20 Best Radiology Programs In Minneapolis, MN (2022 Updated)

So you want to be a chiropractor… While morally rewarding there are several key reasons I’d persuade new students from going the route of chiropractic. Don’t get me wrong, I love chiropractic, but from a financial standpoint, it’s a major disaster. Before getting any degree, look up what the average professional earns in the said field. That number, let’s say $80,000 (the average in MN) shouldn’t be more than what you need to take out in student loans to get the degree (with hopes of paying them back in a reasonable amount of time anyways). Currently the price tag of a chiropractic degree is in the realm of 156,000 without any living expenses. Add in your undergraduate degree and you are right at about 200k or so. Fiscally the numbers don’t add up. (Something I wish had told me prior to going to school). Now there will be people telling you, don’t worry about the cost, everyone pays them back just fine because there are programs for dismissal after 20yrs etc… and income based repayment… whatever. However keep in mind that those student loans, will be on your credit report, and despite the amount you pay on income based repayment, banks will be required to use the actual amount you’re supposed to be paying when determining whether you can get a mortgage on a house. So just be prepared to have to rent for a long time. The other problem I have with chiropractic, is that chiropractors are notoriously bad payers. To make decent money in the profession, you really need to own your own clinic. Most associate positions had a base pay of 30-50k and rarely pay over 60 with bonuses And no benefits. You have to be prepared for 40-50 hours a week of work plus lots of marketing outside of work hours. Same goes for if you own your own clinic too hours wise. Now if you can pay cash for your degree, by all means go out and do it. It’s a phenomenal profession to be in. The body can do amazing things to heal itself without medical intervention or drugs/surgery and helps a lot of people. However, for your own financial security and stress, there are tons of other professions, particularly ones you can do with just a 4-year degree that pay better that can be just as rewarding. Unfortunately, if you have to take out more than $100k in student loans, chiropractic is a bad choice. Right now, most students take between 170-240k for chiro degrees at northwestern. It’s too late for them, but do some soul searching… do you want to have student debt for the next 25 years that prevents you from getting a mortgage And makes life more difficult. I guarantee you, there my experience and feelings about the financial burden is not unique. Most of the chiros I graduated with no longer practice and a common theme being regret of going to chiro school. Avoid the biggest financial disaster of your life. Getting this doctor title isn’t financially worth it. To be honest, I’m surprised there hasn’t been a class action lawsuit on this for profit school yet. There is supposed to be a positive return on investment, not a lifetime of debt you’ll never pay off without loan forgiveness programs. (25yrs before you qualify) So before you decide, Google what a chiropractor makes in a year where you want to practice. It’s despairingly low for the cost of the degree.Dan Joseph

Wish I could've given it no stars. But one star will definitely work. The school is overpriced for what it has to offer. I don't believe you should have to pay $100,000 to learn a skill that can be taught for way less. Not to mention if you take on the program you have to take a loan out for living expenses. So it'll probably cost around $200,000 when it is all said and done. The program does not give you enough business and hands-on experience to be successful as a chiropractor. They say their science-based curriculum will help you when you get out in the field. Sadly enough that is not true. I've talked to numerous chiropractors who have went to that school, and have been dissatisfied about the information they learned. My advice if you're going to pursue a chiropractic education probably wait 10 years. How much you were going to make coming out of school will not even pay off the loans in 10 years.Nick Ciliberti

Think twice before attending this institution. I was enrolled to begin classes in the fall semester. One week before they began, DCTC contacted me saying they no longer offered the program that I signed up for. Again, ONE WEEK before classes began. This left me almost no time to scramble around looking for another school to attend for the fall semester. That kind of behavior is unacceptable and extremely unprofessional. The whole process just felt off anyway. They were always slow to respond, they fought every step of the way when I presented transfer credits from another institution. I was somewhat relieved in a way knowing I wouldn't have to deal with them any further. What a waste of time.Adam

