Review Summary
Admittedly I was skeptical about private school when I first started looking into it. I created my list of "tough questions" and was ready to find the system and schools weakness. I started looking into Waterford two years prior to my son starting Kindergarten. I started reaching out to the Admissions team and threw my questions at them. Each question was seen as valid and worthwhile of a thoughtful answer. They took the time to answer my questions promptly and thoroughly. After my initial questions were answered, I decided to go and take a tour of the school during one of their open houses. I was sure this was where I would find the school's weakness and expose the reason why it just wasn't going to work for us. I presented my final question and sure enough, they answered it thoroughly and thoughtfully and I had nothing left as to why this school wasn't going to work out. The tour more than exceeded what I was looking for and everything fell into place that this was right school for our family. Since my initial inquiry, I now have two children at Waterford and soon a third. From the Administrative team to the faculty to the recess and lunch staff, my expectations not only have been met but have been greatly exceeded. I have found a wonderful community of supportive families and a school that really puts children first with their whole development in mind: character, academic, emotional and physical. I love the specialists that teach them science, art, music and dance in experiential, hands on ways. Waterford continues to be a place where I can ask tough questions and seek support and they consistently respond in a thoughtful and thorough way. If you are considering private school, I can't recommend Waterford enough. It is more than a liberal arts school. They are a community that wants to collaborate with you and your family to help your child achieve their potential and discover their greatness.Kristin Hodson
After moving from the East Coast to Utah eight years ago, we were looking at private schools and received the recommendation of Waterford from a colleague whose sons had attended from Preschool through Upper School graduation. When the time came for our daughter to start school, we enrolled her in Waterford’s preschool class, and could not have made a better decision for our family. That daughter is now enjoying first grade, our younger daughter is currently in PreK-4, and we look forward to our son starting preschool in a year. In making our decision, we visited other schools in the area, and talked with families of children at those schools and also those at Waterford. It was important for us to find a school that offered a diverse group of students and families, with a challenging academic environment, that also cared for each student and fostered individual growth. Waterford has surpassed our expectations in every way. The students are remarkable, and are consistently raising the bar for one another. The qualifications and experiences the teachers bring to the classroom are outstanding. The administration sets an enthusiastic tone for the school and demonstrates genuine care for each student and family. Finally, the campus – reminiscent of the New England campuses we enjoyed – provides a beautiful and safe environment for our children to learn. There is certainly more than one path to a great education, but for our family Waterford has absolutely been the right choice, and we feel so fortunate to be a part of its community.Heather Scott
We LOVE this school, its remarkable faculty, leaders and the parent community. The Waterford School is an amazing institution solidly grounded on the principles of a liberal arts education. We have four children and each has been enriched by their own personal experiences at at Waterford. Our college student still refers to her Waterford classmates with awe. She is loving her college experience, but she finds a true grounding and inspiration in the quality of people she connected with while at Waterford. She also compares every teacher to her Waterford teachers, they have set a high caliber bar. Fans of public school, we originally came to Waterford for what we thought would be just one year, after moving to Utah. We quickly fell in love with the depth and breadth of the academic program and the arts. Waterford is an institution that is constantly refining, building vertical curriculum and thinking forward. If you are studying the planets in science, often history, math and art will correlate. With a 32-year history, the school is on solid footing and looks forward with vigor to an exciting future. We are thrilled to be a part of that future!Kristin Stockham

"Utah Valley University is the largest public university in the state of Utah, and one of a few in the nation offering a dual-mission model that combines the rigor and richness of a first-rate teaching university with the openness and vocational programs of a community college. The unique model, which focuses on student success, engaged learning, rigorous academic programs, and faculty-mentored research, is transforming higher education by making it more affordable and accessible to students of all backgrounds."
Review Summary
School here is nice and if you need something cheap, but UVU reinforces the comment that "University education is becoming less valuable." Half my professors were either teaching here their first time, didn't speak English, or had no expertise in their subject. I passed 2 years of credits by watching videos and drawing pictures during class: not because I'm smart, but because there was no content. Like in high school, many of the professors have 30% percent of their grade centered around attendance. Not participation, but attendance. So yes, I ignored class because everything I needed for an A was provided online. I'm typing this now during Philosophy class, and I am not missing anything. Books are hardly ever used but are "required" according to the professors. They gather dust on my shelf. Most problems here need to be fixed across the nation not just UVU, but I am a very frustrated student in my twenties because I don't know where my money is going. Teachers aren't happy with pay and all have second jobs. The building and resources are really really nice but I rarely need to use them since the internet was invented. UVU in general education has the same quality as Khan Academy except here, there is a physical address they want you to come to. There is a good range of food options but mostly crowded into the same building. Parking is ridiculous and there is no reason to pay $90 a year for the clustered insanity that the school created. Use the darn money to hire a civil engineer for God's sake. Once you pass general education and focus in to better classes, the rooms get nicer and the teaching quality doubles. Don't come here if you're not willing to graduate. Location is fine other than the city planning on the busiest road outside. If you're coming from the south east your drive will be dangerous, traffic is terrible and construction has been in effect for 4 years now. Very annoying. Train station is very convenient and is likely your best choice if you have a transportation method to your nearest station. Students who work feel punished because rent in the area is high, and pay low. Scholarships are handed to those without jobs first, those who aren't working for rent and tuition are the ones handed money from the school. Afternoon/Night classes are poor in options and schedule so working at a volatile job is ever more of a punishment. (Data from a few friends and strangers) Many activities, but the activities most advertised in my buildings were focused for helping women, about guest speakers, for the LGBT community, or cost $15. So I've never been to one, though free lectures and speeches are common. Overall, UVU focuses on medium-to-low education and welcoming everyone with open arms. But once you're here, you may want to transfer to BYU or drop out entirely.Isaac Benge
Coming here was the best decision I have ever made. Every single professor cares about my learning and the fact that the average class size is 23 (I’ve never had a class over 25) makes it so my teachers know me, know my name, know what type of student I am, and some even came to my wedding! I have also been incredibly impressed with the resources. You would have to TRY to fail at UVU, because they truly make it so easy to succeed. From job resources, free tutoring, professor office hours, financial aid and scholarships, and everything in between I honestly feel like every single person I talk to wants me to succeed. The campus is amazing and INDOORS like seriously it is the best part of campus. Shorts in the winter and pants in the summer. Sure parking can be hard, but you are 100% going to find that at any university and it is really only bad after 10am so if you have classes before that you will be fine. The social life is great and the activities are fun and well attended. Free food at all times and tons of on campus food options. I honestly feel like the education I received is worth a million times more than what the tuition is (one of the lowest in the nation for a university). UVU focuses on Engaged Learning, or learning by doing, and most my classes don’t even have textbooks or tests, just projects and resume building it’s amazing. Add that to the fact that it is open enrollment and you can see why it is the largest university in the state. Seriously. Come take a tour at least and see how awesome UVU is.Justine Rupprecht
In all honesty do NOT go here, if you have a better option do not come to this college, it is a over glorified high school. They aren't too expensive which is nice, but they charge many other ways, you must pay to take tests if you are not there the first day, they offer no flexibility when taking classes especially if you are working full time. The professors are 50/50 you either get great ones that work with you, answer quickly to your emails, and are awesome. Or you get awful ones that only two kids pass their class, they will put you on academic probation which I don't get because I am paying to go to school here, so why does it bother them if I failed one class because the professor was awful. In all honesty if you have a better option DO NOT GO HERE! I have never been so frustrated with a school before in my life.Kyra McMillan

