I can't emphasize enough how amazing Epic Bible College and Graduate School is. The professors are intelligent, passionate, and caring. This is the best place for Christians that want to learn more about what we believe about God and why. The professors, staff and students are more like a family than a college. This does not diminish the level of accredited scholarship you will receive. The small physical size of the campus makes it easier to feel comfortable after only a few visits. The library is out of this world to grow in the study of religion and history. Make sure you talk to the admissions counselor about enrollment and financial aid available.Karif Lawrence

Overall, an okay community college experience so far from 2019 to 2022 (I took some summers off). The registration process for me was a nightmare. OpenCC upon some of the other processes were buggy, nonfunctional, or unclear. Despite this, I have to give them slack as when I was applying they were revamping their websites significantly. There's a mixed bag of good and bad staff. Some professors will be insanely rude, not understanding, and sometimes not even lecture properly on the topic at hand. Other professors will be really kind, understanding, and actively willing to work with you. Always look up the professor on Rate My Professor!!! Eservices, Canvas, and Counseling are atrocious. Eservices has been buggy at times or down for multiple hours. Canvas is usually a decent online learning tool, but sometimes it can get buggy and is not always accessibility friendly (as seen by not having a dark mode for example). I recall a time when Canvas was down due to the host servers, which are owned by Amazon, were completely offline. Counseling is not always helpful in guiding you to where to go next, will sometimes not even answer calls nor emails, and can get really busy (even with the switch from the old building to the Welcome and Support Center). I suggest looking up some information yourself on ARCs website first before talking to counselors, such as course catalogs or what classes you might take for a specific associates degree. I wish that counseling would still give out PHYSICAL course catalogs, but it is what it is. Finance is usually okay for parking passes, but other services is like pulling teeth. Communication on what is going on campus varies from good to poor. An example of this is when the pandemic began around midterms and there was the report of two people being exposed to Covid on campus, which caused mass panic and multiple people just walking out of class. Parking can sometimes be an issue, so be prepared to walk a little bit. Also, you will need a parking pass from a kiosk or buy a parking pass permit for the semester. Bathrooms could use some work. I recall a time where after flushing the bathroom started to flood. Food choices were fairly solid. If you were going to Starbucks or Subway during lunch, lines would get long. Only food offered on campus now is either from the student store, the cafeteria, the Oak Cafe, or the few vending machines on campus. Off campus, there's quite a few food places around, such as Lis Mongolian BBQ, Chik Fil A, and In-N-Out. The bookstore has been unorganized in the past, but is relatively chilled back and clean nowadays. Be warned that some things will be overpriced, but that's normal for college. Also, don't be shocked if there's a hassle with ordered books or book returns for refunds.Emily “Emma Anne” Branecki

It's almost like 90% of the people who work here will be rude over the phone and tell you to do everything online. They have messed up most of my paperwork, resulting in me having to resubmit residency forms, application forms, proof of ID. Somehow they put me as out-of-state which includes a 900% markup per credit. I went from expecting a $150 bill for a single class and ended up with a $1200 bill. No one wants to help sort it out. No one wants to answer the phone. The website is difficult to navigate. Honestly, I have had a single positive experience with one person in Admissions, and everyone else has been pushy, rude, dismissive, and argumentative. I am considering switching to literally any other school in the district. My partner attends SCC and it's laughable how smoothly they handled his transition back to school, compared to mine. Edit: it should also be noted that I had applied to ARC 4 times since 2013 and never received a welcome letter. I had emailed asking why I applied and was not told anything, or emailed, called – nothing. I got no response. Called last month because I was at my wits end and I am told "I can't give you a student ID number because your application was DENIED." I asked why and she told me she couldnt tell me. I asked for a supervisor who immediately told me "we have the wrong SSN for you, so none of your applications were accepted because it didn't watch our records." My CORRECT SSN, was being rejected. In 8 YEARS NO ONE EVER TOLD ME THIS. Just like they didn't tell me I was listed as out of state, despite submitting residency information multiple times. This school is a JOKEI Illyria

