We were working on our project (Our Green Hope) today where we used 3000 reusable bags to make the largest mosaic. The worker at the campus were friendly and supportive. After finishing the project, all the 3K bags were given for FREE at Kroger to encourage people to start using reusable bags instead of plastic grocery bags. If i could legit give ZERO STARS, I would. This is NOT… I repeat NOT a good school. If you are design/business major the staff do NOT work with you and the accommodations are a joke. You have to re-do them all again next semester. Secondly… the RA's #do not do their job. We had a huge issue in our dorm building and restrictions had been in place for the people who were causing the issues not to come back into the building. The RA's allowed them back into the building, saying they were… "Safe" to be in the building. The building muse is even WORSE. the staff there don't take care of all the fights and drug use that happens there. Two of my friends were sexually assaulted in that building and left Radford because of it. I can't speak for other dormatories, but Muse and Trinkle are NO GO'S. People are very rude and try to start drama with you and also… if you do come to this school, please PLEASE lock your bedroom doors…. people like to steal! Also the graduate teachers are the WORST. I've had a few, all if whom didn't like their students. They're mucj younger teachers, fyi. I only have one grad student professor who is a decent human being. Also people here are really racist. There's so much racism and fights here, it's insane. It's better to pick another school if possible, Especially when it comes to safety. The staff do NOT care about your safetyM B

Radford University is a great place to go to college for someone that is looking for a great education, great facilities, an exciting campus life, and a friendly and united community. As an international student I've had a great experience in my two years that I've been studying at Radford. The faculty is great, well knowledgeable in their subjects, and are always willing to help you, the student life on and off campus is fun, the smaller class sizes enable you to learn better and enable you to get to know your professors, the campus is beautiful, the facilities are mostly modern and well equipped. The university is constantly investing and working in improving the quality of education, the competitiveness of the school, and resources that we have, and it is clearly getting better every time. This school is truly a fraud! They are claiming to support the military and Join the Yellow Ribbon Program to get the recognition but the actual support is not even pennies against this multi-million dollar school. This program was built to assist in financially supporting Military and Family Members to attend schools out-of-state and abroad at a rate comparable, if not equal, to in-state students and help overcome the hardships of military families constantly moving in support of our nations freedom. It is a joke they are calling themselves Yellow Ribbon Program members; offering a measly $1000 against a $25,000 annual out-of-state tuition difference. Then to offer it to only 2 undergraduates and 2 graduates in a school of over 10,000!!….Really? I can get a better military discount at Waffle House! They are making a mockery of a Program that is TRULY built to SUPPORT our troops!!!John Chisolm

Annoying town to live in. Southern hospitality doesnt exist in Boone. Its full of stuck up hippies. Counting down the days till I transfer to Colorado. If you're transferring here, good luck. My girlfriend has been petitioning classes that they haven't counted since she first got here. They're screwing her out of 27 credit hours that she finished at her old school. Math department is atrocious. I'm in college algebra now and the teacher lost my first test because she took priority in grading a 2 page paper on success before she graded the test. Also, if you're coming here to watch football, the atmosphere sucks. More than half of the crowd is out of the stadium before halftime. Hardly anyone actually cares about the team, they just use it as an excuse to tailgate and get trashed in a public parking lot.Chris King

Was a very good experience. Best was the faculty, who are from all over the country and internationally as well. I attended another college for a second degree after ASU and had a bad experience which really highlighted how superior ASU's instruction and advice really was. They do not waste your time. If there was a downside, it was probably the fact that many of the students are from western North Carolina, so some of the perspectives were a bit of a culture shock for me. They have several excellent programs, particularly business, music, education, art, as well as some unusual programs like communications disorders.JW41926

