20 Best Radiology Programs In Provo, UT (2022 Updated)

Does anyone get the feeling that many of these 5 star reviews are ingenuine? I attended Provo College for 2 semesters in 2011. I believe at the time they only offered an Associates for nursing, not a BSN. The tuition was very expensive, but they sit you down 1 on 1 with someone who gets you started on loans. At the time it seemed great that they were so helpful, but l later realized it was benefitting them more than me…which is why they make that part of the process so easy for students. I ended up leaving because the financial aid ended after 2 semesters and I didn't want $60k of debt for a 2 year nursing degree. The other thing that I didn't like was even though I was paying them insane tuition, they would have us come to a classroom for remote learning from Utah State University. This means you might take a math course from them and pay 3 grand, or however much it costs for one class, but you are basically doing it online/remote through USU…but you're paying way more than if you just went to USU. I later went to UVU and was able to compare the anatomy course I did at PC versus what students said it was like at UVU, and the course at UVU held students to a much higher standard. After a short personal experience at this college, and the ability to compare it to the other colleges I've attended, I wouldn't recommend it.Derek Drennan

I am about to finish my first year of nursing school. I have really enjoyed my experience here at Provo College. One of the the many things that I like about this program is the faculty. The faculty really gets to know you and you aren't just another number in the classroom. Each of them know me personally and even call me by my nickname. The faculty really wants you to succeed in the program. Tudors are made available to you if you are having problems in a course at no extra cost to you. Currently as a nursing program we are working on a service project, where we are making blankets for a local pediatrics unit. This is a great program that I would highly recommend! Provo College is such a great school!! The faculty, staff, and program administrators are totally invested in the students. I felt a genuine sense of caring from everyone there the first time I visited the campus- even the campus president took time to introduce himself and get to know me a little. The nursing program is amazing – all of my friends in the program had great internships, passed the NCLEX test the first time and have found fantastic jobs they love. The other programs are amazing also. I can't say enough good about this school!!!Staci

School here is nice and if you need something cheap, but UVU reinforces the comment that "University education is becoming less valuable." Half my professors were either teaching here their first time, didn't speak English, or had no expertise in their subject. I passed 2 years of credits by watching videos and drawing pictures during class: not because I'm smart, but because there was no content. Like in high school, many of the professors have 30% percent of their grade centered around attendance. Not participation, but attendance. So yes, I ignored class because everything I needed for an A was provided online. I'm typing this now during Philosophy class, and I am not missing anything. Books are hardly ever used but are "required" according to the professors. They gather dust on my shelf. Most problems here need to be fixed across the nation not just UVU, but I am a very frustrated student in my twenties because I don't know where my money is going. Teachers aren't happy with pay and all have second jobs. The building and resources are really really nice but I rarely need to use them since the internet was invented. UVU in general education has the same quality as Khan Academy except here, there is a physical address they want you to come to. There is a good range of food options but mostly crowded into the same building. Parking is ridiculous and there is no reason to pay $90 a year for the clustered insanity that the school created. Use the darn money to hire a civil engineer for God's sake. Once you pass general education and focus in to better classes, the rooms get nicer and the teaching quality doubles. Don't come here if you're not willing to graduate. Location is fine other than the city planning on the busiest road outside. If you're coming from the south east your drive will be dangerous, traffic is terrible and construction has been in effect for 4 years now. Very annoying. Train station is very convenient and is likely your best choice if you have a transportation method to your nearest station. Students who work feel punished because rent in the area is high, and pay low. Scholarships are handed to those without jobs first, those who aren't working for rent and tuition are the ones handed money from the school. Afternoon/Night classes are poor in options and schedule so working at a volatile job is ever more of a punishment. (Data from a few friends and strangers) Many activities, but the activities most advertised in my buildings were focused for helping women, about guest speakers, for the LGBT community, or cost $15. So I've never been to one, though free lectures and speeches are common. Overall, UVU focuses on medium-to-low education and welcoming everyone with open arms. But once you're here, you may want to transfer to BYU or drop out entirely.Isaac Benge

