Review Summary
This is a great university! The psychology undergrad program prepared me for success in my current counseling psychology master’s program quite well. The faculty are fantastic and the campus is gorgeous. I appreciated Spanish tutoring with Dr. Escamilla provided by the school as well as numerous career development, grad school application, recreational, and internship placement opportunities! I only wish it was a bit more affordable as even with scholarships it’s quite pricey. But, I am glad they pay their faculty, and I do think they spend the money well on resources that directly positively impact students. They have a career resource center that’ll help alumni with resumes, searching for jobs and more! The gym and yoga studio are great. One of my psychology professors had us meditate as part of class and we did things like go outside to paint together and go to yoga! It was a positive psych class so it fit. This isn’t to say the university was easy or without academic rigor because it was challenging and involved plenty of difficult academic work including research! I do feel it was social justice oriented as I appreciated the Mexican American cultural class in Spanish I took told from an indigenous professor and perspective, though to be even more socially just, reduce the price of tuition! I enjoyed that I knew at least half of the faculty and they knew me and remembered me and would say hi years after I took their class; so much better than just being a number in a big lecture hall! It may not have the rankings or prestige of some larger universities and how can it being so small, but the quality of education and experience is high. Only 1 student was mean to me 1 time my entire undergrad career. Really recommended! I would not have been prepared for my current grad program without SEU…don’t think I would have even gotten in otherwise because I was taught at SEU how to write an ideal essay, APA publication format, interview and interpersonal skills, and was able to achieve high grades because the learning experience is so high; I got my disabilities accommodated for instance. Literally the only reason I cannot give 5 stars is the exorbitant cost that limits many people so they can’t attend or will have a lot of debt. Otherwise, fantastic!Alysia Duemler
I completely agree with a post below about how much I loved this school, yet upon graduation I felt lost and unprepared for the “real world”. I think the staff and curriculum is amazing, I wouldn’t choose differently, but St Eds was like a dream state of mind. That being said , I have obtained a different bachelors degree since graduation and changed my field of study. More real world practicality from the programs perhaps would help prepare future graduates to succeed ! Thank you st Ed’s for an amazing undergrad experience nonetheless, that I will cherish forever. So many people, myself included, met their current spouse/partners here 🙂Madison Freeman
I wanted to make a shitpost review but I can't think of anything funny and I also honestly really like St Eds. It's a good school. If you're ambitious, passionate, and hard working, the teachers will do everything in their power to help you succeed, even if you have mental illness or other problems most people might look down on you for. I really think I'm going to have a good shot at grad school with the support I've gotten at St. Eds and that's not something I'd be able to say about many other schools.Christina

I have had a wonderful experience at the Texas Health and Science University. They provide affordable education in traditional Chinese medicine and business sciences to students from Central Texas and overseas. The Texas Health and Science University hires the very best faculty from top-ranking Chinese medical universities and business administration programs. Students travel to work and study at the Texas Health and Science University from many different states and foreign nations. The Student Government hosts super fun events. The students, faculty and staff are all very friendly, welcoming and down-to-earth. The faculty and student interns provide outstanding healthcare at the Austin Acupuncture Clinic. Come to Texas for a great education.Ryan Haecker
Dr. Yu and Dr. Cao are amazing acupuncture teachers. It’s a shame that acupuncturists aren’t considered physicians because the truth to medicine lies here. I highly recommend anyone/everyone to consider getting acupuncture for their body as well as maintaining their energy levels and physical well-being. Love the staff here, the student interns really know what they’re doing, and it’s a magical place to shift your mindset when you first come in, to after you are done receiving acupuncture and you feel refreshed. I have left the clinic with no cramps, neck pains, and other bodily pains. It’s truly amazing how acupuncture makes one feel after they try it.Angeliq Flores
Few months after I got my Master Degree from Texas Health and Science University, I got my acupuncture license. Now I have been doing Acupuncture for few months. Great school to attend. I learned a lot from the Professors and made a lot of lifetime friends from this school. I would definite recommend this school for everyone who would like to seriously study acupuncture & Chinese medicine, and become acupuncturist who helps people with their health problems. :- )Caleb Li

