Review Summary
The College of health care professions has been nothing but good experiences for me. From the moment you walk in everyone is so welcoming and sweet, to admissions team helping you understand every step of the way and helping you be prepared for what is coming, financial aid team for allowing you to not have to worry about paying for school till AFTER you have graduated from your program. And instructors who will always make sure that you are understanding everything that is being taught, as well as help you become a professional! I graduated in 2018 from Dental Assisting Program and Mrs. Garcia was and will always be an amazing instructor, without her I would not be where I am today. Today I am happy to say that I will be returning to CHCP to further my education and I could not be more excited! CHCP definitely gets you prepared for the career of your lifetime!Gabriela Lopez
I give this school 5 stars this school has literally changed my life! I went in just having questions about the programs available. The next thing you know, I started school that night with the pharmacy program. My program director along with the program teachers were always willing to pass on their knowledge and help in any way. So if you are curious about the programs and are ready to get started walk in and be ready to start! The staff is very welcoming! There are plenty of resources in case you are struggling with homework. The career services are there to answer any questions you may have pertaining to job placement and help you revise your resume. I appreciate everyone that I has helped me get to where I am at now!Elisa Ruiz
I've never had a more wonderful experience in a schooling system. The staff treat you like family and want you to succeed in every way possible. The hands on training was extremely informative, and when I had issues staff replied within 24 hours to help walk me through and/or fix whatever issue I was having. They also work with you to ensure you have options for employment, and before I knew it I was hired on before I was even finished with my MA externship. As long as you put in the work and dedicate yourself to learning the material, this school is honestly a wonderful choice.Max

Review Summary
I started school April and I’m close to going out to externship, but I have to say my journey with Pima has been a positive experience. You’re getting your hands dirty in labs, which is a nice because you aren’t sitting in a classroom trying to cram that information with flash cards. And having that prior experience before you leave for an actual job site will be extremely useful and beneficial for you once you hit the ground running. Not only do they help you focus on what exactly it is you need to start your future career in the field of your choosing, but their student resources are easy to access and have them help you with whatever questions you may have. Thank you Pima for helping me stay on track and helping me get one step closer to a job I am passionate about.Sheila Pulido
I had a great experience in this school. I started the journey without knowing what to do, and without expecting anything from me. This school made me fall in love with a career I never thought I would be in (Dental Assistant). Ms. Hicks made me feel welcomed since the first day, I got to her class, and had a great time. Dr. Cuellar and Ms. Leslie as well made enjoy going to school and wanting to learn everyday. They not only teach what you need to learn, but why you need to learn it too. Everything I saw in class, helped me be more prepared when I started externship, and it made it really easy. I now am in place I enjoy and have no problem being in, but this wouldn’t be possible the teachers and staff from Pima wouldn’t have helped a lot. Thank you, Pima!Nathan Rodriguez
Wonderful staff that very caring and helpful to make sure you have what you need to learn. The programs all start at a basic level so it's easy to get back up to speed if you've been out of school for a long time and they are very helpful at ensuring you have a solid start to your chosen career. The pharmacy program was a delight and I've never been so excited to go to class, Mr D is a great teacher and is always available to assist if you're struggling. I learned a lot very quickly during my program and Mr D made the whole experience fun and enjoyable. It was still hard work but as long as you're willing to put in the effort I'm confident PIMA will get you where you want to go 😁Steven Watt

Review Summary
This school is a joke when it comes to the Diesel Heavy Truck program. You will not learn what you think you need to for the Diesel field. The recruiters do a good job selling you the dream and lying about everything. You will not be certified Diesel Technician, you will get a diploma saying you completed the 1 year course. $23,000 down the drain, and if you don’t finish paying the school by the time you graduate you will not receive your diploma. This program is a joke your better starting off at a shop we’re they will train you. Half of the stuff they have in the shop does not work, They don’t have the proper equipment in the shop they seem to get a lot of pass down equipment from the automotive side. Half of the time class in class you go over basic math such as plus, multiplication, and division it’s a joke. They expect you to learn from a book and not give you the proper hands on training they should. I honestly wouldn’t recommend this program to anybody if I can go back and start over I will. Guaranteed this program is not ready to be even teaching, I never see the head instructor working or teaching anything in this course he’s always in his classroom or just leaning on a table. Only one instructor that knows what he is talking about in his teaching methods everybody else is a joke, But even then all that money is not worth it for that one instructor whole diesel program is to get you ready for a entry level job in the field, no shops are looking for entry level tech your better off starting in a shop believe me when I tell you “don’t” again I wouldn’t recommend this for anyone.Frank Ram
Yes a humble day class is at 1 but I'm gonna be late only because I have an interview at 2 for red lobster and to get hired is to maintain a good positive attitude and since I'll be on bus I can come to class now if Mr Rogelio will reach out to me and meet my professors or and put my hours in early just for today but being former college grad attendance is everything so I ask for my interview to be 11 just to make it to school so If I can have advice from my counselor I would love to know a cousenlor and humble clue to what can be my options I can be there at 10 an spend time than stay late to finish my day but college is all about grades so I think I'll just scare my classmates show up late but stay to finish while I work on a 4.0 GPA Good luckMichelle Garcia
Would not recommend anyone going here to get there CDL or any classification for that matter. The CDL instructor is racist. She kept telling us stories of her bad experiences with minorities. The whole time we were in class all Paulette would do is talk about how much more money she gets compared to the other instructors. The entire time we were training in the truck she was in her car talking on the phone. I walked in with just as much knowledge I left with. The women at the front desk would put me on hold then never return to phone. All around terrible experience. Luckily I Road Master has taken me in and now I’m able to get certified there.Jeilan Carradine