Coming here was the best decision I have ever made. Every single professor cares about my learning and the fact that the average class size is 23 (I’ve never had a class over 25) makes it so my teachers know me, know my name, know what type of student I am, and some even came to my wedding! I have also been incredibly impressed with the resources. You would have to TRY to fail at UVU, because they truly make it so easy to succeed. From job resources, free tutoring, professor office hours, financial aid and scholarships, and everything in between I honestly feel like every single person I talk to wants me to succeed. The campus is amazing and INDOORS like seriously it is the best part of campus. Shorts in the winter and pants in the summer. Sure parking can be hard, but you are 100% going to find that at any university and it is really only bad after 10am so if you have classes before that you will be fine. The social life is great and the activities are fun and well attended. Free food at all times and tons of on campus food options. I honestly feel like the education I received is worth a million times more than what the tuition is (one of the lowest in the nation for a university). UVU focuses on Engaged Learning, or learning by doing, and most my classes don’t even have textbooks or tests, just projects and resume building it’s amazing. Add that to the fact that it is open enrollment and you can see why it is the largest university in the state. Seriously. Come take a tour at least and see how awesome UVU is.Justine Rupprecht

In all honesty do NOT go here, if you have a better option do not come to this college, it is a over glorified high school. They aren't too expensive which is nice, but they charge many other ways, you must pay to take tests if you are not there the first day, they offer no flexibility when taking classes especially if you are working full time. The professors are 50/50 you either get great ones that work with you, answer quickly to your emails, and are awesome. Or you get awful ones that only two kids pass their class, they will put you on academic probation which I don't get because I am paying to go to school here, so why does it bother them if I failed one class because the professor was awful. In all honesty if you have a better option DO NOT GO HERE! I have never been so frustrated with a school before in my life.Kyra McMillan

Pretty awful education experience. The vast majority of professors are terrible teachers. In fact, it's apparent they care more about their research that the school funds, than the actual students and the material they are teaching. So many teachers seem to have the mindset that "Oh, if these students aren't as passionate about this topic as I am, they are going to fail." Of course, there are a few incredible teachers, but they are few and far between. Not to mention, that a large population of the students act extremely entitled and judgy. Kinda of ironic, considering the school is owned and funded by a church that claims to have the most accurate understanding of Jesus Christ. Attending the school is incredibly cheap, however, to which I will praise. The opportunity to make it through school without any debt is a massive help for many. That being said, plan on changing your major multiple times, because almost every program is extremely competitive and very very difficult to get into. This is a school where dreams are quite literally crushed under the weight of academic pressure and prestige.Jacob Heiner

AMAZING!!! BYU runs one of the largest, if not the largest, comprehensive summer youth sports program in the country. They consistently draw student athletes from all over Utah, the Intermountain West, The Unites States and even have a number of international athletes every year. We have sent our own kids for 5+ years in multiple sports. They love it!! They love the week long sport specific camps, the housing option, the friends, camp counselors, student coaches, meals at the Canon Center and ice cream at the creamery store. Try it, you won’t be disappointed :).Ben Johnson

This is a large campus with a number of different facilities. I love that there is no charge for the Bean museum or the Paleontology museum. The creamery makes just about the BEST I've cream I've ever tasted. The Wilkinson Student Center has a bowling alley and am extensive good court and more. Love the Arts center and basically find there is too much here to tell about, but it's worth a visit just to explore the campus. Love the bell concerts at noon.Leona Keesling

RMU completely changed my LIFE! I have made lifetime friends, and we have been there for each other not only through school-related things but through everything else that life consists of. Career-wise, I went from going to work every day and being satisfied just where I was to having a desire for growth and excellence in my profession. I enjoy learning more about my craft now and researching the very best evidence-based practices for my clients. During school, I have received several certifications that have increased my knowledge, and many of them I learned about from my classmates. Now, I am the only SLP in my entire state to provide one particular swallowing treatment and one of about seven people to provide two other treatments. In addition, RMU was essential in me learning how to start a private practice and improved my confidence in myself that I can actually run one! Now, I am running a successful practice with five independent contractors. Also, I am in a position where I am almost ready to transition to doing my private practice full time, which will increase my salary even more while having more time with my family. My experience at RMUoHP was amazing. It began with my inquiry and application to the program! From the very beginning, every interaction with all staff members and faculty has always been very professional and positive! All inquires and requests were handled expeditiously. I entered RMUoHP to do one thing: obtain my doctorate in speech-language pathology. I left with so much more. I've been an instructor at the Salt Lake campus for over 5 years; it has been fun, challenging, and rewarding. The nursing and dental hygiene programs are difficult (whose programs aren't?), but the pass rates for both programs are exceptional. The HVAC program is outstanding, and the director of that program is well connected and extremely informative. In all programs, many of the instructors have been there for several years. The students who focus their efforts…do well. But many students come into the program thinking that it's going to be a piece a cake and it really isn't. There will be countless hours of studying, and homework. And some of the students who fail out of the program blame the school for that, when in reality they either weren't prepared for the amount of work or just couldn't pass. I've watched hundreds of students graduate over the years and get jobs for 2-4 times what they made before they enrolled, and it is life changing money for them. Fortis College is a good school, and yes, it is expensive, but it's a better option than waiting five years on a waiting list to get into a less expensive school. The overall length of the programs are also much shorter, and this allows the graduate to begin working much faster than a traditional college or university.M Stone

