Veteran Review: I attended COTC and graduated with an Associates in Nursing. I can say that it was very cumbersome to attend COTC as a veteran. I utilized my Tuition assistance and needed to "push them along" the entire way. Every semester I had to contact veterans affairs and tell them what I needed them to do to approve TA. My understanding is that they needed prompted in every way and every time I needed something completed to allow me access to my tuition assistance. This includes having to pay for a semester out of pocket do to their delay in assistance and lack of ability to complete my necessary needs on their own. From my understanding, they should understand this. I am currently attempting to apply for my bachelors 2 semesters later and I am unable to receive tuition assistance, because COTC has not submitted my graduated status to TA and I am unable to attend classes as a consequence to said incident. All said and done: If you are a veteran, be prepared to coax COTC along to get what you need.SSG Ben Moran RN

I had a very close immediate relative die during summer semester. When my immediate relative had a stroke, I did not notify my professors on the matter. Sorry, my thoughts are not on telling my online professors about my relative bleeding in the brain. My time was spent in the hospital, hospice, and at work. I missed a few assignments but notified my professors at my earliest convenience. The work was completed. Professor Sample for PSY-210-NA failed me on multiple assignments, accused me of plagiarizing from a blog, and is the reason I will not be graduating this semester from COTC. The plagiarizing accusation is because I had "similar sentences of a blog post." What a joke. Never take a class as Professor Sample as your professor. Do yourself a favor and just go to a different school. I will NOT be going back there. President Coe and other faculty members at COTC I contacted did not help in any matter. Of course, they took the side of Professor Sample.Adam A

I… HATE… COTC! Its the nightmare that will never end. My husband leaves for the military in one week… His recruiter needs his college transcript, so that he can get a higher ranking, more pay and one of the jobs he wants. All he needs is the transcript. We went in on the 22nd and paid extra to have the transcript sent. They told us they would send it out that day or the next. Well today we saw his recruiter and he STILL hasn't received the transcript. We went into COTC and had to talk to them AGAIN about this. Oh did I forget to mention that when my husband first started seeing his recruiter, he paid extra to have his transcript and then they handed it to my husband, therefore making it unacceptable to the Air Force. This is not even close to the first problem either of us has had with them. Oh, maybe you all should check out there 'graduation rate.' Less than 20 percent of people even graduate! I love Columbus State and this is why: Before Columbus State: Growing up, I was never interested in the information taught in school, because I did not feel like it was applicable to the real world. After a year at a private college, I was originally apprehensive to restart college at any college. I was also scared of a community college. I grew up in Michigan, and I felt like our local community colleges had negative stigmas attached to them. Luckily, my older brother took me into the application office in Delaware, OH to take the entrance exam. I believe I tested out of an english and/or a math class. While at Columbus State: I would like to note that I always attended C-State as I held a part time job (10-20 hours a week). I originally attended an EMT-B class at Columbus State. The class was more challenging than I had anticipated and was pretty time consuming. I received a B in this course, but found employment immediately in the field and felt confident in my skills. A year later, I returned to C-State with the desires to go to nursing school. Thanks to ample meetings with advisors in Health and Human Services, I decided to take some prerequisite nursing classes as there was a waiting list to apply for their nursing program (while I worked part time as an EMT-B). During this year, I found more confidence in my work and studies, feelings of support and encouragement from staff, and rewards from hard work. I was also able to sign up easily for academic accommodations for the first time in my life! I loved my time at Columbus State within this year! I never thought I would love school or receive my first 4.0 GPA in the spring and summer semesters. For the first time, school finally felt fulfilling for me. After Attending Columbus State: I decided to leave C-State after a full academic year, and I pursued a BSN degree through another local school. I often look back at my time at C-State and regret that I did not take more classes here while saving a decent amount of money! I would suggest night classes if you are willing and able. I found that students were more likely to be hard working, more mature, disciplined, and also employed. I also found professors who taught night classes were often from OSU and more understanding. Generally my teachers were all very competent, funny, and held experience in the world. The only negative experience that I found was dealing with C-Stat's Police department staff and accessing their gym/locker room. Students must sign up manually for the gym locker rooms every semester at C-State's Police department and then wait for several days for your card to be accepted from security/police. This system seems dated and non-productive. I feel like this process should be easily automated. This issue led to a negative experience I had with a police officer that identified as Sergeant Diamond. I felt like this officer escalated my personal situation while being disrespectful and patronizing. Another time I was eating a meal in my car between classes when a police car pulled up to me and asked why I was parked between two spots in an empty parking lot and then asked me to pick a spot. I'm sure the police department deals with things they don't want to. I could have been lucky and experienced two poor attitudes on hard days, but I do not feel like the police department is fulfilling their mission that states they want to provide "exceptional customer service" for their students based on my only two experiences with them. I would take a look at how the police staff is trained at C-State.Connor Hill

