20 Best Surgical Tech Programs In Philadelphia, PA (2022 Updated)

I went to Delaware County Community College part time for four years after high school. It's one of the best decisions I ever made. I really didn't know what I wanted to do right out of high school and I didn't want to go to a super expensive university and still not be sure. I started out with general studies. I just finished my Liberal Arts associate's degree there this past spring. I enjoyed my time at this school. I got to take a lot of different classes to really figure out what I like and what I dislike, and it's way more affordable to do that here. The campus is beautiful, especially the STEM center. There's lots of helpful services and the professors I had were great. I'm now transfering to another school to study graphic design and I feel like DCCC helped me get on the right track. I would highly recommend this school to everyone!Natalie Cellini

The cost isn't horrible and the classes are similar to classes offered by four year universities. The problems I have lie with the administration (financial aid, career center, cashier office.) They do not know how to deal with students in a timely, concise manner. I was unable to get in and complete a single course for the last two years due to administrative problems, even though I had been with them previously. I went here from fresh out of high school from 2016-2019 and graduated there with my associates. Such a Beautiful campus and I had a very great experience at DCCC, I’ve had some pretty good professors during my time there although some did seem to only be there for a check. During my time here I was also in the KEYS program and they have such wonderful staff very helpful and friendly. Please read regarding the 46th ranked PCOM PA program! After attending PCOM PA program, I made it out by the skin of my teeth, literally!! I spoke with numerous PA colleagues from other programs and my experience was horrible compared to theirs. I applied to PCOM because I knew of the name PCOM hold but that really only applies to the DO program, the PA program is explained below. The PA program is run by people who could careless about you as a student. I say this factually because I have heard them talking about how they only care about their PANCE 1st time pass rate. What this means is they wouldn’t care if they lost over 75% of the class as long as those that finished passed the PANCE 1st time. Professor say differently but they don’t mean it in their actions. The averages on tests are low 80's, they provide NO CURVE or grade BOOSTERS and you need to keep a 3.0 to progress through program! Even the employees in the learning center, who offer tutoring and study techniques say that the PA program is not well managed is over kill and loses many students. For example in 1 term we have a 10 credit class but sit in class for 16-18 hrs a week for it. Then we have a 10% exam that covers 16 different ppt that are minimum of 60 slides each all taught and tested on under 14 days. Finals were comprehensive – 100Q test that covered 90 ppt all about 60 slides each. That is 5,400 slides of information! Again that is just one class and all the 2 credit classes are very similar. They have a Pathology class for the PA students but its not directed to PA, its the EXACT same lectures and tests the DO students get but PA students get 1/3 the time to learn and digest info. Each of those PPT range from 100-150 slides each. The best class though in the program is the Pharmacology. That professor actually seems like she cares about you as a student and writes straight forward Qs to test your knowledge. I get that PA school or any Masters program is challenging and should require a little more thinking and work. But at PCOM they teach you the same curriculum that the DO program gets but you have to do it in 1/3rd the time. They never test you on Keyword or Hallmark information that the PANCE tests you on. PCOM tests you on the pointless information that they find within the required reading of a 2000 pg textbook called Current medical diagnosis & treatment, which is a medical reference book not a textbook. To me I think they literally flip to a page and with eyes closed placed their finger on a spot and then write a Q based off the word their finger landed on. When it comes to the clinical rotations they have the most strict guidelines ever and rarely if ever give students their suggestions they would like! Out of my whole class, I think only 1 person got a rotation they suggested and there were about 60 students who have ability to submit. PS this is Pre Covid, I doubt they let anyone now post covid. I submitted 3 and got 0 I wanted, including my elective!!! Finally you have to do a RESEARCH PAPER in this program. The research professor is very belittling in how he talks to students. The research paper is a waste of time and pointless in teaching you how to be a PA. It solely is to make the PA program look good by them posting it on their webpages. They could make the class way more enjoyable and not full of busy work, but the rumor around the program is that the professors purposely want to take you to your breaking point not help you excel. I’m glad I barely made it through and ever have to deal with PCOM again, I'll never donate or be a rotation site for them! I hope by sharing my view of the school this makes people question even applying to PCOM. We need PAs out in the world, go to another school as being a PA is not about jumping through a million hoops and doing countless busy work assignments that PCOM mandates all while being continually put down and belittled by various professors in the way they talk to you.B J

