Baylor is an amazing school. For a few reviews before me we are not all "rich kids wanting to blow daddy's money" or "rude". I personally have a bad background that would not match the first statement. I am not rich. I am blessed to be in this university thanks to scholarships and my hard working mother. Baylor itself is a blessing. Its a rigorous school BUT very well worth it. I love being part of the Baylor community. Its a beautiful campus filled with loving people. Its not "perfect" because nothing is. There will be a few issues like yes there are some kids who don't care and my be rude or blow things off but really if you are a part of it you will see the majority of the campus and the people here are more than amazing and loving. This is a fantastic university for the liberal arts. I have talked to people from other universities and to those that have come to visit me at college, and all of them see a difference in the student body. There is just a different atmosphere. All the people are kind and welcoming and always willing to help in times of need. The professors are nationally ranked and are not only outstanding in their fields of study, but wonderful people as well. Even if you're not looking to go to college, its a beautiful campus to just walk around in. It's almost like a park in some ways. Just give it a visit and I promise you'll be hooked! I loved my time as I attended Baylor for undergrad, and grad school (2008-2015). The campus has changed so much since i first step foot in 2008 (all for the better). Baylor (and Waco) is in a resurgence/growth period. Its an awesome time for Baylor and Waco. I loved my time there even though I'm not religious (agnostic/theist). Great people (students and especially faculty), and community. There was a reason why I came back to get my masters at Baylor. They helped me get through some rough times, and i am better for it now. I'll preface this review by saying I am a parent of a student nearing completion of 2 years at Assumption. The campus and facilities are well kept, safe, clean and relatively modern. Like any institution, the staff is a mixed bag. We've had several instances of communications going unanswered, requiring follow up before a response is given or otherwise not rising to the level of what you'd wish for, when committing your child and a high level of financial support to any business. I'll also say that in the time of covid, things are more complicated for all businesses and families, not just Assumption. That said, when circumstances are difficult, authentic character is revealed. After returning to campus for a 'hybrid' semester, the kids who chose to try and have a semblance of normal college life, have been gravely disappointed. The protocols are strictly enforced, and most people (including me) understand they are a necessary fact of life today. Abiding by social distancing, masks, twice weekly testing and other processes must be embraced and I have no qualms with that stance. That said, Assumption has a policy disallowing all resident students from leaving campus, except in the most narrow of circumstances. Even doctor visits have been challenging for students and have required parental intervention before being approved. The mental health of many are suffering due to this policy. All the while, staff, administrators, vendors, security and all commuting students are allowed to come and go at will on a daily basis. The school professed in a recent letter that "commuting students have not led to an increase in virus transmission". If that is true, why then aren't the remainder of the students allowed to follow those same policies as long as they abide by standard protocols? As we have all experienced, human interaction and cautious freedom of movement are all part of a human being's wellness. Our child and many others, are being made to suffer by the university's, inflexible, extreme policy. If that policy were uniformly enforced for everyone attending Assumption, it might be easier to accept. Seeing hundreds of people come and go on a daily basis, while others are literally suffering in silence is devastating as a parent and as a human being with empathy. The school and its president are not available and open to communicate on this subject either. A recent post I submitted to the Facebook group, written respectfully and thoughtfully was disallowed. A recent Zoom call was held to address student concerns and the administrators kept attendees muted, disallowed cameras and didn't provide the ability to interact and genuinely communicate two ways. College is supposed to teach kids how to think for themselves, form opinions and demonstrate their independence. It's part of the educational package, which is not purely an exercise in passing tests. Assumption continually follows a pattern of carefully controlled communications instead of embracing a diversity of thought. I am a working professional and have been impacted by covid same as everyone in the world. My company has changed its policies and the situation is ever evolving. That said, I am not aware of any other walk of life, where coming/going is all but disallowed. Even prisoners are allowed familial visits, with safety protocols followed. If a student had a toothache, nobody would prevent him/her from seeking relief, but for anyone suffering depression, anxiety and mental anguish in part because they cannot simply blow off steam by meeting their parents for breakfast is told to 'stay resilient'. I drove an hour to watch the football game today. The email sent to the opposing team (us) said "All guests must be fully vaccinated, over the age of 12 years old, etc…. I am sure I was not and won't be the last person to misunderstand that statement as being "Anyone 12 and over has to be vaccinated" and not understood as "Children under 12 are not allowed". While written properly, this was extremely deceiving compared to the rules posted on your site (which I decided to search after the fact) that says CLEARLY no one under 12 will be allowed on campus. My 3 year old who is not even PERMITTED to be vaccinated and who was thoroughly looking forward to coming to the game was in tears when we had to turn around and go back home. My family has gone to almost all of the football games this season in various states and not once has there been such strict, unreasonable rules about an OUTDOOR event. Experience PART ONE. Experience PART TWO- When I pulled on to the campus, the security guard asked if I had a guest pass. I said No. He said, "OK then, pull up the hill and you'll see the main parking." I proceeded to do so. Less than 5-10 minutes after I pulled in, my father in-law pulled in and was asked the same question. Do you have a guest pass? He answered No. The exact same answer as I. Help me understand why he was told he couldn't proceed through the gate but I, who answered with the same exact answer, was allowed to pass? First of all, neither one of us should have been allowed to pass because we, again, had not been required to "register" to attend a game AT ANY OTHER SCHOOL this season. But secondly, I am a 35 year old Caucasian female and he is an older black male. You must understand that the rules that applied to him and didn't apply to me looks really, REALLY bad on behalf of your school. ALMOST DONE… These rules stated on your site which as I said I searched after the fact say, "In addition to being fully vaccinated, guests must follow current Assumption University health protocols, including the current mask wearing policy. Lastly, at this time tailgating of any sort is not allowed on campus." Since your guard so kindly allowed me to pass the gate without a guest pass, I was able to go onto the campus and see a designated parking lot FULL of Assumption tailgaters, NOT social distanced and NOT wearing masks. So basically what I understood from this is AGAIN the rules that apply to the visiting team did not apply to the Home team. And to close… "all guests must register to come to campus five days prior to arrival.." Five days prior… Is it realistic to think that the friends AND family of the visiting teams would even THINK that they'd have to go "REGISTER" to attend the next game only two days after their last game after watching games ALL season without any issue?? I can only hope and pray that you look into all of the above and not just disregard the happenings surrounding my TERRIBLE experience today at your school. Thank you! And congratulations on your Team win. I hope it was the encouragement of your home team fans that really gave your team the push. Your great efforts to keep out visiting spectators worked. The service at Taylor's dining hall is horrible and so is the quality of food. It doesn't even deserve 1 star. In my many experiences visiting my sister and eating here, they always close early and never have any food for those who have allergies. I'm allergic to gluten and the only option I have are carrots and hamburgers, in which most of the time I can't eat with having to go up 700 time to ask for more. I paid $12 to eat at an all you can eat buffet and I get to eat not even enough to count as a snack. If you try to ask for more the first time they will say no and then if you even want to have a small conversation while eating the first helping, they will be closed and take away all the food. Also the events for the family weekends and everything suck and are a waste of money. You have more chances of having fun if you just stay home and sleep.MacKenzie

