i came in for one reason to get job after graduation been going on two yrs feels like high school classes. Im a criminal Justice major and i like program except one huge thing it needs more hands traning so you prepared for the job once you graduate and not have move on for four degree and they need to have dorminties to live on i hardly see people on campus it almost empety they have two many campuses they need to have one and the paint falling off the school. I hoping i graduate and get job in but i feel unprepared to due the classes they made to if i knew this i would have gone out of state because these tech schools are scam been at midlands tech for my associates in arts degree if i was going for a different major i would be more thrild they have good health science program that gets job as soon as graduate due to the clinicals and broad certification test. some classes have been cancled to there harldy many students in eithermichael mcdaniel

The advisors are literally the worst I have seen. They are basically unaware of how to advise, impossible to reach, don't follow through, and give no recommendations on pre requisite classes. Now the health science department is even worse. The instructors pride themselves on a high failure percentage. They deviate from school policy and ALL Bio 210 and 211 professors are arrogant and unwilling to support your child. Stay away from the arrogant professors, AND they don't care about your future.AB Gentry

this technical college is the best technical college in south carolina, there was a problem with the workers at the edgefield campus, they lost my transcripts, and they tried to cancel my advisement appointment so they could meet their boyfriend in the parking lot, the students at the edgefield campus were rude, and trashy, they are not going to stop me from going there, the classes that you have to take are wonderful, the instructional methods are excellentJessica Taylor

Don't make the same mistake I did , I took the auto collision at Okefenokee Tech in Waycross,Ga and from the first day I had nothing but trouble and one problem after another . first with registering for class I registered before the dead line and when I showed up foor class I wasn't processed I had to re register then they had the nerve to charge me sixty five dollars in late fee's. And now for the class or wanna be a class which is a joke because the teacher didn't know 90-98% of what he was suppose to teach us I'd ask questions on how to use tools or how to repair and the only answer I got out of him 99% of the time was I don't know so please DON'T come to this school save your money and/or go to another tech school..Jarrett Kirchman

Very happy with the LPN program here. I went to the Golden Isles campus. But took a few prerequisite and online classes here as well. Small class room sizes, teachers actually care if you show up and want you to succeed. I attended a previous school and in comparison this LPN program really breaks down concepts and you get so much clinical time, it’s nice to connect and see physically what you read about in the book & get hands on. Also Mrs. Teresa Henry.. best instructor. She pushes you yet encourages and believes in you. I could rave all day, money well spent at this school!kathryn postin

The staff has generally been helpful, but it's been impossible to speak with my advisor for the program I want to study. I've been trying to contact her for over a month now to no luck. Online and phone appointments both have not worked, I don't know if it's the system or her not showing up. I was told by email that I could come on campus any time during school hours to speak with her, and when I went she was not there. She told me she would call me twice now at specific times we planned and she never did. I don't know why it's been so difficult, but regardless I'll be going to school elsewhere. I've never had this much trouble contacting my advisor with a school before. Usually they want to speak with you and get you the help you need.Eden Kutch

I called wiregrass cosmotlogy department for a hair appt; the instructor, Karen Hutchson gave me an appointment the same day. My experience with the student Dacey Palma was Great; she washed my hair, blow dryed, and flat iron. The lab assistant Lesha Lee educated me on why it is important to get hair trimmed every 4-6 weeks; she took a picture of the back of my head, so I could see why I needed my ends trimmed; they were in really bad shape. Oh! The cost was affordable. Wiregrass cosmotlogy department is doing an excellent job in training their students. Thank you!Brenda Johnson