I was recommended to see Dr. Todd Kelman by Dr. Robby Pullen to look at an x-ray taken of my right hand. He wants me to have an MRI to reach a better conclusion than the x-ray shows. We shall see what the final outcome will be. Today, I had an appointment to see Dr. Kelman for an injection on my right hand. Hopefully this will bring some relief. The swelling had decreased somewhat, and because of other medical issues, there is a limitation of methods to be employed. Arthritis is not only painful, but also a nuisance. I'll check with Dr. Kelman in a couple of weeks to see how everything is progressing.Harold Tucker

I left a message about changing pharmacies and expected to wait a while for a call back, but the delightful Fatima reached out to me within 5 minutes of my call and was already working on transferring my prescription. Are you a working individual looking to earn a degree? Don’t go to Harrisburg Community College. This college uses Technology that is not easy to learn and I am good with Computers. Want to speak with a Advisor, well my advisor lives in South Carolina so I can only conduct a meeting via Zoom, the college is taking ALL personal interactions away. And working individuals…well i hope your not trying to spend any time with family and friends because I leave my 40 hour week job and I do school work for 5-8 hours a night and on my weekends. Forget about spending anytime with my wife and three children….I am taking 3 classes. Don’t ask the teachers a question, they just refer you to the syllabus…well clearly I am asking you a question because I didn’t understand it. I am military, yesterday I had duty and i didn’t get my project submitted, I logged in tonight to submit the project and the instructor removed the instructions, and locked the drop box so I couldn’t submit the assignment. I could keep going but I don’t have time…if your a working individual, don’t fall for the things they tell you.William Bricker

If I could give this institution a lower than one star rating, I would. For a community college, the course costs, books, and fees seem to be immense. I had professors who took half or more of the class periods to talk about themselves, personal topics and politics. I’ve also had professors assign English paper topics about personal things and I imagine he laughed at the student’s papers later in his free time. The required intro to college class professor had us playing with popsicle sticks and jars of rocks and sand. The certifying official for the VA office submitted my paperwork incorrectly. I dropped my classes and incurred debt because of how poorly the education at HACC is. They seem to be all about the money and not the education or students. I can’t even request a transcript for my new school because of “debts” to HACC. I no longer live in Pennsylvania and I am now attending a MUCH better school, and I am very glad. I would never recommend this school to anyone. This is not a good school, don’t waste your money and time.SMK3181

Most professors are nice but my overall experience was bad. I went here to try to accomplish a 2 year degree but every time course selection came around they didn’t have the classes I needed so I got stuck taking hardly any credits each semester. The majority of advanced classes are online only. They offer almost zero advanced courses in a classroom. So happy I made the decision to transfer. Not to mention how every time I scheduled a meeting with an advisor it either got cancelled without notice or they changed me to a new advisor who could not give me a single piece of useful advice.Kate