RMU completely changed my LIFE! I have made lifetime friends, and we have been there for each other not only through school-related things but through everything else that life consists of. Career-wise, I went from going to work every day and being satisfied just where I was to having a desire for growth and excellence in my profession. I enjoy learning more about my craft now and researching the very best evidence-based practices for my clients. During school, I have received several certifications that have increased my knowledge, and many of them I learned about from my classmates. Now, I am the only SLP in my entire state to provide one particular swallowing treatment and one of about seven people to provide two other treatments. In addition, RMU was essential in me learning how to start a private practice and improved my confidence in myself that I can actually run one! Now, I am running a successful practice with five independent contractors. Also, I am in a position where I am almost ready to transition to doing my private practice full time, which will increase my salary even more while having more time with my family. RMU is a perfect place to jumpstart anyone looking to surpass all their career and life goals! I highly recommend RMU!!! Glinda Mauldin, ClinSciD CCC-SLPGlinda Mauldin
My experience at RMUoHP was amazing. It began with my inquiry and application to the program! From the very beginning, every interaction with all staff members and faculty has always been very professional and positive! All inquires and requests were handled expeditiously. From the educational aspect…all of the faculty was stellar! I learned so much from each and every professor. The professors were very accommodating and supportive during some times of personal turmoil. Dr. Jan Reese was amazing and made learning the technology seamless! Dr. McClary has been an awesome educator and mentor throughout this entire program. She was always only a text or call away! Drs. Shibinski & Martin really did a wonderful job teaching the fundamentals of becoming an educator and helping me establish a strong foundation…their step ladder approach helped me understand so clearly. Dr. Rust has also been instrumental in my success…it all started from a message received from Dr. Rust via LinkedIn! He has done a great job putting together this program and faculty. As I stated previously…it has been a great experience from beginning to end!!! Leticia Camacho, PA-C DMSc-Cohort 4 New York Presbyterian/Hospital for Special Surgery New York City, NYLeticia Camacho
I entered RMUoHP to do one thing: obtain my doctorate in speech-language pathology. I left with so much more. From the moment I made the first phone call to consider applying, I felt like I was joining a family. RMUoHP welcomed me and supported me in this manner to whatever level I needed throughout the experience! The quality of the instruction and content is excellent. The program is rigorous so throughout the experience I was challenged while gaining professionally credible skills. My knowledge and skills in evidence-based practice sky-rocketed. The number of tools to critically analyze research, and to critically analyze the evidence to make professionally sound decisions for my practice was unexpected but professionally and personally enriching! I leave the program as a new, more knowledgeable professional who will positively impact the children, families, and other professionals with whom I work! Thank you RMUoHP for the experience of a lifetime! I came in with one goal and left having fulfilled many new ones I discovered along the way! Lisa M. "The BYU Museum of Paleontology was built in 1976 to prepare, display, and house the rock and dinosaur fossils collected by Dr. James A. Jensen and his crews. Over decades of field work, Dr. Jensen and crews gathered fossils from locations in Utah, Colorado, Montana, and Wyoming. For years, the vast collections of the unprepared field jackets were stored under the BYU football stadium. Now, with a 5,000 square-foot addition, and years of laboratory preparation, nearly all of the fossils are kept at the museum in the collections room."
Review Summary
I go to this museum often with my children and we love it! A few things to know before you go are: 1) it is a very small museum and if you rush through, you'll be done in 5-10 minutes. I recommend talking to your kids or guests about taking your time at every display. I ask my kids to look at the teeth or claws of each dinosaur, etc. This way your tour of the museum will take 30-45 minutes and may be more worth the trip. 2) There is no admission charge, but donations are helpful: $1 per adult and 50 cents per child, I think. 3) They also have some very cool rocks / minerals on display, a large window to watch the students work on bones, clean restrooms, water fountain, and an active Facebook page if you're interested.Adrianne Erickson
This museum isn’t too large but it is really cool. Entrance is free and they have several unique Utah dinosaurs on display. They have several replicas that are available to touch and feel (great for little kids) as well as real bones behind glass. They have full skeleton replicas that are great for pictures. This is a working museum. There is a large glass window where you can see into the workshop. We talked with one of the employees who works as a paleontologist which was very interesting!! This is a great activity.Caylor Hafen
The museum is really small (like 30 mins to go through it all pretty well), but it it's free (they do have a donation box), quiet, and clean. There are several large dinosaur skeletons and displays of ancient creatures in a variety of sizes. We can typically see somebody working on some bones through the large observation window, which my kids enjoy. Note: I don't that it is open on the weekend, and it closes at like 4 or 5pm on weekdays, so don't plan on an evening/weekend visit.Kira Joy