The education I'm receiving at Syracuse University is second to none the professors are great and most of the friends I've made here are Syracuse University students friends that I will probably run into later in life the friends you make here are Syracuse University students from around the world, and some here in your own hometown, friends that you will make for life the professors are great they give you the tools you need for success in today's economy and in life and your own personal success. Going to Syracuse University to get an education is a blessing for me to be able to one day give back to my university in my community it's one of the best universities as far as a research school in the country, and their football team is pretty cool too.Stephen Mosher

My son is a recent Syracuse grad. From his first campus visit he felt a connection to this place. From his first day as a freshman through his last day at graduation, this school has given him great classes, amazing professors, lifelong friendships, travels to London, two final fours in four years. sleeping out in the cold for ten days before the sold out Duke game and many epic memories in the Carrier Dome. Syracuse University has so much to offer that smaller schools just don't. The campus is really nice and very well maintained. The finacial aid is great. The staff really helped him prepare for life after graduation as he had several job opportunities. My son loved Syracuse so much he decided to stay after getting a job right away. I had great professors and excellent guidance. I think. I mean, it WAS the first half of the seventies! Seriously though, I got everything I paid for, and more, from this great institution. The academic and extracurricular education and experience has served me extremely well and provided me with the ability to lead a happy and fulfilling life. What a great part of the country. The geography, the city, the history of the area, the geology (Love those drumlins!), the fantastic sports! What are you interested in? You can live it, and learn more about it, in Syracuse! Most of the bad reviews are coming from people who had ONE bad experience at like the book store or whatever or i gEt tHiEr aDs oN hUlu, though the veteran who shared his story probably has a decent case to make. Anyway I got a business degree from this college and if you actually try you can do really really well here, with great professors and programs like the honors program which gives high level learning at bottom dollar, and wonderful faculty like the folks at PTK, disability services, or the Fuller Center. Don't get me wrong, there's a lot to work on regarding graduation rates, the food, no one card system, etc but I couldn't give this place anything less than 5 stars because of all of the wonderful people who give 110% here, especially in those departments I mentioned. If you live in Worcester don't spend 30k a year to go to Assumption, you'll save so much money to come here. Seek opportunity, study for your tests, respect your professors and faculty, and most importantly, do your damn homework; I guarantee you'll be a success at this place if you do all of these things.Clark Kent