i have an associates degree from a previous college plus attending the university of Scranton for a year and appearing on their deans list. Going to Lackawanna was def a step back for me. I was accepted into the surgical tech program and thought it was my lucky break. First before I go into the details of the program I’d like to say that the professors I had besides the surgical tech (while nice) mostly read off of powerpoints , which we students can do ourselves…. the tests were up in the air as to study what. They expected you to read a whole chapter (science) and retain every critical detail. The surgical tech program was a nightmare. Not because it was hard, but because the teacher, Purnell created a very hostile environment. She would teach the skills once and expected you to get every step correctly the first time. She loved berating students and while the course is very serious because one deals with infection prevention she seemed to forget that just because she knows the skill that we were still learning, all the while being out of touch with updated surgical technology like instruments and procedures and new sterilization techniques.She definitely had her favorites and if you weren’t one you’re going to know you’re not. Snatching and cursing is one of the many ways she’ll teach you. I had heard from previous students she had worked in McCann school and was known to throw objects around whenever she was frustrated with students. While I was going through personal problems n didn’t do as well as I’d like , I decided to quit the program because honestly, you can’t learn from someone who doesn’t want to teach. DO NOT GO HERE FOR CYBER SECURITY, or any online classes for that matter. TL:DR You dont get support or help with anything important. If you want this level of education buy a CCNA study guide on Udemy. The online classes will not help you in any way. It is up to you to find the external resources to help. There is no "hay I need help with this", you are completely on your own. I am stuck at this school because I cant afford anything else and yet this is still a complete scam. I have gone through just about 2 semesters and this school can't provide as much as a zoom call. They have nothing technology related for any elective. So a majority of your classes aren't related to cybersecurity in any way. I have had to take a criminal justice class, and a macroeconomics class. Wasting both my time and money. This state has much better schools, however they are a lot of money. Do your best to get a scholarship and get out to them for cybersecurity. Don't get stuck here at this college. If you want to receive a degree anytime soon DON'T GO HERE. My friend has been working for his associates degree and had 4 finale classes to finish. He passed 3 of them with all A's and on his 4 class receive a D because of a computer mix up and receive 5/50 on two assignments even though they were turned in on time but the assignments were flipped. Not only did the teacher give him that grade when he realized the mistake and emailed her about it but she also waited till the very last minute to grade everything in the class for everyone. This was the last class he needed and now has to wait a whole year to have a chance to receive his associates degree. This is crazy and I want the school and the public to know how infuriated I am about this. There is no reason anyone should be treated like this. Finally came around to writing this review… My boyfriend was brought into the ER through an ambulance in November of 2021. I was with him on the ambulance and was told I’d have to come in through the visitor entrance and meet him inside later. Because of COVID, only one person was allowed to visit and they were only allowed to visit once he got a room in the ER. What was supposed to be a simple procedure went terribly wrong (the doctors/nurses were not at fault, it was an unexpected complication that occurred). The front desk kept giving me run arounds, telling me on the phone I can come in to see him, but when I got there telling me I can’t see him. They gave me run arounds for a while, which I’m assuming is because of the unexpected complication. What I would say is the front desk of the emergency room was highly unprofessional. While my boyfriend was bleeding out in the ER and ultimately passed away, the front desk was getting annoyed with me asking about the status of my boyfriend when they were the ones telling me I could come back in but then retracting what they said once I got there. Not only that, but one of the front desk lady even proceeded to ask me how old I was and commented on the age gap of me and my boyfriend. I found this highly unprofessional and it only added to my grief. It took a while for me to come around and write this review because I was so upset with the whole situation.Mina

I just want to say the communication with this hospitals prenatal care is the absolute worst . This is my first pregnancy and the treatment I have received has been horrible . They want you to communicate through their portal directly but you don’t get a response for days . I had a small scare and reached out via portal and the message has still not been responded to . Thank god I went into another doctors office and was able to get my questions answered and my issue taken care of that way . I live 45 min from this hospital and still chose to do my care here because they are supposed to be the best in Philadelphia but I have yet to experience the best from them . Instead I get slighted and smart responses via their portal when I complain about having to wait over their 48 hours required time of response which is still pretty steep . I requested to get my records released to Another hospital because pregnancy should be treated as a priority and not put on the back burner when questions or concerns come up.Jasmin Nixon