Didn’t have the best experience overall. The instructor for the automotive technology class was only genuine once while he was teaching me something. Every other time, there was sarcasm and rudeness when trying to ask him questions. Not to mention half of the kids (quote “kids”) in the class were constantly on their phones and messing around. I wouldn’t have minded, except that we were placed in groups, therefor graded as a group. Received my second degree here and they accepted a respectable number of credits from a previous college. Someone from admin called me a year or so after graduation and asked if I had gotten anywhere with my degree. When he found out what I was doing and where I had gotten in life he nearly dropped the phone. Thanks DCTC for sending me places in life I didn’t think were possible. So forever grateful I was able to spend 4 amazing years at this school. I am not sure what the other people reviewing recently are talking about, as I felt the community at this campus is very welcoming and friendly. It is a catholic school so they do teach and emphasize catholic studies, however there are many classes that center around other beliefs. I never felt like my beliefs were being stomped on, and I am not catholic. Also, if you are worried about your social life and getting the college experience, don't be! You can definitely still have the college experience and attend St. Kate's. The campus always has activities going on, and there are many schools in the area. First I want to say my advisor was amazing she was super helpful through all this mess. I was supposed to start this month but they said they were missing things so I couldn’t get in until the next semester when they had everything. but we had already sent them everything we had sent to every other college we applied to. They were the only ones we had this problem with. They then today told me that we weren’t gonna be accepted due to the fact that they don’t accept the accredited bodies that my school was accredited by due to varying standards idk what that means. This school is way too expensive for an OTA degree. You can also get the same online degree at less expensive colleges. I do not recommend St. Kate’s to anyone. Unless you have the extra money to waste. Plus, their requirements are ridiculous. The staff at this college is absolutely phenomenal (or at least the staff I have met this far). They went out of their way to help me in a situation I didn't ever think would have a resolution. In addition, this school proves you don't need a 4 year degree to get an amazing job as most of their degree programs are 2 years, yet they still retain an amazing job placement rate.Brandon

This place forever changed my life. I thrived in the small class sizes and hands on approach to labs. Dunwoody has close ties to industry professionals that help shape and guide the curriculum. I will be completely honest. I did some PSEO courses here and thought it was a nice campus. There is some struggles and problems with the school, but nothing to make this not a choice for a college. Teachers are nice, most of the students are fine and just do there own thing, there is a couple of clubs and activities, and the class sizes see to be reasonable (smaller than JMHS). I think it is a good campus and should be considered an opinion and not thrown to the curb when looking for local colleges.Burner Account

What a joke… My wages are currently being levied for a semester I did not even get to attend! The Financial Aid/Counselor I worked with helped me sign up for all the classes needed for that semester but did not inform me that I had no available financial aid. By the time, I discovered this (3 weeks into class) it was too late to withdraw without paying full price. I called multiple people at the school but all refused to help or did not know how to help. Though some teachers care quite a bit the majority could care less about you and more about there personal life. Scared to walk around without being robbed. Worst school I have ever been too. Great place until you have an issue, “the person you need to talk to isn’t here today” well I guess “the person I need to talk to” hasn’t been there since 2019. Have really given this school every chance under the sun to do the right thing but nothing ever gets done, 3 years trying to resolve an error (made by the school) and here I still am. And “the person I need to talk to” still isn’t there. The overwhelming majority of staff is wonderful and dedicated to their jobs, however there is a painfully obvious lack of competence in upper level leadership. I have called/showed up well over 25 times trying to get things squared away and nobody ever reaches out. Have had staff email other staff to no avail. I am truly in disbelief at the complete and total lack of accountability associated with this school. Maybe this will get their attention…Ben Smith