I entered Clayton State as a Freshman in 2014, graduated with my Bachelors Degree in Psychology and Human Services in 2019. I am now completing my Masters Degree in Clinical/Counseling Psychology. I have had more positive experiences here than negative ones. The negative experiences I had were minute. Because my negative experiences were minute, I will list those first. CONS: – I had an issue with a professor in my undergrad about an assignment I completed that I received a 0 for, and when I attempted to make a meeting with the Dean of Psychology, she canceled the meeting and my issue was never resolved. I received a C in the course, which hurt my GPA. (I am not upset at the professor, since the issue was I didn’t follow 1 instruction she gave, my issue was with the Dean canceling the appt.) – The University Health Services employees are burnt out. They are understaffed, and due to that, they are not that friendly and can take a while to get stuff turned in on time. (However, i stayed on top of it consistently and I was able to get the issue taken care of before the deadline) – Other employees at the school are not friendly, but that could be due to issues completely unrelated to the school itself. – Food in the cafeteria is not great. Now on to the great experiences! PROS: – The professors in my department are WONDERFUL. I cannot stress how awesome the professors are here. I have gone through a lot in the past few years, and one professor specifically (Dr. Mark Daddona), really helped me through it. As a single mom it was hard, but they have always been very understanding and flexible with me. If they had a Doctorate program, I would take them for that too! – The students are great. Yes, you have some that are not really here for learning, but the ones that are here to learn are great. – The janitorial staff is amazing. They have always been kind to me, and they do their job very well! The school has always been kept clean, especially the bathrooms. – Everyone is pretty responsive. I cannot seem to remember there being a time where I went days without a response from someone in any of the departments or buildings. If I can remember anything else, I will add it in the future. The professors really care about what they’re doing, and it shows. The classes may not be easy and the rules may be strict, but since this is a college, that should be expected. Bottom line, I have had nothing but great experiences. If someone were to ask me for a recommendation, I would let them know to consider Clayton State University!Cassia Encinias

Clayton State has a great environment for a young adult to be properly trained for the battles of the adult world. The professors do a great job of making sure that the students have the proper knowledge to succeed. The limited class size allows the teacher to dedicate more time to the students who need extra assistance to ensure no student is left behind academically. This style of teaching helps to minimize the anxiety that comes along with being afraid to ask for help. The professor are firm on deadlines, so this develops the skills to be hard working, plan oriented, dedicated, and accountable. The students are kind and belong to one another. So I literally haven’t even started my for spring semester & I am DREADING going here. Almost everyone but TWO people have been extremely rude to me over the phone and I’ve gotten hung up on multiple times. I wish I would have read the reviews of this school before applying. I will be actively looking for a new school to be apart of this semester. I’m hoping my professors make up for the horrible office staff. I will happily take my money elsewhere where they appreciate students. Very disappointed.. A great college experience. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants a more one on one experience. The classes are a lot smaller, so it's easier to get help if you need it. The instructors are always willing to work with you, and there are no student loans. Also, all the people complaining about the offices "not doing their jobs" are the ones who, most likely, are used to being handed everything. You are responsible for your paperwork. As a 4th year student who will be graduating in Spring 2018, I will be terribly sad to be forced to leave such a terrific school. UGA has provided me with all the opportunities I could ever want. I was looking for a college that would have all the resources I would need in order to go to Optometry School and UGA has exceeded my expectations. The classes here have truly prepared me well for the next 4 years of my life. I am grateful to have gone to such an amazing school. If you’re looking to go into the healthcare field and want to be best prepared for graduate school, UGA is the right way to go. Also, the campus is large and beautiful! After UGA, I will be attending the University of Alabama at Birmingham College of Optometry. So luckily, I won’t be too far from UGA. Bruh, the whole school trash…literally. The instructors ain’t instructing. Do not take online classes, the teachers NEVER respond! They didn’t post assignments until 2 weeks after class started and I was literally begging each one to respond to my messages to see what was going on.. THEY NEVER RESPONDED! Then they posted the missed assignments last (with no communication to the students) and expected it to be done in 2 days. I was sick with Covid and emailed every one of them to make-up work, no response initially (which caused me to fall behind), and then when I kept emailing, everyone lied and said they re-opened the missed assignments but did not! It took over 3 months to be admitted to the school. I kept calling and getting switched from department to department , no call backs and no emails- I should’ve knew then. I’m looking for another school to switch to next semester that will let me take my Accounting major online- I REFUSE to give this school FREE money! They need to be reported and sued. Maybe even closed down. THIS ISN’T A REAL SCHOOL! MARK MY WORDS! Lets all work together and get this school shut down permanently! A Mississippian now trying to get back in school after seven years,found Atlanta technical college.I had the hardest most difficult time reaching a advisor for the Paralegal course. I called numerous times and left a voicemail. I also called the dean and no answer. I sent an email to my advisor and received no reply. I finally got a call from my advisor like one day before the summer course start . I was so upset I wanted to attend this summer 2022. The advisor advised me not to start because class starts the next day and I would be rushing and scrambling to buy books and schedule classes. I applied and send all required docs in July ai go to the school 1x a week just to be told they have a new system and my application will be updated in 48-72 hours.. I appreciate Rasmussen University for having an abundance of resources and many professors and other staff members who demonstrate they want students to succeed. I especially have enjoyed being a peer educator, being privileged to work with Tammy Hopps who is an excellent supervisor and leader, and also being able to work with other peer educators who care for their peers as much as I do. I transferred from a local state college, which I considered sticking with to save money, but in reality, not much is saved when you compare the timeframe for graduation. At the state college it would take me an extra 2 whole years to receive my BSN, whereas at Rasmussen I save 2 years of time because of their second-degree BSN option. I am very pleased with the quality of technology – at the state school blackboard and other resources were slow and did not work as well on my cell phone, whereas with Rasmussen I can easily access everything I need from my phone when I'm on the go. It's inspiring to see so many single parents and married parents in school, some of which also work full time or part time like myself while completing their degree. I had such high hopes when enrolling at this school. However my experience hasn't been favorable at all. I am a current student and I was disappointed because even though I was able to enroll and start classes I really felt unsupported on this journey. I'm realizing Rasmussen may not be the school for me. I REALLY thought I would be supported and encouraged. I was made to feel that Rasmussen would be rooting for me through my academic journey. Instead I am bombarded with emails and calls telling me what I already know… I owe money. No calls or emails about how I can be helped to budget so that I can pay more toward the balance. I'm only being told: what I owe, to get the balance down to $500-$1000 and to take out loans; which will only put me in debt and it's too early to be taking out loans when I've been in school since September of 2021 and have 2 more years. Also this school doesn't cater to single parents, limited income and individuals that HAVE to work. This school ONLY has day classes for the nursing program and as I said before I HAVE to work full time.Sherria Clark

