Very inconsiderate! I think our company made a bad choice of partnering with your company for our health program! I was 15min.early on my appointment at the huntsman cancer mobile and the front desk lady won't let me in and asked me to come back. I would understand if there were patients waiting but there's none.Gosh! It's 97 degree outside! Where is your patient care that always printed in your brochures? Or maybe your staffs are not trained well specifically that front desk receptionist! That lady named Zona/Sona is very inconsiderate and rude!She was just sitting conveniently in the AC room and doing nothing while I was waiting in the middle of the parking lot under the sun with 97 degree temperature? My husband and I drive 500 miles to receive treatment for his rare lymphoma. The level of care, treatment, coordination and communication are absolutely top notch. We chose Huntsman over Stanford or MD Anderson and we absolutely made the right choice. I had the opportunity to stay at the HCI bed and breakfast under the supervision of the head an neck surgical oncology team 2.5 wks ago. The care was top notch! The whole medical team worked to assuage my fear and concerns, quickly tackle my health needs, and more importantly treat me like a person and not a diagnosis. I've been an instructor at the Salt Lake campus for over 5 years; it has been fun, challenging, and rewarding. The nursing and dental hygiene programs are difficult (whose programs aren't?), but the pass rates for both programs are exceptional. The HVAC program is outstanding, and the director of that program is well connected and extremely informative. In all programs, many of the instructors have been there for several years. The students who focus their efforts…do well. But many students come into the program thinking that it's going to be a piece a cake and it really isn't. There will be countless hours of studying, and homework. And some of the students who fail out of the program blame the school for that, when in reality they either weren't prepared for the amount of work or just couldn't pass. I've watched hundreds of students graduate over the years and get jobs for 2-4 times what they made before they enrolled, and it is life changing money for them. Fortis College is a good school, and yes, it is expensive, but it's a better option than waiting five years on a waiting list to get into a less expensive school. The overall length of the programs are also much shorter, and this allows the graduate to begin working much faster than a traditional college or university.M Stone

Fortis College has a lot of great career choices! It's bitter sweet this is last module, I'll miss all the amazing instructors, who have helped me more than ever! Staff is literally so helpful and friendly, they do an awesome job of making everyone feel so welcome. I'm a very hands on learner and that is one of the reasons why I wanted to come to Fortis, almost everyday lab time, private tutoring available if needed. I love how much I've learned in just this short amount of time, I feel more than ready to get out into my field and pursue my career in Dental Assisting. Class sizes are extremely nice, everyone gets there own one on one time with instructors, hours of classes are offered to best fit with your schedule, campus is open from 7am-9pm. Perfect for working around other priorities. Coming to Fortis gave me a whole other outlook on college, starting from what career I might be interested in, to financial aid, to graduating in march. I attended the nursing program at Fortis College. This program was not only the hardest thing I have ever done but also the most rewarding. I am a single mom of three kids and going back to school was scary! Once I made the decision to do this I knew there was no looking back. The instructors are so supportive, the classes are small and if you need one on one time to understand a specific principle then this school is a great match for you. I spent countless hours after class studying with instructors. The staff are all incredible. I'm not saying this school is perfect but no school is. What I am saying is if your determined and have a strong desire to succeed in life then this is a great program. I received a job offer for my dream job in the ER with a month of graduation and can honestly say the sacrifices made for two years are so worth it. I was looking for a career change, I just could not handle retail anymore! I was doing a lot of research when I found dental fundamentals… I am so grateful I came here! What a great school! It was a pretty small class size, which I actually loved. Due to this we received lots of 1 on 1 time with the instructor. JJ is fun, does not sugar-coat(hehe), and is very knowledgeable. You’re allowed to bring in family/friends to get even more practice and also go in to shadow at the dentist office this school is located in. We learned so much in a short amount of time, and that’s exactly what I was looking for. They also help you job hunt, I started doing interviews only 4-5 weeks into the program! When the course is completed, you receive your CDA, dental radiology certification, and CPR certification. Overall I had a great experience here.Amber Rayne

Dental Fundamentals is an amazing program! As a student you are lucky to learn and practice dental assisting skills in a full time working office. The staff is incredible! The teachers are personable and make attending school fun! Not only do they help in mastering the clinical aspects of dental assisting, they are also there to aid in job placement. TLDR: I'm extremely impressed with this whole facility! Affordable pricing, easy to book, great availability for appt selection, easy check-in and fast, very thorough results. I am very impressed with this imaging facility. First off, the price is great because a CT scan is a flat $350 (at present date). My doctor ordered a CT scan and on my drive home from my doctor's office the imaging facility called to schedule my appt, super prompt! I didn't answer, but they also sent a text link to book. I easily booked my appt for the following morning via their website, super easy, and great options for selection of times/dates for appointments. I got to the facility the next morning and check in was easy. the receptionist was friendly. The nurse who did my scan, Nicole, was great! Very friendly, informative. The doctor who did my CT scan radiology review, Christopher Kim, MD, was extremely thorough. First off, the results can take 24-48 hours and I had my results that afternoon which I was so appreciative of. His report was thorough and he took a lot of his time to go over each of the scans in detail with my doctor.Emily Robison