When I first started signing up for my MBA I advised them that I had just graduated with my bachelors degree. My goal was to start August 5, and I submitted all my necessary paperwork and cooperated as such. When it got to my transcripts I was advised I could not start because the conferral date was not on the transcripts. The enrollment specialist told me to reach out to my previous school. I did and it was a hassle. I called the enrollment specialist at Capella to advise of the updates to only find out that Capella’s registrar team had already been in contact with my school. I wanted to start on the 5th as it was very discouraging to go through the process to be turned away at last minute. 1). Total waist of time as I took time out of my day to complete orientation and do what they advised of me. 2) I asked to speak with a supervisor who was very vague and could not provide the information needed. 3) I again called Capella to try and escalate the situation, but the manager never returned my call. I feel as if they had me sign up because they were the ones to get paid for each student to enroll and failed to educate me properly in the beginning, which is very misleading and discouraging. Since no one wanted to comply and take responsibility I will be escalating this to the BBB as this is not my fault and I should had been able to start in the promised time given and should have been educated properly.Tearra McCray

The worst university ever! They made me waste my time and my money from the first day, every time I communicated with them each counselor told me something different, and more than a month passed and I did not have an accurate answer on the status of my application, after a month a person from human resources let me know that I had to do my transcripts equivalency again on another website because the one I had already sent twice to them waiting for they review it (and that they themselves told me it was okay to do it that way) was not valid for them to take me into account to start the course this past October. 1- First time the transcripts were not encrypted, so they asked my to ask the institution they send it again but encrypted this time and I did it and sent it again. And after that they let me know that didn’t work for them. So I wasted my time, my money and above all the opportunity to start on the desired date. A very bad job of the staff. Very bad communication with the students who want to start there, and they also contradict each other. They all say different things and waste your time. They are also very rude. I hope that no one has this bad experience, nor misses the opportunity to start the course on the date they planned, and due to the horrible work of other people you lose opportunities in life.Claudia Espinosa

From the beginning of my Master's level school search, Capella stood out. I had a great recommendation from a friend already, but in researching complete online programs to work with my schedule, Capella checked all of the boxes I needed. I had a wonderful experience with my admissions counselor and continue to have great interactions with all communication. I am happy with all faculty thus far and feel that I am learning exactly what I need for my future as a school counselor. The course load is what I expected it to be and the time I spend on classwork is time well spent. I feel very confident that I will be prepared to enter the field of school counseling when I graduate. I went to this Community College back in the Mid-2000s. When I first started, I scored very low on the English/Math/Comprehension Reading so I had to start with the prerequisite course before I could entered the college level courses. After a year and a half, I struggled with the academic (English/Math/Comprehension Reading) and all the teachers I had at that time would just advise me to go to the computer lab/learning room for help and never did help me improve on a one-on-one basic. I felt like I was never appreciated in those classes. At that current time, D2L was starting in place so portion of the classes' discussion/homework were online. I still remember other students never helping me and always correcting or making fun of my errors in writing. There was a teacher's conference one-on-one meeting with every student and I still remembered it until this day. The last words from that teacher was, " With how you are doing in this class, you will not make it and I would have to fail you." I dropped out of Century College soon after and owed a couple thousand dollars in debt. Long story short: Then I decided to transferred to InverHills Community College (IHCC) and that was where the difference came in. The feeling and care for the students were so different. Teachers' there at InverHills Community College were able to help and assist me to improve my academic issues that I had. I still remember a teacher staying 30 minutes-45 minutes later after class just to help me everytime. I graduated at IHCC with my associate's degree then proceed onwards to finishing my Double Major Bachelor's Degree at MetroState University.John Bradley

