20 Best Surgical Tech Programs In Boston, MA (2022 Updated)

I took the CNA ‘Plus’ programme there back in October 2021. For $2395 we never got a clinical! And the facilities and equipment provided were unbelievable! One mannequin with its leg falling out and not even a proper night gown to keep it from being exposed! Sheets were dirty! Equipment faulty, and now we are STILL waiting to take our state licensure exams! If you’re taking the CNA programme, do not take the “plus part” it is a waste of money and time. State Street U is amazing. I attended 22 years ago and stopped by for the first time since then and I was amazed to find, updated buildings, a beautiful store, and a whole new feel. The professors and professionals were mostly great when I was there and though I don't attend, I had a chance to talk to administrators and they are still amazing. It is a fantastic education at a great price. If you are looking for a great community college, look no further than STCC. Roxbury Community College is a top community college in Boston with accessible instructors who are devoted to their students learning and mastery of the subjects. It is more important to learn the foundations than be pressured and focusing on competition for grades at some notable colleges in the area. I am also interested in furthering my writing career for children and young adults by the Children's Literature course. And courses on Images of African Americans in the media. I am applying to an MFA program in creative writing at Spaulding University and need letters of recommendation. I hope to get a tv show on Nickelodeon. This will help. I might take Linux computer programming or Java II. I plan to enroll in Biology I Biology II at BHCC. There is an Energy class. If I have time I will take this on Saturday mornings. I also plan to take Organic Chemistry and apply to medical school using computerized anatomy coursework. I am considering taking Arabic language classes here. I am also going to read the book on legal document preparation. I do not have time to take everything, so I can read the book and keep improving being self taught is important. Absolutely not. I know rocks that can gain more intelligence in a lifetime compared to the amount of anything you'll gain here. They don't even offer flexible tutoring hours for students employed by the school. What? are you kidding? Say its a conflict of interest. A conflict of who's interest? Cause its truly conflicting the interest to learn when you cant make a buck and get help with academics at the same time. Highly unprofessional staff, hand to God I thought they were common transients you pass by in hallways and streets. Also the graduation rate there is half past depressing and that alone is a reflection of the interests the professors have in teaching a community anything college related. Also is a reflection of the effortless clowns that frequent the facility still nostalgic about their high school days. Do NOT waste your time especially if you have SENSE and SCENTS. I'm 100% positive that those who gave this 5 stars and commented that they graduated have all ended up in a career working with MBTA. Oh yeah, and I'm not from Boston. Please be aware of this college. Worst college in USA. Took money out from Income Tax return without even attending any class. Please be very aware before you visit this college or sign any papers.My wife went there to check about the courses they provide and see the college. She never went to that college again and never did any class. After couple of months we received a bill that we owe money. Called the college and the front desk said that you have to talk with the billing department. They told us that you have to come to the college and sign the paper. My wife told that her foot is broken and she have 4 kids so that is why she cannot come. She Also told them that she will send doctor and hospital note that she cannot drive.They hung up the phone on her. She sent so many email and calls but no reply. Spoke with billing department that I really need that money for my kids. They guy I spoke said that i can not return the money. Went here during 2013-2014 for my associates in marketing, its an alright college. Tho my only bad points I remember from this is the intern job finder guy was really rude and I had other people who told me they had him too and he was rude to them as well. another bad point was one of the class counselors who made me take an unnecessary course and told me if i didn't take it i wouldn't get my degree only to find out that they lied and i didn't need to take that course (no refunds of course). Last bad point I remember was one of the job counselors who said they would help me find a job pretty much ghosted me after our first meeting. They gave such a wonderful speech about how I was going to get a lot of help finding a job and that i wouldn't be disappointed. well disappointment city here i came first class. total ghosted and never heard from after the second week of trying to talk to them. gave up trying to finding a job threw here. otherwise its an alright place but seriously have enough parking places that people taking classes here and no teacher saved parking spots for teachers who arent even there and we can see are sitting empty for most if not the entire day. Edit to respond to