20 Best Summer Programs In San Jose, CA (2022 Updated)

The administration is not interested in offering equal access to education for parents who are looking to get one. The college is not interested in reestablishing the on-campus child care center. Also the administration knew the science building chemistry hoods were not functioning properly for years and never let students know. The professors are incredible but if you are a mother good luck because the college doesn't care that in order to access education, women with children (those who require an education for a chance to improve their children's future!) need some equitable student services. Don't take my word for it scroll through the reviews. Most reviewers are male even though majority of students who attend the college are women. Read into it what you will but the facts remain that the college has a child care center on campus but refuse to renovate it even though property taxpayers agreed to pay for it (measure g 2004).Melissa Martinez

The college incorrectly listed me as a non-California resident. When I attempted to fix this, I found that I could not get in touch with ANYONE from the business offices. Eventually, they started having a debt collector call me because I wanted to sort out the residency issue so that I would not be charged nearly $1000 for my classes. This has been going on for months now, I attempt to call their offices almost every week and no one answers me. I'm beginning to suspect that they are just trying to force me to pay the non-resident fee so that they can get some extra cash. All in all, I have had a horrible experience with the administrative services, and if I could get on the line with anyone, I would have been happy to have paid the appropriate tuition months ago.Laura Israel

Overall, the colleges is good. However, other colleges are doing much better. $ stars for the efforts in trying to become better. Recently they have started to work on the new Gymnasium building. Teachers and professors are good but they are very diverse. The teaching style of all the teachers differ and they might not be ok with everyone. So choose your class wisely. Overall the crowd is good but sometimes you might find some not so friendly people. I am not sure about the safety. Most professors are very kind. The school as reopened for in-person learning. The food and library are open. Staff, students, and visitors will need to fill out a health screen to be on campus. (I'd say take a screenshot to easily show the green check) The construction in the middle of campus is done and the beautiful campus is opened up. I like the school, and the professors are great. All of the professors I have taken have been kind. However, the staff- Araceli the manager from the mission college bookstore is extremely rude. She lacks customer service skills. She will yell at you in front of the entire store to the point where everyone is staring. I have had two negative encounters with her, and I am a very polite person. I have kept my calm even after being completely humiliated by her.Samantha Cruz

Mission College has one of the most supportive and enthusiastic professors. I enjoy coming in to all of my classes because they engage me into their lesson plans. Not only that but they make sure that all of their students are understanding the assignments and offer alternative support systems for them to succeed in the classroom. Really fun and highly interactive place with 3 floors, the first floor is the place to check-in either with your membership card, online or on-site purchase, IMAX, and the souvenir shop; the second floor with the exhibit of human body and organs, and other tech activities; the underground is a place that you may have experienced hand-made creativity and other games. Definitely is a ideal place for kids to releasing energy and to kill the time for at least 3 hours! After stamping on the card of the nearby parking lot next to the Marriott by the staff of the Tech Interactive, you will enjoy the most great deal with $5 a day for the parking! Came down as a chaperone for a school field trip. I do love science museums and this one was no disappointment. There was quite a variety exhibits to interact with I just wish we had more time. We took part in the physics roller coaster class that the kids really enjoyed. The living colors lab was also very insightful. If you for get to bring your lunch the cafe has plenty of options. As someone currently attending college level math and science courses I was genuinely interested in checking out this place. But I found that some of displays were very visually appealing to interact with, it was hard to try and comprehend the lessons they were trying to teach. The displays seemed geared towards younger children that might be exposed to something and possibly want to become interested in STEM. Otherwise they just wind up playing with the displays while parents follow them around.Steven Ogbuehi

History Park is a hidden gem here in San Jose, CA! I'm embarrassed to admit I've lived in this city for almost 50 years and just visited History Park for the first time yesterday. The park contains all sorts of buildings, machines, vehicles, and interesting artifacts from the earlier days of San Jose (from the mid 1800's to the present.) It's set up like a little town, with old SJ houses, trolley car, post office, gas station, bank, and much more! We had a very friendly Tour Guide who was knowledgeable about everything we saw in the tour. Although the tour cost $10 (unless you're a member), the park is open and FREE most every weekend from 12-4 pm. I would definitely come here again, and I urge you to bring your kids as well to see what San Jose looked like in the 'old' days! Even well behaved dogs on leashes are welcomed!NF Robertson

