My son attends Morehouse! Their freshman class made history Fall 2016. This was his first time leaving home. Well into the first semester, he made his first visit home, I was astonished at what I observed for those two days. He had matured mentally, spoke with clarity and confidence, more importantly he carefully listened to what was being said, evaluated what he needed to say before blurring it out as he did prior to attending Morehouse College and spoke humbly with an improved vocabulary. I had to stare at him a few times to see if he was the same young man that just left three months ago… Although, the change may have not been huge, it was significant enough to be noticeable by our family, neighbors and his friends. I cried happy tears before going to bed that night and I thank God for guiding him to this school. His change is real, his struggles are in the past and his success is his future transition from a "Man of Morehouse" to a "Morehouse Man!" Morehouse College is the real deal for educating our young black men across the globe!Karen Johnson

This institution is only living off the names of the world renowned gentleman that are alumni.Because of an incompetent administration team,I only spent 15 days at that school due to financial issues which I was not at fault.It is ironic to witness the urgency they displayed in removing me from my registered classes,however the same urgency was not made to find my FAFSA information in a timely manner that was carelessly misplaced in some soft copy files.This school is a joke,and should be grateful of the outstanding names associated with it. Bruh, the whole school trash…literally. The instructors ain’t instructing. Do not take online classes, the teachers NEVER respond! They didn’t post assignments until 2 weeks after class started and I was literally begging each one to respond to my messages to see what was going on.. THEY NEVER RESPONDED! Then they posted the missed assignments last (with no communication to the students) and expected it to be done in 2 days. I was sick with Covid and emailed every one of them to make-up work, no response initially (which caused me to fall behind), and then when I kept emailing, everyone lied and said they re-opened the missed assignments but did not! It took over 3 months to be admitted to the school. I kept calling and getting switched from department to department , no call backs and no emails- I should’ve knew then. I’m looking for another school to switch to next semester that will let me take my Accounting major online- I REFUSE to give this school FREE money! They need to be reported and sued. Maybe even closed down. THIS ISN’T A REAL SCHOOL! MARK MY WORDS! Lets all work together and get this school shut down permanently! A Mississippian now trying to get back in school after seven years,found Atlanta technical college.I had the hardest most difficult time reaching a advisor for the Paralegal course. I called numerous times and left a voicemail. I also called the dean and no answer. I sent an email to my advisor and received no reply. I finally got a call from my advisor like one day before the summer course start . I was so upset I wanted to attend this summer 2022. The advisor advised me not to start because class starts the next day and I would be rushing and scrambling to buy books and schedule classes. I hate that this school makes it hard for us who are really trying to get this magic ticket to the so called “ American Dream”. I’ve been to better schools in Mississippi and Indiana. I applied and send all required docs in July ai go to the school 1x a week just to be told they have a new system and my application will be updated in 48-72 hours.. No one answered any contact number and whoever is answering the the calls either automatically puts the calls in the waiting queue, or doesn’t want to answer your questions and rushes you off the phone, this morning alone I have been on hold two hours and have yet to speak to anyone. Absolutely fantastic learning experience for people of all ages. So many detailed exhibits from ancient mummies of Egypt to Grecian artifacts. Even New Age art with a few pieces that left us with our heads turned to the side and scratching our head. Guides were available in almost every room and the self-guided tour is very easy to follow. We attended on one of the free days (there are many throughout the month) however we encourage you to make a donation to the museum like we did as the experience is definitely worth it. I brought my 3-year-old nephew and 9-year-old daughter this visit. Although there isn't very much to do for children this young mine are a little bit more advanced in their exploration of art since they were exposed to it at a young age. Definitely better for children ages 12 and above. Exhibits are spaced far enough for persons that are none ambulatory to maneuver in wheelchair. There are also ramps and elevators. There is a small coffee shop on the top floor with very polite baristas. Restrooms were very clean and well stocked. I look forward to my next visit to the Michael C. Carlos museum. Visited on

