I'm a vet and am finishing up my first semester at Liberty. So far I have had nothing but good experiences. I was nervous about going back to school after being in service for years, but the transition has been fairly easy with all of the help lve received.My instructors are very personable and go out of their way to help me with any problems I may run into. Professors are very professional and, unlike many schools, encourage students to form their own opinions. I have never felt as though any political agendas or doctrines were being forced upon me. Non Christians are treated equally well as everyone else, and are even welcomed to challenge or question anything they may disagree with. Divinity professors are more than willing to listen to other opinions and will clearly explain anything a non believer might want to know about Christianity. The campus itself is beautiful and full of fun things to do besides schoolwork. I am actually learning, rather than simply connecting dots to get a degree and that is exactly what I hoped for. Since I've gone to the school I've got to see politicians such as Nigel Farage and Donald Trump Jr., musicians like Jeremy Camp, sports stars like Brett Favre, world class entrepreneurs, and experts such as economists who advised the president. I cannot recommend this school enough.Christian Mabe

I’ve got one year to go to graduate from this place😭 Being a student at this university has been quite a wonderful experience. To be honest I think it’s one of the it’s not the most state of the art schools in the world. It’s impossible to get bored here. I will say though one thing about this place is that if you come here on fire for Jesus then you’ll find people on fire for Jesus but if you come here to party then you’ll find the party people so make of it what you want. Yes there’s been some drama here in the past few years but there’s drama everywhere and Liberty has been able to manage it pretty well I’d say. I absolutely love every single professor that I’ve had here, they’ve gone above and beyond to help make sure that I get an education of quality. Set up a campus tour. It was 3 hours which entailed visiting the dorms and dining areas. To include the fitness and recreation center. As well the Jerry Falwell Library and Vines Center. We walked the campus for a few hours and then we rode the bus for the remainder of the tour. Everyone was friendly. The student tour guides did an excellent job. The campus was huge. It was well maintained. They have three dorm options. One to include apartments that house seven people. Freshmen are able to bring vehicles on campus. Wide selection of dining options. Chick Fil A, Dunkin Donuts and many others. Dining options in same building as library.LaTrenda

Admissions was good and advising was good. Financial aid was aweful. Don't expect your aid to be same as other bigger name schools. Don't expect the finance department to go by fafsa standards. Weird trimester program means you miss the start date of other schools only to find out your classes won't be covered. Stick to your state colleges.Jeremy Johnson

I have graduated with five degrees from four different universities in Pittsburgh ranging from Bachelor to Doctorate degrees. I can honestly state that Duquesne was my favorite school. I received a higher quality of education and benefitted more from the smaller classes which are not offered by other schools. Most of my educators actually cared about their students and were not at all condescending (ok, there were a couple). Duquesne costs a bit more, but it was worth it. The campus is great. The classrooms; halls; and grounds are clean, traditional, and safe. My child chose to go to another school, but I would sleep better knowing that was living on campus at Duquesne rather than an apartment in Oakland. The only criticism I have is Duquesne has become more noticeably politically liberal than other Catholic schools. I’m ok with limited expression of personal liberal or conservative views, but I am disappointed when those views become a driver for the facility and administration to influence students. Some of those views have reached national attention which lowers my annual donations to the school.Jerry

We went for a campus tour today and absolutely fell in love with the campus. We are from the Pittsburgh area and I never expected the campus to be as big and charming as it is. The tour guides were very knowledgeable and the student:teacher ratio (14:1) with an average class size of 28 was a major bonus. The dorms are 2 bed frames with a desk and closet for each roommate with 2 drawers under the bed as well. They're spacious and clean. They have an amazing 4 floor workout building with every piece of equipment you could ever need! It truly is a hidden gem right in the downtown area. Away from the hustle and bustle of the city but still close enough to enjoy downtown amenities. I don't see how any other college could top this!!Melanie Phillips

I would not recommend this school, I am truly and whole heartedly regretful of choosing this school over all of the other options I had. Something about this school stood out to me, and the counselors here try really hard to get you in. I do not identify with Christian faith and I am not religious at all so I initially felt weird about going to this school, but they mention multiple times that they accept all faiths and backgrounds so I felt better. However, upon talking their forced “Christian Worldview” class, the teacher grades with an iron fist for a 101 class and is just awful. My GPA for sure was going to plummet due to this stupid 101 class that they force on you. Honestly it was so ridiculous that I felt the need to reach out to my advisor. I was trying to come up with a solution because I felt some type of way about this. I suggested them placing me with a different teacher, since this teacher has AWFUL reviews going back years yet they do nothing about it. However they pretty much told me I still had to take the class, I could not switch to another teacher (you cannot pick your own teachers by the way which is huge for me now). Their only solution was that “another teacher would review my work.” This turned me off so bad from the entire school that I ended up withdrawing due to principal which messed up my financial aid. They honestly did not care one bit and obviously know there is a problem but do nothing to address it. I was so turned off that I chose to mess up my financial aid and just pick another school, there was no way that I was finishing out my degree here after this. Go elsewhere !!Taylor