Apathetic faculty providing misinformation at an obvious cash grab. The counselors are useless and ended up providing me with false information that delayed my education while also costing me thousands of dollars. They absolutely refused to take any responsibility and side-stepped my inquiries every single time. While I did have some excellent instructors, it was always a toss up what type of instructor I would get. Four times out of five I ended up with an instructor who either didn't care about the class they were teaching or just plain didn't have the aptitude to teach the class. Most times I ended up teaching my courses to myself. There really seems to be no standard of education that the faculty strives for. I would not recommend anyone to attend this college. Before I get a response from anyone at Century I'll make it known that I have no interest in filling out any sort of suggestion card or survey. The post-secondary education community here has gone beyond my expectations to support my continued education as a transfer student. I'm thankful for the experienced instructors, who have given me a wealth of knowledge here. The support staff are excellent, including TLC, Writing Center, Math Center, Advising, Counseling, Information Technologists, and Librarians. They connect students with excellent resources outside of the classroom. I can't imagine getting PT care anywhere else, which is why I have returned to Wellspring Heath Center after a recent car accident. Although they've changed locations everything else remains the same. Calm, clean space, specialists full of knowledge and smiles for miles. Dr. Langley the radiologist explained everything so well and even put my mind at ease for future mammograms by telling me the facts and statistics about breast cancer, imaging call backs and how complicated my particular case was to diagnose. I have had my mammograms here for years,. When I was offered 3d in 2015 I was happy to have this new technology. It was worth it to pay the extra for enhanced views when insurance did not pay the extra. The difference was about a fancy night out bill and the better technology was better than the night out. Later, my insurance did pay it. I highly recommend the physicians, caring technicians, and friendly appointment staff who I deal with directly. They call me if they notice any problem and have fit me in their schedule for a call back. They promptly send a letter if there is no problem. Their excellent care is life altering .Mary Berg

Excellent patient care, the imaging technicians are top notch along with the radiologists. My only issue is that there is no online patient portal for patients to be able to access their records online. I had the choice of where to go for my imaging studies & specifically chose CRL because of my previous wonderful experience. Unfortunately, despite the wonderful service, with no patient portal available, this is a deal breaker for me. Sarah the hygienist was super nice, talked me through the process, & a great conversationalist I enjoyed being there even though I was nervous since it’s been a long time since I got my teeth cleaned. I got there early in the morning and got right in. My issue was pain in my lower back. Was examined by Erin Mason PA-C. She took my history and completed an evaluation of my issue and ordered an X-ray of my lower back and hip area. She identified the likely cause of the discomfort and recommended taking an anti-inflammatory medication and also prescribed a short course of a steroid. It's been 5 days since the visit and the treatment has been very successful and the pain I was experiencing has been eliminated. I was very impressed with the care and treatment I received while at the TCO urgent care facility and would recommend it to anyone who requires orthopedic treatment outside normal business hours.Frank Alexander

The urgent care doctor failed to read my previous xrays to compare the current issues. I see the other doctors at TCO who are great. The urgent care was terrible and offered nothing to help current issues of the day. He offered no care and I did not get report for the xrays from a qualified person. This doctor did not. TCO is great until I went to urgent care in pain. He said to take OTC ,which I already did they did not work. This doctor should not be working at TCO since he is not up the standards I have received in the past.M

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I was told I was the first person of the morning and it still took 2 hrs but at least they were polite about it. I was given a nice brace and ice pack for my hand and they helped me set up an appt with a hand surgeon the following week. They did not recommend any kind of pain meds and when I left, I was in bad pain. I had to figure that out on my own at home. Overall it was a good experience and I believe they did all they could for the situation I was in at the time.Cindy Wallerick

If you choose to go here I highly recommend calling the clinic before your appointment to go over the specifics of what you want and what you need to do to prepare. I’ve gone twice now and both times there was some serious miscommunication errors in what I wanted completed. I asked for an annual the first time and they did not perform it despite my request, but did do an exam. I didn’t know I hadnt received a pap done until I called for my results. I had also asked for a full blood work for my physical (the appointment was for an annual and a full physical) and they chose to ignore that portion and sent me home. I went back to receive the pap and blood work and was denied the pap again citing “the new guidelines” despite me arguing that I wanted yearly data, not every 5 years. Because communication had been so bad at this point I did question whether I had heard correctly my health insurance (health partners) rep telling me it was covered every year so opted out but did insist on the blood work panel. However, they had once again not listened to me and seemed surprised by my request. I only found out once I was there that fasting was required for the cholesterol tests (they hadn’t sent any info on this to me nor did they say this on the phone when making the appointment). Since I had eaten lunch they gave me the option of forgoing those tests or rescheduling. I’m pretty upset that I had two appointments and both times I was not listened to nor prepared successfully for the appointment.Caitlin Percy

