This is a mixed bag. I have to give CSI a 5 star rating on their staff and faculty. Everyone I've encountered in my classes and different buildings has been super nice and helpful. Also the campus is gorgeous, and my family and I love walking here. That said, I give them a 0 star rating on community safety. They have no mask policy and students and staff are not required to wear masks. We are in the middle of a pandemic, and Idaho is one of the hardest hit states in the country. CSI is doing nothing about it. As a student, I feel unsafe in my classes where almost all students are unmasked and many of them are coughing and hacking. Honestly, I'm scared.Charles Baudelaire

Good stepping stone for starting college. Cheap tuition, small class sizes, and just about all my teachers were extremely knowledgeable and professional in their classrooms but knew when to be authentic as well. My only complaints are mainly what you'll get on every other college campus. A bad professor here and there, internet goes down a few times a semester, due to the size scheduling especially for non-traditional or full-time students can be difficult. My College of Southern Idaho experience was a wonderful one. As a non-traditional student, I enjoyed the many courses I took and the professors and teachers who made it possible. I majored in music and know that the music and drama departments offer an excellent program with much individual attention that is lacking in universities and larger schools. We were working on our project (Our Green Hope) today where we used 3000 reusable bags to make the largest mosaic. The worker at the campus were friendly and supportive. After finishing the project, all the 3K bags were given for FREE at Kroger to encourage people to start using reusable bags instead of plastic grocery bags. Im a criminal Justice major and i like program except one huge thing it needs more hands traning so you prepared for the job once you graduate and not have move on for four degree and they need to have dorminties to live on i hardly see people on campus it almost empety they have two many campuses they need to have one and the paint falling off the school. The advisors are literally the worst I have seen. They are basically unaware of how to advise, impossible to reach, don't follow through, and give no recommendations on pre requisite classes. Now the health science department is even worse. The instructors pride themselves on a high failure percentage. They deviate from school policy and ALL Bio 210 and 211 professors are arrogant and unwilling to support your child. Stay away from the arrogant professors, AND they don't care about your future.AB Gentry

this technical college is the best technical college in south carolina, there was a problem with the workers at the edgefield campus, they lost my transcripts, and they tried to cancel my advisement appointment so they could meet their boyfriend in the parking lot, the students at the edgefield campus were rude, and trashy, they are not going to stop me from going there, the classes that you have to take are wonderful, the instructional methods are excellentJessica Taylor

They've got learning workshops and grant money for struggling students, either academically, financially, or both. When I went to University I never had something like this. Idk if it existed, and if it did, the University never advertised it for students. Also! This school has an amazing program for those who want to work with animals. The ZAS program (Zoo and Aquarium Science) is a 2 yr applied associates program and its goal is to get you straight into your career. They have terrestrial animals and an aquarium on site! I went for the IT area. Big mistake. They could not keep knowledgeable instuctors. Was told most would be online when enrolling and after enrollment only two classes was online. They kept putting me in classes that were to advanced like one or two classes should have been done before taking. I have a issue with walking due to a previous injury had asked for assistance to the buildings and never received. I ended up leaving due to the rude and not trained instructors and it being to much to make it up the hill to classes daily. This was in 2015, 2016.Marinda Carter

First and foremost, Norwalk Community College was the first two-year college known since 1960, and they have been serving and assisting students in achieving the school readiness you have always desired but if you have struggled at some point. NCC will assist you in overcoming your obstacles to the point where you feel smart, confident, and accomplished. This college is my top choice because it is affordable, not overcrowded, has a super clean and safe building, and has no historically known hate crime in the area, which is an A+ in today's environment. There is plenty of parking, as well as the best tutoring center, which is a lifeline for students who want to improve their grades or need assistance with the curriculum. NCC carry the highest standard. They have the best tutoring service and professors who are committed to assisting students. All you have to do if you need help navigating any area at NCC is ask. It's a good starting school but extremely disorganized with idiots for employees. Dr Apple or apfel is a complete and total moron. She is so ungodly useless. She is extremely disorganized no wonder all of the students hate her. She wouldn't shake our hands because she said that's how germs are spread. Get rid of this delusional troll! She made an appointment for 12 and then when we got there said it was for 4pm. Um hello!? This school is so DISORGANIZED. If you're willing to put up with complete chaos for two years then go here. Either believe the previous reviews of 'smelling like poverty and cigarettes', or understand that community college is the last place to find a living, breathing example of the American Dream. On top of that, NCC is the most well-funded community college, the most prestigious, and has the highest share of incredible professors than any other community college in the region. But it won't motivate you to succeed. You have to do that yourself. And if you do not find that drive within yourself in time, do not blame the college for your shortcomings. They failed to disclose requiring an absolutely pointless "cornerstone" style class until refusing to let me register for classes for not having taken a useless waste of money course that they didn't tell me I was supposed to waste money on. Now, I'd need special permission, have to take the course on site, and would have to register for only that class (so financial aid goes out the window and loans come due!) I do not recommend this school to anyone. There was a lot of grade school style homework and a broad spectrum of effort put in by my professors. Most of my homework was distributed digitally by the respective text book's website — NOT the professor. This created a huge disconnect when discussing homework issues in class. It was frustrating knowing my professors were not curating our homework, rather, it was being outsourced by a subsidized textbook. Their job is to educate, but remember they are there to make a profit. I could not afford my bill so they sold my debt to a collection agency.J s