I’m in Mrs. Emily’s, CMA (certified Medical Assistant) morning class from 9am-1pm. I’m currently one of the ambassadors for my CMA program and I have met many interesting people while representing my class. I started the class on January 6th of 2022. I currently reside in killeen/Harker Heights, TX., area. I choose to attend the Austin area Cybertex after visiting the reviews online and the school. I learned that the teacher for the Austin location was also the director of the school, this let me know that she had a vested interest in her students success and I was correct. Mrs. Emily is beyond helpful and interested in her “babies “ students learning and understanding each subject matter. I drive and hour and 20 minutes to get to class and haven’t missed a day as of yet because of the encouragement of Mrs. Emily and the subject matters interest me and I don’t want to miss anything. I could have chosen to go to a number of other CMA that were closer to home but I drive here because of Mrs. Emily and her teaching style. If you are looking to get your foot into healthcare or trying to get a leg up on getting into a competitive nursing school program, like I am, this is an awesome place to start and an amazing instructor to learn from. Thank you Mrs. Emily.First Lady
Making the choice to attend CyberTex has been one of the best decisions I have made. From day one, the staff was friendly and accommodating, and ensured that any concerns I had were addressed and I truly felt I was in good hands and not just a number like at other institutions. The instructors are welcoming and knowledgeable. They truly take the time to make new students feel like an asset to the school. Specifically Mrs. Emily, the director and day-time instructor for the CCMA program makes the learning process engaging for students with all levels of medical background. She always goes above and beyond to ensure that the content used in class is relevant and does not shy away from making necessary correlations between the curriculum and real life applications. Her extensive experience and enthusiasm for the field is ever-apparent and makes for a truly refreshing learning experience that every classroom should aim to mimic. The work she assigns is of a level that effectively reinforces the material covered in class but also allows for students to maintain a good amount of time for life outside of school. I am thankful that she tailors the course to not only the end of course certification tests, but also to the limits of what we as students are wanting to learn.Kameron Hill
If you are contemplating on attending CyberTex for the Medical Assistant (MA) Program, just do it! Mrs. Emily Winston, Director of the MA Program and the instructor of the day class. Mr. Bell is the instructor of the night class. These two instructors are not only awesome, but make an awesome team. They compliment each other as teaching partners as they both teach in their own different ways, but yet, have the same purpose….helping and teaching their students. Classes are packed full of the Body Systems and much much more that will get you ready for the CCMA Certification. I am in the day class with Mrs. Winston and the way she teaches for a slow , old timer (like me) is perfect!!! I didn't go to college as school wasn't for me. Although, since being in Mrs. Winston's class, I am at 100% with my grades which is absolutely amazing and all thanks to her and her teaching style. If I can do it, anyone can. Our class is a fun bunch. Add Mr. Bell from the night class into our day mix and man oh man….we are rockin'. Labs are hands on. We practice injections and drawing blood on each other, the real deal. Come join the MA Program, you won't regret it!!!!!!!Elaine Vinklarek

Dr. Rodriguez, is one of a kind. He did a major surgery on my knee and is so down to earth and humble. He's clearly very smart and knows what he's doing but strives to connect with the patient. He will help you with any problem you are having and he will do that in a timely manner. I was nervous about getting a surgery but he did an excellent job and I am making progress everyday. He also called me the day before my surgery and told me that it was going to be a challenge and asked if I was really up for it. This was so inspiring because he did not sugar coat how much of a challenge it will be in physical therapy after the surgery. I would highly recommend him if you need a knee surgery or have knee problems. I could not be happier with my experience. Also Christopher Phillips is a class act. He is so caring and calm and collected with his cadence on the phone, it really makes you feel like he cares. Chris called everyday after my surgery to see how I was doing. It was awesome! He also helped with ordering meds and corresponding to Dr. Rodriguez. He was also free to help out and care for the patient. I could not ask for a better side kick then Chris.Someone special
I've been to Texas Orthopedics for several issues over the last 15 years and have always had great service and care. Today at the Cedar Park office, however, I was very concerned with how an elderly patient was treated at the front desk. The gentleman had difficulty checking in online, so the woman checking him in took him through the entire laundry list of personal questions you have to answer in the online app, including what medications he was taking, whether he lived alone or not, if he was experiencing "bathroom urgency", etc. The man was hard of hearing so the entire conversation happened at a volume where everyone in waiting room could hear. It was humiliating to the patient and the staff person was visibly frustrated with him. IMO, it would have been more appropriate to just check the man in and go through those questions in a patient care room. Please reconsider how you handle patients who are elderly or those with special needs who, for whatever reason, cannot or do not comply with the prescribed electronic check-in procedures. Their privacy matters, too.Kristy Hansen
We have been very impressed with the level of communication we have received about my dad's upcoming hip surgery. The staff at Texas Orthopedics has been wonderful about getting back to us in a timely manner. Marivel has been amazing at answering all of our questions and working with us! She deserves 5 stars for sure! Dr. MacArthur was very patient and took the time to listen to and answer any questions my dad or myself had about his upcoming procedure. I cannot say enough how far their communication has gone with our family. They are definitely going above and beyond to make sure we are getting all questions answered. Wonderful job!!!Ashlea Marks