I am a student in the MOA program and my experience at concorde I would say it has been amazing. The staff are always willing to help the students to help them succeed and answer any questions they have.If anyone ever has a bad day Stacie and Mari are always open to donating some of their time to the students and help them talk about any issues that they need help with in their personal life. The instructors are very aware of their students and make sure that each and everyone is passing their classes. If you need to find a job in order to survive while attending school Ms.Danielle is always open to helping those who need to find one.Since my second MOD I have been a member of the lamplighter program which is a student leadership program where students help one another including their peers in class and help mentor them as well as help them in anything they need.We lamplighters are always at the service of students and staff if there is ever anything they need help with. If anyone is interested you can come to the campus and make an appointment and explore the campus feel free to go on the website and take a look at the programs we at concorde have to offer!Pedro Beltran
The dental hygiene program here is absolutely wonderful. Our teachers and program director are amazing. But I am giving two stars because of the issues I’ve had with financial aid. It feels almost impossible to get an appointment with them and everything is so confusing. I understand everyone is short staffed but I have been trying to get ahold of my financial aid person for a month. Not only are they hard to get ahold of but they have said things such as “you need to get a job” if we ask to take a loan out for living expenses. Don’t they think we would get a job if we could? The program is full time there’s absolutely no time to get a job. I’m honestly just hurt that they treat us that way when we spend 73k on this program.Leah Broyles
I took a night class. The instructor always wanted to go home early. so instead of teaching us hands on, he just read over the instructions. When i and several others in my class took the tour, they said we would practice on dummys before we drew blood on each other. They lied. "The equipment doesnt work" is what we were always told. Towards the end of your last mod they crammed both badge tests and extern sites. We weren't notified if we got into our externs until the last day of class. Really nerve recking to the students who had to quit their jobs or try to notify their jobs of the schedule changes. The extern hours change constantly.Heather Gallagher

Review Summary
Snap staff is always so polite with a smile on their faces which is always welcome. I have a 105 pound 3yr old and he's a good dog, but very curious. So I'm busy keeping control of him while watching for other pets passing by. The staff knows he's a sweet dog that likes to see everyone and I appreciate their kindness and patience. The two Vets that we have seen the last 2 yrs since I adopted him have been very knowledgeable, helpful, answered ALL my questions which made me feel like they cared and had mutual respect. Their prices are reasonable which is what brought me to SNAP to begin with when he needed to be neutered. Our previous Vet had quoted estimate $1,100. Another one said $785. In 2020 got done here for about $200. I definitely would recommend SNAP. This is pic of prices on the board from today. We live about 13 miles away, but don't mind driving the distance because it's good highway driving which is good for a car that's not driven much.Debra Collins
So professional, kind and genuinely care about your fur babies. Stephanie checked me in and she was amazing. I didn’t catch the girls name who provided me post op instructions, but she was very thorough as well. They even provided me with a e-collar as well as pain medications. They even trimmed her nails! Other clinics were charging around 300 for the spay and $20 for the cone. I paid a total of $150.Navneet Singh
This is a place to get wellness visits/spay and neutering done for your cats and dogs. There are no illnesses treated. The staff is efficient while in the office. Phone calls are rarely answered or messages returned. Best just stop in and talk face to face. Appointments can be made on their website. If the date you need isn't available at the time you look, try again on Friday.NICOLE PERMENTER

Review Summary
We first started coming here when my dog needed urgent care about 4 years ago. I had moved from Austin about a year before that and had bounced around several vets, unable to find the right one. Dr. Ann took time to see my Chloe even though they were booked solid, Chloe was not an established patient, and there was only one vet staffed that day. They let me drop her off so that she could be fit in between appointments. Dr. Ann called me several times throughout the day to update me and thoroughly explained Chloe’s condition and treatment options. She is genuine and caring, and you can tell she truly cares about the well being of her patients. Since then we’ve also seen Dr. Hale, who is just as wonderful. The office staff is the best; they are always friendly and helpful. They offer boarding as well and all dogs that are there for the day, or overnight, are walked regularly and given lots of attention. My dog actually whines with joy as soon as we pull onto the street. She loves going to the vet. 😂 They are pricier than others but you get great care, great customer service, and they never aggressively push products or services on you. They also have a convenient app with rewards. I drive quite a bit out of my way to go here when there are dozens of options within 5-10 minutes of my house, but I wouldn’t take my girl anywhere else. 🐶Chantel R
Loop 410 Vet is the absolute best in EVERY way! In the 20 years that I have had pets I have never been to a vet whose entire staff shows so much love, compassion and knowledge. Every single member of the team is an absolute joy to interact with. The office staff is sweet, patient and compassionate. The vet techs are extremely knowledgeable and supportive during tough appointment visits where intense decisions need to be made. The doctors take their time and go above and beyond to get to the root of any health issues your let may be experiencing. They are very well educated and make you and your pet feel safe and secure. The customer service here is outstanding. Dr. Ray and Dr. Anne went to great heights to ensure my two geriatric pets had the best end of life possible. I cannot thank this staff enough for all they have done for us. They are truly amazing people and I tell EVERYONE with pets that this is where they need to go.Michael Gonzalez
Thank you for everything you did for Baldr. He is healing very good. He is starting to get back into his daily routine. This was the first time we have been to Loop 410 Vet Hospital. We were a little nervous about finding a good place to bring Baldr. I spoke with a gentleman on his way out who stated that he has been bringing his animals here 40 years. We talked awhile and he had high regards for about Ann MacFarlane. My feelings are that this Veterinary Hospital has been doing business for a long time and the staff showed me that they really care about us. Thank you all. 😊James Waldele