Wow what an absolutely cool and interesting museum to visit! At first, me and my aunt came in on the wrong floor and there was no staff or anything lol so we thought that it was just a quick little in and out tour but eventually ended up in the right spot and we’re glad we did! This was the best $8 I’ve spent this year! The museum was way bigger than I had imagined and the variety of sculptures and artifacts varied from Asian, African, Mesoamerican, etc. It was a very cool spur of the moment trip. The only quarrel we had which was quite an odd one, was that it was really weird that there was an unbelievable hike of stairs up to the African American history area. Everything else had an elevator and walk up so that was really off. The African American art gallery was also sadly really small. I see that they’re adding some things on but gotta do better because that doesn’t look good. Overall, the museum is a solid 10/10 😍Ms. K

Interesting collection of ancient world art and artifacts, from Mesopotamia to the Americas, located within Emory University campus. The exhibits are curated and informative, divided into different regions. I loved how they showcased the ancient miniature cylindrical stamps to show the intricate design. The Egyptian room is filled with a handful of mummies and sarcophagus, although I believe one of them is cursed. I took a picture of the mummy postured on its side and I didn't realize until I came home that the picture processing was totally eerie as it only captured the mummy and turned the whole background green. I've never had this happen to my pics before or the other parts of the Egyptian exhibit. Visited on

Pinecrest Academy does not provide what it claims. We have found that education is not their top priority. And for the price tag, that is extremely disappointing. If you are interested in your child receiving a strictly Catholic religious-focused education, at the cost of all other aspects of education, then Pinecrest may be for you. Read about who owns and runs the school — do your homework on Legionnaires of Christ, Regnum Christi and their schools. Another huge red flag for potential families is the turnover in leadership throughout the years. The Board has done a disservice to the students and teachers by lacking to keep in place a strong leader who can move the school forward and improve. They currently have no leadership, just interim who are under-qualified and place fillers. I wish I would've believed what I read about the school prior to sending my children there. With so many excellent private (and Catholic)) schools in GA, Pinecrest Academy is not one of them.Catholic Mom

Pinecrest is not only an amazing academic institution, but it is also devoted to forming Christian leaders. It’s not just something they say; it is something they whole heartedly believe in and put into their daily curriculum. Your child will receive a great education as well as the faith based life skills needed to be a good person that contributes to their community and makes good choices. I can offer my review as a parent of a former student and as an employee. My son graduated in 2015 and went to MPCS kindergarten- 12th grade. His teachers were all wonderful but most of all he was truly prepared to succeed beyond high school. He was prepared academically as well as morally and spiritually. Being an employee at MPCS for 16 years I am truly honored to say it’s a great place to work and the teachers and staff truly do care about the students. Parking on the street for $7 . Get there a little early. Very nice roomy clean venue. We saw "Christmas Carol". The stage was decorated,the costumes were really cool and captured the era, and the actors were believable. We really enjoyed ourselves. The theater sells liquor beverages . There's a small gift shop with novelty items. Inside the theater. There was no "bad" seat. The staff was very nice and helpful. Plenty of staff around to help. Kid friendly. This is one of the best zoos I've ever been to! The animals have so much room to roam around and explore and though zoos usually make me sad this one made me very excited. There are so many animals here other zoos simply don't have and it was very fun to see them up close and personal. Though some animals were away due to the cold weather I still feel like I had a great time. This zoo is also very clean and well kept which is always good. The bathrooms and other facilities are clean as well which is definitely a bonus. When we went for whatever reason there were barely any people so it was like a private tour of the zoo all by myself! That was definitely a once in a life time experience. Also, there's a petting zoo here which is something many zoos don't have so that's fun for all ages to stop by and pet some goats/sheep. I was also here for illuminights and had a great time there either. The zoo is transformed and instead of live animal exhibits you got to see the park lit up with the animal light displays around the zoo. An unexpected bonus was that the pandas were still out so we got to see a sneak peek at them at night too! Overall, it is definitely worth the time and money to stop here and see the animal – you won't regret it. Visited on