Attending this school has been the worst experience that I have EVER had! From advisor who do not know what they are doing to transcript office personal that have very bad attitudes and are extremely rude. They also "conveniently" forget to post important dates that student need to know. After finally graduating from this school a year late, I will NEVER encourage anyone to attend this school. But, I would encourage everyone who currently attends this school to get out while they are ahead! Very proud Spartan here. I left my home in NYC to attend NSU back in 1988 at the age of 18. However, I really grew up while attending college. I loved my courses (some harder than others). I loved my professors (some more than others). I loved the beautiful campus, the extra curricular activities (especially the parties) and I loved the friendships I made. The fact this is an HBCU… Well, that is best of all. There is nothing like being nurtured by your own culture. It is a priceless gift. You take it into the world with full understanding that you not only have something to contribute, but it has value no one can take from you. Some student decided to order doordash from Virginia Beach Which was 18 minutes out of my way and then they couldn't even tip. all I got was the base pay from doordash I couldn't even buy a cup of coffee with that. If people are going to order food and have it delivered to them they need to learn how to tip Or you better get something that's close by because you don't order from another city and then you can't even tip. The good thing and what I *really* desire the most about the "Green" and "Gold," is that visitation, even when you are not invited the University allows you to break free and be yourself. Because of this, makes me ought not to approach with such criticism when it is just basic conversation. I recently was enrolled in the graduate cohort for reading and writing. I have been teaching for almost 10 years and found most of the classes insulting. I felt I knew more than the cohort professors and learned very little new. Many of the text books were from early 2000. Considering the vast changes in LA recently, I felt many classes provided information that was not up to curent reading philosphies and/or research. The rubrics were so convoluted that the professors couldn't figure them out or they did not pertain to the topic. Many classes were spent going back and forth over the rubrics only to have them change again. Knowing what I do now, I would not waste the money, but would have done an on-line course for 1/3 the price.K Palmer

As a current junior undergraduate at the University of Saint Joseph in West Hartford, CT, I am very happy here. I came to USJ as a shy, timid girl without the confidence to speak up in class. I am now a confident woman that isn't afraid to voice my opinion or share my insights. Great school for engineering and decent for nursing. Business school will depend on your work and the professors you choose(from 1-4 ⭐️). The support sucks. Try calling financial aid or student accounts and you know how living in purgatory feels like. One hour of waiting on the line is typical and if you wanna use the outdated mymav website to get help without calling them, good luck 😉 The number in the picture below belongs to student accounts department who will drop you from all your classes when u owe money so you need speed dealing with them. I suggest you’ll go there physically even if you’re infected with Covid19 as you have a better chance of reaching them in person. And the pictures following the call are from when i went to student accounts in person and the line for service goes into a second building. If I could give this university a zero star, I would do it. As an international student, I have millions of terrible experiences with this university. The graduate school and the international students office have been really really rude. They will try to frustrate you using any way they could. Also, the insurance requirement for international students have been so unfair. They will charge you lots lots of money for the insurance for the summer time even though you are not enrolled in any classes during the summer. Also, the staff working in the graduate school have been so rude and know very little. Some of the graduate and undergraduate classes have been so meaningless and do not worth the money.yaqing cao

Atm a lot of construction is going around the university. Either adding new school building, dinning areas, or apartments around the school. The gym is great, great gym equipment, indoor track, and classes that you can sign up for if you do not like working out alone. Building are easy to locate but if you have trouble finding them people will be nice to direct to the correct locations. I applied to one of their online Master’s program and got accepted for the 2022 Fall term. Filled out everything, paid the app fee, paid for all of my official transcripts (this would have been my 4th degree), got to the advising appointment only to be told that all of my questions I needed to “look into on my own”….. I work in higher education and these are thing the advisor should have been able to answer. Then she tells me the code to look at classes after the appointment, which was odd, only to find out the two classes I was going to register for were full and she wasn’t even looking at them at the time of the appointment. This is not how advising is supposed to work. Since I have an existing Master’s I wanted to see if any of my credits could transfer in with a maximum of 6 credit hours. If classes wouldn’t transfer due to program alignment, that would have been fine. However, the reasoning was “ Since you did earn the degree with those courses, he doesn't feel that we can also use them to complete the MA degree.” I’m sorry, what??? I went to the campus that is located in Beaverton and they are a building off site of the campus but have a Transit center right directly across from the campus making it very convenient for anyone that would like to take that versus driving and paying parking however the parking was free for me that day the campus grounds are very clean and I felt safe by the security and overall feel. there was not a lot of people at all as they are being very very careful with restrictions on covid. I attended a class for testing on the GED and they were very careful to not expose or compromise anyone's health so be prepared and warned now to be current on their covid restrictions and policiesHeather Chick Hawes

It was such a beautiful day I had gone to Sheridan's Market. Which, I have to say, is one of the best places I've found in Portland since moving here 8 years ago. I decided to go and sit under the trees in the Park blocks. I read the first chapter of "The Body Keeps the Score" with the work book. If you know someone or you yourself suffer from PTSD. It is an amazing read and helps so much. Dogs were roaming though the park with their owners. Runners everywhere. Just overall an amazing day.Bradley Renfeldt-King