I have enjoyed Columbus State and majority of the people I’ve met here while on track to my BA but this college needs some serious restructuring. The biggest thing I wish Cstate would look into is their faculty. When I go to ratemyprofessor.com and see many of them at a 1 to 2 star rating, that concerns me. I have personally had good and bad professors here and majority of the good ones were adjunct professors, the bad ended up being tenured faculty. I wish the college would look into the gripes students have and start to question whether or not they should be hiring adjunct professors to replace them. The only other major issue I’ve had is from advisors. The point of the advisor is to advise the student on their education path, but when I have a genuine question or concern, interrupting/having a snarky attitude doesn’t come off as professional to me. One last thing, please talk with the finance department about putting a budget together for another parking garage. I don’t go during peak hours anymore but when I did parking was atrocious. It will be 6 weeks this semester (Spring 2019) before CSCC releases financial aid refunds. I cannot believe they get away with this! OSU is 9 days after the start of the semester! Some people rely on these excess funds to survive another semester of school! This should be illegal and I’m pretty sure it is because according to federal financial aid funds are to be released up to a max of 14 days after the start of a semester! Insane to make people wait 6 weeks+ to receive their refund. Also, parking is obnoxious here any time of day. It also seems to me that each department does not have a good linear structure of teaching so each professor is just kind of doing their own thing whichever way they feel like doing it. Some classes are too long some are too short. It really feels like no one is in control here it’s just a free for all I guess. Employees are not friendly in any way shape or form. Honestly the only good thing about this school is how cheap it is. “You get what you pay for.” 🤷‍♂️614 Realness

I have had an MRI at this location before and it was a great experience! The technician let me know when each scan was starting and how long it would be. He periodically asked if I was okay. My scan today was the complete opposite and I am really unhappy with how I was treated. The two women who did my scan seemed to be in a hurry and never advised me when the scans were starting, duration of the scan, or anything. The one and ONLY time she asked me if I was okay was because I apparently moved too much and made the image blurry. Upon her asking, I said no and asked if I could come out as I needed to adjust. I told her as well as marked on the paper work that I have trigeminal neuralgia (extremely painful disease) and am in pain. Why even ask me to mark on the paperwork my pain areas if you're not going to acknowledge it?? Or even show the slightest bit of compassion? I was told that since we're in a middle of a scan I couldn't come out. Okay, fine, I can understand that. BUT when that scan was over she came in the room to inject my die for the next scan I STILL wasn't allowed to move. When I asked if I could move for a moment because my head felt like it was in a vise pressing against my trigeminal nerve, again marked on my paperwork, I was told "you already moved." I guess she was referring to the fact that I had moved and made the image blurry?? I asked again and she said "no, this won't take much longer" and walked out of the room. So I just laid there with tears coming out of my eyes as the next scan begin. When I explained it's an excruciating disease she said "I know, we were just looking into that." What?? Are you kidding me?? So either my paperwork was just now being reviewed half way through the scan or the technicians were googling my diagnosis while I laid there in agony. I don't know which. Telling the patient when the scan is going to start and the duration would really be helpful for the patient and allow them to ensure they are super still during this time especially. I was asked multiple times why I'm having another Brain MRI. (I have trigeminal neuralgia, as stated in my paperwork) The technician then stated "I guess your doctor must want to compare."  Almost as if I shouldn't be having another MRI. Why my physician ordered it again shouldn't matter. It was authorized by my insurance and you have an order from the doctor. After the scan I was also asked if I would be seeing my doctor soon. This made me feel extremely uneasy – all I could think about was maybe she saw something bad on the imaging. Overall, this was a very unpleasant experience and I will never return to this location. However, I will say the lady at the front desk was very nice despite having to do many things she multi-tasked very well and remained pleasant. I plan to reach out to corporate regarding my experience but I wanted to write this review for others to know what could potentially be your experience.Ashley S