My first college experience was here and it wasn't a particularly good one. The building is nice with a very comfortable atmosphere, though the parking lot is a nightmare. There is not WiFi through the entire building, which is infuriating for a student with an on campus class that is also entirely on the internet. Great school. but I think if we're paying $300.00 for a book and paying $8.00 on top of that for shipping a signature should be required from UPS and some type of insurance on it. I graduated in 2019 from the Human Services and Substance Use Disorder Counseling programs. The course and staff taught me valuable skills and knowledge. Professor Gorski, McHugh, and Lucas in particular went above and beyond to make sure students felt supported and were able to learn to the best of their ability. I visited Northcentral Technical college for my son who is a senior in Elkhorn high school who made it to the semi-finals for WI Esports for the game Smite and they hosted the competition for the semi-finals and finals for numerous games from high schools all over WI and I had a great time and the campus was awesome and really nice, the set up was awesome and everyone was so welcoming, I'd go back anytime!!!Elizabeth Orwig

My Business Administration Management class was amazing, I learned so much and I am carrying it with everywhere I go. Some people do not like it and so do. My instructor was so brilliant and I am so proud and thankful for him. I am currently in the vet tech program( just finished term 1 and starting term 2) here are a few things I wish I knew about the program before I started. UPDATE!!! STRONGLY suggest getting your generals done else where!!! Almost done with term 2 and Looking back, the program would be soo much easier if you were just taking the vet core classes. Seriously.. if you are really thinking about going here fresh out of high school and think you are going to be fine with the work load you are in for a rude awakening.. just please take my advice and get your generals done somewhere else. You will actually enjoy your time here if you are just taking the vet core classes because the vet related classes and the generals work load at the same time is extremely stressful because again you will be taking roughly 20 credit hours( that’s general classes and vet core classes) AND the material is very rushed. -curriculum is extremely rushed -instructors are a hit or miss (3/5 instructors were really great and knew what they were talking about and we’re able to explain really well, other 2 did not know the material and did not know how to effectively teach/explain/ or answers any questions about the material they were teaching. Pretty much had to self teach in both classes) -the parking situation is a hot mess. Parking on campus is extremely limited and the street parking is a joke. -The remediation assignments (Student services assigns you an extra assignment on top of your homework in whatever class for being 15+ minutes late or missing the class or leaving 15+ minutes early ie. Handwritten 100 bullet points on the slides of the power point you missed. The instructor then has to sign off on it and you turn it into student services no later than 1 week of the absence/tardy) is extremely unnecessary and just adds more stress. -But all in all still a better program than any of the other schools I was looking into before I started the program. I’m still loving what I am learning about and the hands on labs are amazing. My classmates and I are extremely close and working together and helping each other study is a must to succeed in every class. If you do find yourself struggling there are so many resources the school provides to help you ie. free tutoring from a peer tutor, tutoring from your instructors per request via emailing them. Scheduling an appointment with the Student success coordinator (helps you plan your study schedule and helps with testing stragies). Just know this is a tough program because it’s rushed and you WILL be taking anywhere from 12-20 credits hours. ( this is decided based on if you have transfer credits from other colleges ie. math 1010, Biology1010, college writing, etc. I was taking 20 credit hours. I did not choose this, your schedule will be chosen for you by the school) and you will be eating, living and breathing veterinary medicine for the next 2 years. ( also I want to add that it is STRONGLY recommended that you DONT have a job. At least in 1st term. In orientation they go more in-depth about this. A lot of my classmates including myself quit our full/ part time jobs after 1 month in the program because it was too much) If this is something you think you can handle then it is definitely worth it!Kaitlyn Hart