I am an Atheist. I chose this college because it had the focus I was looking for, the delivery method was fully online so I could continue to work, and the price was the best around. I did not feel like being of the Christian faith was a prerequisite. My instructors and professors were not pushy with religion, and for a master's program, I felt like I was able to learn what was necessary for the field I was in. I have a Master's degree and 2 focuses now from GCU and I couldn't be happier with my education and experience. The guidance counselors were great, the financial aid process was easy, and I'm grateful for GCU and all they have done for me.April Wittmeyer

Parking in Garage building#7 on 33rdAvewas the best for going into the areana. We had to checkin at theguard station, drive around it then enter the parking garage. Parking was allowed on the 2ndfloor and above. It was the AFHE homeschool senior graduation. The campuswas very green. The areana was building #38 there is a museum to JERRY COLANGELO here and a beautiful tripple cross monument. The restrooms are spacious and everything but the soap dispensers are automated. My Story As a former student of the University of Advancing Technology or UAT I want to reach out to all future students that are considering this school as an option. I spent from 2012 – 2016 completing my undergraduate program with my Bachelors of Arts in Video Game Design. Where I worked 40+ hours a week, maintained my family life, and completed my program online. In my 4 years every professor that I had was extremely supportive an really promoted and communicated the expectations and understanding of the quality of work that needed to be done as well as the opportunities for students to continue being successful with academics while navigating life challenges. From work/life balance to family medical emergencies everyone single professor was able to help me navigate those challenges while not having to exit school for any duration of time. When I finished my undergraduate program, I left UAT with a solid knowledge and understanding of what it took to make games and how to get that career path started. Because of my positive experience at UAT the first time I decided to go back for a graduate program with a Masters of Science in Technology Leadership. During this time, I was not working and had every opportunity to focus 100% on school for the 2 years I was enrolled. Then COVID 19 happened, UAT was able to quickly adapt and conquer the challenges that social distancing and remote working guidelines had put on almost the entire nation. UAT used its knowledge and passion for technology to not only mitigate COVID challenges but also keep every student on track to succeed in their educational journey with little to no delay. I finished my Masters program and during my exit interview found out that I could dual major with just a few more classes, so I decided to extend my stay there for one more term and finish my Masters of Science in Video Game Production and Management as well. Conclusion If your looking for an education in the technology space, heavily consider UAT as your choice to attend. Let me start off by saying I wish I could give this school a 2.5. I went to this school (2016) with financial problems immediately. I had a financial adviser who told me that I could attend school there and everything had been paid for. Literally after five minutes of being there I was told that she hadn't checked if I could actually attend there, but had only assumed. This was a huge problem seeing as I had flown from Washington to Arizona to attend this school. Upon my nine months there my financial adviser had changed three times. The only thing I really enjoyed was Renee, she has always been kind to me and my situation even to this day. In regards to the academic side of the school, I don't think you get much out of classes for what you're paying. With how much you end up paying a single class would be $180 which is completely insane when a few of the professors don't actually teach you anything. I was a Programming Major and from what I saw and from how I was treated if you already knew how to program or you picked up on it really fast you were automatically favored – this also went for the Game Art degree. During my classes I had been accused of cheating off of a peer when I didn't. Some of the classes are a real challenge though and they were definitely worth the $180. Now onto Founder's Hall. I was an RA there for 6 months. The dorms are messy and there's hardly anyone in the dorms that's social. Due to this their rooms are disgusting and a lot of rooms here do have cockroaches – it really doesn't matter if you're clean or messy, there's cockroaches. I will say that the school seems to be doing a bit better with the dorms and the cafe and what not, but people are still falling out of that school due to the fact that it costs way too much for anyone coming from middle-class or lower. I wouldn't have left if it wasn't for someone who was finishing up his last semester. He was a close friend and had expressed to me how he hoped I wouldn't stay here and have my money sucked out of me and end up with a degree and no job.kkylenkk

My son and I have been so impressed with the staff at UAT that we sent them letters telling them so. We appreciated the warm welcome, well-coordinated incoming events, personable staff and flexibility for students. The communications throughout the year have been great as a parent back here in Minnesota. The logical response to the unprecedented demands for Covid19 included thoughtful adjustments for the residence hall, school operations and courses. My son received support and accommodations for ADHD, anxiety and depression. Ashley in Student Services has been an incredible support and advocate for him. We were able to meet with her together and I was immediately grateful that she was so knowledgeable and warm. I knew he would be lucky to have her as a support. Ashley is enthusiastic and genuinely interested in students. She makes a point to reach out to them and visit the Commons as well. Although my son has been an excellent student in the past, he struggled with the new responsibility of creating his own schedule. Being overwhelmed and anxious led him to fall behind significantly. Ashley supported him, brainstormed options and coordinated schedule adjustments. Teachers provided accommodations on an ongoing basis. I recognize the understanding and time this degree of extra coordination requires. They deserve recognition also. My son and I both felt that what he has learned at UAT, both in and out of classes, was even greater since he developed skills through these struggles. He considers it all a tremendous learning experience. In summary, we've been incredibly pleased with how UAT operates and meets student needs personally and academically.Linda Ell-Egermeier