I can't rate for how this zoo ranks compared to other zoos. This was the first time I'd been to one since I was a wee lad. But, I wasn't impressed. If you want to go to a zoo, because you've never been, or because you really like zoos, or like in my case your daughter has never been to a zoo and wants to go, I guess this zoo is as good as any other. Maybe I'm being a little harsh. I had a good time, but that's because I was with my wife and daughter, and we always have a good time together, but the zoo itself was blah. For the price, and how big the place is I feel that there should be more to do. Not even sure what that would look like and no suggestions for what those things to do would be, but it just felt like a nice walk. "Oh look, the elephant." It doesn't take long to look at an elephant. It's cool. But really, how long do you need before you say, "Yup. I have now seen an elephant in person," and move on to the next animal? That's the zoo. And it really felt like there wasn't enough to see for the price of admission. Maybe I'm just not a zoo person.Gary Smith

What a great zoo and definitely an elephant encounter made it even more special. The zoo has the rare Giant Panda, red panda and even has lions. We did the elephant encounter and what an experience. The zookeepers are extremely knowledgeable and you can see their love of these mammals. The zoo has a zoo explorer club for kids that we didn't do because we were focused on our first time seeing all the animals first. Next time, I would entertain that for my kids. They have an amazing treetop zine and ropes course for little tots and bigger kids. Definitely worth the money. We chose Woodward Academy instead of moving to suburbia. This is our 6th year at Woodward Academy and we know without a doubt that we made the right choice. Most of the educators have many years of experience, but most importantly, they are wonderful with engaging the child. We have noticed that the academics level up each year and we are grateful that we are in good hands, especially during the pandemic. Woodward was able to successfully pivot and educate our children, in person, while also keeping them safe. We never have to worry about our children, the school is supportive of us in every way. The level of academics is impressive, extracurricular activities are readily available, the food is excellent.. When your children go to Woodward, you feel like you joined the Woodward Family. Woodward academy is an amazing, wonderful, beautiful school for HIGH SCHOOLERS! Woodward gives a lot of freedom to their students not only does it look like a college or high school it’s ran like one too. If this were a high school only it would be PERFECT! However it’s for elementary and middle school as well. I will change my review if the school changes. New changes below. At the 8th grade graduation, we noticed that about 15 kids out of a class of around 100 were leaving. About 12 of them were going to different schools in the Atlanta area. They were some of the best students in the class. Why are they leaving? Administrators do not seem to care as long as there is another student to take their place. AIS has wonderful students and parents and most of the teachers and administrators are also top-notch. However, the school is not without room for improvement. The administration often times selects parents of students to administer and teach at the school which has clearly leads to negative results. For example, when a student of an administrator or teacher is problematic, a great deal of favoritism is given to that student. Also, the school is just too slow to terminate very bad teachers. Some middle school teachers cannot keep control of the class as disruptive students create chaos with obscene gestures and words directed at students and the teacher herself. I have heard stories about other teachers simply assigning homework during class so that they can sit down in grade a previous quiz or test. Now is that really why we are were paying $25k? During 2014's weather-related makeup days, the kids were not doing anything besides watching films. Why keep them in school for that? The school touts itself as having a dual language program. Truthfully, unless your child has a foundation for the target language outside of the school, they are probably not going to be fluent. After the 5th grade, the children who are fluent are supposed to be separated out so that they can continue to be educated in and thrive in the target language. The reality is that, with enough pressure, the administration and teachers will "designate" a student as being fluent so that they do not have to deal with the aggressive parents and tiger moms who voice their disappointment. As a result, you kids who cannot speak target language very well slow down the rest of the group as the teacher goes over the basics over and over. The school has an excellent theater and arts program. It also is an excellent soccer school. There are good athletes for track and field and volleyball but, there is not a solid foundation for other popular sports. The school is an excellent pipeline for high quality education at excellent universities. I think that says the most when it comes to choosing the appropriate school for your child. The IB program is highly respected and the vast majority of the students, if not 100% of them, pass the IB exams which gives them a huge advantage at the next level of education. I really hope that the school does something to fix the problems. I evaluated anonymously to avoid retaliation against my children.John Doe