Review Summary
The only place that cared about my dying dog. My family’s dog’s health took a sharp decline rapidly over the last week. I called over 10 veterinarian offices in my area with good or better reviews. Despite the good reviews of these various locations I was greeted with nothing but indifference to my dog’s plight. I was most often told “We don’t handle emergency visits, we’re booked up until next week.” Most couldn’t even offer a tone of sympathy to their voices as they turned us away. Even our previous veterinarian office, St. Francis, wouldn’t make an effort to squeeze us in. We were devastated to know we would be losing our dear friend but all the more it was gut wrenching to see his degradation and profound suffering continue. How lucky we then were to have called Great Northwest Animal Hospital. They were the only ones that could be bothered to give us the time of day. They showed us compassion and sympathy. They asked questions to grasp the situation before taking the time to give advice and recommendations. Given the urgency of our situation they were so kind as to even text us the information to an animal ER that may have been able to get us in sooner. We ended up setting up an appointment with them for the very next day and they even went so far as to offer to call us that day if they had any cancellations. Everyone we spoke to and everything they offered was so far above and beyond everyone else we had contacted previously it was shocking. On the actual day of our appointment there was no inconstancy from office staff, to the Doctor’s assistant to the Doctor herself everyone was kind and communicative. Their temperament was that of tender understanding and you could tell from the tone of their voices and mannerisms they did all they could to help ease our trepidation. The doctor explained the dire state of our dog’s health and our options emphasizing what was best for him and his quality of life. In the end we couldn’t have been luckier to have come to Great Northwest Animal hospital. If his suffering was to come to an end I don’t think anyone could have handled our dog better and honestly us for that matter. My son was with our pet in his final moments and despite being quite devastated I don’t know how it could have gone more smoothly. You really could feel the compassion from all the staff. I can’t imagine a better veterinarian office exists and I know my family will continue to be patients of their’s for as long as possible. Thank you so much Mrs. Jill, Mrs. Alyssa, Dr. Wright and everyone at Great Northwest Animal Hospital from the bottom of our hearts. -Damian, Trent and Lynda GlasgowDamian Glasgow
I found Dr. Michele Wright through my sister-in-law who is a veterinarian in New Mexico. They had attended some of the same conferences, and I was in quite a bind. My very ill Dad was in the hospital, and we'd had his poor dog fall sick in the same week. I'd taken him to an emergency vet in town who gave him some medicine but told us he was otherwise fine. It seemed really dubious based on the tests they performed paired with his lingering symptoms but we hoped it was the case. Unfortunately he was not fine, and Dr. Wright figured out a way to get me an appointment to come in right away. I was splitting my time being in the hospital with my Dad full time while also dealing with our dog and she took extra time out of her day to help us. Though we sadly ended up having to say goodbye to our sweet pup that day, Dr. Michele was so incredibly compassionate, kind, caring, knowledgeable, and patient. I knew that I would be returning with my other animals for all my needs after that. The entire staff is very friendly, professional, warm, and kind and I truly feel like my pets are getting the best possible care there. When you're going through a really stressful or hard time and someone goes above and beyond to help you like Dr. Wright and her staff did, it's a bigger gift than one can even say and something I'll never forget.Arian Brumby
My cat who is only 7 months old began to act very lethargic overnight. I wasn’t sure what was wrong with her. So I waited a couple of days thinking maybe she would get better on her own. But as day 3 came around without improvement, I knew it was time to take her to be seen by a doctor. I called everywhere and nobody had anything available for weeks. Then I called Great Northern Animal Hospital and they were able to get us in the very next morning. Upon my arrival to the clinic, we were quickly greeted and receptionists got us checked in quickly. They ran vitals and my fur baby had a very high fever. To make sure she’s okay we decided to get X-rays done and blood work. Which didn’t take too long. However, a little pricey. The wellness exam itself is only $60. But beyond that another &500+. They do offer $10 off when you write a review on google. Results of my fur babies X-ray came back quickly and staff provided me with all options available to take care of my cat and get her back to feeling 100%. The staff were gentle and friendly through out the visit. The clinic itself is very clean and well lit. I would recommend to others.Amber Williams

"Here at Huebner Oaks Veterinary Hospital, we offer full service veterinary care, including vaccinations, preventive care, and emergency care. We also offer a full-service boarding kennel. Our doctors are trained in all aspects of small animal surgery, internal medicine, radiology, ultrasound technology and endoscopy. Our clients and their beloved pet friends are always our number one priority."
Review Summary
I have nothing but great things to say about Huebner oaks! After moving from out of town away from another vet we loved I was very anxious about finding another we would love just as much and they have exceeded my expectations! Starting their facility is very very clean and kept up. You can tell they actually clean the floors from doggie accidents, it’s not like walking into other vets and you’re hit with an overwhelming smell of urine. Second, and most important to me, my dogs have been so thoroughly taken care of. When my puppy was sick Lauren made sure I was brought in so he can be seen and treated, rather than making me wait and worry he didn’t get sicker at home. I could tell she truly cares about your animals just as much as you do. If they cannot see your dog they will offer recommendations to their sister vet offices that are still very reputable and will take the same care of your dog as they would. If you read their poor reviews, most of the complaints are price. I’m assuming those reviews are made by people who do not understand how expensive dog, puppies and cats can get. Even after taking a sick puppy in for treatment and medication, and having heart worm treatment options discussed for another dog, I can still say they are reasonable for the amount of care your animal gets. Lastly, we LOVE Dr. Liekie and her staff, especially Lauren!!!Genn Lopez
I had my first experience with this vet hospital this past weekend. Our family had to make the difficult decision to put our beloved Rocky to rest after 18 yrs of friendship. From the initial phone call for information and throughout our difficult time this hospital was so compassionate, helpful, thoughtful and made the experience as painless as they could. They prepared a room for us to be with our beloved Rocky, they came in and talked with us about our life with Rocky and assured us we were doing the right thing. The doctor explained in details the process, what to expect and then gave us more time with our pet. Never once did they rush us for the room or push us out the door. We are extremely grateful for this wonderful team of animal lovers and highly recommend them to anyone who needs help with their animals. Thank you huebner oaks vet hospital for all that you did for Rocky and our family.Catherine Morin
I took my baby girl Karma in to see Dr. Zbun at Huebner Oaks veterinary Hospital yesterday right before they closed because she broke a nail. It was split all the way down the middle. And the doctor took such good care of her. I was having a really rough day and all of the staff and the doctor went out of their way to make me feel better. dr. Zbun even wrapped up Karmas little foot and decorated her bandage depicting her costume Harley Quinn. These people are amazing. I absolutely love them and I think that if anybody wants a really good veterinarian hospital they should go see them. Their prices are reasonable and they take really good care of my pets. Thank you Huebner Oaks best veterinarian hospital I love you!!! And Karma and LOKI love you too!!! 🙏♥️💋💕 ❤️😇Dylan Lowry