Horrible customer service. 20 minutes for anyone to answer a phone call in this place. When you go inside, everyone is sitting around gossiping. Fingerprints all over the glass. After calling them 4 times over the course of a week (each call taking over 20 minutes for someone to answer) I was told my appointment was a certain time. 15 minutes before the scheduled time, the receptionist calls in a harrassed tone of voice to offer directions, after refusing them, snottily tells me my appointment was 20 minutes earlier than the person I spoke to on the phone said it was. I arrived on time to fill out the paperwork and get my imaging on time. I paid out of pocket for this receptionist to act like I was some sort of a problem for showing up on time and not 20 minutes early to sign 4 pieces of paper. She was rude, and when I called her out of her poor customer service, instead of apologizing for treating me so rudely unnecessarily, she says " I'm just stating the facts" This girl needs lessons on customer service and how to make better use of company time. I revised my number of stars to 4 because the owner and I spoke and she handled the situation professionally and timely. Also the Imaging crew are top-notch professionals.Ronald Reynolds

I want to give a gigantic shout out to Brenda. She was very kind, thoughtful and exuding confidence in the procedure that was to be performed. I am claustrophobic and had previously gone to a hospital to have my MRI but had to walk out. The hospital did not do a good job of explaining the procedure and seemed in a hurry. At Proscan Polaris, I was assured that we would get through this and it was hard to believe that at no time did I feel things closing in. Use the towel over the eyes. I had a diagnosis of cancer from my doctor and was referred to Dr Clements. I obviously was a little rattled, but everyone was very friendly and explained everything that was happening and what to expect. I didn’t have any problems with the support staff, and even when l called with questions that may have seemed trivial to someone else, l was either answered immediately by Tracy, who was my contact person ( and l really liked having a person to answer questions ) or if l had to leave a message, l received a call back within half an hour. I did also talk with a nurse practitioner, who l felt was very thorough, and answered most of my questions. Dr Clemants spent enough time answering every question that l had. I did take a fairly extensive list, but never felt like l was an annoyance. She spent quite a while in her office with me explaining what was going to happen, what she would do during surgery and what our next steps would be in several scenarios. I felt like l could put myself into her hands, and l don’t regret it. After surgery, she spent time with my family, and explained everything to them, and then with me(once l could comprehend what was going on). I did receive a call from Dr Clemants when my pathology results came back, they didn’t make me wait until an office visit for answers. I really appreciated that. I never felt like l was just a number, but a person that mattered and l felt very taken care of. My family doctor had a sister in law that was also treated by this cancer center, and he said that she also was very happy here and had good results. I wasn't going to even bother writing a review, but if I can help one woman decide where to go for her cancer care I will. This place is extremely unprofessional. When you have a doctor that would rather look at her cellphone at her text messages than listen to the patient with cancer or the nurse practitioner that works for this doctor is so uncompassionate, uncaring, tells the cancer patient that her cancer has came back with a vengeance and will not be cured, it is time to find another place to go. No nurse practitioner should be able to call any patient with any test results. That is not right. Not of this nature. The patient is going to have some questions that the nurse is not going to be able to answer like the doctor can. I found another place to go for my care and I feel so much better, emotionally and physically. They are so positive and caring everything that a cancer patient needs to help battle this disease and I'm not being knocked down by a nurse that seem to be happening on a weekly basis, and that should not even be working with cancer patients. Go down the road to James, go anywhere where you have doctors and nurses that really does care and where you have options! I pray we all be cured of this beast.Duke Bryan