We are huge fans of Thanksgiving point and would recommend it to anyone! We’ve had a family pass for almost a year now and it has been worth every single penny. I feel like there are so many experiences to be hard with one family pass and the family passes only $275. We have been able to do so many fun things for absolutely no cost because once you buy the family pass all of the extra activities that Thanksgiving point does throughout the year is included in the family pass. All the staff members are extremely kind and the facilities are very well-kept and tidy. The food is also really good as well as the ice cream parlor. If you’re not a member of Thanksgiving point and you have little children, I highly, highly recommend that you look into getting a family pass. We enjoy all of the facilities included in the pass year round and it keeps our toddler busy and tired out!Ally Hunter
We had a lot of fun visiting a couple of spots around Thanksgiving point for my son's birthday. We loved the farm animals, the butterflies and the dino fossils. The only thing we didn't enjoy was the amount of unsupervised kids running around: scaring the animals, stepping on butterflies and throwing sand everywhere at the little kids. It's upsetting to see how stressed the animals and workers looked… not sure why parents would allow their kids to treat animals so unkindly.Jenna Schultz
Always enjoy the Tulip Festival at Ashton Gardens. I am impressed with their ability to maintain such a large property and make it inviting for all every year. I also learned that most kids really like the two animatronic dinosaurs that have been placed near the entrance and are being allowed to eat the tulips. Of course, I did hear one of two kids start to cry when the sound effects recording started playing. I'm sure I will be back next year.Tom Allen

We had a birthday party for our 3 and 4 year old. We had kids from 2 all the way up to 11 and they were all super engaged and super excited for each step. As parents we were able to step back and just enjoy the fun the kids were having without having a mess to clean or making sure all the kids were entertained and safe. The employees were great with the kids! They entertained but were also firm when safety called for it without hurting feelings which isn’t easy! The party rooms are pretty spacious and we loved the privacy they offered for the presents and cake.We were super impressed overall and felt like it was money well spent and super reasonable for what we got. We would 100% have another party here but I will also be bringing my littles back for some other activities as well! Thank you Little Beakers!Cera Burnell
May have an amazing experience for our 7 and 9 year olds. They both love experiments at home, but this place takes it to a whole different level. They have everything organized and explained through a binder and the kids could do the experiments they chose. One hour is not enough! We did 2.5 hours and that was perfect. I am so excited that this exists for kiddos who are into hands on learning. Helpful staff, they clean up after you, and the kids left with new neural pathways built.Amy Hatlan
This was THE coolest birthday party. My son and his friends had a lot of fun and the facilities are great for bday parties: private rooms all set up but also the laboratory right next door. Another thing to keep in mind is THE STAFF!! Having knowledgeable employees can go a long way in a normal laboratory, but when its filled with 7-year-olds, it takes an extra special skill and a lot of patience.Patrick K

Review Summary
My daughter started taking Irish Dance from Harp in February. Not only has she has loved it, but I have loved it. I wanted to have an atmosphere that would build her self confidence in dance and not make her feel overwhelmed. Aubree and Sarah have been the best teachers, showing love and patience while they teach. She has been to three Fies' and an Oireachtas this year, and has grown so much. During one Feis my daughter kept forgetting her steps, and Aubree was so loving and supportive of her. I didn't have to do anything. I love how she genuinely cares for these girls. The other girls in this company are wonderful as well. I have loved watching the friendships blossom. I would definitely recommend Harp Irish dance Company to anyone looking to take Irish dance.Tracy Ware
HARP provides a great experience for many age groups and experience levels. There is a great family feel to this studio. Aubree is very aware of the costs of having multiple children involved in multiple activities and does what she can to keep the cost down yet, provide a great product. My daughter has learned so much in the past two year and is progressing quickly. Aubree provides many opportunities for performance and competition through out the year. If your looking for a Irish Dance Studio, check out HARP.Julie Wilford
We love Harp Irish Dance! I wanted my daughters to be involved in dance, and Irish Dance provides them with a traditional, modest style of dance and modest costumes. They have loved the opportunities to dance in adjudicated competitions (feis) as well. Harp Irish Dance is such a fun group to be a part of from the other students to the teachers. My girls have made so many good friends in this wholesome, fun environment.Erica Thompson