What a beautiful hidden gem! I Absolutely love this park!! Hidden behind on the other side of Happy Hollow, this place is quite a Charm! There are many historical buildings all around, such as Portuguese museum, Chinese, and Vietnamese Victorian buildings, clean well kept gardens, Candy gift shop, Pacific Hotel, and even an old-fashion ice cream shop within the park. This History park reveals Santa Clara Valley's past, many businesses, best kept landmarks and various other best attractions. Completed with running trolleys, paved peaceful streets, and through 32 original and reproduction homes, this park offers the charm and the ambiance of times gone by. With so much to learn and many things to explore, this Historical town just keeps me coming back for more!Thia Le

My kids loved the decorated houses, the crafts, and the light show – which turned into a really fun kid dance party. Teachers work incredibly hard, infinite extracurricular activities and clubs, tons of events, incredible campus, supportive environment, and that view though. Very good school for Christian youth. The facility is excellent, although the neighborhood does not look appealing. The students are friendly, and the Christian faith should be the foundation for their future life. Very good view and nice staff. Driving up the hill is a bit challenging.Ye Josh

Absolutely recommend such a wonderful children's museum! We didn't even get close to exploring everything but there are so many fun things for young children to discover and enjoy! We only focused on the main floor for this visit. There is a fire truck, ambulance, car, and wagon that kids can climb into. They have large sturdy foam blocks and shapes that kids can build their own creations with. There is a large play food area where staff work to sanitize pieces in between kids playing. There is an interactive water play area (and a smaller one for kids under 4) where kids use balls to explore how water affects the movement of objects. There are tunnels with pressurized air that moves giant pom poms all around. There is an outside area where they have a beehive, garden, bubbles station, and an a tree playground with a slide and rope pathways bridges to climb on. And that's just the start of all the wonderful things they have. They also have special events to celebrate different cultures. We were able to visit during the mid-autumnal festival. Kids were able to make Play-Doh moon pies to take home and there was a lion dance performance that was fantastic! Masks are required for everyone 2 and older inside. Also strollers are only allowed inside for children who are not waking (infants). If you don't have a membership you need to reserve tickets ahead of time (adults and children 1 and older are $15 each, seniors $14, children under 1 are free). Their play/ticketed times on the weekend are broken into two chunks 9:30am to 12:30pm and 1:30 to 4:30pm. There are a variety of parking lots nearby with most costing about $7. So much to see and explore! We’ve been here twice. Once when my oldest was a toddler and twins were crawling. And this second time my son is older and twins are preschoolers. And with these trips I noticed that this museum is best for younger kids 7 and under, but the older kids can still find something to enjoy. The baby crawl area on the second floor is my favorite! I was able to let my babies crawl around and explore in a safe space. The outdoor backyard is a lot of fun too, my kids were excited about the garden and the strawberries that were growing in it. Each area is a ton of fun and there are so many learning opportunities to be had with your kids here. I like to sit back and let them play in each area for a while. Bring water and snacks! There is no food court probably because of COVID, but there are water bottle refill stations. I saw lots of shirtless kids because they got too wet in the water play area lol so an extra set of clothes is a good idea.lidia flores

I will say it’s a good museum for kids above 1 year. I will no recommend this museum for kids over 5 Most of the activities are for toddlers. I have 2 kids, the oldest 3 1/2 and he had a blast. And being a kids museum I thought there were going to be activities or sensory stuff for my youngest, he is 8 months, and he was literally all the time in the stroller because there are almost anything for this age. So if you don’t have a kid older than 1 don’t waste you time. The museum allows strollers if you have infants if you don’t, you have to park the stroller outside the museum. There are easy access to parking lot . The museum is no too big, you can use 2 hours and do all the activities. Being that this was the first time for my family were were super excited to see how beautiful and spacious this place was in comparison to The Sacramento Zoo. Upsides : any kid 5 and under would literally have a blast here and run out so much energy. The rides are free and after paying to get in any parent can appreciate not having to pony up more money for the rides. And there is literally so much room to run and play that it’s almost impossible to not have fun especially with the huge 3 story playground located in the center. Downsides : there are literally less animals than the Sacramento zoo and I promise I didn’t even know that was possible and to still list the place as a “Zoo”. Out of the 13 animals located on the left , there were 7 missing or not in the exhibit . I brought my 7 and 17 year old and realized 20 min into this trip that it was going to be very short . With the lack of animals actually out in the public and the rides going from adventure to boring in a matter of seconds at the ages I had with me …..it was an hour and a half at 70.00 for a family of 4 + parking making it 80.00. I could have went to the mall with them and got them something 40.00 each and the experience on our vacation would have been slightly better because we have something to show for and would have been walking for 2 times longer . All in all : decent place for kids 5-9 solely based on the huge playground. (Not worth the money just to play in a park. ) Not a place for a first date or for anyone single or without children. There’s not enough for adults to do period. Totally not a place for a teenager unless there working there. But it’s cute and perfect for babies.Krystina Fisher