CBU is pretty rad, and I want to respond to what I've seen in a couple reviews here. The first of which is people saying the location in Riverside sucks. I'll admit Riverside is not super tight, but there is the mission inn and a drive in movie theater and a few other things which are pretty cool within a few minutes of campus. The best part of Riverside is it's less than an hour from the beach, an hour from the mountains, and hour from LA and 45 minutes from a few theme parks. So if you have a car and aren't super lazy, your weekends should be fun. And there's always fun stuff going on campus too, (dive in movie nights at the pool, intramural and NCAA sports games, concerts, carnivals etc.) so if you have a good attitude you can have fun hanging out on campus. People are saying CBU wants your money. Of course they do, so does every other university that is in business. However CBU will really work with you to help you afford the school. Get good grades, maybe go out for a sports team or the music department and you'll get even more money. You have to work for it though, they don't give out serious amounts of money to anyone. If your parents are in ministry (pastor/missionary/work full time at a church) you're in luck too cuz they have scholarships for that too. It's a Christian school… Yep. I wouldn't say intolerant though. You will be taught what they believe to be Christian values and you can only expect that. There's like 7,000 students too so I'm sure there are rude intolerant ones there too. I think you will find rude/intolerant people no matter where you go but it most definitely is not the essence of the student body. CBU has a uniquely welcoming and loving community, and that's something I've heard from Christians and non-Christians alike at the school. Both are welcome to come but both also are required to go to chapel and follow the rules. I don't agree with all the rules but most of them are a pretty reasonable balance of trying to give freedom to students and adhere to Christian principles (coming from a non-conservative Christian background). That's part of making the decision to go to a Christian university, and realistically it's probably what's best for you anyways. If anyone has anything bad to say about the food I don't know what world famous chef you had cooking for you your entire life before here. The caf has killer variety, Chik-fil-a is freaking Chik-fil-a, Wandas has great breakfast and the best steak quesadillas, and El-Monte is as good as Chipotle. CBU does give real world experience. I know as a business major there are some awesome professors that are all about real world experience. Dr. Weniger and Alderson are a couple that come to mind. You get out what you put into your classes and almost every single professor at the school is very open to spending time with you helping you out with homework or just life. Academics are pretty top tier, but professors do come and go and though most are great, some are much better than others, so do a little time looking round rate my professor if you want the best ones. CBU is great. Sure there are other universities that are great too (not to many that compare that are in Southern California though) but CBU is a well rounded school academically, socially and spiritually. No school/student body is perfect, that's just life, but CBU is a solid choice to spend 4 years growing academically and spiritually into who you are going to be the rest of your life.Jake Roque

Okay, so I went to this school originally considering a nursing degree. It's hard to have many nice things to say about this school.. The school looks nice, but the neighborhood area is crap. You have to drive kinda far to see or do anything nice. It's hardly in Riverside, CA. Feel more like Norco, armpit of California. They put most of their students in cheap housing. Much of it was temporary when I was there. Other housing was old folks homes. Weird cheap, and kinda gross. The major feature of this school is this: They want your money. That's all. It's nothing spectacular in any way, and based on the price, it's a really bad deal. They "award" small scholarships to practically any student for any reason. They try to bring in a bunch of students through their music school. A music degree is NOT WORTH 100k- 150k of debt. And please remember folks, if everybody gets a scholarship, it's not actually a scholarship. THINK about it.. They just want your attention and your money. ALSO, Please be aware they will be raising the tuition on you every year, by lots of money! If you start at 30-35k, You will probably end at 40-45k annually. It's probably costing something around or over 40 or more thousand per year now. And YOU WILL pay more than you think by the end of the year. It's a Christian school, which is fine if you're a Christian. They are relatively intolerant conservatives though. Very serious/ oppressive Christian all over the place. Many of the students are sheltered, and having moved on to a regular university, I can tell you it doesn't represent the real world experience, or normal people, for the most part. Regarding this: Don't bother going here unless you're a rich serious sheltered Christian. If that's what you value, then maybe you'll like this place. Some of the people are fairly friendly, and the food in the cafeteria was good WHEN I was there. That more than a year ago. Some of the teachers were alright as well. I mostly took science classes, for reference. In summary, if you're not a young Christian who has no desire for real-world experience,then don't go here. The price is so not worth it! It's an institution for profit! Go to your local community college and earn entrance to a great University! Even Ivy league schools are looking to replace young dropouts with students that did well in their community colleges! It's just not worth it. If you're a thinking person, you'll start hating this school not long after you get there. NOT WORTH ITMichael D. Bear