UPDATED review I wanted to update my review from two years ago, which is listed below. My wife and I put our second child into the Spanish immersion program at AIS two years ago, so we have had two children at the school for 3 and 2 years respectively (from 3K to 1st Grade). Regrettably we have decided to move both children OUT of the school. This is a good school but it is NOT for everyone. Pros: Great parent community – we have made some great friends who we will miss dearly. The Early Learning Center (ELC) (3K and 4K) is excellent. The cultural awareness at AIS is good and obviously a main focus of the school. Cons: Our AIS experience began to go sour in 5K and 1st grades. In 5K there was some bullying (fortunately our child was not directly involved) and the school didn't effectively handle the situation. It left a number of parents frustrated. We found that children whose family's speak the target language at home will do better than children whose family's do not. As a family which does not speak Spanish at home, we found that our child fell behind on basic English language convention standards (such as writing in full sentences, printing in upper and lowercase letters, etc.) and we had to get an outside tutor to get him caught up. My son's challenges were exacerbated because the school teaches these basics in Spanish and English on alternating days. Our concerns were confirmed by an independent psych/educational assessment which indicated my son's English language skills were below expectations for his age. ______________ 1st review 2016 I have one of my son's in the 3K Spanish program. I am extremely happy with the level of teaching and my son is thriving. The program is 100% Spanish immersion (you may also enroll in French or German). Neither my wife or I speak Spanish fluently and were concerned that this would restrict his progression. Far from it – he is talking and comprehending Spanish in his second term. The school has frequent parent observation days where you can see them work on science, language, technology and math projects. All in all we are very happy and believe this is a worthwhile investment. We plan on sending our second son to AIS next year.Ian Macdonald