The instructors are variable, with limited on-campus opportunities compares to places like OSU/UO/WSU/UW. Baylor is an amazing school. For a few reviews before me we are not all "rich kids wanting to blow daddy's money" or "rude". I personally have a bad background that would not match the first statement. I am not rich. I am blessed to be in this university thanks to scholarships and my hard working mother. Baylor itself is a blessing. Its a rigorous school BUT very well worth it. I love being part of the Baylor community. Its a beautiful campus filled with loving people. Its not "perfect" because nothing is. There will be a few issues like yes there are some kids who don't care and my be rude or blow things off but really if you are a part of it you will see the majority of the campus and the people here are more than amazing and loving. This is a fantastic university for the liberal arts. I have talked to people from other universities and to those that have come to visit me at college, and all of them see a difference in the student body. There is just a different atmosphere. All the people are kind and welcoming and always willing to help in times of need. The professors are nationally ranked and are not only outstanding in their fields of study, but wonderful people as well. Even if you're not looking to go to college, its a beautiful campus to just walk around in. It's almost like a park in some ways. Just give it a visit and I promise you'll be hooked! I loved my time as I attended Baylor for undergrad, and grad school (2008-2015). The campus has changed so much since i first step foot in 2008 (all for the better). Baylor (and Waco) is in a resurgence/growth period. Its an awesome time for Baylor and Waco. I loved my time there even though I'm not religious (agnostic/theist). Great people (students and especially faculty), and community. There was a reason why I came back to get my masters at Baylor. They helped me get through some rough times, and i am better for it now. I graduated in Food Science at Colorado State in 2011. The education in the classroom and in life that I received while I attended university was life changing. I met some of the best people I have had in my life and I pursued my love for nutrition and food science while I was there. My degree opened up many doors for me in my career in the brewing industry and at the time the undergrad brewing course was one of the only ones in the country. I am so glad I attended CSU and I can say without a doubt my life and career would not be the same had I not gone here. My daughter and I visited the campus as it currently ranks number 3 for Veterinary Medicine. The staff was genuine, sincere and gracious. They setup one on one meetings to make the visit extremely personal. They appeared to have the students best interest at heart and even supplied a full day parking pass. The facilities appeared updated and state of the art. They were heads and shoulders above our visit at Texas aTm. The only prevention of a five star rating was partially our fault as we were unable to get a tour of the school of medicine.Andy Benavidez

I have studied in here as an international student for one year, but now I transfer to another college. The main reason is the reputation of the CSU college of business. The employment rate of international students after they graduation is so low, and I rarely find one get even an internship. Although there are lots of nice people live here, you get almost nothing to do in this dull town besides hiking or playing with your dogs.王信