I loved all 4 years at this school! As a freshman, I lived in the dorms and met my group of closest friends that I still hang out with to this day. I loved the food and had to be careful with dessert in the cafeteria otherwise I would have packed on the calories. The school does a great job of setting up events that target every student and gives great deals for other off-campus events like cheap Lakers tickets, cheap tickets to theme parks, and other giveaways. I am Mexican and I have never once felt like I was discriminated against at this school, if anything there are plenty of people at this school who make an effort to talk about racial injustices among students. As far as the incident in Ontario, I just want to say that you can find that level of ingorance at any university and even more so outside of that setting. Two girls made a stupid decision to throw a drink on a guy and they happened to be CBU students. If I’m being real here, CBU does not turn many people away when it comes to the application process, so any person who has higher than a 2.5 GPA will most likely get in. CBU does not necessarily focus on whether you are a Christian or not because they’d rather have you here at this school than at a school where the chance of hearing the gospel is much lower. Now back to the point, CBU is honestly such a great school and if you’ve ever visited, you notice right away that the atmosphere is one that you can’t find in many other places. People treat you with love, respect, understanding, and kindness. CBU is a school that truly looks to serve the students in any way possible and that’s the truth. Don’t let others who are are upset about what happened in Ontario tear down the idea of coming to this school because you will definitely see that the number of students who will treat you with love and respect far outweighs the ones who would pour a drink on you for sitting during the national anthem. When I first started signing up for my MBA I advised them that I had just graduated with my bachelors degree. My goal was to start August 5, and I submitted all my necessary paperwork and cooperated as such. When it got to my transcripts I was advised I could not start because the conferral date was not on the transcripts. The enrollment specialist told me to reach out to my previous school. I did and it was a hassle. I called the enrollment specialist at Capella to advise of the updates to only find out that Capella’s registrar team had already been in contact with my school. I wanted to start on the 5th as it was very discouraging to go through the process to be turned away at last minute. 1). Total waist of time as I took time out of my day to complete orientation and do what they advised of me. 2) I asked to speak with a supervisor who was very vague and could not provide the information needed. 3) I again called Capella to try and escalate the situation, but the manager never returned my call. I feel as if they had me sign up because they were the ones to get paid for each student to enroll and failed to educate me properly in the beginning, which is very misleading and discouraging. Since no one wanted to comply and take responsibility I will be escalating this to the BBB as this is not my fault and I should had been able to start in the promised time given and should have been educated properly.Tearra McCray

The worst university ever! They made me waste my time and my money from the first day, every time I communicated with them each counselor told me something different, and more than a month passed and I did not have an accurate answer on the status of my application, after a month a person from human resources let me know that I had to do my transcripts equivalency again on another website because the one I had already sent twice to them waiting for they review it (and that they themselves told me it was okay to do it that way) was not valid for them to take me into account to start the course this past October. 1- First time the transcripts were not encrypted, so they asked my to ask the institution they send it again but encrypted this time and I did it and sent it again. And after that they let me know that didn’t work for them. So I wasted my time, my money and above all the opportunity to start on the desired date. A very bad job of the staff. Very bad communication with the students who want to start there, and they also contradict each other. They all say different things and waste your time. They are also very rude. I hope that no one has this bad experience, nor misses the opportunity to start the course on the date they planned, and due to the horrible work of other people you lose opportunities in life.Claudia Espinosa

From the beginning of my Master's level school search, Capella stood out. I had a great recommendation from a friend already, but in researching complete online programs to work with my schedule, Capella checked all of the boxes I needed. I had a wonderful experience with my admissions counselor and continue to have great interactions with all communication. I am happy with all faculty thus far and feel that I am learning exactly what I need for my future as a school counselor. The course load is what I expected it to be and the time I spend on classwork is time well spent. I feel very confident that I will be prepared to enter the field of school counseling when I graduate. The very first thing Capella does once you are enrolled is to start you in a class to help navigate your program and get you familiar with the online format. This helped immensely and calmed my nerves for entering into a graduate program online. I feel very well cared for and have not had a negative experience yet! This place is more church than it is a university. Undergrads are required to earn an additional 18 units, 9 credits of Humanities & 9 credits of Religion, on top of your traditional 120 units for a Bachelors. As well as 14 hours of “convo” each semester (look it up). Every staff / faculty member who works here complains about there pay to anyone who will listen. Student advisors and counselors will try to impress upon you their administrative powers. Student Veterans: Both, as a Yellow Ribbon student and (at about 3/4 of the way thru) as a VocRehab (Ch.33) student, Ella from student accounts would withhold all my grants and loans until the government paid the tuition it owed on my behalf. This place is known for its vistas not their academics. You won’t build much of a portfolio to show employers just by going here. Students in the Arts programs here focused more on who to know rather then what to know. Very “Right Wing” policies. Good WiFi in the buildings, not so much outside.Timothy Mitchell

