I'm a vet and am finishing up my first semester at Liberty. So far I have had nothing but good experiences. I was nervous about going back to school after being in service for years, but the transition has been fairly easy with all of the help lve received.My instructors are very personable and go out of their way to help me with any problems I may run into. Professors are very professional and, unlike many schools, encourage students to form their own opinions. I have never felt as though any political agendas or doctrines were being forced upon me. Non Christians are treated equally well as everyone else, and are even welcomed to challenge or question anything they may disagree with. Divinity professors are more than willing to listen to other opinions and will clearly explain anything a non believer might want to know about Christianity. The campus itself is beautiful and full of fun things to do besides schoolwork. I am actually learning, rather than simply connecting dots to get a degree and that is exactly what I hoped for. Since I've gone to the school I've got to see politicians such as Nigel Farage and Donald Trump Jr., musicians like Jeremy Camp, sports stars like Brett Favre, world class entrepreneurs, and experts such as economists who advised the president. I’ve got one year to go to graduate from this place😭 Being a student at this university has been quite a wonderful experience. To be honest I think it’s one of the it’s not the most state of the art schools in the world. It’s impossible to get bored here. I will say though one thing about this place is that if you come here on fire for Jesus then you’ll find people on fire for Jesus but if you come here to party then you’ll find the party people so make of it what you want. Yes there’s been some drama here in the past few years but there’s drama everywhere and Liberty has been able to manage it pretty well I’d say. I absolutely love every single professor that I’ve had here, they’ve gone above and beyond to help make sure that I get an education of quality. Set up a campus tour. It was 3 hours which entailed visiting the dorms and dining areas. To include the fitness and recreation center. As well the Jerry Falwell Library and Vines Center. We walked the campus for a few hours and then we rode the bus for the remainder of the tour. Everyone was friendly. The student tour guides did an excellent job. The campus was huge. It was well maintained. They have three dorm options. One to include apartments that house seven people. Freshmen are able to bring vehicles on campus. Wide selection of dining options. Chick Fil A, Dunkin Donuts and many others. Dining options in same building as library.LaTrenda

Okay school but professors suck! Good learning platform with Blackboard (easy to use & navigate). Professors are very picky & strict with grading. They act like they are from Harvard. Faculty is not professional & highly rude. They don't care about you learning or helping you succeed. Rather expect you to fail. Lots of errors & typos on quizzes. No live or recorded lectures. Didn't learn much. Spend the extra money & attend brick & mortar or better online school to get a job.Oliver

I highly recommend Hodges University! I enrolled in the fast track BS degree with 10 classes left to finish in Interdisciplinary Studies. I graduated 18 months later! All of my teachers were phenomenal and my counselor reached out to me at the beginning of each semester to enroll me in the correct classes to finish my degree program as quickly as possible. Having attended other universities, I found this one to be the most committed in helping me complete my degree program!Ann AL

