The housing staff is horrible, they have put 2 charges on my account and they admitted to not knowing how they got my name however they refused to take it off even when the camera showed I never stayed, 3 weeks later I spoke to Hr for them to remove it and they did it the same day. The other one was removed 2 weeks later after the payment date. I would also recommend you bring in your own food or check it before leaving the dinning hall. I found so much mold and was served under cooked to many times. The drinks apply as well check the ice whole before u get if there is black stuff around it use the other machines.(not sure if they are gonna clean up before the fall but there is also mold in between the soda machines) Not only the dinning side but be careful with the soda/juice in the deli side the they both are spoiled. And check the expiration date of each snack you do choose to take I had 3 month old jello and I still can’t get that’s fussy taste out my mouth. Either side will not hesitate to sell old milk or old food and bunch it all up to be given out on the weekends. There is a wëëd problem at this school as well so be careful because if anyone in your dorm doesn’t it you maybe be accused of doing it as well by the campus police. Not on to the professors, you need to hold some of their hand and walk them three days the grading process. I had 3 professors(1 was in person and the other 2 was online) last semester wait til the end of the semester to grade everyone from my midterms to out introductions at the beginning. For online teachers make sure you double check their comments after they grade and read up on stuff ahead of time so u can message them early because they don’t respond to message in a timely manner. Navarro College was STELLAR! As a former Bulldog, I'm proud to have called this school my home. Professors are knowledgeable and interesting individuals, the staff are all charming and helpful, and the atmosphere of the entire facility is one of safety and growth. Plus, Dr. Fagan (the man in charge of it all) is incredibly personable and makes a point of greeting and interacting with students every chance he gets! The staff at the Corsicana campus are very rude. Upon inquiring about something the registrar didn’t know about; she went on to yell at me over the counter while the lobby was full of other students. There are only a handful of instructors that are dedicated and willing to see their students succeed. After all we pay to go there and I believe that the students need to treated with a bit of respect. The Cashiers are generally nice and will help you out.Nethmal Perera