I love the health center for women! Before finding them I only had OB needs and somehow my OB Dr. acted as my primary until I had a real medical breakdown of some sort and the OB Dr. I realized was not a good all around Dr. I never realized how insensitive he was until I was in his office balling/crying – my iron was so low I was the walking dead, Vitamin D deficiency, developing psoriasis due to my body literally breaking down – the man treated me like a pariah when I asked him for FMLA just for a short while so that I could see Dr's until we determined what was up with me I've never in all my years of working had FMLA or even wanted it but that's how bad I was becoming I was afraid i'd lose both of my jobs. I can't remember how I located the HCFW but Dr. Sonnier is the best! Right away she said "You are a strong women, I don't know how you are walking around at all let alone working two jobs in your condition" I had a huge fibroid making me bleed massively (to me it seemed like a heavy period) she connected me with the OB there who was also great she did the surgery and got it by the root, which I then learned previously when i had it taken out that insensitive OB Dr. just cut it and it grew back two years later . It's been 5 years about now and still no signs, it took a couple of years to get back to 95% (the psoriasis didn't go away) I will go nowhere else the only reason they get 4 stars is because they wouldn't see my 16 year old daughter – you have to be 18.Tanya Stevens

I just had my first IUD placed by Dr. Halvorson yesterday, and I am so happy with my experience. I was nervous because I'd read about the potential pain and side effects, but the doctor and nurse did an excellent job explaining the process, answering questions, and doing everything possible to make me feel comfortable. As an aside, for anyone considering getting an IUD: Do it!!! I can't believe how easy that was… I should have gotten this done ages ago. I did experience some nausea directly after the placement, but within minutes I felt totally fine. I wasn’t sure what to think about Rasmussen because I’ve heard mixed reviews from my coworkers. I was pleasantly surprised to find out this is the college to go to school if you’re a parent wanting to be a nurse. I am married and have three kids under 8 years old and I work in the hospital full time, and I’m succeeding. From my fellow coworkers, I KNOW this is the fastest program to get your nursing degree. I love my professors. I absolutely love the diversity of my professors and fellow students. I know that some have complained about the professors intelligence level. My professors are all very educated. Sometimes if English isn’t the first language, anybody would speak a little slower. This gives you an education you wouldn’t get anywhere else because you’re learning from people who are different than you but usually more intelligent as they had to work harder to get their degree because English was not their first language! Or at least equally as intelligent. People also on occasion complain about the price. I have done the math and at the speed I’m completing my degree, I will have saved more because I’ll have the degree at least a year prior to my fellow coworkers going to more affordable schools I also had Sara Packard as my advisor and she was phenomenal. She almost always replied back to my emails within an hour, and I asked A LOT of questions. Without Sara, I would have never been able to start up as quickly as possible without her quick start worksheet list of things I needed to complete. Thank you so much Rasmussen!Amber Broring

This is my second week at Rasmussen. It is challenging, but no school is easy. So far, the best thing I have encountered at this school is the support that the school incorporates together to help the students. My admission went well because I got a lot of help from my admission advisor, Brittany. She kept me alert and on track throughout the entire process. I strongly agree to listen to her advice if you plan to get your admission process completed on time. Another thing I'm pleased to have is Personal Support Center. Just like Brittany and the admission process, I got all my technical issues solved through Personal Support. Both of these two parties are well-hired for the job. You will like the support team here if you go to this school. Supports and admission definitely earn 5 stars.k yang