Review Summary
The difference in the Heart Hospital from 2006 to 2022 for us was horrible this time. Starting with the “hall monitor” for the waiting room! She was not even nice about anything. She was accusatory with her looks when wanting to know if three people were all together! Already being stressed for my husband having an 8 hour open heart surgery then to have to deal with HER!! (I was going to give her attitude, but we all knew she already had a BAD one of her own). Man if we need same surgery done ever again we will take Seton over Heart Hospital any day of the week !!! Nurses in ICU and 2 nurses on room floors were great the others need some maturity and bedside manner taught to them. The alarms going off in rooms with NO monitoring them or silencing them was unbelievable! Believe me, we as patients do not want to be there anymore than they want to tend to the patients but hours upon hours of listening to the system monitor alarms is enough to give any patient additional heart issues and stress. No wonder heart rates get up to 157!!! Dr orders a new IV site to get heart rate down STAT and 3 hours later I have to demand something gets done now should not be their new normal. It is a shame patients need to have family stay with them 24/7 while inpatient because they cannot get help from nursing staff. If there is a hiring issue then find a way to get patients taken care of or close your doors as a hospital! Heart hospital needs to go back to the days of 2006 (A grade)and learn all they were doing right, because 17 years later they would get at least a Failing grade from this patient.Janet king
My ER visit to the heart hospital was great. I felt safe and cared for at a moment I was very worried about my well being. Highly professional. The follow up however was chaotic and seemed to miss the primary goal of continuity of care. None of my doctors received ANY medical records of any kind. Amazing since I signed at least 10 different forms or screens while I was there. They did manage to get my phone number and kept texting me to pursue follow up care. However, after a week since my ER visit and my repeatedly asking for them to send the information to my Primary care and the cardiologist that they referred me to, I am going to have to drive over to the heart hospital to get my record to take to my appointment. My Primary will not get the information in time to make a request of my HMO which means that I will have to pay out of pocket. So for all the automation generated by my signatures, the heart hospital could not simply fax this information upon my discharge even though they had all the information they needed to do so. I am writing this because my attempts to explain this to the staff today was met with justification of their systems and procedures. A step back and look with the goal of those procedures with aid to patient careTheodore Carlos
Efficient, professional, cheerful, friendly, kind and caring care = excellency in every second of my experience at Austin Heart Hospital. I recently had a Right Heart Catheterization and my nurse, Carolyn, was awesome; as well as the other nurses and staff that were helping…including the young man that came to my room to do an ECHO ultrasound…were awesome, too! An Outstanding experience! I've been to Mayo Clinic in Rochester MN four times and my experience at Austin Heart Hospital far exceeds my excellent Mayo Clinic experience…so that means Austin Heart Hospital is truly outstanding! We are blessed to have this kind of care in Austin!Claudia Miller

ARA Georgetown is a wonderful experience, and I would suggest it to anyone. They have a lovely, large waiting area. Their staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Patients are called back for their procedures in a very timely manner. Everything is clean and orderly. I received wonderful care from Ben and Dr. Pong who both ensured that I had little to no anxiety about my spinal procedure. I am pleased to recommend ARA Georgetown to anyone needing imaging.Roxanne Marissa Bassett
The staff here is wonderful. The front office staff was getting yelled at by a customer over something that wasn't their fault. They handled it wonderfully. And then when I forgot my paperwork from my doctor they went out of their way to help me get in touch with my doctors office and squeezed me in when I missed my appointment time as a result. I would 100% recommend this place.Christina Xin

You want to take a guess why this place doesn't need any appointments. Because all they do is make you waste your time. Literally just drove 20 minutes to this place just for them to tell me that they couldn't verify my insurance when they had in fact already told me to come in. They only told me to come in because they wanted me to pay that self pay which is around $350 for one look. It's absolutely outrageous that a place like this would still be open. Especially when they're treating people like cattle just bringing them in by the dozens.. I would highly suggest that you go to another place that doesn't treat you like you're going to McDonald's. Please don't waste your time coming to a place that is a complete waste of time.GRo Gomez
I needed to get into see my orthopedist and he was fully booked. I woke up with horrible pain in my right knee and I’m heading to DC for a weeklong trip with lots of walking. There was no way that I was going to make it, if I didn’t get into see a doctor. My friend recommended me to Direct Orthopedic Care and was seen by a PA named Chris who was excellent; great communicator and patient when I kept asking questions. Very thorough with treatment options short term for my trip & long term possible recurrence and stabilization. Front office staff and nurses were also excellent. Very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful with a quick & smooth check in/checkout.Joy Sorich
I love Dr Chris Raymond. He took the time to answer my questions and listened to my concerns. He didn’t rush me and took the time to address everything. That is important to me because too many doctors do not take the time to listen. They rush in and out. Dr Raymond has very good bed side manners!! Let’s not forget the ladies checking us in too. They were very friendly and very lovely to talk to, some other doctors offices could learn a thing from these guys. They are the face of the business, keep up the great work!Tammy Rhodes