The qcc "police" are some of the most unqualified and unempathetic people in the area. There is no doubt they have no training, no expertise in law and zero idea of what they are doing. Maybe they should take some courses while they work their jobs at qcc in criminal justice. Maybe they can get a handle on their jobs. This is an awesome school and I am so disappointed that one teacher ruined it all for me. DO NOT take Professor Jane Joyce accounting classes or any classes from her. She is awful and not a good teacher in general. You will waist your money, time, and probably want to rip your hair out when she talks. First off, in the interest of full disclosure, I am a member of the class of ’75, so this is a truly ancient reflection. I transferred from a junior college in Fla. so I could continue my Aerospace major and receive a Bachelor’s degree. It was a wise decision. Classes were sized right, instructors truly dedicated and the people friendly. I have nothing but fond memories and good things to say about my experience. So what has happened in Murfreesboro since then? Well, according to the more recent alums I have talked to and this website, lots. To you who are now attending, my gosh I wish I had it so good. Dig up some old pics taken of the campus in the 70s. Notice any improvements? And the Aerospace Program- night and day difference. In short MTSU is doing a better job of educating its students and providing for their needs. Oh, to be young again. Of course it does seem there are some real issues that need to be addressed. The complaints about inept administration are distressing. Worse was the comment about crime- knife and gun- yikes! And then there is the common complaint running through all colleges (at least the ones my kids went to). Advisors don’t keep the students on track and the necessary courses aren’t available when they are needed. No excuses regarding the course availability, but by the time a student is a junior they should be able to read the college handbook and figure out what they need to graduate. I mean if they can’t … So, MT, as I believe you now like to call yourself, you have taken many steps forward and a few steps back. Keep up the good work.Al Phillips

Love this campus! There are good and bad professors, they have a lot of food choices, they have activities and events on campus all year around, the advisors in the Psychology department are very helpful especially Amy Foster, they also have a gym/rec center, just so much I like on the campus. There is only one thing I dislike is the parking…there is a lot of handicap parking and a lot in parking lots that are far away from classes that I noticed hardly anyone uses, and I feel it’s taking up a lot of space in the parking lots. Also they need to do Something about the parking in the MTSU lot a so that not a lot of water drains to the middle of the lot where people can’t park due to getting their shoes wet or getting stuck and fix the pot holes in that lot too! I attended class at MTSU last semester. Let me start by saying good luck during registration. I spend HOURS wasting my time to get told things were completer that weren't. I was required to pay extra fees because the school told me I could not begin classes unless I paid because of a mistake they made. During the middle of the semester I took a new job. I had to withdrawal from a class. I was told I would receive 25% of my paid tuition as a refund. This did NOT happen. No one is on the same page at this facility! I will be transferring schools due to my experience. I will state that the professors were good! Everything that happened negative had nothing to do with them. If you choose to go to school here, make sure people are not telling you what you want to hear. Make sure you double check everything!Michael Counter

Honestly this school is great. The professors teach very well and the people here are awesome! Only problems is that on the weekends Whitewater doesn't have a lot of stuff open so it feels like the school wants you to drink or something; they should leave the gym open longer on weekends. Lastly, the BIGGEST problem is the advising of the business department. You start out as a freshman with ACTUAL ADVISERS they help you and you are all ready for school. AAANNND their gone! You get some advisers that just send you premade emails and don't want to talk to you. My adviser has actually emailed me saying he was not going to respond to another email of mine. You then eventually get an "Adviser" but in reality is just a professor. Since they are payed to teach NOT be advisers some don't know the ever changing curriculum of UW-Whitewater. This is not the Professor's fault but the organization's fault. The organization has all sorts of ways to see if you are taking the right classes but you don't know which one is right because most of them are wrong. I love Whitewater: the people, the atmosphere, the teachers, the problem is advising. We are students, our job is to learn. They are teachers, their job is to teach.Brad Beran