We're a complaining society. Rarely goes the other way, but in this case, I feel it's absolutely necessary. I was at the Bing Center yesterday (11/13/14) for an Upper GI X-Ray procedure. Going in, I totally did not know what to expect! Once there, I found the entire experience from start to finish friendly, amazingly comforting, very well explained, efficient, informative and (to me anyway) pretty darn interesting. Reception folks were very pleasant and efficient. Both the doctors did a great job of explaining what was being done, answering my questions and showing me some results. The technician, Aaron, did about the very best job I could ever ask for in his step-by-step explaining everything that would happen and why, and guiding me through the entire sequence. All in all, they took a pretty complicated and technical 'thing' and made it very human and easily understandable. Very impressive and very appreciated!Scott Roser

My 31 year old daughter was diagnosed with an aggressive type of breast cancer on Friday September 10th and was referred with an urgency to the Stephanie Spielman Cancer Center. We were told this facility has told doctors offices they will contact the patient within three days after their file is faxed to them which was done on September 10th. The following week she had still not been contacted? She called the facility who said they had not received the paper work, and she didn't have a file? The doctors office confirmed the file was faxed on September 10th. The facility called my daughter back, confirmed they did have the file, however her insurance is out of network and they have to send it to a finance team to get it waived before they could even schedule her to see an oncologist. The facility told her it could take up to 15 days to get a response. But, if she would like to see someone right away, she can pay a $1,000.00 deposit and they will schedule her? This practice makes me nervous in the sense that if she is in the middle of treatment and there is an issue with insurance, will their protocol be to stop treatment until it is cleared up? At this point I don't have trust or faith in this facility to treat the PATIENT, not the pocketbook. It seems all will be good if your insurance is in network. Having cancer alone is stressful enough not to have to add this to it. Very disappointed.Penny Zupp

I was accepted into a clinical trial for a rare breast cancer. I have had better care here than anywhere else. I started at University of California San Francisco, which was a nightmare. I have received the utmost care and courtesy while receiving treatment here. I take notes and have someone with me when treatment is discussed. It is surprising what someone can miss when having a stressful diagnosis. Also, allowing your primary care provider to get updates while under care closes the loop, to make sure that appropriate follow up occurs.laura christian

I have spent most of the last 8 years here as a stage 4 cancer survivor! The doctors, nurses, all the staff and the volunteers are amazing beyond belief. They truly care and listen. The technology can not be beat and the building is immaculate! I feel very fortunate I don’t have to drive hours here like other patients. This has almost become like a second home to me, there are no words to describe the comfort and trust I feel in every level.Anita Cugini

Planned a whole month to be seen, and didn't even get seen and im highly disappointed. The day before my appointment I got call as a reminder I had appointment tomorrow and arrive 15minutes early. I was told they didn't have my health insurance down and they could email me to submit forms from there. They had my email address wrong (only 5 characters long & corrected it) they told me they would send a form with the updated email address and they never sent it. Today I went in, and had trouble finding the front enterance due to the closest enterance being closed had to walk to the west entrance and also located where to go inside. And ALSO had to call before you could enter…. was 4 minutes late to fill out paper work and not the appointment, they said since I'm a new patient they're strict and have to be respectful to the doctors time and the next patient, which I understand, considering taking time from work to be seen. It was literally 4 minute difference. I rescheduled for another month and was placed on hold for 5 minutes just to be told I can fill out paper work since I'm here to be ready for next month…. By that time I was on hold I had already went back to my car when they could have just told me while I was on the phone to fill out paper work. They sent me a text message to fill out documents that I was suposed to get through my email in the first place. Was very irritated with the whole process and lack of empathy over a small time frame and waiting a whole month just to be seen just to turned away while experience problems, not to mention there was only one person in the waiting room….. I understand they have protocols due to pandemic. They have two buildings that look alike, having a closed entrance, having to walk far to another entrance and also have to call before entering the building is ureasonable especially if you're looking to be seen as a new patient… I truly believe this Dr office had no intensions to at least be lenient to people who might not know where to go for the first time, and I would not want to build a professional relationship with an office that wouldn't show some type of understanding for first time patients…..Carlos Pack