ARA is an excellent, professional, provider at any location I have been. ARA staff always make sure I feel safe and comfortable. They are friendly, thoughtful and kind! They even let me take the comfortable pillow home.Myrna Schoenfeld
ARA staff at Southwest Medical Village are wonderful. They are kind, knowledgeable, and patient. The over all experience at Southern Careers Institute, Austin Campus was a huge change in Dynamic, Routine, and overall educational experience. While the Directors do their very best to assist all students in achieving their long term goals to attain a whole career, they make sure that they have the time to be human as well and go above and beyond to make sure that the students are at their best mindset. This past year that I have spent with them feels more like 10 years of experience with so many different students that I met, nurtured and felt the experience of seeing them graduate. My over all personal experience is one that I will never regret and over all feel that this is a home for those who love to help others, to the point where there are no options left to exhaust in order to make sure the student climbs another step in their life choices. SCI does care, they have a heart and will do anything to make sure that those who are looking for a chance or opportunity to better themselves no matter the past have it here. I want to thank all of those who have helped me and supported me through my role as an admissions rep for a year. I also want to thank my students who made me feel a whole person as I saw them grow and change into new people who have the hope, excitement, and drive to do their best. Once again. Thank you SCI, for the opportunity and great experience you have provided! Over and out- VL Admissions Rep. PS. To my students, Keep hitting it hard. Your experience will flourish as soon as you hit that first job! Don't ever give up, and don't look back at the past. "Arriba y Adelante"- VL's GrandmotherVito Lozano
In my experience with this School, I Do Not Recommend. If wasn’t for the instructor Rodrigo, which is a great guy and CDL instructor, I would leave the school on my first day, and I wanted to, he was the one that convinced me to stay. The administration made me fell that they care about you only until they get your money, after that there is no follow up. They advertised that you can get ready in 4 weeks. Absolutely NOT TRUE. I asked in person 4 times , and they told me Yes, it can be done most likely in 6 weeks, I believed and enrolled myself, but took more than 2 months. That’s because after they take my money , they said they have too many students and the schedule is full . And it doesn’t matter if you have a life outside the school ( which everyone has) and tell them that you can’t make in certain hour of the day, they still make the schedule as you are there just to do what they tell you to do. And they schedule you in the worse DPS to be tested , just because to call and schedule in a better one is to much work. That is my experience with the school. People that I’ve meet throughout the course are also unhappy. But if you don’t have any experience with trucks, have the time and pacience to be there 2 months at least, the instructor Rodrigo is the right guy. He makes you calm and confident about driving that huge truck.Elson De Oliveira
I'm not one to normally post negative reviews, however this needs to be put out there. I have not attended this institution, this is solely based off of the experience I have received after accepting one call. I made a grave mistake of agreeing to hearing this institution out on trying to get me to apply and attend. This was back in July/ early August. I heard out their entire spiel over what they offer, and after I told the recruiter I did not have the money to attend (nor would I in the near future) they began their consistent harassment. They have been constantly calling me from different numbers after I had blocked the initial number because the recruiter began calling me back to back to back after I declined her calls while I was at work, I now receive constant emails from DIFFERENT email addresses even after I unsubscribed from all emails and reported as spam. They are still reaching out to me to this day through text and new phone numbers. From what I have experienced based off of this is that this place just wants your money.Aden Russell