I just completed the MSN FNP program, however, my diploma/degree conferral is being held until September. As a result, I cannot obtain a license to practice until, at least, September. Most likely, it’s going to be even longer than that. I had a job lined up but, now that I have no way to get certified for, at least, two months, that’s gone. Oh, and, yes, it does state that at the end of the end of a page, after encouraging me to take two different certification exams which run upwards of $300 each just to sit for the exam. There are review courses available but each one runs about $395 if you want a reputable one. So, in summation, I have completed an advanced degree, have incurred the cost of this degree, still have to work as an RN for two to three more months, lost my potential job, and my diploma is, in essence, being held for ransom. Dr. Sara Runge and Dr. Eileen Shanahan arranged a summer Camp for GRAD Cincinnati this week (June 13th-June15th). This is our 7th year working with Dr. Runge and as in previous years the program was very well planned. The students were able to experience the campus life by staying in the dorms and all of the colleges with hands on experiences. The students' presentations indicated they all learned a great deal. They all stated we had a great time. Even though the weather hit a record high, the staff from NKU worked very hard to make certain the students had a fulfill campus experience. NKU staff and professors did an outstanding job providing a 3 day college tour/retreat for our High School students. NKU staff offered our students opportunities to explore their academic interests, participate in hands on activities and visit a variety of labs, which in turn helped spark new ideas for career options and educational pursuits. Students were given opportunities to ask questions, interact with professors, department heads, other staff members, and a student panel which helped them to understand college on a deeper level. I visited the campus while staying in the area for the total solar eclipse in 2017. The campus was clean and safe. Internet searching showed that this was the only place in the US with white squirrels. I walked around the campus for 2 hours but only saw regular squirrels. Many students were not aware that this campus was known to have white squirrels and those who were aware said they never saw one. Just as I was about to give up, I spotted one by Potter Hall! As a 4th year student who will be graduating in Spring 2018, I will be terribly sad to be forced to leave such a terrific school. UGA has provided me with all the opportunities I could ever want. I was looking for a college that would have all the resources I would need in order to go to Optometry School and UGA has exceeded my expectations. The classes here have truly prepared me well for the next 4 years of my life. I am grateful to have gone to such an amazing school. If you’re looking to go into the healthcare field and want to be best prepared for graduate school, UGA is the right way to go. Also, the campus is large and beautiful! After UGA, I will be attending the University of Alabama at Birmingham College of Optometry. So luckily, I won’t be too far from UGA. I attended Sullivan for their culinary arts program and I have some insight for future students going into the program. First being, have an idea for what you're wanting to achieve in life. Culinary school is very expensive for what you get and there are other, more cost efficient ways to achieve your goals. I recommend working in the industry for at least two years before you decide to go to culinary school. You will find a lot of well-known chefs didn't graduate culinary school. Everything you are learning in school can be self taught or learned in the industry.The key to becoming a great chef is the understanding of the industry. I say this all because at Sullivan its just a matter of time before you're screwed over by financial aid. The entire department is very disorganized. Important papers of mine seemed to keep going missing in their hands making my life very stressful. Also if you plan on doing on campus housing just DON'T. I haven't had any problems with Sullivan. I have been here for about 6 months and after attending JCC and UofL I must say Sullivan has already given me a much better experience. JCC and UofL let me (at 18) pick a bunch of random classes that were way too hard and never got back to me about any issues, it took way too long to get in touch with anyone for meetings or questions and at Sullivan they are always a quick phone call or office visit away. Teachers seem to really care and take the time to call you on their off time to congratulate you on good test scores, inquire why you are missing class, or pull you aside in class if you are on the brink or failing or even on the brink of getting an "A". If you don't miss a lot of class there won't be any problems, and there are even students in my classes who are active duty and miss class a lot and teachers have been as accommodating as possible. I can honestly say that transferring to Sullivan University from the University of Louisville was one of the best decisions I ever made. Class sizes are small, so it's easy to ask questions and get help if you need it. The instructor's here aren't just trying to "push you through", they actually care that you learn the material. The food served in the cafeteria is great and all of the staff/personnel are super helpful and friendly. My only complaint however would be the financial planning office. Some of the advisers can be kind of rude and you have to constantly call/send e-mails just to get a response for an appointment, in my experience. It's best to just show-up in person and request a meeting. Other than that, I would highly recommend Sullivan University to potential students.Brea M

I plan on transferring here to finish my MBA and so far the institute has been awesome, very helpful and informative. One of a few schools if you meet undergrad GPA requirements (3.4+) for their program you can skip the GMAT and gain entry into their program. Extremely fair cost of attendance @ roughly $570 per credit hour. Look forward to continuing this relationship! The professors are amazing. You really have a feeling that they want you to succeed. Once you graduate they really just drop you. I tried working with career services and they only met once then dropped you. Really disappointed in the behavior of no longer a check coming in we no longer care. I have an amazing work history with several degrees but this new degree is transferring over to something new. So I really wanted help in the job search and advice in moving into something different. I attended night classes to try and finish my degree as an adult. I am told that classes during the day are very different. My experience was incredibly frustrating. The professor of my computer class struggled to log in to her computer and often asked me to help answer questions for the class. I took a speech class and the professor did not grade students on an even scale. The highest grade in the class was the student that wrote her entire speech and then read it without ever looking up. That is only a couple. Almost every in seat class was poorly taught.Shanleyhan

