I'm a vet and am finishing up my first semester at Liberty. So far I have had nothing but good experiences. I was nervous about going back to school after being in service for years, but the transition has been fairly easy with all of the help lve received.My instructors are very personable and go out of their way to help me with any problems I may run into. Professors are very professional and, unlike many schools, encourage students to form their own opinions. I have never felt as though any political agendas or doctrines were being forced upon me. Non Christians are treated equally well as everyone else, and are even welcomed to challenge or question anything they may disagree with. Divinity professors are more than willing to listen to other opinions and will clearly explain anything a non believer might want to know about Christianity. The campus itself is beautiful and full of fun things to do besides schoolwork. I am actually learning, rather than simply connecting dots to get a degree and that is exactly what I hoped for. Since I've gone to the school I've got to see politicians such as Nigel Farage and Donald Trump Jr., musicians like Jeremy Camp, sports stars like Brett Favre, world class entrepreneurs, and experts such as economists who advised the president. I cannot recommend this school enough.Christian Mabe

I’ve got one year to go to graduate from this place😭 Being a student at this university has been quite a wonderful experience. To be honest I think it’s one of the it’s not the most state of the art schools in the world. It’s impossible to get bored here. I will say though one thing about this place is that if you come here on fire for Jesus then you’ll find people on fire for Jesus but if you come here to party then you’ll find the party people so make of it what you want. Yes there’s been some drama here in the past few years but there’s drama everywhere and Liberty has been able to manage it pretty well I’d say. I absolutely love every single professor that I’ve had here, they’ve gone above and beyond to help make sure that I get an education of quality. Set up a campus tour. It was 3 hours which entailed visiting the dorms and dining areas. To include the fitness and recreation center. As well the Jerry Falwell Library and Vines Center. We walked the campus for a few hours and then we rode the bus for the remainder of the tour. Everyone was friendly. The student tour guides did an excellent job. The campus was huge. It was well maintained. They have three dorm options. One to include apartments that house seven people. Freshmen are able to bring vehicles on campus. Wide selection of dining options. Chick Fil A, Dunkin Donuts and many others. Dining options in same building as library.LaTrenda

Okay school but professors suck! Good learning platform with Blackboard (easy to use & navigate). Professors are very picky & strict with grading. They act like they are from Harvard. Faculty is not professional & highly rude. They don't care about you learning or helping you succeed. Rather expect you to fail. Lots of errors & typos on quizzes. No live or recorded lectures. Didn't learn much. Spend the extra money & attend brick & mortar or better online school to get a job.Oliver

I highly recommend Hodges University! I enrolled in the fast track BS degree with 10 classes left to finish in Interdisciplinary Studies. I graduated 18 months later! All of my teachers were phenomenal and my counselor reached out to me at the beginning of each semester to enroll me in the correct classes to finish my degree program as quickly as possible. Having attended other universities, I found this one to be the most committed in helping me complete my degree program!Ann AL

I have been at Hodges for two years now. Every time I hear about another school, I always compare my experience to Hodges. This has led me to believe that there are no other schools that I would be as happy with. The professors I have had actually WANT me to succeed and will do what they can to help us as students to develop and learn. Baylor is an amazing school. For a few reviews before me we are not all "rich kids wanting to blow daddy's money" or "rude". I personally have a bad background that would not match the first statement. I am not rich. I am blessed to be in this university thanks to scholarships and my hard working mother. Baylor itself is a blessing. Its a rigorous school BUT very well worth it. I love being part of the Baylor community. Its a beautiful campus filled with loving people. Its not "perfect" because nothing is. There will be a few issues like yes there are some kids who don't care and my be rude or blow things off but really if you are a part of it you will see the majority of the campus and the people here are more than amazing and loving. This is a fantastic university for the liberal arts. I have talked to people from other universities and to those that have come to visit me at college, and all of them see a difference in the student body. There is just a different atmosphere. All the people are kind and welcoming and always willing to help in times of need. The professors are nationally ranked and are not only outstanding in their fields of study, but wonderful people as well. Even if you're not looking to go to college, its a beautiful campus to just walk around in. It's almost like a park in some ways. Just give it a visit and I promise you'll be hooked! I loved my time as I attended Baylor for undergrad, and grad school (2008-2015). The campus has changed so much since i first step foot in 2008 (all for the better). Baylor (and Waco) is in a resurgence/growth period. Its an awesome time for Baylor and Waco. I loved my time there even though I'm not religious (agnostic/theist). Great people (students and especially faculty), and community. There was a reason why I came back to get my masters at Baylor. They helped me get through some rough times, and i am better for it now. I never had a chance to visit barry university before enrolling and I wound up not liking the area. The area outside of it is very ghetto and the dorms are smaller than what is shown on the layout online. I didn't feel safe in the general area so I withdrew from the university during the grace period where I should've gotten a 100% refund on classes and an 80% refund on housing. It's been almost two months since I signed and dated the form where I only agreed on paying 20% for housing and 0% for classes. I had not gone to any classes and now I am moved out and enrolled in a different college. I am still being given hell on this process where they were only responsible for calculating the 20% on housing that I owed and signing a withdrawal form. It's taken them two months to do these simple tasks that should've been made a priority and I was told it would be. I am now being billed for $7,050 for classes. For what classes? I hadn't gone to any and withdrew during the grace period. I have copies of my withdrawal form stating what I signed for and printed copies of the official website stating the corresponding dates and percentages for refunds and billing. They are now either going to resolve this issue right away or I will be in the process of sueing the university. This is ridiculous. The only person I can say actually had done their job was my academic advisor who also agreed that this process has been a ridiculous money scam.Miranda Moran