Review Summary
This is one of the greatest concepts and best medical centers I’ve ever experienced. I accompanied a friend last month to the Austin Emergency Center on Far West Blvd. She thought she had a blood clot. They immediately took her in, ran all the appropriate tests, and made a very accurate diagnosis. Last night I found myself there with my own medical challenge. From the moment I checked in until I was discharged, I was seen by multiple physicians, nurses, technicians and staff, all highly credentialed and skilled. This place truly represents high-quality care with incredible compassion. I was accurately diagnosed and left there feeling much better physically and highly reassured. This is far more than a North Austin emergency center. It’s a destination point for anyone who needs excellent care given by exceptional professionals who are relentless in their pursuit of diagnoses and treatment. The center has all the expertise and state-of-the-art equipment in one spot, and they turn around test results very quickly. The rooms are pristine and clean. Special thanks to Drs. Ely and Anaya, Paul, Pablo, the radiological technician, Sierra and everyone at the Far West location. Finally, I couldn’t believe the cost. Far less expensive than I ever imagined. Came to town for business and never expected to need an ER. So thankful I found this Amazing group of providers. I was greeted by Victoria at the front desk who could see I was in a great deal of pain she was so quick to get me checked in. Alyssa was such a caring nurse l, while I know she had other patients to take care of she always made me feel like she cared about me and was only a call away if I needed anything. Carli took such great care of me for my CT, explaining everything to me and was so very compassionate about my pain. Dr Campbell was such an outstanding physician. She took the time to answer all my questions and got me started on fluids and nausea and pain medicine right away. This was my first time ever needing an ER while I was out of town, I was concerned that I maybe treated differently since they knew I was leaving the next day to go back home seems like they could have cared less thinking this patient will most likely not be back. I was so wrong, that could not be farther from the truth. Absolutely the BEST ER experience of my life! I plan to be back in Austin again in a couple months for work and I hope I don’t need an ER but if I do I know exactly where I am going!Kristy Watson
They were awesome. Got seen pronto. Pain relieved really, really quickly. Super helpful and friendly staff. Excellent doctor who was gracious with his time in answering our questions. The total charge was so reasonable I could hardly believe it. I had an emergency room experience at a nearby major hospital two months before. The time waited, the service, etc. — the difference was insane. The major hospital charged me more for "pharmacy services" i.e., one pain pill and one anti-biotic pill, than these guys did for the entire visit (wounds pretty comparable.) The total difference in bills was insane. I think the major hospital was literally like 7X as expensive for very comparable issues. Anything short of a gunshot or major heart attack, I am coming here and not to a major hospital.Glenn Hall

I went to Nova Medical Center for a physical that my employer requested. I first waited around 40 minutes for them to start the physical. They did the routine physical tests and proceeded to put me in a room and told me to wait for the doctor. No one came to the room for 1.5 hours, and when the doctor finally showed up (with a bad attitude), all she did was listen to my heart rate and the visit was over. This clinic clearly has no type of respect towards their patients’ time. I would never recommend this clinic to anyone else. I only went there bc my employer requested it. If you have to go, plan at least 3 hours of your day for the visit.Ainara Almeida
Love the staff- but the music played in the waiting room area is a disgrace! Lyrics "I like my kisses down low makes me arch my back"- this is a medical facility- it should be professional- if that is the music you choose to listen to at home- that is your business but you do not put that in a waiting room where there are people: children, young adults- fortunately I was the only one there when that song was being played- whoever is responsible for this should be ashamed of themselves – you are planting seeds into young minds that have no business being thereGod's Child
After waiting an hour to sign paperwork I was able to talk to the front desk ladies and they was very rude. The doctor was rude and dismissive to my Injury. Having a neck, should and arm go num after a car accident I noticed I only spent 5 minutes with the doctor only to tell me I was fine and what I was feeling was normal and I should return back to work the next day. She was very inconsiderate of .y pain.Xfactor 8020

Fantastic! I've been attending DeVry for just over 2 1/2 years and will graduate with my bachelor degree this Summer! I have also worked on campus as a student worker and love that as well. The faculty cares about their students and try their best to help students succeed. The staff also care about the students, as I mentioned, I have worked as a student worker with the staff, and from that I have been able to see who they really are. They truly care about the students and genuinely want each student to succeed. They are all very helpful and their main goal is not meeting quotas, but rather seeing every one of the students reach their educational goals. Fantastic University!Charlene Lewis
Devry University has been one of the best schools I have attended and proud to say I will graduate in 2019. In my experience what makes Devry and an excellent University is the staff . As many students know, it can be a big challenge registering, tutoring and most important finding a great advisor that helps you transition to Devry University. My advisors Melissa Callaway from Austin tx and Melissa Hickock from San Antonio tx have been a great help for me. These women helped me tremendously and I want them to know I am so greatful for their help…Thanks, Sylvia KennonS Kenn

I have most of my procedures done here. Everyone is so welcoming and truly caring. Starting with efficient and friendly front desk. The facility is spotless, the patient area is roomy. Everyone is very communicative. They even have heated blankets! I was able to select my going to sleep jams (Hello Bee Gees). If you are fortunate enough to be treated by Dr. Church and Church's Angels, they will put you at ease and be well taken care of. Kristin was my after care nurse and was so compassionate and truly caring. I cannot say enough great things about my experience. When people know what they are doing it with a caring touch, it means the world when you are in pain. Would recommend to everyone who loves to be treated and cared for. And Dr Church will always be a unicorn in the land of Dr's. Really listens and helps you advocate for yourself!angela M
Great staff and it was very quick to get in and out. Everyone made me feel comfortable and explained what was going to happen and what to do afterwards. I was nervous because I was getting a epidural steroid injection and opted for the local anesthetic and I was surprised how well it went. Dr Patel was really great and made my procedure as painless as possible. I’ve excruciating pain for so long and I finally feel some relief and I’m looking forward to actually being able to function normally and not have to be on my couch or in bed crying in pain. I definitely recommend Dr Patel and the surgery center!Misty Flippin
I was here for breast surgery and I truly appreciate the outstanding patient care. Jordan was a great nurse and communicated with me throughout the day. Without a doubt the anesthesiologist was the best ever. I've had numerous surgeries under general anesthesia and this experience was superior to them all. I appreciate feeling alert even when they were transitioning me from surgery table to transport bed for post-op. No crazy lingering sedation feeling .. just a gently waking up with the surgery completed. I highly recommend this facility for any outpatient surgeries or procedures.Carol McGowen