This is a wonderful organization. I've been there quite a few times for physical therapy. The physical therapists are incredibly knowledgeable and know what they're doing they have helped me tremendously with some of my health issues I really appreciate them they are so professional kind and caring and all the staff is very good. they also keep it very clean there I recommend going there for Health needsB Dette

I enrolled in Larocks Medical assistant program in December. The first 3 weeks consisted of listening to an instructor read power points on zoom. I learned zero from this as all tests were open book. I was looking forward to the skills (in person) part of the class. I was due to start on the 20th. Upon arrival I learned from students outside that the teacher had become Ill and class was canceled. No emails were sent prior to this happening. First red flag. Once more students showed up and found out, obviously the admissions rep was getting multiple phone calls so an email was sent out that she would take no more calls and students would have to attend evening classes. Many students could not attend evening classes due to jobs and families. She also stated in her email that the announcement of the teacher being sick was announced the previous Friday in class which was not true and all students confirmed that it was untrue. Second red flag. It took them another full week to even respond to my emails looking for a resolution, but the fact that they lied and tried to push people into schedules they didn’t sign up for left a bad taste in my mouth and the lack of communication and accountability was weird too. I let it go and expected to return to class on January 3rd. Before class I receive a text that I am late on payments and would be getting a 25$ late fee per day despite not being in class for over 2 weeks. When I sent an email asking why they thought they deserved money, and accused them of sketchy behavior again, I got a passive aggressive email back from the director Beth castle, who stated they’ve done nothing sketchy and my class was at 10’am and that Covid was the reason. I am sympathetic to people having Covid but the people have nothing in place for when/if problems come up and leave the student scrambling to figure everything out and if you challenge them or point out that the way things were handled were wrong, you’ll be spoken to like a chiLd. Unprofessional . Unethical. They want your money and that’s it. Also, if any rep decides to respond to this with any story besides this, I’ll respond to the thread with the email chain of all correspondence matching this story.Jason Jones

I’ve been working here since June 2021. I have not had any hours since November and have contacted them several times because they were supposed to get my schedule together at the end on March but they have not contacted me back. I use my email daily and two days ago my email was deactivated. Never had this happen before but now I am unsure of my employment status. I have not quit and nothing has happened for me to be fired. I feel like it is very unprofessional to not be able to communicate with your employees. I do want to speak out and say this school does the bare minimum for these students to graduate. They really should not be open. It’s very unorganized. Students are not staying for the hours they are supposed to. They mainly do online classes and the instructors are not qualified to teach. They can’t even pronounce the medical terminology correctly. They talk the entire time and then get off the video meet. They had me teaching stuff I didn’t even know about. I was supposed to be a phlebotomy/MA teacher. They had me doing clinical lab assistant and patient care technician. I get that I know some of it but there were things I didn’t know and Beth would just explain it to me quickly or tell me to look at the book they had. They jam classes together. My first class during Covid.. I had a class of 32. We didn’t even fit in the small classroom. I only gave it a one because I had too. To be honest, any school would be better education wise than this one. Also career wise! Take me for example. How does an employer just to decide one day to stop communicating with you but you are still employed… well at least I thought! Everyone is telling me to file unemployment because I have all the screenshots of our emails from me reaching out and them saying they are working on my schedule and just all the screenshots I would need. I absolutely loved my instructor, as well as my classmates! It wasn't like other classes where you were serious all the time, we did make the class fun. I personally grew close to all the other girls in my class. They were like my own little phleb family. <3 There were some flaws in the textbook,however. Some of the textbooks were disorganized. It was all minor things that were easily fixed. I am so glad that I chose to attend Larock Healthcare Academy though! 🙂Brittany Booher