the owner: Sorry but I will not be using your "job finding services". After the first guy Matt Coulter if i remember his name right, was really rude and pretty much did absolutely NOTHING to help me when I had a problem with my internship. Then the job helper person I got to help me find a full time job litterly GHOSTED me, IE: never returning any phone calls, emails and was never there even tho I told they were there on the days they would be in, on 3 separate occasions I wasted my time trying to meet someone who just happened to "not" be there. This place was the worst college to go to. The counselors don't really help you. They just sign you up for any course they can just so they can quickly boot you out the door not caring to help you find classes for your major or even find a major at all. For the Danvers campus in particular, it's a very snobby, predominately white(and prejudice), unfriendly atmosphere. A lot of them also flow over to the Lynn campus so they bring their snobby attitudes there. The students are worse than the instructors though the instructors can be pretty stuck up themselves. That's just the type of community Danvers is. You will find most of the people who have the edge at this school AND of course speak highly of it are the predominantly white population. I took a Bio 101 class once, and the instructor said in front of the class that blacks usually don't do well because they come from a poor background and lack proper education. It really is not a good place to get your education. Also, a lot of classes they have wont transfer to another college such as their Bio 101 course. You may not know that, but be sure the classes you take are transferable. Be sure to follow up on Rate My Professors website to know if you have a good instructor or not otherwise it's a hit or miss on having a great successful academic year or not. The staff can be very unfriendly on the phone or in person when you go to any of their offices. When you attend this school, you better have direction on what you want to do because No one there is really going to help you unless you have a really good instructor. I transferred out to a better community college and it was one of the best choices I've ever made.Maximum Achievement

I have done four semesters at NSCC in the Criminal Justice program over the past two years. North Shore was a decent place for me to start my college education, as I feel like going to a full-fedged State University for four years is a massive scam and waste of money. Professor Koshivas and D'Agastino were great and I learned a great deal in their classes. The Danvers campus is very clean and modern and much nicer than the Lynn campus, which gave me the feeling of being in a dirty train tunnel. My issues with the school pertain to its administration. I had multiple issues when enrolling for classes during each semester. It seemed like no matter what some piece of paperwork would be lost. Once they even lost proof of one of my scholarships, luckily I had copies. When it came time to cut the check for the semester there would always be an issue with the amount. Sometimes we overpaid, sometimes we underpaid, it was as though they never got the final amount right on the first try. It was frusturating to deal with. Another issue I had was with the WiFi in the school. I would be in the library during the period between classes on my laptop trying to get work done, only to find the connection suddenly stopped and I could no longer connect to the internet. Some days were worse than others with this, it was very unpredictable as to when it would work and when it would not. I won't end up graduating from North Shore as of right now as I'm going the military route instead. However, there are some very good professors at this school, just be prepared to deal with a mediocre administrative department if you decide that North Shore is for you.Millard Fillmore

Most of the bad reviews are coming from people who had ONE bad experience at like the book store or whatever or i gEt tHiEr aDs oN hUlu, though the veteran who shared his story probably has a decent case to make. Anyway I got a business degree from this college and if you actually try you can do really really well here, with great professors and programs like the honors program which gives high level learning at bottom dollar, and wonderful faculty like the folks at PTK, disability services, or the Fuller Center. Don't get me wrong, there's a lot to work on regarding graduation rates, the food, no one card system, etc but I couldn't give this place anything less than 5 stars because of all of the wonderful people who give 110% here, especially in those departments I mentioned. If you live in Worcester don't spend 30k a year to go to Assumption, you'll save so much money to come here. Seek opportunity, study for your tests, respect your professors and faculty, and most importantly, do your damn homework; I guarantee you'll be a success at this place if you do all of these things.Clark Kent