This morning I called the university for the North Orlando Campus for the Nursing program and spoke to the director of Nursing who was discusstingly rude on the phone. I called to get information, He had no patience and told me Not to proceed a career in Nursing because it was Not for me. I would not recommend the school to anyone. In my experience with the school the instructors do not help students who need help, the advisers will not help you if they do not like you, namely Bryant and Kirkpatrick. The doors will be locked on you because administrators don't feel they should have to hear students out even though their policies are supposed to be open door. The instructors degrade students telling them they are insignificant they're supposed to be transparent and have also been noted to tell students to get their panties out of a wad when asking for study guides or help with the study material. their policies are mainly broad and very vague, open to interpretation by the administrators and are enforced at their discretion… So if they do not like students they will discharge them when they so choose. Telling them they can appeal, but then giving the student no further help with this process. Favorites are easy to distinguish.. In my experience the students with money, who had smug attitudes and acted superior to the others were treated better than the rest. Cliques were prevalent… Instructors didn't do anything to help this though, even when allegations were made against other students, such as threats being made etc. Instructors refused to investigate these allegations or to validate them. They simply escorted the student off the campus even though the allegations turned out to be false. So in a sense.. Students who didn't like other students were allowed to prey on people because their social group was larger and they had more support All in all this school values its "professionalism" But it doesn't produce quality nurses, it produces cutthroat cookie cutter nurses who act like high school girls. Not to mention there were between 300-600 dollars of unexpected fees each semester. Policies such as their "drug card" policy which students were forced to sign and that stated students had to turn in extra credit prior to their pharm tests… However, if u didn't turn it in, or if there was a single card missing, you weren't allowed to take your test, essentially taking 100 points from your grade. This failed so many students our first semester. I will say the one redeeming quality this school had in my opinion was the empathy and care the other instructors had. Benton, McCutchens, coworker, all excellent instructors. All excellent in clinicals. They truly cared about students if you put in time and got to know them. If you went to these instructors they would show empathy even if they couldn't help you.Ben Frazier

I was a student at one time and did not care for the school. However, on the good side they had some great instructors until they resigned because of the college's administration and the quality of the students being enrolled. My issues with the school, had to do with the integrity and quality of the instructors, and the lack of discipline for devious actions committed by both the faculty and students. First, During the core classes, there were a handful a students that cheated on exams. They would simply be taking the exam on the computer and open up the internet link to answers, while the instructor would sit at the front of the class, not knowing what was going on. My GPA was honest, while they accepted students I had seen cheat on their exams into the RN program, I was not. So I switched programs. Second, when I enrolled into the second program, the instructor and I did not get along at all. I had no idea as to why. It may have been because I was the only male in her healthcare class or it may be for other deeper reasons. Nevertheless, I reported the adverse behavior of the instructor to my department head. At first, the department head seemed like she wanted to help, but the situation escalated to being out of control with the instructor yelling at me in front of all my peers. This instructor still teaches here even though, I brought it to the attention of the Department Head, President, and to the Board of Education. Prospect Students an Current students heed my warning. Education is an INVESTMENT, you get what you put into it. Unfortunately, that includes money as well. I attend Darton State College. I love it there. I take online classes and they are far more challenging and you will succeed because the professors really and truly care about your education. If you have the money try Thomas University. I know they are expensive but the relationships you build with your professors will be well worth the extra time and effort you spend on their assignments. I am not the first of my friends and family to quit attending SWGTC. Most leave quietly and do not leave the school to ponder on their absence.Felipe Serrato

