Review Summary
Had a great first visit at New Hope Pet Hospital for my poochie's skin issue. Staff was welcoming and efficient. The vet was very kind and had a good bedside manner with both my pet and I. What stood out to me the most was how clean and bright the facility is with no smell of fear. My poochie is very timid but walked right in like she was on a visit to friends. She never got nervous and even stepped right up on the scale like she does it every day…she doesn't, lol. We have a follow-up visit to address some issues my old girl has. I feel comfortable knowing she will be cared for in a warm and caring environment. I know many people are concerned with prices these days. I will add that I feel the fees for the various services received, in addition to some medication, we're both reasonable and fair.Nancy Lomac
I've been using New Hope since the fall of 2020. My smallest dog "Monkey" is adored there. Everyone knows him when we walk in the door. He has had many issues and Dr. Simoneaux has resolved them. We have also been accommodated several times on an emergency basis. Monkey had a very bad URI and we were able to utilize their drop off service, so he could be seen by the vet in between other clients. Also, my larger poodle mix got stung in the face and was having a terrible allergic reaction. They told me to bring her right in. Dr. S met us right in the lobby and took her right back. The girls at the front desk (esp. one with southern accent) are kind and compassionate. I highly recommend this practice for your animals!Alexandra Casi
The doctor snapped today. He came out to the lobby, got in my face, and was yelling at me, so rude! He's trying to make up for the business he lost when he was out due to a family illness. 6-8 weeks out, so he's overwhelmed and yelling at clients now! No wonder why he can't keep staff members. You will be sitting in the little cramped waiting room for awhile because he's seeing more patients then he can handle with fewer hours! He also raised his prices. He used to be a nice guy. He was wrong about my cat's diagnosis and just wanted to do surgery and didn't treat my dog's skin problem right! Beware!!Barbara Schairer

This vet is amazing, and I mean it. I have struggled so long trying to find a place where me and my pet both felt comfortable and a place that could finally give us some answers to help us move forward and get over the issues my poor baby has been dealing with. I have had the worst experience with some vets and I spent multiple times crying and just being confused always left with the same issues and no real answers or help- this vet has changed all of that. Every single staff member – techs and vets included have been so nice, they always have a smile on their face and really take the extra step to make sure your pet is well taken care of. It didn’t take hours to finally get into a room, they were with us within 15min of arriving. We were not once rushed or felt like we had to be in a hurry. They took their time and let us express our struggles and worries. They asked the right questions and really really listened to us. I finally feel heard, like someone cares about my dog and it really is a great feeling. I finally have hope and a better understanding and a way where we can conquer the reoccurring issues we have been dealing with. My dogs infection has really improved and I now feel like we are making progress with the help of this vet. Thank you for taking such good care of all your clients, including Oli.Ari
I moved to the area, and the first vet I used was an emergency vet, just to get my dog's vaccines in a hurry. Once they came due again, though, I had the time to find a non-emergency vet for my dog – and I lucked into Companion Pet Care. At first I picked it because of how close it was, but the entire visit was amazing and the tech and vet, Dr. Shivers, both were so caring and patient with my dog, and had great advice and suggestions. I didn't feel like I was being pushed to do anything unnecessary, Dr. Shivers took the time to give suggestions on alternative ways to care for her teeth since she hates brushing, and the tech was sweet and caring and gentle with my dog. Then, the young man who came to give my receipt also lavished her with attention and revealed he'd helped with her ear clean and nail trim in the back. I'm very happy with my visit and plan to keep coming back!Katy Brown (Katfayebrown)
I am VERY picky when it comes to my vet care. I have a lot of experience with home vet care, coming from a remote location in northern Ontario, Canada. I did a lot of research of area vets before choosing Companion Pet Care 2 years ago. I couldn't be happier! I absolutely LOVE how much the staff is understanding of my knowledge, and keeps the conversations at the appropriate levels for me! Dr. Stratton always takes the extra time to genuinely discuss all symptoms and treatment plans. I NEVER feel rushed into making a decision for my fur baby. Since choosing them as my family vet, I have moved to a location with several vets closer to me, but I refuse to transfer! The genuine love and care the staff show my Duke and me have me hooked! Truly an amazing vet!Jennifer Randell