What can I say: I love Barry. Even though I live way up here in Jax, I commuted down there for classes once a month. It was worth it to me. I’m in the PhD nursing program and I can say it really changed my life. Dr. Jessie Colin, who is also my chair, is the most intelligent and remarkable person I have ever met. The 5 stars is for her and how she is running the doctoral program. Thank you Dr. Colin! The rest of the nursing faculty are also wonderful. Lovely women (too many to name). I’m so glad I made the decision to come to this school. I’ve learned so much that this post would be too long to describe it all! It’s an intellectually challenging program, so be ready to learn. This school in general really focuses on social justice. If you are not open minded to multi-culturalism and discovering new ways of thinking outside of the norm, this may not be the school for you. I tell people this because I know how the culture is in America today (ignorance is bliss). You have to accept to live the ‘Barry Life’, which is being open to culture and seeking justice for those whose voices might go unheard. Like some say on other reviews, yes, the area in which the school is in is kinda sketchy. And be prepared, the student parking is awful. The biggest parking lot is a couple blocks away and you have to take a shuttle to get to the campus. It’s a small campus but quite beautiful.904 CZV

Barry University is the worst. I was enrolled for one semester in 2013. The way the school system is set up is terrible. NO ONE is on the same page, rarely will credits transfer, teachers do not truly care or seemed interested in making personal relationships (mind you this is a PRIVATE college), and lastly…getting your transcripts sent to other colleges is the HARDEST. They go through different programs like "Transcripts on Demand" so there's no help from Barry because they don't even know whats going on in the transcript process. They just buy some company to come handle all of their students and transcripts for them. My transcripts are now late being sent to two different colleges and its been over a month since I sent my consent form (since when do you need a consent form to sent transcripts…usually you pay a fee and that's that). Unfortunately we didn't get the chance to go to our firts session with a therapist. I called for the first time to their office and spoke to Yalily and she setup an appointment for us for the following month, told me to fill out some forms that she sent me to my email. She also said they were going to send me a text message a few days before the appointment to let me know the address of the office and all of my insurance info regarding payments but sadly that never happened. I never received a call or a text from them, I even called them the day before our appointment to ask if everything was still good for the appointment but nobody answer the phone or responded to the voicemail I left. Very disappointing. Until today May 2nd no body has contacted me to give me a reason why they never responded to my calls or voicemail. That says a lot from a place!!!Viviana Reisfeld

We love seeing Ms Nank at the Traveling therapist.. she is loving, caring, listens to all of our concerns and really cares about her patients.. my son loves seeing her and feels safe and comfortable talking to her. I've been seeing Total Health Guidance for a few months now and I am so grateful. Other therapy that I've had basically just let me talk for an hour every week (which is helpful) but I often needed more practical steps. Total Health Guidance gives you a game plan and walks you through it based on the things you're dealing with. I have been seeing Rick for about 2 months now and have nothing but good things to say. In our first session about 20 minutes in, he revealed something to me that has changed my life. He also encouraged me to go home and research several topics we discussed in session which turned out to be extremely helpful as well. We continue to make progress each week and Rick really cares about me as a person. I wasn't sure what to expect as I had seen another counselor months before that did not help and made things worse but I am so glad I reached out to Rick for help. His patient portal is also very helpful and convenient as well. It not only contains details about past and upcoming appointments but also self help documents and audio than can be used for research outside of session. There is also a between session worksheet you can fill out that let's Rick know how you felt about the last session and what needs to be discussed in the next. The other counselor I had seen had none of this and after session was done it was done. No other help provided. This portal allows you to keep a journal which you can share with Rick if you choose. These tools are all very useful for keeping Rick updated with what's going on in your life. He also offers remote sessions over Skype or phone which I will be using when I move back to NC.Jason Ritchie

