointment for his annual exam and this place provided walk-in appointment. So, we gave it a try but are very disappointed by their service. During our visit, the vet was in rush to get out of the room and I had to keep asking her to check on different parts of my dog. This was our annual exam and we expected the vet to do a thorough check up rather than trying to get out of the room asap. We decided to do a blood test and we were promised a call in the week after to discuss the result with the doctor. That never happened and when I tried to call them on 3 occasions, I had to wait for 45+ minutes each time without being able to talk to anyone. We also didn't even receive an invoice for our visit and when I asked them at the checkout, I was told that they will email it to us in 1-2 days which again never happened. I also asked for our after-visit notes and again was told that I'll receive them in a week which again never happened. In summary, we were not able to receive any of our test results, our invoice, our after-visit notes,… It is almost impossible to get hold of anyone there and despite me calling multiple time and waiting for 45+ minutes each time, I am still not able to get any support or follow up. We would never go back to this pace and do NOT recommend this place to anyone. UPDATE: I finally received my invoice and lab test result AFTER I posted my Google review. I was also contacted by Urban Animal and they mentioned some mix up with my email/number (which is weird since I had received both emails and phone calls from them before that). It is promising that they tried to fix the issue but they really need to improve their customer support and patients should be able to talk to their support in a reasonable time (and not waiting like me for 1+ hour on the call with no success). Same day appointment is a great idea and very helpful for pet owners and if the afterward follow ups and customer support can be improved, I am sure Urban Animals can become favorite place for many pet owners.Reza Shiftehfar
My cat has had persistent respiratory issues for weeks, so after calling around to every vet in the area and being told that none of them had appointments available for months, I took my boy to this clinic to be checked out by a vet. It was recommended to me by two veterinary offices that I called, so I felt comfortable giving it a shot. When I arrived, I was immediately greeted by a staff member who took my information quickly and painlessly, was kind and very informative. She told us that it might be about an hour wait, but we were inside of a room in no more than 20 minutes. The room itself was very clean (as was the waiting area), the vet's assistant was delightful and genuinely loved animals, and so was the vet herself. She sat us down and explained treatment options for our boy, in a more in-depth way than the other vet I used to see in West Seattle ever did. She even diagnosed a completely unrelated issue for us and gave us a quote on how to fix it, which we didn't expect at all but greatly appreciated! I was in and out of the office in a little over an hour- there was a bit of a wait towards the end, but it was obvious that they got super busy and I didn't mind. The pricing was also very reasonable. I honestly didn't have many expectations for a walk-in clinic, but they all seemed to handle the stress of getting busy out of nowhere very well and didn't compromise our pet's care at all because of it. I absolutely feel comfortable bringing the little guy back here, hopefully after his teeth cleaning I won't have to!Artemis Faeiryne
This is the only pet clinic that I know that accepts walk-ins in this area. The wait time during the workday is around an hour, might be longer in the evening and on the weekends. The staff is friendly and accommodating, and the doctors are knowledgeable. Definitely recommend this place 👍🏻 Update: have been using this vet clinic services for almost 5 months, the overall impression has changed drastically. First of all, you can't get in line via phone, you have to physically show up in the clinic to sign up. Doesn't really make sense. Secondly, even after you went to the clinic, got in line, drove all the way home and came back after 3h wait (after receiving SMS), you still will probably wait another 2h in the lobby. Additionally, good luck trying to reach out to them via phone call (no matter what time and day of the week you're calling). Even though the doctors there seem nice, this time waste is not worth it.Tatiana Levchina

They give quality care. They have excellent Vets like Dr. Kim. I had excellent care there for my service dog from 2010 thru 2018. They will communicate however is necessary to help you understand your animals needs and treatment options. They will take your concerns for your animal seriously and not dismiss them out of hand. I find working with their vet tech recently to be exceptional. Addressing concerns and helping with treatment. They work with you to provide care within your budget and are extremely transparent on needs vs cost so you are completely clear on future needs and expenses in regards to treatment for your animal. They will discuss all treatment options with you. They help highlight necessary critical/necessary care and help keep your buddy safe. They are very busy so you either need to be flexible about who you see (vet tech if vet tied up or different vet) or block out additional time to wait for care as needed. I block out full day in case. This is THE BANFIELDS on AURORA. Joining their monthly membership plan will help with costs. You only pay out of pocket for care outside membership coverage with 10 to 20 percent discount. Its worth going there versus somewhere closer. You can also leave your pet and they will notify you when done. They speak to you face to face and enter all pertinent concerns or information into computer right at desk during check-in. I miss the rooms but they have created a more than acceptable alternative.L Haverstuhl