The college is great..,.. the bookstore however is 1 star at best. The school district sub-contracted it out and the new facilitators understand that they have a built in market from people having to use their financial aid or other assorted vouchers from various Govt entities and as a result they practice poor customer service utilizing people that are quite adept at rapid fire litanies telling you why none of the delays or shortages are their concern or problem. In fact in my opinion 90% of their employees that deal with the public are nothing more than thugs and bully's. They take no responsibility for faulty instructions in how to use the new book site with vouchers and tell you that they are "saaaawrrrrry" when they tell you they can't locate your books and give you a date when they will be in. Once again, in my opinion, they are nothing more than petty tyrants and bullies that should have their contract terminated for lack of accountability on their part. I am a freshman at Jesuit and my experience has been terrible, a majority of the students are snotty rich kids, and I got bullied my first day there. Education is nothing special, maybe just above average. Except for the fact that they pound you with valueless homework, I have had several days where I've sat at my desk at home crying because of the amount of stress. I have almost never have had a good day, and every day I contemplate quitting. The only thing holding me back is the absolutely ridiculous amount of money my parents are spending. And where does that money go? I have no clue! Most of it seems to go the chapel and priests and very little to the teachers and classrooms, because you are provided with nothing, you have to buy your books, your clothes (there is a dress code that forces you to wear school merch) your locker, and even your own laptop for Pete's sake, like they couldn't've afforded some Chromebooks. They constantly talk about "brotherhood" when there is none, just massive cliques that bully anyone that they feel doesn't belong. I fell for the trap that this school was going to be great during orientation, all that turned out to be face value. Don't make the same mistake and save your money! STUDENT EXPERIENCE: Let me be clear form the beginning: this is ONLY about the experience my son had here – it is not about the parental experience. My son went here and graduated in 2005 and I cannot say enough wonderful things about this place. The staff were always available and the priests gave my son a wonderful intellectual experience. PARENTAL EXPERIENCE: Not Awful but close. There are an exceptionally large number of well off families who send their sons here and the parent and school support efforts are much like a close club. I would not call them snobby, but rather just a closed club since they typically had been together through Catholic elementary school. We had been through elementary school at St Mary's but it still made it hard to "break in to the club". But for the educational experience, I do not think there is a better one in the area.K Bissell

AMAZING school! I am not quite sure where the negative reviews have come from in addition to there being an accusation of snobbery; from my experience, this is simply NOT the case at all. Jesuit has embraced my son with open arms. I am a single mother on a limited income and he is on financial aid, a large sum, to be quite honest. He has been struggling with the adjustment his Freshman year and frankly has been a pain in the rear; however, the school counselor, teachers and staff have been extremely supportive. They have stayed in constant contact with him, held him accountable and worked with him in the areas needed. I am 100% confident that with Jesuit's help, my son will become the confident, self-assured and productive member of society he was meant to become. Thank you Jesuit! This is one of the best museums I have ever been in. It began as a house, built in the 1860s to 1870s, but with full intention of the family to have it house their collections and someday be a public museum. As a result there is a wonderful 'old' section that is beautifully blended with modern architecture in the contemporary museum. There are an incredible number of galleries housing pre-Columbian and Mexican artifacts, Californian artists, Glassworks, sculpture, etc. The quantity and variety is too much to really note. Just better to go see. There is plenty of parking around the museum. I cannot comment on price as I walked there. On this day, entry was free or pay what you want. Lots of restrooms. A very wonderful place to lose yourself for a day. It's a whole day's worth of exploring wonderful pieces of art. There are three levels. The first floor does not have much art to look at because it's more of a welcoming venue with a gift shop. We went to the third floor and explored the California art. Beautiful pieces and beautiful 3D sculptures. Unique pottery. I was impressed by the Giant flood furniture exhibit. Created by Portier and stymis between 1876 through 1878. It's called the flood furniture set-such intricate designs carved into the wood takes your mind away to another place in time. There were so many things to see and read about the artists that I did not complete the whole museum experience in one day. COVID precautions require purchasing timed tickets. Sold at 15 minute entry intervals, I purchased mine right before I left my house. Beautiful expansion building is attached to the original Crocker mansion. Exhibits were well laid out and easy to navigate. Loved the bright open areas and the eclectic mix of Mexican, African and Asian art. Spent 3 hours here and easily could have made it a full day to take it all in. Gift shop is small but reasonably priced. Definitely worth a visit! Visited on