This school has all the technology you could ever want, and provides a lot of support. I wish I could have afforded to go there. That’s the only downside, is the really high price. I should add, the price is high for a reason. They buy top of the line technology to teach their nurses and vet techs (those are the only things I’ve seen myself, and I am 100% sure they put the money into their other programs, too.) My current financial situation makes the school unaffordable, but the price is 100% worth it. I was going to make myself afford it until I was told about a deposit. I WAS shocked by the $400+ deposit they required during orientation (for the LVN program.) I wasn’t told about it except less than a week before orientation. There was really no iltime for me to prepare. My financial aid advisor, Vanessa, was AMAZING and tried everything to make the school more affordable. My academic advisor, Nikia, was the BEST. The program I was in (vet tech) was great for the most part! However there was a lot of bumps in the 2 years and disorganization when I was there. Teachers were a hit or miss you could get a great one and would love that class, or you would get one you dreaded and never wanted to go to class. Being the first class to graduate from that program we didn't get all the amazing equipment that the students have now. This program over all is a great experience because when you are struggling or need help you can find teachers always doing tutor sessions or the LRC always is willing to help you learn things as well. they are doing the best they can to make sure things run smoothly from now on. I would recommend this course now because it seems like things will run smoother now that they learned from passed mistakes with my class.Allison Kunic

I graduated in the Summer of 2018, and I wanted to say overall my experience with OCTC had been good and not very much complaint, but I do have to say that I do not appreciate the way they shipped my AA diploma, and I know others have complained about this too. They shipped it in a flimsy envelope as if the achievement didn't deserve a better way of shipping. The certificate was crinkled on the edges and was bent down the middle. Overall I was able to flatten it out and frame it and was okay, but the lack of respect to graduates on this is kind of sad on OCTC's part. Future reference please do not treat your graduates this way. I wouldn't mind having a new one reshipped to me properly this time, and if I do get one then I will give OCTC a better rating. (For reference, I am a first-generation college student, have a learning disability, and a physical disability.) TMCC sets students up for success. I have had a very positive experience both as a student and working for the school. I will be finishing a dual-degree sooner than expected. Most of the professors are great, and everyone in the humanities department is amazing. Most of the staff is very professional and able to well-inform students of what classes to take and what services may benefit them. On top of this, the school also offers free tutoring and mental health services. As a first-generation college student, I feel TMCC has helped me at every step of the way to succeed. With only 8 classes left to take, I still have a cumulative GPA of 4.0 despite doing relatively poorly in high school. As long as you put in your best effort, teachers will do everything possible to help you succeed. If you do not put any effort in and expect a handout, then it will be extremely difficult to succeed. If you attend this school make sure to take advantage of any and all resources as well as putting in your own effort… you will not regret it. I recommend TMCC to anyone and everyone.Rove Plant Eater

This is a tremendous school with a caring and compassionate staff and faculty. This school has afforded me so many opportunities that I wouldn't have otherwise received without them. When I got to Reno, I was homeless. I arrived with two suitcases and less than $100 in the bank. I was staying with a friend and making very little money. I found myself in a situation where I worked hard labor job after hard labor job, trapped in a vicious cycle of injury and poverty and no clear view of how to exit my situation. In the month of December 2014, I walked into the offices at TMCC. In less than a year, I have found employment, I'm less than a year from finishing my degree and I am a Dean's list student. I had it in my head that I wanted to succeed and I was fortunate that this school wanted to help me to do exactly that. The teachers were compassionate and patient. The staff was courteous and helpful. I owe a great deal to this school because it has taught me more than academics. It taught me to be a better person.Brandon Canty

Don't listen to the bad reviews, everybody has a different experience and different perceptions. Ive taken at least 20+ classes over 12 years, I love tmcc. It's a good community college in every way. I attended here on and off from 1999-2012. I learned how to teach step aerobics from the greatest fitness instructor imo Verna Lewis. I took many general ed classes as well as a few paralegal courses and a ton of fitness classes as well. The campus is beautiful, many bathrooms with free sanitary napkins if needed, the vending machines are reasonably priced. The classes are very fair priced. It's a wonderful school and a WAY better option then a vocational school. eg: Realtor school online vocational school $600+, Tmcc Realtor program $50-100.Rachela Reno Rocks