"Revolutionizing legal education. Dedicated to library liberation. Addicted to innovation. Crushendo's innovative review methodology helps students pass the bar exam, the MPRE, and law school exams as painlessly as possible. Sure, Crushendo's bar review and other courses give you the normal review stuff, like flashcards and practice questions. But Crushendo offers so much more. Get ready to flip the way you cram for exams upside down forever."
Review Summary
I 100% recommend Crushendo for bar prep or during law school. The program gives you the most important information in a way that is easy to understand and memorize. You also have lifetime access to the material which is a huge benefit as well. The audios are about an hour long and during that you get a comprehensive review of the subject with mnemonics to help you memorize it all. I was able to study while I went on walks, sat by the pool, or worked out. I think that was a great benefit as well, as I was able to get outside and stay active and mentally healthy during a high stress time. On my first bar attempt I used one of the big name bar prep companies. I followed their study plan but I always felt behind and like there would be no way for my to memorize all of the needed information. With Crushendo, I felt confident going into the exam, I felt great about what I had memorized, and my score increased a ton because of it. I also participated in tutoring from Adam, and again, it was great choice. I did 5 hour long sessions. We would meet once a week and it helped me stay on top of the study plan and stay positive while studying. Usually for the first half of our sessions we would review some of my practice essays, and then for the last half we would go over any questions that came up during the week and work on practice questions. Working with Adam was great. He has a ton of great advice and information to give. Price wise, I’m pretty sure the total UBE package and my tutoring was still cheaper than buying from a big bar prep company. You may feel nervous going with a newer bar prep company, and the program doesn’t necessarily have all the bells and whistles that others had, but I found it didn’t matter at all. I’m so glad Crushendo was recommended to me and I went with them, I really don’t think I would have passed if it wasn’t for this program!MacKenzie Potter
I highly recommend Crushendo. I took the Nevada Bar Exam and used one of the big companies to prepare for that exam. After passing the Nevada Bar Exam I began practicing law in Las Vegas. When I decided to take the Utah Bar Exam I knew that I would need to take another course in order to pass. I felt overwhelmed because I did not have the time to study after work that many courses require. A friend told me about Crushendo, so I started listening on my commute, while I worked out, etc… I would also spend about two hours a day reading the outlines and memorizing every mnemonic. I was shocked how quickly Crushendo helped me memorize and retain the information. I'm happy to report that Crushendo helped me feel prepared and ultimately pass the Utah exam while allowing me to fulfil my responsibilities as a husband, father, and while working as a full time attorney.Burke Williamson
I highly recommend this bar prep course. As an attorney practicing in one state for several years, I attempted to take the Uniform Bar Exam using some borrowed and older bar prep materials to save money. That didn't work out so well for me. After an unsuccessful attempt, I purchased Crushendo and followed their study plan. I went in to my second attempt at the UBE with much more confidence and with a significantly improved plan for writing essay responses and answering the MBE questions. I needed to score 266 in my state and I scored a 280.Nathan Holloway

Review Summary
We love Discovery Tree! My daughter is always happy to be there and comes home in a good mood and talking all about her day. I love being able to peek in at their app throughout the day to see what was served for meals and how much she ate, if she cooperated with taking a nap, activities they did, photos of their day, etc. They have a good schedule that fosters learning, play, rest, and eating, which I think really helps set the kids up to have a good day and know what to expect. My daughter loves to talk about what they learned, her teachers, the yummy food, and all her friends. She’s gone from emotional and unmotivated in the mornings, to excitedly pointing out her school and chomping at the bit to go. I am so glad we chose Discovery Tree to take her to, it is more than worth the extra drive we make from Provo. Thank you!!Reese Brinck
We’ve been with DTA for 2.5 years now! We are super happy with it. It is pricier than other daycares and we have sometimes struggled to know whether we should switch to save money. However, when it comes down to it the quality of care our son receives makes spending an extra $100-$200/month worth it for us. We know he is safe, getting fed good meals, and that he is learning a lot, that he has good friends and high-quality teachers who remember him and care about him. The only time we had a little bit of trouble was mostly because our son was being insanely stubborn about potty training, but we communicated his needs to his teacher and she was responsive and supportive of our wishes for him, which we really appreciated. I recommend it to anyone who is looking for a daycare and will continue to do so.Camille Messick
After looking at other preschools Discovery Tree in Springville was much nicer and more professional looking than the others. The added accessibility and communication through their app is awesome. Being able to pay on it and check on your child’s progress through the day is really helpful and reassuring (you got her to nap?! Awesome!). The daily emails with how the day went are also helpful and often come with pictures of your child doing some activity during the day as well are awesome too! So far we love them and are happy with our decision!David Brinck

Wow! Where to begin, this place is AMAZING! I, like many parents, don't love the idea of leaving my kids in daycare but, unfortunately, this is the world Millennials have to deal with. This place will take such good care of your children. We get photos, updates, and other great messages from their teachers letting us know how are kids are doing all day. I feel safe with my children there and I know they are getting the best kind of care. You can tell they really love the kids. My children don't even complain when I drop them off, they just love being there. On top of all of this, they follow the Montessori method, with is the best way any young child can learn and develop. No better option than Inquisitive Minds!Austin Lopez
I toured a few schools before deciding on Inquisitive Minds and truly nothing compares. I love everything about the school. The teachers are kind and caring and take time to get to know their students. Their curriculum is very unique and cover topics that typical preschools do not cover. My daughter has a nut allergy and they take extra precautions to ensure her safety. My daughter absolutely loves school and has learned so much. What a great investment! We are so grateful we have an enriching and safe place to take her to. Thank you inquisitive minds for a five star experience!Rachel James
I did so much research and tours before I found this gem đź’Ž As soon as we walked in to tour the facilities I fell in love! It's so clean and organized. There's not an excess of toys to overstimulate my kid. They have the kids wear no shoes (if they'd like). I love the app where we get regular notifications and photos of our child throughout the day. The teachers are sweet and quick to respond when I have questions or concerns. I know they are educating my child as well, it's fun to see her come home and we find she learns some new way to communicate or do things.Jenna D