I’m so impressed with this place for Imaging. Easy to schedule appointments with a wide variety of openings to find something within your scheduling timeframe. During the MRI, the tech was professional and made me feel at ease. The tech informed me when a next sequence of sounds were going to happen and the approximate time how long they will go off for. They had music I could listen to during the scan as well. On top of all of this, they have great prices! I scheduled an MRI for my shoulder without any difficulty. No referral was needed from an attending physician. The staff and technicians were courteous, efficient and professional. I was contacted the very next day and my results were carefully explained to me. This changes the way MRI’s have been done in the past. Proceed with caution. I am referring to the staff at the West Valley location. The staff in this place needs training in professionalism. I am referring to the behavioral health services department. I scheduled an appointment for a therapy session and had to wait two months to see a therapist. When I booked the appointment, I specifically told them about my insurance. The representative assured me that they take my insurance. I gave them my information for them to verify. I was unsure because I only saw the Salt Lake City Location on my insurance end. I always call ahead and verify when booking an appointment for any service. But they told me that they took all of Blue Cross. Today, the day of my appointment, 30 minutes prior, I got a call from a representative telling me my insurance does not cover the service. This is ridiculous and unprofessional for an agency that claims the well-being of patients. I had to wait so long just to be told on the day that my insurance was not accepted. They called me around 8:25 and my appointment was at 9 am.I had even scheduled a trip to California around my appointment. Please verify information, listen to prospective patient concerns, do not just brush them off when booking an appointment, and do your job. Everything was going well at this provider, except for 2 things, the 1st was I felt that my provider was constantly looking for deadly diseases, and the second was that I was terminated as a patient because they said I had missed too many appointments, but the truth is that the driver that was supposed to come pick me up for appointments just stopped coming. After the 3rd time, I just stopped going to the pick up point. Now they won't allow me to be a patient anymore. Otherwise they are a very good Dr's office.Becki Btts

It was a great experience attending PDA. Learned a lot, got hands on experience, the classes aren't too big and the course isn't overly pricey or lengthy. They encourage you to intern or extern for real experience, the advise you on how to get a job not just learn the material, and they care about you as a student. Dawn is wonderful teacher! She's patient and kind and walks you through any questions you may have during training, even if your home with questions on your homework. They keep the classes small, which really helps. The attached dental office provides extra interning for that hands on training. PDA has been great! A lot of learning and the teacher Vanessa is super helpful. I love the amount of hands on you get while in class. It’s also a good time and easy to still work a full time job. So very disappointed in this place. I took my mother there today for an MRI and we had an awful experience. We were told her appt was at 1:45. Knowing that there was probably new pt paperwork to fill out we showed up at 1:20 so we could be on time. No one informed her on the phone that when they told her her appt time, that it was for the paperwork time. We found out later, at 2:45 that her appt was actually at 2:05 for the actual MRI. This was very frustrating. So, they came to the lobby to get her at 2:05. At 2:30 they came out to get me to call one of her drs. She had had a previous surgery and they needed to know if it contained any metal. While I was on the phone with her drs office trying to find out we were told that there was another snag. They told me that they now couldn't do her MRI because the dr had to leave at 3:00. I looked around the lobby and saw people still filling out paperwork, so I do feel we were lied to. I let them know that I had taken off work, my mother had taken off work, and that she doesn't drive and all my siblings work full time. This wasn't an easy task to get her there. They didn't care. They turned us away and told us to try another day. I called around and spoke to many MRI techs who said that what my mother had done last year NEVER contains metal and that any MRI tech should know this. We left very angry and definitely do not recommend this place!Angie Dodge

An MRI tech, Gonzalo, was so helpful today. I got an order for a chest X-ray from my doctor and called US MRI just to ask if i could walk in or needed an appointment. He asked a few questions to clarify my situation, then helped me get it scheduled same day and was just super helpful making the process of getting registered as a new patient at this imaging center easy and fast, all over the phone. He also prepared me for what I would need upon arrival (mask, insurance cards, arrive early for paperwork, etc) and did so much over the phone, that when I walked in, all I had to do was fill out the paper work and get my images. I really appreciate that he went out of his way and took on extra work to get me in their system, scheduled and prepped! Highly recommend this place, not only for their kind staff, but also the clean facility, and the efficiency in which they operate!Lindsey Martinez