I have a stray cat that I have fed over the years that became severely ill with some type of skin infection. It is very difficult to catch the cat, especially since he has gotten sick. He often only showed up late at night or on the spur of the moment. I called numerous vets and explained the situation and the need to be able to bring the cat in when I was able to catch him. I was repeatedly met with other vet offices telling me they could only make an appointment (usually days in the future). I explained how this would not work and the need for the cat to receive much needed medical care. I begged other offices for a walk-in appointment when I was able to catch the animal. Repeatedly I was told they could not help me and to just go to an emergency clinic which i could not afford. City Vet told me to bring him in when I could get the animal and they would attend to him. I brought him in at the spur of the moment and the vet met me as I walked in and took the cat immediately. She treated the cat and was very kind, thorough and helpful. I cannot say enough good things about City Vet and the care, hospitality and the much needed flexibility they graciously provided!! I will be moving all 5 of my other animals to City Vets care.Frank Sheppard
I do not recommend this vet. It is all about price gouging and not genuine pet care. I am all about paying for quality care for my pets, and had to bring my cat here for nasal congestion because the established vet down the street didn’t have availability soon enough. They told me he needed a chest scan (for over $100 more than the vet that is way more established) then $200 for a radiologist to look at said scan (because apparently the vet couldn’t read it well enough?) and then an additional $200 for bloodwork. Plus the cost of medicines, etc. I stopped them after the chest x ray, which they insisted showed my cat had asthma (he is one year old and has never had a single symptom of that) and all in all it ended up being a $500 vet visit. For nasal congestion. We ended up asking for an antibiotic and that completely cleared him up, with nothing else needed. The techs are nice people, but that’s it. I would never recommend this vet. They are just trying to take advantage of people that are trying to get care for their pets.Michelle Frederick
I was recommended by a friend, to book with Sarah at CityVet for grooming! It was the BEST Experience…From the customer service to the quality of the cut! We took our labradoodle and he came out looking even better than we expected! When meeting Sarah, I loved that we were able to talk with her about matting on his ears and how she could best take care of that… as well as the type of cut we were looking for. To our surprise she spent extra time on his ears so rather than having to completely shave the hair she was able to brush it out enough to leave hair on his ears. He’s the softest he’s ever been and we look forward to being regular customers!Nicole Samudio

I brought my dog Benji here because he was sick and recently left a different vet because of a negative experience so this place was recommended to me. It was definitely a positive experience coming here. All the staff was so nice and it's very obvious they are happy to be there which says a lot about a business. The tech that handled my dog (I can't remember his name) was so so nice and sweet to my dog. He had to walk him to the back without me a few times since Benji needed to have an x-ray and ultrasound done and he was totally comfortable with it. Especially considering those can both be intimidating experiences for a dog. Each time Benji came back to me clearly happy. Dr. Stricklin was also very nice and sweet with Benji and was very thorough and answered all my questions with clarity. I've already booked him and my other two pets to return for their anuals here and planning to make this their long term vet. They also have plenty of potty space outside and a gated potty area as well.Christina Figueroa
In your area caring for my son post surgery. His dog suddenly became seriously ill and as it was Sun, we took him to an ER vet. A horrific 10.5 hour wait, only to be discharged. But, this isn’t their review. The staff encouraged us to bring him in prior to our appointment time as we knew he would not last until then. On arrival, staff quickly loaded him onto a gurney and an exam quickly confirmed he was gravely ill. The Dr explained options and gave us honest answers. My son made the most difficult choice to euthanize him. EVERYthing was handled with utmost respect , compassion and professionalism. Due to driving limitations, we requested a slightly faster return of his ashes to which they graciously honored. As promised, we received a lovely box with his name carved in the lid as well as a paw print impression. I would absolutely direct anyone to Babcock for veterinary care. If there was a 10 star rating, I would give it. Thank youCindy Dollarhide
We absolutely love Babcock Hills Vet. The entire staff team has always been kind, caring, responsive and excellent at communicating changes, updates and responding to questions and concerns. We recently took our pup in for a sick visit and received a follow-up email to check in on him, which I just thought was so excellent and thoughtful. We have seen multiple vets here and they’ve all been wonderful, however, we absolutely adore Dr. Gomes. She is so genuine, kind and very informative. She remembers things we share about our lives and our pup, which is evident in the subsequent visits. Her recommendations are always in the best interest of our pup and she never hesitates to provide resources/research, etc. I appreciate how she speaks warmly yet professionally to us and how she treats our pup and makes him feel comfortable at the office. I highly recommend this vet and wouldn’t take our pup anywhere else.Jessica Glossop