Review Summary
I just graduated from the Surgical Technology program at this school with the instructor Ms.Daise, she was excellent!! There is sooo much to learn in such a short period of time and she was very thorough and prepared us very well for our clinical rotation. She was our sole instructor this time around. I guess in the past they normally have a seperate instructor for clinicals. We did not this time, And I would not of had it any other way. Having Ms.Daise as our instructor made our clincial rotation so much better, everyone at the location of our clinicals couldnt say anything but great things about our class and our instructor. I guess they have had issues with the other "instructor" at the school that we did not. This program was great! The hospital literally wants to hire every single one of us, thats how great this experience has been for all of us! Ms.Daise is the best!! She is the heart and soul of this program, she really cares and loves to teach and it is apparent. She also has the standards for Surgical technology down pat, And doesnt teach short cuts. SHE IS THE REAL DEAL!! I would give her ten stars if I could, and I would give 2 stars to the Health science Office staff… Too many "politics" going on in the office and they care more about their " status quo" then making sure the students have what they need to succeed. I would highly recommend this program to anyone who wants to get into this field!Amy Parraguez
Program: Computer Systems & Information Technology (CSIT) Instructor: Rob Saul Instructor is world class, he often utilized a Socratic style of teaching which was unique compared to just about every other teacher I've ever had. The program exposes you to various technology but the main components are centered around the CompTIA certifications, namely A+, Net+, Sec+. I'd imagine the core learning material is still largely self-paced as you progress towards each certification exam. I was dual enrolled 9-10 years ago but I doubt much has changed aside from the actual certification material being updated every few years These certs are all great for getting into various entry level IT positions..you're probably looking at roles like help desk/desktop support/support technician/isp tech/etc. These certs won't make you a sys admin or network admin, but they certainly lead to those type of career trajectories. Final thoughts: Adults – I'd personally just recommend picking up an A+, Net+, Sec+ CompTIA bundle and going to town. There I just probably saved you a ton of money. You'd gain the same knowledge and can sit for the same certs the program prepares you for, but in a MUCH quicker time frame really. High School Dual enrollers – 100% sign up for this if seriously interested in computers/networking/security/IT in general. You'll be so ahead of your peers its borderline OP.James Whipple
I went to their information session for surgical technician , and just from simply calling and going there I did not like the experience . I do not recommend going there if you want to be a SURGICAL TECHNICIAN. They want you to pay around 500$ before even getting accepted and it’s non refundable, a tour is not included in the session and I saw a review on here that a surgical technician said there was a 20% passing rate I asked the lady and she pretended like she knew nothing about , she just said they had a really bad dropout rate because students “couldn’t handle it” and that’s why they’re making people who to get in a program take a 4 hour long test. As well as a 2 hour long test . I have never written a bad google review but I really hope nobody wastes their money on this program and not even to know if you’re getting accepted . The only good side of this school is that it’s in a nice area and the interior is very clean and nice . Unless you want to share majority of the college with high school students I don’t recommend you going here.Elianna Corona

We originally went to this clinic because we purchased a sick puppy from petland (we couldn't let him stay their) but in a time of emergency they were amazing. My 7 yr old Leonberger had been super lethargic and I called to get an emergency appt, they got me right in. I raced my dog to the clinic during a tropical storm. By the time I got there he couldn't get up and they came out with 3 people and a stretcher and got him out ( 160lb dog) they rushed him in and started working on him. They kept me informed thr whole time even though I was absolutely in distraught and couldn't even comprehend what they were saying. He did not make it and they gave us alone time with to say our good byes and grieve the loss of our boy. They made the final arraignments for us also. It was absolutely the worst day of us and they were so sweet, caring and understanding. Even though it is tough to go back there we will definitely be using them in the future.Bailey M
This was my dog and I's first visit to the vet. I was worried about how he would react to it, as my dog is old, stubborn, and skittish. Turns out my fears were unfounded. They were very friendly and professional and treated my dog with care. He didn't even complain when his nails were trimmed (he HATES his feet touched) and when he got his shots! The doctor even got down on the floor with him to examine him because he doesn't like to be picked up. I was thoroughly impressed. Gave us a free first months heart worm and flea prevention meds. A month later I had ordered them on Chewy. Chewy contacted my vet who then contacted me. The vet said they can provide the meds ongoing, which was advantageous as they can track the dosing. PLUS they price matched Chewy (who has terrible customer service btw). SO far, so great! Highly recommended!Adonis Pointer
I was a new pet mother to a wildly adorable bichon named Columbus. I was hesitant about what to expect and all the rules of training and owning a pet. The sweetest thing is my pup already had a vet when I purchased Columbus. This was Sarasota Vet Center, they worked slowly with me I asked my billion of questions and they we really informed. They also gave him his shots. They worked slowly and made sure that Columbus and I were calm. That Columbus was happy and had a good experience at the vet. I was very thankful and appreciative of all they did. 10/10 and beyond. They were just extraordinary people.Ellen Zollinger

Review Summary
Dr Lee and the staff were great. I’ve been very skeptical of vets in pet stores after various horrible experiences in the past and I’m so glad I gave his practice a shot. I came in later and I know it was the end of the day and they wanted to get home but they still saw my dog. He gets really excited and anxious and he was the best I’ve seen him around anyone in a small room. They made him feel comfortable and managed to get everything done that isn’t the most fun thing for a dog and I know he won’t be scared to come back. It’s so great to have a vet that is affordable and accommodating close by that I can actually use without taking a day of work off. I highly recommend Dr. Lee and easy vet. Also I love that he brings his dogs to work with him, most vets I’ve seen have an office cat that stays permanently but it’s nice to see that he comes and goes with his pets. Again thank you so much!Alyssa Taylor
Dr Lee and staff were beyond wonderful! Highly recommend this place! Christina was so helpful and sweet with my dog while we waited for test results and answered all my questions, and Shelby at the desk was so helpful and kind! Dr Lee is extremely knowledgeable and made sure I understood exactly what was going on with my dog and her myriad skin issues. I finally feel like we may have a solution for her ongoing issues! What a relief to find a place close to home that is so great!Julie Borden
Very happy I tried Dr. Lee and his staff at EasyVet. I have a Mini Bully with a few medical issues – Dr. Lee and his knowledgeable staff have been professional, compassionate and helpful. I have never felt like they rushed through an exam and the Doctor spends time explaining and teaching you. My dog is doing so much better ! Not to mention the cost is on the more affordable side than I expected. Definitely sticking with this Veterinarian, highly recommend!Nurse Shark

"At BVH we practice uncommonly exceptional Veterinary Medicine. But that's not the only reason why our clients drive past many other Veterinarians to get to our doors. We have built a culture of taking care of people too. It is so important to us that you feel you can trust us. That your pet is receiving the BEST care there is. And that your experience truly matters. Once you walk through our doors, you are family. And we wouldn't have it any other way."