The office was very clean when I got there. I like how you can sign up online and they will text you when they are ready for you to head over for your appointment. I got there at 10:35am and was seen at about 11:40am. Once I was in the back they were very courteous, patient and took the time to understand my symptoms and talk to me about my options without pressuring me to do anything. I had gone in with a sore throat, massive headache and pain in my ears. All in all, I suffer from sinusitis and it looked to be just another case of it but she did suggest that I take a COVID test, even if it’s an over the counter. The visit is a little high, starting at $150 for the visit (I am self pay). I recommend this clinic and Dr. Suzanne Benthuysen is great!Michelle Henley
I had never been to Urgent Care for treatment until now. I had burned my arm a week ago and it was not getting better. I had decided to go to Care Now Urgent Care off IH-35/Canyon Ridge instead of the ER. I was told upon checking in, that there would be a 2 hr. wait as they were receiving patients from other closed locations & only had one doctor on staff. I decided it would still be quicker than going to hospital ER. I was the last patient to be seen. Staff & doctor were very polite & professional. They didn't make me feel like they were rushing me out the door, but took their time in addressing my medical problem. I would recommend this location for minor emergencies.Bonnie Yett
Stay away at all costs. My family has consistently had terrible experiences here. In our latest visit we waited over an hour and were then told it would be another hour and we should just go to the urgent care in Round Rock. Update: After several attempts I was able to get the manager of the office on the phone. She claimed that no one at the location did anything wrong and refused to apologize. She refused to tell me who she reports to and wouldn't give me a direct number, only the front office number. I called it while she was on the line and then merged the calls, she refused to stay on the line and then hung up.Shane Blackshear

Don't to hybrid courses. Stay online if you want to save some time and gas. Ms.Lopez, who teaches the final course for certification, doesn't consider a student's busy life. She keeps each assignment locked and open for less than 24 hours. Students are required to do an internship. My wife is a Dean list student with a 4.0 average. She works a 15-hour work day while I'm on active duty for the military. If the school requests more from a student, there needs to be better communication and understanding if needs academically aren't met. If a student has such a complex schedule while working a full-time job and internship, there should be an effort to keep classwork unlocked and available to the deadline. Ms.Lopez failed to understand what a hybrid course is. She would have to go to class to do online work. If most of the work is online, why not keep all assignments open so the student can work ahead to avoid incomplete tasks? It's very thought-provoking to think that if the course's work were open for the duration of the system, then most students would complete all the work early to account for sleep and other daily life activities. In my eyes, I don't see that as an issue. In my experience, it was encouraged to work ahead. I now have to pay for my wife to retake the course and pay another time. This feels like the school wants more money. I could take her transcript and take a class with a more memorable teacher in community college for way less or possibly free. It's crazy to think that I could save money by paying for my wife's certification test for a couple of hundred because the school will not reward her certification until the course is completed. Let us not forget that she paid for the cert in the tuition. Don't think the certification test is free cause it's not; you paid for it one way or another. She'd have to waste another month of our time and money to retake a course, not even to receive an actual degree.Zachry Correa
CHCP is GREAT! I loved being an LMRT student here! I love how the teachers are so involved in your education and want you to be successful! Miss Salazar was amazing and she always pushed all of her students to go above and beyond! Career Services is great! They were so involved in my grad out process and did everything to make sure I was set for success with finding a job and Ms. Nayak was so helpful and communicated with me on a daily basis! I love CHCP so much! I’m so glad I went through them and I can’t wait to further my education with them when I bridge for the (R) RT program! Thank you CHCP for everything!Samantha Velez
This place is absolutely amazing! All of the staff is very supportive from the very beginning. Vanessa at admissions helped me choose the best career for me and all my teachers were always flexible and made me believe in myself while doing skills. Nensi at career services always checked on me and made sure I had what I needed. Externship coordinator Mr. Clarence was always checking on me while I was on site and made sure I was on track with everything. Thank you to this amazing school for helping me have a career and now my mom is happy to say she has a college graduate!Maria Hernandez