Fortis College has a lot of great career choices! It's bitter sweet this is last module, I'll miss all the amazing instructors, who have helped me more than ever! Staff is literally so helpful and friendly, they do an awesome job of making everyone feel so welcome. I'm a very hands on learner and that is one of the reasons why I wanted to come to Fortis, almost everyday lab time, private tutoring available if needed. I love how much I've learned in just this short amount of time, I feel more than ready to get out into my field and pursue my career in Dental Assisting. Class sizes are extremely nice, everyone gets there own one on one time with instructors, hours of classes are offered to best fit with your schedule, campus is open from 7am-9pm. Perfect for working around other priorities. Coming to Fortis gave me a whole other outlook on college, starting from what career I might be interested in, to financial aid, to graduating in march. I attended the nursing program at Fortis College. This program was not only the hardest thing I have ever done but also the most rewarding. I am a single mom of three kids and going back to school was scary! Once I made the decision to do this I knew there was no looking back. The instructors are so supportive, the classes are small and if you need one on one time to understand a specific principle then this school is a great match for you. I spent countless hours after class studying with instructors. The staff are all incredible. I'm not saying this school is perfect but no school is. What I am saying is if your determined and have a strong desire to succeed in life then this is a great program. I received a job offer for my dream job in the ER with a month of graduation and can honestly say the sacrifices made for two years are so worth it. I'll state up front that this is an unfair review. Part of my review is about the hospital, and part of it is about the doctor who performed the biopsy. The hospital stay was very reasonable and I rate them 4 stars. The food and personal care were both excellent. I don't rate them 5 stars for two reasons. 1) the television digital feed was broken – most channel signals were so bad the picture glitched out every few seconds. Many channels would not even show up because the digital signal quality was so bad. 2) the checkout process was too slow. This was a biopsy – I should have been out of there as soon as I wanted to leave the next day, but I ended up having to wait around till noon for a doctor to show up and tell me the same things about after-biopsy care that a nurse could have told me. I felt almost like I was being held hostage there. I half wonder if it wasn't policy designed to keep me there long enough so the hospital could charge my insurance company more for the visit (though – hey – they're both owned by the same parent company, so…) Regarding the doctor who performed the biopsy. The biopsy results were inconclusive because he didn't extract enough of the correct kind of material from my kidney. I'd have to rate the doctor 2 stars for incompetence. Perhaps he was being overly cautious and I should be grateful for that, but he was also ineffective.John Calcote

I will never step foot into this hospital again. We were sent here when my baby needed oxygen due to RSV. The nurse we had was incredibly rude, our room was dirty, we were given used supplies, and to top it all off our baby wasn’t connected to the oxygen properly. We have a bit of experience with oxygen due to having nicu babies and it took us asking the nurse multiple times about it before she begrudgingly checked it and (like we thought) discovered it wasn’t actually connected and my baby wasn’t getting the oxygen she needed. Avoid this hospital like the plague. We felt like we were going to get even more sick being there. This hospital doesn’t even deserve 1 star.Marissa Curtiss

Just had my baby here. I had a natural birth! I had to review about my nurses Jami, Jordan, Abby, and Brooke! They were amazing. Some other nurses weren’t as kind but those ones were awesome. Since I was there for 3.5 days, 4/7 nurses being good was a win. Jami totally helped me with my natural birth plan which I was worried about being in a hospital. I was a screamer and they made me feel not embarrassed at all. The other 3 were with me in postpartum. They kept me stocked and I actually didn’t feel super bugged by their visits. They informed me of everything and when my baby had jaundice, Brooke talked me through options. I would deliver here again.Maddie