Halfway through my first semester my favorite professor was fired. Not only was he/she fired but they brought in the police to escort him/her out during class with the students watching. No this was not a criminal charge. The proper way to have handled it without disrupting the student's education was to wait until the semester was over and then let them go based on the reasons for being fired. Mind you this happened right at the beginning of our biggest essay assignment that covered 25% of our grade. Left us with a sub. Yeah they weren't thinking about the students in this situation as there was not a backup plan in place prior to their decision. Meanwhile we are the ones that pay for this service whether through our pockets, a loan, scholarships/grants…we pay for this kind of mess. This was an amazing professor btw, was professional, helped each person in the class with their assignments, and actually taught the class. Very poorly handled and very unprofessional SRTC. Will not allow my children to enroll for move on when ready at this school. This situation discouraged and disgusted me in how the professor and students were handled.Kim Fromkin

I went to Rumsey this past year and had a very troubling experience. First of all, the all day program is completely busted. ANYONE can get straight A’s there because they teachers give you the answers. No joke this boy in my class at the time says “What’s the answer to number 5” right in front of the teacher and I told him the answer and the teacher noticed and commented on it but still put in the test grade as a 100%. Literally the Civics teacher is the only one who even has probably ever failed students. Even her class was super super easy. My lowest grade was a 97… I honestly just couldn’t take it anymore because it was too easy and just went half day. Even one of the tech teachers just gave us 100 and said literally no one fails his tests.. I definitely wouldn’t suggest doing all day if you actually want to learn. If you’re okay with getting a 100% and knowing nothing then do Rumsey all day! The Therapeutic Services ONE teacher however, is the best thing about the school. Just don’t go to Therapeutic Services 2 because you get useless certificate that no job takes seriously because literally everyone even if they didn’t deserve it, got it. HOWEVER, I honestly can say the kids at James Rumsey are great. At Jefferson, I had quite a few sexual harassment issues but at Rumsey, almost all the kids are polite and respectful. I never had one kid make fun of me which was refreshing! I honestly am disappointed in this school. I remember how excited I was to start Rumsey there all day and it turns out I overestimated them. They could make it into a better school by hiring and firing some of the staff. I have faith that eventually it’ll be the school it used to be. Right now it needs a lot of work.Caroline Cugini

James Rumsey Technical Institute is such a privilege to learn at. Out of all the schools I've been in, I have never felt so involved, and enjoying everyday I spend here. As a highschool student, I was able to take my senior year here, and it is worth it. The teachers are lovely, and truly care about their students. I'm in the Cisco technical class, and I can say whole hearted, that if your interested in IT, Networking, or Cyber Security. This is a fantastic school to learn it. Currently we have teacher that I'd consider a professional in the field, who isn't up right, and is a joy to learn from. I'm originally from Martinsburg highschool, and getting to escape from the students there and to the nice forgiving fun and welcoming students at James Rumsey, well it's simply a blessing. I misplaced my certificate sometime in the past 14 years and they told they don't do reprints and to contact my high school. By FAR THE WORST school ever!! This "school" does NOT care about the students! I was unable to receive my student loan because they stated that I was NOT enrolled when IN FACT I was!! The director of the Financial Aid office told me that she wouldn't change the decision for my loan even though THEY made the mistake. I got hung up on, I constantly got transferred to people who didn't know what was going on and on top of all that, the staff was rude! This school has managed to set me back from my program a whole entire YEAR!! I wasn't able to register for my classes because these people didn't "know" that there are two different A&P classes for different programs! Therefore, I had to become a transient student to make up for those courses. Out of all the comments I have ever heard about this school, not ONE comment was positive! I should've listened!! Horrible school I recently finished the welding and joining technology program at the Grovetown Campus in which 3 semesters were with a teacher who was rude, disrespectful, and just sat in his office and didn’t care about the well being of his students I was basically teaching myself. Then just recently I contacted the new instructor who taught me for my final semester for a recommendation letter for employment opportunities and have yet to receive a email from him after he said he would write me one and took down my personal information. If you are going for a trade such as being a welder, electrician, carpenter etc. go through the Local Labor Unions In Augusta and get training and certifications at industry standards for free.Trace Woodyard