Cafeteria food isn't the best. Overall it's a good school, very diverse, very friendly atmosphere. I have enjoyed my nine years here, look forward to maybe spending more. If not I enjoyed my stay at this school and hope to visit in the future. Oh, you thought I was done. I'm not, last year I had one of the worst teachers you could ever ask for, he only gave out assignments without explaining what to do so half the class people just sat there without clarification. Also the food there hasn't improved in the nine years I've been here; the pizza is dry, the pasta is disgusting and the tacos are nauseating. Christ The King School has been wonderful especially during the trials of the Covid pandemic. The administration and staff worked extremely hard to get students back to in person learning at the start of the school year (Aug 2020) and everyone has thrived since. Just today, my oldest son was able to go to confession while attending this top notch school. We hope to send all our children to CTK. This is a really cool place and is loaded with information. A quick breakdown Good: – free!! – loaded with information on diseases and epide.ics from the recent Ebola outbreak in Western Africa to the AIDS scare of the 90's and even earlier epidemics like Polio and smallpox. – they have a lot of real world items that would have been used in handling outbreaks, helps make these events feel real. (MINOR) Bad: – you're not allowed to take pictures of the outsides of the buildings in the compound and even certain areas inside the museum. This isn't apparent and they don't have signs posted anywhere, when I went to take a picture, I got yelled at by security guards. What's the big deal, they showed it all on The Walking Dead anyway 😂 – the exhibits are really information dense, they're almost daunting to approach because you feel like you're surrounded by walls of text, and they have videos playing in many places with the sound on, (and some areas with headphones). I get easily distracted and wasn't able to read some of the exhibits because of the videos playing around me. – due to security concerns, you must have a state id to enter, so international visitors may not be able to enter., If my rating didn't say it: these negatives are MINOR. I called before we went to see if they required covid-19 vaccine cards (online it said we may need it). The lady seemed very put out that I was asking that. The check in process consisted of having your car searched, showing ID multiple times, going through metal detectors. The security guards were not very friendly, they seemed like they didn't like kids being there. Once in the exhibit a worker stopped my children to tell them not to touch things (which they were not doing). Although the museum is nice for an adult audience, not at all centered for children or youth. My children found it extremely boring. It would be nice if there was something for children to see or touch. I was hoping for more than just reading posters on the wall. Pretty cool place! Be prepared to have your car searched especially if you’re a first time visitor. I wish I had cleaned it but security was thorough and somehow managed to see past the trash and grime in my back seats. Heading into the actual building there is another security check but once in the museum you’ll find all sorts of fascinating facts and relics. I left there informed, paranoid and fascinated all at once. The latest exhibit had the most beautiful displays of diseases I’d ever seen! I cannot say enough good things about Mount Vernon. My older daughter attended another private school and found school boring and did not like it, and as such, I started looking at other schools. When I went to Mount Vernon's open house, I was so impressed with the school and literally felt blessed to have discovered it. My daughter started in 2nd grade, and it was as though her light switch flipped on. She became another kid and started absolutely loving school. She is now in 7th grade and actually still cries when school is over in the summer, because she loves it that much., and cannot wait for the new year to start. What strikes me about Mount Vernon is that it is all about the students and how they can be engaged in their learning and pushed to achieve. In our old school, it seemed to be all about the teachers and administration. And, the teachers at Mount Vernon are absolutely unbelievable. When I attended 7th grade curriculum night this year, I could not get over how impressive the teachers are. And it is like that every year! I also love how Mount Vernon is really leading the way in how to educate our children in the 21st century. I see correlations between what they are doing and what the universities I attended are doing, and that really excites me. Last but not least the school community itself is wonderful between the school leadership, teacher, parents and students. We love our school!! Our family is so glad we found Mount Vernon Presbyterian School. We were encouraged to consider MVPS while going through the outplacement process at my daughter’s previous school. Once we toured, we decided to go ahead a transfer my son in the first grade we loved it so much. We really wanted a family school that both our children with unique learning styles could attend. MVPS has allowed my gregarious daughter to be excited about learning and share her excitement through outside of the box, multi-sensory learning. My son, who was more introverted at the time, was encourage to step outside of his box and learn important presentation and speaking skills. They both are thriving through amazing teachers and administrators who genuinely care about their learning and success. Both of our kids have the opportunity to explore subjects and interests near and dear to their hearts. They are continually stretched and encouraged to accomplish amazing learning goals they never would have set for themselves. The MVPS community is caring and loving. One of our main reasons for choosing MVPS was the feeling we got while touring the school and developing relationships with teachers and families. We felt like the teachers really love their careers and wanted to be at the school teaching. After four years being a part of the MVPS community those feelings are still validated. My son has been at MVPS for the past seven years. While at times I admit there have been less-than-perfect moments, overall I have to say we are thrilled with the education that he is getting there. He is truly being prepared for college and more importantly for the 21st century. The teachers are excellent, the academics challenging and sports have been thoroughly rewarding. He is in 7th grade now with small class sizes and the relationships he has with his teachers are phenomenal- relationships that could not happen at a larger school. I would like to address a concern in a previous, negative review. My husband and I make a lot of sacrifices to be able to afford the tuition here. We are not huge financial contributors to the various other funds that the school requests above and beyond tuition. We do what we are able and give of our time and energy as we can. Never once in 7 years have we felt that our son has had any less an education than the families who are able to donate on a grander scale. Never. This school might not be for all students, but it is in our opinion one of the finest options available in Atlanta. My husband and I had our wedding here and the coordinators were great. They really have it nailed down regarding all the forms, procedures, and schedule for the wedding. They answered all my questions at a reasonable rate, and if they didn't know the answers, they were more than happy to find out for me. Only thing was that communication seemed to be lacking between the individual coordinators, so I had to repeat the information a couple of times. However, they're volunteers, so this is completely reasonable. Also, we got to have an organist and a trumpeter, which was amaaaaazing. For the day of, everyone was fantastic. I had no worries about scheduling, where people had to go, dealing with the musicians, etc. Very stress free! 🙂 The venue is very breathtaking and fitting for such an event.So-mi Cowan