This university offers MANY great opportunities for students to be involved in organizations or clubs- those who claim the city is boring must simply be boring people. I rarely even leave campus, and yet I enjoy every minute here. The classes and programs and professors here are top-notch. You won't find any TA's here! And the academic advisers truly seem to care about the students and are able to provide them with great advice. The best programs this school offers are business, education, social work, and marine biology, but almost every program here is high quality and only getting better. The facilities are constantly being updated, and it's a very accessible school for people with physical disabilities. Anything you can think of related to a top-of-the-line college, this one has it. UWW is a good school. A lot of negative comments on here. Not sure what curriculum people studied here. I studied business. The classes were taught by qualified, knowledgeable teachers. I can say that some teachers were better than others, but overall the instruction was very good. I see some of the ranting about having to pay for parking or encountering a pissy teacher. Some people need to grow up. Seriously. Business and education are the best schools at Whitewater. If you came to college, just to stroke and joke, and squeak by with a degree in basket weaving, its your fault and no one else's. Take some ownership.Tim Nolan

It’s unfortunate that I have to write this review but I am in hopes of MCPHS revising their admissions process for the Physician Assistant Program. I know that I was not the only student this year that was invited to interview and then closed out of an interview spot and placed on a waiting list. When I contacted MCPHS they told me that I may not get to interview after all as they had accidentally invited too many people to interview and did not have the resources to open up more interview dates even though acceptances are not on a rolling basis. How does a top tier medical university not have the resources to interview all the students they invited? By choosing to interview solely the people that happened to secure spots first, not only are they limiting the potential of their incoming class and proving that they only care about filling the spots for monetary reasons, but they are limiting the future of numerous successful students who worked hard to get an interview invitation. When I asked Jordan Hunt (admissions counselor) to make sense of this she was unable to provide a competent answer besides that the university messed up and the incoming students are the ones facing the repercussions. I’m not writing this for myself, but for the other students who were too timid to speak up or who had chosen this school as their top choice and then got screwed. I truly feel bad for some of the other incoming students who do not have other options and were relying on MCPHS. I am very disappointed. MCPHS either needs to change their interviewing process to rolling acceptances (interviewing the top tier students first and then going down the line) or they need to use this model but be willing to open up more dates in case of overflow. Side note: They informed me that students on the waiting list could be notified up to a day before an interview that a spot had opened up. Do they not take into consideration that everyone doesn’t live near Boston or works full-time? Extremely dissatisfied with this supposedly “top tier” medical college.Maddy Frank

Hey guys, good for all the students giving great remarks. I don't know if the school has paid you. I must say i was in the nursing program , ( the set that started 2005) the teachers were very bad. Everything was very difficult, out of 50 students that got into the nursing program only 15 students or even less that graduated from the program. Judy Murphy was very racist, no room for improvement. It was a very bad school. I will recommend another school any day any time as matter off fact the school needs to refund money back to students that paid for tuition. All they care about is your money and not the students. It was a very traumatic experience. It was one of the worst decision i have ever made in life to attend that college. I Owe up to 100,000 in debt with no nursing degree to show for. I thank the Almighty God i got my degree from another school with no stress or frustration. Guys open your eyes and look for another school. I just finished my second-year in PharmD program in MCPHS. I’m gonna transfer to Worcester to study the accelerated program. I have had great time in MCPHS so far. All professors are very nice and friendly. I haven’t met any professor who’s not willing to help student wholeheartedly. They always have office hours to answer students’ inquiries and to clarify the lecture in case the students don’t understand. There are absolutely no discrimination in MCPHS. It’s all about respect. Every MCP student is very welcoming so we have a very close-knit community in MCP. The program is well-designed and bearable. Sometime I feel overwhelmed but it’s not impossible to pass as many people say. You just need to put time and effort and you’ll be fine. In short, MCPHS is a great university for those who seriously pursuit a professional career in pharmacy and health sciences.Bill Nguyen