"The vast majority of individuals fall short of their fitness goals because they lack appropriate consistency and intensity in their routine. Sadly, this failure begins to result in a loss of confidence and energy levels, eventually trickling into other areas of their life. That is why we approach fitness as a sport. When people score their workouts and post them to a public leaderboard, their results skyrocket. RxFIT exists because when people train like athletes, their health improves. Our coaches are experts in personal training, nutrition, and group fitness. Book a "No-Sweat Intro" with one of our coaches in order to receive your "fitness prescription". That same coach will then help hold you accountable to the plan."
Review Summary
I've been attending RxFit Provo for 6 months and have absolutely loved my experience. Prior to ever setting foot in a group class, I spent 6 onboarding workouts with the owner of the gym as my personal guide to the exercises! If that isn't a class-act move, I don't know what is! Mark's kindness and attentiveness truly set the tone for the my confidence moving forward with the process. As someone recovering from trauma, this has been a perfect, personal, and empowering tool for my furthered healing. I've felt myself becoming increasingly comfortable with actually listening to my body as an information center through this practice, which has been so rewarding. I've also never been very athletic; every coach I've worked with has helped me tailor the workouts to my skill level without even the smallest implication of shame. To top everything else off, I have hemiplegic migraines that can be triggered by too-rigorous exercise. Every coach has made absolutely sure that I am cared for throughout every group class (and all keep my ultimate health in mind right along with me as we work out)! Marvelously, this is not the place for bloated fitness platitudes and shame-based, impersonal, "just discipline yourself better" training that so many gyms tout as the necessary track for results. The heart behind this gym (coaches and members included) is what's made this a safe place for me to walk the path of coming home to myself. Any frequent, self-caring gym goer can attest to the glorious high of learning what your body can really do. Now, I am no exception. But, Tyre, Darren, Skyler, and Mark have treated me like family from the moment I walked in. Thank you for helping me feel so special and capable, everyone! What a rare and wonderful thing I've found here!Catherine Rowe
I started going here about 2 months after I got pregnant and stayed until the day the baby was born! I loved how the coaches made you feel like you mattered and kept the environment super positive. It's easier working out with a group and, especially with being pregnant, the coaches (I basically went every morning when Tyre was the coach– she is awesome!!) were really helpful in modifying the workouts to what my body was capable of doing and also supportive in the amount of work I felt I was able to do, so I was able to listen to my body and take it slower if I needed. Highly recommend if you're looking to get super fit in an environment that pushes you, teaches you correct mechanics, and listens to your needs with some fun coaches and friendly group.Suzy Robertson
I love this gym!! I’ve been self conscious and hesitant about working out for the past couple years after I got out of shape a little bit, and the coaches here have completely turned that around for me! Not only have I seen results after my 3 months here, but my confidence is completely different since I started. Classes have athletes of every level, and the coaches do a great job making sure everyone is on the same page and working to the best of their personal abilities. Ive never paid for group fitness or personal training and I was a little hesitant, but I am so happy that I put the money aside for this every month because it is worth every penny!Madi Walker

Review Summary
After the last couple of years being so chaotic I was looking for something to ground me but am not typically into the vibe of yoga studios. I came here with my sister-in-law and loved the mix 3B offers. Every class I get a great workout and additionally have the opportunity to focus on listening to my mind and body. I leave feeling empowered and strong both physically and mentally. I was once a dancer but have long since lost any hint of flexibility. I have seen so much progress over the last two and a half months and am amazed at how strong, toned, and flexible I’ve become in a short amount of time. All of the teachers have been so helpful and encouraging as well! If you want to feel supported (including extremely helpful hands on adjustments) in your practice I’d recommend attending Tayler, McKenzie, or Lauren’s classes. If you want to be challenged, feel empowered, and get an amazing workout I would recommend McKenzie or Cece’s classes. If you are just starting out and are looking for helpful break downs in your practice I would recommend Tayler, Lauren, or Gigi’s classes. I typically go to the same classes every week and have had excellent experiences with the instructors I’ve taken from (which is where my recommendations come from) but I’m sure all of the other instructors are also great! Would definitely recommend the studio to anyone who is looking to feel more confident and grounded.Kenna Asay
Today was first time doing a yoga session ever and my first time to 3B yoga and it was an amazing experience. It has a nice atmosphere and a small store in front. You can rent a yoga mat from them or bring your own. The instructor we had today was amazing! She was very knowledgeable and kind. She would jump in and help on occasion, but not always which was a good balance for me. The class was rigorous and adaptable to whatever your needs and abilities are. I would highly recommend this place and I do plan to return every week!Ben Perkins
3B has been a saving grace for me during this pandemic. I love all the instructors and staff. I’ve done yoga here and there growing up but at 3B I’ve learned how to actually practice yoga CORRECTLY. I’ve heard of the many benefits that yoga can have on your mental and physical well-being but since going to 3B I’ve finally be able to notice those differences in my well-being because I’ve learned how to actually properly practice yoga.Hailey Krey