What do you say about a business and the people who work there who have helped you care for and say goodbye to more than one dog? That you love them? That you would do anything for them? Okay, I LOVE Bonita Veterinary Hospital and staff and would do almost anything for them, just as they always did for me and each of the special needs dogs I had. They always know me by name. They try very hard to make time when I need help. They are sometimes difficult to get an appointment with, not unlike the new "in" place you've been dying to go to. Bonita Veterinary is THE BEST. Dr. Patterson is such a gentle, caring man that I could never have asked for more or better. Dr. Ogden stepped right in when his specialty was needed. Everyone else knows you and your pet by name…every single time. It's just a top notch place. I've left the area but have promised them I will come back or FedEx my next dog to see them. I can't imagine I could be happier anywhere else.A Manson
A review long overdue but known between all who care and treat and love my kit-kats over the many years & tears. I love you guys! I can't thank you enough for your compassion and patience. The Vet is not always a pleasant place to go, the trip alone is torture, but everybody, (including those who have left – Susan!), have always made a stressful situation as comfortable as possible for both furry family and those of us they own! This is an exceptional Veterinarian practice! Thank you Dr. Patterson, Vinny, Dr. Gordon, Dr. Ogden, Ray, Lori, Victoria and the rest, (you know who you are … I do, but with apologies have forgotten some names). You are the best!!!Michael Schmidt
I am a first time "Dog Mama" and I am so relieved/happy to have found this clinic! Dr. D/Dr. Dietter is incredible! She sat on the floor with my Dawkins Angelo and gave him soooo much affection. Not only were her and the tech kind, but also beyond knowledgeable. She didn't leave the room until ALL of my questions were answered and made me feel at ease. She gave him his last vax and ensured me that I was doing a great job. I felt so confident leaving and am at peace knowing that I chose the best vet clinic in the area! Thank you, Dr. D!!!! Short story: Dr's Sterling & Morgan and their team of technicians are the "Best" in town! The long version: Recently brought my (foster failure) HW positive Robyn in for her treatment to get rid of those nasty little buggers… The team at NCAH is so compassionate and caring during the process…they explained the procedure completely so I knew what to expect and what the possible challenges are that lie before us. Dr. Sterling completely explained what Robyn will be going thru and how I will need to care for her afterwards to ensure her continued health! I could not ask for a better partner in my fur-babies care!! Thank you ❤LA Staton
I recently had our first appointment here with Dr.Morgan. My 5 year old poodle Mix had been having all kinds of undiagnosed symptoms for a couple years and her previous veterinarian never looked into it, dismissed my worries and informed me there was nothing wrong with her.. well thank god I came to Naples Coastal because now after 1 appointment I know have my answer of 2 conditions that were diagnosed through exam and blood panels and will have medication now to help my dog. I will be referring every dog parent I know here from now on. They are so kind and wonderful and truly appear to care for the animals here.Bria Owens
I am so happy I switched my animals’ care to Naples Coastal. I have three cats, and they come with their own unique sets of health issues. I have one cat with an autoimmune condition that requires careful dental monitoring along with periodic surgery, and I have a geriatric cat who has had a long history of problems ranging from nasal and sinus issues to diabetes. Dr. Morgan sees my animals, and I could not be more grateful for her and the amazing staff at this veterinary hospital. They are thorough, kind, and great at what they do. As a picky pet mom I wouldn’t want to take my animals anywhere else!Jo Hi

We can not say thank you enough to the amazing vet crew you all have. Laura, I love how you treat Daisy Lou, Marly Cooper and Peter Shorty. I can tell you have compassion for animals and that you have a big heart!! We are so blessed to have found Grace! God bless you all! We appreciate how you take your time with each of our fur babies and give them excellent care. The atmosphere is fun happy and inviting. Oh and I love when we are waiting they offer freshly ground coffee. You can choose between a latte, coffee, hot coco or a espresso! It is soooooo yummy! Brian, thank you as well for everything you do. Greeting with a smile always. We love it!!Tamra Brattain
Over priced by far. Went for our free follow up exam and ended up paying $104. They quoted us for the second puppy shots at $250 a pup. We called our vet who is charging $99 a pup. Won’t be back. As far as the vets response to my review, I am not looking for a discount clinic but a honest and good vet who doesn’t try to charge me for things that are unnecessary and not asked for. That’s slipping things into a quote and seeing if we catch it. I don’t want a vet like that. Unnecessary up charges and see if we catch it. No, when we are wanting second puppy shots that it.Mark Carpenter
Staff is very patient answering all questions, whether on the phone or in person. They allowed plenty of time to answer all my questions and they checked every concern. They made sure that I had no further questions before we proceeded. Everyone was determined to keep my puppy calm and happy and unafraid during her exam and shots. The estimate they gave me earlier was exactly correct and staff went over options with me on some of the items to make sure I understood and was okay with our decisions. Five stars and lots of happy tail wags from my pup.Heather S OConnell