I never thought walking into an MRI could feel like walking into a spa. The office was very chic, clean, and modern. Even the bathroom sink was something from a high-end hotel. The office staff was extremely friendly and welcoming, and the MRI tech was the same. Kudos for the heated blanket during the procedure–extra comforting! Nice changing rooms and waiting rooms, plus I love the extended evening hours during the week. Once the procedure was over, they had me out the door with image disk in hand in no time. This is a great facility! The staff was very accommodating and I was able to get in fairly quickly. Place was very clean and easy to find. They seemed to have top-notch equipment. The staff was very friendly and caring, so was the technician. She made sure I was very comfortable during the procedure and was a very effective communicator during the steps of the procedure. I was very impressed with the follow up service after the MRI with the doctor/radiologist. He went over the films in detail and provided information in an understandable manner as well as answered any questions. He was very knowledgeable as well as a very kind and caring person. I am a Sports Chiropractor in Wyoming. I have been referring my cash patients to TaylorMed because of the excellent quality of their images and performed at an affordable price. When you don't have medical insurance coverage, that really makes the difference. My patients get the imaging we need and the 4 hour drive each way is still well worth the savings from other providers. I recently needed imaging so I scheduled myself. Here is where I want to sing their praises. They greeted me with friendliness, got me in right away, and the tech went out of her way to explain the procedure and made sure I was comfortable. I had an MRI done on my shoulder this week at the Salt Lake Brickyard location. I am giving their team a 5 star rating based on how I was treated. From the time I arrived and met the women at the front desk until I was finished I was treated like gold. The ladies at the front desk were kind and I felt like they truly cared about me. They were a real pleasure to meet. They took care of my paperwork quickly and got me ready for my test. I appreciate this level of customer service. They are some of the best staff I have dealt with. Brandon the MRI tech was simply awesome. He informed me on what was going to happen and consistently checked on me during the test. I could not ask for a better person to take care of me. I would never use Rayus for an MRI again. I decided go with Rayus based on the price quote for my first MRI which was quoted much cheaper than doing it through the hospital. However, after the procedure the true billing was double the price quote and no one at Rayus could explain why. When I called to discuss my bill, I was bounced between Rayus and their back office with no real answers. The team I spoke with could care less and basically just told me to pay my bill and leave them alone. After further research, my bill was higher because they didn't give options for part a procedure that wasn't specified on my MRI order from doctor. My 8 year old daughter had to get an MRI of her foot. She was super nervous. Savannah was our technician and she couldn't have been nicer. She called first to verify some of the details…then she walked my daughter through the whole process beforehand so she would know exactly what to expect. Formerly (Varian medical) Pros: on-site cafeteria for dayshift, gym, day one health ins, other medical ins and disability ins, HSA, 401K 6% match, stock, safety glasses and shoes, one company party, so far quarterly bonus and one annual bonus, one nurse on-site during dayshift for employees only and friendly environment -like not so much pressure, just do your job and the priority for your shift to get the xray tubes ready. Some over time, like an extra hour or two or weekend of 4 hrs. Just to help out or need a little bit of extra money but to meet the sales. Bravo rewards for improvement in area and few perks. School reimburse in field related. Cons: we all need some improvement, not perfect world. Lack of parts which will effect sales. Needs improvement in that and streamline areas to have a dynamics flow from start to finish. Need to improve Commuincation and bring perks and increase wage for the employees, feel like top managers get bonus. There is favoritism going on that affects internal jobs opportunity. But I still enjoy it and love the work I do. "Treat others as you would like to be treated." I use to work here. What I didn’t like is how the High CT management would want me to cut corners on building medical equipment which I didn’t agree with. We are talking human lives depend on these products. Then question me on why product was not out the door. It’s quantity over quality. Doctor assured me I could regain full functionality of my shoulder (AC joint separation) without surgery. This is not true. They also assured me that waiting to have the surgery would not make a difference. This also is not true. There is clear evidence that having the surgery within 3 weeks provides the best postoperative results. Waiting longer than that often leads to worse results. Trusting this clinic has almost guaranteed I will never have my shoulder function at 100% again, and led me to endure pain for months that I will have to re-endure as I have surgery and rehab AGAIN. I can't imagine why a doctor would say these things with certainty when the exact opposite is true. I'm disgusted to find out the truth months later and be put in this position. Multiple times in my visit I said specifically that I was only okay pursuing the nonoperative route if I could regain full functionality of my shoulder, each time I was assured the long term impact was strictly cosmetic if I did rehab. I’ve been here 3 times now all for very different reasons (flu, scratched cornea, & a broken bone) but each time I’ve been so well taken care of. Two out of the 3 times there was almost no wait in the waiting room at all and all 3 times I was seen almost immediately once I was taken back. All the staff I’ve encountered here have been very kind and go above and beyond to make things as easy as possible for me. The PAs and nurses really listened to me and explained things very well. They send my prescriptions to the pharmacy across from the waiting area and I pick them up on my way out. One time the nurse even took me over in a wheel chair and picked them up for me. I’m a poor student with Medicaid but they made me feel like a VIP. Thank you all for taking such great care of me! The U Health System is the best!Juliet Smith