Review Summary
We absolutely love Little Geniuses! My 18 month old daughter has been attending since they opened in Pleasant Grove and by Day 2, she would start clapping when we arrived in the parking lot and reaching out to her teachers when we walked into the building. The owners, directors, and teachers are all incredible. They are kind, patient, and have become such wonderful role models for my baby to look up to and spend her time with. Another highlight is they use this awesome app to continuously keep in contact with us about their activities, what they are eating, nap times, diaper changes, and even send pictures! Those pictures make my Mom heart so much lighter during the work day. I tell all my friends to check out Little Geniuses, my little family loves them so much and I am forever grateful that we found them! 100000/10 if you’re looking for daycare in this area, this is the place!Whitney Ugoh
This daycare/preschool has provide a lot of curriculum, care, great environment for children to learn and prepare for kindergarten! The staff made sure that the Procare app has been provided to communicate with the parents seeing the post of what the child has been up to through out the day. I have two children that goes here and I’ve seen tremendous progress in them. I have had amazing experiences with them where I felt it was nothing but so positive!! The center opens and close from 6:30-5:30pm from Monday-Friday, always had wonderful job working with the staffs schedule. The owner are incredibly loving, cares for families, and very responsive with everyone’s feedbacks, this center is definitely warming welcome for everyone and I highly recommend this daycare/preschool!!krysta Kiraly
This is a daycare center and preschool. Creating a safe and loving environment is their priority, along with helping the kids learn and grow so that they can be prepared for kindergarten. They use an excellent curriculum, tailored for every age full of fun activities and crafts. They are open 6:30-5:30 M-F and do a great job working with people's schedules. I highly, recommend this daycare, I've had so many wonderful positive experiences with them. The owners are loving, caring, and very responsive to feedback. They even use the Procare app, so that parents can stay updated on their child's activities throughout the day.Haley Bono

Review Summary
Utah Parent Center is a great resource for anyone with a family member with special needs. They were there for us over 20 years ago when our son was born with a rare syndrome. Through the years when we have encountered roadblocks whether it was with the school district or finding services they were there to give helpful advice or guide us to appropriate resources and people. I have referred several people to their office for help. I have taken advantage of classes on guardianship and other things that would benefit our family. This past weekend I was able to share information from their website on an issue another family was dealing with. Utah is very blessed to have this resource in our state. Highly recommend The Utah Parent Center and their amazing staff and volunteers!Sue D
I reached out for an advocate to attend a meeting for my child to simply express the magnitude that a simple mistake could affect an indivudual with special needs. According to the emails, this center will only allow an advocate if it pertains to an IEP. Nothing more. All I got was resources for an 'Inclusion Project' and not what I specifically requested. In the other email, last I didnt get a response. I felt no kind of support from this organization. Appalling. Disappointing. I will NEVER reach out again. In response: I'd appreciate if someone reached out again as I didn't have all my questions answered per my last email.Krystle F.
The UPC has well trained people waiting to assist families in navigating school policies for IEP and 504 meetings, transition options, and more. They offer classes monthly on disability related classes that you can attend online or in person. Just get on the mailing list to get the links. Call them to find out who the consultant for your geographic location is. They work with districts, charter and any school. I've worked with two consultants in meetings and have loved both. I've had calls with others when mine were on vacation and I've never been disappointed with their knowledge and skill level.Tessa UW