Visiting Sacramento for a week during Christmas break with my 7 and 2 year old and looking up things to do on the rainy days. I knew my older son would LOVE this as he’s in a plane/jets phase and Santa just brought him an aircraft carrier toy. The staff was awesome, like walking aviation encyclopedias. They answered all my son’s questions in a manner that was appropriate for his age. Very friendly and welcoming. He especially enjoyed the flight simulator. A nice man assisted my child, and shared that he was an Air Force veteran and my son was mesmerized. Not a very big museum, but we still managed to spend 3 hours there between all the activities they had and just looking at the planes and exhibits. Only wish we were able to see the inside of some of these aircrafts! Note: covid precautions advertised, but not strictly enforced. Even though they have signs up that says masks required, I’d say about 40% of the people there did not have their masks on at all (no mask, or hanging on their chins). And the ones who were wearing them, maybe half had their noses hanging out. Also even though they had hand sanitizer bottles on hands-on stations, none of them were filled or worked. This was our second time here and we came on a Friday around 1pm. No crowds at all so it was very nice for my family of 6. Our favorite part was getting into the FedEx airplane. The boys were excited about that and we chose to eat our lunch on one of the picnic tables under a airplane wing. How cool is that?! Very reasonable price to enter and the stuff and volunteers are very friendly. If you enjoy learning about war aircrafts and history this is a museum for you. Small but there's plenty of things to look at and learn. Oh the Freedom park outside the museum is awesome! Visited on

A really cool place. They have engines from various time periods as well as a few planes in the hanger. Outdoors they have all kinds of planes ranging from WW2 era C-53 to recent day warthog! The mars exploration exhibit was also really nifty but not as big. There are quite a few volunteers who will come up to speak to you and share their stories and knowledge of the various planes. We were lucky enough to have Richard talk to us about his time in Vietnam and experience in the Air Force. All in all a great place that appears to be growing and getting better. Visited on

I CAN'T BELIEVE I'M HERE. I traveled so far to see this place, and it was a delight. I've followed these kind folk on You Tube and Tiktok for a couple months, and every single video is full of information, wit, and gentle humor. I got to meet Alex in real life and another delightful human (I can't remember her name! 😶) and although I didn't meet Howard, I took my picture next to Flat Howard and bought a bunch of stuff. Small museum packed full of interesting pictures and artifacts: from the Indians to the gold rush to a 1920s home kitchen. Awesome experience, got to speak with Doc Logan, a doc with replica medical tools and knowledge and a table near the entrance to learn about early 1800s medicine. Overall a very interesting museum, worth the admission and should take about 1.5 hrs if you read all the plaques. Worth a revisit if nothing but for books at the museum shop! Visited on

Arrived at location and seen individuals standing outside in old attire conversing amoung each other. Entered establishment and received great excellent customer service. Museum holds old artifacts, showing how food was traded , sold etc among the first settlers, what people traveled with in those days and how people came to California in the hopes of finding gold. While this Museum was informative and intriguing, it ends quickly due to it being a small Museum. I was able to go throughout the whole area and photograph everything within an hour.Dying Rose