Literally couldn’t have been happier with my experience. My boyfriend and I recently moved in on our own and ccas made our new apartment a home today when we adopted my sweet girl Georgia. The ladies up front, the volunteers, the clinic tech that gave us the rundown of our baby’s med history, everyone was absolutely incredible. Georgia is a special girl and it fills me with joy knowing how loved she was while in between homes, everyone was so sad yet so happy to say their goodbyes and they all knew her well enough to pick out a bunch of toys they knew she would love. We will treasure them forever because her other family picked them out just for her. CCAS also provided a bag of her current food in order to transition her smoothly, a crate to transport her comfortably, free first exam at the clinic, and so much more. Thank you guys so much for creating such a special and seamless experience for us and for Georgia ❤️Savannah Knapp
I went to this clinic for the first time to take one of my dogs Kiki wanted to see how efficient and friendly they would be and decide whether to take my other dog later on,on a different appointment, I have to say this place was awesome super friendly fast to call me in for my appointment, the staff was super super friendly and great with my first dog who’s afraid of everything i was surprise my dog was at ease that to me deserves 5 star rating also they were not pushy like other places I’ve been too where they want me to get stuff I don’t need. I took my other dog and they were again very friendly and concerned with what ever I needed for my dog which she needed a cyst to be removed price was reasonable and they did it right away. Definitely will be taking my dogs back to this place.Mildred Bobe-Rivera
I can not say enough about the staff at this shelter. The entire process of adopting here was extremely impressive. While doing a walk through viewing the cleanliness and animals, the staff was very knowledgeable of all of the animals and clearly love what they do. When I was on my meet with the dog, the person asked intelligent questions and informed me of the history and health of the dog. They made sure that this particular dog was the right fit for my family. Clearly they want the best for the animals and care what homes they go to. I have rescued many dogs in the past but this experience has left me amazed. Way to go CCAS and please keep up the excellent work!!Sherry D

It has taken me six weeks to write this review and I apologize for that. I am still struggling with the loss of my cat George. Only special people can do your jobs. Special thanks to Lynn for comforting me in the waiting room and walking me out to my car. With love and appreciation, Raye CruiseRaye Cruise
The entire staff at North Port Animal Hospital have been absolutely wonderful. Every time we are there they are welcoming, kind, informative and reasonably priced. I have had many poor experiences at other veterinary offices and I am beyond happy that we were referred to North Port Animal Hospital for our dogs healthcare. We are grateful for them! Highly recommended if you want a fair priced compassionate and welcoming veterinary office.Elise Pignatora
I can't say enough nice things about the folks at North Port Animal Hospital. They are always excited to see Bear when he comes in, they understand his shortcomings (he's partially blind, and has very few teeth) and they are patient with me when I become a "helicopter" mom. It's so easy to reach them: I usually communicate by email which saves me time and allows the staff to get back to me at their convenience. Especially love Dr. B!nancy seiss

I have taken my kitten Sooty to Summerlin AH since I adopted him. I own an A/C company and, as somone who provides services, and has won many awards for service, I am seldom as impressed as I have been with this Vet practice. From my first appointment, I was reminded in advance by both email and telephone. Our first appt. was a breeze, we were never made to wait, whisked into an exam room, asked pertinent questions and then seen by Dr. John. Dr. John was very thorough and has been the Dr. we see every time we go. I really like that consistancy. He remembers Sooty, is engaged and listens to my concerns, answers all my questions and has made me feel confidant that I've chosen the right place for my Kitten's surgery, healthcare and chip implantation. Not only is Dr. John a real gem, but the ladies in his office are so friendly, considerate, knowledgeable and organized. My 79 year old mom gets worse care at her General Practitioner and that's no joke. I see one review that said if Dr. John took human patients they'd be the first in line…i agree 100%. Additionally, the staff at Summerlin is top notch and in this current employment situation, post COVID, that says a lot about how they feel about working there. They give it their all and it shows. Sooty has now had all his kitten shots, neutering/declaw surgery(my mother is on blood thinners and has paper thin skin so this was not a choice but the only way I could have a cat in our home. So, please don't judge), chip etc. Not one experience has differed from what I have described above. The service, follow up, and care that Summerlin AH offers is top notch and unparalleled. They may not be the least expensive, but they are also not the most. If your budget allows you to pay for service and quality, and if your time is valuable, this is the Vet for you!Suzanne Warnky
We've been with Dr. John for 17 years now and are so truly grateful for him and the entire staff at Summerlin Animal Hospital. Every single person there is so caring, kind, supportive, and accommodating. From routine care to emergency calls and the passing of one of our dogs, Dr. John, Dr. Karen, and staff have always gone above and beyond in caring for our animals, and making sure the humans are doing well too! We love Summerlin Animal Hospital and know you will as well.Kelly Buck
Have been going here for years to take care of my Peek-a-poo. Today I had my first appointment with their new veterinarian, Erica Fry, DVM. She was excellent and it was obvious that she enjoys her job! Dr. Erica discussed my aging dog and gave me numerous suggestions on how to keep her from falling down inside my condo. Who knew that they actually make rubber toe grips for dogs! She answered all my concerns. Will be requesting her for my future appointments!Diane Siess