I am doing the Information Technology Program. I find that several of the instructors will assist to grasp the concepts and get adequate hands-on for the programming and IT(computer network) related subject than you would get at a four year institution like AU (Augusta University). Student organizations are present but not very active currently. Labs, classrooms and technology support are less than optimal or ideal as would be expected for a technical college. I hope that with the Georgia Cyber Center(GCC) being recently opened here things will change for the better in the school's future.STAN ANDER

I am a current student here. Next month I will be going on my extern. Honestly, this school was not what I expected due to the fact that I went to another MA school years prior to enrollment here. I want to say that Ms. Henson is by far the best knowledgeable MA teacher at the school. I learned a few things that I did not already know. The only thing I would say that I did not like about this school is how the curriculum is set up. First module, which is 4 weeks, you take certifications like CPR, HIPPA OSHA. Then you take 9 modules which is blended with other students. From there until you complete it's 2 hours lecture and 2 hours lab broken down into categories such as cardiology, geriatrics, pediatrics etc. In lab you do the skils pertaining to that subject. Most of the time it's in lab you don't have time to practice to be comfortable doing it on your own. I feel the other school was easier because the first 3 months I learned the body systems and CPR, OSHA, HIPPA and we got quizzes on what we learned. The last 6 months was lab. This gave us plenty of time to practice skills and be comfortable doing them. At Altierus, there is no quiz except the weekly homework that most of the time you cannot find answers in the book and the teacher never discussed it. So I end up wasting time on a timed quiz looking for the answer.And 2 hours of lab does give a lot of time practicing skills. I got all A's in each module. I think that's because I already work in the medical field and I went to another school as well. Do I think I would have learned anything here? Not as much. I think the curriculum really needs be revised only because it's a lot of information and 4 hours is not enough.Tacara Brown

This university scammed me out of 10,000$, I was never even able to receive a mecical license because of past criminal history. They charged me for a background check before I began my program and postponed starting my classes for clearance. I asked several guidance counselors and instructors when I received a substantial amount of money back from a grant I was applicable for. If I should begin the expungememt so it would be completed before I graduated. Everyone said not to worry and to invest in my new career. If they can take advantage of you they will. A defensive tone asking me to contact a 1-800 call center for help, making many claims at their irresponsibility stating that they are not an employer and are in fact an educational institution. It also mentions that they fully inform students at the difficulty of being hired by an employer with a record. As an educational institution it is required to understand the laws correlative to programs you offer towards state licensure. It is illegal to trade massage for money without a state license. Is that the difficulty you refer to graduates? I passed my state licencing exam, yet still have no licence. I am on my way, no thanks at all to practicing illegally as implied by this institution.David Durant