I recently finished my second Technical degree for Metal Fabrication as a returning student. I delayed going back to school for years for lots of reasons, but mostly because I thought it would be as awful of an experience as High School was. Instead the teachers in my program were excellent. I was always challenged by the projects and supported in my learning in equal measure. If you're looking to get into welding or Metal Fabrication, these programs are career fields that need people, pay well, and you can learn them here! Don't sleep on the trade skills that can be taught here. Go to the open houses, see if these are things you're interested in doing. A 4 year degree isn't The guarantee of employment it used to be, but these one year Technical degrees, leading to in demand fields are.Travis H

Very nice tech college. Almost everyone you come across on campus can point you in the right direction. I just started school today online. But tomorrow I get to go to campus. It's a clean sanitary environment. There is currently some remodeling going on, so part of the building you cannot access… yet! AC was on, felt awesome. temperature didn't change much room to room either. All the employees seem to know their job very well and are willing to help. I chose Madison Area Technical College because I know many people that have graduated and successfully got into a job they wanted. This school is also smaller than UW Madison so I feel like the learning experience is better, more hands on, more participation versus a large school such as UW Madison.Shane Toycen

The good profs here are all just professors moonlighting from UW Madison, I'd honestly say you should apply to and go to literally any other UW system school before here. The quality of education isn't bad- but they somehow managed to misplace finances and put 650 bucks into collections randomly – without mailing me any notifications, and without a notifications on the online portal. You won't get competency from any of the administrative staff, expect 5 week long waits to see a counselor for any sort of urgent need. If you are a student with a disability – make sure you have additional copies of any medical documentation, they will claim to lose it. Most of the education staff despises the administrative staff and yeah, I can see why.Bee

Annoying town to live in. Southern hospitality doesnt exist in Boone. Its full of stuck up hippies. Counting down the days till I transfer to Colorado. If you're transferring here, good luck. My girlfriend has been petitioning classes that they haven't counted since she first got here. They're screwing her out of 27 credit hours that she finished at her old school. Math department is atrocious. I'm in college algebra now and the teacher lost my first test because she took priority in grading a 2 page paper on success before she graded the test. Also, if you're coming here to watch football, the atmosphere sucks. More than half of the crowd is out of the stadium before halftime. Hardly anyone actually cares about the team, they just use it as an excuse to tailgate and get trashed in a public parking lot.Chris King

Was a very good experience. Best was the faculty, who are from all over the country and internationally as well. I attended another college for a second degree after ASU and had a bad experience which really highlighted how superior ASU's instruction and advice really was. They do not waste your time. If there was a downside, it was probably the fact that many of the students are from western North Carolina, so some of the perspectives were a bit of a culture shock for me. They have several excellent programs, particularly business, music, education, art, as well as some unusual programs like communications disorders.JW41926

Attending this school has been the worst experience that I have EVER had! From advisor who do not know what they are doing to transcript office personal that have very bad attitudes and are extremely rude. They also "conveniently" forget to post important dates that student need to know. After finally graduating from this school a year late, I will NEVER encourage anyone to attend this school. But, I would encourage everyone who currently attends this school to get out while they are ahead! A good school where you get out what you put in. Many trains stop within walking distance and buses as well. Just like any college, depending on your major, you will find good and bad professors. So always make use of the rate my professor website. I had a very pleasant experience. The administration was more competent than other schools I went to and my issues were always solved within a reasonable amount of time. The facilities I had to use for my major were in even better condition compared to some four year schools. The wifi coverage was good. Plenty of cafeterias with the best one being in the E building. Plenty of food trucks with different types of foods. Lots of seating areas with electrical ports. The class scheduling was workable with enough sections to fit almost everyone. Can't speak for any other major but it felt like that overall. They are always hiring new adjuncts so it's not the same professor teaching that one section you need all the time that everyone says is horrible. Always stay on top of your things if you want to have them resolved quickly. That's the part you play in your college years. The hand holding stops after High School. All I can say is, relax a little and have some fun. At the end of the day grades won't show the strength of your character after all is said and done.Mounia B

It seems like professors like the one I got Professor Arnold who acts likes she is going through the motions and don't there . i felt I waste my time and money which I paid out of pocket in her class and is thinking about leaving the college. She is one of the worst teachers/professors i ever had . I think cause it a community college a lot of them are mad cause they can't teach in a four year college through out of the community colleges in NY LaGuardia is the best . That being said she is the third professors that I had that sleeps walks through their class and I had another one that did something that weren't cool and I didn't show up for her class and never got an apology from her. Im currently in my last year at LaGuardia (majoring in business) and i have to say the Business department is full of AMAZING professors. Classes are really easy (most of them except accounting unless you're good at it) and the students are cool. I, personally, never talked to anyone or made any friends because I'm not an outgoing person. The school is constantly going under renovations and they just finished the new library and it looks AMAZING, as if it was a library from an ivy league. Food isn't that great but what do you expect, its school food [not free of course]. For people who are curious about the diversity of this school, these are my personal percentages of what i see; 20% – Asian 20% – African American 30% – Hispanic 30% – White/European Overall, its a good school to just do your 2 years in and get out.Paul The Pigeon