This is the only place I trust with my kids! They have live video feed, live updates on what/when they eat, are changed, napped, etc. The teachers are kind and my kids love them and care always happy when they come home. Even my son who has emotional special needs is treated amazing. I was scared to be away from my kids, but they are by far the best company and I truly believe they treat my kids how I would treat them. I love all my kids teachers and can’t thank them enough for their patience, love, and time that they give to my children. I’d recommend this company to anyone and would never go anywhere else! Even on the rare occasion I have a concern, they go above and beyond to make sure I feel comfortable as a parent that my kids are taken care of, and do so immediately. Very impressive! They have a great summer camp program, curriculum, food menu, daily schedule, and their staff are trained very well. I feel confident my kids get better and more consistent care than I could give them myself at home, it’s just that good! They clean their toys daily I believe and the facilities are always beautifully kept. I’ve never gone in and felt like anything was out of place, let alone dirty. They also know how to properly handle breast milk and are great about accommodating pumping mothers. They’d call me to let me know how my baby was doing with a bottle and try endless combinations of nipples, flows, brands, and temperatures to find something that my son would take. I seriously love them. Also, if your kid has a hard time napping they have the magic touch! At home my kids takes forever to go down, but he listens right away at daycare. The teachers must know witchcraft or something lol. They are amazing at handling shy kids and ones with separation anxiety. I’d check the cameras to find the teachers doing something special for my kids when they are sad or nervous, bringing them treats, and cuddling them throughout the day. My oldest craves physical touch and they knew exactly how to make him feel loved and at home while away from me. Bottom line – take your kids here. They’ll thrive and you’ll have peace of mind that they’re treated well.Brandon Baer
I love A to Z Building Blocks. We live about 15 minutes away and I don’t mind the commute because they are great. The teachers make it so worth it and it’s a huge relief as a working mother to find people you can trust to leave your children with. The teachers we have are always thinking of fun things to do with the kids, for example, they painted pumpkins for October and they pull them in a wagon/go on a walk when the weather is nice. During the summer they have daily field trips (e.g. aquarium) and plan different activities like cooking, crafting, show and tell, etc. I personally love that my kids aren’t in front of a screen all day. They also offer preschool through Alpine School District and they were willing to let ABA therapists from an outside company come in. I definitely appreciate that they sanitize the toys every night and they have cameras parents can watch at anytime. We also get a daily report emailed to us once they are checked out and the teachers are really great about taking pictures and sending them to us. They also do annual “school pictures” from an outside photographer for all the classrooms. Jody Z. Is very quick with responding to my emails and I love how Missy greets me personally everyday when I arrive. They are so great and it does kill me to only give them four stars but I do wish they took more COVID-19 precautions seriously. My personal suggestions would be to have all parents wear masks, encouraging staff to get vaccinated (especially when the majority of kids don’t have that option), and quarantine when there is a positive confirmed case. I will give them credit for making sure regular vaccines are up to date for the kids, checking temperatures, hand washing before entering the classroom and having hand sanitizer readily available. I did find out one of my kids classroom was exposed to COVID-19 from another parents portal which was upsetting for me. Honestly, once the vaccine is available for children/we are past the pandemic I can happily give them five stars.Courtney Benner
My child was in the class with 3-5yr olds. The environment was toxic to my child’s development. It was due to violent children in the class that the daycare did not fully address with all necessary steps, including possible expulsion. Their lack of action put my child, the other children and the teachers, at the risk of harm. My child began to withdraw from other children, because of her inability to trust other children were safe and nonviolent. She also began to cry and say she didn’t want to go to daycare anymore, when previously before she was excited. Furthermore, my wife talked to the daycare a week prior about the problems, and about my child being at the very least moved to another class. They said it would only take a day to make the change. There was no follow through with completing the arrangement until I told them my frustrations about my child suffering from their lack of diligence. I also feel my child was not given the learning environment promised. Me and my wife saw that the teachers were not focusing on improving the behaviors of the problem children with the exception of telling them no. We noticed this to be a common occurrence each time we dropped our child off. The teachers also didn’t provide arts and craft time or reading time; essential things for child development. The teachers left the kids to self manage themselves and just play all day. If I wanted a daycare I would have paid for someone cheaper. I also found multiple daycares that do do those things. These issues are all in the control of the daycare management. The younger children’s class (2-3yrs old) was not perfect but they made all the adjustments we asked for. This is the reason they have a three star and not one.Sebastian Misiualesi Na'oupu

Review Summary
Beyond Sports Taekwondo is the best martial arts place anywhere in Utah Valley. I started my oldest son there in 4th grade. He had severe ADHD and we were looking for a place to help him with impulse control along with a long list of behaviors. The teachers and Master instructors were EXACTLY what he needed. They were loving and accepting. Where he was once an outcast at other places like school he found friends and a place safe place to be himself. We found a place he was understood. My son is now a junior in high school and a 2nd degree black belt, and will be testing for his 3rd degree his Senior year. The friendships he has made at Beyond Sports will be long lasting. The Master instructors have become my family. I cannot thank them enough for everything they have done for him and for me. The focus is on making leaders and teaching kids the strong values like integrity, perseverance, self control, respect, endurance. I love the leadership program they offer when students turn 12. It is AMAZING the learning and growth that I have seen in my son. They really do train the leaders everyone looks for. We have since put my other sons in and I see amazing things happening with them. They are becoming more confident and I see their anxiety lessening and they are becoming more confident. They also recently started a preschool and afterschool program. When we bring our daughter home from China we are planning on enrolling her in their preschool because just like everything else it is outstanding and high quality education. I can't wait! Seriously. I can't say enough AMAZING things about this studio. I love the program and love them!Brittany Frisbie
My two children, 4 and 5, have been attending class here since August 2019. This was our first experience with Taekwondo. I have been nothing but impressed with the curriculum, the teachers, the caring, and the focus of character development and skill training. My kids love coming and seeing Master Sorensen. She's the owner who puts her heart, soul, blood, sweat and tears into this program. I would highly recommend a visit to this amazing facility and to visit with the team here if you're looking for a place where your child can grow! #Courtesy #Integrity #Perseverance #SelfControl #IndomitableSpiritKuulei Hanamaikai Law
For our family, Taekwondo at Beyond Sports is more than just a way to provide my children with an athletic outlet for their energy (though it is that as well) but it's a place to help solidify the values of courtesy, respect, self control, etc that we're teaching at home. It's a place where I can find support as a parent and my children are safe. Led by a team of caring adults, it's incredible to see the progress both athletically and emotionally that both of my boys have made since joining.Jessie Evans