I appreciate Rasmussen University for having an abundance of resources and many professors and other staff members who demonstrate they want students to succeed. I especially have enjoyed being a peer educator, being privileged to work with Tammy Hopps who is an excellent supervisor and leader, and also being able to work with other peer educators who care for their peers as much as I do. I transferred from a local state college, which I considered sticking with to save money, but in reality, not much is saved when you compare the timeframe for graduation. At the state college it would take me an extra 2 whole years to receive my BSN, whereas at Rasmussen I save 2 years of time because of their second-degree BSN option. I am very pleased with the quality of technology – at the state school blackboard and other resources were slow and did not work as well on my cell phone, whereas with Rasmussen I can easily access everything I need from my phone when I'm on the go. It's inspiring to see so many single parents and married parents in school, some of which also work full time or part time like myself while completing their degree. I had such high hopes when enrolling at this school. However my experience hasn't been favorable at all. I am a current student and I was disappointed because even though I was able to enroll and start classes I really felt unsupported on this journey. I'm realizing Rasmussen may not be the school for me. I REALLY thought I would be supported and encouraged. I was made to feel that Rasmussen would be rooting for me through my academic journey. Instead I am bombarded with emails and calls telling me what I already know… I owe money. No calls or emails about how I can be helped to budget so that I can pay more toward the balance. I'm only being told: what I owe, to get the balance down to $500-$1000 and to take out loans; which will only put me in debt and it's too early to be taking out loans when I've been in school since September of 2021 and have 2 more years. Also this school doesn't cater to single parents, limited income and individuals that HAVE to work. I called to get information, He had no patience and told me Not to proceed a career in Nursing because it was Not for me. Absolutely horrendous. I originally rated the school at 3 stars while I was attending but now that it's over they deserve as few stars as possible. The pros: great Art, Philosophy, and Engineering Technology programs. The cons: pretty much everything else. Parking is a joke. After gouging you on price for a sticker they intentionally oversell (e.g. 130 stickers for 100 spots) they often ticket and/or tow regardless of whether you've got the sticker displayed. Food services is equally asinine. The staff and workers are all friendly and mostly competent but the selection and hours of availability are poor at best and any meal or plan is horrendously overpriced. The computer science department (both professors) recently quit and were replaced with whatever they could find in the bargain bin. The math department, while surprisingly helpful and personable, is woefully underfunded. Maybe the new president will fix things but my time (and a sizable amount of money) has already been wasted.Eric Lawson

My daughter was a freshman here. She got in a little trouble a misdemeanor and was immediately voted off campus and 2 year suspension and even tho she did not have operaters license or transportation. She was told she had to evacuate dorm even without transportation. This policy is the worse school policy i ever seen. I will be talking with Ky. State dept. Of Education. worst school ever. came here as a religious member on LGBTQ+ community and definitely wasn’t accepted even though I was religious. you have to be a straight white die hard christian to get the slightest respect, or the star player of a sports team. their saying “one big team” only applies to certain people. very unfriendly to people of different races, religions, and sexualities. student life is very poor (hardly any activities for students that are actually enjoyable and students are not nice). dorms are not clean and very old, RAs and staff in general are VERY rude and pressure you into going to bible study, fake people on campus, food is bad especially from the caf, absolutely awful town with nothing to do besides suck the life out of you. the staff and faculty promise a lot of things and do not follow through, they are simply there to take your money. the school is small and seems like the only thing students enjoy doing is gossiping and spreading rumors. worst 3 years of my life…. not sure how anyone could enjoy that school. my best advice is to go literally anywhere else or transfer to get an actual college experienceTaylor Links

STAY AWAY FROM THIS SCHOOL. I transferred here for the start of my junior year after moving back home, it was the worst mistake ever!! Some of the professors here are terrible. They’re terrible with working with you as well as communication. Don’t get me started on the admissions office. I went completely ballistic on a few of the staff. I was supposed to graduate in May 2021 because I would have all the required courses needed to do so from the people I had talked to when I first attended the school. At the end of February, I was notified I was missing two courses but by that time I could only for one of those in my schedule because I would be over the limit for credits and I’d have to stay for the summer and take a course. Which I wasn’t cool with. I had been at the school for 2 years and I felt that this wasn’t handled properly at all. This school is very unprofessional and if I would’ve known from the beginning I would’ve just stayed where I was. I recommend NOT going here if you want to keep your peace and sanity. I was a student here from 2020-2022 and I would nor recommend going unless you are conservative, white, christian. While there definitely are some good people and I had good experiences. The overall quality of the school is run down, unclean, and not worth your money. I will say I had a good experience with the professors in the psychology department. However, the food options/quality are horrible especially if you are someone with certain dietary needs (Vegan, Gluten-Free, etc.) It is a very small town and believe me it looks so great as a high school senior or a parent, but they make so many empty promises and it is truly not at all as good as it looks on the outside.Isabelle Soult