Out of the 4 community colleges I have taken courses at, ABTech has been the worst by far. I have had the worst experience with advising/registration trying to get scheduled for the classes I want. Everyone I speak to just turns me in circles and no one seems to understand what to do in order to help me go where I need to go. They only give you 48 hours once classes start to switch them around if need be, but you need an advisor to approve before you can register for anything different, but you can’t get in to meet with an advisor till days after the deadline. I feel so defeated. I worked so hard to get the courage to return to school, just to not be able to take any courses this semester. Wasting my time and my financial aide. The staff here are for the most part very friendly and easy to be around. The administration however, is terribly unorganized. It's not uncommon to get information from their website or info center, but be told the complete opposite by a faculty member or chair person. I was following a recommended schedule for the program I'm in, when it was changed completely without any notice. Half the classes I was told to take this Fall are no longer offered, and it will now take me twice as long to complete my program. Long story short- don't attend AB tech if you're pursuing a degree or diploma. I'd only recommend this place to continuing education students.Andy Albert

LOVE this school! I am graduating this May from the Radiography program and will graduate next May with an AS in Biochemistry. AB Tech has made the process smooth and efficient for me, just as I worked hard to make sure I turned everything needed for processing my information early to them to ensure success. The teachers are fantastic and truly care about their students. I am so grateful for the writing, math and science study labs as well because the staff there gave me the extra help I needed whenever a concept was tough. I've been going back and forth with the Cashier's Office today because they are in charge of distributing pell grant refund checks at the *beginning of the semester. It's now March and I have recieved anything because.no one told me until last week that if you have a second term split class that you won't see the check until AFTER that class starts. Even then no one ever answered.my questions until today when I had.to go see the Dean of Students. She wasn't in so they brought in the Financial aid person (should have been done since January). Long story short, that person told me to drop my class since it would be easier for them. I've had nothing but bad experiences at Shelton and it's no wonder that not many people after the CC dont continue their education. Literally the worst school ever. The advisors do absolutely nothing to help you. When you call they just tell you what you want to hear and don't help at all. I called last week to make sure everything was in order for me to sign up for classes and I was told yes. This morning I go to sign up and there is a hold on my account keeping from signing up. The admissions staff is inconsiderate and rude. No one really wanted to help me with any questions. This school doesn't accept outside loans but don't offer additional financial assistance to those who less fortunate or don't stay at home with mom and dad. This school is about money to graduate. Think twice before attending this institution. I was enrolled to begin classes in the fall semester. One week before they began, DCTC contacted me saying they no longer offered the program that I signed up for. Again, ONE WEEK before classes began. This left me almost no time to scramble around looking for another school to attend for the fall semester. That kind of behavior is unacceptable and extremely unprofessional. The whole process just felt off anyway. They were always slow to respond, they fought every step of the way when I presented transfer credits from another institution. I was somewhat relieved in a way knowing I wouldn't have to deal with them any further. What a waste of time.Adam

Didn’t have the best experience overall. The instructor for the automotive technology class was only genuine once while he was teaching me something. Every other time, there was sarcasm and rudeness when trying to ask him questions. Not to mention half of the kids (quote “kids”) in the class were constantly on their phones and messing around. I wouldn’t have minded, except that we were placed in groups, therefor graded as a group. I wouldn’t return for the fact that I learned more working 3 months on the job than I did going 6 months to school, not to mention it was paid for.Sebastian Dina

