UNM is an awesome university! I'm currently a junior and throughout my three years here UNM has provided me with a number of opportunities, friends, resources and life skills. The campus is gorgeous, at all times of the year! People on campus are always friendly and there's always a ton going on. Aside from the great atmosphere, the staff and professors are extremely nice and always willing to help. I came here with no major in mind and was able to explore with the help of my advisor until I figured it out. I was able to create the degree that I wanted through the liberal arts program and my focus areas have opened so many doors for me! UNM has also provided me with the opportunity to go on exchange to another University for a whole year at the same price for tuition, amazing! I will always be grateful for the knowledge and skills I've gained as well as all of the amazing friends and colleagues I've made! This is a nice large clean campus. The only bad thing is probably the bicycle theft. Even if you use ulock, there's high chance that it might get stolen. Duck pond is one the best places to chill. Janaya Bunker was incredible and super thorough. The best cleaning the best x-rays the best time anyone can possibly have getting their teeth serviced. The instructor Cher is super awesome and funny. With service like this and instruction like this I have faith in the dental industry for Las Cruces. Highly recommended that anybody reading this review call and make an appointment with the dental college to get your exam and your cleaning. Make sure that you make extra time in your schedule for these because they do take a little bit longer. It is still completely worth it.Zoey E

For such a small campus you would expect advisors to be more organized. Left voicemails and sent emails, but received no answer. All I had was an advisor hold which could have been resolved easily. First advisor stated she wasn't making appointments and only taking walk-ins, but when I showed up she said she had an appointment and wouldn't be able to see me. I highly recommend Pima Medical Institute for anyone that wants to succeed in the field of radiography. The instructors are very knowledgeable, friendly, and well respected in their profession, and the clinical and program directors are very helpful and are always there for you every step of the way. What sets Pima apart from other radiography programs, is that the students have the opportunity to gain clinical experience in special modalities, and they will even assist with job placement! Hello, graduate of the Class of 2022 Dental hygiene program here. As we were starting the program the covid shut down happened. The instructors and program director where very attentive to how they could make the program work. As much as we were adapting to school online, so were they. I personally felt the support from all instructors. As per clinic, I feel my skills evolved every semester and we are challenged to push ourselves more. I went through the LPN program last year in the height of Covid. It was challenging but the support from the teachers was great! They did their absolute best trying to figure things out and help us figure things out as well. This program is very hard work but the amount of effort you as a student, shows in your personal outcome. I’ve attended Carrington College in Albuquerque for three programs! I started with Medical Assisting, which, after completing, was helped with externship placement, getting my certification, and job placement. After graduation from Medical Assisting, I went right into the Associates in Health Studies program and after graduating from that program, entered Medical Coding and Billing…… which, at the time of writing this, I have successfully completed and have just ordered my cap and gown for graduation!! After this, my last program will be the nursing program! Carrington has been absolutely instrumental in not only providing me with a solid education in healthcare, but also taught me the importance of professionalism, showing up early every day no matter what, the all-important resume writing, job interview techniques along with placement, and preparing me to take my certification tests in each program. During each course of study at Carrington, I learned just how vital certification actually is to our careers! Samantha guided me through the externship process after classes and was available for any questions, and words of encouragement along the way to completion! Paul in Financial Aid, was a sweetheart who walked me through the financial portion of all three of my programs! Bonnie Nolen directs programs with a great enthusiasm for furthering one’s education, and was always available for any questions, concerns, or just a much needed pep talk that kept me focused through my program! Bonnie knew quite well the many issues that can arise for those of us switching careers and returning to school! Thank you Carrington for giving me an amazing and wonderful experience! Carrington College in Albuquerque is the best! The staff is amazing, from ms. Terry always having the front smelling wonderful, along with a pleasant greeting/farewell each morning. To Ms. Bonnie checking up on you in class and sharing her stories. To Sonia and Kimberly working hard to demonstrate what professionalism looks like, scheduling mock interviews and getting us ready for externship. Of course saving the best for last, Ms.Ash is the absolute best Medical Assistant instructor! If you believe in yourself and put in the work she will teach you so much. The hands on experience and all the staffs hard work gets you ready for the real world workforce & I am so thankful I picked Tuesday & Thursday morning class. Carrington College Albuquerque is the best place to go if you are looking for support to get you through your program. I got support from everyone on campus, from the Administrative Assistant Mrs. Terry, to my Program Director Mrs. Bonnie. I have had the pleasure of having an amazing instructor, Mrs.Ash, who believed in me from the beginning and I achieved more than I thought I would when I first started. Having the hands on experience in the classroom really helps you when you are out on the job. I want to start this off by saying I tried to post this anonymously because of fear of retaliation, but unfortunately Duke City or Google blocked my review. So let’s try again with my actual personal profile. The receptionists that work at this Urgent Care are completely lacking in empathy and compassion. I had a horrible experience with them the couple times I called and needed assistance. It was like pulling teeth just to get simple information from them, as if they were trying to be unhelpful. Which to me clearly indicates they do not care about their jobs anymore and probably should find a new place to work. I myself work in customer service and can honestly say, even on my worst day, I would not speak to people the way they spoke to me each time I called or was in person speaking with them. I also would not at all recommend this location whatsoever, since they are NOT good diagnosticians. The doctor I saw completely mis-diagnosed me and gave me the completely wrong medication. This wrong medication had many very intense side effects. I so regret going here for treatment and am dreading the bills that will surely come in the mail for this so-called "medical care" I received. Honestly, go ANYWHERE else. Everything from how I was treated at the reception level to the care I received from the doctors was terrible.Kellie Metz