I got accepted to two schools but wanted to start with a summer course at Pepperdine to see how it goes. I enrolled in one class and before the class started I asked professor for the syllabus, and few additional questions. He emailed me he would gladly speak to me about the class I want to take and gave me the phone number to call. I am not a native speaker and I have an accent. When I called, he was very rude, asked me who I am, and then he said I got the wrong number and hanged up on me. I withdrew the class immediately to get my money back and I decided to go to different university instead, with better reputation. There are other better schools out there.Mila Rosey

I went to this school back in 2015-2016. I was living near the school at the time, but I had to move over 4 hours away after escaping domestic violence. This school hires professors that do not want to see domestic violence victims succeed. Put your money elsewhere. Here is my story: Even with my broken wrist, I managed to complete the courses and coursework, and for a time, the professors were understanding of my situation, since I was not cleared to go back to work yet and was relying on my financial aid to pay for basic things like my phone and my health bills related to my wrist. I ended up getting cleared to go back to work, and had the job opportunity of a lifetime present itself to me. I accepted so I could get back on my feet. However, this was around the same time I had to complete one of my first residency requirements. My student adviser at the time was willing to work with me and found a course that I could take to meet my work life needs. However, it was the only option available to me. Since I had to leave for training for two weeks, the work campus did not allow personal business to be conducted on their computers, which included school work. I emailed my professor, and explained to him the situation that I was going to be gone for training when the class began and explained to him my predicament, asking for a compromise so I wouldn't lose my job. Part of the coursework was to attend GoToMeeting lectures. However, due to the nature of my work, I was unable to stream these lectures as no recording cameras were allowed. I explained all of this to him in e-mails. He did not listen to my emails, giving me responses that made it seem like he wasn't even reading my e-mails, and forwarded me back to the student adviser and washed his hands of it. Ultimately, after enduring a layover at an airport after training had finished, this professor expected me to attend a Go-To-Meeting class with two hours of sleep, then berate me for my lack of participation, after explaining to him my job's requirements and rules, and what had happened since a hurricane caused a delay and lengthy layover on my flight. Thankfully, I am working now, but I wished I never had attend this school. This school only put me further in debt and now I can't even attend the school I want.Reika Chan

I attended 9-11 years ago, so hopefully this has changed. The school psychology program was weirdly punitive. They shamed people for not knowing things like how to dress professionally instead of giving them concrete advice for what they expected. (This is classist.) They required us to be over-the-top obedient to professors and supervisors, even if they were doing something unethical. Meanwhile, they taught how kids do better with a strengths-based approach in which they are listened to. This is true and does not stop when a person turns 18. The professors make students retake classes and redo practicum hours for disagreeing or expressing concern. So students have to pay extra money to learn to suppress their critical thinking. They encourage students to think about "best practices" in their first year practicum. But in the second year their response to problems at practicum sites is "that's just how it is". I was discouraged to get involved with anything "political" like the teachers' strike and campaign to replace campus police officers with counselors because "no one will want to hire you". Their answer to disparities between wealthy suburban districts and underfunded districts like Chicago's was "don't work at CPS if you don't like it". 0/10 Do not recommend.Erin Rusmi

From the Counseling Psychology program perspective, my experience have been exceptional! From the knowledge of the professors to the structured placement process and classroom agendas, I love it! It has been a life changer for me, considering what I’ve learned during my 2 1/2 years here. The instructors are very knowledgeable and have experience on the subjects they’re teaching. You are provided a professional development coach to help maintain stability in classes and graduate on time. Someone is always there to answer questions or help in ways they can. All staff is professional and lead towards the process of your professional development as well . Classes are flexible and class sizes are comfortable ( max 15 students unless blended). Halfway through my PsyD program and I have enjoyed my learning so far. Certainly my learning curve is improving. I have attended B&M universities as well as online programs. My program was great but am consistently unimpressed by the school's most senior leadership. Fully confirmed when IN CLASS, we were bombarded and demanded (not asked) to leave our room for a meeting… And I give ALL the credit to our instructor on pushing back. It was ten minutes before our class was scheduled to end AND the meeting was to start. The arrogance was proven right then there. Pure annoyance for having to wait while we finished. Paid a lot for my education… you sir, can wait a sec while we wrap up our scheduled time in a classroom. But thematically? Par for the course. A great school limited by such behaviors.N ERB