Definitely live on campus if you are looking for the full college experience. I've lived here for 3 years as an undergraduate and the facilities are very nice and the people very helpful. It's easy to find a job through the university and the research opportunities in science blow many other universities out of the water. Scholarships are also abundant if you know where to look and ask around. Professors range from fantastic to poor like at any university. I believe there are over 300 organizations and clubs to get involved in and always neat things like movies playing, dances, carnivals, etc, you just have to know to look for them. The campus is beautiful, especially in the spring and summer when the fountain is going and everyone is lounging outside. IUPUI is what you make of it, and getting involved is the best way to experience it.Amber Goad

If I could put no stars I would. Okay so I was doing pretty well in the college at first all A's and B's everything was going great! Until I ended up having to help out with rent so I had to get a job, and being a mother also I am one of the few who would NOT want to put that much stress (job, kids, and school) on myself. So I call them and tell tell whoever (if only I remembered her name) my situation and how I won't be able to attend anymore, and she ends up asking me all these questions like why am I withdrawing and questions that shouldn't really be asked because she didn't even say it's policy or anything, she just wanted to know. So I tell her I'm starting my new job soon and she asked me the one question that just actually made me done with her, she asked, "Are you sure you're not able to do all 3?" as in all 3 she means taking care of my child, going to work, and going to school. Let that sink in. It actually made me even more frustrated because she was telling me that if I did now it would cost a lot to pay back, but listen if I have to withdraw I have to. There's no 'Are you sure you want to?' So they said they'd call and tell me the rest of the details so we can get through with the withdrawal process and I haven't gotten a call yet but what I did get was an attendance email from Outlook telling me that I won't be able for eligibility for my financial aid if I miss 14 days. Wow. So, I'm going to call them now because this is ridiculous and I do not have time. But if you do go to this school, please be careful. i know that other people will have a better experience or whatever. But this is not one of them.AiKitty Chan

I was excited to start my online career here. However the guy in admissions that was assigned to me was not for me. He was not personable at all I only spoke to him one time and that was for five minutes he never explained anything just said he will send me an email if assessments that was it never heard from him again I tried email him several times never received a email or a phone call until five day later stating to complete more assessments I had questions and he did not answer them . 1. They don’t offer free counseling to students. I can’t imagine a university not caring about their students mental health 2. The bus schedule to pick students up to bring them to the university is unclear and the coach for Soccer said she never sees it either 3. You don’t have a credit union. Many students don’t have credit and credit unions are a great/safe way to help students open up into that world. UW Green Bay has all of these things. If you're looking for an education in the medical technologies field this is the place! It is a private college so prices will be a little higher than a university but you get what you pay for. I'm not sure the reason for the negative reviews. It is an accelerated study program on the quarter system and they have a zero tolerance absence policy which may have caused problems for some. My experience has been quite amazing! The student to teacher ratio is lower than you'll find anywhere. All of the instructors and staff are super friendly and knowledgeable. They'll almost bend over backwards to make sure you have every tool and opportunity you need to be successful. Also I have to mention the job placement rate they have after graduation. In the field I'm studying it is a 100% employment rate. The lowest placement among the fields is around 95%. You really can't beat that!Philip Sewell