I’m glad I choose Altierus career college to obtain my dental assistant diploma. The staff were very supportive even tho my first language is not English. Ms Barnaby is a excellent teacher she has a lot of experience as a dental assistant she will give you some tips so you can work better assisting a dentist. I learn a lot from her and believe me every tips she’ll show you will help you a lot in your career to be better at your work. They have a lot of hands training which you really need so you get used to how offices perform out there. I graduated at the end of 2019 first job, is where I learn more about assisting amazing doctor but the pay was very low, but I get it I just graduated so I let it pass now I moved from Florida to NY and my EFDA is still acceptable dentist didn’t have a problem with that. All you need is to learn how to do your job and then you can ask for your price how value you think you are for the company. I highly recommend Fortis College. This college truly wants their students to succeed in all aspects. This college has helped me find a job while I was a student. They also work so very hard to get you prepared and employed upon completion of the program. That alone is a huge relief on any student. Every single instructor that I had, truly made an impact and were always willing to go the extra mile. I also wanted to recognize 2 special individuals who helped me along my journey as a Dental Assistant student. Both Mrs.Peterson and Ms.Green have truly been phenomenal throughout my course of being a student. They truly take their time to allow their students to understand step by step what they are learning. I can assure you I asked numerous questions and they patiently helped assist until I understood. Not only are they excellent instructors (Mrs.Peterson Director too), they took the time to get to know us individually and even listened to our worries and even issues that we faced outside of class. They both have kept me level headed when I made mistakes and also made learning fun. Overall, I am grateful for my experience at Fortis College. I am happy to also include that all the hard work and support from the school has helped me obtain my Diploma in the Dental Assistant Program. My experience at fortis has been more than amazing . With such a beautiful and welcoming staff I just had to write a view . A special shout out to some of my most memorable instructors, Ms. Forte for always making sure we buckled down on what we learned and creating such a fun atmosphere during lab, Ms. Jowers for being my first instructor and making class such a fun learning style and giving us open discussions and Mrs. Turner for always being their for the students weather it was about school or not about school. I just received my bachelor's from Herzing University, and I cannot say that I would recommend this school to anyone. For those looking to pursue education exclusively online, I would say that this program is pretty straightforward, however, being on the Atlanta campus was stressful more than half of the time. When I started there in 2013, there were a number of professors that were so passionate about teaching (for instance Mrs. Hess, Mr.Moore and Dr. Friedman <—this guy had to be the best instructor to teach mathematics I've ever had) but to my knowledge, they've all left the campus. Now, it seems like they're understaffed and just unprofessional overall. I had a professor tell me that they asked him to teach a course the day before (leaving him unprepared, and I honestly felt that he was unqualified to teach the class (but when the lesson plans are laid out for you I suppose anyone can teach anything). In the time that I was there, there were three academic deans and three presidents. I tried to get assistance with tutoring once, and I had to literally chase them down to respond to me. Then, three weeks into the class with no tutor and the dean asked me, "Do you think getting a tutor at this point is worth it?" Seeing as though this was the last class I needed to graduate, I was baffled. What kind of question is that to ask a student? When enrolling here, I was under the impression that I would be able to take the majority of my classes on campus. I was a criminal justice student, and the majority of my criminal justice courses, and none of my law classes were available on ground. I pretty much just took my gen-ed classes on campus, and ended up online for two years because none of my other classes were offered on ground. To wrap this up, if you're looking to take classes exclusively online, then sure, give this school a shot, but I could never see myself returning here to further my education.Rose Gold

If you want to stay in communication with anyone regarding your academic records or attendance at this school, DO NOT EXPECT A CALL BACK! Their communication skills are the worst! I am currently in the process of trying to communicate with my advisor, Mr. Jermonte Battle after leaving messages and emails and no response. I was transferred to another advisor who sounded like he did not want to assist whats so ever and was quick to get rid of me over the phone. They are definitely money hungry and make you go through hoops to take of business! Today I have left a message for Shannon Moore, the director of admissions I guess and hopefully I'll receive a call back….I will be keeping this post updated! So please reconsider and continue to look scholars! 8/23 – I sent an email to Jermonte Battle expressing my pure concern regarding his communication skills and my request to withdrawal, his response was very short and he quickly directed me to the registrar's office to withdrawal. No remorse, no questions of concern or any interest on how he could make me continue to keep me as a student at Herzing whatsoever! RUN Future Scholars! I currently attend this school and for them to actually act like they care but don't really show it tells a person a lot. You can request no online classes but will place you in one. I feel like they set you up for FAILURE. There's a lot of work that this school needs in order to be great and communication is one. This college has made a terrible impression. They got me admitted as a transfer student, and I have been preparing for the Fall session online, but to appear in person, and I just found out I missed the registration deadlines because student advising never got back to me. I took the new student orientation and the professor, just skimmed through all the info. There wasn't time for questions, and she cut it short by 30 minutes. It didn't even explain how to register online. I had been in communication and prepared for this session but didn't understand how to register so all the classes I had 'added to my schedule' weren't actually registered, and no one followed up with my questions. I thought I was registered, and even as I try to register now after the fact, it still says I need student advising which no one ever got back to be except for an email to say I already had everything set up. I am torn about this. Now I have to wait another session to get started?! NO! I will take my education somewhere where I can actually get assistance. This is such an emotional drag.Gabrielle Flores

I had to complete a practicum for a TEFL certificate. I had to find a school that would allow me to get my teaching hours. This was a stressful process for me. Thankfully, Jennifer Gutierrez , the Director of Education actually got back in touch with me and really worked to ensure that were able to work out arrangement where I got get the education practice that I needed. I really enjoyed working with their faculty. They were all so kind! They really made me feel comfortable and at home there. They answered all my questions and went out of their way to do whatever they could. 10/10!Tori Allen