Went in for a sprained ankle. Sprained it about a week prior but it was still giving me a lot of pain so decided to go in. X-rays showed a bone chip which the doctor said was likely the cause. Said there wasn’t anything they could do. I asked if there was something they could do to help with the pain and he got super defensive and immediately started talking to me like I was some kind of drug addict. Sat in the waiting area for three hours, going to pay hundreds of dollars for the visit and X-rays, and was sent on my way with a well wish. Absolute joke. Doctor was not professional at all.Bryce

Rude. Uninformed. For being a “Top School” I would of expected to have the information I needed and not be treated so rudely. My interview was with Harkomal Kaur and I have never met someone who spoke to me so rudely. I asked very precise questions when I called to set an appointment. I was told yes they can use another dentists plans. I was informed rudely that wasn’t the case and the people who answered couldn’t legally answer those questions. And when I told her so couldn’t afford another $80 on top of what I just paid with another dentist if they could make an exception her tone almost immediately changed for the worst. I have called 5 other dentists and they all said there is no law against them knowing or giving that SIMPLE information and they all can use the other dentists plans. I’m a single mom and I’m just trying to find a better solution to fixing my teeth. This has been a sensitive subject for me for many years and was hoping I could not only have a better financial alternative but help the school as well. Never will I turn to U of U dental for help again and Will let everyone know what kind of an experience they can probably expect should they find themselves in a similar situation. This visit cost me a lot to do taking time off work for it. And I was treated like garbage. No sympathy. Uninformed. Rude. My First initial appointment was for April 16th, just to get there to be informed that my appointment was rescheduled without my knowledge to May 27th. Went to my first appointment to start the process of getting dentures, for them to tell me that it would be 4 appointments and about 3 months or so before I would get my dentures. So, I thought okay, that's a long time. But, I'll wait. Well, my 3rd appointment was scheduled a month after my second one, and the day before I was to go to that appointment it was rescheduled ANOTHER month. So, then I finally go to my 3rd appointment, for my student dentist to tell me that in just one more month my dentures would be DONE and I'd get to take them home. Well, today is the day before my 4th appointment, for my student dentist to tell me that this appointment is a "denture try in" that I WILL NOT be taking them home with me. That it's going to take ANOTHER MONTH before I can take them home and start eating and living a normal life again. It just BLOWS my mind, how COMFORTABLE this place is with just constantly blowing off the clients. Making them wait for MONTHS AND MONTHS ON END just to be told "Oh, you're just gonna have to keep on waiting". It is SO beyond frustrating. And I sure hope NOBODY ever has to go through this long of waiting to get their dentures and start living a normal life again.Justin Seech

I couldn’t be more appreciative or happy with the care and skill level i have received at the University of Utah. My 4th year student “ dentist” Philipp Lucshen was professional, caring, thorough, knowledgeable and skilled. I had, cleanings, fillings and in the process of getting a crown. My oral health was in need and i like many procrastinated because of finances etc. Phillip was the first “dentist “ who explained the procedures that would get my oral health in line and also the cost involved. My teeth are thanking him! I am 63, have always exercised , had a good diet but always just did the bare minimum to my teeth which created some issues. Phillip is a top notch person who makes you feel comfortable and well cared for. I wish him well in his new profession and am seriously grateful for the great work he did and how he treated me. The new Utah State University regional campus is really nice! It has all new equipment, technology, fast wifi, great design, and LED lighting. If you have been wanting to go to USU but can't live in Logan this is a great option. It has everything thing you need from study areas, snacks, computers Windows and Mac, testing centers, and counselors. The only thing that it is lacking is more face to face class lectures. It uses broadcast classes which is like a big group FaceTime, it's okay but not perfect. Overall I have really enjoyed my time as a student here! 👍👍Eric Hamilton