Very disappointed in this place today. We’ve been bringing our dogs here for years and pay for wellness plans monthly. I had them here in just the past week in fact. Today I woke up to my elderly French bulldog with a terrible eye infection. The eye was oozing and badly swollen. I called and asked that she be seen as it is an eye and I felt it was very serious. I was told they could not see her for 8 days. I expressed my sense of urgency and was told the holidays brought a lot of new animals to their office and there’s just no time to see our dog. My dog has been seen here for nearly nine years. I think before you take on new clients you should be sure you have time for those who have been loyal to your business for years. Especially in a time of great need. To pay for your wellness plans monthly (4 currently) only to be referred to overpriced emergency clinics is frustrating. My last two emergency clinic visits rang up over $7000 in bills and the service wasn’t really all that great. Anyway, after calling every Banfield from North Seattle to Burlington and being turned away from them all. Again, we give you repeat business year after year so we are established and feel confident our animals will be cared for. I finally found a vet in Arlington (not affiliated with Banfield) that agreed to see to her this time. He said, she’s in a lot of pain and has a raging infection. Thankfully, they understood the eye needed treatment immediately.Ed Bliss
After being jerked around by my last veterinarian in Wedgewood constantly telling me that they couldn't get me in on the weekend for the annual exam or for my dog shots which are the only days off. I later found out that they tailored the weekends to high ticket items. Wanting to continue my dog's healthcare I look towards Banfield. Although Leary, I proceeded to go there. I was pleasantly surprised and how professional the staff was as well as how caring. The prices were not ballooned or inflated like my previous veterinarian. The doctor that took care of my dog was knowledgeable and actually came out to greet me. I'm totally pleased with the way Banfield has cared for my dog/family.Paul Shean

❤️ Physical therapy at Sound Veterinary Rehab Clinic has had an immensely positive effect on my senior pup's quality of life! ❤️ I can't say enough good things about the staff there and the welcoming environment! I was admittedly hesitant to commit to water treadmill therapy at first, unsure if I could justify the expense. Now I regret not starting sooner! My (rescue) dog is approximately 10 years old with severe arthritis and a partially fused elbow full of mystery metal. Before going to SVRC, I was under the impression his elbow was totally fused and that he should be pampered like he's fragile. I had even convinced myself that his leg would need to be amputated. Fortunately, I was wrong! The physical therapist Peggy has helped me build confidence in moving and massaging his "bad" leg. I used to insist he avoid putting pressure on that leg at all costs, now he'll eagerly offer the opposite paw to shake, grinning with pride. My dog LOVES going to physical therapy because the staff make it fun and rewarding. I'm personally a little jealous of the pool party, since the current pandemic precautions limit appointments to drop off only. I appreciate that Sound Veterinary Rehabilitation Clinic strictly adheres to CDC guidelines to reduce the spread of COVID19. Yet, they are still personable and patient, answering my rambling questions and even sending video clips of my dog on the treadmill. His progress is very impressive! I'm super grateful to Sound Veterinary Rehabilitation Clinic for their knowledge and support. Thanks everyone! Argus says hello!Ashley Douglas
I would give 10 stars if I could. My GSD had fully torn both of her CCL's when I brought her to Sound Rehab/Animal Surgical and I can not say enough about both groups. Not only was my dog taken care of beyond any expectation I ever had but she has had a pretty miraculous (to me anyway) recovery. Aside from the life long arthritis she will have due to her injuries she is as good as new. She runs and plays and isn't in any pain after having TPLO surgery on both of her knees and rehab after both at Sound. Dr. Knapp was an incredible vet and support system while my dog was a patient there and has continued to help me with questions/advice even long after. She is a wealth of knowledge and couldn't be more helpful and kind. The rehab experience post surgery was excellent. We did the underwater treadmill, laser treatment, and gym time and all were carried out by knowledgable, kind, and attentive staff. We worked most often with Vanessa who was beyond compassionate and supportive and her advice coupled with Dr. Knapp's is the only reason I decided to make a surgery consultation appt. as I was against the idea of surgery at first. I'm so glad I listened to them! I owe my dogs recovery to the team at Sound. I can't thank them enough to have my sweet girl back to her old self and feeling her best!Alex Schroeter
Sound Vet Rehab is fantastic! They are so accommodating with their schedule and making appointments with you and your pet in mind. We brought put 2 year old goldendoodle Penny here first at the direction of a surgeon who thought we should try physical therapy before putting our dog through surgery. We scheduled an initial consultation appointment with the head doctor at Sound Vet. She was kind and caring, helpful and told us exactly what Penny needed. We started taking Penny to PT every week for almost two months. Every time Penny walked through the door she was warming greeted by name and with a treat. The PT nurses were fabulous, making sure I was involved and knew exactly what exercises and movements Penny needed to be doing at home. At first my husband and I were nervous that the therapy wasn't do much for Penny but as we kept taking her I saw small improvements after every visit! And now almost a year later Penny is going on 4-5 mile runs, hikes and she is back to her active goofy self. Thank you Sound Vet! You should definitely trust your pet with Sound Vet Rehab.Audrey Hoonan