They do everything to take care of students! They are by far the best dental assisting school out there. All the staff is completely dedicated to the growth and success of each student. They change lives. I've been to their graduations and I've never seen such a happier group of graduates and teachers. On top for that this isn't just a dentists practice side hobby , it's a school fully committed to you. They don't offer discounts because their value is above and beyond. Nikki is incredible! Gaby and Nikki is what holds the entire school together. Without these two individuals UVDA would not be what it is today. They treat everyone with care and respect. They stay late hours to help people. And the staff is truly knowledgeable and exceptional. I have witnessed it all and I could not recommend a better dental assisting school. Utah Valley Dental Assisting School was an excellent program. I would definitely recommend anyone to come to this school. It is for everyone and anyone can learn. I knew absolutely nothing when I started and was quiet nervous but by the end I feel prepared enough to now work in a dental office. All of the instructors are great (I had Anna who was AWESOME) if we had any questions or were unsure about anything she always took the time to explain. She was very thorough with her explanations and if we needed any extra practice she sure gave it to us. I know it can be a tough decisions to decide on what school to go to and if it is worth your money but from my personal experience I would honestly recommend this program.SUMMER HAMDAN

I came here for a CT scan because they could get me in sooner than Provo, and it was an amazing experience. They were so kind, quick, and informative throughout the entire thing. Sherri was the Radiology Tech helping me, and she was awesome. The anxiety I walked in with went away during the actual scan thanks to her professionalism and calm explanations. I honestly cried when I left because of the relief and calm she helped me feel during the scan. I highly recommend Salem’s Revere Health Imaging. Everyone should go here for imaging!Bekah Roberts

I've been very happy with Dr. Crouch. I travel 2 hours in each direction to get here. They have been very understanding of the hazards of driving highway 6. Two stars because the labor and delivery team at this hospital is incredible—the nurses (minus a horrible pelvic exam experience) are absolutely amazing, skilled professionals. I was having intense contractions over the weekend and went in for monitoring—the nurse who was working with us noted some variables that looked as if our baby was landing on her umbilical cord. She had everything set up for a C-section in 35 minutes. The anesthesiologist was the very best I have ever been under the care of—I barely felt the spinal at all. It was shocking in the best way possible. The reason I am giving this hospital two stars, is because everything went south after our first night. Once I was admitted to the maternity ward, my experience changed completely. I had several wonderful nurses that were very helpful, but there was a small handful during our stay that made it absolutely insufferable. I’m talking, checking in on me every 45 minutes all throughout the night without cause. One nurse in particular would turn on all the lights in the middle of the night, talk as loudly as possible, and wake up both the baby and my spouse when she would come in to check me or hand over her shift. I completely understand that vital checks are routine, but the way that they went about it showed a complete lack of bedside manner, politeness, and honestly felt a bit cruel to someone who had just had their stomach cut open. I’ve had a previous c-section at a different hospital and it was nothing like what I experienced at Utah Valley. Other reasons for a very low star rating: -We we’re offered a discharge at 40 hours. AFTER A C-SECTION. Really? Less than 2 days? -The “ amenities” alone deserve zero stars— the food on the room service menu is the very worst I have ever had. Even the coffee is terrible. How do you mess up coffee? -During our entire stay at the maternity ward, housekeeping stopped by exactly once. By the end of our stay, both 13 gallon garbage cans in our room (one in the main, one in the bathroom) we’re full to the very top. We were not given fresh towels, ran out of toilet paper, and the room service trays were taken out by compassionate nurses. It was honestly very disgusting, I don’t think I need to write anything descriptive about afterbirth situations sitting around in trash cans for multiple days….you get the idea. Gross, and unsanitary. -The icing on the cake: We had not come up with a name for a baby, and were told that we would have 10 days to reach out to them to add it to the birth certificate. Not the case at all, I just got a voice message from the birth certificate department and they filed it blank after six days. Add misinformation to the reason for the lack of stars. I live overseas but when I had a hiking accident while visting the Canyonlands National Park, I was air lifted from the Moab hospital to the Utah Valley Hospital for surgery. The speed with which the ER department worked on me, consulted about my injuries, arranged for two surgeries and stitched up my wounds was impressive. The orthopedic surgeons were fantastic and the follow up care much appreciated. They also acted quickly and I could not have been in better hands. I stayed over a week in the trauma ward where the nurses, doctors, techs, phlebotomists and physios were all incredibly kind, thorough and professional. They made me and my wife as comfortable as possible and ensured my recovery was going in the right direction. I was then very fortunate to move to the rehab floor were I was able to join the physio and occupational therapy program for ten days. As a foreign patient this was extraordinarily helpful. The facilities were top class and the panoramic view of the mountains inspirational. Again, the whole team on this floor were phenominal. Their concern for my wellbeing was so genuine and the care provided was above and beyond. I would have struggled to make the journey home without their help. I will forever remember my time at Utah Valley Hospital. While my injuries were severe and it will take a while to fully recover, I never felt anxious due to the positivity and encouragement of the staff. I am extremely grateful to them all and will be forever thankful that I ended up at this hospital after my fall.Mark Parrish