I've never felt more heard while seeking help with my mental health. My Psych doctor REALLY listens to me and lets me sit in the driver's seat for my treatment plans. Also, my therapist is probably one of my favorite people I've ever met. I've never had a therapist that I felt comfortable being completely honest. He has taught me a sense of curiosity when it comes to learning new skills. He made me feel like I wasn't doomed because of my past. I've learned so much from both of them the past 5 months. I thought I would have been in the ground in April. Now, I don't even recognize my life in the best way possible. They improved the quality of my life to a point where I'm planning a future again. I feel so safe with them. They held me up when I was drowning in my mental illnesses and they never gave up on me. I've been dealing with issues for 7 years and I've been to every place you can think of in the valley or in Portland, OR. This place is the one. I absolutely love Bayless Integrated Health. For years, I have struggled with finding a good therapist. Now, I have a therapist at Bayless and I can't say enough good things about her. I have been seeing Kelly Heffron for awhile now and I was nervous about changing doctors but she has made the change very comfortable for me. I can talk to her with ease and I don't don't feel like I need to. She is very easy to talk with and ask me questions and I'm really glad she does she gives me awesome suggestions and helps me with things I struggle with. I've been to a lot of incompetent doctor's offices, speaking of both the doctors themselves and of the office staff, but none have been as unprofessional and incompetent as Bayless. My therapist would not show up for half his appointments, and he kept giving me a different number to call every time to reach him, which never worked. On the day of our last appointment he again was nowhere to be found, so I called Bayless. They told me he had left the practice. No one had bothered to call to notify me of this before the appointment. My psychiatrist is always at least twenty minutes late to the appointment. Her MA authorized the wrong type of prescription through my insurance which no pharmacy stocks, and every day I call the pharmacy they say it didn't show up in their order. I have had to call them about something they messed up at least once a month. I don't advise giving these people your money, or even your insurance's money, because they clearly don't use it to hire competent professionals.R A

Upon being referred in 2019 I was looking for counsel for my ADD child. While the provider offered very medication based treatment not therapy based, I went along with my son beginning with meds but, requested that he be referred to a therapist. This never happened even with persistent requests, I was ignored. Following up to most recently the receptionist continually was saying "they" when referring to my son. I inquired " we are just talking about one of my children or are you using non–binary language for my son. Just so you are clear he id's as him, he or you may refer to him by his fist name" Receptionist continued to DISRESPECT my wishes and my sons wishes on how to be identified. It is not her place to choose my sons pronouns especially when I have requested he be identified as a male per his wishes. He was born male and chooses to be identified as such.Lori blomker

Been seeing Marcus for 3 years. BEST DOCTOR i ever had. I moved from Ny to Arizona, and needed a Suboxone doctor. My treatment center put me on all these meds that i didnt need. Marcus was the only doctor i had who actually cares about his clients. He helped me Wean off from 8mg to 2mg, most doctors would say “ it takes years to get off it” just for a insurance check. Hes also very understanding. Honestly yall needa have this man as your doctor. Hes a FIREEEEEE doctor Because he helped me get on the right medication, my life has changed drastically. Reaching out for help can be terrifying, and finding a good match difficult. Finding Dr. Traci has been a godsend. People sometimes tell you what you think your want to hear, I value Dr. Traci's ability to bravely tell it like it is. She cares deeply and it shows. Her home office has a good energy about it. It just felt like my home away from home. I was able to hang out with the two donkeys she has at her premise – Finney and forgot the other ones name. Will remember on my third visit. I was fully comfortable sharing freely from my first session. The ability to speak of my life from a Biblical standpoint was of utmost importance to me. My life, as everyone’s, is rooted in my belief system…mine is that of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Attempting to work through my trials from any other approach would be wholly ineffective and devoid of any healing for me. We spent time in prayer and I believe that our time together was mutually beneficial, as honest communication should be. You can feel the tranquility as you approach the property. The signage and flag make it easy to locate. The driveway is spacious with a bench swing shaded under a large tree to your right. The landscaping well thought out and manicure. When you walk around back the donkeys are calm but make feel welcome when they acknowledge your presence and hope you will pet them. The property has many focal points to keep your brain from thinking about your other issues.Rick Henderson

I am so dissatisfied and disappointed with this office! My feelings are hurt. I truly thought that they were going to help me but it turns out that they are like everything else wrong with the medical system. It’s all about the money. I went in for help and all I got was a long assessment that cost me $300 that they didn’t even tell me about. But before my session was even over they are taking the money out of my account. I’ve only been twice but the charges they tack on that are “not covered by insurance” ( and I have good insurance) are just downright wrong. I have lost all faith that therapy Is going to be helpful at all. This has only caused me more anxiety. If you are going here please make sure that you get up from pricing because all of their apologies didn’t do me any good.Tina Mobley

MHCOA has been a God send for many members of my family. My fiance, who is a first responder has had amazing success working with his doctors there and has been able to share the center with his colleagues to reach more first responders. He has had the opportunity to not only do talk therapy, but infrared, cryo, and some other alternative methods. My mother, who is in her 70s, has also been going to the MCHOA for talk therapy and has made huge strides in her own mental health. Every time we go, there is a tranquil, peaceful feeling as soon as you walk in. We are so blessed to have this place and are forever grateful to the providers there for all they do.Kacie Passamonte