So far I absolutely love them I have 3 1/2 more months of prenatal care with them. I didn’t have any prenatal care for he first two trimesters (well half of the second) because I could not get an appointment at hup until my 3rd trimester ( they said they had nothing available at all) so I decided to just give them a call (Pennsylvania hospital) they got me in same week scheduled every kind of appointment I missed the same week , answered every question I had. Im really glad I found this school to pursue my ultrasound career. The teachers and staff were amazing, our ultrasound teachers were there for us 100% of the time. Mary Beth stayed after class and tutored me almost everyday for a few hours. The faculty at this school truly care about their students and the education they are receiving, they go above and beyond to help us achieve our goals. I would highly recommend this program to anyone looking to go to school for ultrasound. They have a variety of machines to learn on as well as phantoms. Great Lakes offers a wide variety of programs to get you started in the medical field. I toured the facility with the intent on becoming a nurse, but after seeing everything Great Lakes offered I am now working towards my associates in surgical technology. If you’re looking to go to trade school for automotive this is the right school for you. First and foremost, the school is small in terms of the student size meaning you’ll have a smaller classroom and more hands on practice with the professors. The classes are divided into 13 classes, one classes per month ranging from 8am to 2pm however breaks are given during class and most of the time you’re leaving before 2pm. The professors are total sweethearts, they do their best to make sure you understand every little things. All the help is provided for you at no extra cost included tutoring if you felt like you didn’t do well in a certain class. Can’t forget the ladies up front, they do their best as well to provide a structure system for the school to run at its best and the President itself is amazing. Being a student at Lincoln Tech also comes with great advantages, you’ll be recognize anywhere as soon as you say you’re a Lincoln Tech student ( that also includes the discounts you get at certain locations). When you attend Lincoln Tech you’re not just going to a trade school but a community, a community that will stay with you through your whole career. when I Enrolled in class and to be honest, I was very nervous about starting. But honestly the moment I walked in the door It felt like a big family, when I spoke to the instructor's they were very nice, and they really care about your education and want you to succeed it's not one person in the building that won't help you when you need it. You really learn a lot about automotive technology and the best part is the program is hands on I mean you do have classroom time but that comes with any school also if you need help you can stay after class or come in an extra day for more help. I am 42 years old and currently enrolled in the Endoscopy Technician Program and I had no idea I would end up loving it as much as I do. I have two instructors Patrick and Mayuri they are amazinggggg. Patrick and Mayuri work so well together as a team and are both very knowledgeable in this field. I love having two instructors because my classmates and I get so much attention and they both make themselves available if we need them after school hours. The program is accelerated so it is a lot of info fast but as a working mother of two I am able to handle it and I drive an hour away to get to campus. I feel that I got my money’s worth from the school and I have learned so much and I enjoy being in the lab and memorizing the surgical instruments. Both instructors have worked in the field and I love how they offer personal stories of working in the field to give us an idea of what we will be dealing with. I read another review that was complaining about “sitting around and doing nothing on our phones” personally I feel that person wasn’t smart enough to utilize that time to study, memorize instruments or complete homework. I have not taken my national exam yet however I feel that AIMS Education has prepared me thus far. I cannot say I have any complaints so far everyone in financial aid is helpful and job placement for clinicals has been wonderful so far and I will do a follow up review after my clinicals and discuss how quickly I found a job and how my internship went.crazyapplepants546

I have recently graduated from the Diagnostic medical sonographer program at AIMS and had a very positive experience. The program offers more than what others schools do. At my clinical site, students from others schools were lacking the knowledge and skill for certain type of exam that needed to be done since their school did not offer it. I had great experience from the start. All the teachers, staff and administrators were helpful from the start. Even when struggling with something they say down and asked what’s going on and how can I improve? I am currently employed and it is due to the resources that student services provided and helped me throughout the employment process. The class size was perfect for me since I keep to myself. The pace was fast but you get used to it. Pandemic did not make it easy on everyone but somehow we got thought the material and clinicals with everyone’s effort. Prism Career Institute Philadelphia Campus LPN program PN 38 Started in Nov 2018 Graduate in March 2020 Day Pilot Program I went to Aria RN program but left when I had my son. The Prism program reminds me of Aria's RN program in it's quality. I think it's even better because of how much the teachers care and come from an understanding perspective. From the DON to the teachers, us students are regarded as unique individuals with the potential of becoming quality nurses. We're treated with the utmost respect and taken seriously. How kind and helpful the teachers are encourages us to study harder. The program is accredited and will be for couple more years (confirm before you join any program). The clinical instructors are very helpful. A few may need to brush up on the exact protocol but other than that a lot of the instructors are very knowledgeable, relaxed, caring and welcome questions to enhance our learning. They do not look for reasons to fail students. The simulation lab helps you to further learn nursing skills and is done in a way where privacy is upheld (other students and teachers are not privy to what you have done in the sim lab). The practice dummy has simulated breath sounds, vital signs etc. to help create life like events seen on clinical floors. The guidance counselors help you tremendously in finding jobs and guiding you to a RN program. Some negatives include the bathrooms being messy time to time. Students can come off rowdy, unprofessional and immature. But sitting in the front can avoid any issues with students who talk during lecture time. Some days I do find classes starting really late due to teacher's unpreparedness. Selection of where we do clinicals need to be improved. Few of the clinical sites were a little gut wrenching but at least the clinical instructors made it tolerable. If you are trying to decide between the LPN and RN program let the TEAS exam decide for you. If you scored just enough for the LPN program definitely pick the Prism program especially if it's close to you and affordable. This can be the stepping stone in the health field for you that you need.Laya Thomas