The qcc "police" are some of the most unqualified and unempathetic people in the area. There is no doubt they have no training, no expertise in law and zero idea of what they are doing. Maybe they should take some courses while they work their jobs at qcc in criminal justice. Maybe they can get a handle on their jobs. Harvard is one of the most prestigious universities in the World and every one wishes to visit it once in a life time. I had this chance to go there and walk around this beautiful institute. The good thing is that it is open for all and everyone could go around and visit. I saw many tourists there enjoying walking and taking photos. The good thing which I liked was that seeing people doing Yoga in the open space and in nature. I liked that and participated with them in yoga. It was nice walking around Harvard university . I would recommend either taking a guided tour or to download and follow the self guided tour so you understand the history behind the university. I loved the library and the story behind it. Unfortunately wasn’t able to go inside but would have loved to. I have to be honest about this. Good college when it comes to campus design, some Professor's teaching skills, and assistance for school related issues. Although, the school teaches bad ethics. For example, sports lack discipline. They will teach there athletes to run score boards up. Up by 20 in a basketball game with 3mins to go, they will shoot more three point shots than Steve Kerr. The most alarming thing is faculty will participate in Hazing students. I've watch this with my own two eyes. Call them out on it, and they will just deny it, at least my professor did. I am currently a student there, who help form a club, in order to help students get there basic needs to become a successful student. So just remember, good campus design, some Professors have good teaching styles, good for resources, but terrible place to learn good ethics. To me learning good ethics and applying them is one of the most important, or the most important thing to learn as a student. Would not be the first school I would want to send my child to. I do recommend this college as an affordable and easy starting point but be ready to encounter many hurdles in your way and a lot of incompetent staff. Make sure to double check everything you do here, especially the financial aid part. School seemed great when I toured it, but from day 1 that changed. I didn't recieve any of the assistance or help I was told I'd be able to get/be provided with. The dorms had many issues, such as my room along some of my friends rooms lacked door knobs and even locks. In the winter the heat didn't work at all, and for days at a time there would be no hot water through out the building(s). It normally took a day or longer for any form of maintenance/repairs to be done. Was given very little info about/prior to activities and or things going on at the school. The computers throughout the dorms almost never worked so if you don't/didn't have your own computer you couldn't do basically any of the work you'd need to do (for most all work at the school has to be done on the computer or online) and even if you did have your own computer or the ones in the dorms worked the internet barley ever worked, so no matter what getting work done was very difficult. Also, the attendance policy is very strict and no matter what the situation, whether it be a family emergency or just no going to class because you don't want to, if you miss 3 or more straight classes you get kicked out of the school and with little to no prior warning about being kicked out. Overall, I had many issues and problems (some of which are stated, but not all) with this school, which made for a pretty bad college experience. To finish, this school sucks, and is a complete waste of time and money from the moment you start. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY AND TIME WITH THIS SCHOOL.Adam Hope

I started looking at Bay State College because of the great things I had read and seen online. I requested information and received that promptly. I applied and got accepted. That process was very smooth. I was at a community college before and had some credits that would transfer. Bay State staff helped me with the process and made sure the credits that could transfer would transfer. Fast forward two years. I received my Associate's in Criminal Justice and I am in the Bachelor's program scheduled to be done this year. I have built amazing relationships with professors and staff. They have become more like a family. If I ever have an issue I reach out and someone will always have an answer for me. When they do not, believe me. They find it. There are so many opportunities they have to offer you just have to ask. I am sad my time is coming to an end with Bay State. Signing up was easy, I was provided help at every step in order to insure my success when I completed my diploma, I felt confident enough to move forward with a degree. Once I completed my diploma and as I have been working on my degree I have had the best career advisor. I attended Brookline College online in the Medical Office Administration program. From the beginning at admission, to the instructors and career services it has been a great experience. If you don't want to leave High School then Lasell is the right place for you. Lasell is just another High School, there are tons of cliques and they are all judgmental and rude, some racist. If you are thinking about going here please read this review and consider it. There will be a Facebook group made for your graduating class. This page is supposed to