I took my kitten to Thrive twice and will not be considering coming back. The first wellness visit was great. Dr. Katz and her practitioner were very professional and patient with us. Since she’s still a kitten & nervous about going outside, they gave her treats and cheese to calm her down before the vaccine. And she took the shot so calmly without showing any pain. We had extensive conversations around kittens and they showed genuine care about her (which was the only reason I came back for the 2nd time). The second visit was so disappointing. We had a different doctor and practitioner (Dr. Amy Priour). She didn’t ask much questions about her and only put down a little bit of salmon paste on the table, then proceeded to gave her the shots when she was apparently still trying to relax and getting used to this place. My kitten was showing PAIN, struggling and trying to get away, but Dr.Amy gave her 2 shots in a row without trying to calm her down. They only talked about the flea prevention just so they can prescribe it for profit. Other than that, they just rushed through the process without showing any care which was very unprofessional. Thrive charges REQUIRED PHYSICAL EXAM for vaccines for $45 and REQUIRED CLINAL SUPPORT for $9.5 so you have to pay for that every visit. However the entire visit was less than 10mins, and the physical exam given by Dr.Amy Priour wasn’t even thorough. And my kitten was struggling with the shots due to them being IMPATIENT and RUSHING to get the job done. They didn’t even provide us with an invoice (for insurance) before we left, and had to call to ask for it. My kitten was extremely upset and anxious after the visit (which has never happened before). If you care about your pet, take your pet to somewhere that truly shows the same amount of care to them, otherwise they don’t deserve to touch any animal.Meredith W
I loved this place when they were Thrive Affordable vet care. I was able to get my first kitten set up with checkup, shots, spaying, the works at a very good price. Two years later when I have brought in kitten #2, they dropped Affordable from the name, are changing from Thrive to VetCo, and my experiences with these changes have been awful! I haven't even gotten to the spaying surgery costs yet, and I have spent more than double the total care costs of my first cat. I have been misquoted for care on every visit. They have a call center with wildly inaccurate information, but the front desk also gives a different number than you get charged once you are back in a room. Most of the staff have remained friendly, but have seemed just as frustrated and confused with the pricing. I am now looking for another place to do the spaying. I don't think we will be using this company any longer.R. Russell
The doctor with the blonde hair. Sorry for her name. When I walked in with my pup chihuahua she gave me the best diagnosis she should give me due to me not being able to afford the excessive medical treatment he needed to have a full recovery from aspiration pneumonia. She did what she could and was honest with me about what his outcome could be. She made the decision to add another antibiotic and the next day my dog could breathe again. Each day got better and better. She even called me back to answer any questions about what to do next. She fitted me in as a walk in when she didn't have too. This is the best vet I have ever had and I want her to see all my pups ad long as I live. Not pricey either. Thank you, you guys for bringing champion back to life.JEnnAy B

I love the vets…I have never had an issue with them or their abilities to take wonderful care of my fur babies. I would also like to make a specific shout out to McKenna (sorry if I spelled it wrong, girl!). She has ALWAYS been so kind and attentive to my dogs and to me when I have been worried for them. She is there as a listening ear and to be extremely helpful with whatever I need and I couldn't be more appreciative of her. Give her a raise. My biggest issues have always been with other front staff members. They never have their phones on when they open, and once when I called them out, I was lied to and basically called a liar. They have a serious issue with answering phones and it happens so often that I have considered moving vets. Writing this at 816 AM after calling 4 times and getting a vm saying they aren't open. YES THEY ARE. Editing to add…it is now 838 AM and their phones are still off. Called another one to see if their phones matched their Google hours and they do. This happens every time I try to call in the morning. Editing again…915AM and still off. Edit (9/5/22): I did end up having someone reach out to try and talk about the issue to have it resolved, but after some back and forth it never happened. That's okay, though, because all I really wanted was for them to start turning their phones on when they are listed as open. Since my original review, I haven't had another issue like this again. Their phones are always on at opening time, and I've had good experiences with new and familiar front staff members. It seems like they've put in effort to fix the front staff issues and it is GREATLY appreciated. Still a loyal client, and I'm very happy with the care my pets recieve. I'm happy to update this with a much better rating.Ashley Chamartin
So Banfield Hospital is terrible for pet deaths, at least in our experience. Make sure you read the fine print, because that was our mistake. So when your pet dies, you still have to pay out the rest of the wellness plan you had them on. Every month, until it's paid off, you get a monthly reminder for a payment for an animal you no longer have (as if our grief wasn't enough of a reminder). We understand paying for our pet's plan that's still alive, but our deceased one? Where is your understanding of this? Plus they don't take care of any kind of expenses like crematorial if your pet passes away. They just roll them up in a blanket, hand them back, and say 'they are sorry for your loss'. Customer service, manager, doctor, whoever, all basically say 'when you signed the paperwork,in the fine print, it says even in pets death, you must pay off wellness plan'. I should have read the fine print, that's my mistake. We should have asked more questions, but we didn't think we would need to ever be doing something like that, at least not for awhile. It should be something that is mentioned and discussed when signing up, because people aren't thinking of their pets' death, just their care, at the time. I get you're a business (yes hospital, but felt no remorse, more business like with the pay situation), but no compassion or empathy for these type of situations is very off putting and upsetting. Never will we be using them for pet care/needs when we're done paying off our late pets and current pets wellness plans, have no choice but to pay off or they'll send to collections.Cassandra Harshaw
I have mixed reviews regarding this location. I love Dr. Dobson and she is the only reason I am still there for the moment til my plans runs out. I have 5 pets under plans and often brought my animals in at one time. Im an older so this makes it easier to have 1 or 2 trips in as I have my daughter come with me or she takes mine with hers. This is extremely helpful!! One call from the doctor! This was the process for years!! But recently they changed their policy limiting to 2 pets at one time. So 9 pets between me and my daughter will now have 5 separate trips!! At minimum! ..its very frustrating as their comp exams are now staggered throughout the year and the counter staff has been extremely rude. If things do not change I will be looking for another vet. Update: I actually did email on July 5th and received a auto response that it's been forwarded but I have not gotten any response further.Dawn McRae