My wife was ordered to have 2 MRI’s and was sent to the Taylorsville Rayus facility. We had a fantastic experience due to the MRI technician named Orlando. He was very sensitive and kind to my wife during her scans. Where do I begin? I was seen by my PCP on October 7th. I tried to contact Intermountain on state street for 4 days without any call backs. Now during this time I am in pain. It was thought maybe I had appendicitis so of course I was worried. Now on the 12th I got desperate. My PCP's M.A had to get me an appointment because no one was responding to me at all. So finally I was seen on the 13th. The moment I got to the imaging center I could hear Sierra comforting a nervous sounding woman. Without any attitude or malice sent her away happy. Cheryl checked me in and did it kindly and acknowledge my concerns. She was very professional and soft spoken. Bilingual too. Juliana was my I.V. nurse and she did great!! She talked to me, calmed me down since I was being a wuss. Amber the radiologist talked me through step by step and didn't cause me any discomfort. I liked her demeanor and swiftness. It probably took half an hour for the whole procedure. Afterwards Jenna another RN took the time to explain some questions or should I say dumb down the answers for me and gave me some much needed piece of mind. I would like to give my gratitude to Sierra, Amber, Juliana, Jenna and especially Cheryl for being right where I needed them. Especially these days it's becoming rare that people treat and speak to you respectability and genuinely show they're concerned with your well-being. Had an MRI of my spine done here awhile ago. Reception desk was fine. I wish I remember the name of the tech who helped me through the process, as she was wonderful. I'm claustrophobic, so I had taken a Valium prior to the scan, just in case, but her kindness and easygoing attitude really helped me through the process. She checked on me frequently, and spoke to me while the scan was being done. I had the scan done in the evening, which I definitely prefer, because there were no other patients there at the time and I didn't feel rushed. I had an X-ray of my lower back today and the two ladies who took care of me were INCREDIBLE! I actually hated to leave..I felt like I made two new friends! Thank you Jean and Denisha (sp?) Good luck trying to get in to see someone in a timely manner. I was sent to the Emergency Department by ambulance for a bad arrhythmia which required them to shock my heart. No one from cardiology even came over to the ED to see me or talk about anything, the ED gave me some meds while my rhythm was still really bad and said go home, and follow up with cardiology. Cardiology department said the soonest they could get me in anywhere was over a month away. I followed up with my PCP and he looked at the cardiology schedule and found openings all over the place including the day I saw him so we called to see if I could be seen in one of their openings and they confirmed that there was an opening but the doctor refused to grant me the same day appointment and would not give reason. They just said "we are sorry we cannot see you during this opening, have a great day" and ended our conversation. Very dis-heartening (no pun intended) when you can plainly see they have openings and they refuse to see a patient in need.D S

My close family member saw Dr Anna Jones who was very rude,condescending and judgemental. Instead of offering options to help in quitting vaping she abruptly told my family member to quit vaping.other doctors have offered to assist by prescribing meds to help quit but anna refused medications if my family member didn't stop vaping. Anna also made my family member feel like they were a burden when my family member went to anna for answers not to be rudely dismissed! Anna was very cold and ended the appointment by leaving the room rudely. Anna's nurse provided my family member with much better care answered their questions as Anna should have done from the start. I would strongly recommend seeing another cardiologist unless you're ok with being judged and treaded horribly Anna's the doctor for you!Ru e

Ya the wait was long. But this place was well worth the wait. Doctor Wilson at least came across as he sincerely cared. That's why the wait was longer than normal because he took his time in the office. He wasn't rushing us out like normal. I would recommend him to anybody.Tyson

I LOVED my visit with Sneek a Peek. I am on my 3rd pregnancy but never booked a 3d or 4d ultrasound. I finally decided to try it out. The whole experience was wonderful. Being able to see my baby and his facial features so fun. I ended up with some very detailed profile pictures, I got a USB of all the images that were taken at the end. I love the U of U!! Since I was a child we played in the fountains at the library. Took classes and enjoyed them very much!! My son got his bachelor's in kinesiology there and loved it. My father got a teaching degree there. My sister got a Pharmacy degree there. My daughter is currently getting an engineering degree there. My sister got a math teaching master's there. The stadium expansion is nearly done. They are preping for Garth Brooks this weekend. The new suites are looking good. The new locker room is unbelievable! The team that has been working on this really deserve a huge thank-you. The U will have one of the nicest stadiums around.J Mack

STUNNING location! Next to the mountains overlooking the Salt Lake Valley. Easy to find. Simple to navigate inside the stadium. Plenty of volunteers and staff to answer questions. Heavy friendly police and EMS presence. Very clean. Wish the concessions had more variety available.Rachel E Stewart