When I first came in this school, I did not think that I will be fluent in English one day, now I am here talking to every body in English of course. Teachers very patient and very professional, books very useful and adapted to each English level, and you meet people from each part of the world. Very proud to be one of your student. ICT is a school of reference for us immigrants who wanted to integrate quickly and well in the United States. The school has absolutely been ran down into the ground. It was bad when I was there but now it's even worse. As a graduating student I suggest you spend your money elsewhere because it is not worth the hassle, the time, or the broken promises that are promised to you before graduating School. As a graduating student I was promised that I would be able to go back to the school whenever I was able to have the time to during the classes or the labs to be able to practice well lo and behold that is by far not the truth. And to receive comments of it's paying students before graduating students is unacceptable and very unprofessional. That sounds like discrimination at his best and I am still waiting a call back from the dean to be able to discuss the matter. Which I still have not received a call back. Not only have all the best teachers left the school, but they have also pushed away a lot of good teachers that should still be there. A lot has changed even since when I was going there but to be honest a lot has changed to where I don't want to go back even as a graduating student to be able to practice for where I need to be.Rachel Phillips

Halfway through my program which cost 20k they decided to switch to online learning. Of course using COVID as an excuse but this came probably the day after the governor lifted the mandates. This is after falsely advertising “hands on” education. I tried to switch classes explaining that it is very difficult to learn a skilled trade on a computer screen and was sent to the dean. She very kindly told me that if I didn’t like it I could just drop out. Leaving me financially responsible for a degree I didn’t receive and knowledge I did not learn. Two weeks into these hybrid classes the instructor sleeps at his desk the days we are in class and today he never showed. If you care about your education and money run away from this place. They enroll you on all these promises of a wonderful school. What you really get is old dirty buildings. Overcrowded classrooms. Antique tools and equipment that are broken and falling apart.B s

I made the biggest mistake of my life enrolling in this school. I enrolled in the veterinary assisting program and at least at my campus in Orlando we weren’t very hands on with anything when I got to my new place of work I had knowledge of things but couldn’t actually demonstrate anything because we didn’t have any practice in my school. Students would go in smelling like dope because the campus is on orange blossom trail I didn’t feel safe doing night classes. And the thing that has frustrated me the most is that you don’t really get a real degree. You get a certification that you have to renew every year or so that gains you absolutely no status at a vets office. You start just like anyone else who doesn’t have experience. Which means I could’ve just applied at a vets office with no experience and probably still gotten hired. If you’re looking to waste your money and time go for it.Elizabeth garza

Dr.George was the best instructor ive ever had LET ME TELL YOU! i have never enjoyed school and never made above a B plus but after taking my first module with him i past all my first 3 classes with a perfect score of 100. His teaching style is amazing, he makes you feel like youre not alone, and he loves when u ask questions so if you're like me and hate asking questions he makes it so much easier its awesome. My career service advisor was great! Ms. Alexandria Vela helped me tremendously on my job search. She was one of the people from the campus who have always been very helpful. She has always been very attentive with me and always checked in, during and after my externship, and now that I'm hired she has continued to check in. May I express, I was worried about joining this institution, I hadn’t been in school for a while but when I first visited everybody made me feel so welcome with a constant smile on their face, I felt encouraged and wanting to be in class. Dr. Navarro is very knowledgeable and she sure makes sure we’re updated with our work. This school does not know how to treat its veterans. It's a shame all the money dumped into this school and we get no respect. We served this country and we pay all this money for an education and an environment that we don't receive. Bullying is a thing here like we are children. It's no wonder kids still think its ok. And we are told to just allow people to talk to us recklessly and maintain our professionalism all while no consequences are brought against those that are causing the initial disruption. And when you try to go through the proper channels to rectify an issue you are stalled and or retaliated against by instructors. The campus president is no help because he chooses to remain neutral in too many issues. No matter how much good you do around the school to boost morale, if you make a mistake professionally then you are basically plagued by that the rest of the time you are there. The culture is petty and very high school like including some instructors. Some of the male and female instructors need sensitivity training and a reality check. They are misogynistic and old-fashioned thinkers. I did however enjoy a few of my instructors. Ms. Williams, Mrs. Wright, Mrs. Banks, Ms. Jewell were great! Ms. Walker and admissions are nice as well as the receptionists, and Brittany Demeritt from the education department. Mrs. Collins in career services is amazing, she is very helpful and knowledgeable. The business office staff are very helpful as well.Diayana Edwards