Amazing! This place is awesome! I injured my shoulder and needed an appointment soon. Not only was it super easy to book an appt online, but when I had a family emergency and had to reschedule the next day, they were super accommodating! Doing the new patient paperwork online was a breeze and I didn’t need to fill out any extra paperwork when I got there! So nice! I showed up to my apt 30 min early like they recommend and not only did I Not have to wait, but they brought me in early! Everyone was friendly and knowledgeable! They did my X-ray without any other unnecessary tests or questions. I saw the PA right away and she explained my sonogram and answered all my questions! Then, she gave me a definitive answer about what was wrong with my shoulder. My experience here was 180 deg to what I’ve experienced at other urgent care places and doc offices. I wish every office functioned this way! Lastly, the best thing was that their prices are transparent! I knew exactly how much it would cost and you get so much for your money! I’m recommending DOC to everyone I know 💪 .Erika Ramirez
It started with the initial call to make the appointment. The woman explained each charge and how it was going to be charged with my insurance. Then I arrived at the clinic and the receptionist was so nice and helped me with all the paperwork. Then the X-ray lady was kind and quick. Then the doctor saw me. She was so sweet and through and explained all X-rays, hands on exam and ultra sound. Her kindness and professionalism was greatly appreciated. I hope I don’t mend to go back after this but will definitely return if an accident ever occurs again.Gil Elsass
This was my first visit at the Guadalupe location for a leg injury. I was very impressed with the entire team. Hannah at the front desk is so detail oriented and friendly, also impressed with the X-ray tech and most importantly the PA who performed my exam. They went above and beyond with compassion and took the time to listen to my questions and provide thorough feedback. Also, met Shyla, the manager, who went above and beyond to provide thorough, compassionate customer service.Gina Iaccino

Review Summary
First Class Treatment I was recently at the East Riverside Austin Emergency Center because I could not breathe. Even walking across a room would leave me doubled over and gasping for breath. The East Riverside Austin Emergency Center staff using x-rays and a CAT scan quickly determined that I had a life endangering pulmonary embolism. My heart was struggling to get venous blood to my lungs for aeration, but the clotting was making it increasingly difficult. If I had waited much longer, I would have suffocated to the point my heart would have stopped. Once they had identified the nature of my malady, they made arrangements to send me to the Austin Heart Hospital. I felt like I was in good hands. The staff was very professional and courteous and put me at ease. Additionally, while waiting for the ambulance to the Heart Hospital, I was delighted to have a discussion with one of the nurses over who was the driving force behind the Beatles – John or Paul? It was a welcome distraction considering the severity of my illness. P-Peter Freeman
I wasn't feeling good and needed to get in to see my doctor ASAP but the next appointment available would not be for another month. I had seen this emergency center many a times because the Starbucks I frequent is literally steps from the building. I decided to give it a try. I walked in filled out some paperwork and was called in to see the doctor immediately. I don't think I waited more than 5 minutes . The doctor was thorough, asked questions,, and allowed me to answer. He listened and didn't interrupt. He was great but I have to say that the stars of this place are the nurses, phlebotomists, and X-ray techs. Each and every one of them catered to my needs and made sure I was good every step of the way. I'm writing this as I wait for test results. I'm on an IV and I've had a CT SCAN. ALL IN LESS THAN 45 minutes!! So far I highly recommend this place.LAURA OCHOA
I visited this ER today and was very impressed. The entire process was easy, smooth & quick. I’m cash pay and I especially appreciate the doctor was thoughtful to not order any tests he wasn’t certain I needed. They are a private ER, so they don’t take insurance like a hospital would (you may want to call to confirm they take your provided), but I thought their cash pay prices were reasonable (compared to what I’ve seen other providers charge). They have a sheet with clear pricing so I knew exactly what to expect payment wise as a cash pay person. This was such a better experience than going to a giant hospital. Highly recommend! I’ll head here before the standard hospital ER. (They said they can set you up on a payment plan if you need it too).Kendra Wright

UT does not care. They are a POLICY BEFORE PEOPLE institution. Your wallet comes before your health. Just another money maker for hospital admins. They made me worse than I started, I am now recovering from the "care" inflicted on me. If you value health steer clear, they don't practice the hippocratic oath here they practice malpractice. Beware.Antony Jean Sisk
Finding where your 'clinic' is in this complex is confusing. And then figuring out if it is actually legally accountable to UT or Ascention Seton is a nightmare. Honestly they need to quit trying to split things up. Oh and letting a very badly-trained 'resident' is a very bad idea.Robin Orlowski
The care here is excellent! I see Dr.Bertelson, neurology; Dr.Johnson, orthopedics and acupuncture; Dr.MacClements, Primary Care. The blood lab and imaging is here also. Everyone cares about how you feel. In 5 years, I have never had a bad or upsetting visit!Kathleen Bondurant, Ph.D