Review Summary
From the very beginning my son had problems learning. We had him in public schools, then a charter school, and then back to another public school, but nothing seemed to help. He had been diagnosed with ADHD and unless it was something he was interested in, I couldn't get him to care one bit about the regular school subjects of Math, Science, Reading, Spelling, etc. My son is a good kid, but just couldn't quite figure out how to retain information, and that caused problems with other kids at school. In elementary school he would end up in little fights with his classmates all the time, and he'd come home crying because of the way he was treated by his classmates. By 8th grade he even felt the teachers were out to get him. Of course as a parent you can't believe that an adult, especially a teacher, would act in the ways my son was describing. Unfortunately I personally witnessed the special education teacher at American Leadership Academy bend down and put her face only inches away from his and talk down to him in a very demeaning way, all while I was right there witnessing it. I became very concerned that if a teacher was able to do that in front of another adult, how would this individual act without another adult around? When my son was suspended for roughhousing with one of his friends, even the friend went into the office and said that they were playing, that was the last straw and we pulled my son from ALA and took him back to the public school system. Things got better, and the teachers were much easier to work with in the public school system, but I would still spend hours with my son trying to help him through his schoolwork. Near the end of the semester I'd even take him out of school for a few days and do these marathon homework sessions just to get his homework done and we would barley get him into the C range. My sons mom and I just couldn't find a good answer until she had ran across these alternative learning programs. It felt like a last ditch effort. We had gone in and were close to doing a similar program from a BrainWorks competitor that was going to cost us nearly $9000 for a similar 7 month program. It would also take us about an hour drive each direction in addition to our home tutoring. To say the least, it would be difficult, but we were willing to do it to make sure my son could have a good future. Then she found found BrainWorks which was based in Provo. From what we saw it was a little different program, but a lot easier to do both financially and logistically. We met with Andrew that did the evaluation and it was amazing at how he told us exactly what kind of learning issues said my son was having. My sons mom and I never told Andrew what kind of issues he was having, but he was able to explain each and every one of them perfectly. That's when we signed him up. April was an amazing instructor! She worked with us very well even though we were dealing with my son swapping which house he lived at each week. The program seemed weird at first, but we went along with it. After about a month, I started seeing my son gain some confidence, and shortly after that I watched him start to ask questions and be more interested in his school. We were about 6 months into the program when he started up the next school year and the results were amazing! My son used to fail every one of his classes because he would never turn in homework, and when the other students were working on their schoolwork during class my son would daydream and said he didn't know how to do the assignments. Now he's keeping his grades up on his own and rarely has homework as he is now doing the work in class. The homework I do help out with is usually done in under an hour. My son can finally learn as he needs to and is retaining so much more. I can't believe how much BrainWorks has done for him, and specifically April. She really knew how to both give my son confidence and push him so that he knew he could succeed when doing some very hard exercises. Thank you BrainWorks/April!Nathan Feltch
Short review – Brain Works changed my son’s life. It improved his learning 10 fold. Now he won’t have to struggle through life, the way I did. That is priceless! Long review – **Everyone's child is different, not everyone will get the same results we did. My son struggled with reading, math, writing, following instructions and completing assignments. He was diagnosed with ADD when he was 6 (I didn’t tell him the diagnoses). He was medicated with Vyvanse for 2 months. Although he did much better in school, he was not himself. This was unacceptable to us and we stopped treatment. My son was 9 years old when he went through the Brain Works program. He had 3 years of intensive tutoring prior to Brain Works. This tutoring helped him stay at grade level, but also added to his frustration (lots of effort, little results). We tried many different types of teaching/learning styles, we made it seem like the extra tutoring was normal. I taught him that his curious brain was built to be an explorer, inventor and creator; that his ability to see the world from this perspective is a gift. Teachers would report that my son was a daydreamer, didn’t stay on task and was easily distracted. This was the opposite of what I witnessed at home where he would spend hours focused and learning about “his interests”. We spent 1-2 hours a night on school work he hadn’t completed in class. These “homework” sessions would usually end with one of us in tears; he just could not retain what he was learning. We would also spend 30 minutes a night on spelling and review on our way to school on test day, all this effort to receive 50%. I love my son and I tried to stay positive, but he was exhausted, this process was taking its toll. The older he got the more aware he was of these challenges. I was worried he would label himself “stupid”. I was desperate to find the tools that would help him succeed. A neighbor recommended Brain Works. Andrew did the assessment, he explained how Brain Works could help my son and it all clicked. One analogy Andrew used was “Your son is using a wrench to drive in a nail, let’s give him a hammer”. It was exactly what we were searching for. Attitude is everything! My son was very excited to “re-wire” his brain. We also developed a rewards system, which proved a helpful motivator. I cannot stress it enough, attitude is everything! We had Andrew (our trainer) come once a week and we did another 3-4 sessions a week ourselves. It’s a lot of time, but much more effective then tutoring, it only takes about 7 months and it incorporates some school work, such as spelling and reading. My son noticed improvements by the 4th week, he was retaining information! By the end of the program he was a completely different learner, son and brother. He rarely has any homework; he does it during free-time in class. We review spelling one time and now he usually gets 100%. As his confidence grew, he really came out of his shell; he talks more about his day, he loves school, he remembers the names of new acquaintances, and he mentors classmates. The bond my son and I built during the program is priceless. It’s been 4 years and he still appreciates Brain Works and the time I dedicated to him.Becky Coleman
Our 15 yr old son had struggled through school his whole life. He's a smart boy, but had difficulty paying attention and staying focused in class. We had all the behavioral tests done for him and came up with nothing. Teachers would tell us, "He gets it. He just doesn't do anything." Once he hit middle school his grades plummeted and we were constantly playing the catch up game to barely pass. We found out about this program through one of his friend's mother, Tracy, who ended up being his coach. She was amazing! After the very first session we saw hope in his eyes. Six months is a big commitment, but he stuck with it. He was able to apply the concepts he learned and saw first hand how they made school easier for him. One day he had forgotten to study for a map test and used the photographic memory exercise just before class. He aced it! It's been over a year now and although we still have some struggles, things are turning around for him. He has the tools…we're just working on unlearning bad habits. His attitude, choice of friends, and desire to even get up for school have all taken a more positive direction. I've even seen him do his focus exercise a few times out on the field when the game has gotten a little intense. Meeting Tracy was an answer to prayer for us and we've never regretted enrolling our son in this program.Shelley Paskett