DO. NOT. GO. HERE. If I could give this school zero stars I would. The nursing administration and program is a joke. All they care about is swindling you out of money. They intentionally kept me from being able to retake an exam so I would have to retake a course again. Visit the BBB website and read for your self, the aren’t accredited by the BBB and they literally have a 1.19 rating out of 5 and after reading the filed complaints from other previous students it’s easy to see why. There are multiple classes that 40% of your grade is dependent on ATI exams, not the course content, so you can literally pass the class portion but still fail the course due to ATI. I give The Mother Baby Center at United Hospital one star just because my experience here was terrible. The nurse who was there throughout my labor seemed like she didn’t want to be in the room at all. She even was afraid to call the anesthesiologist for my epidural because she didn’t want to get yelled at??? Also she told me to use the bathroom before they get there because I’ll pretty much be wasting their time if they have to wait for me. But I did end up getting an amazing nurse anesthetist who was so kind to me so I do want to thank that amazing lady! Anyway! I gave birth very quickly like an hour after they broke my water so I was literally holding my daughter in until the doctor got there which is fine because no one expected a first time mom to deliver in only 3 pushes! But the WORST part of my stay was in post partum. I had an older nurse who was so terrible to me. I am 21 years old who just gave birth to my first child and she was rude to me and she kept me up all night. I didn’t sleep at all the next night. She kept walking in, turning on the lights, being so loud. My baby slept throughout the whole night but she kept me awake talking through paperwork. She even threatened to put a catheter in me if I didn’t pee in front of her (I can’t pee when someone is starting at me). I started to become very depressed throughout my stay here and even checked myself out after my daughter’s 24 hour checks because I couldn’t stay there one second longer. I did not feel supported, comfortable, or cared for after giving birth here. Labor and delivery was fine I would say but every single time I drive by this hospital I get extreme anxiety which is sad because that is where I gave birth to my beautiful baby girl.Katie Tanski

Amazing place gave birth to my first here! Some of these reviews are honestly really surprising to me. I had no problems. I came in during labor, front desk immediately helped they got me all set up after verifying my water had broke. I was dehydrated so that cause really bad close together contractions but the nurse was extremely nice and kept me laughing between the pain. She gave me advice on how to manage my contractions as well since I wanted to give birth naturally. Amazing staff guided us all the way through. Gave all the supplies I needed to heal with an extra gift as well from them (amazing natural bar soap). Made sure my sons and I wristbands were good. As any other hospital nurses will come in daily to check on you and baby. They did a photo shoot for my son (I wish I had brought a picture outfit). They helped me through breastfeeding. Was a very comfortable room for everyone to visit. Hospital food was hospital food (my husband ordered us a pizza though). Washroom was very clean. All over honestly this was an great experience especially this visit was my first, I am pregnant again and will be giving birth here for sure!Jay Ware

I was transferred here after pushing for 2.5 hours at the MN birth center with no progress and I started bleeding more, my babies heart beat was dropping so I got transferred here. The nurses putting the IVs in bruised my arms and hands severely because they didn’t know how to put it in, I had pain and bruises for weeks. On top of all of that they stole my placenta. I requested to take it home, they told me they put it in my cooler, and to have someone come get it within 2 hours. My mom came to get it, she didn’t think to check for it because they said they put it in there. I didn’t think to check because I had a 15 hour traumatic labor and birth and was running off no sleep. Come to find out this week when I was going to plant it under a tree, that it was never put in my cooler. I’m devastated and heartbroken. I went through hell, apparently had a placenta abruption and almost died, gave birth on no medication at all. And I was lied to about my placenta. I wish I could have it back. I want to sue. I am incredibly sad that I went to this despicable institution. As one of the ONLY women of color from the U.S. it’s no surprise that I was treated less than human. Apparently there was some confusion about an outstanding bill from 20 years ago. I pay all my post secondary and graduate loans through one company so imagine my surprise decades later to receive a letter stating I was being sent to collections, over 9k no less when it cost me over 100k to finish school. This was a bill I could have paid, they did not call, nor email, nor write a letter, they simply attempted to ruin my pristine credit I worked a decade and half to get. When I called to ask questions, I received different answers from various people. The director Michelle Hammesh, told me it was a mistake and hadn’t been sent to collections, but her minion had already sent it, without her knowledge. I asked why they never called me and they said they don’t have my number? But you had my number to call and ask for money 1000 times per year but you dont have my number to be a decent human? Got it. They had zero remorse and in fact had the evil inclination to speak about my dead mother in vain. I truly think this place is haunted and disgusting. People of color, beware. The system is broken and these fools have no problem riding it until the wheels fall off. I’m sure they pray about it, haha. Please, pick any other school, do not give these vanilla coated in-bred parasites, one cent. How’s enrollment? Lol.Kelila Kasim