help you find others going to the college and helps you make friends. However, for me and my very few friends I met there agree that the Facebook group is the worst thing to have ever been created. I went to orientation nervous as hell but in the back of my mind I thought that everyone was nervous because no one knows each other. And then I got to orientation and everyone already had their friends and I was alone. That was the worst weekend of my life. No one talked to me and every time I tried to talk to others, they would look at each other and walk away as if I had a disease. After that weekend I learned about the Facebook group… Then September came and I tried to be open-minded but that didn't last too long. The house I was in was basically a Sorority and I don't remember pledging. There were so many problems just because they would listen to my roommates and I through our closet. We know this because there are things they couldn't possibly know without listening to us. The kids there are also racist. A friend of mine had keys thrown at her while being called "Porcelain doll" by her RA. As for my RA, my roommate had severe alcohol poisoning and knocked on our RA's door for help, but instead our RA turned her music up and didn't answer. A couple weeks later we heard that our RA was talking highly of never answering her door. The school also does not take mental illness seriously. I had gone to multiply professors and explained to them about my depression and anxiety and all they had to say was, "I feel bad" and then they would brush it off. The academics suck as well. Unless you're a fashion or athletic training major then all other majors are not taken seriously. You won't actually get to your major until maybe Junior year. They lie at orientation saying you jump right into your major, because you don't. This school wasted my time and my money. I never thought I could get any worse then I have after being there. My depression had gotten worse and my self-esteem plummeted. They told me to visit the counseling house but why would do that since I hated the school? I would be careful making your decision on going to this school and make sure to look at everything.Avalon

I can't wait to tell people about my experience here at Lasell College once I graduate! It has been an honor to meet everyone here on campus and get to know them on personal levels. I truly feel ready for the working world because of the classes I've taken and the professors help. The dorms that I have lived in for the past four years have been fantastic! They really made me feel safe and at home here on campus. I played a sport here on campus too and that even made my experience here even more enjoyable. Traveling around the MA area is also great. We are in-between two T-stations which is a quick and easy train ride into Boston which allows for a lot of fun activities. Depending on a student's individual needs, Lasell has thus far, far exceeded every expectation and concern, including non-traditional issues. Continually (almost by the week) tweaking, exploring, and honing the fine skill of higher education with today's ever changing criteria in mind. For those who want to learn, study here. The best college ever! The best opportunity in your life! Berkeley College is a small college but very professional one. You can find everything you want there, an excellent stuff who works hard and is always waiting for you, a sophisticated technology, using up different sources to make you succeed, a big stuff helping out students to finds jobs and internships, They will do everything to motivate you and prepare you for your future success. That's the way I see this college. It may be a little bit expansive but when it's about our future we have to invest first. Everything in this college is great. Let me start sharing me experience with you: I come from a small country from Europe, where we have a completely different system than here that seems to be a completely stress-free. My English level was not so good, and I still find it difficulty sometimes, but it was not a obstetrical for me at all, because all the professors helped me. And I am definitely glad for all the professors that I had, for 19 of them (5 quarters until now), they are all gorgeous. They never stop telling their student to use them as much as possible. They are respectful, patient, helpful, easy to understand, and they will try everything and every method for the student to succeed, after that is up to the students. If you do what the professors tell you to do you'll be fine, and that's what I and all my friends do. And we enjoy time in the class, we work in group, we discuss and bring new topics in class related with the lectures. And what is the beauty of Berkeley College is the diversity that it has. I consider myself lucky to have peers form different part of the world, because in an easy way help me to learn more about what's going around and try to understand other cultures too, thing that is very important if you live in a city as New York. I agree with a review here that in short terms tells that Berkeley College is a easy college to enter in because it accept everyone. That's true! But that's what make this college a successful college, because it gives everyone an opportunity. Men lie, women lie, numbers don't; Berkeley