I have never been to an institution that is 110% dedicated to your success. The outstanding staff at Lincoln tech don’t just see you as a bag of money- but as a human. They won’t you to succeed just as badly as you do! There was an MA instructors who stood out the most! I am convinced that I will never meet a more kind and loving human being – Instructor Melody Rudolph. This lady never let me waiver in anything I did here. If I didn’t understand something all I had to do was call or email her. She would respond promptly to you and your questions. She is an expert in the field and she will teach you everything she knows. Instructor Melody Rudolph is by far the best instructor I ever had. If I could take her to grad school I would! I attended this facility in 2007-2008. It was the most corrupt environment I've witnessed with my own eyes. At the beginning of the course, I was without a cellphone. One occasion, my husband tried contacting the school to notify me that our child was sick at daycare and needed me to pick him up. It took the administrative staff over 2 hours to get me the message. Another occasion, I was physically assaulted in a classroom room by another student. They did NOTHING. It was like being in high school. I didn't end up finishing because of these situations. No only that, but, the "teachers" gave "some" people the answers to all the exams just so they'd pass. This establishment should be investigated!! I wouldn't recommend ANYONE going here. They were HORRIBLE!!Misty Bridges

Never again! I’d advise anyone in need to think twice about going here and make every effort to go somewhere else. The triage process is horrible. I waited about 6 hours (11pm – 5am) and had to leave without being seen. There were several people that arrived before me who left as well. However, that didn’t make things go any faster with me trying to stick it out. The staff is completely disconnected from the patients, rude, and seem to care more about fraternizing amongst themselves rather than everyone being focused on caring for sick children in need. I witnessed another parent speak to a nurse manager and the parent had legitimate questions about wait time and service. The nurse manager’s response was patient in tone, but very much lacking in substance and almost came across like she was reading condescending, scripted rhetoric filled with excuses for the poor service. Then to make matters worse, a male came over (not sure of his role) to intervene as if he was going to put the mother in her place. He was loud, spoke over the mother – totally disrespectful and unprofessional, without an ounce of compassion for the child or the mother. The whole triage process is horrible and the acuity score is subjective. Therefore it becomes degrading when the ER is filled with all sick kids, yet some get to go back before others – all based on vitals and an assessment made before undergoing any real medical evaluation. The few triage questions don’t even seem to truly assess how sick a child is, especially over another. So I wonder how much personal judgment goes into all this, especially when research has proven discriminatory practices against minorities and the belief that some of us can endure more pain than others. This ER is a reflection of everything that’s wrong with our society and the health care industry as whole. The people at this location are in the wrong industry, and based on the poor operation it’s no wonder they have poor staffing issues too – and sick kids pay the price for this crisis.Anissa Matthews

My son had a first -time seizure at 9:30 p.m. and the paramedics recommended that I take him to CHOA. The ER was overflowing with patients when we arrived at 11 p.m. Most of the patients were suffering from respiratory issues and there was nowhere to sit, so the nurses allowed us to wait in our vehicle in the parking garage which was much appreciated. He was triaged within an hour, but it took 12 hours to be seen by a doctor. It was difficult being awake all night, but I completely understand that patients with life threatening situations take priority. (My son's vitals were fine.) And again, I was very thankful for being allowed to wait in the truck where my 10 year old son was able to sleep until he could be seen. We were called back at 9 a.m., but were not able to see the doctor until 11 a. m. Thankfully, the nurses were very pleasant and responsive to my son's needs. He had not eaten since 7 p.m. the night before, and he was starving. After quickly checking with the doctor, they gave him some crackers and Gatorade that helped until we could be discharged and get him some lunch. I was a little disappointed that we were not able to see a neurologist, but the ER doctor was great, and they gave me a referral for the first time seizure clinic. Every doctor and nurse we met was phenomenal. They were caring, responsive to our needs and excelled in their jobs. I wish my son could have been seen more quickly, but I'm thankful that he was well enough that he could wait to be seen. My heart goes out to the parents whose children were in worse shape than my son was.Stephanie B

Please stay away from this hospital if you can. We are from out of town and unfortunately had an emergency with one of our kids so we came here. This is probably one of the worst hospitals I have ever seen. Make sure to prepare yourself because the wait is few hours long. My son had flu and had allergy that his face was swollen that he couldn’t eat or drink anything for over 12 hours. I understand it’s hard to judge other kids that might not look as sick but every kid older or younger was going ahead of us. I understand the priority is for the kids that needs the most. But we don’t go to the hospital unless extremely necessary but this is horrible. No one for over 2 hours checked his temperature even though I said he was having fever all night and swollen and not eating. He can barely breath. We are not from around here and came to this hospital based on reviews, but we were so wrong on coming. Hopefully people that lives in Atlanta have better service and hospital than this one.