I have been at Hodges for two years now. Every time I hear about another school, I always compare my experience to Hodges. This has led me to believe that there are no other schools that I would be as happy with. The professors I have had actually WANT me to succeed and will do what they can to help us as students to develop and learn. I AM NOT A STUDENT. IM A TOURIST I toured this beautiful school yesterday. It was absolutely beautiful. To walk around seeing so much scripture. So many things to inspire young minds and hearts to Christ. I did not get a chance to walk around the entire campus but the places I did see were amazing. My tour guide was Robert Vann. He knew a lot of history and important things about the school. He probably knew the mission statement if I asked him. He took us into the Chapel and had so many great things to say about it. He also said, the school was a safe place for Christians. The professors and staff, knew Jesus. Frfr. They encourage a relationship with Christ. He has never been around so many different ethnicities fully in worship together. It reminded him of Heaven. He saw that we are all the same. The school opened the eyes of his heart to so many different beautiful things about ALL of the people of God. I’m not gone lie, I don’t wanna say that I would ever move back to Virginia. And I do not like school. However, after seeing the school, and hearing the Words of Mr. Vann, it makes me want to consider attending Regent. I could not have chosen a better university to finish my education as well continue with. My professors are very understanding and compassionate because we need that today in the world we live in. Even if you aren't a Christian the respect and just humbleness of all my professors and even peers has been extremely outstanding . I am speechless. My professors pray for me and at times that's what I needed the most. The School work had true meaning and purpose. You aren't just going to school just to go to school. All of it has meaning. I am excited to Start my PhD program and finish proudly as a regent Graduate. Trust me I did my undergrad at a major university and I was just a number and did not feel like I got as much out of as much I got out my masters. Also it's affordable!!! For 4 years Rutgers was our home, and the center of our family life. Our eldest children grew up here and the youngest was born. It was a wonderful life experience as a family, as people and students. Life at Johnson apartments was happy, with difficult moments of adaptation but definitely a great challenge. Rutgers offers an excellent learning environment to its students. However, I found that the campus has some flaws. For instance, some parts of the campus are unkempt and could use some tidying up. Nonetheless, I am fond of the wide variety of areas open to both students and locals—nice chains, restaurants, and stores (among many more)! The training I received at the school has served me well for the 40 years I have been in the military and in private practice. My training has been as good or better than docs from schools all over the country. I didn't know how well I was prepared until internship. I put my training up against interns from many MD and DO school and came out fine. I compete against docs from many school in my private practice and I have never been found wanting. My training was 40 years ago and it was great. I don't really know about the current training climate but I assume it is just as good as when I attended. This place had a very nice dorms and a lot of places for people to be able to get plant-based option foods including a whole foods that is right around the corner pretty much on campus. They're swimming pools pretty awesome too when it unfolds in the summer to let the sunlight in. They do have some pretty big lecture classes they told us but other than that the class sizes are supposed to be fairly reasonable. Campus was clean but had a bit of construction going on. I absolutely love my therapist, she is amazing. Unfortunately as for the "doctors" they are HORRIBLE! they do not listen to their patients or actually care about a patients needs or what they are comfortable with. I was originally with Dr. R as my psychiatrist. He was nice, but I never really felt that he understood me. I have suffered from depression my whole life, and also have very bad anxiety, and PTSD from a couple traumatic events. My medication was helping, but I felt maybe having a woman as my psychiatrist, I would be better understood or more comfortable being a woman myself. I requested to change to Meg, who I spoke to a couple times in the past. Meg is not able to prescribe certain RX without a DR approval. I was out of my anxiety medication, she suggested trying something to boost my anti depressant, and that would help with my anxiety as well. I agreed, tried the new medication, and it made my anxiety worse. I wrote her about this, and we discussed at my next visit. She then prescribed me another RX. Which did help boost my Lexapro, but wasn't helping with my anxiety as far as panic attacks, or trouble sleeping. At my last appointment, I unfortunately had a sibling unexpectedly pass away, so I was having really bad anxiety. She again off label subscribed me another RX. I tried that, and it wasn't helping, especially at this time. I had multiple panic attacks and almost went to the hospital. I reached out again and asked if I could just go back to the original Rx Dr. R had been giving me on a regular basis since I knew it worked for me. She replied back, lying stating that DR. R doesn't recommend it being used on a regular basis. Very confused I responded and stated that it was part of my regular RX and I took it PRN. Tried to speak to Dr. R, ended up getting a message back from Meg that she refused to give me the RX and that we could continue trying different meds. Horrible treatment. Making me feel bad that I wanted a RX that I knew worked for me. It was disgusting to me that they lie, and care so little about their patients mental health. Instead of giving me the medication that worked for me, that I had been on pRN for years prior, in a very small dose, she wanted me to keep trying different meds that are made for people with disorders that I do not have. They are not accredited with the BBB and they need some of their providers looked at a little harder.Jennifer Dehe

If you actually need psychiatric help look elsewhere! 🙁 I apologize in advance for how long winded this will be, but I need to share my experience in case someone who really needs help doesn't waste valuable time. My partner and myself have been established patients for about 1 year.. It took several months for me to get my first appointment. I started recieving cancelations after scheduling several appointments in advance and they would give me about a 30 min notice before my scheduled appt time. It is very upsetting that we are charged a cancelation fee if you don't give Elite 24 hours notice, but it is okay to for them to cancel on us when they were more than aware that there employee was going to be unavailable for "x" amount of weeks Now on to the actual problem, my partner is STRUGGLING. He is dealing with physical and mental pain that I can't begin to imagine. His appointments were canceled and rescheduled and the psyche nurse Meg didn't know why he was there. I get it the ball was dropped, it happens. This wasn't the first time though. I spoke with the office manager Tammy, she was polite and was able to get him an appointment the next day with Dr Rodriguez to straighten it out. 5 minutes into his appoint with Dr Juan Rodriguez he was discharged as a patient to him and having a panic attack in the hallway. My partner said it felt like the dr was frustrated before the appointment even started. The way he spoke to my partner during thier brief interaction was unprofessional, insincere, and inappropriate. I'm really disappointed in the way this situation was handled. My partner was clearly distressed. I spoke to Tammy the same day, the once polite woman who I spoke to the day prior changed tune, lied to my face and started speaking to me in a condescending way. I was waiting to post this review until I received an actual discharge letter, however due to the level of incompetence of the cape coral location we never received one. I feel like because I wanted to air my grievances in person vs the internet he was punished as a result of it. Side note, Amanda and Ashley are always on time. They are wonderful people and good at what they do. The front office staff always greet you with smiling faces and a positive energy.Schmaddie Mitt