While I would highly suggest some of the people at Samaritan, if you are going to see a nurse practitioner, don't bother. My sister, who has severe social anxiety and may suffer from bipolar disorder saw Cynthia, a nurse practitioner, who did nothing but interrogate my sister and yell at her. My mother took over at that point and Cynthia had the nerve to laugh at my mother when my mother asked her if she was a Christian. This is supposed to be a Christian organization? My sister admitted to Cynthia that she had gone off of her meds. Cynthia demanded to know when my sister had stopped taken her medications and my sister honestly did not remember (which anyone who has taken a Psych 101 course would know that people who are bipolar are prone to going off their medication on and off). Cynthia then accused her of lying and basically told my sister that she should try harder to become a productive member of society. There are more details, but I am reserving those for the formal complaint I am sending in an attempt to have her license to practice revoked. Thankfully my sister was not suicidal as it could have gone very differently. This woman is a danger. Do not let her interact with your loved ones if you care about their wellbeing. The only reason I am giving 2 stars, instead of one, is because Joelle was a great therapist. The problem we had was with Cindy, a np. If I was not there to witness what my daughter went through I would not have believed it. My daughter is having severe depression and anxiety. Cindy was very rude to her. She felt like she was being interrogated by Cindy. She is not a sympathetic person and needs to go back to school to learn how to deal with her patients. My daughter was so upset she left her computer, they weren't meeting in person, and went into her bedroom. I then started talking to Cindy. I am a very patient person. Well Cindy was so rude to me that I did lose my patience. I called the office to let them know what happened. My daughter was worse after the appointment with her. Yes, she did stop taking her meds. A lot of people with issues do. Cindy was mad at her for not calling her and telling her. If Cindy was a kinder person she would have. Sounds like Dr. Sue is good. Wish we had her. Sorry Joelle, that this did not work out. My daughter has insurance and will be going elsewhere.Andrea Muench

I recently moved to Cape Coral, FL for nursing school and part of the entrance requirements were to get a physical, TB Test and vaccinations. I visited CVS Minute Clinic because I knew I could walk in without an appointment and their pricing was reasonable without medical insurance. During the appointment, we noticed that my blood pressure was a little high. Mary, the Nurse Practitioner, recommended Samaritan Health & Wellness, as a primary provider, because they offered affordable pricing for those without medical coverage. I made an appointment with Cindy Marshall, a family nurse practitioner, at Samaritan Health & Wellness. During my visit, she was down to earth and had a great sense of humor. I could easily tell she loves what she does! It shows in her patient care and demeanor. She also sent my prescription to Publix, where she knew it would be free!! She went above and beyond for me and I know she will do the same for others. I highly recommend Samaritan Health & Wellness to anyone currently without medical insurance in the Cape Coral/Fort Myers, FL area.Lance Garrison

I rejoined this gym in hopes that the money used to rebuild it after the fire was put to good use. It was not, there is less equipment than before located upstairs while downstairs is a bunch of "classes." So if you want to work out you need to work out around people… The gym showers are not heated. The fees are even higher, after accepting donations, which baffles me. The key tags used to get into the locker room are hit or miss, often times not registering that you are holding it to the sensor. There are a lot of better gyms than this. I cannot think of one in Naples that is worse. Oh and if you cancel, even with time remaining on your "month" they will bill you for an additional 30 days whether you use it or not. $75 intro fee and $50 a month. RUN AWAY.Dante Guida

I was trying to get swimming lessons at the ymca and the first day I got there the instructor did not even know what was happening even though I payed and scheduled the whole thing. Then I had to cancel two appointments because I had the flu and yes it’s inconvenient but it happens and she threatened to charge me for canceling when she never said that initially and wasn’t even prepared in the first place. Now after I made appointments for the upcoming week and she confirmed them she just goes on vacation without letting Me know and I get there and she is no where to be seen. After checking out gyms in the area someone told me to check out the Y and I was pleasantly surprised. It's CLEAN full of LIGHT and not dark and dingy at all. This specific location is privately owned so perhaps that's why the stark difference from other Y's I've been to in the past. It also offers a little bit of everything – from children to adults. Classes are offered almost hourly and the gym equipment is in great condition. The staff and instructors are all very friendly and professional.Jessica Diaz