Review Summary
My fur kids have been patients at AAH for nearly 4 years now (so this review is way overdue). They were the only vet I even considered after reading reviews. They've gone through some changes in these years, all of them good. I trust them with my kids' lives, literally. Everyone they have on staff is awesome and caring. I don't really have enough space to say all the wonderful things about everyone that I wish to express. Your kids are in expert hands for sure, they really put together the best team they possibly could. Every vet on staff is fantastic, caring, and all around excellent at their jobs. We mostly have seen Drs Clem, Gilette, and Moin, and they are truly wonderful. I also can't say enough nice things about the rest of the staff. My kids go to boarding at AAH every few months, and they just love all of their caretakers. They are currently caring for them and keeping me updated while I am in another state with my sick mother. I get excellent updates with any information I might want or need, they answer all of my questions, and they really take excellent care of my kids. I'm also very fond of the front end staff. They have to put up with plenty of phone calls with me, and they never make me feel like I'm bothering them, even if I feel like I must be by now. They answer questions, schedule all of the appointments, and call me back when they tell me they will, even though they're very busy. I haven't officially met the groomers (I have spoken to them over the phone though), but when my dogs are groomed, they do a fantastic job. My Luna hates having her nails trimmed (she was abused in her previous life), but they manage to do such a good job with it, and my girls always look so nice after. They are very busy so make your appointment asap!! I want the best for my kids, so this is where they go! They are extremely well taken care of at AAH! Everyone there makes my life easier, which I appreciate especially now while things are so chaotic. They have been kind and accommodating, which has truly lifted a huge weight off of my shoulders. If you decide to send your kids there (and you definitely should), I promise you they are in the best handsCaitlin K
If the option for 10 stars were available, this place would have them. I just lost my sweet Stella to congestive heart failure.. The staff and the Dr's were caring, loving and kind. Dr. Moin helped care for her with us, for the last few months.. She came up with so many idea's to keep her with me for as long as possible without letting her suffer…She has cried with me, laughed with me and loved my little girl with me.. I really don't have all the words to explain how special, kind, and caring she is.. the first time she met Stella she sat on the floor and loved her up before touching her with anything.. just to connect.. Dr. Moin, Dr. Clem, and the amazing staff are second to none.. Don't look anywhere else…Marian Finnk
This is our local, go-to vet for everything. We brought our one dog there for routine checkups and have always had a great experience. They are always fair and informative and help you leave knowing that they truly care. Most recently our angel/small fox terrier mix Elma was attacked by a loose neighbors dog without warning or provocation. Terrible and long story short, we were able to get Elma to Angel animal Hospital and they were just amazing. They were understanding, compassionate and cared for her in such a way that we cant thank them enough.Tim Logiovino

WHAT GOOD IS IT TO HAVE A GOOD VET IF YOU CAN'T AN APPOINTMENT TO SEE HER? I have been taking my dog to Bayshore for 5 years. I cannot get an appointment for my dog for 3 WEEKS! I was told, if I have an emergency or need an appointment before that, they can refer me to a vet in Ft Myers. I was referred to a new vet in Punta Gorda by a family member, was able to get an appointment in a week. I usually only take my dog for yearly checkups, but now he is a senior dog and having some issues, I need a vet that will see my dog when I need them.Sandy Merz
I am a disabled veteran, I take my service dog to the Bayshore animal Hospital. I have taken her to a few different veterinarians, they all paled in comparison. Every single person that I have dealt with here I think cares about Shiba as much as I do, and she is the love of my life so that means a lot to me. They are amazing I could not ask for more from them.Brennan Michael
We just moved to the area and tried to make an appointment for my Lola. I was told their 1st appointment wasn't for 6 weeks and required a $30.00 deposit to make an appointment! This is absurd and, frankly, outrageous! I could see being charged if an appointment is missed with no phone call, but to be charged ahead of time??!! No thanks.Kent H