This is the best run hospital that I’ve ever been to. I’m 66 years old and just had major surgery for which I needed to stay overnight. Everything was run smoothly and professionally. Extremely clean and organized and run perfectly at every level from admissions to nursing to surgeons to recovery room care. The operation room nurse was outstanding. My anesthesiologist was amazing. And of course my surgeon was great.Their attention to pain control was outstanding. I had brain surgery in 2010 at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta. I was in patient for three weeks due to complications caused by inadequate care. It was a terrible hospital to be at even though it’s been there for 100 years. From top to bottom it was a terrible place to be. I would give it a one star. But my experience here at Utah Valley Hospital was exceptional. I’ve also had many procedures there and everything ran smoothly.Susan White

Up until yesterday I found the radiology department to be great. However on June 3rd I had an order for a long CT and I had begged them to use contrast dye which they refused to do despite my arguing with them. I was told verbally by my Revere provider that he had asked for contrast but apparently he had mistakenly put with or without on the order. Well I had a CT yesterday July 6th at Utah Valley with contrast. They found blood clots in my lungs which would have shown up on June 3rd had they done what I had asked and used contrast. Had Revere done the contrast dye as I had asked I could have been on treatment over 30 days ago. I lost critical time because Revere thought they knew what they were doing and they obviously did not. I was told the radiologist said that she could see everything she needed to see without contrast well that isn't necessarily the case because Contrast shows things that you can't see without contrast that's why it's used. I think this is another example where people don't listen to women let alone elderly women. So no I would never recommend them again. Maybe for x-rays but not for something complex like a CT. Although even the quality of the x-rays I've gotten from Utah Valley have generally been better than what I've gotten from Revere. And part it's my fault because I should have just said no and gone someplace else. But I was already undressed and in a gown and feeling so bad after the covid pneumonia that I just didn't have the energy to leave and get another order someplace else. This is also a burden on our healthcare system because now they've had to pay for two CTs for me all because of Revere's refusal to start an IV and inject me with $10 worth of medication. I think they were behind schedule and didn't want to go to the trouble of the IV.Judy Shafer

This is my second attempt to have imaging done here and it will be my last. I have to make early morning appointments due to working a traditional shift. I, both times, have made the 7 a.m. appointment and sit and wait and do not get called back. Like the previous attempt, I have to wait for staff to arrive. Most started trickling in at about 7:05-7:10 with Dutch Bros and Starbucks in hand. I wish that my job was as lax. It would make me having to make these early appointments less stressful because my boss wouldn't care about me taking care of my customers or respecting their time. I mean, it's a morning coffee for goodness sake! Fool me once, shame on me. You've fooled me twice. The unceremonious ushering to use the kiosk and not being able to answer whether or not it matters if you checked in online is…not a way to deliver customer care. There was a line of six people and the receptionist shooed us over to the kiosk and we had to stand in line for it. Funnily enough, I was the 1st to register with the robo-check in and I still wasn't called by 7:12. What happens when a patient is late to an appointment? Needless to say, my health, time and being are not respected here. I will not be back. Your GYN was terrible and Imaging has failed me twice. Thank heavens for your Internal Medicine provider. He's the only reason I stay. BTW, I have GREAT insurance. I'm very disappointed. Come to work on time. Realize that people have apprehension and these results can be life-changing. The least you can do is be on time and ready. Sad!Gail B