I have never had a more discouraging experience. Tried to get thru to Dr for an entire week, called several times a day, left numerous messages with Dr. Assistant, compliance dept, office manager…..while on hold, you hear their mission statement “your mental health is our #1 priority “. My daughter has been a patient of Yanette’s for 4 years, and not a single call back in a crisis. Unbelievable….. Update: 1 month later….no one has reached out , daughter walks into clinic, without seeing Dr., and is prescribed same medication that ‘could have” been the issue in the first place. Called to see if theY could at least (hippa) have Dr. Call to check on her, but without my daughter calling (WHO IS THE ONE IN CRISIS AND DOESN’T EVEN REALIZE IT)there’s nothing they can do…but call in MORE MEDS….without Dr. Consult. Shame on the mental health system in this country….shame!Sandy H

Worth Every Penny. Because of our evaluation with Dr. Lisle, I finally understand why my daughter (who is very bright) was struggling with reading and writing. The public school system failed my daughter. All of her teachers said "it just hasn't clicked yet" or "she's not THAT far behind" but in my heart I knew something was wrong. I am forever grateful that Dr. Lisle diagnosed my daughter with Dyslexia and gave us a plan for how to get her back on the right path. ESA DOGGY ESADoggy is a class act from start to finish and most importantly, the real deal. I sent the company an email over the weekend with some questions and expected an answer on Monday when they opened. The owner of the company, Chaz Steven’s called me immediately on Sunday afternoon and answered all my questions, giving me the reassurance I was looking for. What customer support calls back on a Sunday, let alone the company owner? After my concerns were put to rest, I paid, completed the application and the next day spoke to a licensed therapist. The therapist was incredibly, knowledgeable, nice and helpful. I ordered the regular 5-10 day service (not expedited) and the process was completed in 4 days. I spent a few days looking for a company to get a PSA letter and there were so many questionable companies and scams. I really want to that Chaz and Lisette, I was so worried as I researched other websites that offer letters etc. I have been diagnosed since I was in grammar school and was nervous about explaining my personal details to someone that I did not know on those other sites and when I came across ESA and Chaz made me feel understood. This is the only real online ESA service I have found. They paid you with a local therapist and you have a full therapy session via phone or zoom and they get you the needed paperwork fast. If you’re in need of an ESA this is the easiest and fastest place to get it. I was excited to have the opportunity to write a review for Dr. Fasula and the work she and her team are doing at the Neurogenesis Center of Florida. I am a physician practicing in a non-surgical spine and musculoskeletal pain scope of practice, helping patients overcome pain rapidly and helping them learn the tools to manage their conditions independently with exercise. One of the factors we take into consideration that is most critical to a patients success in overcoming pain is the psychological fear that is often (naturally) associated with chronic pain. Working with Dr. Fasula in a collaborative way and being able to refer my patients to a trusted psychologist has yielded incredible outcomes and results for patients I otherwise felt were stuck or hopeless. My daughter is currently at Viamar, and I can’t say enough positive things about the program. After hospitalizations, various groups, day programs, individual therapy and more, my daughter is finally getting the treatment that she needs. She has worked harder at Viamar than she has ever done before. The routines, programs, and staff have been the perfect fit for her. She often comments that the program is intense and very hard but it is helping her to peel back the layers to get to the root of her eating disorder as well as the co disorders that accompany it. All families are very much encouraged to be involved in treatment with private family therapy as well as a weekly session consisting of learning and understanding the components of eating disorders and how to deal with them, the language you use around your loved one, and how to encourage intuitive eating. In addition, every other Saturday there is a virtual session called Caring Persons. This session combines all patients and family members virtually. This is a very intense and often moving program which highlights the struggles and growth of two or three families per week. It has been proven to be a productive and successful addition to the recovery process. I have found the staff to be exceptionally skilled and very accommodating. My daughter has bounded with her doctor, counselor, and nutritionist as well as the rest of the staff. She is very happy with the level of care she has received. I too am very happy with the level of communication and professionalism of all of the staff I have encountered thus far. My daughter has progressed from residential to a PHP home. She is very comfortable there and is learning how to manage her own meals while still attending all programming at the center on a daily basis. She has done well with the less stringent routine but still feels very supported. She has not indicted that she wants to come home. In fact, for the first time, she is 100% committed to getting well and doing whatever it takes to overcome her eating disorder, her depression, and her other co disorders. She said she wants to “stay for the long haul” and do it right this time. This speaks volumes about Viamar. Consequently, we feel that Viamar is the perfect program for our family, and we highly recommend it. We have been given hope and relief, something we have been searching for for years.Pam Tee