Great academics (I was in Family and Child Studies so I could eventually do Early Childhood P-3, and I know the Musical Theater and Dance programs are amazing. Also the Visual Communication Design BFA) but I have complaints about dorm life. I was put in a dorm room with a smoker even though I have a chronic illness and explicitly put on the roommate application that I did NOT want to live with a smoker. She came in every night smelling of smoke and it was not… a good situation. Not much to do on campus either as far as activities (personally, as I'm not one for sports or many of the clubs they offered) I did appreciate that there was an ice skating rink so close to campus! But I went home every weekend. Disability Resource Center is AWESOME. If you need support or accommodations because of a disability or chronic illness I strongly suggest checking in with them!!!Laura Whitney

Now that my son is graduating I can write a review. The school administration, professors, and overall staff are unresponsive and ill informed. Takes weeks to get answers and then they are conflicting. Graduation ceremony multiple posts graduates need to be there for 11 no 12 no 11. Guests can arrive 60 minutes early. Guests stand In Parking lot 7 . No one there directing people to opposite side of building for entrance. Graduates just standing around in the parking lot again no direction. We went there for a sports clinic . Nice facility and staff. The campus seems well maintained and up dated. The training was professional. I’m not certain about the academics, as we were not there to take a class. The campus is a bit sprawling and it took a bit to figure out where we needed to go…all in all- the road signage is adequate. There is a Yogi Berra stadium which looked interesting.eric j

Afterwards, I worked for the FDA in New York City, the Chemical Abstracts Service in Columbus, OH, and, in 1968, joined the Papal Volunteers for Latin America. I underwent training at the Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C., and at the Catholic University of Puerto Rico in Ponce. In December, 1968, I arrived in Lima, Peru, where I was assigned to research enzymes in fish meal protein at the Catholic University of Peru. Shortly afterwards, I adopted a tiny baby girl, who is a graduate of the University of St. Thomas, in Houston, TX. I've also lived in Belize, became a technical translator and editor, and ran 2 corporate libraries in Houston. In 1989, I earned a TX teaching certificate in Composite Science, and , in 2001, an MEd in Science Curriculum and Instruction. These are just a few of my accomplishments, and I credit my fantastic education and dedicated faculty at the Elms for my successes. I transferred to Elms from HCC and was pleasantly surprised by my experience there. I loved that the campus was small and I loved that because of that, each student got more one on one help. The dining hall is beautiful and new, the library is comfortable and the people there are helpful, and the professors are all amazing at what they do. I attended the reunion this weekend as a husband. It was an overall pleasurable experience. The campus itself is very nice and meticulously maintained. Bathroom facilities adequate but nothing extraordinary. The BBQ on Saturday afternoon was nice because it was on campus in a very nice area. Music a bit loud for mid afternoon. Food, not great. I really liked the coozie they gave out. The class party Saturday night for the 10 year peeps was fascinating. It was inside a recreation center which seemed like an odd choice given the plethora of really nice areas on campus. The food selection there I thought was good but many in the group strongly disagreed with that sentiment. The tortellini was on point even tho it seemed to light a bit of a fire under my seat if you catch my drift. I was a little disappointed at all events that I had to pay 7$ for a bud light after already purchasing tickets. I will say we popped over to the 5 year reunion and wow, what a treat that event was. Overall it was a nice weekend, BC seemed to do my wife well as she is very smart. Her friends are also very cool. So I would recommend the college. We may send our kids there if my plan to hit the lottery multiple times comes to fruition. Mods for life.Joseph Moran