This was a great smaller zoo with lots of natural flora and fauna that lines the paths and enclosures. We got there right at opening so all the animals we being fed while it was cool. Really a nice variety of animals. Lots of benches and a play area for younger kids. Our family did the Animal Ambassador along with the Hooves and Horns behind the scenes tour. Both were amazing and involved endangered animals. The tours behind the scenes are a must! Chris and Jennifer were wonderful to work with to get both tours done. Would recommend it to anyone whom has a love for animals! Tip: Order tickets ahead to save a few bucks. Visited on

Always a joy to visit this zoo. I've lived in the are most of my life and was able to share the experience with out of town family. Purchased tickets online and skipped the line. The cheetah exhibit is where I remember the kangaroos being, they must have done that fairly recently. The cafe has a vegetarian option, but I was told that it's wasn't too good. The chicken sandwich and the Peruvian chocolate brownie was good though! Lots of seating available, and a well stocked gift shop. A definite must-see if you're visiting the area! Visited on

The dinosaurs 🦕 were such a great addition. My granddaughter (18 mo) just loved them. We went early so a lot of the animals were still being tended or just plain didn't feel like hanging out in the cold. Despite that she still had a blast as did the adults. The giraffe feeding doesn't open till 10 which is about when things get busy. There is a full service restraunt, gift shops, strollers you can rent, restrooms, snack cart offering 😋 sweet treats. There is also a train that will take you thorough the zoo and a carousel 🎠 There is also a playground *quite large for being in the zoo and picnic areasJoyffree

I love Grade Power and the attention given to each student. My son is 8 and was struggling with spelling, phonics and in general focus. While we tracked off this was the time to continue getting him help. It worked! During this time off and since he's back in school he's improved on his spelling tests and I've noticed a more confidence in him. The assesment test in the very beginning was very insightful as far as were he was and what needed to be worked on. The cool part he was working with Lindsey on different nouns and rhyms so went he went back to class they just happen to be working on the samething. I really like the way Lindsey and David worked with him and noticed even after a while he was laughing and had gained their trust. That's rare for this little guy he's very quite and shy. I could not wish for a better tutoring service for my child. I was an acquaintance of, and tutor for Stanley Kaplan himself so when my child had problems in school I was picky. They are doing exactly what they are supposed to be doing at Grade Power. They identify problems at the beginning. They have strong teachers. It is a small operation. My daughter struggled with distance learning. Her teacher was recommending holding her back in kindergarten. After enrolling her in Grade Power Learning my daughter started first grade knowing almost all her sight words and is reading effectively for her age group. I rented backpacking gear for a camping trip and it was great! The equipment was in great shape and top of the line. The backpack I got was very big so it fit all our equipment. What I like best is that the rental period is from Friday-Monday for most rentals meaning you can pick up your gear and take it with you for your trip on the weekend and return it on Monday. The prices can't be beat. There's free parking by the bookstore right in front of Peak Adventures, so it was easy to load up my equipment. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable, and gave me great tips for my backpacking trip. I will definitely rent again from Peak Adventures.E T

This is the place to rent snowshoes! You get four days for the same price that other places charge for one day. They also rent out MSR Denali Evo which are some of the lightest snowshoes on the market. Keep in mind, they don't have heel lifts, so they're not intended for ascending. The shop is located on Sac State's campus, but parking was easy with the multiple 30 minute spots within short walking distance. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Overall, great experience! By the way, the snowshoes worked great! I couldn't have summited Roundtop without them!Allclasher