College is one of the worst college in America. According to National Center for Education Statistics, the retention rate is 64 percent and the graduation rate is 30 percent. When people see these type of statistics, many people like to blame the students however in Berkeley College’s case, it’s not the students fault, it’s the school’s fault. One of the problems with Berkeley College is the financial aid. When you first come to Berkeley College, they promise you that you will graduate in 3 years however when you have to deal with the Financial aid it’s nearly impossible. Berkeley College operates on a Quarter System. And because Berkeley College operates on a Quarter system, the government can’t fund every quarter like Summer Quarter. This is a problem because students are force to pay large amount of money out of pocket. And if you can’t afford it, you have no choose but to drop the quarter and this will push back you graduation date. Berkeley College is so expensive and such a waste of money. If you’re coming from high school or another college, don't waste your money and your time. This school is not worth the tuition money you have to pay every year. You pay 30,000 plus (about $7,800 each Quarter) in tuition and with the new book policy, you will be forced to pay $300 out-of-pocket for books you will never use each Quarter. Word of advice, if you are looking for a college look somewhere else. If not be prepared to work at McDonald with a Bachelor or Associate degree.Andrew Owens

I had the worse college applying experience. This is for the Paramus NJ Campus. I was a prospective student. Unfortunately, I’m on temporary disability for now so I figured “why not go back to school to pursue my dreams?!”. Well, Berkeley admissions gave me a HORRIBLE experience. They stopped following up with me unlike other universities I applied to. No one knew what was going on in my admissions process. I gave this college money that THEY knew I didn’t have because of my disability because I wanted to attend. All of that for these fools to tell me they’re only accepting a portion of the credits I took for my associates degree. I am going to attend a prestigious university that knows what they’re doing and how to handle their prospective students. Putting effort into this college was WORTHLESS!!! Now a month later after my horrible experience the director of admissions Janine contacts me to stand up for her poor excuse of a staffs behavior. She called to say “sorry”. What kind of BS is that?! The nursing staff in Plymouth BID Hospital in the ER DEPT is is despicable. They are the most unprofessional and uncaring nurses I’ve ever come across. Then I had to be transferred to BID hospital in Boston and it has been no better. Sitting here with vomit and unclean Johnnys for hours on end. Trying to get a .nurse to come to my room waiting up to an hour and 45 minutes for someone to come to my room. My IV came out of my arm and it took 45 minutes for a nurse to come and help me. Thank god I was able to stop the bleeding myself from IV. What if I was an Elderly person and didn’t know to apply pressure to my arm so that my vein would stop bleeding. These are just a few examples of why this hospital starting staff should be overhauled and retrained. If you don’t want to be a nurse then don’t take on the position I realize it’s a lot of work and it’s demanding and it’s hard with the overwhelming amount of people with Covid and that are sick but if you can’t treat your patient with respect and dignity and care and compassion then you don’t belong in this field. It’s an absolute shame that I’ve had this experience today is September 24 I’ve been here for several days I have run across a few good nurses yes but the overwhelming amount of disrespect in and care for the patient in this hospital is not acceptable.Kim White

I recommend that you do not go here if you are seeking gender affirmation surgery. My friend received bottom surgery at Beth Israel last year, and she received top notch care! However, this year the surgery department has become overwhelmed. They had an incompetent secretary (who has since left) who didn’t even correctly schedule me for my consultation. Surgeon showed me a portfolio that was not his work. I had 2 scheduled surgeries this summer that were canceled because the office could not get through to my insurance. When I requested to pay out-of-pocket for the costs that were not covered, I received no response. I then requested that they rescind my authorization so I can seek surgery somewhere else (at this point, 8 months of my time had been wasted). A month after I told Beth Israel that I was done, I received a notification that I was scheduled for a surgery. I reached out and the office let me know that they scheduled me so that I can still be considered for surgery. I let them know I was uninterested. Most devastating experience of my life, put me much farther behind when I had already been trying to get top surgery for YEARS. Good surgeons here, but if you have Medicaid, you will likely never see them. Wish I could get back the time that was wasted.Erin Lynn