I went there for an ankle sprain. And this was one of the worse decisions I made in my life. The waiting time is at least 4 hours for an “urgent care” finally they did an x-ray and I saw a nurse, who gave me nothing just some readings at all. Because they are business people not actual they propose the small things that insurance companies won't pay for because it is a scam. They make sure that you sign a paper that the coverage is on you in case the insurance do not cover the charge. After insurance coverage(65%) I had a total of $400 to pay and the worse is they did nothing at all. I pay money to waste 4 hour in the waiting room and to talk to a nurse. Mediocre service from staff, from start to finish I don't think I received a hello or even a genuine smile. My daughter was needing a sports physical which is a rather quick appointment but we were there about 2 hours, granted we didn't have an appointment so I expected to wait. The facility was rather dirty looking. I eventually had ask when we would be seen after already being called back. I've been to other Duke City Urgent Care facilities and this one was lacking tremendously. Not friendly at all with the exception of one xray tech.Eric Bustillos

A lovely and functional campus with a small footprint that gets lots done learning-wise. Library and computer lab staffs have always been friendly. Most instructors are readily available. Classrooms are up-to-date with what seems like the perfect technology to help instructors teach students in comfortable environment. The College seems to have a degree program for every type of learner and most job categories. Tuition is a bargain.Joe Smith

People at this campus are rude and they stare at you, like if you had something on you. I came to the computer lab and i caught 3 people staring at me and other times at well. They make it so obvious and it's making me sick, the only thing that i like about this campus is that is new and the computer lab. I'd rather go to the DACC from Espina street, that DACC is much more open and flexible. Don't go to this campus.May Martinez

I love this place, and not ONLY because my wife teaches here. This is an awesome facility with ample parking and fun little places to study, etc. It also helps that for the past year they've been the home to one of the better covid testing locations in town.Kelly Ahrendes

They made me choose between my dying mother and my schooling. I should have known this place was sketchy when the instructors were always quitting, enrollment was low, and the main instructor for my course couldn’t read. Unprofessional is putting it lightly. They preach about being understanding to get you enrolled, then totally blindside you with changes and expect the students to adapt without warning. One of the instructors was upset she didn’t get a full time position, then took that aggression out on her students. She mistreated and verbally abused a student so much that the student dropped out. After this incident, the instructor openly mocked and made fun of her in front of other students. What kind of instructor gossips to her students about her students? I learned more about the instructor’s jail bird boyfriend more than the actual curriculum. This place is a joke, instructors are a joke, and I wouldn’t waste my time. Get an appropriate education at a legit university where the instructors can actually read.Felicia Martinez

Scam artists. They’ll tell you that they will work around your work schedule and you will start in a fundamental course once you start the program but then start you in an advanced course forgetting to mention the courses are in a loop. But when you ask what to do so you can at least be caught in the class is told to get “computers for dummies” by an instructor that doesn’t have any certification. Then also told that your work schedule is causing an issue with school. Leaving you to have to drop the courses and also leaving you 16 thousand in debt with nothing learned.Michael Romero

Well now that im coming to the end of term and graduation i am sorry to inform that some staff are awsome financial-aid is okay. I was not happy about checks they would get news that checks where on the way and would inform students but when it was time they where not in its not the people who work in the financial department fault i blame how the corporate office runs the school i do not recommend this school i mean the teaching is great… But please fully understand this school put alot of research befor going here👍👎desiree vidal-montoya

A nice clean and friendly place. High Desert calls right after they get the referral, and the appointments seem to be within a week. I wrote the wrong address and Google was less than useless, so the day before my appointment I hunted for the office. I thought I found High Desert, so I called them to make sure they were the correct company (I couldn't read my writing for the name and Doppler was the only thing I knew). I called and asked if I had an appointment the next day. I did, and they asked if I'd like the scan then and there. YES! The paperwork was short and the wait even shorter. The chairs are comfortable and they have a water cooler, nice for hot days. The whole place was clean. High Desert is right next to the Church, on the West side of Eubank. It has 2 parking lot entrances, one on each side of the red brick building. Lots of parking in the back. ALSO, the Handicap Entrance is in the back of the building. High Desert sends the images to a radiologist to read, and they send the results to your doctor. I would recommend High Desert to anybodyMary DeForest