I have a chance to tour the facility and try a few of their wellness treatments. The environment is welcoming and warm, and promotes a sense of calmness as soon as you enter the building. The staff I interacted with were friendly and approachable, and the treatment options were state of the art. Everything was clean and appeared brand new. I wish i didn't have to give a star. My wife graduated at the Tucson location, she got hired to work at the Phoenix location as an on call type of basis, and she recently got accepted to go to grad school here. She wanted a new agenda that she can use for her classes. I noticed my wife had 4 University of AZ agendas she used during her undergrad studies. She could've used an agenda from Walmart but she really liked supporting her school by buying an agenda every year from University of AZ until she graduated with her bachelors degree. Now she's a graduate student and I decided to buy her a new one. When I went to visit the Phoenix campus the security was very rude. They called the library to see if it was okay for me to visit. Really? You have to have permission to view the library? The security told me that I'm strictly only allowed to go straight to the library and no where else. This is a different experience for me because when I visited University of AZ Tucson location they're very kind to family members, visitors, and students. Security is very un-welcoming at the Phoenix location. I don't know why they need to be rude when all they deal with majority of the time is students and family members that are excited to visit the campus of loved ones. Family members that are supportive to the school students and staff. When I arrived to the bookstore I was told that they don't carry or sell agendas of any kind. I looked online for the bookstore and I called the number online. Sadly, the person from the bookstore told me over the phone that University of Arizona College of Medicine Phoenix location doesn't carry agendas and hung up without saying goodbye or see if I had any further questions. OVERALL, FROM A FAMILY MEMBER OF A UNIVERSITY OF ARIZONA GRADUATE, GRADUATE STUDENT, STAFF THAT IS ONLY VISITING THE CAMPUS TO BUY AN AGENDA THIS WAS SUCH A NIGHTMARE AND HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE.Fredrick Jones

As a patient, I have come across residents amd instructors from multiple disciplines and here are my concerns about the quality of medical professionals who graduate from this school: 1. I am concerned that residents are being taught greed over patients best interests. This means the graduate will be too quick to perform a medical test when the symptoms that a patient has does not line up with the disease or illness that the patient has. This also means medically unnecessary surgeries and the disrespect of informed consent. 2. The graduate will have no critical thinking skills and lacks the ability to keep up with medical research. This in turn will lead misdiagnosis in patients as well as unnecessary treatment while the underlying condition is not treated. Remember, the medical organizations such as American College of Gynecogy, etc. guidelines are written for the physician best interest and not the patient best interest. Take a look at the 2018 diabetic guidelines and their justification for increasing the recommended A1C levels. Instead of addressing the cost of insulin,, they raised the target A1C levels which in turn has the potential to shorten the life expectancy of diabetics in the long run. 3. The graduate is only educated in the white suburban middle class culture. What does this mean, they will be biased to and quick to judge anyone who does not fit in the white middle class suburban culture which is the majority of America. This includes the rural/country folk like myself.Amber Voigt

Dr. Petta has been amazing with both of my girls. Neurofeedback has been very beneficial for my family. My youngest has shown improvements in her sensory processing disorder, anxiety, and her compulsive issues have gotten better. She went from hating school to loving school. It is so great to have my loving sweet daughter back. My oldest has shown improvements in her energy and motivation. She has been wanting to play outside more and exercise. I have seen improvements in her anxiety and she is more social than she was. It is so nice seeing her talk to other kids instead of just sitting there quietly. Neurofeedback and working with Dr. Petta is the best decision my family made. Updated Review: Both my girls have been doing neurofeedback sessions for quite a while and I can’t express how happy I am with the results. When we started neurofeedback, I never thought we would ever see the amazing improvements we have seen. Neurofeedback was a great piece to helping both girls. We also worked on their diets which helped with the results we saw. Our whole family is happier because of neurofeedback. My oldest is 13 and she went from being a shy quiet child to an outgoing and very happy teenager. She loves school. She has a great group of friends she is involved in after-school activities and involved at church. She has overcome a lot of her fears, especially her fear of heights. It is amazing to see my child happy and healthy. My youngest is 11 and the improvements we have seen are beyond amazing. She has OCD, sensory processing, and severe anxiety. She would have meltdowns every day, especially at school. She hated going to school. Her grades were not great, and she missed a lot of days of school because her meltdowns were so bad. We couldn’t ever go anywhere because we never knew if she was going to have a meltdown. Now she is the calmest and happiest child. She hasn’t had a meltdown in over two years. Her grades have improved a lot, she loves going to school. We have taken multiple vacations and she did amazing. She can handle stressful situations and not react. If you are on the fence about doing neurofeedback, I promise you will not be disappointed. It was the best investment I could ever have made for the health and well-being of my child and my family.Elizabeth Fletcher