This school’s zoom teaching during the pandemic has been a complete mess! This place gets you to the last semester and fails people over and over because they weren’t prepared from the second semester! I feel very sorry four the students that go here because teaching on zoom and working on manaquins is not a proper way to train a nurse. Without hands-on in person clinical it’s very difficult for the students to grasp the concepts. The teaching of the nursing courses Is actually done by reading power points to them and that’s it! There’s no helpful Counseling on how to get through these tests there’s no guidance! I can’t understand why they can’t look at the test that they’re giving and give test prep questions on their subjects but the teacher said that requires her to do more work and she’s not doing it ! She said and I quote it’s time for all of you to get off the training wheels! What kind of support person trying to get students through a pandemic teaching situation would talk to them Like that! tutoring consist of the exact same thing zoom classes making you bring to them what you don’t understand instead of them helping you grasp the concepts of the things that you are failing! Person after person keeps saying I’m failing and failing and failing and they’re doing nothing but collecting money hoping for the next semester to come along and they can collect more money but not change anything ! these reviews on this site are serious issues that need to be addressed. I feel duped I’m sure most of the other students Do too! this was a total letdown I understand the pandemic closed for different schooling situations but my God reading from a PowerPoint is not teaching! Yes anybody could do that my 15-year-old daughter could do that! There’s a difference between the nurse and the nurse teacher. Plus the state seems to randomly show up a lot! Save yourself money and time. Anytime I mention the school to anybody people cringe and say oh my God that’s cool is so bad!!!! I have experienced observing and hearing students in the community also read some of the reviews which are subjective, To obtain true thorough reviews The Main Question is what is the passing percentage of the students who complete and graduate along with what is the percentage for passing the State Boards. If the percentage is low then the focus is the teachers and course format, itinerary. Students that I had observed, and overheard their frustrations appear to be with the faculty. Labeled as poor teaching methods, and knowledge is limited, they just read from "book" along with having a personality of a friend, street affect when speaking, or answering a question, and is probably because the teacher wants to be friendly, liked , but that is not a professional way. So additional questions for a true review, Is the State monitoring close not only the format of course, but is what is written and accredited being implemented through thorough teaching, mentoring, etc. . Remember any course, program, etc. is considered a Great, Successful, Recommendable, etc. is those who excel with high student success , achievements……not low passing percentages and low drop out rates. Also, If the school has low success outcomes I would assume the State would place more attention to ensure full correct accreditation, which is another question, how many times does the State do an on site check and if there are trends, is the Plan of Correction not only submitted by school, but is is implemented by school to ensure success and increase of achieved outcomes of goals . So reviews are superficial, and for a career choice ensure you obtain the facts for the program, of career course. Sabrina was an amazing instructor who teaches with a lot of personalized one on one education. She taught the content thoroughly and in a way that it sticks with the students. It was an exceptional hands-on training with a lot of material taught during the week. The instructor has considerable amount of experience in the field and has great teaching methods of active recall, spaced repetition and interleaving the skills. The simulators are very well thought for the skills learned. The environment was fast paced but the instructor takes the time to observe everyone and teach and correct perhaps the things we have been doing wrong for years. Hands down, the best school to attend. It has an excellent 6 day lab course that will definitely get you prepared to start your clinical rotation with confidence in what you're doing. The instructors always answer any questions you may have and in a timely manner. The online learning makes it so easy to work at your own pace. Great Class! I am an NP and took the class to help with my hospital credentialing. I learned a TON about suturing. I am excited to take my skills back to my surgeon and practice! NOTE: Make sure if you're an NP you check to see if you need the whole certification or just the skills lab. It's okay. Produce is okay. Sometimes they don't have great options. Sometimes the produce is moldy. Once I went in and every pint of grape tomatoes has fuzzy mold on them. I originally had this as a 4 star rating but then I also ended up buying moldy mushrooms as well. I couldn't tell in the store but when I opened them they were bad. They must not be keeping track of how long the produce is on the shelves. Meat is just eh. But the prices are good. Lines are usually not too long. Helpful and friendly staff, clean floors and neatly stocked shelves and wide isles. I never seen the store overcrowded which is a plus and every time I was there they had staff in the parking lot that check to see if you need help loading groceries or to take your cart as you finish putting stuff in your vehicle. Alot of specialty counters for different hot foods and Awsome Bakery. Give this hidden gem a try.Bobby