I came to ViaMar in August of 2020 as a shell of a person. I was completely consumed by my eating disorder, addiction, depression, and anxiety. My life had become completely unmanageable. They are saving my daughter's life and I am eternally grateful ! I simply can not say enough great things about the incredible caring staff and the outstanding efficacy of their program. Every other facility we worked with or tried to work with let us down and left my daughter in serious danger. The owner of ViaMar Health personally fought with our insurance provider to make sure that she got the life saving treatment she needed. She has made remarkable gains and is still working to overcome her severe eating disorder. Since being admitted, she has regained her weight, learned coping and life skills and has matured greatly. Our pediatrician referred my daughter to The Counseling Associates to help with Anxiety and life transitions. I had very specific qualities I was looking for. This is my child and I only want the best. My 17 year-old daughter has been seeing Priscilla for 14 months. I have seen an unbelievable amount of growth. Increase in confidence, self-esteem, self awareness, HAPPINESS. My daughter says she can always count on Priscilla to “keep it real.” Priscilla helps set realistic goals and realistic expectations. I experienced a traumatic event many years ago and had met with a few counselors over the years, but failed in finding any meaningful help. Pricilla has helped me cope with that experience so effectively that I am feeling better than I have in ten years! It was important for me to really trust and respect my counselor, I did not click that way with the other counselors I tried .Pricilla listens, comforts , advises but also tells you like it is, even when it’s not what you want to hear. I did have some difficulty getting an appointment, and I have to drive to Ft Myers, but now that I am being seen it is totally worth it. Been seeing a specialist in this field for more than 10 years before being relocated to the area, and the people who treated me last week were all kind, knowledgeable, professional, timely and very willing to help and allow for feedback- which doesn’t always happen. I almost gave up, but someone called me and they were very helpful, and I was in the office 2 days later. So, I’m glad I stuck it out. My provider is so intuitive & she gave me so much information. After booking an appointment and asking for an address for the location I was told to Google it. When I arrived at the location that appeared on Google it was the pediatric center. I was told to just go to the correct location. They would call ahead and it would not be a problem. Sat traffic for another 15 minutes to arrive and to be told that I had to go home and reschedule another day despite driving an hour and a half for the appointment, and being assured that it would be OK as a place that deals with mental health. This is disgusting. I will tell everyone I can not to use this place if this is how they treat their clients.Matt Melheim

Both my therapist and psychiatrist are amazing. I work in the Healthcare industry and completely understand how hectic these offices can be. So I'm not going give a lower star rating for the office staff (they are generally nice, but it's difficult to get urgent appointments, the office staff do not communicate effectively, and they NEVER return the call that they tell you they'll return). HOWEVER, the services I receive from the providers makes up for the back office. My providers are flexible, personable, and cultural sensitve. I brought my son to this doctor for dyslexia testing and ended up bringing my 3 other kids to her for testing too since she was so phenomenal. I recommend her to all my friends who worry about how their kids are doing at school. She is caring, so good with the kids, and SO SMART. Beautiful office too! and she doesn't just go and write you a prescription for medicine right away like the other doctors try to. Dr. DenBoer is the best!Amanda Marie