The education I'm receiving at Syracuse University is second to none the professors are great and most of the friends I've made here are Syracuse University students friends that I will probably run into later in life the friends you make here are Syracuse University students from around the world, and some here in your own hometown, friends that you will make for life the professors are great they give you the tools you need for success in today's economy and in life and your own personal success. My son is a recent Syracuse grad. From his first campus visit he felt a connection to this place. From his first day as a freshman through his last day at graduation, this school has given him great classes, amazing professors, lifelong friendships, travels to London, two final fours in four years. sleeping out in the cold for ten days before the sold out Duke game and many epic memories in the Carrier Dome. Syracuse University has so much to offer that smaller schools just don't. The campus is really nice and very well maintained. The finacial aid is great. The staff really helped him prepare for life after graduation as he had several job opportunities. My son loved Syracuse so much he decided to stay after getting a job right away. Extremely racist school. I attended here for 3 years (2009-2012). It was a legacy of my family to attend and graduate from here and I regret it. Not only did I not graduate, I felt unwelcomed as a Native student. I even participated in Native student organizations and spent a lot of time at the cultural center because that was the only place I felt comfortable and accepted. South Dakota is just a racist state all around. I regret listening to my parents. I should have went to the school I was also accepted and had really wanted to go to. These white ppl can keep their precious athletics department! Even the frat parties were racist and sucked! The varying architecture of all the buildings on campus was nice though. Went for one year and never went back. The general required classes are similar at other places, but other places actually care about you. I went to another college before this one, and USD refused to allow me to transfer the credits because they were from out of state. The admissions were nice, but whoever decides what credits transfer couldn't care less about you if you come from out of state. Their biology department needs major help, because they had to change teachers often and even hired one who couldn't speak English. As a 4th year student who will be graduating in Spring 2018, I will be terribly sad to be forced to leave such a terrific school. UGA has provided me with all the opportunities I could ever want. I was looking for a college that would have all the resources I would need in order to go to Optometry School and UGA has exceeded my expectations. The classes here have truly prepared me well for the next 4 years of my life. I am grateful to have gone to such an amazing school. If you’re looking to go into the healthcare field and want to be best prepared for graduate school, UGA is the right way to go. Also, the campus is large and beautiful! After UGA, I will be attending the University of Alabama at Birmingham College of Optometry. So luckily, I won’t be too far from UGA. UPDATE: I was told that career services had been developed since 2014 so I began my masters here… they only changed the name of the website. They did get a new president which I have no earthly idea what he has done because this is the biggest waste of money. You still get the same answer in career services or any department there, “go check online.” It is sad for the great professors here that all the current student reviews mentioned. They deserve better and so do alumni. Past post (2014) The reason I gave it two stars is strictly because of the good professors there. As alumni I will even admit, this school has absolutely nothing else going for it. They have untrained teenage kids handling all your paperwork with HORRIFIC customer service. The most common phrase you hear when you interrupt their cellphone time by asking them a question is, it's online. The career services department is very underdeveloped, do not expect assistance finding a career after graduation. The most you will get is help developing a Tarleton version of linkedin. Honestly, the school is seemingly unorganized and I feel like the dining hall faculty are more friendly to the students rather than faculty who work in the administration parts of the school itself. Parts such as Advising services, housing, or Financial aid for example. (Although not all faculty of course but it seems to be more rude staff than you'd think). Some students have a problem with parking, resulting in parking in no parking zones. The website wasn't helpful to me at all when I was registering. They make you watch videos instead of putting steps on the same page. Rates for housing is pretty ridiculous especially since the meal plan is separate. In my opinion I feel that if the housing rates is going to be 3,000+ they should at least give you the meal plan instead of having to pay a extra 2,000 for that. I don't feel like the school or administration or whatever you want to call it are trying to be very helpful of anything so I don't really feel very secure I should say.BRangerBot

I am considered a distance learner here at the satellite campus in Waco Tx… I completed my bachelor's in criminal justice August 2011 I enjoyed the curriculum so much & my instructors that I have returned to complete my master's degree here, set to graduate December 2017 (graduated May 2018 with Masters of Criminal Justice)… for those students who say they did not or have not had a pleasant experience I do not possibly understand why, the staff is always helpful & if not ask for a supervisor….education at a university level is not handed to you it is a must that one grasp a understanding of their learning environment & set realistic goals! Beautiful campus off a not-so scenic main thoroughfare (Baltimore Avenue). I attended for one short semester and it was nice to return and see all the progress and development that has occurred over the years. Numerous new buildings including campus dining and resident halls. The campus tour we attended for my child was long, and they still have covid protocols required for visitors, which is a bit bizarre, but not entirely surprising, since the State of Maryland always thinks it's on the cutting edge of progress. Also surprised how dead it was on homecoming weekend, and the students we did see wandering on campus do not wear their Maryland colors. A bit disappointing.Avalus

From my experience till now UMD is an amazing college with an even amazing staff and infrastructure. Orientation for students are very important and UMD makes sure they have proper ones. The college is really big and is like another city in itself with everything possible available. It will take time for you to know your way around. Classes are equipped with the latest tech. Lecturers know their subject and are very approachable. These few words wouldn't justify everything about the college. Make sure you do your own research. Really nice room. All the lights had mood settings and automation. The scenery was very modern and clean. The bathroom was nice and it had some amazing views very comfortable hotel would definitely visit again. My only recommendation would be maybe having some kind of microwave or something available in the room. Atfter 3 years… Word to the wise, more often than not, you never crack open that 100, 200 something dollar book. A quarter of the professors are great people and go above and beyond and are the positives of the university. Another quarter are there and go through the motions, pretty average and that's fine. The rest are communicationally and emotionally compromised and feel the need to be dictators of their classrooms and go on emotional rants unrelated to material, are professors that have checked out because retirement is around the corner, or are teaching assistants in their early 20s and have no idea what they're doing and rush through so they can get THEIR work done. Parking is a mad house the first half of the semester. I've spent an hour trying to find parking and gave up, I've been threatened and screamed at, dealt with aggression and almost hit by cars. It's not like I felt safe on campus anyways or in Springfield for that matter. I myself have had a horrible experience at MSU, but I won't let that account for the school as a whole. If you are considering entering the Computer Information Systems program, you should really consider another school. The instructors in the program are currently abysmal. They are working hard to improve the program, but for now you will learn at a pace and challenge level much less than you would even get at OTC. The College of Business in general felt like a degree mill, in my opinion. As for the rest of the campus, it really is great in every way. You can do almost anything you need right on campus easily. The Foster Recreation center has an awesome pool and great selection of workout equipment. The library is also top-notch and has a great selection. I have a feeling that if you're pursuing an education in non-technical subjects, this would be a great school for the money. If that's not the case though, I highly recommend you seek a better business school elsewhere. Springfield has a hard time retaining talent, and you'll find little of it in the more technical departments at MSU.scott knox