That said, this is the most beautiful campus I have ever seen in my life. It was a complete surprise and got me completely off guard. All of the buildings have the same gothic, sandstone color vibe. The first thing I will say about this school is that the student population is one of the rudest and meanest student populations in the country. Everyone I have met at this place is all about appearing cool and smart, and if you don't go to school here you are looked down upon. The dorms are absolutely terrible here and most buildings are made of concrete. Most state universities are the pride of the state but I don't think people view UMass that way. The school used to have friendly students and a low tuition/fees, now it is the exact opposite. When you go to Umass you are paying for a college experience, your not paying for a quality education. Public schools are a major part of the downfall of society, and this school is a perfect example of a school doing that. Every time I have been on this campus I am not acknowledged and if you don't conform to Umass standards you are an outsider. I understand education is important but the students/staff could at least show some respect to people outside their clique of Umass society. Umass has gotten better in some aspects but in many aspects it is still failing. It is not a open minded campus. I think most people who leave this school are so absorbed into a career mindset that they forget that life is about more than just a career and income. A major problem with universities especially UMass is people choose a very narrow path of education. People should be interested in many different fields of knowledge rather than what their major is. This is one of the largest university in New England and very good for computer science and related fields. pros: Good university with excellent infrastructure and ideal environment for student life. Most of the buildings are new and in good condition. I graduated from UNH Manchester in 2019 with a B.Sci. in Biotechnology, and I loved every second of it! UNHM is a phenomenal school, and much better for Biotech than the UNH Durham campus. Everyone here is super nice and always willing to help you with whatever you need. The in-house cafeteria is great, and there are an endless numbers of places to hang out and study or chat with friends. The building itself is an old mill building, but the refurbishments are practically brand new and make the campus both culturally authentic and technologically modern. The professors are great, and the small size of the campus means that you are more than just a number to your instructors. You really get to know each one of your professors personally, which is great because they're all good people. Honestly, the only downside is the shortage of parking from 9:00am – 3:00pm on Mon – Thurs. Few classes are held on Fridays, so it is a lot easier to find parking then. But if you get there before 9 each day, you really don't have to worry about finding a spot. Even if you can't find one, there is back-up parking next to the WMUR building and in the parking garage 1 block down. Overall, I give UNH Manchester a 5/5! I am so glad I chose this place for my undergrad, and I am thankful for the great experience! 🙂Alexander Williams

Let me start by saying the admissions and student services faculty assistant manager Kaitlynn were soo unhelpful. The student services including financial aid were sooo helpful. When admissions told me no, Student services said yes. They didn't try to go out of their way at all to help me at all being a new student. I applied in March, and admissions or Kaitlyn didn't do their job until a week before school started. They are only trying to set me up to fail, and believe me when I get in contact with the Dean I will be talking with him or her. I can't believe they are allowed to be employed, it was that bad. Even Deborah in admission rolled her eyes when I was trying to get enrolled. There is no student experience other than being difficult. When I was able to finally become a student and expressed I am in training for work all week, they weren't cooperative at all, and didn't try to work with me at all. I will be trying to find another school. If I can give this school 0 stars I would. Not happy with the school at all.Lauren Gillis

I'm going to own UNH and I think my old business law professor from NECC taught that Chemistry class I took there in 07-08 that I received a D in. Other students in the class had all the answers to the final but no one gave them to me and Constantweirdo called me during a class. Can you say lawsuits?Kristy Canello

My infant was seen in the emergency room for a surgical issue that fortunately ended up not being emergent. The ER staff were very friendly, but there was very little communication and long periods of time without hearing from any providers. The surgery resident who saw us was very dismissive and spoke in half truths to influence our decision making. I say this because I myself am a physician and have worked in this hospital system and knew when she was at times flat out lying about how we "would wait 5 days for surgery if we chose to get admitted." The attending surgeon didn't bother to come see us or examine our child, but said we could forgo the clinic visit and get directly booked for surgery. We left without any follow up information or instructions and without even the name of the surgeon. It took 10 days for his office to contact us to schedule surgery for a problem that most surgeons choose to fix within 2 weeks of the diagnosis. Meanwhile, our pediatrician got us a next day appointment at another very reputable academic hospital, and we were immediately scheduled for surgery within the week. We do not intend to return to BCH for care.Alex F

They were great at performing her surgery, I will say that!! The doctors were amazing!! It was the nurses and staff I had HUGE ISSUES WITH!! She was there for about a month. One time I had an appointment and I couldn't be at the hospital that day. Upon returning, I noticed my then 4 month old had not been moved out of her bed or picked up the whole time I was gone which was close to 12 hrs!!!! I took pictures of how I found her upon returning and still have them. I called the right authorities and it never happened again!! Make sure to advocate for your child, especially if theu don't have a voice and you see something wrong!!! Don't be afraid because it's a hospital! It was horrible for her to have to go through and this was in 2018!!! I would still recommend them for any serious surgeries for your children, but no so much for very young children. If I had to do it again I'm not sure I would go to the same place for her gastronomy tube surgery. Expect to basically spend thousands on hotels and parking. It's extremely expensive, but it was worth knowing they had done tons of g tube surgeries! May you and your child(ren) be okay!!DayByeDayChristine “Christine”