I have been to two other vets in the last year. One of those, twice. Neither could tell me what was wrong with my fur baby. I provided pictures and they would shrug it off and make me feel crazy. Kitty hawk did the complete opposite. They listened to what I had to say. They acknowledged the pictures I provided and help find what was wrong with my baby and provided a solution. I was expecting the procedure to cause thousands. To my surprise the price is reasonable. I'm so happy to finally have answers and move forward with getting my dog the help he needs. Thank you kitty hawk for actually caring about my fur baby.Brittany Bridges
I usually don’t do reviews, but the Kitty Hawk staff has exceeded my expectations!! If I could give them ten stars, I would. My dog Bobo had an emergency, and the people there were SO helpful and loving with my dog. After his procedure, he had to stay a while at the hospital to come down from the sedation medication. To make him comfortable, they went as far as letting him lay on top of a heating pad and a blanket, and he was treated with so much love and gentleness. Kitty Hawk is not only professional, but they make your time with them very personal and genuinely care about their job. ❤️Brianna Huseman
Was very happy with our visit. I have a elder dog and Dr. Kline discussed several options for many her more comfortable in old age. We had annual physicals for both dogs with all shots and he was very thorough and talked us through for each pet. The entire crew was polite, professional, courteous, knowledgeable and very helpful. They even came to tell us that he was running late due to an emergency surgery. Even so we never felt rushed as everyone was catching up. We have been going here for all all pets and will keep doing so.sue pearce

I called on Monday and scheduled for Friday, I confirmed via email, never received a call from them. My boyfriend shows up for our 4pm confirmed appointment (I took a screenshot of the confirmation so he would know when and where to take our 6 week old puppy). They check him in then 30 mins later they tell him I never confirmed the appointment and that they are to busy to see pur puppy and rescheduled the appointment to next Friday. I called them to talk to them because I was upset because my puppy needs her first vaccine and they basically tell me it's my fault because I never confirmed. I told them I confirmed via email and if they weren't even checking emails why did they send one to confirm. I asked for my deposit back so I could take my puppy elsewhere because they handle the situation poorly. They told me I had to prove it or show them where I confirmed it by in order to give me back my deposit. When I email it to her and she gets it she basically told me that system was not working and thats what she was afraid of. I'm sorry but they should make sure they're system is working otherwise how many clients are gonna have to be "rescheduled " if they don't have a proper confirmation system. They also told me that they called me twice and left 2 voice-mails which I NEVER received. Luckily they refunded my money but what kind of business doesn't have a proper confirmation system. I will never come here nor will I refer anyone to come here. It's ridiculous.Sam G
I called this vet for 3 days straight and no one answered. So I decided to do a walk in(as they claim are welcome) and was then told that I must have an appointment. Made the appointment for the next day but have to put down a $35 deposit for each pet(2x) which was no problem at all. So now it’s Tuesday the day of my appointment but I had a unexpected family emergency. Of course I called the clinic literally all day to cancel but Per Usual no one answered the phone. I don’t understand how you can run a business and literally never answer the phone 😂. So this morning I called again over and over. Called their other location and they connect me through to them. Finally someone answered only to be told that my deposit is no good anymore because I didn’t CALL AND CANCEL😳😳Are you SERIOUS🤦🏽♀️There is absolutely no way possible for someone to call and cancel a appointment within 24 hours when the appointment was made within that same 24 hours😂on top of you all never answering your phone. I lost $70. Honestly I should have not bothered with this place after never getting them on the phone for 3 days prior to walking in, but because of the good reviews I tried. Reality is I rather take my fur babies to a place that can atleast take out the time to pick up their phones.Especially when they charge you for not canceling but don’t ANSWER THE PHONES FOR PEOPLE TO CANCEL OR SCHEDULE 🤡Rosai Lollipop
So my husband and i took our 9week old pit bull puppy to get her first round of shots including her parvo shot. My puppy had a healthy appetite and had a beautiful loving playful personality before taking her to potranco vet clinic. We were told if any reactions to the vaccines to let them know.My pup started to sleep more often and stopped eating and drinking. We knew she wasn't good. Then she started to throw up the medication from the vaccines and popped blood. I called the vet to let them know. They said there was nothing they could do but they will see her. The response they gave me was so disappointing and heartbreaking. I will never take another animal to this vet again. Yall have been warned ⚠️Sabrina Valdez