They deserve zero stars!!! Wish I would have read the other reviews before getting my MRI done here. I had my procedure done the end of June. My insurance paid them in July. Then I only received one statement, then they sent me to collections. They never even attempted to call, e-mail or text me about this. I contacted their billing office today and was treated with disrespect by both a billing rep and their billing manager. Their manager stated that they don't have the resources to contact patients about bills. I guess sending patients straight to collection is their idea of a good business decision. This is completely unethical, and they should be ashamed of their practices. Looks like their score reflects that! Take it from me – steer clear and DO NOT USE THEM FOR SERVICES!!! I love the doctors that are part of the Revere family, but this imagaging office leaves much to be desired, and I will not be using them, or endorse them to anyone I know!Natalie Hayes

I have been slightly hesitant to leave a review because I know it will only perpetuate the way they treat me, but think it is extremely telling of the customer care of Dr. Harrison’s “support staff”. Without fail, every time I use the follow my health app or call in, I know that their initial answer will be no, and I will have to further explain myself and have them ASK MY PROVIDER. I have known Liz Larsen for over 15 years. I have seen her for YEARS and not a whole lot has changed with my meds. I was even one of her medical assistants for a time. I know what it is like to take triage calls and I cannot understand their current system. Since when did it become up to a medical assistant to determine authorization of refills? That is something that should first be discussed with my PROVIDER before you immediately tell me no. EVERY TIME I have to tell them, “Please ask Liz, or I can go ahead and text her!” Then, they back way up and act like there was some sort of misunderstanding and THEN take the appropriate action. Their “triage manager” is the worst of them all to deal with. You’d think she actually had a license, that’s how confident she acts. I’m shocked she is allowed to lead with a demeanor and that type of attitude toward people. I will continue to see Liz, because I trust her and I love her, but their triage staff needs a serious overhaul.Rachel Looslie

I have no words to describe the disappointment I feel with Revere Health right now. We had chosen this clinic to treat my husband’s respiratory problems. First, they simply offered us a phone consultation, which wasn’t helpful at all. Second, they wanted to perform some exams, but available appointment hours were difficult to find. Third, at the arrival of the appointment we were finally able to make, they informed us that the appointment was not in Provo where we live but in Salem. We were never given that address before, or asked if it was convenient to us. Fourth and last, when my husband arrived at assigned location’s front desk, the attention was poor, blunt, and unfriendly as if all the situation was his fault. I don't know if we were subjected to this treatment because we are Latinos (regardless of being here legally), or because of my husband’s appearance. Maybe they just treat everybody poorly. We feel terribly disgusted with this situation and with the unpleasantness of the attention, lack of communication, and the fast and reluctant service. It wouldn’t have cost them anything to inform us of the correct appointment’s address. The behavior was unnecessary. I will never visit this clinic again, and I do not recommend it. It was unacceptable. I hope they learn to treat people well. Next time they may not get someone as patient as I am.Maud R

Called in to billing to discuss the bill I had received and to get things situated. I spoke with a female named Jennifer & she was the most rude person I’ve ever spoken to in the customer service industry. She lacked professionalism, knowledge, and care for front facing customers. The bill that I received I wanted clarification on and I breakdown of it. Jennifer said “I am not going to breakdown line by line of what you owe, if you want to file a complaint go make a dispute with billing” she then on went to mention “My supervisor is here and she can hear the conversation” she continued by saying “Hey supervisor this guy can call & complain about me ya?” The supervisor loudly in the background says “ya I’m here”. The way the conversation was handle just disgusts me. I’m never going back to this place ever again! Jennifer & her supervisor should not be working in the customer service industry because they don’t know how to do the simplest thing… Just be nice to people. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL! After a few conversations through email and phone call I was advised to come in anytime to get some additional information regarding the nail tech program and talk to student services. I did go in a few weeks ago I was excited to get more information I talked to Jennifer P and I have never felt more unimportant in my entire life every question I asked she said you can find that on our website , she basically gave me no answers and seemed to be rushing me off if anything . I have decided to go with a different school. I had a fantastic experience a few years ago with this school but I don’t believe it’s what it used to be unfortunately.Haylee