The outside of this church is lovely so I stop on the sidewalk and take a picture with my phone, and I'm not there ten seconds before the security guard glares at me from inside the building and steps outside to thump a giant NO LOITERING sign in front of the door before going back in. I attended a concert at First Presbyterian Atlanta and was so impressed by the beauty and excellent sound. Realized that night that I had misplaced my wallet and wasn't sure if it was at the church, the High Museum or the Marta train. I contacted all but heard from only one, the church. A security guard called me early Monday morning to tell me my wallet had been found and all contents were inside!! We rushed down to meet Sgt Oates and retrieve my lost belongings. Our wedding ceremony was held here for their Champagne Vows all inclusive wedding experience, primarily started to help COVID-19 couples!!! The Venue is breathtakingly beautiful. We fell in love with it as soon as we walked on the property. We were the only wedding that day in July 2020. It was an amazing stress free experience!! It was magical and felt so personal and intimate!! Just like we longed for despite COVID altering our plans. The day couldn't have gone any better. You're in good hands with this team!! The staff were wonderful and made sure all of our questions were answered and desires met. The venue itself is gorgeous throughout from the inside staircase to the gardens and fountains outside. We took photos everywhere with our photographers from Love & Story in Atlanta. They're Amazing!! At the time due to COVID-19, only close family and friends could attend but the package included a videographer who streamed to 100 virtual guests. The virtual guests could hear every sniffle and laugh!! Everyone enjoyed it and discussed how elegant and intimate everything looked and sounded. We thank our vendors so much for helping the COVID-19 couples celebrate our revamped big day in an amazing way!! It was so much better than we could have ever imagined. We wouldn't have changed a thing and it saved us so much money!! We highly recommend Callanwolde Fine Arts Center and all of our vendors!!Alicia Billups

I toured numerous Atlanta venues for my wedding, but nothing could have compared to Callanwolde. The beautiful architecture and landscape took my breath away. If it weren’t for Google Maps, you would never know you’re in the middle of a city. It is an incredibly peaceful and quiet area of town. I was heartbroken postponing my wedding in 2020 due to COVID, but the team worked with us to schedule a new date the following year. Everything went off without a hitch and I could not be more thankful to have chosen this spot for my big day. Throughout the year the Callanwolde Fine Arts Center presents a series of art exhibitions within its gallery space. It also hosts classes and workshops for all ages in a vast array of artistic disciplines. Built in 1917, its mansion-like Late Gothic or Mock Tudor architecture is almost as impressive. It was constructed as the home of Charles Howard Candler, President of the Coca-Cola Company in the 1920s and son of the drink’s formulator. Ron Clark Academy is the embodiment of "a dream school" of professionals who go above and beyond their job descriptions to make learning absolutely enjoyable. The teachers are all remarkably expertise of their respected fields and many of them wear many hats at RCA. There is a great sense of camaraderie among the staff members and how they pour into every student and support their family members…which is so beautiful that it feels like you're indeed surrounded by "family." Words cannot merely convey just how blessed my family were to have witnessed the unconditional, relentless, dedication, love, and empowerment of the staff member's drive for each student. The staff are nothing short of amazing and if you are ever blessed to attend any of the teacher trainings and tour the Ron Clark Academy you will be astounded beyond your imagination. Ron Clark Academy is preparing young scholars not just for the next level but they are preparing them for a lifetime. How do I know this? Because I am a proud RCA Alumni parent and my daughter (who is definitely NOT a dancer lol) will tell anyone that Mr. Clark, Mrs. Bearden, the late Mr. Ken Townsel and too many others to name…are the reasons that she was able to move from Atlanta Ga to the Midwest and soar not only academically but also on social and professional levels. Her teachers were astounded by her charisma, ethics, mannerism, professionalism, and hunger to learn. This is the student demographics for the Ron Clark Academy. One Hispanic student out of their entire student body. This is a non profit school that is funded by a diverse group of sponsors and donors. They have received hundreds of application from Hispanic kids during their years in operation and yet they currently only have one Hispanic student. I'll be looking into this. All kids deserves a FAIR chance to be part of this school. I'm blessed that my son has other options but what about the other Hispanic kids who don't. I hope the local media gets involved. We need to get to the bottom of this. Update: I just got responses from several local news channels and Hispanic organizations so the ball is rolling.Apaza Entertainment