One of my favorite stores is better than IGA THEY have most produce avocados peaches, tomatoes, sweet potatoes, grapes strawberries, blueberries , goods. GHR Allied Health has been a wonderful change for me! Lauren – staffing manager and Kirsten – recruiter have been amazing every step of the way. They have always been true to their word on every detail of Assignments, Pay, Hours, Stipends, etc and can work with almost any schedule – (obviously facility dependent) They cultivate a 1 on 1 relationship with each traveler in order to place them in assignments that work best for both them and the client. Wonderful beyond belief. Words can not describe the facility and the care. I supported them for years based upon reputation. but I recently had reason to spend time there and the level of dedication to the children is beyond belief. They deal with some major child problems and the skill is to be admired but beyond that the way they make the children comfortable while they must face monumental challenges is just unbelievable. 10 stars to the skill of the surgeons, 10 stars to the after care and the nurse staff, 10 stars to the design of the facility and how everything is designed to help bring the child to ease and comfort.David DiMeglio

I am a Zamora Roadrunner Shriner from Birmingham Alabama, this is not one of our normal hospitals but I got the opportunity to take this patient transport trip. As soon as we walked in we were greeted with open arms. Words can not describe how they treated our patient. First place that ever gave my daughter a diagnosis of CP after 1 1/2 of no answers. Even when our insurance denies for special equipment she needs. Shriners always takes care of her. This program was a great experience. Very feasible, straightforward and easy going. I appreciate each and every one of my instructors that I have met in this three month period. They have taught me a lot. They are very skilled in this field and I would have not wanted it any other way, glad I took the opportunity and trusted these gentlemen with my education. You'll never feel left behind. Always apply yourself because this class is easy for most and you get a bonus in the end which is landing with internship or employment. I would encourage anyone who aspires to be a Central Processing Tech to take this course(specifically this one) and gain knowledge, have fun while learning. My entire time in class I have learned a lot and had fun while learning. Mikael and Terry definitely know what they are doing. They thoroughly taught the class and I was pleased. After you are done you can always reach out. They leave no one behind and genuinely want you to become certified. They will stick with you and will be with you every step of the way. I have looked into furthering my medical career in various ways and for a while. But With my age and every day life obstacles, I always ended up putting my career goals on the back burner. While at work, a flyer for ATS came across my desk and I decided to take the class. It was one of the best decisions I have made. I learned a lot, met some really great people and I 10/10 recommend taking this 16 week class for anyone who is looking to further their career but doesn’t want to fully commit to a 2-4 year program. I am excited to start sterile processing and hopeful for my future career goals. Got there on time for my appointment but for the first time in my life, I encounters a line that lasted more than 30 seconds to check in. I waited more than 20 minutes, and when I talked to the receptionist I was told, "They will be able to see you, but there will be a bit of a wait since you were late for your appointment." I laughed at the absurdity. "You have an actual LINE for patient registration." "But for 20 minutes..?" "You didn't see us standing out there? Should I have phoned you from the hallway to let you know I was going to be a few minutes late?" But nevermind, didn't ruin my experience. Did have to wait a bit, but the technician doing my procedure was good natured and competent. Overall amusing experience.En Siege

It is difficult to rate this hospital any higher as some staff are very rude and ignorant. Night nurse Jess was rude AF when she was treating me and otherwise non-existent. Nursing assistant Frank, though nice, was not helpful at all. The food service staff were mean, short tempered and not helpful. I will avoid Penn although after this awful experience.Jerry McCormac

Staff were friendly and helpful. There were private rooms in Cath Lab, visitors were able to wait while patients left for procedure..with COVID right now, it was very appreciated. Ate lunch in cafeteria, roasted asparagus and veggie pesto stromboli was delicious. Coffee selection and taste was very good.Crystal Smith

Paula Onimus was an OUTSTANDING Advisor. She was on of the big reasons I decided to Peruse this University which I had set up multiple other interviews, and ended up canceling them right away after my first meeting with Paula. She was very personable, relates to you on many levels. She always kept me on track in making sure all my steps/process was on time and done right. She was always right there when ever you needed something or had a question, within minutes, not days. If I could rate her 10 stars I would! She Definitely went above and beyond to ensure I would be alright. She knows her job and is very informative about all topics. Her professionalism and positivity she brings to every conversation makes this whole process so much easier to get through, she made me really excited to start school back up after taking a few years off. After a rocky start to my education at another school, I was afraid to take out more loans to fund what seemed like a necessary expense for a degree to progress my career. DeVry allowed me the freedom to work and pay out of pocket for school by managing to keep all of my classes online. I could do bits and pieces of weekly assignments instead of sprinting to lectures and stressing. My academic advisor, Allison, was very sweet and helpful throughout my journey to graduation.