I have been a student at Davis tech for almost two years at this point. I have loved it! I am in the medical coding and billing program and am getting ready to take my licensing exam in October. The staff have been so kind and helped me in any way they could when things were a bit rocky in the beginning. they were patient and understanding when I was coming to school at the time when I was planning my wedding. all in all I have loved my time as a student of this institution. Coming here has given me the possibility to change my life. I will shortly be in a career that I adore and I could not be happier!Makayla Norman

Terrible work experience. The DTC staff will completely lie to you in your interview to get you in the door. Management won’t bother to show you how to do your job. Then, management will have the nerve to tell you that you’re not performing properly!! I’ve been reading in the comments that students don’t receive proper instructions or help from instructors as well. I guess it’s typical business practice for the DTC. Saw Dr. John Fang in an emergency procedure at the U of U Med Center. He was the most rude and unprofessional doctor I've every had the misfortune to see. I was terribly sick, and because he had to do emergency procedures on me on a Sunday, he was rude and unprofessional and when he yanked on a tube I had in me, he caused me to choke and get much sicker. This guy should lose his license!!! He is the chief of this department which is hard to believe!barbara kennedy

Husband is a 2nd year med student here and has found amazing opportunities and people to work with. He has loved all of his professors and doctors that he has worked with so far and feels prepared for Step 1. We have loved our experience at the U so far. It is a lot of money but it is well spent. This is an excellent college, centrally located in the middle of Utah County. They have programs for everything, from diesel mechanic to nursing. They have a lot of different medical classes, technology classes, electrician, mechanics and many more classes. Their curriculum is industry driven so when you graduate, you're job ready and employers are ready to hire you. Job placement is high, nearly 100% of adult students get placed in their chosen career. The college is heavily invested in the community and to making the college experience what it should be. If you're a high school student and you do not elect to come here during your junior or senior year, you are really missing out on some big opportunities. Many of the classes here you can get high school credits and college credits for it the same time. And leave here with certificate and ready to work. On top of all that, you can do it tuition free. Think about going here most of your Junior and Senior year and how many credits you can obtain for college for free. That's potentially saving tens of thousands of dollars. Great instructor for the first year HVAC program. I can't say enough good about him. I am displeased with how they organized the class schedule in response to covid. They went to half on-line, half in person. The online portion had nothing to do with RMGA certification which is what were supposed to be learning the first semester. So all of RMGA instruction was crammed into just the in-person class. This was super stressful for a few students who were struggling to understand RMGA material while also trying to grasp the other unrelated topics being taught in the online modules. If you are good at studying you would be better off studying on your own and taking the test at SLCC.Tyson

The student services are very nice, smiling and friendly to me upon visiting their office for inquiry. However, I just have one issue and it was the W-9S form that bothers me. Since I have no SSN or TIN in the USA yet because I am still on the process of applying for it; they asked me to fill out this form even though I have no intention of borrowing money or making a loan. I just felt that it is not right to misuse the government form just because I have no SSN or TIN yet in order to be accepted at their college institution. I have tried to request removing the W-9S form but they did not allow me despite that I was not enrolled yet at their school nor paid a fee. I just did not understand the reason of keeping the W-9s form on their file when I am not their student yet and misusing a government form that has a specific purpose. I believe that each government form has a specific vital role and purpose that should not be misused. How I wish that they just told me to wait until I would get my SSN or TIN instead of letting me filled out a form that is not supposed to be.Anabelle Vistal

I really recommend the commercial truck driving program here in Lehi Utah. Most affordable and best instruction in Utah. I passed everything and even got all my endorsements. Was instructed on a 10 speed truck. I am now getting calls right and left for job opportunities. Just comes down to choosing the right one. There are a ton of jobs in the trucking industry both local and OTR. $3000 for a 50K-100k+ job is an awesome deal.Weston Scow

The Harman Testing center is the worst facility BYU has. They have no service so if you don’t have duo or your duo doesn’t work like in my case, you can’t take a test. When I finally logged in they didn’t let me take, because it was too late and they wouldn’t want to wait for just 10 min even tho I was trying to log in for 40 min.Bogdan Mukhametkaliev