I was advised by my Dr. at the Mayo Clinic to look into biofeedback/neurofeedback for my fibromyalgia. Something I had never heard of before. I was in chronic pain from my fibromyalgia from my neck to my knees on almost a daily basis. I felt fatigued every day to the point that I had to talk myself into getting out of bed every morning because almost every inch of my body ached as if I had just ran a marathon and got a sunburn at the same time. The pain was so severe that it was all I could focus on. It got to the point that I could no longer see passed my diagnosis. It was almost as if I was fibromyalgia instead of having fibromyalgia. I had severe brain fog and would forget things I had just learned, as well as experienced not being able to find the words I needed to speak. I contacted braintrain4You LLC and spoke with Dr. Petta. We had an initial consult and I signed up for a 40 session package for neurofeeback/biofeedback. Fast forward to approximately 6 months later, I am a completely different person in a positive way. Neuro and biofeedback has changed my life in ways that I didn’t know were possible. My pain has diminished almost completely and when it does appear on occasion, it is very mild and doesn’t last nearly as long. My memory is unstoppable. Neurofeedback has given me my life back. Dr. Petta is absolutely incredible. I had been going to her for talk therapy for over 6 months before I finally decided to try neurofeedback (with Dr. Petta's recommendation). Although talk therapy was beneficial, I would find myself in similar patterns that I couldn't break out of. After the first session of neurofeedback, I was stunned. I started to feel like "myself" again- It was like being released from a mental prison. Everything I had been feeling was confirmed through my brain scan. We started focusing in on the areas that needed improvement, and I was / am astonished with the results. Everyone around me can see the enormous change that I've made. Before starting neurofeedback- anxiety, panic and depression were apart of my every day life. I was paralyzed and unable to complete any of the things that used to be "easy." I can proudly say, 6 months later, that NONE of these things are apart of my daily life. I now have mental space to deal with the stress of life. I no longer find myself going back to the patterns that once held me captive (for years). Dr. Petta has helped me to create HEALTHY routines and healthy ways of dealing with my stress and anxiety. My friends and I have been coming to Bayless for the last 2-3 years since early 2020 and we absolutely love our Doctor (who no longer practices at Bayless) but the patient portal straight up DOES NOT WORK and management DOES NOT CARE. Messages sent through the portal DO NOT SHOW UP under 'Sent' and nobody follows up on anything. Imagine trying to change the pharmacy you use and the office staff at Bayless sends your script to EVERY. SINGLE. PHARMACY. YOU HAVE USED. IN THE PAST 3 YEARS… It's atrocious. Imagine trying to get treatment for your behavioral/mental health and getting gaslit by the very website you use to talk to your Doctor – It's a joke! Finally, we get an actual response here on Google Maps saying "Thank you for the feedback. We take your concern seriously and have escalated your concern to our management team for review." Only for us to receive a letter from Bayless by certified mail saying we were being dropped and we will no longer be a patient at Bayless moving forward. HILARIOUS! They "value your feedback" enough to kick you to the curb when you have legitimate concerns when you are paying for treatment but not receiving said treatment. Bayless is a great example of people who genuinely do not care about their patients and whether or not they are receiving the care they need. This is why the Vice President of Psychiatry left: because they were a genuinely pure human being who cared about their patients and they couldn't stand to remain with Bayless while they took advantage of people who were looking for help. Bayless is a great reminder that if you have any feedback or concerns about the medical care you're being given, you're better off just moving to another country because the only thing doctors here care about is what kind of sports car they're gonna drive to their job where they ignore their patients and drop the ones who complain about the poor service.Ben Mach

A dr at this establishment confirmed w me she was going to send in my rx via zoom meeting. She did not send this refill in. I ran out of the medication, which can induce seizures as well as many other serious symptoms. I called the 24 nurses line they returned my call 10 hours later to fill a bridge for me, I show up at the pharmacy and and there is not a bridge refill. I call the office and am told this med refill can take up to 48 hours. All the while I am supposed to deal w the side effects of coming completely off this medication, because the dr made a mistake. There’s no compassion, this is place is mis managed and the dr’s and staff don’t show any competence, I am extremely frustrated, disappointed and in extramae nerve pain. DO NOT USE THIS PLACE!! An absolute nightmare. They could not care less about you. This is the kind of joke medicine where they want to get you in and out ASAP and take your money. My blood test results were mishandled and kept at the wrong temperature. They took 13 days to provide me with results.. when they did the results were WRONG and gave me EXTREME anxiety. You'll never get ahold of your doctor on the phone, you'll have to PAY for another meeting to speak to them. They give referrals out when it's not needed which leads me to think they get paid for that too!Sarah-Ruth Dobson