Received my second degree here and they accepted a respectable number of credits from a previous college. Someone from admin called me a year or so after graduation and asked if I had gotten anywhere with my degree. When he found out what I was doing and where I had gotten in life he nearly dropped the phone. Thanks DCTC for sending me places in life I didn’t think were possible. We are paying a $2,400+ debt for an untrained staff member’s mistake. My husband applied for this school, signed up for classes & a dorm. He decided to go somewhere cheaper & somewhere that actually had his major. He called to cancel everything & was falsely informed. He was told he would be dropped & that everything was finished & he was good to go. Of course when you tell someone they will be “dropped”, you obviously think you’ll be taken out of the school & will be “good to go”. Soon after we find out he has a debt of about $2,000! We have tried to fight it & they were not having it. They sent our case to a collection agency & now there is a $400+ fee in addition to the $2000. This school is the worst & will do anything to get your money! I myself, was a student for only a semester & was miserable. The staff sucks, not helpful at all (obviously) & the school does not try to reach out to their students in activities, etc. I lived on campus & it was not worth the money so I transferred back home in Houston. The dorms.. every night there is yelling, the smell of weed, etc. The cops patrol the streets but not very well. I do not recommend this school at all. The city around is non-existent & all there is to do is clubbing & drugs. Once you attend this school, you’ll know the regret & the waste of momey it is. Thanks for your time, I just don’t like how the school is winning in our case. We still have to pay this debt due to a dumb staff member who told us we were “good to go” & is too coward to not deny it. Thanks for the debt! (Probably some stupid student helper because that’s what this school runs on with no actual teacher to teach. Just student helpers with also no teacher supervision). This school also has very little majors & you will most likely need to transfer (like me) which means the basics you take here may not apply to your degree & is more expensive than a community college or a college that has the actual major you was. Absolute joke of a university. This is my second time applying and both have been ridiculous. First time around paid all application fees and everything, took in my physical official transcripts (etc). They took 2 1/2 months to get back to me just to say they misplaced my transcript and wouldn’t be accepting me since they didn’t have one (they never bothered telling me to take in another one). This time around I thought I’d give them another chance. Same exact thing. I applied December 5th and turned in all my documentation. Applied for spring and called the lady who said it would take ten business days for my application to process. About a month went by and I was emailing admissions who basically kept copying and pasting the same response saying to check myself to see when the application is reviewed. Called only to talk to a rude lady who stated that I need to be patient because their only one person doing application reviews(if you know it’s busy after Christmas why not have more then one person?) now today January 17 the day classes have officially started I check and they finally reviewed it. But only reviewed it and stated they needed my college transcript yet again even though I sent it and they have it marked as received. They didn’t even bother calling me and telling me this info. When I spoke to the lady she stated they have everything they need. My advice is stay far away from this university. I have been there a few times for friends and events. Campus is old and falling apart, not anything to do around campus, their customer service and staff is rude and unprofessional. I receive way better assistance at the community college I attended. I recommend anywhere but here, the majors and price may be enticing but it’s not at all worth the hassle STAY AWAY.Zachry Smithwick

This is a good University offering valuable courses on engineering, agriculture and business at cheaper rates, even for internationals. But, if you are coming with an intention to pay tuition and fee with most of the amount through part-time and jobs it may not work well. The reason is of its location, in a small village and a little bit far from any town. The second reason is a lot of universities around Texas where students compete for a little fewer part-time jobs. But, if you want to get good grades and want to spend most of your time during college or at school on education and want to receive a degree from a good university like the one it works well. The campus map you can see is not so clear as the other universities and you can watch a clear view of campus in you-tube. There are many videos that have a clear picture of the campus. Also don't expect the university to be too beautiful. It is neither a beautiful university nor an opposite. It is not a university that focuses too much on campus architecture, but has a lot of scholarship opportunities if you are at a good standing. Please don't post an improper review without a clear picture of what's happening around here which makes people think of what the University is, even though it's not of a kind you speak. Went to Trilogy beauty salon for a haircut and hair color appointment. Student did a really nice job on both. All the students were dressed professionally They were wearing nice looking smocks unlike some other beauty schools were they wore whatever they wished Trilogy salon uses very high quality products which is appreciated Students do take more time completing a hair cut or hair color Instructors are there if they have any questions and everything they do is looked at by the teacher Students gain valuable experience there Highly recommendedKathy Salm

Affordable for gen eds but for a technical college they have some of the worse tech issues I have every seen my I have seen middle schools with better technical support. Do not take there advice on what laptop to buy since I was told to buy a Microsoft brand laptop but I needed to add every chrome extension needed to even access half the course material. I had to ask my instructors to use my personal email only since I could send emails through my school one but could not read any of the instructors emails.Gunfire Productions

Let's just say I'm no spring chicken. I got my Industrial electrical apprenticeship at the age of 46 and at the age of 50 I graduated. It was not an easy thing for me. But the program was excellent and they gave me alot of skills I use everyday at my job. Some days I think I should have tried fitting the instrumentation specialist into my schedule some how but with work hours it wouldn't have work. Id say they have everything you need to succeed at FVTC, because if I can do it at my age anybody can there!Heath Mischke