When my husband Walt and I decided we wanted to take the stress out of our life and move to a Senior Independent Living facility we pretty much thought we would go to Gulf Coast Village since my mom had been here when it was only 2 years old and it was such a wonderful experience for her and us. But our only child lived in Texas and wanted us to move to out there. So we took a trip to visit her and toured 4 or 5 of the facilities in the area. While it was close to her and they were all new and beautiful but not in the weather we had gotten used to in SW Florida and we felt that perhaps being closer to her could wait until only one of us was alive. While sad, she understood how we felt but asked that we explore other newer facilities in our area to make sure that Gulf Coast Village was the right one for us. While we had been attending many of the social gatherings at Gulf Coast Village, met residents and staff and felt right at home we honored her request. We visited 4 or 5 of the local facilities that were newer and met the people who were marketing them. All very nice people and lovely facilities but not all were "Forever Care" and they all had such a "clinical" feel to them. While they were newer they lacked the "I am home" feeling that the wooded campus of Gulf Coast Village had. At that point we were sold. It was not easy to make such a drastic move but once settled in we felt like we were living on a cruise ship. Now while that was impressive, it is nothing compared to the feeling of living in a lovely little section of a wonderful mansion with so many things to do and with so many others who are sharing the experience. And even that… is nothing compared to living in a place with staff that treats you with love and patience as though you are family. We truly wish we had done this 5 years ago when we were younger instead of waiting. It would have been so much easier. But thankfully we did do it and turns out when all factors are considered such as food, entertainment, maintenance etc….it is less money monthly to live here in our little piece of heaven. I am sad that I had to leave even 1 star. I spent 34 days in this facility and I have to say it was the worst experience of my life. 9 I have never left a bad review but I feel compelled as far as this place is concerned. The food was terrible and the meals were always cold. The entire time I was there I think I had 1 warm meal. They moved me 3 times I had to wait for the 2hrs the 2nd time while they cleaned and sanitized a room for me. Well guess what the room they gave me was filthy, shoes stuck to the floor and bugs were running rampant. It had not been cleaned. It was so disgusting that my physical therapist cleaned the floor with wet paper towels. I was in that room for 2 weeks and they never cleaned it. Also my call button did not work there were times I had to wait a long time for help to the bathroom. I tested positive for covid after 3 weeks because they moved the patients with covid right next door to me. They hung a curtain in the hallway to keep the covid germs away, what a joke. Half of the time the nurses and CVNs didn't wear the proper garments to enter my room. I even had a nurse come mto my room.with no gloves,no mask, and no paper gown. l called management nearly every day to no avail. Lynn DavisLynn Davis

How does one manage a pandemic? Let me tell you how Gulf Coast Village does it. They do it by caring. Every hour of every day they care by providing us with meals in our apartments, activities we can do either by ourselves or in small groups well spaced apart, shopping at stores for us, taking us to our doctor appointments, and providing for those with special needs. For each of these actions, the well trained staff demonstrate remarkable patience, skill, and humor. The dining selections offered in our weekly menu show the imagination and talent in our kitchen. Although the servings are boxed, each item is carefully prepared, and the proof is in the tasting. The meals are distributed by the dining room servers to our door where we make our selection for the day. They may suggest and offer help as well as recommendations, but maintain the strict discipline required for our isolation. With everyone wearing a face mask, recognition of our servers is difficult. I want to tell them all how much I appreciate what they, and the entire staff, are doing to make us comfortable and safe during this seriously troubling epidemic. May God bless them!.Stuart Hodes

" Let the buyer beware …… " I was referred to FCS by my Primary Physician for consultation, under the assumption that the group accepted my insurance. They did bill my insurance for certain services, and were paid by the insurance carrier, but they also billed ME for an amount other than my normal co-pay…. when I questioned the charges, I was informed that the FCS Doctor was " out of network", which was never disclosed to me prior to services rendered. I am now responsible for a significant out of pocket expense ! Corporate Billing Department when confronted was " very sorry " …. with no other explanation. DO NOT fall victim to a deceptive business practice, folks …. check your insurance coverage before you schedule those appointments.Rich Cestaro