Dr. Hendon took great care of my hubby while at Blake. Should you be lucky enough to find Dr. Hendon at your bedside at one of the three hospitals he works & rotates through (busy man), you are in great hands. This university needs Jesus. I have seen too much. I was a student at BIOLA until over a year ago I decided to leave. There is a specific 'BIOLA mold' that you have to fit, otherwise you will not fit in at all. you have to be evangelical (even though they allow all denominations to attend). If you are not white, or at least act like you are white, then you will not fit in at all. They have an annual SCORR (student congress on racial reconciliation) conference, but the students think that we should pretend that there is no race and that there is only one race (the human race). but don't realize that people of difference races experience life and the world differently. The one thing that bothers me the most is that they will allow pretty much anyone in for a chapel speaker. Kind of like TBN allows pretty much anyone on there channel. Each person is pointing in a different direction saying, "the right way is this way". And they have become so worldly. One good example is concerning their view on LGBT rights. Many years ago, mid twentieth century, they would not hesitate to hire coloured staff and faculty, in fact they would do it despite the many people that were strongly against it. But now they are extremely ambiguous about their view on LGBT people. I have many other things to say, but they are too personal. If you are considering going to this school and are not straight, white (or are greatly influenced by the white culture), evangelical, or between 17 and 21 years old, you should seriously pray about it. God did many amazing things for me there, but none of them had to do with the people there. He showed me His presence and His power and His love, but not through the Bible classes, not through the faculty/staff, not through the students. Many of the bible classes were too vague and required that your Bible be a textbook. Other biblical/theological classes don't even address the love, power, grace, peace, freedom of Jesus Christ. The faculty/staff are really hit or miss, but having personal conversations with some of them I noticed that they either focus on reason or they have strange views that they also teach in their classes. The students are neglectful in my opinion, they probably don't usually intend to be, but it truly is hard when you have a test or essay due in 4-6 different classes. It really bothers me that, just before I left, there was an announcement about a certain speaker who was coming back and how after they were here about 6 years before, that an almost revival occurred and lasted for a few weeks. The way they talked about this was very positive and the response was also very positive. The Biola (Bible Institute Of Los Angeles-founded 1908) Campus in La Mirada California is a beautiful place to visit, even if you're not planning to become a student. The creek that goes through campus swells up to a wild river when it rains, which is usually only in the winter. The library with the round lantern as identifier, is a must visit building, note that when you enter it says "I am the light of the world" but when you leave, enlightened by your studies, it says "YOU are the light of the world" Both are Bible verses, John 8:12 and Matthew 5:14 respectively.Kees Van Hartingsveldt

Hated it! For a "Christian College" It's shore is very racist. The first time I visited my best friend's campus I've received plenty of stares and light whispers like I do not belong. Teachers and counselors where very rude. The reason why I visited this college in the first place is because I wanted to try to register to be closer to my faith. From all the negativity I received from this college, It kind of questions your faith. Thank "god" I did not register and I saw the school for what it really is. A facade! I will never visit this college ever again.TOJO J

Firstly, I just wanted to say I got the help I needed and this isn't related to childcare. So far, my experience at this school has been great. I'm a newer student at FGCU and I was trying to find my way around campus so I walk to the nearest place I could find. Not sure of the exact name but the little eagle learning center. I was met at the door by the center's director. I didn't catch a name but she had red hair. She did help me but I felt like she was very reluctant to guide me in the right direction. You know when someone just wants to get rid of you? That's how I felt. She wasn't very welcoming and I understand it may be due to a personal issue or the fact that they might not have wanted random visitors due to COVID-19 (but I had just stood outside because she was almost blocking me from entering). That's fine but I never stepped foot into the center. But honestly, she made me feel kind of foolish for asking for help. There wasn't any need to treat me as an annoyance. The rest of my experience here has been good though.Noel

Nice school enjoyed my four years here, you’ll maybe use the beach a handful of times, it’s not that cool it’s a lake with gators, soar in 4 is a lie they only pay for your first year if you pay out of pocket, don’t use fafsa and don’t use florida prepaid or anything like that… the teachers are good some harder than others, attendance is mandatory in most classes with teacher’s having the liberty to cancel or not show up whenever, as if we, the students, don’t pay them… interesting, take lots of weird electives chances are you’ll enjoy them, the basketball team has fallen off since 2017 our baseball team and girls basketball is decent, no much of a party school so I guess it’s easy to focus on classes. Overall an easy school.myles worrell

Beautiful university, great professors, nice housing, good community, lots to do, lots of options for food, nature trails, lots of parking, easy to navigate, etc. Amazing university especially for environmental students. I love being a student here. Only complaint is that most of the general staff (not professors!) is rather unhelpful and difficult to work with. You constantly have to nag people and deal with incompetence just to get anything general done (housing, enrollment, fees, etc.). If you are a new student, try not to get discouraged by the incompetent staff because once you finally deal with the nonsense, the actual education and community aspects are worth it imo.Fish

She is great and easy to talk to. She is great and right on target with her diagnosis and treatment. I highly recommend her for counseling and she works with all age groups and families!Dr. Faezeh Andrews