I had the opportunity to go to a Yosemite camping trip Peak adventures was hosting with some of my friends and the staff was incredible. Ross, Karina, Mia, and Elena were really nice, supportive, and extremely knowledgeable about the activities we were doing and the area we were in. They also gave me great advice on camping gear that I didn’t even know was a necessity to new campers like myself. I cannot recommend Martucci Music enough! I've been taking voice lessons with Brianne for about a year. The amount of growth I've experienced in my voice and overall confidence are beyond anything I could've expected. Each lesson is a combination of technique-focus and performance, and you'll get to work on whatever styles or genres you're interested in. Brianne is so sweet, patient, and encouraging, and has a wealth of knowledge and experience to draw from. She has continually challenged me in the best ways, and I always walk out of a lesson feeling great. It's a highlight of my week any time I get to see her. I was a student of Brianne’s at Martucci Music from April 2019 through December 2021 and had a beautiful experience. Brianne was an excellent teacher. She created a learning space that was safe, attentive, collaborative, growth oriented, and fun. My voice now, as well as my relationship with it, compared to when I first started lessons with Brianne is vastly different. Brianne helped me discover my voice, how to use it, and how to improve it. You Ninjas are awesome! I started looking for STEM based after school programs for my 10 year old son and found Code Ninjas online. What appealed to me was their focus on STEM and the fact that they provide computer coding for kids that is fun and interesting. My son is in a STEM program in his school and they cover a lot of science, technology and engineering but they DON'T include coding in any capacity! In our technological society this is a skill that is universal across career paths. Every company needs a website, all kinds of products and services have apps, there is virtually no space unaffected by this. I had my nephews who live a few miles from where Code Ninjas operate from attend some lessons at the place. After a few days, they were already 'boasting' that they were now coders. I was never a girl who loved to work out. I know you have probably heard this one million times before: "Oh, I hated working out until I found this amazing place and now I feel awesome and I can't imagine not working out everyday!" As cliche and rehearsed as it sounds, however, it's actually the truth in regards to Fitsom Studios. I moved to Sacramento last year and when the new year started, I decided it was time for me to start working out in order to feel and look better. I drove past Fitsom everyday seeing their "Look Good Naked!" sign and I thought, "yeah, I wanna look good naked!" and so decided to join the craziness that is Fitsom. The entire staff has an insane enthusiasm for fitness and nutrition and I am being serious when I say that I have never looked or felt better. Not only is the staff welcoming and kind and knowledgable, but the fellow clients here at Fitsom are amazing! Fitsom is the best place to workout and I have turned into that girl who loves to workout every day (well, except Saturday and Sunday because, come on, that's just insane). So, drop on by! I was brought to Fitsom by a friend because she kept telling me how much she liked the place. I didn't have a gym at the time so I agreed. From the first time I walked in, the staff was so welcoming and laid back. I instantly felt the passion of the instructors, in particular Marco, the owner. I quickly realized this was not just a gym, this was a place where you not only got in shape, but you would improve your overall body health. The hands on, one on one approach to their teaching is awesome. You get so much individualized attention its hard not to be motivated and excited. They focus a lot on your body alignment and function through foam rolling before and after your workouts to help improve the general operation of all your muscles. They really encourage people to listen to their bodies, and not just crank out a workout. For someone who works 12 hours on their feet and has chronic body pains from years of athletics, this place is a breath of fresh air helping my body feel better everyday when I put in the time . I’m a 25 year old guy, and I was shocked at how much pain and tightness was in my body. It got to the point where I could hardly walk, so I went to Fitsom. I walked in to check it out, and the vibe is awesome! It’s very well designed, and it’s peaceful and relaxing just being there. The day I checked it out, I was explained all the options for moving forward, and I picked the 12 series, which is an in-depth system with one on one support. Ken helped me figure out not only what specific muscles in my body were tight and causing me pain, but he showed me how I could solve those issues for myself! Before Fitsom, I had tight and achy spots in my neck, my lower back, my hamstrings, and in 3 different spots on my feet. And now today, not one of those issues bother me. The Distance Learning program saved our school year! For two working parents the overseeing of the distance learning added additional stress during an already stressful time. We noticed our relationships were being pushed to the limits. The distance learning at Zen Martial arts allowed us to be supportive parents rather than the teacher and tech support and focus on our jobs. Not only has our daughter received the support she needed, she also had the benefit of other peers (at a safe distance and wearing masks), friends to eat lunch with, recess on an actual playground with equipment, and Martial Arts with Mr. Oliver after school. Mr. David is incredibly calm and patient and it is clear that he is inspired by kids and learning. Mr. Oliver is outstanding and a fantastic mentor to many children, teens and even grown adults. We immediately felt part of the karate community, which feels like a family. I wasn't looking for a karate instructor when I started karate classes with Sensei Oliver. I followed a good friend who had her own reasons for attending (that involved sons who also take classes from Sensei Oliver), into his adult beginner classes at Coloma Center. My friend had assured me that Sensei Oliver "just has a way about him" that fosters community and she was sure I would appreciate his approach and demeanor. She didn't even realize at the time that as a kid I'd taken karate classes from a man I'd feared and hated–had I decided to shop for instructors, I would have had a long list of requirements. Sensei Oliver would have met them all. As another friend with children in Sensei's class has said, "I heart Sensei Oliver." He has a genius for personalized instruction among students of varying levels that doesn't just address their skill needs but their broader, more holistic development as a student of Isshinryu karate, a training of the mind and character, as well as the body. Our family of 4 trains at Zen Martial and we can't recommend it highly enough. Pros: Every class balances physical exertion, practical skills, contemplation, and moral instruction (or reminders, depending on age). History is also a welcome frequent topic. We sometimes leave class a little bruised, but always feeling better than when we went in. Sensei Oliver clearly loves teaching all ages and all skills. He always offers insightful tips, a practice that is part of the culture at the dojo: everyone is sincerely friendly and helpful. Sensei Oliver cares very deeply about his charges and the larger community. When our youngest faced a bullying situation, Sensei sought him out, listened closely then offered practical advice and emotional support. Over the course of the evening, our son went from resigned to resolute. Cons: Will update the review when and if we encounter a negative. There is definitely some soreness from time to time, but that is to be expected (and isn't really a negative).Matthew George