End of review is options/experience for kids I had a a wonderful time, my day off during the week is the best time to go it was peaceful and full of family fun, the animals were all very well taken care of and the staff were all so friendly, there was one staff encounter I had that wasn’t the greatest she had ignored me after acknowledging me standing next to her.. for almost 1-3 minutes (take note the zoo was not packed busy) so I stood waiting for her to finish her conversation with two gentleman near the exit of the zoo.. and finally got her to ask me if I needed help and showed me which was the Jaguar habitat was I would have expected her to be more friendly i know times are hard but it doesn’t help to project attitude onto others.. so avoid (crystal) she wasn’t very friendly but all the other staff were absolutely amazing and super friendly, so my experience overall was 80% amazing aside from the one bad apple 1. Kids can pet and groom goats with parents even feed so amazing and the animals are all super friendly 2. There are fun playgrounds and climbing structures for the kids 3. Multiple Safe rides for young kids I recommend bringing water! And hats avoid sunburnsCM Maggio

Disclaimer: This place would NOT live up to your expectations if you DONT have kids. The ratio of play areas to actual exhibits is high 😀 However, that is exactly the reason it was perfect for a day visit with my 2 year old 🙂 My daughter really enjoyed the play areas, the kiddie rides, petting the goats and simply running around. This was her first trip to a zoo, so she was really excited to look at the animals. The park is not too big and can be easily covered in ~2 hours. We went here at 10 am when the park opens and didnt get a lot of crowd. It costs $10 for parking (all day) and $17 entry fee (2 year and up). So if you live close by and plan on visiting often, it makes sense to get the membership which starts at $55 (includes unlimited visits). Would highly recommend visiting if you have kids. Visited on