I had a biopsy and the pain made me extremely ill. I could not get up and or walk afterward I was dizzy. I told the gynecologist that preformed the the biopsy and she dismissed me and asked me to leave. I made it to the reception area flailing and yet again was met with what I can only describe as cruelty from the receptionist. I would tell anyone that knows someone looking at going here, to seriously consider going elsewhere. There are so many other colleges or universities that they could attend. There are numerous issues my wife has run into with this place. My wife graduated from this place about twelve years ago and went back to get her nursing degree. It was a great college to attend back then, very accommodating, high standards, and the personnel very helpful. However, it has changed a great deal. The front office personnel are rude and not that helpful. My wife had to go three different occasions to give them her transcripts (high school and college). They kept asking for them even though these should have been on file since she graduated from there. I can't remember the person she talked to but she was very rude and didn't want to be bothered. My wife just talked to her advisor and they changed the standards and prerequisites to enter the nursing program. They changed these just two weeks ago in the middle of a semester. You think that would be changed for the following semester not during one. My wife is supposed to be grandfathered into the program since she did her entent to enroll prior to these changes. Now they are changing rules, standards, and prerequisites on her mid-semester. She has to get a full grade higher than she did prior or risk having to do it again or dropped. Not sure that is even legal. Also, they are trying to make her take courses and the accuplacer test, which she has already taken. This is very costly to do again. Not just the money but with time as well. I have heard them doing this to others, must be a good money maker. There are other issues as well but I don't have time to name them all. If you are considering going here or know someone who is, please be careful and beware is all we can say. They can change what they want whenever they like at your expense.Michael Broton

I've been coming to the dental school as a patient for several years. I started because after studying in England for several years the dentists they're had done a significant amount of damage to my teeth which meant a lot of restoration work back in the U.S. it started with a root canal that had to be redone that was done on England and got infected. My insurance was all used up for the year with one root canal and crown. Then they told me that another root canal was getting infected and this one also needed surgery, but my dental insurance was used up for the year and it would be months before the end of the year. But it was starting to hurt so this couldn't wait for months. Since I wouldn't be able to afford it without insurance, someone told me that it is much cheaper as a patient at the dental school at Tufts. I arranged for an appointment and became a patient and have been one for years. Due to it being a dental school, the appointments take a lot longer and are booked for 3 hour time slots (most times it may take less than that, sometimes though, it may need a little longer). Everything is double checked by a professor every step the way so no mistakes are ever made. Also being students they tend to be very cautious not to hurt you, whereas experienced dentists don't really care about your discomfort and just want to get the job finished. With a good dentist that can be a good thing as they will finish berry fast and not hurt you at all, but some dentists are not very good. This had never been an issue here. Every couple of years the student that I was assigned to graduates do a new student has to be assigned. The appointments might take longer, but the price even if they don't take your insurance can't be beat. If they do take your insurance, I would definitely use them. Dr.George was the best instructor ive ever had LET ME TELL YOU! i have never enjoyed school and never made above a B plus but after taking my first module with him i past all my first 3 classes with a perfect score of 100. His teaching style is amazing, he makes you feel like youre not alone, and he loves when u ask questions so if you're like me and hate asking questions he makes it so much easier its awesome. My career service advisor was great! Ms. Alexandria Vela helped me tremendously on my job search. She was one of the people from the campus who have always been very helpful. She has always been very attentive with me and always checked in, during and after my externship, and now that I'm hired she has continued to check in. May I express, I was worried about joining this institution, I hadn’t been in school for a while but when I first visited everybody made me feel so welcome with a constant smile on their face, I felt encouraged and wanting to be in class. Update: I have been working for 8 months as a dental assistant and they prepared me so much for it. I feel like they really taught us what to do for the actual day to day office environment and they really helped me. Of course the beginning when you start you still have to learn other things but I feel like I was so prepared because of my teachers I highly recommend this program for anyone looking to become a dental assistant! I had initially put up a negative review because of a situation that turns out to be my