The technicians were professional, however their equipment was not interchangeable. One set would not function, so another set had to be rounded up. COVID Protocols were not being fully followed by the clerical staff, especially in the back area. Waiting area was small and crowded, did not seem clean. Old carpeting, furniture, etc. Right out of the 70's. A ramp had been added in the enclosed interior foyer to access the various levels. Accessibility into the building was not evident, turns out that an "accessible entry" was at the rear of the building – marginally acceptable.Glenn Ford

I recently went to DR Depappas for a steroid injection. He called me prior to the procedure and answered all my question and explained everything prior to appointment date. The procedure went through with no consequences. He personally the best doctor I have been to in a long time.Cheryl Carter

My wife took a Paella cooking class at Los Altos church July 22, 2014. Not only was the kitchen not too nice to cook in, but the teacher was not pleasant at all or a good teacher. The finished Paella was not good at all. This was a really disappointing experience for her as there were several other cooking classes she wanted to take but they are all by this same teacher. My husband and I took a cooking class with Gilda. She was the most unpleasant person I've been around in a long time. She was short tempered with her students, sarcastic, and generally overall nasty. Be sure to read the guidelines before going in and you will not have any issues every department hapartments has wonderful people there to answer your questions or help you with your needs.. I myself am actually disabled and go to school for for film on a scholarship for disabled individuals and I have had amazing support the entire way through Not only that but the Dean the entire staff is really great and now the campus has improved to the Overall fuel of the campus it's a nice place to be to hang out and and they have made plenty of spaces where students can actually be even when between classes or doing homework doing homework etc. There are a number of labs where you can use the latest technology and the latest software often So you really have many options and options and I would recommend CNM I graduated with 2 of my degrees and I am working on one more and I have been to UNM but CNN has much more intimate classes and not only that tleave that that I find the quality he is better as well Instead of quantity being focused on quality is focused on so you will have some amazing professors. Who definitely do not get paid enough for what they're doing in fact the entire staff really is underpaid for what they do but as far as everything with the campus goes I would recommend that I would recommend that I would recommend looking up the website so you know where you're going if you're looking for something in particular you'll be able to find that rather easily through the website and you can also chat with someone if you need to. You can find help with everything from Career advancement job place manic cetera to next Saturday to financial aid and so on. The new buildings and the additions and renovations to the other buildings at the main campus are top notch and I really loved being at the school I'm disappointed that disappointed that I have to move to a 4 year school it's been a honor.Rye Lu (edisiuS One)

I set up my classes almost 3 weeks in advance with an advisor. A week before classes were supposed to start (today) I called and talked to 3 seperate people. A man in the advisor office, a woman at the cashiers office, and a woman in the financial aid office. Each person confirmed my payments were set up and I was good to go for classes. I went on an out of state trip and came home to DOZENS of texts and emails saying my classes were getting dropped. I paid $50 to keep the classes, and I was still dropped from my classes. I called and talked to an advisor who said there was basically nothing they could do, and told me that a higher up would call me. Its been a week since then and I still havent heard anything, I still dont have my money back. Im heartbroken and distraught. Every time ive tried to call since speaking with the advisor, ive been hung up on every single time. CNM preaches inclusitivity, then excludes the disabled students. Absolutely ridiculous and im still fuming.SomeCryptid

Don’t go to this school if you’re trans. On their website there’s a name change request for trans students that doesn’t require paperwork, yet I’ve been running in circles for a week and getting zero progress. When I bring it up, no one in student services even knows what I’m talking about and IT had to have me lead them to the form. You would think that they added the form last week without telling anyone. I went to UNM last semester and the school let you change your own name within blackboard and it was updated within 24hours. The process at CNM is so difficult and ridiculous and the help services just transfer my call to other departments as if they don’t know who can handle the issue. After this semester I’m transferring back and staying at UNM.azul

This campus is a little out dated but I love it. The atmosphere is quaint, the sunrises are AMAZING, you can smell fresh cut trees and rain, and hear the roosters crow. Feels like home.Monica Espinosa

I had two teeth removed by the head dentist Dr McClave and he is definitely one of the best dentists that I have ever been to. I felt absolutely no pain during receiving three injections for numbing and the whole procedure took only forty minutes. I really felt cared for. I was given all the best advice and necessary information plus Anna at the front desk helped me acquire affordable dental insurance ahead of my procedure.