Located in downtown and is close to several restaurants and bars so it is very convenient to stop and take a look in the museum. They still have a mask requirement here, so have one ready. My son had a great time at this camp! He said it was his favorite summer camp that he’s been to. He was able to do and try so many different things- bounce houses, roller hockey, rock wall climbing, dodge ball, kickball, musical chairs, and all kinds of other fun games! The counselors were amazing, and it was clear they were invested in the kids. They knew my son after the first day, and myself as well. I wish I’d had him try it earlier in the summer because I would have added additional weeks. We’ll definitely be back for camp here next year! Thank you to everyone at the GrowFit camp. For the most part, my 5 year old son loves coming here for school breaks. From day 1, the coaches were engaged with the kids so my son did not hesitate with me leaving him there. Check in process is organized. What is also nice is that they do not charge for the extended hours that working parents usually need. My son also loves the hot lunch that is included. The location is great and spacious and a huge bounce house play area! It's a great find for child care option on school breaks in the area. I hope they stick around. Our 6 year old has attended GrowFit a few times so far, and he thoroughly enjoys it. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Our son talks about all the different sports and activities he was involved in during the day, and the new friends he's made. We're glad he's in a safe place where he's learning new things and being active rather than sitting all day. We appreciate the early drop off and late pickup option as well. When my son started at CalColor with Ms. Rain during the pandemic, he had been to several other art schools. Ms. Rain immediately became his favorite art teacher. Each class, Ms. Rain evaluates everyone’s work and gives candid feedback. Her calm voice and detail-oriented teaching style foster a focused and engaging class environment. Ms. Rain truly cares about her students as individuals and the progress they make. She provides material for students with different level of artistic experience, encouraging creativity while focusing on acquiring new techniques. She is a great communicator as well. She makes us feel very much comfortable to check in with her often, with questions which may or may not be related to her class. Ms. Rain even reached out to us when she saw an opportunity for my son to get into a higher-level class when we did not know he could. In addition to her tremendous ability as a teacher, Ms. Rain’s Portfolio Development Prep class also follows a carefully designed curriculum, covering a variety of important topics with a systematic approach, laying a solid foundation for the aspired future artists. My daughter has been attending the Cupertino CalColor for 2 semesters now. She was always interested in drawing and had taken a few art classes in Kindergarten, but going from the after school art classes to CalColor is like going from those old flip phones to a new smartphone. Her art improved quite a bit and she now finds even more enjoyment when she draws and colors. Techniques taught to her in just the last few months have been: shading single/vanishing point perspective layering She loves unicorns and the difference between her pre-calcolor classes and post-calcolor classes is pretty big. Her teacher, Miss Peiju has been extraordinarily patient and accessible. She understands how 6 year old kids can be easily bored and does a great job of both challenging and educating them. Even though there's some homework, its not unreasonable and it gives my daughter an opportunity to show us what she's learned. =) Highly recommended! I am very glad that I draw here in CalColor, as part of the big art family. I love the PD-Prep class taught by Ms. Rain, in which I have learned very much. Ms. Rain teaches with clarity and precision. She made my art skills increase drastically. Guiding the class step by step, she helps me understand the basic to complicated ways of drawing realistic things. She is a fabulous and professional teacher. CalColor is an amazing art school which shows students the beautiful core of art. It encourages students to learn but also be creative at the same time. I've never been one for the gym. I'm athletic and active but never a dedicated gym goer. Until I found VHP six months ago. I love Matt's methodology and the individualized attention I get from working with a trainer, since maintaining good form is crucial for me in learning these new exercises. I was motivated to start because I was starting to experience some nagging back pain, which was disrupting me from getting into any kind of rhythm with working out. My goals were essentially to keep my body in great working condition as I take on new sports (mountain biking, surfing, dance classes). Since I've started working with Matt not only is back pain non-existent, I've hit an over the fence home run in a softball game, which is something I haven't been able to do since I was young, I can do unassisted chin ups, and I could sprint through the airport dragging heavy luggage behind me during the holiday season like it was easy. I'm hitting new PRs every week, meeting new, fun/awesome people all the time in the gym and learning so much about improving the physical state of my body. I'm excited to start including mobility training with Matt, and seeing all that I can accomplish in my second 6 months with him.Meg Han

This summer wanting to increase my speed strength and heavily focus on injury recovery I quickly looked for placed to help me prepare for next season. After my first session with Matt at VHP. I knew exactly where I not only needed to be but where I wanted to be. VHP has a superb environment that has helped me reach my goals for this upcoming season. I have quickly learned that Matt has tons of experience and is very knowledgeable in sports performance and injury prevention. I have found myself through his program quickly building strength for my certain sports needs and have found myself quicker and faster on the ice and ground as well. Hello Everyone, I have recently started my training with Matt. I love it! Matt carefully listens, very agile and able to adjust training properly to my condition. Initially, I have approached him with my concern about knees and low back pain, he proposed training program which I follow and I feel that it is working! I feel way better, stronger, and it helps me with daily life activities and hobbies. This is my first experience with training under close supervision, and I am amazed with the level of details and corrections that Matt provides. School of Rock is great! Everyone is really kind to both the parents and the students. It is clear that every employee and instructor wants to make it a fun experience but also a place where the students can really learn music and grow as musicians. Jonathan is incredibly talented, clearly knows music and makes the experience for our keyboardist very positive, encouraging and enjoyable. I love that the kids learn songs right away and that they play together as a band. My daughter really enjoys learning electric guitar and she really likes her instructors at School of Rock. The “rock studio” atmosphere adds a fun and inclusive element that really makes it a more exciting experience and she likes the small class size for the group lesson. For her, learning guitar with songs she likes and chooses herself really empowers her to own the lessons rather than just being told what to do, which she resists. Our son has been at School of Rock since he was 4. We had a long break during COVID and we are back at it. Jack is now in the Rock 101 class and learning to really get a song together as well as picking a favorite instrument. Jack is now 10 and has always loved going to class. Our daughter, who is 10 now, has been going to the academy for 1.5 years. She had very little experience from before. Everybody were very welcoming and nice. It felt like family from day one. I like their main values which are about learning through very supportive environment and family matters the most. Corrections and guidance is given in a way that it's understandable and age appropriate. I have seen huge growth of confidence in my daughter. She came in as rather shy, but is just smiling and fully enjoying herself on the stage now. We love that the school is providing wide variety of trainings which all support becoming even a professional dancer. Linda Hurkmans is excellent classical ballet teacher, Kim Gardner is very knowledgeable in conditioning and injury preventing and Sian Ferguson is giving contemporary classes which are adding much needed broader skills to the dancers. I'm just naming the people with whom my girl is working with right now, but there are many other excellent teachers there. Occasional masters classes add even more variety to the mix. The school has great new facilities. There are large class rooms and appropriate equipment for the dancers. I'm enjoying the big break room where I can work while waiting or dancers can do homework and eat, too. The school has also great performance possibilities. They have at least 2 performance a year and the occasions increase as dancer grows to higher levels. The legendary The Nutcracker which is held at San Jose Center of Preforming Arts is excellent change to part of something bigger. It's running two weekends with 9 shows in a theater for about 2500 people. As a parent I totally love that I can actually be part of the school by volunteering. I have been helping as stage crew volunteer which has been so much fun and I get to share my experience with my dancing daughter.Raimond Sinivee