Boston Children's has been amazing, the staff are so kind and friendly, very knowledgeable of and informative of everything going on with their patient. They have tons of activities going on everyday to keep the kids busy and spirit's high. The nurses are always checking in with the parents making sure they are okay and if they need something they make sure it is taken care of. A graduate in BA with Honours in Education Studies with Computing class of 2020. My time here has been great, plenty of opportunities to make the most of your time as a student. I have been part of one of the SAP projects (This is where students work with staff on a project and gets paid for it) presented at two conferences during my time here. The education and computing lecturers are very supportive and have an open door policy if you get stuck on anything. For the Computing modules they assume no programming knowledge to begin with during the first year of your course. They teach you from scratch but you do need to work hard as this moves at a fast pace. But lecturers are around when you need them e.g. you get stuck, have questions ect. There are plenty of things to do within the university such as going to watch the Worcester Wolves Basketball or taking part in societies. There are plenty of resources for students to use such as accessing computers, journal articles or even getting help with referencing. The university also have the Firstpoint system that will signpost students to the right support should they need it e.g mental health, money advisers, disability services plus more. I have been given a conditional offer to do my MA in Education Studies part time providing I get a 2:2 or above which I am on track for a better classification. knowing that I will be at a good university for my postgraduate course after is great in this supportive and a nice community feeling to the place.Colin Vernon

Not interested in supporting or helping until I withdrew from my course . When I did ,I received very good communication and got the information I needed to make an informed decision , but alas it was too late I had requested to leave and will not be returning but joining another uni . I got passed around multiple departments , email tennis and endless phone calls to the multiple finance departments and first point services , no ownership or help was given so I could make decisions . Apparently this university does not like telling a student what support and finance can be available to them until they get into a mess or cross over the threshold where they pay 25% of the yearly tuition fees as and I quote from my course leader “ we the university do not like advertising grants and support “ which basically means they do not want to help you unless you beg or alternatively withdraw . I could have moved courses which certainly would have helped me nobody gave me support in this and they dragged their feet hoping I’d just carry on and find a way. Again I got support once I’d left at which course I could do to get out of the situation I was in.Hunnybunnie

It's been good and bad. The teaching staff have been great however lots of the policy of the university let's this high standard of teaching down. I have no issue for paying for quality education and had no issues untill asking for support when covid started. I've had some bad experiences since covid. I recognised I'd be unable to learn as well remotely so rather than defer I requested being reimbursed for the full cost of the program minus the post grad certificate I'd already achieved. I was informed it was against policy and told that the standard of teaching would be exactly the same. I challenged this and received no confirmation of how they came to this conclusion. Worcester is a great city the campus centrally located and a short distance from anywhere in the city centre. Overall decent level of teaching but the unis interests in making money and their policy pulls thebscore right down.judo lea

Got my Master in Public Administration from Wagner Graduate School of Public Affairs in 1985. Not an ounce of financial aid – It was my one-hundred percent self-paid onus. Even with full-time work for the duration of full-time study, it was easier than where my Bachelor of Arts was from: Binghamton. Long story short, the Public and nonprofits sector didn't want me; but, made some successes in the Corporate world in Banking, Insurance, followed by Investment Brokerage. My point ? I came to minuteman as a junior, and I can assure you that this school is unbelievably easy. I have gotten straight A's in all my honors classes. Now, I am a senior and I am in two duel enrollment classes, which tend to cause an educational purpose to the school. The school provides no college support, causing the students to fend for themselves. If you are looking to proceed a job in a trade, This school will help you attain knowledge to help you start off that career. A ton of kids do drugs in and out of school, the discipline tends to lack tremendously. You will be bound to make friends easily, at least that is through my perception of the social aspect of the school.A horan

The SPED director, Amy Perreault, is completely incompetent. My son has an intellectual disability. He hugged a girl he liked who sat next to him class. They suspended him for 3 days. I asked them to change his classes, but they placed him next to the same girl again. Then, they wanted to suspend him for a week. He has an intellectual disability. He doesn't understand his feelings and what he is doing. The SPED director put him into a situation to fail and then punished him again. If you have a special needs child, be careful. When my son first applied, the school seemed great but it is a different story once you are there.Diana O'Neil

Believe it or not, this school serves food––providing gourmet quality at an attractive price. It also gives future chefs a great learning experience. This is the future of education in America! Regarding the food itself: don't expect a Michelin star, but the $1 desserts are devilish!!!Zach Kiefer