Review Summary
An absolute horrible experience. I should have run for the door when I walked in and was overwhelmed by the smell of mold. Our beloved cat, Gidget, was diagnosed with lymphoma and a treatment plan or 4 radiation sessions followed by 3 chemo treatments was drawn up by Dr. Ratterree and a deposit of over $3000 was given. That didn’t include each time she was treated. After 3 radiation treatments she was given a clean bill of health (for the time being) When they bought her out to me they gave me a “graduation certificate” and tied a little bandanna stating “cancer survivor”. We were thrilled. I did ask if we would be getting money back because she only had less than half of the treatments, they said no. I was never satisfied with their answer that it was part of the original plan. Sounds like bad planning to me! Unfortunately, I am not done. A week later we brought her back because she was lethargic. She was tested for pancreatitis and was told the results would take 24 hours. I never got a call the next day which was Thursday. On Friday I called them and was told the results did come in but Dr. Ratterree wasn’t in that day and he would call me the following Monday. NOT ACCEPTABLE. I told her the urgency of how sick Gidget was and she said someone would call. When she called back she said she spoke with the Dr and Gidget did in fact have pancreatitis and needed IV fluids. It was recommended we contact our primary vet to come up with a plan as they are not open weekends. It would not make sense to start her on an IV only to remove it and bring her to a 24 hospital. I reached out to her primary care who reached out to Dr. Ratterree who informed our vet that I must have changed my mind because he had thought we were bringing her to Fetch to start the IV treatment. Wait? What? Our vet suggested taking her to Florida Veterinary Referral Center which we did right away. Fetch didn’t send over her records including her newest blood results for several hours. I had to call them twice. I got the call late that the lymphoma was back and aggressive. When they suggested a feeding tube and a transfusion we had to say goodbye. We couldn’t do that to her. FLVRC is compassionate, caring, professional and thorough. The complete opposite of Fetch. We spent over $7000 at Fetch for less than half of the treatments planned. It’s not so much the money as causing Gidget to suffer unnecessarily. There are many more examples of their incompetence but I believe I have said enough. We put Gidget down last Saturday morning and I still have not heard from them. No compassion whatsoever, just looking for the almighty dollar.Pamela May
I rarely write reviews but after almost a year after my dog's brain tumor diagnosis I wanted to share our experience with Fetch. After spending more than $10K in emergency vets, neurology appointments and dozens of medications we discovered Bilbo's brain tumor when it was in a late stage and inoperable due to the size and complexity of the surgery. His vet neurology at the moment gave him a prognosis of 3-6 months to live without a radiation therapy (only viable option since surgery was discarded and chemo had no clear results of improvements). After weeks thinking, we decided to schedule a virtual appointment with Dr. Ratterree to learn more about the treatment and pricing. Thanks to the help of dear friends and family we were able to pay for the treatment (not cheap at all) and on top of that my husband drove more than 5 thousand miles in less than a month (we live in south florida) to be able to commit with the treatment plan. At that time it was emotionally, physically and financially draining but almost a year later I can't say in words how happy we are seeing Bilbo back to his normal self, having a normal life despite his prognosis at that time. This week he is turning 6yo thanks to Fetch amazing team. We will be forever grateful!Poliana Branti
Holly was diagnosed at the age of 2 with t cell lymphoma and was in very bad shape. We were referred to Dr. Ratterree and thanks to the treatment he prescribed, Holly is now a healthy beautiful 5 year old. She went through the CHOP protocol and Dr. Ratterree and staff went out of their way to get trained in an experimental monoclonal antibody therapy treatment for t cell lymphoma. Holly goes in for check ups and has been in remission for almost 3 years. Dr. Ratterree also treated our Maine Coon cat who ended up with a cancerous growth around her eye using targeted radiation treatments. We would strongly recommend anyone dealing with canine or feline cancer diagnosis schedule an appointment with one of the doctors at CancerVets to discuss treatment options. When cancer bites, you can fight back! CancerVets will definitely give you options on fighting back the cancer!Pamela Storrar

I am grateful to have found Homestead Veterinary Medical Center. We rescued a 7 month old puppy that had been dumped and shot. We were seen right away. The doctor and staff were so compassionate and helpful when it came to providing care and medication for Pierce. I can’t wait to watch our puppy get stronger and healthier. You have forever changed the way we feel about veterinarians. Soon we’ll be bringing our felines for check-ups too. Thank you for everything you’ve done for us. The Foster FamilyDulce Maloy
My dog Bella ingested one of my pills for meddlesome and it got very bad, her strength was going out and her bowels was black, I took her immediately to the veterinary and the doctor knew immediately what to do, my dog had 3 days in IV more with antibiotic and had recovered the strength again. I am very grateful to the doctor and the ladies who works in the veterinarian they treated Bella as if were theirs. I recommend 100% this animal clinical.Neidaliz Santiago
My mother’s chihuahua, Binky got the Parvo virus and this team saved her life!!! They sprung into action super fast and went well beyond their duty to care for her dog. My mother was informed of everything being done in a timely manner. The amount of compassion this team has is remarkable and breathtaking. We will forever be grateful for everything and everyone that played a role in saving Binky’s life. THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF OUR HEARTS!!!Merelyn Mendez

I had the best experience at Shoppes of Estero. From the moment I made my appointment, I felt welcome and treated like a concierge customer. The day I brought my new puppy in for her spay, we were warmly greeted at the front desk and our excellent experience started there. Because I had lost a previous pet during her spay, much care and concern was taken to make me feel comfortable. I was called with an update after her spay and then when I took her home, I was called to see how she was doing and to ask if I had any questions. This is my vet now and I will continue to recommend Shoppes of Estero Animal Hospital to everyone!Beth Larson
Staying at a nearby state park, our cat got very sick and they were most accommodating in recognizing the emergency. They got us right in and rendered treatment and then followed up first thing the next morning. We then hurried home to see our regular vet and they gladly sent records and X-rays. Professional and compassionate and focused on the welfare of your pet. We can’t say enough about how wonderful they are. And in the end, Jack the Cat is now doing fine.Bob Nemens
I brought my dog here a few days ago to have a skin legion checked out. He was given 2 injections and sent home with two more oral medications. It was a precautionary visit to ensure he didn’t have an infection. Turned out to be just a scab from a previous event. Since his visit my dog has been completely lethargic, no energy and certainly not himself. As far as I’m concerned this was a quick $300 money grab. Don’t send your pet here.Charles Cellucci