This is kind of a strange thing about which to write a review but Google Maps asked me to do it. It's a lovely campus with a top notch liberal arts education. It might seem expensive but they have fantastic financial support to offset much of the burden. Students leave with less debt than most other private schools. Being that it's partnered with Saint John's, the experience is second-to-none compared to other college experiences. Students get an opportunity to be in an environment that fosters their growth with less pressure due to the campuses being all-female. At the same time, classes are shared between campuses allowing men and women to have chances to learn together. It is a truly exceptional school. Oh, and if you plan to study nursing, there are few other schools better than CSB.Tony Kapinos

I love the College of St. Bens! It was sad going this time because my youngest daughter started as a freshman today. My oldest daughter is a senior this year so we are officially empty nesters. The staff is amazing and the campus is gorgeous! I would recommend it as a great place to teach your daughter to be a proud, independent woman and have her enter the job force extremely capable with lifelong connections to an establishment that will care about them through their careers and lives.Shawn Klimpel

I used to see Dr. Schoel here a few years back. I thought that I would be okay in her care due to her being my Aunt’s OB and the surgeon for my mom when she got cancer. At first I really liked working with her, she gave me prompt attention when I needed to have surgery of my own. But she always made side comments about my weight, which isn’t her profession, but I was able to ignore them at first. After my surgery I gained a lot of weight, very quickly and I started having other concerning symptoms that were progressively getting worse. I went in for my follow up and expressed my concern around these issues as they resembled a lot of what my mom went through with PCOS. Instead of taking these concerns seriously, Dr. Schoel ordered the bare minimum blood tests, said I had no ovarian cysts, and encouraged me to “go on weight watchers and eat more protein, like hard boiled eggs.” She also noted that Weightloss and birth control were my only options to treat my irregular periods, even though my cycles were irregular before I ever gained weight. In the past month, my new GYN has diagnosed me with PCOS by simply looking at my medical history and family history alone. And I’m finally getting the relief and treatment I need to prevent myself from developing cancer like my mom. A treatment that isn’t just birth control. If you are in a bigger body and/or think you may have PCOS, I don’t recommend going to Dr. Schoel. She is incredibly uninformed about the symptoms and treatments for PCOS. In fact, many of the GYN that I’ve seen at this clinic are ill informed about PCOS in general.Kelsie Mueller

Dr Webster completely ignored my ultrasound results in my chart. Claimed I didn't have PCOS and it was a G.I. issue. I eventually got retested by a different place and, guess what, was rediagnosed with PCOS. She absolutely should no longer be a doctor if she cannot believe her patient when they say they are in pain. She also said "the only thing I can do is change your birth control" she wanted to change my birth control BACK to the one that gave me my period for 5 months in the beginning of the year. It's embarrassing how many of Allina health doctors dismiss my pain because of my age. Do better.Annie Dean

I love dr Patricia Harper but she’s usually at the Maple Grove location. I’m not a huge fan of the brown building you switched to but it’s tolerable. The new staff are kinda rude I had a new girl give me my flu shot last week and the needle bent going in. She was very polite I understand being new but she was just kinda rude. From now on I will just go there do what I gotta do and not make side conversations since it seems like a lot of the new nurses there could care less. I love Andrea though! She is a triage so is Jodi, front desk people are always polite as well.Akira Leeway