misunderstanding, completely my fault for not waiting to speak in person because email sometimes there can be some miscommunication and that's completely my bad! Once I went in and spoke to them I realized I was completely wrong and I apologize profusely! So embarrassing that was all me. Clarissa and Onneita are like my little guardian angels! Idalia and Angelica as well! They have been amazing I could not be more happy and so grateful that I've had these people in my life building me up and helping me get to where I need to be. They work so hard on every single students behalf I don't know how they do it! Another part of the program I absolutely loved besides the staff is that it's all inclusive so basically you don't have to worry about coming out of pocket seperately for textbooks, for tests, uniforms, anything like and it helps take stress off of the process. Going to Lincoln Tech Somerville was the best decision. Just like many of you, Covid put me out of job and I needed to create a new game plan. The whole admission, Education and faculty are the best group of people I have ever met. I am a student currently wrapping up my dual certification program. From registration to scheduling the experience has been amazing. Everything that I learned online and on campus I have been able to put to to use in the field. All the instructors are the best. The medical industry is growing and they want smart, quick and talented individuals to join there team. Listen, Apply and discipline yourself, these folks will help you in everyway to finish your selected program, Graduate and find a job. You will challenged and pushed everyday. I went in for a colonoscopy with Dr. Cheney several weeks ago and it was an amazingly good experience from start to finish. For such a big operation they all seemed to be pretty organized and when I finally was with the doctor before the actual procedure everyone explained exactly what they were doing. Afterwards they let me know when to call if there were certain sxs and reminded me of that by inquiring how I was doing the following day. I can’t recommend this facility more highly. I was very nervous about my (routine) procedure, but absolutely everyone was kind, cheerful, and informed. The nurses were amazing, the anesthesiologist took time to go through my record and answer my concerns, and the doctor was both warm and consummately professional. I had a great experience — and I never thought I’d say that about a colonoscopy! (I’m not talking about the prep, of course, although the B-l nurses answered my questions and addressed my concerns helpfully.) At the center, every staff person I encountered was caring, thoughtful, attentive and professional. It couldn’t have been better. I would not recommend this school. There wasn’t any heat in our classrooms the entire winter. Students had to bring their own heaters and we only could plug up 2 with out blowing out the circuit. (They also have a heating and cooling program ) There still isn’t any soap in the cafeteria. Some one put water in an old soap dispenser, and over 100 students share that. The ST (Surgical technician) instructor is rude and unprofessional. I have documents, videos and dates of her yelling at me, cursing, threatening me and no one did anything to her. Actually, when I tried to report her, it actually got worse. I’m not the only one from this school…. or other schools who said the same exact thing. The man from financial aide will call, email and text you several times a day when you have to make a payment. The reviews are fake/ from employees themselves. Take your time and actually research the program before you apply to this overpriced school.Artie Alexis

Abcott Institute is a great place to help you with a career in the medical field. Abcott also have other areas to advance your career. The instructors are Helpful and encouraging. The Surgical Tech. Program with Mrs.Miller is great, she a firm and knowledgeable instructor. Working in the medical field especially the OR is no game, you are dealing with people lives!! The course is tough, at one point I wasn't so sure if I could finish. I talk to my instructor, made sure I studied more and did what I had to do to improve myself. Mrs.Miller firm but she care for her students and supports them wholeheartedly, you just have to do your part as well. This is not something everyone could do you have to be dedicated!!!Michiko Unu

Just focus and get what you need to get out of there. It’s a lot of foolery going in this school program not accredited and make sure when you pay for you certification test and pass get your money back because they will not mention it if you don’t and it’s included in your tuition. Hands-down the best experience I've ever had at any kind of doctor's office. I would've paid twice what the total cost ended up being as far as the quality of work Dr. Doherty did goes (it was absolutely phenomenal). It's now eight and a half months afterwards and it looks amazing, not to mention that it's essentially impossible to tell any surgery was ever performed. On top of that the entire staff (Brenda, Emily, and Emma) is made up of the kindest people you'd ever wanna meet. 10 out of 5 stars and maybe the best money I've ever spent since both my once-missing confidence and peace of mind are back in full force.Ciru Zullo