When we moved to Florida I was so worried about finding the right vet for our senior dog Mickie. I knew it would be a huge adjustment for her and I worried about her health as she was slowly starting to decline. And then I found Dr. Smith and Dr. Peters at Baywood! I knew our worries about finding the right vet was over. They helped us take care of our girl, and made sure she had the best quality of life, until we had to let her go after she was diagnosed with a very aggressive type of cancer. 💔 We will always be grateful for everything they did for us, and for her. Not long after we lost her we rescued another baby girl, Callie who had a very rough start at life. We have been working very closely with Dr. Peters at resolving her health issues while understanding that her background may also be playing a role in things. It's amazing when you can actually physically see the changes in your pet as you figure out what works for them. Medications, food trials, behavior modification, so many positive things can happen if you feel comfortable with your vet and discuss options. It's funny because that's the hardest thing about finding a family physician. I have always felt rushed and have only found a few amazing doctors for myself that actually take the time to really listen and help. You always leave thinking about all the things you forgot to ask because you just felt rushed. It's not like that at Baywood. They will listen and they will answer your questions. ♥️🐈🐕🐈🐕🐈🐕♥️ I'm one of those over the top obsessed dog moms that worries about everything. Paranoid crazy dog mom. Dr. Peters has such a beautiful heart, she will make me feel "not so crazy" about worrying. 😂 I've laughed and cried many times there. I'm telling you, Dr. Smith and Dr. Peters are simply amazing. No matter who you see there, you will get amazing care. I try not to jump back and forth, especially with our girls complex issues but I trust them, and anyone they trust with our girl. They will take their time with you and your pet, and they will actually listen to all your concerns. In doing this and just being so thorough, they've diagnosed things we weren't even there to have checked!!! They understand that we love our animals and that we bring them there out of love and concern…you may walk in feeling hopeless, but you will walk out feeling hopeful, and you'll have a plan. You'll understand your options. You will be placing the care of your cherished best friend in the hands of people that genuinely have a passion to help them live their longest, best life possible, with you. The staff is always welcoming and so friendly and honestly I'm not surprised. They also do grooming so our girl gets her spa day combined with her vet visit so it's less car rides and vet trips. She isn't much of a fan of either so we get to limit them both by scheduling them together. They do boarding too which we haven't needed yet, but it makes sense if we ever have to leave her somewhere, to leave her there where we know she will be safe. She knows everyone already, it's a familiar place and her Vets are right there with all of her records. ♥️ Everything and everyone at Baywood is all about top quality. And if you love your pet like we do, you want nothing less than the best. So, congratulations on finding your babies the best vets in SWFL. ♥️🐾🐕♥️ when you call to make an appointment, please tell them Princess Callie says hello.Carrie Gibson
I am new in town and my cat was sick. I checked out reviews for vets in the area, and Baywood consistently was at the top. I have to admit, I was a bit hesitant to go to a VCA affiliated vet. I had read some articles that corporate investors often put pressure on the economics of the practice, which could sometimes affect the quality of care (rushed), cost of the care (higher), and the overall experience (eg hard selling and up selling, and sometimes feeling like a transaction). Well, I can tell you I experienced none of that at Baywood!! Every single interaction, from the receptionists, to the vet techs, to the doctor- everyone is so warm, friendly, and takes whatever time is necessary to provide care, answer questions, and discuss next steps. And they were cost conscious, offering alternative treatments, while discussing pros/cons of each. They even follow up with a call the next day(s) to check in. I found that the VCA affiliation actually provides quite a few benefits and conveniences that aren’t usually available at a typical vet, including online appointment scheduling, reminders, pay by text (even with apple pay), emailed receipts, online prescription orders/refills, a wealth of online resources for the doctors, staff and pet owners, plus a new patient care kit with some goodies and freebies. And they have an app that makes accessing all that info even easier, plus an easy way to use or transfer to other VCA vets, including a network of specialists. There is also a live online chat available with doctors 24/7, for a small fee. All in all I am very pleased with my choice!Lisa S
First, let me say that the staff I dealt with was very nice! However, my most recent experience was more of a sales pitch than care for my pet. My previous visit was 18 months prior, one which I was happy with. I hadn't been back because I was traveling and visited other vets. I made an appointment for EXACTLY the same service I had previously and was expecting somewhere around the same $148 cost. This visit it jumped to $318! We also sat in the car for 30 minutes past appointment and then another hour and a half while my cat was inside (note this appointment I do every 6 months for regular bloodwork and typically takes about 20 minutes). Not only was my bill more than a 100% increase, the vet also spent quite a lot of time trying to sell me all kinds of other things. In the days after my appointment, I received MANY emails trying to sell me more things. I totally understand they are trying to make a living, but so are the rest of us. The most frustrating part is I asked to have nails clipped when I made the appointment, at check in, and when I spoke to the vet directly. They never got done!!! I will not return!!! And am honestly very disappointed in how this practice has changed from patient focused to profit focused.Tonya Sweetser