I have not gone to this school, but several of my friends have. For each and every one of them, it was a terrible experience. They all started thinking they could get two-year degrees, and six years later not one of them has one. Here is a smattering of the things they have experienced: – A professor who canceled a class in order to watch a football game, and for any other reason he wanted – in the end the every-other-week class met only three times during the entire semester – Tests that cover things never discussed either in class or in textbooks – Bureaucratic nightmares regarding transcripts, unclear requirements for graduation, being told a class was required and then later finding out it wasn't – Online classes where the professor logs on once a week and responds to no emails – The school literally does not provide all of the classes needed to finish the degrees they 'offer', only preliminary classes – the degree must be finished elsewhere, assuming the credits even transfer (good luck) – Terrible communication both with professors and administrators, and a clear sense that no one there cares about any of the students at all – Classes that teach basically nothing, for instance an HTML 'class' for which all of the material could have been learned during an hour using google. – Unclear syllabuses, missing graded items in the final grade, midterms going ungraded and never returned, expensive books that are never used This is by no means a comprehensive list. I'm putting up this review to hopefully spare other young, desperate people from what this farce of an institution has done to the people I care about. Yes, the campus looks nice and the tuition rates are low, but you will not get an education here, and no one in the building will care how badly their lies and neglect will screw up your life.Irena

Academic advisors are very difficult to get ahold of and when you one gets ahold of them they are disrespectful. They tell you to just email them your problem which are then returned with an automatic email about where to find things. You'll get this email even if it has the things you didnt ask for. The advisors also tell you if you do meet them that you are wasting their time with questions about the direction of your academic career.Michael (Zello88)

My only college education is passing a semester of English in community college. I like to visit college campuses when I am in different cities. When I was walking the campus a nice young lad riding an electric scooter stopped me and asked "Hey where is the library?". I was extremely flattered by this. He assumed 1 I looked young enough to be a college student walking to my next lecture. 2 that I was smart enough to attend this university (sadly my grades in high school are way below the requirements to attend this university). My pride was fulfilled. Sadly for him I informed him that I did not know where the library was as I was not a student. Also the grounds keeping staff does a top notch job.Jake P

I had an incredible experience at The Ohio State University. There is a lot of stuff to do here; you can never get bored with all the fun events on campus. The campus is always very lively and fun. OSU got plenty of libraries with a big book stack, so you never need to worry about study space. OSU have all the recourse that a student can think of; they also have fun clubs and societies so you can join them according to your interest. The campus bus service is also excellent, so there are no worries about transportation around the campus. The recreational center at OSU is one of the biggest in the whole country. And how can one miss the Shoe the best football stadium.TUSHAR GARG

The university has a broad spectrum of offerings that should appeal to the masses. The campus is well laid out and there is plenty of room for parking and walking around campus with ease. Whether you are a serious student or still trying to figure out life, you should be able to find quality friends and a quality education here. The real question is do you want it? Life is ticking, TikTok better get busy! The student union has a lot to offer there is plenty of places to study, to get your banking done, to get administrative work done, and meet up with your friends casually. Columbus State could have done better but the way Columbus State, offers the class the GED . it’s like the college didn’t want you to joying into the school. Some college out of State rather you don’t pass the pre-test, they still will work with you ,until are you ready to take the test.get better and will be accepted into the Columbus state but it is so different .Blair Blanc

Don't waste your money unless you are going to study Nursing or Law. Reviews say this college is pretty conservative but in a lot of my experiences, it is anything but that. For the amount of money it costs to go to this school, it's almost not worth it. The dorms need renovated BADLY. With the 3 main dorms on campus the rooms are so small and accommodations are limited. Not enough washers and dryers and the buildings are crawling with dust. Poor maintenance on all of the buildings and nothing is really updated in general. The food sucks too. To top it all off, Capital is building a brand new convergent media center for film students, and my only questions are: why would you build something for a group of people who won't have much of an income when they graduate to either 1) pay off their debt or 2) give endowment money back? To me, this place is only worth it for Nursing or Pre law/ Law. Finally, residence life and admissions are a joke because each year they accept more students than they have room for then make the upperclassmen suffer their stupid decisions.Andrew