Review Summary
**Update** (changed to 4 stars): I'll have to give credit to the manager of the Kyle location for finding me an appointment tomorrow at the same location, which saves me a lot of trouble. I'm not thrilled that I had to call the number she'd left on previous bad reviews to work out a reasonable solution, but I know that scheduling isn't an easy job, and I appreciate that a person answered (quickly), listened to my problem, then called me back within 10 minutes with a solution. I still have problems with ARA in general, but it probably isn't fair for me to hold this one location responsible for the whole organization's design. So really, the only reason I didn't change this to 5 stars is because this location did previously send me away from an MRI appointment when I was only there 10 minutes before the appointment (instead of their requested 30). I still think that's completely ridiculous. The front desk didn't even try to help me, and they were really quite rude. **Abbreviated Original Review (due to Google's character limit)** (1 star): To be clear, this problem is not specific to the Kyle location. The staff at all locations I've visited (Kyle, San Marcos, South Austin) are generally both kind and helpful. The locations are reasonably efficient, clean, and understanding of different needs for different types of patients. I have brain MRIs every 3 months to monitor brain tumors. Sometime they're "with perfusion" and sometimes they're "tumor protocol." Apparently the two different types of orders need to be scheduled differently. I got a call from ARA today cancelling my appointment for TOMORROW because it was scheduled incorrectly. The next available at that location is towards the end of this month. The first time this happened, at a different location, no one realized the mistake until I was already there. They went ahead and did the correct scan, because it wasn't my fault and I was already in the gown with an IV in my arm. I'd call that taking responsibility for your own mistake, which I really appreciated since my schedule is so tight. I average 1-2 scans, doctor's appointments, or treatments every week, so will have to rearrange multiple medical appointments to accommodate THEIR mistake. And this is for a company that made ME reschedule (this was the KYLE location as well) a brain MRI several months ago when I showed up 20 minutes late to their appointment arrival time (which is 30 minutes before the actual appointment time), saying I wouldn't be able to complete the paperwork in time. For the record, it's the same paperwork I do every 3 months! It takes me about 5 minutes. If ARA didn't have a complete monopoly on the types of scans I get, I'd be happy to take my business elsewhere. If you're stuck on the monitoring merry-go-round like me, expect frustration and misery every time you deal with ARA. They will always ask you the same questions, they will always make it so you have to call them, and they will always make your life as inconvenient as possible.Lucinda Holzer
Ne advised they are requiring that you wear a mask. No longer have to wear one on a plane but have to in an open space…UGH. Hard to type with fogged up glasses. Lol Entrance staff spoke so low I had trouble hearing her to answer her questions. Inside is clean and nice. I was told by ARA my MDs office had called on a verbal order as the one they faxed in was not signed and I could come in this am. So I came in when they opened and was told to wait as the order was unsigned?????? The intake lady got in touch with them and get the issue resolved. Inside was kind of crowded. About 12 people waiting. Wait time was 30 minutes before they took me back. My X-ray only took a few minutes. X-ray tech was awesome, friendly and efficient! I would recommend themIsland Man
My doctor's office said that ARA usually calls right away but if I haven't heard from them in a couple of days to give them a call. Don't do that. If they don't have the order or if it's not in the computer, you'll just get put on hold for a while and then they hang up the phone. The Kyle location is easy to find and to my surprise is open on Sunday. I'm retired, but this is really handy for people who work during the week. The parking area is easy to get in and out of. And there is plenty of parking right up by the front door. The front desk person was friendly and helpful as was the technicians in the back. There is plenty of seating and a TV for those who may be waiting for youJimmy Allen

Review Summary
Had my first mammogram & bone density today at ARA San Marcos…it was GREAT!!! I had already completed my check in online so I didn't have to do hardly any paperwork at all. The wait time was only a few moments until they called my back to start the exam. I had heard so many horror stories about how painful or very uncomfortable a mammogram can be. But the tech took her the me explaining the exam thoroughly. And within no time, it was done!!! Not awkward, painful or uncomfortable…very professional. Same with the bone density exam. I am gonna get all my radiological exams/x-rays done at ARA San Marcos in the future. They really took great care of me!!! Highly recommend this place.M. K. F.
My experience and tests with ARA was exceptional. My appointment was easy to make ( and to change). My check-in was fast and easy with a minimum of paperwork and time. My wait time was 0 as I was taken in to have my tests done at the appointment time. My imaging tests were done professionally and competently. The results were sent to my doctor. Basically, it all went flawlessly. Please note, I've had many many imaging tests done over the years and this was the best….Dan Nix
Machine glichy- waited 3.5 hours for a 30 minute procedure that was scheduled by my doctor. I arrived 30 minutes before my scheduled time, waited through my 1 hour appt. time, then 1.5 hours later I was finished. Very unpleasant for me and my husband who brought me and was waiting to take me homeNikii Guerra