San Jose Dance Theatre is well-rounded ballet school for my daughter. She is quickly developing her classical ballet technique while enjoy the camaraderie of training and performing together in the numerous events produced by SJDT. My daughter looks forward to the annual Nutcracker performance at the Center for Performing Arts in San Jose. It is wonderful opportunity for ballerinas of all ages to perform in a professionally choreographed production in front of a large audience. In addition, it encourages them to build confidence in their dancing abilities in a supportive environment. I greatly appreciate that the school makes it a priority to enforce behavioral and dress codes. I think this has been an important factor in her overall ballet development.Robbie Zylstra

Needing to really improve her ballet technique, my daughter attended SJDT’s summer open classes and another ballet academy’s summer camp prior to her senior year in high school. She then accepted Miss Linda’s invitation to join SJDT for her entire senior year. That was absolutely the right decision! My daughter’s ballet skills improved to the point where she won an award for ballet at a multi-genre dance convention and was accepted into multiple college dance major programs! My wife and I are grateful to amazing instructors Miss Sian, Mister David, Miss Mariana and, of course, Artistic Director Linda Hurkmans for helping our daughter succeed in her dance goals. My son has done Little League and AYSO but his favorite afterschool acitivity hands down has been Kidizens. He started at Kidizens in last their LEGO summer camp and has almost finished his Fall class. He loves and thrives on the interaction, the planning, discussions, and LEGO building. He's learning without realizing it and totally enjoying it. Teachers cover in a learn by doing way city planning and infrustructure, flood and sewer management, utilities, police and fire departments, campaigning for city council and elections. My son has learned about architecture too. You can see the excitement in the kids at the end of class when they assemble to debrief and plan as a group. They have a great way with the kids giving them ample room while also leading them into various learning and planning scenarios. It's even great for kids enrolling without a buddy as they quickly pair up and create together. Our son attended this two week camp and it was his favorite camp all summer! I love how thoughtful the camp is, how detailed the intricate the city planning is, how it is appropriate for all age levels and how much the kids learn while having fun. The camp counselors when above and beyond when they couldn't get a hold of us and just worked to make our son comfortable during an uncomfortable experience. I highly recommend sending your children here because who doesn't love legos? Camp counselors are engaged and energetic and the "curriculum" is well thought out. My now 7 year old son has done 5 sessions of Kidizens Young Mayors lego camp over the past 3 years, and he's LOVED it every time. Yes, it's a lego camp, so of course a lego-obsessed kiddo will love it. But it's much more intellectually engaging than that. They have to build a city and make tradeoffs between different decisions. My two daughters have been taking art lessons from Maria for almost five years. Art School of SF Bay organizes their curriculum in a way that the students have opportunities to use a variety of media and materials, and to learn about different artists and styles from all over the world. Of course, they learn about art history as well. During the class, each student will work on a subject matter of their choice, but under a pre-designated theme. So you will not see all the kids are drawing the same apple, but rather each kid has their own still life set. This requires a lot more attention and guidance from the teachers, but really frees up the kids' mind when they create their own art. My daughter attended the full day week long "Painting Nature" online class this summer. She liked it soo much that she used to get up early and be ready before the class started (this doesnt happen on normal days:)). The teacher Katerina was exceptionally good with the kids and taught them new stuff in a methodical and engaging way. We are planning to enroll her in regular classes after that camp. I've been a student at this art school for about 4 years now, and the teachers are really awesome, easy-going, helpful, and amazing artists. Instead of just sitting around doing step-by-step circle cartoons, these teachers actually see hope in young children to make awe-inspiring pieces. I found this school really enjoyable as well as helpful, and it was a ton of fun. What can I say about this gym? It’s nothing like any gym I’ve been to. When I started my journey to becoming physically fit I was down and out battling depression and anxiety. It was hard for me to even commit to going out in public to do this. From the start the Hills made me feel comfortable, every one at the gym is none judgemental, no one makes you uncomfortable or they are out. It was perfect for me. They have both been nothing but incuraging from day one. It’s crazy how I can share my life with two strangers who actually care. They are my gym family. You meet a lot of great motivated people here who become friends, who become gym family. Instead of walking into a gym full of strangers and creepers, you walk into a zone of incuragemnent and support. It was way more than I ever expected to get out of my money. Yes I go to get in shape, but for me it’s the moral support I receive that seperates this gym from any other. My first day Mrs. Hill killed me, I was like what am I getting myself into?!? She’s not even taking it easy on me?! Because she knew I could do it! She pushes me every time I’m there, every time I think I can’t she tells me to “c’mon you can do it”. It’s inspiring when Mr. Hill comes up to me after class and says he saw me and I’m doing really good. From their meal plans and 3 times a week of personal training I have seen a dramatic difference. The results are amazing and addicting. The strength I have gained both mentally and physically from Hills Training is priceless. I will only continue my journey with them now. Great place to train whether you're an inexperienced fighter or a PRO. Conditioning is crazy if you really want to workout. Great professional staff with 10+ years of professional experience in the fight game. Everyone has mutual respect towards others, and treats you like family. You may get intimidated by these scary looking martial artist's, but everyone is actually friendly despite them beating the living lights out of each other haha!Ced Miranda