Brookfield has just been an awesome & life changing experience for our son, who transferred in the middle of the 7th grade from one of the public schools in Folsom. We are happy for the reasons we chose Brookfield: a well balanced blend of stellar academic, extracurricular and social opportunities. The curriculum is a grade level ahead and the teachers complement the program well ! Some of them are exemplary: English, Social studies and PE to mention a few. It has been a rewarding experience and I have nothing but gratitude for the way it shaped our son's future. As the Technology Teacher at this school, I am amazed at how hard the students willingly work to understand concepts years ahead of the average time. Elementary school ages are learning Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint. We have a special Tech Academy class as an elective for middle school ages where students learn how to build a pc from scratch, remove a virus, build websites, and so much more! I started training in Shotokan when I was 7 and after achieving Shodan and competing nationally through high school, I hung up my gi and belt in college because of other life priorities. Fast forward over 25 years and I found Tokon Martial Arts in Natomas. Tokon is a traditional, JKA based Shotokan martial arts dojo that emphasizes technique and basic fundamentals like "higite" and spirit. I joined about 6 months ago with the same enthusiasm and excitement I had when I was a 7 year old. Our entire family has started as well. So Covid provided challenges for many. For the Owners, Sensei Marcus and Sensei Christina, they have persevered by offering smaller classes and utilizing technology to have virtual "distance learning" with live streaming zoom classes. There is even karatecoaching.com available which I find so valuable to view and review when I try to remember which steps came in the kata or kihon drills we practiced in class. There is a competition track called ECP that many are involved in which is dedicated to competition specific kata or kumite. For some, achieving black belt is the end goal in martial arts. For me, it is way of life and just the beginning now as I have found to understand more of the "theory" behind the application. I am honored to be a student of Sensei Marcus and Sensei Christina. We feel so lucky to be with Tokon Martial Arts during this pandemic. Sensei Marcus and Sensei Christina were very quick to get live online classes up and running. Not only are the classes abundant, productive and engaging, but they've also incorporated access to additional world-class training. Of course, we miss seeing everyone at the dojo and nothing can replace the energy of the in-dojo classes… but our daughters (12yo, black belts) are keeping their skills polished and are progressing in many areas. Tokon has also started social-distance outdoor classes, which we plan on attending in the fall. They have classes for all ages from littles (4/5yo) to adults. Tokon martial arts is a traditional Shotokan karate dojo.I have been training at Tokon Martial arts for almost 2 years now and I love training there. Sensei Marcus and Sensei Christina are the best. They go into detail and break everything down so it makes sense to everyone. The Tokon community is so great and friendly. Everyone is like one big family. I love competing as a part of Tokon. Sensei Marcus and Sensei Christina make everything a learning opportunity . Everyone is so positive and cheerful. Everyone supports each other and it’s a great community, new comers are always welcomed. The sempai s are also very helpful, they always help the lower belts and correct them. If your ok with old and dirty, then you should be good here, most of the staff are friendly, in a kinda fake way, some staff will straight ignore you as long as you are a member with a year contract. In my opinion , membership is over populated, especially when the young ones are out of school, can become a bit rough. The inside pool has two lanes for reservation, most times are unavailable, the other lanes are come first, ect good luck with that. A hot tub is available but members have been known to hog it up for an hour! Just received notice membership fee will increase due to janitorial, that is laughable. I am not renewing membership.A Young