Unorganized. I had 2 appts with them. One took 2 hours as I went to check out and was called back for more bloodwork twice. Then I had an appt set in the office today. I waited 25 mins, but there were 3 people in front of me and one that was waiting for 45 mins. As far as the actual medical knowhow, I would say that the staff if knowledgeable and courteous and friendly. Even when patients are not, they remain professional. My recommendation would be to give the option for telehealth appointments when possible so that people could avoid wasting their time waiting, especially during season.Gary Bell

I completed 7 weeks of chemotherapy under the care and direction of Dr. Soori June, 2021. The nurses were excellent and were like good friends during my treatments there every week. Dr. Soori was extremely intelligent in his approach to my care and concerns. I am happy to say after one year now my recent PET scan is still clear! My advice to everyone is to ask a lot of pertinent questions so as to fully understand the recommendations for your treatments and understand fully what to expect. The rest is up to you! 1. Front desk employees can be rude or helpful….depends on the day and the person. 2. The nurses who take patients from the waiting room have no personality and border on rude. 3. The "check-out" process is cumbersome. The waiting area is small and allows for no distancing. There was a woman (possibly a supervisor) there yesterday yelling at people to pack into the room and get out of the hallway. Lets throw Covid and claustrophobia into an over crowded room. She had no consideration or compassion in a place where compassion should be a top priority. There are never enough people working in this department and it is a terrible bottleneck. By the time you've reached this stage of the center you are ready to get out! Bright spot, when I was in there a few weeks ago I did have a wonderful woman help me in getting to the right person to try to get some assistance while scheduling a scan during check-out. 4. Expecting a return phone call in a timely manner? Don't! I've never had to make so many calls to try to get someone to respond. 5. Radiology (I think his name was Paul) was fantastic. He could give the rest of the staff lessons on "bedside" manners. 6. So far I've only met with my oncologist once and have hope that she will be the shining star in all of this disaster. The cancer center I transferred from was all about patient care with respect, dignity and compassion as well as FRIENDLY!!!! These are all things that this facility seem to be lacking in. I didn't ask to get cancer and shouldn't be made to feel bad because I have it!Jolene Sheppard

I writing in the name of my brother in law, Pedro Herbello. This was our first visit to this center. Dr. Bustamante was fantastic. She quickly took charge of the situation and immediately began contacting physicians at other places which have been involved with my brother recently. Then she order MRIs and other tests STAT. Right there, a blood sample was taken and the results (a total blood count) were available in less than half an hour. Nurses were very attentive. The lady at the check-out counter kept calling several radiology centers in search for one available for immediate service until she found one. After this show of efficiency and care, and been -unfortunately- costumed to see the opposite almost everywhere, we were really positively impress. The center looks spotless.Juan

You will wait forever to get ahold of someone if you call, and you will feel like you're the biggest inconvenience when dealing with them in person. I don't understand how a cancer center gets away with this level of customer service. The nurses are slow and seems like they have frequent turnover and therefore get people who don't really know what they're doing That being said, I love Dr. Raymond, but my visits would be much more pleasant if I could deal with just him.Dani D

One semester in and I'm running far far away. Sucks every cent out of you. Paid $60 for parking just to have to look for a spot for hours. My roommate went to get food the other day at 11 at night and finally gave up looking for parking at 2am. Getting food right across the road didn't take 3 hours… (more like 15 mins) then got ticketed for parking in a hall director spot for the night because she wanted to go to sleep.. never bring your car here if you're tricked into going here. Also the cafeteria food isn't okay. You're forced to get a meal plan just like you're forced to get a dorm. Any vegetarians beware!!! I've found meat in their vegan options (like a piece of pepperoni on a vegan pizza). Also the dorms you're forced into aren't safe. The bathrooms are small and the vents seem to be moldy or rusty… either way I've stayed away from cleaning that because I don't have the equipment to do it safely. The shower is cramped at best and has long yellow stains and uneven tiles. The walls are thin and you can always hear someone doing something. Don't expect to get any studying done. (Not like you're going to college to study right!?!?)… also expect fines for everything.. they also charge extra money for anything that's remotely convenient. They will screw you over and the education you could get here isn't worth the heartache.. I loved my last college deeply and it did a lot for me… but this just isn't the fit for any self respecting person who wants to get a meaningful degree.Erica Langley

The environment is friendly and everyone there is nice & helpful but is not the school for me. Tried to give it a chance but didn't last 4 days simply bc the school is super extra and has way toooo many fees for everything. You basically paying for all the "free" things that the school hype up like "free" tutoring and etc. I stayed on campus and the experience was okay depending on which residence hall you choose. The only thing that upsetted me was the fact they gave me a dirty room and I had to basically do their job. Dorms are crazy expensive here and always check your Ebill on a daily bc the school try to sneak extra charges on you to basically get more money. If you choose to stay on campus and have a car I advise to not get a permit for them bc its a waste of money. SFA can be a serious rip offShellie R.