Great experience training here during the summer. There is a fantastic gym culture where everyone is very respectful and is there to improve and learn. There is a good mix of levels from newbies to semi/professional fighters. I started off new to MMA, and I've grown a lot in my experience with Coach Dave and the other Coaches. I loved every minute of the course..especially when we got to ride on the range for two 5-hour sessions. All the instructors Prema (virtual class and range instructor), Isaac (range instructor), and Shayon (virtual class instructor) were absolutely great. All instructors offered great tips to hone your riding skills to be safer out on the road. Everyone was super friendly and open to anyone asking questions. You will pass the written exam if you pay attention during the virtual class and read the student manual. Everything covered during the virtual classes appeared on the written exam and a few other questions stemmed from either reading the student manual or what was taught during the riding portion on the range. I highly recommend this course to anyone looking to learn how to ride and ride safely. Thank you Prema, Isaac, and Shayon for teaching me the skills necessary to ride safely both in our virtual classes and on the range. I would definitely recommend golden state Moto training courses. I am not a new rider. I came here for the driving license and I wanted to be more confident in my riding. I would say I did learn a lot! It was such a big improvement to me. They taught basic skills and pointed out my bad habit which may potentially cause hazard. I have four instructors: Mycah, Kyle,steven and Shayon . All of them are really experienced and knowledgable. They won't just read the DMV hand book to you, instead, they explained all the points crystal clearly. It's really impressive that Kyle answered all our questions about riding in a vivid way, easy to understand and keep to the point. He does ride well and teach well. All the instructors are super helpful and sweet. The only thing you feel is they are here to help you. You won't feel any negative pressure. I hope I will come back for intermediate lesson soon!jessica G

Could not recommend enough. I took the Basic Rider's Course and had a blast. Mycah was very clear in the classroom sessions. She did a great job of explaining and extrapolating on the core information. I passed the written test with absolutely no problem, thanks to Mycah's superb instruction. On the range, Kevin was just fantastic. Teaching is an art, and Kevin is an artist. Lots of positive reinforcement and very close attention to the needs of each student. His directions were very clear, and he provided specific critiques to everyone that immediately made sense. His warm demeanor completely melted any nerves I felt during the exercises and the test. I have no doubt in my mind that I'll return to Golden State Moto to take their intermediate and advanced courses. I had such an overwhelmingly pleasant experience that I can't wait.Kash Andrews