We joined this club initially so my son could continue to learn to swim. He was on the swim team last year and what a great experience! The families were very supportive and really want each swimmer to do their best. My son loves to go spend a few hours in the pool on most summer weekends. They do have lifeguards on duty during these times. This club has quite a bit to offer. They have a workout room, fitness classes, tennis courts, basketball, indoor and outdoor pool, summer camp for the kids, and a small snack bar. Love this place they have just about everything, the indoor pool is a plus and the tennis courts are always nice, not to mention the workers are always super nice and friendly! They offer team workouts for different age groups and the gym equipment is nice. They provide child care while you work out and they have pickleball courts and basketball hoops.Harold Estevez

My LOVE for the ultrasound program at Gurnick is way beyond. – from the teachers to the challenging curriculum. All the faculty members of sonography program integrates with compassion into their teaching standards, emphasizes the importance of values, and builds leaders through each of their classes and lessons. Sonography program is not an easy program. You have to be passionate about working in this field with patient care and being proactive. It’s takes a lot of hard work and dedication and determination. The director and the professor’s made sure that each of us are successful in this program. Though it is a private school, I had to work hard for this program and be successful And every member from financial aid to coordinators to front desk made sure that we all are given help and guidance when we need it. Teachers are passionate about seeing their students succeed. They are so great about sharing moments of pride they see within us. I love my ultrasound program at Gurnick. Definitely would recommend this school. I am a current student in the ultrasound program and I have gained so much knowledge for the time I have been there thus far. Instructors go above and beyond to make sure the material is taught well and share new skills to make sure we are the best at our jobs, for ourselves and our patients. Jorge, the program director is always finding diverse techniques to make learning a fun experience. The curriculum is awesome as well as the environment. I went in not knowing what I looking at on a “black and white screen” and now I can point out all of the anatomy as well as complete diagnostic exams. If you’re interested, I definitely recommend speaking to Jorge, he always puts the student’s best interests first!Jassamyn Shergill

I am a current Ultrasound student at Gurnick Academy and I am pleased with my decision to apply to this program. This is NOT an easy program, it will challenge you in many ways. However, you are given plenty of support and resources to help you succeed. I have yet to have a day where we are not able to practice scanning, which is very impressive compared to other programs. All instructors are experienced sonographers that set clear expectations for student performance. The director of the Ultrasound Program, Jorge, will go above and beyond for his students while preparing us for the field and anything it may throw at us. I would recommend this program to anyone looking for a serious and successful career in ultrasound.Olivia Smith