I was there an lived in hall 14. It was loud and you couldn't get anything done. The teachers and advisers are a joke. They would tell you one thing and do another. A good example would be the science department. They give you extra credit and I did the extra credit but I never received any points for doing it. Then when I challenged the grade with the dean the teacher erased the extra credit part on his syllabus. I respond to anyone looking at this college to look somewhere else. There are better schools to go to. Also, the admission requirements are very easy.Brent Stephenson

I began attending OLLU when I was still active duty in the Navy. I became interested in this school because I was looking for a Psychology program that had a basis in Social Work. What sold me on the choice was the class size. See before I joined the Navy and really my reason for doing so was because I didn't think that I nor my parents could afford to send me to college after high school. So without having the college experience, even at the community college level, I wanted a smaller and more focused approach at a school that had a great reputation and track record. Once enrolled I loved the quiet on campus environment and the facilities were modern enough for the resources provided. I truly enjoyed the gym. Because of the small campus and student body the gym was never crowded but had all the latest equipment so working out there was a dream. My professors were very understanding and provided options if at any time my schedule became a little complicated. I love this school and if I had more time in San Antonio I'd be able to finish my last few credits. Go SAINTS!!!!!Atlee Urquhart

I just finished my first semester at OLLU. The campus is amazing! The classes are small enough to where the professor can get to know each individual student and not see them as a number or paycheck. You always see the same people, so it isn't like meeting someone new everyday. By the end of one week, you remember people's faces even if you don't become friends or acquaintances. The professors I've had so far were awesome! The Survey for Mexican-American Literature, was my favorite professor. She is very passionate about culture and her job. The only dislike I would have about the school is the tuition, but then again most of the professors all care about the quality of education each student receives. There is also a higher chance at making new friends because of the small student population. Study groups aren't as awkward. Other than tuition, I don't have any problems with the school. It has become my home.Dorien Earl

Won't allow fans to attend the Baseball games (which draw literally 10s of people) in the open air because "safety is our main concern" according to the spokesperson I spoke with.. Attempting to keep people safe from a virus with a 99.9% survival rate at the cost of the student athletes and families not getting every possible opportunity to share this experience that MANY have overpaid for shows a lack of common sense or intelligent leadership. I hope the 40% of students that actually do graduate from this institution are better prepared to navigate this world than the people that are responsible for their education.David Williams

Firstly, I just wanted to say I got the help I needed and this isn't related to childcare. So far, my experience at this school has been great. I'm a newer student at FGCU and I was trying to find my way around campus so I walk to the nearest place I could find. Not sure of the exact name but the little eagle learning center. I was met at the door by the center's director. I didn't catch a name but she had red hair. She did help me but I felt like she was very reluctant to guide me in the right direction. You know when someone just wants to get rid of you? That's how I felt. She wasn't very welcoming and I understand it may be due to a personal issue or the fact that they might not have wanted random visitors due to COVID-19 (but I had just stood outside because she was almost blocking me from entering). That's fine but I never stepped foot into the center. But honestly, she made me feel kind of foolish for asking for help. There wasn't any need to treat me as an annoyance. The rest of my experience here has been good though.Noel

Nice school enjoyed my four years here, you’ll maybe use the beach a handful of times, it’s not that cool it’s a lake with gators, soar in 4 is a lie they only pay for your first year if you pay out of pocket, don’t use fafsa and don’t use florida prepaid or anything like that… the teachers are good some harder than others, attendance is mandatory in most classes with teacher’s having the liberty to cancel or not show up whenever, as if we, the students, don’t pay them… interesting, take lots of weird electives chances are you’ll enjoy them, the basketball team has fallen off since 2017 our baseball team and girls basketball is decent, no much of a party school so I guess it’s easy to focus on classes. Overall an easy school.myles worrell

Beautiful university, great professors, nice housing, good community, lots to do, lots of options for food, nature trails, lots of parking, easy to navigate, etc. Amazing university especially for environmental students. I love being a student here. Only complaint is that most of the general staff (not professors!) is rather unhelpful and difficult to work with. You constantly have to nag people and deal with incompetence just to get anything general done (housing, enrollment, fees, etc.). If you are a new student, try not to get discouraged by the incompetent staff because once you finally deal with the nonsense, the actual education and community aspects are worth it imo.Fish