The studio is new and maybe this is the reason why there is lot of discrepancy between instructions levels: some power classes flow really well and feel, but some other classes have sequences that don’t make much sense and are confusing for all the students in the class. I really enjoyed Lisa’s way of teaching: gentlemen and powerful at the same time, but I was displeased in other classes when say people in class without mask 😷 or the room at capacity sweating on on-another’s mat. I don’t think I am really ready for that level of proximity while people breath intensively and in a heated room. Other than that I liked the studio and perhaps I would consider joining after the pandemic is resolved or if they had marking in the floor to keep distances. Finally the showers 🚿 have really low pressure so, although the changing rooms are clean I would recommend to shower at home.Diego Trazzi

My muscle and neck was pulling and very sore. Jasmin Yang is a yoga instructor and highly recommend to me to attend her class. Never think of recovery my muscle and neck pain. That’s magical things happened. I was attending 2 classes my muscle getting better and better. Even some of yoga positions that I still can’t doing well. But it’s working for my muscle and neck. Special I had car accidents and hurt my back and really recovered and detoxing my skin. My hubby kept to telling me my skin getting more smooth and healthy looking. I was doing trial for a week unlimited and woke up at 6am and attended early and late classes. I thought I would be so tired. Actually my body can feel more energetic and positive energy from hot 8 yoga. Thank u. I feel good and look better.Rita Yang

I tried Hot8 Yoga in Santana Row and liked the idea of a heated class as It warms my muscles quickly. I tried 6 instructors and 3 were excellent. Job, Mariam and Jen. And what makes a class a great experience is alignment knowledge, their passion, their care for the student, assisting in form correction. A instructor cares for all their students not just helping one or two. The studio itself is in a great location. The locker room has nice amenities such as shower towels, Kleenex, q-tips, lotion, razors, plastic bags for wet clothing. But wish the locker room had more seating especially next to the shower.Holly Wong

This is the first time I've reviewed a preschool and I say Priya and team deserve the praise through and through. Why? 1) Teachers are just like family, very warm, this was very important to me as my child was shy around adults and now I can see her be a lot more comfortable and confident which can only be around loving and assuring adults. 2) warm, in-house cooked Indian inspired meals. I am not aware of any other schools that provide this. 3) fun, safe and secure premises, something that can't be taken for granted these days. 4) Activities! Creative playtime with cute little projects gets my lil one very excited. Loves to show and tell me at pickup time. So much so she misses it on long weekends and asks to go-to school! Overall, I see many positive changes in my child since she started here, I love that she has already learned to cultivate great friends( just adorable to see 3 yr olds as inseperable buddys) , share, dance and sing uninhibited. Finally I have to comment on Priya's dedicated attitude towards the kids. She is extremely prompt about addressing any questions or concerns I've ever had. Every interaction with her tells me that she is a capable caregiver. Thankyou Priya and to all the teachers at PMP(Ms Raj, Ms Gowri, Ms Lee). Keep it up!Vindhya Koppaka

My son has been going to Precious moments for the last 8 months or so and he loves it. Teachers constantly engage kids with some activity or the other and have wonderful balance between the academic time and fun time. Very creative ideas for crafts and fun activities. My son loved the reptile show and the summer fun activity the most. The teachers patiently spend time with kids and pay attention to the individuals, understanding their likes and dislikes.. They serve fresh, healthy and well balanced lunches which I am not aware of another place that does this. The place is really clean. Whenever you have questions or want something to be addressed, the director and everyone promptly addresses things related to your child which always reassures you that your child is in safe hands.. Hey Dear friends, if you are on a hunt for the best preschool, I would strongly recommend precious moments preschool. Your little ones would definitely enjoy being here as the name itself suggests such a precious moments in a precious place. I being a working mom, feel so relaxed and happy that my son 3 years is in such a safe place with great teachers around. We see such a huge progress in my little one in just 3 weeks. such a well planned curriculum, amazing infrastructure, yummy healthy food, at home care from faculties, convenient location— what more to expect?