I had taken my mom‘s 17 year old Chihuahua to be seen because that day our regular vet was closed. He had jumped off the bed and hurt himself we weren’t sure exactly what was wrong. When we took him in we had to stay in the car, and they took him in by himself. Before we had taken him in he was limping a little bit on his front leg and he cried when we had picked him up so we figured maybe it would be better just to take him in. When they brought him back out they had given him a shot actually two shots and gave him pain medication. The next day he was worse than when we had brought him in. Very unhappy he couldn’t even move his back legs and when he would try and drink water he would fall into his water bowl, he would urinate on the floor and fall into it. I understand he’s 17 but he wasn’t like that, or might I say that bad until we brought him there. I understand that they try and did what they could but I don’t know what they gave him because they took him in by himself nobody said we could go in with him or do anything of the sort. We did wind up taking him back I contacted them, we brought him back in and we had to euthanize him because he was so bad . He just laid there wouldn’t even look at us when his name was called nothing he was just either doped up or just staring out into space it was horrible. I have never had that happen at any vet that I have gone to. It is so sad and we miss our baby so much .Dawn S
This place is amazing and I can't recommend them enough. The customer/fur baby care here is as good as it gets. My dog and I were new to North Star and had recently come in for a quick exam where we were handled with the greatest of care. Some days later, my dog fell ill and was in a really bad way. North Star had me in there to see the vet within an hour of me calling in. Unfortunately my dog's health was in such bad decline that we ended up putting him down that day. It was a horrible time, having to let go of a pet; and a new one at that. Not many people have seen me cry but I was a hot mess and I didn't spare any tears that day. Dr. Pittman and Julio rose to the occasion and comforted me as best they could for me being a complete stranger in tears and making my ugly cry faces. They loved on my dog and poured into me while I was there. This could have been a much more traumatizing time for me and my pet yet North Star handled it so well that it was obvious that they were trying to spare me as much as possible. Sorry for the hot mess that I was and thank you for the tender care while we were there yesterday. I quickly learned the value of a good vet and they've earned my future business when I bring new 4 legged friends into my life. Thank you for being there for us yesterday. You're the blessings that we needed.Mike Previtera
They saw my dog immediately, without a long wait and worked with me on what we could afford at the time. There was a 4 hour wait at another local hospital, during the peak of closures and I was so pleased they saw my dog, due to a concern we needed addressed immediately. Their prices aren't any different than any other vets in the area. I was being charged at another local vet, for items we didn't need but North Star Animal Hospital had her records and made sure to charge us for what we needed. This is my second year, using them and I plan on being a lifetime customer. Everyone is nice, professional, polite and the doctor will come out to your car, to discuss with you, what they recommend.Claudine Meinhardt

Review Summary
I first found out about Sit Means Sit from a friend. She explained that she went through the program and it worked out very well in her favor. After getting some info I was a little uncomfortable about using a e- collar but I saw the results and how happy the dogs were and it convinced me to give it a try. We started towards the end of Dec and I dropped my pitty off 2 times a week for 8-hour periods. I loved the way all the trainers accepted and loved her and her “scary” bark. They took her on trips to local places and the trainers didn't even bat an eye like some places do when they see a pit bull. After the first 2 weeks we saw an amazing improvement. My dog, Cookie (5 yrs old), had some manners but we wanted to work on her being so protective. She responds so much better to my commands and has gotten use to the collar. She actually gets excited when we bring it out because we use treats and we are responsible with the setting we have it on. I love the fact that her numbers on the settings have gotten lower since she listens a lot better. I have had people judge my dog before and this place did not do that. Instead they are always there to help me work on things and genuinely want what's best for me and my dog. I especially love the group classes designed for aggressive dogs. We have only been to 5 group classes and she no longer chases cats, barks at other dogs, or tries to scare off things that get too close. I am so proud and happy we chose Sit Means Sit.Angela Quillian
We got more out of training our dogs than we thought possible!! We have two pit mixes. One of them was new to our home from a shelter, and we soon discovered some impulse-control issues (jumping fences, barking and lunging at dogs on walks, barking at people coming into our house). We sent our dogs to Sit Means Sit with the hopes of fixing these behavioral issues and bringing home two well-trained boys; we were not disappointed! We worked primarily with Erin and feel that she connected with the dogs on a deeper level than we expected a trainer would. After our first lesson, she told us our dogs would be able to hold "place" command for 30 minutes, and we thought she was crazy, but time and again we've been so impressed with the progress our dogs have made! Not only did Erin interact well with the dogs, but she understood them and cared for them, too, which made the experience that much better. We were so impressed with her professionalism and devotion and are amazed everyday at the progress our dogs have made! We highly recommend the Extreme Day Camp, which helps owners learn along the way and enables them to ask questions as they go. For a highly reactive dog with impulse-control issues, there is no better route than Sit Means Sit!Addison Marshall
My dog has reactivity issues and I was initially extremely nervous to use the e-collar, but the experience has been so worthwhile. Anyone who is nervous about the collar, they have TONS of research and scientific data linked on their site that gave me a ton of relief when doubting the collar. And if you’re really that nervous, I’ve tested every single level against my hand and it doesn’t hurt!! The facility is SO clean, you’d almost be surprised that dogs are there all day every day because it doesn’t smell one bit. The trainers care so much about the dogs they’re training, we went to our first group class and my dog Harper just kept looking at Trisha trying to go see her. It’s obvious they care a lot about their work and every dog there. For me, getting Harper to actually listen + the group classes are the best parts of this. I will highly recommend them to anyone!Allysa Comalander