I find the negative reviews to be perplexing. I graduated from Capital in '96 after transferring in some hours from other schools. And, I completed six years of part-time course work in the Adult Degree Program (ADP) while working a full-time job. Most of my professors had PhDs, including my advisor. My professors were very friendly and our interactions were always pleasant, yet, they challenged me in class, on tests, and on papers via critical thinking. They were top-notch educators. I, also, came to know several professors on a more personal level by volunteering with them at WOSU and manning the phone banks for donations. Yes, they took the time to give me personal attention, however, I also observed that they did the same with other students. Attending Capital was like a breath of fresh air and very unlike the impersonal way I was treated at Ohio State, and even at Columbus State. At Capital I felt I was being treated as a real person and not as a mere number satisfying a quota.Steven

WORST college I ever attended. The professors were the only good things about the school. The rest of the faculty were horrible. Financial aid won't help you or explain anything to you. In order to attend classes you must make sure EVERYTHING is paid for. And don't plan on ever leaving the school because they will screw you over big time. This school costs so much money for NOTHING. If you want to go to a good school, go to OSU or somewhere else. Capital looks like a nice school but they're just money hungry. Seriously do your research and do a visit before even going to the school. Try to sit in on a class if you can. If I was you, I would stay clear of this place and go somewhere else.Kim Porter

Recent top-notch patient experience with imaging technician Susie. She recognized a potential conflict between the symptoms and the x-ray order (foot, ankle, both?), and went out of her way to call my doctor's office for clarification. Turned out Susie was right, so the correct area was imaged, saving me a return trip. 99% of the students go through without a hitch. The ones that have issues fall through the cracks. By far the worst experience I've ever had was coming here to support a spouse in this med school. Wasn't worth any of it. My spouse actually had one section of his step 1 lost in a computer glitch, and no one told him what was going on for 6 months. Had someone told him early, he could have retaken it right away. Instead he had to drop out to restudy for it, and wait an entire year to go back. That was just the tip of the iceberg. Every time something gets in the way it takes months upon months to find something out and move forward. It often has felt like very few cared at all. Pretty depressing experience. I may only be a 7th grader going into 8th but my dream scince 2nd grade is to go to the military and become a surgeon and this school is my top choice I have heard so many good thing about this school and I also want to join some sports there I can't wait to go to college and do my best I will study as hard as I can to go to the college of my dreamsNickolas Sturtz

I am a Sophmore in high school going on to Junior year in a few months and for as long as I can remember I've wanted to go here to become a surgeon. 10/20/22… Back with my cousin she's started radiation treatments again. New cancer is now in her left lung. She's in good hands here, no doubt about it!!!! 2/18/22… Last radiation treatment today! My cousin rang the bell 🔔 and got to take her radiation mask outta there. Such a gracious blessing 💞 2/16/22…. YAY 2 more radiation treatments and it's all done! 2/7/22 Woohoo only 11 more days of treatments 😃 My cousin has done excellent in all aspects of this journey! Praise God 🙏 1/27/22… Back today for another radiation treatment and to see Dr Virginia Diavolitsis. My cousin is halfway through her treatments, by the Grace of God she'll continue to do well 🙏❣️ 12/30/21…. Back today for another radiation treatment and to see Dr Virginia. Plans didn't go as well as we'd hoped yesterday, no chemo yet!! Hopefully we'll get a FULL TREATMENT PLAN for my cousin ASAP ❣️ Here again 12/29/21… My cousin's under going both radiation and chemo 1st time for both treatments. Bing Ctr will be doing chemo 🙏 after we finish here with her radiation. It's going to be a long day, I know she's going to get through it all, with God's grace ❤️ Here today 12/6/21 with my cousin she's just recently been diagnosed with cancer. 1st time here, she's scared to say the least. Upon arrival we met Gayle the receptionist a pure 😇 angel on earth. Very comforting, understanding and she has a huge ❤️ heart!! Dr Virginia is amazing she took the time to explain all that she could today. She's ordering test to see what's all going on. Then a treatment plan will be put together. We'll keep our hearts full of prayers, the good Lord will see us through this 🙏❤️Linda M.

Dr. Parsai is awesome she's kind and very through as to what to expect also her team of radiation therapists Jackson, Luciana, Brian and Olivia are amazing they treated me with dignity and made me feel comfortable.
