buses and parking are nightmares here. No parking or you will have to pay everytime you park including weekend whereas other schools often free. Buses always late and full. The school not even tried to get more buses. Also, there is 40mins wait between 2 buses. Finally, unequal opportunity for on cambus job or help. We came to many departments and asked for help but they rarely tried to solve but kept saying we could not do anything. And we came back multiple time and the other did help us out. I enjoyed my time at UNT, made some great friends, and I have good memories. However, this University is not longer a place of higher education but a political activist training ground. I never thought that I’d see the day that The First Amendment would not be honored at UNT, but that is what has happened. And to think I have a degree in Criminal Justice from there is similar to being trained as an EMT by Dr. Kevorkian. Awful….it’s too bad that I will not be able to hire any students (or UNTs “product”) from here as it’s just too risky. Same with giving to the Development office.Where's Waldo?

The Grad program is a joke. I've never met more people incompetent of doing their job. The undergrad school should conduct training with the grad school to get them up to par. Because they dropped the ball, I now get stuck with their issues. Also the elderly lady working in billing should take a phone etiquette class. We are in 2022. There shouldn't be this many issues consistently happening. Yet, the undergrad side was on top of every single aspect. I've been using this clinic off and on for several years and overall I've been satisfied with the level of care I've received. Pros: They have really good hours for people who work 9-5 jobs, with evening and weekend availability. They are very affordable. Individual counseling is $10 a session and couples counseling is $15 a session. They offer counseling for all ages. Cons: The counselors are Master's and PHd students working under the guidance of a Professor, so they are not perfect and you might only have a specific counselor for a few months.Arrie Bee

Good campus with a diverse crowd of both students and lecturers. Many quiet nooks to study and focus with a good mix of social areas for getting distracted from your studies. UNT has done a great job increasing student activity here in recent years, it seems every week they have a different booth set up handing out free stuff, especially towards the end of the semester. My only complaint would be that parking is pretty expensive at $250 for the year.Nick Frease

Quiet place, and the facility is about 12 acres. Many students go from the main campus to this facility to get their work done in a more efficient manner. It's about four miles north of the main campus so you have to drive or ride the shuttle to go to some of the engineering classes. Lots of parking and easy to park near the building if you come early enough.Zach Fry

It's a nice place to have classes. The down side is it is off 'main campus'. You have to either drive or ride the bus (which can be late or packed depending on the time of day). There is a cafeteria out here and it is a huge facility where research is conducted.Alex Fatum

Dr. Carola gave me my life back, literally. I'd began having seizures due to an anxiety disorder. She worked with me for over a year using CBT and bio-feedback. First-rate psychologist. Good for people with mental illness. Choose her, a PhD psychologist, over someone with a masters in counseling when you need help with an actual mental disorder, as opposed to marriage problems or something. That’s my opinion anyway.