Review Summary
I have had nothing but a great experience with Encino Park Vet Clinic since we started taking our kitten there about a year ago when she was only a couple weeks old. The staff are always very friendly, patient, and kind. They have always worked so well with our babies! They've been seen by all of the veterinarians that operate there and all have been great. It never feels like they're rushing to get it over with, and they always take the time to answer all your questions thoroughly. I believe the pricing is fair for the quality of care we receive every time. The facility itself is very clean and modern in appearance. You couldn't ask for a better experience when you're dealing with nervous/anxious pets. My babies actually feel comfortable going here and may even look forward to it by now lol! One thing that they do which I really appreciate is that they always make a follow-up phone call to check in on how your fur babies are doing. We recently had to take our dog to an emergency vet clinic after hours and were surprised when we received a follow-up call from Encino Park to check in on her! Overall, I would recommend this vet clinic to anyone who has fur kids. So grateful for their quality care.Michelle
We love Encino Park and my wife and I would trust Dr. Wilkerson with our kids if we had any! Our two dogs have learned what the vet's office looks like and quite possibly what turns we take to get there. However, they arrive and get seen quickly and the Doctors and Techs never waste time knowing that most animals are nervous when they are there. Front desk staff is always, always amazing. We are moving to the Far West Side of town but will still continue to bring our boys to Encino Park, thank you for all you do!David Whitmer
The staff here are all friendly and kind to myself and to my dog. I have had appointments with all of the doctors, and all are thorough and patient. Even when they are extremely busy, they are never “too busy” to listen to my concerns and explain everything to me. I am so grateful that a friend recommended them to me, and I recommend them to anybody looking for a veterinarian in the area! (Cute dog photo attached for attention🤣😻)Meghan McHenry

Dr. Woolley and the healthcare team there have been so incredibly professional helpful, and competent. My sister's dog Sammy, got his heartworm treatment cleared up here and my cat Ricochet got started on insulin after he was diagnoised with diabetes. I have only gratitude for the Tech's amazing patience, compassion, and service to my family and the eager dedication Dr. Woolley has for the welfare of his patients. The Dr takes the time to inform you about any procdures he recommends and doesn't try to leave you confused. After two years in total with this Vet, the only reason I would ever go to anywhere else is if it was an absolute emergency and they were unable to receive my pet. Price is the same as pretty much any other vet to my knowledge, but I'm reassured that they know what they're doing when it comes to cats and dogs. Thank you guys so much! Sammy gets to stick around for so much longer and enjoy running around without aggravating his heart, and Ricky seems so much more energetic so far. There's more tests to be done when I have the money, but for now thank you guys for all you have done. Your patience, and just wonderful service to my family. ❤Taylor Apostolos
We have used Family Pet Hospital of Stone Oak for a number of services, including boarding on short notice and our experiences have been nothing short of wonderful. The staff truly care about the health and well-being of our pets. Updated to add: Family Pet Hospital was instrumental in helping us move out of state, working closely with us and the department of Agriculture to ensure our pets had all the appropriate paperwork. Even through every COVID delay and initial failed blood test, they kept us right on track. We worked as a team and it got done. During the process our cat fell so ill, I thought we would have to put her down before she had a chance to move with the family. They refused to give up on her, and eventually got her back to her old self. She was able to make the move and has since been reunited with her family, to hopefully live at least 10 more years.Sheena Bellavance
I absolutely LOVED our experience with Dr. Woolley and all of his assistants. Everybody was so nice and so knowledgeable. Dr. Woolley did a very thorough physical exam of our dog and checked every detail of her before he let her out of the room, which was amazing! And he was straight up with you, didn’t try to rack up all of these additional charges or tests. And even though it was after hours, he still made sure he did a very comprehensive exam. And his personality was amazing! Easy going, easy to laugh with, and he was so knowledgeable and wanting to help in any way he could! And he doesn’t break the bank for everything. I cannot say enough amazing things about Dr. Woolley and his team, seriously fantastic!Clarissa Gray

Awesome place to take your babies! Fur babies!!! The staff is just amazing. It starts when you call for an appointment, those ladies are so helpful, and when you are done, the checkout is super easy! I love the sign they have out, saying something like “the whole world is understaffed, so please be nice to the ones what show up!” So true, this showed me that Dr Thompson not only cares about our fur babies, but also about her staff! Now the assistance in the back, are very knowledgeable, also very caring towards our animals. Questions where asked before the doc came to see us, which made the visit very easy and comfortable. Dr Thompson is just soooo sweet, kind, just wonderful. She came in and first thing she did was, to sit down on the floor and made my dogs comfortable with her. She educated me about treatments for my boys. The services they have for our furry friends are just amazing. No up sales, no unnecessary expensive treatment plans. Just straight forward and honest! Love them and they will have our trust for life! Thank you all for your hard, caring work you do!!! If I could give a billion stars I would! Also giving a billion ♥️ hearts!Anja Little
Healing Hands has been the BEST vet hospital we’ve ever been too, and I don’t write reviews often. Starting when we first walked into the front door we knew our dog Apollo was going to be well taken care of. The front desk ladies were So kind, gentle and care individually for each pet! Susie, who brought us into our own room and inquired most questions, very compassionate. Listened to everything we were saying and gave us so many affordable options! Doctor Thompson who was our main vet is the best. She’s professional, educated, compassionate and truly cares about helping your fur baby. She was able to pin point exactly what was causing our dog so much pain, while another vet hospital we went to prior didn’t give him spend the time of day. Doctor Thompson is now Apollo’s primary doctor. He is now getting laser acupuncture to help relieve his neck pain! Thank you all for making our lives and our fur baby’s life so much easier!Madison Penwick
I finally found a vet that has the same values in health and wellness as I do! When it comes to my pets' health, I try to make decisions based off information, not just because someone tells me it's best for my dog. Dr. Thompson was so knowledgable, explained everything with detail and science and gave me clear answers and recommendations. She was able to take one look at my dog and give me insight as to why his front legs were turning inwards, gave me great advice on nutrition that aligned with my principles, and was extremelely knowledgabe on titers and their limitations. I also cannot complain about the price, it was extrememly afforadable. The facility is immaculate and the front staff and vet tech was just as great! I can't wait for more visits and to be guided in my dogs' health journey by Dr. Thompson.Stephanie Garza