BUYER BEWARE: You'll be fine at MSU as long as you don't complain about any lack of teaching pedagogy in your classes. As a student I have had a Jekyll and Hyde type of experience here; some professors include direct instruction (in a number of modalities) others do not. I was told verbatim by a professor; "I'll do what I want and no one can tell me differently". Another professor, on three separate exams, gave no feedback and in a class of 16 students had four A's with the rest, B, C, D, F, range and didn't change his "Educating" the entire semester. One other professor who had given out continual C's and B's – said he didn't need to teach for "Mastery" of the topic – he only needed to give "Students a shot"… Keep in mind professors are experts in an area and not teachers – that is do not have the training and education to teach, to reach students. Further, in classes I have never seen an administrator come and evaluate the level of "Teaching" being done.ME W

Let's be honest. This was your second choice. It's not the "best college in the world" or the "most beautiful campus in the world". Spent one and a half years here where it could’ve been one and a half years spent better elsewhere. Please, this is an extension of high school. Find your education and college experience elsewhere. I live near this college and me and my wife and kids love to take walks threw it. It's so beautiful and peaceful. Also you have campus police always around so you feel safe at all times. And the bell tower is a nice sight to see. But hearing that thing go off at 11:00pm at night I could go without.Shawn Dronet

Schools are responsible for providing an education and preparing us for life afterwards. This school fails miserably at both. Graduation rates are horrendous, this is mostly due to the fact that I had classmates with 700 SAT scores and 1.9 GPA's. At first thought, I believed Limestone was the good Samaritan that gave these people a chance at a good education. Much to my dismay, this is not the case. They do not expect these students to graduate, but they fill their classes and get their money before they kick them out the door with nothing but possibly $70,000 in debt (after 2 years) These same students slowed classes down, so in order to cover all the material we had to go to class as part of the highschool attendance policy, then spend another hour covering what the professor was unable to get to during class because of these students. At a huge $35,000/year I could name 20 schools quickly that would give a better education and save you $5-15,000/year minimum. Education aside, athletics are in fantastic standing as most athletes are international players and are quite good. If you have a full scholarship for athletics, I could even suggest working extra hard and making a run to play professional sports. But DO NOT expect to leave fully prepared for the real worldKyle Miller

I am a working Registered Nurse with 3 kids. I was offered a free tuition for the RN to BSN online program so that the new program could earn its accreditation. I had been wanting to get my BSN for years but never could afford it. Unfortunately, shortly after I started the program, COVID hit and I was homeschooling 3 kids and working full time. I couldn't continue with the BSN program. I notified the head of the program and was told it was fine. The following year, to my surprise, all of my state tax refunds were taken by Limestone University!!!! When I called to find out about the issue, I was told that they would continue to take my tax refund until $7000 plus was payed back for the "free" program that I signed up for and did not complete due to unforeseen circumstances. No one ever thought that the whole country would be in lockdown because of a pandemic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Thank you Limestone University for helping Nurses further their education. Thank you for being understanding of working mothers during a pandemic (note the sarcasm!) This University only cares about the $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ There is nothing "Christian" about this!!!!!!!Donna Hassen

As a current student of Limestone College, At first with every new school, you are filled with excitement and nervousness. My first semester here transfering from a technical school I was very excited for this new chapter of my life but as time passed I quickly yearned for the end of the semester. 1 – Almost all of the residence halls have serisous design flaws or deterioration. 2 – There is almost nothing to do for non student athletes. 3 – The entire school feels like one giant high school cliche. Especially at the dining hall. 4 – The tutoring situation here is atrocious. The school partners with a third party tutoring service that provides tutors but when upon looking for one, one can never find one for their subject. I want to like this school. But it needs to address a ton of issues before it can shine.zachary butler