My wife has attended this school, did everything go smooth, no, but any school that you attend after high school is not going to go smooth. Look, this school like all other schools of higher education, has issues, and those issues are being worked out, worked out for the good of the school, which in turn benefits the students. You go to school to get a higher education, not to party. Working in the medical profession, you need to have your game face on not your clown face. The medical profession is no joke, this is serious, your dealing with peoples lives. The nursing program is unorganized and they just want your money. The dean is no help and is always on the side of the professors. Sometimes we don’t have any direction. Class times were all over the place. They don’t unlock blackboard until the Monday that classes start which makes it hard to plan your life. They tell us stuff last minute and expect us to comply. Months into the program they just now tell us we need to have updated immunization forms when they we’re supposed to keep track of them in the beginning. Do not waste your money. As I approach the end of my studies I wanted to take the time to say that I absolutely loved Beckfield College. The flexibility of having fully remote courses made it very easy for me tobcomplete study with 2 babies. Instead of having to worry about sitters and sitting in class for hours at a time multiple times a week. When problems did arise I recieved prompt assistance and the staff was simply amazing. I absolutely loved the computer the school supplied and was so thrilled when i was informed it was covered under warrenty after my daughter broke it. With no questions asked Beckfield's staff made it very easy to ensure all necessary materials for sucessful studying were aquired. Not to mention the huge benefit of the 6 week courses and the quicker progression than other facilities. If your looking to go back to school I highly recommend Beckfield College and thier tuitions aren't through the rough. I’ve been doing Penn Foster online schooling for almost a whole year now. I’ve found this online experience a great one. They are very helpful in all ways possible. I’ve called a few time and their stuff is helpful and kind. They help so much with the questions you ask and reassurance you need. You go at your own past, fast, or as slow as you want. I’ve struggled so much in the past with schools , I’ve been to over 6+ schools and I started at the point have an IEP/ taking classes for it. I am the mother of two students at Penn Foster who just graduated. They are 15 and 17 years of age. They were placed in Penn Foster due to being bullied by teachers at their local school. My oldest enrolled with 0 credits in Oct of 2019 and my youngest enrolled with 7 credits in June of 2020. My oldest graduated Dec 07, 2020 and my youngest graduated Dec 23. 2020. They loved that they could go as slow or as fast as the wanted. They loved not having a schedule or having to have any interactions with teachers. Their overall experience was great. I have one more student, my 16 year old step-daughter working on it now. She's 41% done. We also have a 14 year old who will be enrolling once done with 8th grade. I attended Chase from August 2019 – May 2020. They made my 1L year an incredible experience. My professors were very overqualified; I had professors from Harvard, Yale, Columbia, and Georgetown. What stood out to me even more though was how dedicated they were to helping us succeed. I met with professors outside of class plenty of times and they were always available and there to help. I called the law office of Karl Truman and spoke with Michelle regarding problems with my VA disability claims. She was very helpful in our phone conversation and I decided to go to their office on Timberwood Circle to speak with her in person. She was very helpful in informing me what I needed as far as forms to refile my claim along with helping me to fill them out and even faxed the forms to the VA. Thank you so much to The Pharr Law Group who so graciously and was so willing to help me with my ticket and charged me a VERY REASONABLE price compared to other places and got to work right away. I shouldn't even give one star. I received and email and a call from this company. Although the person I talked to was nice, but was too eager to hire me even though I didn't meet all of the job requirements. That alone is a red flag. Even when I hung up on the guy he called me back twice! A real job they would let you go after a hang up. I then realized this was not even a company I applied for. THIS IS A SCAM! I was at a loss, whenever I was denied mine and my late husbands accidental death policies. I had a friend direct me to contact Mr. Truman in regards to my situation, and see if he or his staff would be willing to take on my case. They were super eager to help me, and get this situation resolved as quickly as possible. Has not been very helpful. my wife who had perfect driving record got hit by a drunk driver that had all ready been arrested 2 other times for drunk driving that ran a red light and was put in hand cuffs and arrested . he said my wife ran the red light. carl truman said it was my wifes word against his since there were not vid cameras around for proof. my wifes car was totaled and drunks insurance would not pay a dime for damage or medical.Kenneth