Fax exceeded any experience I had with vet care. We were on vacation and my poodle started having seizure like symptoms. I called this place due to location and Google ratings. Their phone greeting script is this an emergency … I knew I was in the right place. I told her yes and she immediately started getting the info about my pup. She told me she needed to check with the vet hut stay on the line and start heading there now. She came back in less than a minute and said we will be ready when you get here. She then asked do you mind if I get more info from you while you are on the way. She talked to us until we were almost there. I walked in and they immediately knew who we were, sent us directly back and the vet was coming through the other door. They immediately started evaluating him. Provided him with excellent care. We also observed them with other pups, they had a ton of staff so they were able to help us and still care for other pets. Even single person we observed was so kind to us and so patient and kind to the animals. They were doing an xray for a big pup and he wasn't happy. They had 4 or 5 of them playing and cuddling him to get it done. I cannot tell you how knowledgeable and grateful I am for this team or true professionals. I wish we lived here because we would have made this our vet. We live our vet back home but the urgency and compassion this office Stagg and vet showed my pup and family was by far the best we have ever received.Tyja Nichole
My dog woke up throwing up blood which caused me to panic. Being that we are members of Banfield I immediately contacted our local facilities but none had availability for weeks, which is the last thing you want to hear with a sick pup. The receptionist suggested we reach out to an emergency vet, so I decided to call VCA simply because of their great reviews. I am so relieved to say VCA lived up to their reputation! They answered immediately with an opening within the hour. Everyone from the front desk, nurses to doctor were kind and made us feel cared for. Dr. Tucker examined my fur baby, prescribed medicine and advice. She was very gentle and compassionate. Everything was also fairly priced compared to vets we’d visited in the past so that was a second sigh of relief! Should we have any problems in the future I will without a doubt be returning to VCA Miracle Mile and I can’t thank them enough! Urgency, availability and genuine concern is all you can ask for from a vet and they delivered ten fold. I hope they are able to help any other scared pet parents the way they helped me and my baby.richie rich
Long post but if you love your pets please read! While watching my grand fur baby, she had a seizure. I called the vet from Banfield Hospital close to 7 PM where she is registered, but they were closing and refused to see her. I called VCA miracle mile clinic who was also closing but didn’t hesitate and told me to bring her right in. As soon as we walked in the door the staff was awesome from Kailyn in reception, Lisa the tech and Katie the kennel tech . You would not even know that they should be home already! The vet Bonnie Tucker was amazing. We were there until 8 PM and nobody went home until my pup was OK. The vet took great care of my grand pup and treated her and me with such care and compassion. I was truly impressed with everyone in that office. I thank them from the bottom of my heart for staying late to save my grand pup please consider them for your pets needs.Donna Vilardi

Review Summary
I am adding to my original review. Still impressed by the compassionate care our three dogs recieve. Seriously the best vet we have used in over twenty years of pet ownership, all over the world. Pine Island Animal hospital has the following. 1. Compassionate respectful care. The Vet will take time to answer questions and listen. 2. The groomer cared for our dog in a respectful manner. We don't visit the groomer often and this was the third groomer we used. The first two had him coming home upset and scared, almost to the point that we gave up. He is 100 pounds and seeing him nervous and upset is nothing like his normal happy disposition. When we picked him up from Pine Island Animal hospital he was dancing around like a puppy and you can tell he felt pretty. 3. They never make you wait and I never feel like they are trying to oversell us on services or options. 4. When we go our dogs are never afraid to go it. They like the staff and have enjoyed being boarded their.D. Clark
It would have been a 1 star had it not been for the exceptional customer service of the woman at the front desk with short hair. Her colleague failed to check me in (even though she said she did) and I was there for almost 2 hours for a simple heart worm test. The lady whom I am ashamed to say that I don't remember her name, apologized profusely, got someone to help me immediately and then proceeded to call pharmacies to see who could fill the prescription. I was clearly not happy about the situation but she was very sweet and honestly made all the difference. I highly recommend giving her a raise. People like her do not exist in the workforce anymore.Me P.
While vacationing on Pine Island, our boxer's tumor condition worsened to the point that she needed surgery right away. Naturally, we were concerned going to a clinic that we didn't know. The initial visit we were met with kindness, compassion, professionalism. Dr. Steely knew what she needed and was able to take care of her right away. Everyone in the office was friendly, spoiled our girl, treated her like she was their own. She is healing nicely. She is back to her bouncy and happy self. We couldn't have had a better experience. We recommend Pine Island Animal Clinic to anyone who needs care for their pet.Leslie Stuck

Review Summary
Very kind when providing me with superior end of life care for my yellow lab Happy who was diagnosed with Acute Leukemia. Her cancer took her fast and I had a hard time wrapping my head around Happy dying when only a month before she appeared to be a healthy 8 year old lab. Within two weeks of her diagnosis she started losing control of bodily functions. Cape Coral Pet Clinic gave us a safe place to go where we could spend final time together peacefully before she left this world. I just had got another puppy for us, which she provided great behavior examples to. I miss her and so does my puppy Guns. Thank you to staff that assisted me that day! I’ll never forget your kindness! Territerri o'brien
A BIG thank you to the wonderful staff at Cape Coral Pet Vet !!! Recently moved to Cape Coral and was in need of a vet immediately. I was so fortunate to find Cape Coral Pet Vet and it had great reviews. I am so very thankful that the receptionist Peggy was helpful and able to get me into the clinic the same day. Abbie the vet tech was very sweet and professional. Dr. Lomnicki was AWESOME. Very personable, sweet and and able to answer my questions. My boy Zeke thanks Dr. Lomnicki for the attention and treats he received.. I love a smaller more personable vet office that can give my pets GREAT quality care. I will definitely be back with all 5 of my fur babies.Jennifer Fritsch
Finally a veterinarian that CARES!!! I called today for a new patient appointment for my sick Siberian Husky and they got us an appointment right away. The receptionist was very kind, the techs very loving, and Dr. Husted was amazing. The clinic is clean and tidy. I took my senior dog to another vet 2 weeks ago and I was told problems were solved. This week the problem was back and I decided it was time for a second opinion. Dr. Husted told me what was actually going on and gave me a ton of information and showed that she cares. If you love your pet please bring them here!! We will be back in 10 days for a follow up and to get a plan in place for my baby.Susan C