Enjoyed observations, not an ordinary school. Left with a few good ideas, but I felt like it was mostly a tour, an expensive tour. I enjoyed seeing the use of best practices during observations, but I also wanted actual instructional time from the teachers. Don't get me wrong you are able to ask questions in the sessions, but the ones that I really wanted to get more information about for example, engagement, were cut very short because of the transition timing. some of the teachers were only able to give us two or three strategies that they used instead of being able to give us more information about how to initiate these practices at the beginning of the year.Denice Korean

Marist School has offered our son a rigorous, challenging education in a caring community. In grade 11, my son had an English long-term substitute teacher who usually taught college students. Her mid-term message to parents was, "Your kids are definitely ready for college." Marist grads transition smoothly to college without the "ohmigoshcollegeissohard!" shock that many kids experience. In her Notre Dame U calculus class, one grad used the same textbook that she used at Marist. In grade 10, a teacher noticed that my son seemed unusually tired and let the counselor know about it. The counselor checked with all of his teachers and then let me know about it. We were so grateful that teachers and the counselor showed such vigilance for our son's wellbeing.Linda Hatten

We visited this parish from Montana for a baptism and for Mass the following day. What a beautiful chapel with such great history. Your new priest was such a pleasure and gave of his time graciously and delivered a beautiful homily both days. One of the deacons told us some of the beautiful history and explained the rich history of the stain-glass windows, the alter, the all-girl school below the church and so much more. Holy moly this place is tall! The ceilings are quite high and it carries the sound very well. The seating can be tight the pews are all wooden which can become uncomfortable. Parking is near the cathedral and across the street. Cool place for a wedding, too.kyle

I had an amazing workout experience, the trainers and the instructors are awesome! They have a variety of classes that we can choose from and explore. However the membership termination and the terms that are to be followed are a mess. I was very well aware of the 60 day notice period to cancel my subscription. I had an emergency and had to freeze the account, and later was informed that I would still be charged and the money would be compensated for my upcoming month. And again, I was charged for the next month where I wasn’t supposed to be. I wish they kept a better track of this, because I enjoy working out at Atlanta kick and the only reason I had to freeze or cancel my subscription is due to unforeseen circumstances. And being charged only because the system isn’t organised enough is definitely not helping. Update: Jeff reached out and put in his best effort to figure out a way to resolve the situation, waived off the fee and gave the opportunity to workout until the end of September. Excellent kickboxing. Wonderful teachers – class is fun and nonstop intensity for 45 minutes. Gym is clean, staff is helpful, instructors are very much in sync with participants.. My kids LOVE the karate instruction with Romeo. Paula in management is so warm and accommodating, Jeff the owner is very much attuned to members. Atlanta Kick is a quality gym in a fabulous location. Atlanta Kick is all kinds of amazing. Our six year old son takes classes and has attended day camps here. The instructors are kind, enthusiastic, knowledgeable and go above and beyond to connect and mentor the students in more than martial arts. HIES has been a great place to work but I have found over the years that the standard of education has been slipping into mediocrity as the number of programs grows.
